Frieren watches the dirt slowly engulf the coffin
Wow. He's really gone
That was an... interesting half century or so they had together. Pretty fun, actually. Stressful at times, but... yeah, fun
Those brow-beating comments she overheard at the ceremony don't bother her that much really. The kids aren't crying either, why should she?
Sure it was a bit sudden, but... They all knew it was coming

She squeezes her hand. For the first time in years, the ring on her finger starts to bother her
