Emerald Storm

Summary:

Reincarnation.
It was his saving grace. If hadn't regained his memories of being Salem Slytherin he'd still be with the Dursley's. Thank the gods that he's here to flip this world upside down. It needs fixed.

Chapter I

{[Third pov]}

Little Harry had been almost six years old when his head seemed to split open with memories of another lifetime. Memories of when he was Salem Salazar Slytherin the grandson of two of the Hogwarts founders, Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor. His head hurt and everything seemed so hazy for the next week as his memories sorted themselves out, between the past life and the new life. Even his emotions were against him as a particular memory of his own murder came to him. His own mother, Marian Freya Slytherin, had killed his past self. She'd been pissed that Grandfather had disowned her when she tried to kill him the first time as a child and for marrying his traitorous ex-apprentice, Elijah Gaunt. Grandfather Salazar and Granddad Godric had made sure neither she or any children she bore to Elijah Gaunt wouldn't inherit either the Gryffindor or Slytherin name. The Blood feud that was sworn made Auntie Rowena gleeful and Auntie Helga smug.

Salem Salazar Slytherin had thankfully had the chance to have children to continue his line but being murdered by his mother at the age of nineteen seemed to burn a little flame of resentment. Alright so it wasn't little, but the point was still there. His now almost six year old body had been a surprise but as soon as he could he escaped the wretched muggles he'd been ‘living’ with. To Slytherin Keep he'd gone, the house elves sobbing joyfully and his magic singing. His dive in research on the current era was next, it was a disaster. The Wixen world of Europe was in perilous danger of dying. This Dumbledore fellow was definitely doing it purposely, but whether or not he knew it was killing the Wixen world Salem -er Harry knew not.

Years later when his Hogwarts letter came he'd decided to not go for now. He couldn't face the stoney walls of Hogwarts; his first home. Not only did he have too much to do but it was too painful; and his first stop was the Slytherin Library. He needed to be better than he was in his past life.

It was another few years when Salem, sorry Harry, had felt comfortable in what he knew to leave Slytherin Keep. In order to get the ball rolling though he had to get to Gringotts for an Inheritance test. He was fourteen and would be eligible for any heirships soon. He needed to know that before moving forward.

{[Hadrian/Salem pov]}

My raven black hair swayed gently in its low ponytail as my shoes made clicking sounds against the white stone steps of Gringotts. Even after so long the building seemed to have barely changed, its magnificent stone walls gave me a sense of comfort as I made my way to a Teller.

“Greetings Master Teller. May your enemies be swiftly cut down. I would like an Inheritance test done.” Voice silky smooth, I made sure to keep eye contact with the Goblin Teller. The goblin was visibly startled, as were the others around. It seemed the information was correct in saying they didn't receive respect from Wixen anymore; what a disappointment. It only took seconds but the goblin grunted and gestured for another goblin to guide me to another room. The new goblin that now sat across from him slid a blank piece of parchment and a thin needle over.

“Three drops of blood for a basic Inheritance test and seven for one that is in depth." The goblin grunted. I only grinned a bit and pushed the needle into my index finger. Seven drops of crimson liquid splattered on the parchment before seemingly disappearing in thin air. It took only two minutes for dark letters to start painting the parchment.

My blood boiled at the information given. When I got my hands on Albus Brian Dumbledore I would destroy him. Tear down his precious reputation and watch him burn. On happier news though, I do have family members that are alive though.

“Thank you for this Master Goblin. I would like to gain my many heirships now, and if you would be so kind as to replace my family's current manager. All discrepancies will be returned with interest, though I would like to ignore the family itself, just the people.” I seethed, anger taking a tight grip of me. The goblin himself seemed just as angry, calling out in his native tongue to the guard.

“Before you can gain anything you must first have a cleansing. If you would please follow myself and Guard Fangtooth to the Healing Ward.” The goblin, Griphook, stated.

The next few hours were filled with pain as the Healers and a Red haired Curse breaker removed the blocks and potion residue. It definitely hurt but my magic felt lighter and so much freer from before. Though hurting and slightly high from the feeling my magic brought me, I pushed through as Master Griphook introduced me to my new family's manager Master Ragnarok. The goblin was also the current King of the goblin nation.

“Greetings King Ragnarok, may your enemies be swiftly cut down." I huffed slightly through lingering pain. The king gave a terrifying sharp grin and set several boxes on the desk.

“Greetings to you as well, Prince Le Fey. May your coffers ever be full. I must admit it has been quite some time since a Wixen respected goblin way. I'm pleased you follow your ancestors path of goblin friendship.” King Ragnarok hummed. The boxes he set down seemed to melt away showing several rings and one diadem.

"We’ll go from highest standing to lowest. If the family magics of one does not approve, the ring will simply disappear back to the vault. The diadem here is for your Le Fay Kingship in Avalon. After that in order will be Emrys, Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Evans, Peverell, Potter, Hawthorne and then your heirship to house Black.” He pushed the pale gold diadem towards me, the emerald jewels gleaming in the soft office light. The breath I held as I let the leaf designed diadem descend onto my head seemed useless as the Le Fay family magic crashed into me with a warmth like a campfire. It felt like coming home, tension releasing from my shoulders as Ragnarok hummed before pushing a slim jade and bronze ring to me. The Emrys ring was surprisingly simple but the family magic was extraordinary, as though I had walked through the flames a dragon had released. The next ring was green themed as well as familiar. The Slytherin ring and magic welcomed me back as though I never left. The same happened as Ragnarok handed the Gryffindor ring, it's ruby red contrasting the other rings. It only took a movement for the rings to merge and Ragnarok to push forward the next, Ravenclaw. The family magics took longer to welcome me but did so gladly, its slightly earthy tone was a weird feeling.

The Evans’ Knight ship came next, this one not actually a ring but a sword shaped necklace. The magic itself was stubborn and burned bright as it wished for justice against those that tried to erase their history. As proud descendants of Sir Percival they had a duty to stay true to themselves. The Lordship of Peverell came next, the ring held tight and the family magics took longer but the cold air of a skeleton hand seemed to aid its confirmation. I was accepted, the ring's black sapphire glittered on my middle finger. The Potter lordship passed easily as did the Hawthorne lordship, both rings merging with the Peverell ring. The Black heir ring however wished vengeance. I could only be heir if I followed through to disown someone who disgraced the house. It was strange letting the family magics paint an image of the woman in my head, Bellatrix Lestrange. The Black's bowed to no one and letting someone mark her as property was disgusting. The family magics also wished for two other acts, both of which I promised.

The first was the welcome Andromeda Tonks back into the family, this includes her daughter. The next was to make sure Narcissa Malfoy’s husband was cleansed and to set her son straight. (Whatever that means.) Nonetheless I swore to do so but would only do it in their presence, it got the point across better. With everything done my magic quivered and shakes, high on the feeling of family magics accepting me.

“Congratulations King Le Fey. Now I must inform you that someone did attempt to claim the Slytherin line however since they were from the disowned line we turned them away. As for the discrepancies they'll take awhile to recover but be reassured that we will be on it immediately." King Ragnarok said, hands placed gracefully in front of him. My lips briefly quivered before returning to my usual stoic facial expression.

“You have my thanks King Ragnarok. I'd be ever thankful if I could also receive a vault linked pouch and a possible location of my blood adopted father, Sirius Black-Lupin." My voice only quivered once as I finally came down from my high. Ragnarok's laugh was just as terrifying as his grin but he handed me a small pouch and a little black card that had a gold colored emblem on it.

“Unlike Wixen we goblins do keep up with muggles so the Gringotts card can be used in the muggle world. As for Sirius Black-Lupin I would check the family magics. As his current residence is under a fidelius charm to us. May your enemies be swiftly cut down, King Le Fey.”

I gave a devilish grin to the goblin. "And may your coffers never empty. I wish you a good day, your highness. And please just Hadrian will due, I have a feeling we'll be doing plenty of business.”

→_→←_←→_→←_←

Diagon Alley had changed in many ways but at the same time it didn't. One such place was Olivander's wand shop, the pre-made wands that only partially suited someone. Not that they told you that. I skipped over his shop and slipped into Horizon Alley, hopefully Quincy’s wand shop was still there. Letting one's magic choose the wood and core always made one's potential shine. Sure enough Quincy's tacky yellow shop building was still there, a bit weathered and old but there.

The door chimed as I walked through, the soft tune alerting the older blonde woman to my presence. The scar on the left side of my face drew her attention immediately and she seemed to suck in a sharp breath.

“Harry Potter. But Dumbledore said you were in Asia learning in secret?!" She seemed flabbergasted at my presence here. I only gave her a huff of amusement.

“Apologies, milady but my name is Hadrian Potter-Black not Harry. I'd also like to state that I don't know Albus Dumbledore, the man seems to be a pathological liar though. Now while I'm used to wandless magic I'm going to need a wand for the upcoming school year. I plan on attending Hogwarts now that I've settled my other business.” The woman seemed to visibly stutter at my statement. She immediately hauled around pulling me to three tables she had set up. One had the woods, another had the cores, and the last had jewels. Focal points most likely, I know Grandfather Salazar had one.

“Alright dear, carefully now let your magic reach for your wand elements. Don't be alarmed if you have more than one core or even have a focal gem. Once your items are chosen the actual making of the wand will take the rest of the day so come back around noon tomorrow for it. Would you like a holster as well, it'll cost an extra galleon if you want a thigh holster though. It just takes a bit more material.” The woman chattered as if she didn't need to breathe. The slow giggle and awe I received when I released my magic was her only reaction to my dark magic. Two woods, two cores, and a focal gem. Yew, Holly, Basilisk venom, a Phoenix feather, and a malachite gem.

“I'll be back tomorrow for my wand and a wrist holster. Preferably in a black color. Thank you for your time Miss.” I charmingly said, a soft smile gracing my lips. The woman's face flushed lightly as she gave a giggle as she waved me off.

“Off you go, charmer. If you're getting your school books next then I suggest Blishwick Second Hand Books. It's a good thing there's still another two months till the school year or else you'd be out of luck, they usually close the last week of summer break. Their children go to Hogwarts as well. Plus they always have a good deal on the full year sets." The woman said, face calming down from its flush. And so I went making my way from one shop to the next. I ended back in the main alley, Diagon, heading to Twilfitt and Tattings for the uniform robes.

The oak door chimed as I opened it, cool air hitting my face. Soft classical music played and I could faintly hear the hum of a shearing spell. Light conversation drew to an end as I made my way towards the counter where a family of three stood. Both men shared traits of the Veela with platinum blond hair and gray eyes, but the woman looked like a Noir. The woman had majorly black hair, the front quarter sides and bangs were a platinum blonde; her sterling gray eyes bore into my features. She no doubt noticed the Black family magics marking me as Heir Black. My tailored three piece suit quickly caught their eyes with its black and dark red coloring.

“Greetings Lord McKinney, it's wonderful to see you again. Who are your guests?” Like flies to honey the three seemed to visibly relax at my silk smooth voice. Lord McKinney himself looked like he'd explode in excitement, the man seeming to vibrate in his own skin, gesturing to the eldest blond.

“Greetings Heir Slytherin, this man is Lord Lucius Malfoy. With him is his wife Lady Narcissa Malfoy and his heir Draco Malfoy.” Lord McKinney’s slightly higher pitched voice introduced. That was one task completed; locate and speak to the Malfoy's. The Malfoy family looked taken aback at how Lord McKinney addressed me.

"As of this morning I'm Duke Slytherin, Lord McKinney. It's a pleasure to meet you all. My name is Hadrian Thomas Charles Potter-Black. I'm the Duke of houses Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Emrys. Lord over houses Peverell, Potter, Hawthorne, and Heir of House Black. A mouthful I know but please just call me Hadrian.” I said charmingly with a soft smile. -Best leave out that I'm King Le Fay. The Evans' Knight hood is unwise as well. I don't know how they'll respond to it.-

Heir Malfoy flinched, eyes darting towards the jagged lightning shaped scar on my face. Lady Malfoy only gave a slight hum before speaking.

“I was unaware that the famed Harry Potter was able to inherit so many titles or that he was back from Asia."

I scowled, giving a small scoff, "Despite what Albus Dumbledore has told the public, I was not in Asia to learn in secret. I have never met the man nor is he my Magical Guardian. He's a delusional old man that has lied and manipulated the public like the sheep they are. My name is not Harry, it's Hadrian.”

“I knew the Potter's were descendants of Godric Gryffindor but where do your ties with Slytherin and Ravenclaw come from?” Lord Malfoy asked cautiously, probably not wanting to anger a ‘child’ whose status was higher than his own. I gave him a thoughtful hum at first, noticing a strange little beetle out of the corner of my eye. The magic surrounding the little pest made it a clear sign of being human. An Animagus, likely a reporter for a newspaper or magazine. -This could spell the start of a wonderful downfall for Dumbledore.- I thought with an inward smirk.

“Slytherin is also from the Potter line. Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin were married. Ravenclaw however is through my Sire’s line of House Wayne.” I said politely, watching as Lord Malfoy gave a deep frown. Lady Malfoy also gave a frown while her son only looked on in confusion.

“Sire? I thought the late Lord James Potter married that muggleborn, Lily Evans?" Heir Malfoy questioned, one could practically see little question marks floating above his head. I gave a little laugh at the imagery.

“My Godmother never married Jacques Potter. My bearer married Lord Bruce Wayne, he was a transfer student who came to Hogwarts during his and my bearer’s third year. While both Lily Evans and Lord Sirius Black did blood adopt me, it was mostly to help protect me further with the godparent oath they took. If you'd like we can speak further at Slytherin Keep?” I say slyly. I could see the little wheels in Lord Malfoy's head turning.

"It would be our pleasure, Duke Slytherin. Would dinner tomorrow work for you? It would allow not only us but yourself to finish shopping and prepare for it.” Lady Malfoy took charge. There was a gleam in her eyes that screamed its presence. Clearly the idea of going to Slytherin Keep was too good to pass up. I gave the woman a soft smile.

“Please Lady Malfoy, we're technically family, call me Hadrian. Tomorrow works fine for me. Are you partial to anything? I'll make sure to have it included in our dinner some way.”

“Oh, just call me Cissa then Hadrian. We'll be fine with anything but Draco is allergic to Mangos. We'll make sure to bring a bottle of pumpkin juice or perhaps sparkling water.” Cissa giggled. I winced and both Lord Malfoy and his son noticed, giving a slight glare.

“The sparkling water would be best Cissa. I'm allergic to pumpkin. Unfortunate, I know but I would rather I didn't swell up like a balloon.” I said feeling sheepish. All three plus Lord McKinney winced.

“Oh I'm sorry dear. I should've asked if you were allergic to anything. What an unfortunate food to be allergic to. When I was a child my aunt, your grandmother Dorea Potter, would make all of us kids a hearty Cream of Pumpkin soup on the colder winter days. She lives in a different Wixen community nowadays.” Narcissa murmured softly, reminiscing of her childhood.

My own heart rate speeds up at the thought of my current life's grandmother. A different country? If she's in America then there's a high chance she's in Gotham with my Sire. With a man who should have been here or at least took me with him to America. Maybe then I wouldn't have been with that horse faced harpy and her whale of a husband. A bubble of anger and resentment was racing in an electric current under my skin. I didn't know the full story yet but I… the scars and torment I gained from the Dursley family seemed to burn at the memories, preventing me from desiring the truth from Bruce Wayne. My father, I almost didn't want to meet him but I had to if I wanted to meet my grandmother.

“I don't leave for the States for another couple weeks. Perhaps we can speak of her some more during dinner tomorrow.” I conceded. Lord Malfoy gave a hum, pulling his cane up and extending his hand towards me, letting him shake hands.

“We shall floo to Slytherin Keep at around six thirty pm tomorrow. It was a delight meeting you Hadrian." Lord Malfoy - er. Lucius said kindly before leading both his son and wife away.

Lord McKinney gave a little squeak of excitement before leading back towards his fabrics and measuring stand. The flamboyant brunet had immediately got busy with the clothing and uniforms I needed. The process only took thirty minutes but I stopped the man before he could guide me back to his register.

“Lord McKinney, what fabrics would take to runes better? Please note that the runes would be embroidered with Acromantula silk.” I inquired. The man visibly stuttered for a split second before a thoughtful look took over his hazel eyes.

“There are a lot of fabrics that hold enchantments well but runes? I don't think that's been done before. Or at least I haven't heard of it being done. Tell you what, let's get you a bunch of small fabric squares to test it with. Come back when you determine which one works best.” Lord McKinney cheerfully said, pulling out a couple baskets from some shelves in the corner of the room. Putting two of each fabric together he bound them together in a bright teal ribbon before handing me the bundle.

“I look forward to seeing what your current project wields. The last one with the hair pins was beautiful. Have a wonderful day Duke Slytherin.” Lord McKinney exclaimed gleefully. The hair pins I made for his wife’s store seemed to sell like hot cakes. The runes I put on them were different depending on design. The one that sold out the most were a little flower design, the runes made it so the wind would not mess one's hair up.

“Thank you Lord McKinney, I hope you have a wonderful day. Please let your wife know of my thanks as well.” I say as I shrunk the bundle to put in my pocket with the rest of my shrunken items. The door gave a cheerful chime as I left with the Animagus from before silently slipping onto my shoulder. My heeled dragon hide boots clicked against the stone road as I slid through the increasing crowd of Diagon Alley and into Celestial Alley. A restaurant I liked to enjoy, Opulent Wonders, had private rooms one could request.

Entering the lavish restaurant a server greeted me, smiling weary and clearly tired, “Welcome to Opulent Wonders, where you're able to taste dreams. How many in your party?"

“Two. I'd like to request a private room if one is available." I said patiently. The server girl was not having a good day, the bags under her eyes being a large tell. The other hints being her slightly somber posture and her fidgeting fingers.

“We only have the Bronze Room available, is that alright?” The blonde server inquired.

"Yes, that's fine. If a woman comes telling you she's meeting with someone. Ask her if it's Slytherin or Gryffindor she should say both. That'll be my second party member.”

The woman nods as she leads me to the Bronze Room, the Animagus from my shoulder leaving as we reach the door.

Sitting at the table in the bronze themed room I waited only ten minutes. Ten minutes before the server comes back leading another blonde woman with bright red glasses.

"When you're ready to order just press your wand on the menu stating what you want. It'll send a notification to the kitchens and when it's ready either I or the other server on staff will bring it back. If you need anything else ask for Nym, aka me, or Joel the other server. The enchantments in our name tags will let us know you need us.” Nym divulged to the pair before leaving us with the menus. The blonde across the table waited till the door was fully shut and the privacy charms activated before speaking up.

“I'm impressed you knew I was there. Not many can tell when an Animagus is in the room, Duke Slytherin. My name is Rita Skeeter, I'm a reporter for the Prophet.” The woman introduced herself kindly but I could see the scheming glint in her blue eyes.

“So I deduced. As you have found out I am Duke Hadrian Thomas Charles Potter-Black. Before we get to much further I would prefer it if you made an oath to keep to the truth when you publish your report. It would be a shame if the ministry or ICW were to find an unregistered Animagus spying on the public.” My soft smile had a sinister undertone that I could tell Ms. Skeeter had immediately noticed. A visible shutter running down her spine, dark wisps of my magic seeming to press down on her. She seemed to freeze in place, thoughts running a mile a minute before pulling out her wand and performing the oath.

Afterwards the meal and conversation we had were quite pleasant. The woman's vindictive nature would come in handy in the near future. The only thing I requested was to delay our meeting being published until the second of September so that I'd be able to witness Albus Dumbledore’s reaction. In the meantime I gave her plenty of things to publish before that. Such as the dark past of Dumbledore and whether or not ‘Harry Potter’ was truly in Asia. And while I did inform Rita that I visited many Asian countries, it was for a brief week, maybe two, but I was never there on behalf of Dumbledore. Nor have I even met the man. Rita Skeeter’s gleeful look as we parted ways spelled trouble and I saw many Wixen quickly getting out of her way.

That night found me settling into Fay Castle. Because honestly who would turn away the chance to live here? There's four separate libraries. I was determined to read each and every book. However that would wait, I was currently sitting in one of the four offices. The plush chair welcomed me as I gave a calculating stare at the cell phone I'd bought earlier. I had Pepper gather information on my biological father and the horde of children he's adopted. Not to mention my younger half brother Damian Wayne. The loyal house elf had given me a list of cell numbers belonging to the entire family, my only dilemma was who to call first. I want to speak with Father but only face to face so the next best option was Mr. Pennyworth or Richard Grayson. Though getting through a meaningful conversation without asking questions about his healing career would be next to impossible for Mr. Pennyworth. Grayson it is then.

Pulling the emerald cased cell phone towards me, I slowly pressed Richard Grayson's number in. The dial tone feeling louder than my own heart beats that hammered with my nervousness. While Pepper had said he seemed easy going she also said that he and the others dressed up to fight crime at night. Which meant he might not believe me.

I gave an annoyed sigh, “Finley, would bring me some Earl Grey tea? A plate of the leftover biscuits as well please." The peppy house elf took only a minute to bring the food and tea as my cell rang. It then stopped with a click, a cheerful man's voice coming through the speaker.

“Officer Grayson speaking!" The man joyfully exclaimed. I winced, he was at his day job then. I'd forgotten about the time difference.

“Yes hello Officer Grayson. I apologize I hadn't meant to bother you when you were at work. My name is Hadrian Potter-'' It was here when the man cut me off. His voice, still cheerful but has a cutting edge to it.

“How strange! I could've sworn Bruce told me you were supposed to be dead!” The man bitterly laughed. A wave of confusion washed over me. Dead? Surely not.

“I- I'm sorry? What on earth do you mean by dead? As far as I knew Mr. Wayne pretty much abandoned me to my godmother’s horse-faced harpy of a sister!" Anger colored my voice, my magic making objects around the room shake. There was a brief ‘oh shit’ on Grayson's side. The voice was not coming from him but a woman's voice.

“It seems we have different stories. Please tell me what my Sire has told you and I shall tell you what I know. Perhaps we can solve this impasse." I grumble watching two house elves come to straighten the room and Pepper leave a calming draught. I have a feeling I'll need it.

"A few weeks after Bruce took me in I found a picture he had hidden in his office. It was a family picture with him, a messy haired man, Alfred and a baby. Bruce explained that the man was his husband and the baby was you. That two weeks before you and his husband died he'd been called back to the States. An emergency that had taken two months to solve, but upon coming back a man by the name Albus Dumbledore told Bruce that some Voldy guy murdered you both. Bruce couldn't stand to stay in Britain so he came back to Gotham.” Grayson explained in a somber tone. My fist made a loud crack sound as it connected with the desk, tears welding up in my eyes. -Something I'm sure Grayson heard from his side.- Yet again Albus Dumbledore has manipulated people for his own gain.

“While my bearer, Bruce's husband, did die I did not. The Voldy guy is a man by the name of Thomas Marvolo Riddle Jr with the alter ego name of Lord Voldemort. He supposedly heard a prophecy about either myself or another boy that would be his demise. In order to prevent that he, with the help of another, killed Jacques and then tried to kill me. However something happened and the killing curse rebound onto himself, disintegrating his body to only ash. Albus Dumbledore lied to Bruce. The bastard knew I was not dead as he himself had dropped me off at Petunia Dursley’s house. I am so sorry.” My voice cracked, tears leaving a shiny mess as they flowed freely. The agony of knowing my younger self could have had a childhood had my chest tightening in heart wrenching pain.

“Hey. Hey- Come on now. It's not your fault. Take a second to gather yourself. Then we can speak about why you called. How does that sound?" Grayson counseled. Despite not being able to see me I gave the man a nod and reached out for the calming draught. The cork popping off sounded loud and the good awful taste that I was still trying to solve was promenade in my mouth. A familiar feeling of calmness washed over like a tidal wave.

“Okay. Alright, I'm calm now. I thank you for that chance Grayson." I muttered. There were two sets of a snorting laugh.

"Damian does that too. He calls everyone by their last name. Anyways you called for a reason? And no, I'm not actually at work. So don't worry about being a bother.” Grayson chirped.

“Yes. I'll be arriving in Gotham on July 15th. I was… I was wondering if you would be able to get me from the airport. I figured it would let us get to know each other better. Also because I couldn't bear to speak with Father over the phone and not face to face.” I put forth. Grayson let out an excited squeal.

“You bet your ass I'll be there. Just shoot a message as to when your plane lands. I'll most likely be there with a friend who is actually here now too. Her name is Barbara Gordon." Both Grayson and his friend Gordon laughed before I let the conversation end.

"I'll let you both go now but I'll send over a picture of myself so when you do pick me up you're not alarmed. I wish you both a good night.”

Chapter 2: Chapter Two

Chapter Two

{[Hadrian pov]}

Waking up in the master bedroom of Fay Castle was definitely different to that of Slytherin Keep. To which I would be back in as soon as I finished dressing anyways. Choosing something more simple than the three piece suit that I wore yesterday I had Pepper fetch a black dress shirt, emerald tie, black dress pants, and paisley designed black corset vest. My diadem once again glamoured itself to not appear to anyone that didn't know and rings glittering on my fingers. A pair of simple emerald earrings and my tongue piercing switched to the rose piece. The same dragonhide boots I'd worn yesterday were a breeze to lace up and complete the look.

Flooing over to Slytherin Keep I made my way to the kitchens to begin meal prepping. The bread needed rising and things needed to marinate. Bread, a Salad starter, a main meal, and dessert. A creamy Italian cucumber salad would be a nice starter. Honey Garlic pork chops for the main meal perhaps? With asparagus and mashed potatoes as sides. And my Blackberry Tiramisu for dessert sounds good. Or maybe the Chocolate Raspberry Cake I had wanted to make last week. The house elves can get whatever they want to drink but a pitcher of ice water will be at the table.

←_←→_→

In between preparing for tonight I'd gone back to Horizon Alley to get my wand from Quincy’s Wand Shop. Then I headed to Swanson’s Market to retrieve more garlic and a few containers of blackberries as I'd decided on the Blackberry Tiramisu. The market had definitely been a staple in my life these few years, the owners themselves often helping me when I'd been younger. It was a shame that many Wixen didn't come here. Seeing as Purebloods usually sent their house elves to do grocery shopping and not all first generation Wixen knew the market existed. Over the years though I'd taken the initiative to scheme with Lord McKinney to promote the Market so it wasn't as dead as it used to be when I walked in and checked out. People actually browsing the Market stalls, trying the samples, or even just chatting with stall vendors. It brought a smile to my face to see people actually being here.

“Heir Slytherin! Over here!" A woman's voice called, snapping me out of my mind. One of the owners of the land, Meredith Swanson, waved joyously at me from a stall holding various animal treats.

“Greetings Mrs. Swanson. I'm actually Duke Slytherin now, I took up the headship yesterday. How are you doing? Your son starts Hogwarts soon doesn't he?" I inquired softly. The boisterously loud woman gave a booming laugh, her glittering honey brown eyes shining.

“Oh I'm doing fine, dear. I'm not that helpless without my husband. Quinn does indeed start his first year. Or at least he's supposed to. We haven't got the letter yet, not that it stops little Quinn from proclaiming his excitement. He's determined that he'll be a Hufflepuff, wants to see if the entrance really is made with barrels. How are you now that you're Duke Slytherin?” The brunette woman questioned as she took notice of Cherry laying around my shoulders. A container of mice immediately put together for the snake, I swear this woman spoils Cherry more than I do. The red bamboo rat snake hissing her delight at the treat.

“Just busy. I only came out today to retrieve my wand and ingredients for a meal I'm making for the Malfoy's and myself tonight. Though I supposed I should tell you that I'll be at Hogwarts this year as well. So if Quinn needs anything he can always approach me. Ah, how much for the mice?” I commented. I knew if I didn't mention it she'd let me walk away without paying, it wouldn't be the first time. Meredith gave a laugh again.

“You caught on again. Two sickles per mouse, dear. That'll come out to eight sickles. Have a pleasant day."

→_→←_←

I'd just placed a cooling and stasis charm on the Blackberry Tiramisu when Finley had alerted me to the Malfoys at the floo. Quickly performing a cleaning charm and taking off my apron I speed walk towards the floo room. The scene of Narcissa murmuring in a soft tone with Lucius and Draco taking in the sights out the window greeted me when I opened the door. All three turned to me, showing the bottle of red grape sparkling juice neatly tucked in the crease of her elbow.

“Welcome to Slytherin Keep. I apologize for not greeting you immediately. Shall we head to the dining room?” I say charmingly. All three agree while handing me the bottle. Our walk was filled with Draco’s soft questions about the castle. Such as why it was called a Keep. And if it was true that a great beast guarded the front gates. Which no, there was no great beast that guarded the front gate. There was however a large stone park for the various snakes around the castle to lounge on. It had been where I found Cherry actually. Said snake was lounging on the back of my usual chair as we entered the dining room. Her beady eyes snapping to stare at the Malfoys had Draco giving a squeak. I only chuckled at Cherry’s antics.

§There’s no need to scare our guests. Why do you insist on intimidating everyone?§ I hissed in parseltongue to Cherry. The absolute wonder, awe, and shock on the Malfoy men had both Narcissa and I giggling.

§They are the ones who insist on invading our nest. ‘Tis not my fault they scare easily.§ Cherry hissed in laughter.

“You speak parseltongue? I thought only the Dark Lord could." Lucius breathed in awe. While I smirked at first it dropped at the mention of the Dark Lord. I gently guided them to the table and let Finley and Pepper serve us glasses of water to start.

“While not many are able to speak parsel within Britain there are many others in other countries. The ones that are here in Britain keep it secret due to the bigotry Dumbledore has raised into the current few generations. Due to my Slytherin lineage I do speak. The only reason the Dark Lord can be is because he's of Gaunt lineage,” I paused here for a sip of my water, “You see his ancestor Elijah Gaunt married Marian Slytherin. She was disowned from the Slytherin line but still held the gift to pass on. From what I understand the Gaunt’s abused the gift and magic punished them for it. At the end they were all near squibs, the Dark Lord being an exception due to his mother's nefarious deeds to have him. Merope Gaunt used a powerful love potion on a wealthy muggle by the name of Tom Riddle, when she was finally pregnant with Tom Riddle Jr the potions stopped. That led to Senior kicking her out; she soon died giving birth to Junior on the steps of Wool’s Orphanage.”

“Oh my. I didn't even know the Dark Lord was a Halfblood let alone this. But why would he go down this path? Why terrorize the Wixen world?" Lucius grits out. He looked as if he'd explode at any movement. Angry was an understatement.

“From the information I'd gathered from both my house elves and the goblins it was a combination of things. When Riddle was eleven and first got his Hogwarts letter Dippet sent the then Transfiguration professor Dumbledore to introduce Riddle to the Wixen world. Unfortunately Riddle’s parseltongue and the items he'd stolen from other children set Dumbledore into mistreating Riddle. Thus started the years Riddle spent at Hogwarts. According to Missy he was actually a rather charming boy. Being sorted into Slytherin, he had a rather strong ambition. He wanted to help keep wixen culture alive, to bring back the declining rituals we weren't able to use anymore. However things changed in his fifth year when Dumbledore played into his fear of death. He let Riddle discover Horcruxes.” I explained. Narcissa gripped her seat in horror. Only Lucius and Draco seemed to not know.

"What are Horcruxes?” Draco asked. Narcissa hissed in anger at her son.

"Said to be the key to immortality, Horcruxes are vessels holding a piece of your soul. What not all books will tell you is that to make a Horcrux one has to murder another in cold blood. It splits your soul in half, exactly half, and enters an item of your choosing. The problem is it doesn't make someone immortal it just prevents someone from entering Hades’ realm. The consequences get worse if you make more than one. From a decline in sanity and your mortal body morphing to a more grotesque figure. Riddle made seven, despite one of those being unintentional. There is no saving him, for there is no way to piece the soul safely back together. This is why Soul magics are usually banned.” I said somberly.

"So with the Dark Lord back the only way he won't be able to come back is to destroy the Horcruxes, yes?” Lucius questioned. I nodded.

"Yes. The goblins have already offered to destroy them safely. There are only five left, the one in my scar and Hufflepuff’s chalice being the two we've found. With the chalice being one I suspect both Slytherin’s Locket and Ravenclaw’s diadem being one as well. We'll just have to track the corrupted magic they give off to take them.” I murmur. Lucius gave a thoughtful hum, as if remembering something.

“There was a diary the Dark Lord gave my father to watch over. It may as well be one of the Horcruxes. I'll make sure to send it to Gringotts with an explanation. Might we get to happier topics?" Lucius almost demanded. Narcissa smirked into her water as did I.

“Pepper! Finley!" I called out. The two house elves popped in, the little skirts of their uniforms giving barely a sway as they did so.

“How may we help Master?" Pepper said eagerly. I laughed a little at her enthusiasm.

“Please bring out the fresh bread and our starters. Don't forget to ask if they want something other than water. I made sure to prepare a peach lemonade and a cucumber infused water as well.” I instructed the two.

“Yes Master!" The two echoed, popping away. Not two seconds later the two were back with bowls and a single platter. The Rye bread smelled wonderful and the slight scent of the creamy Italian dressing on the cucumber salad was great. I could only hope the Malfoys thought so as well. While both adult Malfoys just requested a refill of the water they had already, Draco asked for a glass of the peach lemonade.

“I know usually Wixen just have house elves cook but I have a hobby of cooking so I decided to cook tonight's meal myself. I thought it'd be a good way for you all to get to know me. They also say that the way to a person's heart is through their stomachs.” I laughed. Laughs were held all around as the evening passed by. The conversation was light until Pepper brought out the Blackberry Tiramisu for dessert and Narcissa finally spoke of my grandmother.

“From Dorea’s letters she now lives in France with some of the other Potter's. She visits Gotham in America every year but largely stays with your Uncle Henry.” Narcissa says kindly. Oh. And here I thought she was in America.

“Oh." I droned a bit monotonously. Draco winced.

“My birthday is in two days. If you'd like to come to the party at Malfoy Manor you may see her. She usually comes." Draco offered. I frowned.

“I'm not just going to be there if she is. If I go it'll be because I'm there as a friend to you Draco." I chided the slightly older boy.

“Except you're not just my friend now. You're my cousin.” Draco said triumphantly, like he'd won one over me. Narcissa giggled at her son's antics, her husband giving an amused huff.

“Alright. Alright, I'll go. What time does it start?" I say giving the blond a smirk.

“A majority of Draco's friends will arrive before but it starts at noon. Now dinner was delicious and that blackberry tiramisu was amazing but it's getting late. We shall see you on the fifth for Draco's birthday. I wish you a goodnight, Hadrian." Lucius said softly. I had Pepper pack the leftover Tiramisu and escorted them back to the Floo room.

Two days passed by with only my pet project to help it pass faster. Unfortunately not only am I at an impasse with my project but my hands are bandaged. The amount of times I have stabbed myself with that damned sewing needle is astonishing. However in order to be able to embroider runes I first have to know how to embroider. The only reason I am at the impasse is because I need more muggle embroidery kits. The ones with the practice piece. Thankfully I don't have to even think about this blasted project until at least tomorrow. I currently stood in front of my fireplace with Floo powder in one bandaged hand and Draco's wrapped gift in the other.

“Malfoy Manor!" Into the Floo I go. The green flames transported me in an instant.

“Hello little snake." Narcissa said as she greeted me with a hug and of course scratches for Cherry, who was once again draped across my shoulders.

“Hello Auntie Cissa. I'm a little early but if I'd stayed home any longer I would have gone insane. Besides, now I can speak with you or meet Draco's friends.” I stated, a bit tense. My fingers hurt but I didn't want to accidentally drop Draco's gift.

Narcissa raised a questioning eyebrow, “Does this insanity have anything to do with the bandages that cover both your hands as if they were gloves? I work as a Healer if you'd like to let me see them.”

I winced and let her guide me to the plush couch that sat in the corner. Draco's gift is gently put on the table and her fingers then unwrap the bandages.

“My current pet project is to embroider runes into clothing or even bedding. But to do that I need to know how to embroider. My hands have suffered as a result." I shared with her as she took in the numerous welts that came from each needle stab. They pretty much covered both hands as I was ambidextrous and wanted to be able to do it with both hands.

“While I wish you luck in your endeavor, I'd like it if you were a little more careful. I have some ointment we can put on your hands that'll help. Sonny!” Narcissa insisted. The house elf that came wore an adorable little suit with a medical cross on it. In his hands was a cylinder jar full of a greenish white paste. After the ointment was spread a new layer of bandages went on.

“There, all finished. I do have some bad news though. Your grandmother Dorea wasn't able to come. Apparently Henry's wife is making a fuss and so she's still in France babysitting your cousins while Henry's wife Katarina drags her husband around Japan for the next month. Oh I despise that woman." Narcissa scowls as begins to guide me to another room. Said room having several teenagers within it. Draco immediately spots me and bounces over. Almost literally, it seems like he already had too much sugar. He looked good in his pale blue polo shirt and jeans with gray sneakers.

“Hadrian! You're early!" The blond cheered. He proceeded to drag me to his group of friends. Consisting of three girls and two boys our age. The first of the two males had wavy brown hair that fell softly at the bottom of his ears, his dark blue eyes staring me down. He wore a cream colored button up short sleeve shirt and dark gray jeans paired with white sneakers.

“Hello. I am Heir Theodore Nott of House Nott." His voice was soft and slightly raspy, as if he didn't speak often. The next boy spoke, his skin dark like chocolate and his dark hair buzzed close to his head. His violet eyes shimmered with curiosity. His dark purple silk button up shirt, black dress pants, and black dress shoes suited him.

“I would be Blaise Zabini. It's nice to meet you." Voice velvety and suave sounding, I wouldn't be surprised if he could con a nun into buying a dildo. The image of it nearly had me laughing but I resisted. The blonde girl spoke first after. Her hair was a more natural blonde compared to Draco's platinum blond, her eyes a crisp icy blue. Her clothing consisted of a blue off shoulder short sleeve, black skirt ending under her knees, and silver flats.

“Greetings. I'm Heiress Daphne Greengrass of House Greengrass.” Her voice is soft and cold. No doubt because she just doesn't know me yet. The brunette next to her had bottle green color eyes and seemed to vibrate in place. The pale green sundress swishing with said vibrating, the white flats paired were slightly grass stained. The other girl next to her snorted in amusement, her pug-like face scrunching a little. Her black hair hung in a bob and dark brown eyes appeared almost black. She wore a dark green dress shirt with a black pair of dress pants and dragonhide boots.

“I'm Heiress Pansy Parkinson of House Parkinson and this bundle of energy is Heiress Tracy Davis. Don't mind her puppy-ness." Her caramely voice explains. At her side Ms. Davis gave a pout as the rest of her friends giggled with laughter.

“It's a pleasure to meet you. Draco mentioned you all in his letter yesterday, it's nice to put a face to the names. My name is Hadrian Potter-Black, Duke of houses Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw and Lord of houses Potter, Hawthorne, and Peverell.” I introduced myself. I kept things to myself of course, something even Aunt Cissa suggested. As it was, the five teens look flabbergasted at what they were told.

“Oof. That's a train wreck waiting to happen. The famous Harry Potter not who we thought much less where we thought he was. You're going to be shaking things up from now on aren't you?” Blaise snickers. I only gave the teen a sly smile before handing Draco his gift. The blond then in turn put it with the rest of his gifts to be opened later.

Conversations for the next hour until more people arrived were light hearted. Mostly just the group of us getting to know each other. Things like where I'd gotten my corset vests, what house they were in at school, favorite school subjects, etc.. Eventually we were interrupted when Lucius walked over to whisper in Draco's ear. Turns out Draco's other guests were here, the party was beginning.

“While Draco greets his guests I'll introduce you to our parents. Keep you busy, ya know?" Blaise said cheerfully. The dark skinned teen was definitely a … unique character. Dragging me over to a group of adults chatting with Auntie Cissa the teen immediately introduced me in an excessive way. As if he wasn't introducing me but the king of France. The dark skinned woman with violet eyes and long key black hair pulled up in a bun to accent her royal purple off shoulder mermaid dress, only gave a snort at her son's antics.

“I would be Blaise’s mother Countessa Victoria Zabini. As you already know Lady Malfoy may I introduce Lord and Lady Parkinson, Lord Nott, Lord and Lady Greengrass, and finally Lord Davis.” The woman's voice could kill a god, swear. It was smoother than a caramel sauce and I'm pretty sure that was Veela allure I felt coming off of her. I was suddenly grateful that I was immune.

“An absolute pleasure to meet you all. I hope you're having an amazing day." I say, a charming smile on my face.

Draco's birthday party seemed to drag on for several hours. The number of people I spoke to had blurred together by the time Narcissa decided it was time for Draco to open his presents. The massive pile floating over with the help of one of the Malfoy family house elves. He started with the gift his parents got him, a Firebolt, and moved on from there. From books, shirts, two bags of candy?, to a new wizarding chess board made with specialized stone pieces. The last one he pulled into his lap to open was mine. Pulling the wrapping paper off, he opened the box to pull out the three dimensional stained glass dragon. As he held the little figurine though it started to move, shaking itself and stretching like a cat just waking up. Draco's head snapped back up towards me.

“This is so cool! Does he have a name?" The excited blond asked. The opal claws of the figurine dug into the teens clothes as it climbed onto Draco's shoulder.

"No. He's for you to name. If it helps I had him modeled after an Antipodean Opaleye dragon. He can't breathe fire since I didn't think your parents would like that but he can breathe out a red colored smoke.” I laughed softly.

Draco's birthday party was overall fun. I'm glad he liked my gift. It was also nice meeting his friends, it'll be good to know more than just Draco come the beginning of the school year.

Chapter 3: Chapter Three

Chapter Three

Two weeks passed faster than I desired. With me getting nowhere in locating just where Sirius was and working on my project. Now I was standing tired, regretting, and overall exhausted outside of Gotham airport at almost nine pm. Instead of taking an international portkey I took the muggle way of an airline. Despite sitting in first class there was an obnoxious brat sitting behind me, kicking and screaming almost the entire plane ride here. I was wearing a similar outfit to when Auntie Cissa had come over, with a black long sleeve button up shirt, black silk tie, corset vest, dress pants and my heeled dragonhide boots. The exception was this corset vest was a deep emerald green. My earrings were just simple black diamonds and a rose piece still selected for my tongue piercing. Long black hair braided so the ends wouldn't tickle the back of my knees. Sure I looked fabulous but I felt dead. Deader than dead.

A car honk startled me, an excited yell following the honk.

“Haddy! Over here!" Grayson called. The six foot male was practically hanging out of his car window. Black hair falling in his face and blue eyes wide with joy. I sincerely hope he and Barbara Gordon kept me coming here secret. An instant bombardment of siblings would be a nightmare. I'd like to actually meet my father and not get swept away.

Approaching his dark blue Subaru I noticed the red haired woman in the passenger seat. She actually looked similar to the picture of Lily Evans I found, well besides the fact she had glasses and a giant mass of freckles dotting her face. And of course the wheel chair strapped to the Subaru.

“Hello Grayson. And I assume you would be Barbara Gordon? It's a pleasure to meet you. Shall we head off now? I have a splitting headache and feel like I'm about to drop dead.” I grumble to the pair. Both adults snicker and I hear Gordon mutter something about me being similar to Damian.

"With how late it is we'll head to Barb’s apartment. Introductions with the fam can wait until we're properly alive tomorrow.” Grayson chirped cheerfully, gaining a dark glare from me as I buckled into my seat. Giving the childish man no response I rested my eyes as he started the engine. The low hum of the vehicle soothing me as we cruise through the city. Twenty minutes through traffic and winding roads we arrived at Gordon's apartment complex. With Gordon confined to a wheelchair she was on the ground floor so we thankfully hadn't had to track up any flights of stairs.

Upon entering the small apartment I unshrink my trunk and open it to its own apartment compartment. Cherry's displeased hissing greeted me as she slipped up the ladder and to my shoulder.

§Those pests you call Isa and Knox refuse to let me sleep! Always trying to play with my tail. At least that blasted bird leaves me alone.§ Cherry hissed in an annoyed tone. I smirked, Cherry wasn't a big fan of the two long hair Siamese kittens I bonded with last week. The two kittens were typically calm but as soon as Cherry was nearby they'd refuse to leave her. It was as if they thought the snake was their mother, which was an amusing thought. The bird Cherry speaks of is my Snowy owl, Hedwig.

§They're only small hatchlings Cherry. Don't be so hard on them.§ I hissed in reply. To my left Gordon gave an exhale of awe.

“Oh wow. His red scales are so pretty. What's his name?" The red haired woman asked. Her fingers twitched like she wanted to reach out to pet Cherry. The thought made me smile.

“She's a Red Bamboo Rat Snake and her name is Cherry. Since her scales are more cherry red than anything. Deeper into the apartment compartment of my trunk are three others. Isa and Knox are Long haired Siamese kittens and Hedwig is a Snowy Owl. I've known Cherry the longest however. You can pet her if you want. Be warned she has a bad habit of sleeping in places she's not supposed to be. The amount of times I've found her inside of my shoes seems to be endless.” I chuckled fondly. Both Grayson and Gordon laugh as Cherry winds herself around Gordon's arm as she practically begs for more scratches. It takes ten minutes to pry Cherry away from Gordon so we could go to bed. Ten minutes of Cherry demanding she stay near the red furred female for scratches. When we finally headed down into the apartment compartment of my trunk I paused before turning towards Grayson one last time.

“I did my research before contacting you, Grayson. I know very well you and the others do at night. If you are going tonight be careful. I don't need my new brother to die before we can properly get to know each other.” I practically ordered him. Not giving him a chance to respond I slid further down the ladder towards the center of the apartment. I was exhausted and needed sleep.

Waking the next morning to someone knocking on the face of the trunk, I shuffled around the dress for the day. My usual boots, leather pants, and a loose long sleeve button up shirt. I'll just keep the same jewelry as yesterday and since I don't have a tie I'll slip on an emerald necklace. I let Cherry wrap around my shoulders and then I feed Isa and Knox. Hedwig was last as I needed to let her out to hunt. Grayson lets out a whistle as he watches her fly off.

“You weren't kidding. Snowy white she is," Grayson says, "You ready for today kiddo?” He continues as he throws his arm over my shoulders while being careful of Cherry. I scowled at him, he was likely trying to cheer me up but his grin felt mocking.

“As ready as I can get. Shall we get breakfast or would you like me to make it?" I asked. I didn't quite care which he chose but I hoped to make breakfast as an excuse to delay our departure. Grayson seemed to pick up this tidbit and denied me.

“Alfie is making everyone brunch. He does this every sunday. I told him to set an extra plate but didn't tell him who. So your reveal is safe, baby snake.” Grayson reassured me. The only hint of my disappointment was a small scoff.

“Whatever Grayson. Let us be off." I scoffed at him. Gordon laughed from place at the front door and chided us to hurry up.

“Didn't I say you could call me Dick?" Grayson whined from behind me as we trekked to his vehicle. I couldn't help the recoil that went through my shoulders.

“Absolutely not! It's either Grayson or Richard. I refuse to refer you to the male genitalia." I scoffed at him. Gordon snorted in restrained laughter. The engine started and Grayson continued to pout as we made our way to Wayne Manor.

“Well if it helps you can call me Barbara. Even if just to get on Dick’s nerves.” Gordon laughs from the passenger seat. Grayson let out a squawk of betrayal. The sound bleating out like a dying animal. It was atrocious but led to playful banter between the two adults.

The lighthearted atmosphere helped pass time and before I knew it we were at the manor. The tall Gothic Victorian building was gorgeous. It's dark stones drawing me in like a moth to a flame, it was a dark stone like that of Fay Castle. I loved it already. As Grayson pulled Gordon out and into her wheelchair the front door of the manor opened. The elderly man who was clearly the famed Alfred Pennyworth greeted the three of them with a gentle smile and a curious look.

“Good morning Master Richard, Miss Gordon. And of course our guest, would you care to introduce us, Master Richard?” Mr. Pennyworth greeted. I snorted a bit.

“Good Morning Scion Pennyworth. My name is Hadrian Thomas Charles Potter-Black. I believe you knew me when I was a babe?" I said, tone curious. The only hint that Pennyworth was surprised was the slight tension increase of his shoulders. The man's gaze seemed to pierce Grayson’s very being.

“You're certain it's truly him?" The man questioned sternly. Grayson gave a nervous laugh.

“I wouldn't have brought him here if I wasn't, Alfie. Come on, let's surprise B.” Grayson chirped. Gordon laughed before rolling up the ramp and into the manor as Grayson nervously stared Pennyworth down. The elderly man sighed before he led us into the front entrance of the manor. The interior design was more modern than the gothic Victorian of the outside. Leading us through a couple halls we entered the dining room, the table filled with various people. One of whom I recognized as Father, another as Leslie Thompson, another famous healer.

“Master Bruce, Master Richard is home with Miss Gordon and a guest. Someone who I believe you'd like to know." Mr. Pennyworth shared. I resisted the urge to shuffle my feet as I watched as my Father turned to look at me. His blue eyes visibly widened and he pushed his seat back at an alarmingly fast pace. It falls to the floor with a loud thud that draws everyone else's attention.

“Those eyes… Hadrian?” Father breathes out in disbelief. The man with the black hair with a white streak choked on his water.

"You mean your first son Hadrian? …. Oh shit his eyes are identical to the picture you showed. Bruce, you need to stop having dead sons come back to life!" The man who choked on his water demanded with a laugh. Grayson told me that the only ones that knew I existed was him and Jason Todd, so I presume this was Jason. The range of emotions on everyone's faces varied but most were shocked.

Father seemed to tiptoe towards me, as if I were an illusion that would disappear should he startle me. As he stood before me I had to crane my head upwards to stare into his eyes, the man was a good six foot four inches tall while I was still only five foot four. In my head I grumbled at how tall everyone I was related to was. Even Draco had six inches on me, standing at five foot ten. Cherry hissed from my shoulders as Father cupped my face in his hands.

“Dumbledore told me you had died with Jacque. Where did he have you?” Father murmured softly. I visibly winced, thinking of the time I spent with the Dursley family.

“Until I was six I stayed with Lily's sister and her family. Since I didn't know of you at the time I ran away I holed myself away at Slytherin Keep after.” I uttered just as softly as he did. His face hardened and his blue eyes grew cold. He pulled his hands away and clenched them into fists.

“Petunia? He left you with Petunia Evans!" He roared. I flinched as he momentarily reminded me of both Elijah Gaunt and Vernon Dursley. The Asian woman with short black hair and dark brown almost black eyes noticed my flinch, immediately standing up and gliding over to pull me in a hug. I tensed up as she did so, not having anyone hug me before. Aunt Cissa had made the motion to do so before but had been pulled away by the tension she saw in me. The woman before me now seemed to instinctively know that I needed it anyways. It took a couple minutes before I relaxed and hugged her back.

“Ah, I'm sorry Hadrian. I didn't mean to alarm you. Why don't we all sit down for brunch. You can get to know your siblings and the others we consider family. Afterwards we can head to the family room to discuss everything." Father sighed as he moved back to the table and pulled his seat back up. The woman that was hugging me pulled me towards the extra seat next to her and could hear Grayson pout that it was his seat from behind. Despite his pout it seemed he didn't care as he pulled up a seat next to the young boy that I assumed was Damian.

“From what I understand the only ones Father told of my existence was Grayson and Todd. So for those that don't know I am Hadrian Thomas Charles Potter-Black, on my shoulders is Cherry." I introduced myself cordially. The woman I recognized as Leslie Thompson visibly looked startled and her eyes darted towards the lichtenberg scar that ran from the left of my top forehead to the middle of my cheek, running through my eye. She pressed her lips tightly together but didn't say what she seemed to want to say. Grayson laughed nervously at the tension he sensed.

“Alrighty! Introductions. Starting in order to the left of Bruce. Lucius Fox and his son Luke. Cassandra Cain is the one that is pretty much holding you hostage. Next to you is Timothy Drake. Stephanie Brown. Duke Thomas. Jason Todd. Damian is next to me. Then there's Barbara as you already know. Her dad, the Police Commissioner, James Gordon. And of course our lovely Leslie Thompson.” Grayson chirps dramatically and points at each person as he says their name. The majority of people here just rolled their eyes at his dramatics.

“Father, I demand to know why we weren't told of him. I was told that I was your only blood son!” Damian demanded impatiently. Bruce winced at the tone his youngest had. I could see the dread within Father's eyes, he wasn't enjoying the subject Damian brought up.

“Yeah Bruce. Why didn't you tell us?” Drake questioned. He was giving me a doubtful glare, he was clearly aware of the ‘Harry Potter’ play that Dumbledore told everyone.

“When Hadrian was about thirteen months old I was called back to Gotham for an emergency. An employee was stealing from the company, the firing and lawsuit against said employee took two months. When I arrived back in Britain I hurried to Godric’s Hollow. Only I found it in shambles, the roof where Hadrian's nursery was had been blown out and the wards had fallen. On my way to the Ministry to find out where or if Hadrian and my husband had survived I was intercepted by Albus Dumbledore. He told me that a mutual friend of ours, Sirius Black, had betrayed us and Voldemort had found the house. I had lost both my husband and my son on October thirty first, one of the reasons I don't celebrate Halloween. I… I couldn't stand to stay. I ended up traveling to finish my training then returned to Gotham.” Father said, pain in his voice. For a movement silence fills the air as Pennyworth delivers food to everyone and the information is digested.

“Figures," I scoffed cruelly, “If Dumbledore hadn't got to you before you arrived at the Ministry you would have found out that I was alive. He's had the entire British Wixen world believing that both my parents were dead and that my name was Harry James Potter. Of course the bastard would lie to you as well, he can't have his pawn taken away, out of his grasp after all."

Everyone at the table watched on as I grumbled hatefully under my breath. Father looked absolutely agonized at knowing he fell for Dumbledore’s ploy. It didn't help that Leslie Thompson looked sad as well. I took a deep breath to anchor myself.

“After the events of October thirty-first where both my Bearer and Godmother died, Dumbledore took me to live with Petunia Dursley. Petunia being my godmother’s sister. For the five years I stayed there I was pretty much a slave. I lived in a small shoe cupboard underneath the stairs, I cooked breakfast and dinner, and I had an entire list of chores that if not done by the time Vernon Dursley was home from work I was beat. I didn't even know my name until a teacher said it at school. It wasn't until I was almost six that I ran away. I've lived in Slytherin Keep with the house elves ever since.” I say sullenly. Father's expression is thunderous, he's completely furious. I can see it on the expressions of nearly everyone in the room.

“A quick question for those that don't know. What are house elves?” The blonde girl, Stephanie Brown, questioned.

"House elves are a magical being that are immensely devoted and loyal to the person or family they serve. The bond between Wizard and elf keeps the elves alive. If the bond didn't exist their magic would be unstable and they'd literally explode.” Father says calmly, clearly the subject change helped calm him.

The rest of brunch was filled with light chatter as those that didn't know of the Wixen world interrogated Bruce and I of said world. Every once in a while Pennyworth or Mrs. Thompson added something but other than the few times they let the others interrogate us. Brunch past by and before I knew it Cain was pulling me by my hand as she and the others led me to the family room. The only ones that did not join us were Lucius and his son Luke along with Gordon's father. Leslie Thompson leaves as well with an excuse of her clinic needing her.

Cain pulled me into her side in a beanbag chair, carefully letting Cherry to slither to the window ledge nearby. Drake threw on a movie for background noise and we all settled down, if a bit awkwardly. I wasn't used to being touched like this. Being touch starved as I was though I seemed to melt in the older woman's embrace.

“Why don't you tell us how you've been doing lately. You're in your fifth year at Hogwarts, yeah? What house were you sorted into?" Father asked from were he was sitting on a couch with Grayson and Damian. I laughed nervously at the question.

“None. I won't be attending Hogwarts until September this year. With my suspicions I hadn't wanted to attend if I couldn't defend myself properly. It's worse now that my suspicions were correct but at least I'll be able to defend myself. Both physically and mentally, I won't let Dumbledore dictate anyone's life anymore.” I insisted.

“Ah. I don't know how to feel with you being alone there but I know with McGonagall you'll be fine." Father sighed. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion, did he not know? Did Damian not have signs of accidental magic?

“Well if you're not sending Damian to Hogwarts that's fine. But I warn you that Ilvermorny will not accept him if they find out he's an Al Ghul.” I told my father. The man blinked in surprise before looking down at Damian.

“But Damian isn't Wixen. He hasn't displayed any signs of it.” Father says, confusion colors his tone. Damian himself seems to mutter something under his breath.

“According to the ITR I took at Gringotts two weeks ago Damian is a Wixen. The only other people that have magical blood are Grayson, Drake, and Thomas. As for not displaying accidental magic he might just have immense control over it.” I said thoughtfully. Next to Father Damian gives a scoff, crossing his arms and giving a pout.

“Of course I have control. Besides, Mother says magic is useless. I don't need it.” Damian says in a haughty tone. Father sighs as he rubs his temples in annoyance.

“We'll speak one on one about this later Damian." Father grumbles. “You turn fifteen soon, Hadrian, have you claimed your lordships? What about studies? Which subject do you like the most?” Father practically babbles now, desperate to get to know me. My cold and vindictive thoughts about him before have been unwarranted it seems.

“Yes I have. I've also taken up my Duke rings and Kingship. As for studies, I've been all over but my favorites have to be Runes and Potions." I said. Everyone in the room falters for a movement.

“Kingship?" Todd croaks shocked. I gave the man a snort of amusement.

“Yes Todd, Kingship. I gained the crown of Le Fay. So I rule half of the kingdom of Avalon with whoever King Pendragon is. I also gained the rank of Duke for houses Slytherin, Gryffindor, Emrys, and Ravenclaw. My lordship houses belong to Potter, Peverell, and Hawthorne. I also have a knightship from my godmother's house of Evans and then the heirship for house Black.” I watched as everyone came to be more flabbergasted at my titles. It was highly amusing.

“Wait, what about House Wayne?" Grayson stuttered. I raised an eyebrow at him and directed my gaze to Damian.

"I suspect the family magics liked Damian more. So he's to be Heir Wayne.” I said blandly. Honestly it was obvious, why couldn't they tell? Cain seemed to sense my irritation at Grayson and pulled me even closer to her, the warmth she radiated letting me melt into her. I wasn't used to affection but if this is what it felt like I wasn't ever letting go.

After a week of staying with Father I'd finally loosen up to more than just Grayson and Cain. The more I got to know them the more at home I felt. However this couldn't last forever, I needed to get back to Britain. I'd gotten a letter from Aunt Cissa that the so-called Dark Lord and his other devotees were at Malfoy Manor. Lucius and Narcissa were entertaining them for now but if I wanted to solve this issue it had to be now. I just had to tell Father I'd be away for a day or two. I would be fine. So why was I trembling? Why couldn't I knock on his office door? Surely I wasn't scared? I couldn't be.

All thoughts flew out as the door to Father's office opened. Todd stood there instead of Father, though I could hear Father behind him. The elder man blinked in surprise before giving me a grin.

“Hey Snakelet. How are you doing?” Todd says. I gave a glare at the nickname usage but his presence helped calm me. Gently nudging him back into the room I faced Father at his desk.

“I have business back in Britain but I should be back in a day or two. I have an international Floo connection in my trunk so it'll be quick. Figured I should let you know when you don't see me but my stuff stays.” I told Father as calmly as I could. Father frowns but doesn't say anything for a moment. Todd seemed to know Father's thoughts before I did because he spoke first.

“Why don't I go with him? That way he's got some safety.” Todd suggested. Father hummed before his shoulders slumped. He'd given in.

“Alright. But only if Jason does go like he suggested. I've heard rumors about a war brewing over there. Stay safe." Father demanded. Warmth flooded me with his words. I gave a grin towards Father and dragged Todd towards the room Father gave me. Ignoring Todd's questioning looks I opened up my trunk to the apartment compartment.

“Wow, that's going deep into there. Just where does this ladder lead too?” Todd muttered from behind me as I slid down. His shocked cursing comes next as he lands in the apartment, his disbelief bringing an amused smirk to my lips. As much as I wish to savor this moment we couldn't just stand here. I forewent changing out of my maroon turtleneck sweater and skinny jeans with dragonhide boots, instead just summoning Gryffindor’s sword and handing it to Todd.

“I also suggested keeping your concealed gun, unconcealed. If Father asks what we did . . . this did not happen. I don't need him worrying about this." I demanded of my older brother. The man's teal gaze narrowed as he clasped Gryffindor’s sword to his left side waist.

"And what exactly are we doing that requires violence?” He sneered. The dark haired man crossed his arms and tried to look like he was disappointed. It wasn't working, within seconds his lips were twitching and he burst into a grin. At this point we'd reached the Floo room.

“We're confronting a Dark Lord technically but I don't anticipate much from him or his lackeys since we do have allies there. It's the conversation with my godfather and the Order of the Phoenix that is happening after that troubles me. There's a chance that Albus Dumbledore will be there and I want to be prepared." I said, grabbing a handful of the Floo powder and pulling Todd closer to me in the fireplace. He let out a whistle as I threw the powder down and green flames started up.

“Malfoy Manor!" I called out and let the bright green flames whisk us away.

Exiting into the Floo room at Malfoy Manor, Draco greeted us with a nervous look. His gray eyes darkened with worry as he led us silently to the room Lucius was with the Dark Lord and his death munchies. Draco, my wonderful cousin, was shaking as he tried to open the door. I laid a hand on his shoulder and gently guided him away, telling him to head to Blaise's place for now. I'd tell his mother or father to give him a call when it was safe. I opened the door myself and strutted in, watching as the room went silent.

“Uncle Lucius, I went ahead and sent Draco to Blaise's place. And I'd like it if you would send that list we'd discussed by the end of the week.” I started as I rolled up my sleeves, voice echoing in the silent room. It was barely two seconds later before the so-called Dark Lord burst.

“HOW DARE YOU! YOU FILTHY MUDBLOOD, WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Riddle practically screamed. I gave the snake-faced man a scoff, only giving him a dismissal look and turning back to Lucius.

“I have one last name to confirm then I'll pass it on to you, Duke Slytherin.” Lucius purred. It was a clear power play to let my Slytherin title known right now, Lucius picked up on that quickly. Good. I could see Riddle practically steaming smoke from his faux throne at the front of the room. The maledictus by said throne gazing hatefully at me.

“Fraud! There's no way you're Duke Slytherin and not my precious Dark Lord!" Bellatrix Lestrange screeched. Multiple people cringed at her shrill voice including my brother and I could spot a rat like man flinching. Peter Pettigrew, oh this was a wonderful day. I thought with a cruel grin.

“Jason. Do you see the rat-like man over there? Shoot him in the knee or foot, would you?” I asked sweetly. He curled an eyebrow at me, I haven't ever used his given name. I saw him pull out his pistol and swiftly shot Pettigrew twice in each knee cap. The gunshots were loud and Pettigrew’s screams louder.

“Thank you Jason. Finley! Take Pettigrew and place him in an anti-Animagus warded cell in the dungeons of Fay Castle.” I called. The traitorous rat disappeared as Bellatrix was still screaming in outrage nearby. I supposed it was time to address her, she was bound to shoot spells any second. With a flick of my wrist the shrill woman was silenced.

“Honestly woman. There's no need to kill our ears. We heard you the first time you said it. If you must know why your oh so precious Dark Lord isn't Duke Slytherin then I'll tell you. I warn you that you won't like it, many of you in this room won't like what I have to say.” I sneered at the woman as she was pointing her wand at me. Just as a sickly green color spell left her wand Lucius had drawn his own wand and bound the dark haired woman tightly, with myself conjuring a stone pillar to dispel the killing curse. The dreadful woman was thankfully still conscious, I still needed to witness her response to her disownment. I strutted to her and crouched before gripping the bottom of her face, piercing her insanity driven silver eyes with a mean smirk and fury blazed avada green eyes.

“First things first though. I have a promise to keep." I purred cruelly, “Bellatrix Walburga Lestrange nee Black. I, Hadrian Thomas Charles Potter-Black, disown you from the great house of Black. I renounce your marriage to house Lestrange. I strip you of all family magic. I do this as Heir Black; I do this as the family magics have deemed you unworthy. You, who willingly, chose to bow to another. We Black's do not bow to others, we make them bow to us.” I chant, my voice doubling as the family magics gleefully join in. I let go of her and let her fall to the floor. My own magic spread throughout the room, becoming dense and actually visible to the human eye. It's emerald and gold color licking the walls and floors like flames. The death munchies that liter the room swaying as they are suddenly found intoxicated by my magic. Bellatrix's face falls to that of horror and she shrieks so loud that it breaks the silencing spell. Her body jerks as her hair grays and her magic weakens as the Black family magics are ripped apart from her, the pain must be excruciating. She stills after a minute as she passes out from said pain.

Everyone breathes in deeply as I bring my magic back in and Todd pulls me into his side. His face is gleeful and he looks as though he just won the lottery. I ignored it for now, it could be addressed later.

“As for you Thomas Marvolo Riddle Jr.” I sneered at the man. He clenched his wand, his very useless wand, in anger.

"That's not my name.” The snake-faced man grit out.

§Nagini! Kill him!§ Riddle hissed. The maledictus, Nagini, darted towards me.

§Now. Now, Nagini. Credence wouldn't want this of you, would he?§ I hissed to Nagini. She froze inches from me. Riddle screamed in outrage as Todd had taken Nagini’s freeze motion to his advantage and swiftly cut her head off. A scream sounded from a wraith-like creature that erupted from her corpse before it dispersed. Her death meant the end of all of the horcruxes. All were gone now.

“No! My Horcrux! Nagini!” Riddle shrieked like a banshee. He tried to throw several killing curses but all simply dissolved into nothing as the Gaunt curse came into play. No Gaunt could harm a Slytherin.

“Indeed. This is the price for defiling magic as you have, Riddle. You were so scared of death you shattered your soul in order to try to achieve immortality. Even if I hadn't destroyed all of your horcruxes you would have died. All it did was make you unable to enter Hades' realm, you would have forever been lost to the ether. You were lied to, manipulated, and you suffered. I'm sorry for you but I refuse to let a maniac poison magic as you are. Horcruxes should never exist. Don't worry about Dumbledore though, he shall follow you in death soon as well. The steps to his downfall have begun. Goodbye.” I mused softly and with a flick of my wrist his head was rolling off to the side, his body falling the opposite way. Several of his supporters shouted in horror. I could only deadpan myself, I expected at least one of them to curse me but none did. I gave Lucius a nod that he understood before he led my brother and I, along with a dark haired man, to the Floo room.

“I barely got to use this sword." Todd pouted, his arms crossed. I turned around and kicked him in the shin for his comment, I didn't need him jinxing our next meeting.

“I apologize for my brother Uncle Lucius. If you'd like, I can deal with your mark now before we leave." I breathed. Lucius only gave Todd a look of amusement before reaching over and gripping his friend's wrist. He pushed the sleeve up and exposed his forearm with his own, showing off two gray dark markings.

"If mine is done so shall Severus’. It'll be one less thing that Dumbledore can hold over him.” Lucius said. I paused for a second to study Severus, one of my godfathers. His hair was a dark inky black that fell about his neck, his face narrow and paired with a hooked nose, dark brown almost black eyes, and he wore entirely black. Black robes, black shirt, black pants, black shoes. It was like he wanted to not blend in the shadows but be a shadow.

"A pleasure to meet you, Godfather. I'll warn you both it might sting a bit but it shouldn't be painful.” I told the two men before taking their arms in my hands. Magic flows through my fingertips to dance across their skin.

§Leave. Your purpose is done.§ I hissed, using parselmagic. The marks darken for a second and wither making both men flinch. It doesn't last long however as both marks disappear completely, leaving no hint it was ever there before. Severus nearly tumbles and Lucius himself sways as they feel the high that came with my magic. I still couldn't quite understand that.

“Sleep, both of you. I have to go now but owl me when you wake. I'd like to know how you feel after waking." I said gently. The two men couldn't even answer me and only nodded. Retrieving a handful of Floo powder I pulled Todd into my side again.

“Twelve Grimmauld place.” I called out, the usual green flames whisking us away to a much different Floo room. The room was dirty and dust seemed to visibly build up in little towers. The sound of an elf popping in greeted us next. It's hateful beady eyes glaring at me.

“Youz not welcome in wonderful Black home. Kreacher demands youz to leave.” The ill house elf spit out. I glared at the wretched elf and pulled on the family magic again.

“I am Heir Black, elf. Speak to me like that again and I'll clothe you." I grit out spitefully. At this the elf seemed to visibly show fear.

“Clean this house for heaven's sake. It's filthy, how dare you let a home belonging to house Black become like this. You are to behave from now on, do you hear me? Behave yourself." I snapped. The elf fearfully got to work, the threat of freeing him still hanging over his head. Todd gave the elf a wary look but let me lead him through the filthy building. The faint voices leading us to the dining room, where upon entry had several wands pointed at us. Todd's response was to point his gun at them, the click of the safety turning off, was soft but made several people flinch. I scoffed at the idiots, one I recognized as Mad Eye Moody, before scanning the group. Andromeda Tonks was here, good. I'll do that first then. I walked around the table and stood in front of the light brown haired woman, her light gray eyes gazing at me warily. Her wand wasn't pointed at me but she still stood her guard, ready to move at moments notice.

“Andromeda Tonks nee Black. I, Hadrian Thomas Charles Potter-Black, welcome you back to house Black. I do this as Heir Black. I apologize for the actions of the foolish Lady Walburga Black, who had no right allowing Cygnis Black to disown you from the family. I welcome your daughter and husband. I welcome you and wish you well. Welcome home Andromeda Tonks nee Black, Daughter of House Black.” The family magics and I said. The woman started to cry before engulfing me in a hug. It took me off guard and I nearly fell over when she did so. The long curly black haired man nearby gave a sharp breath of disbelief.

“Hadrian? Jamie's boy, Hadrian?" The short brown haired man with scars on his face breathed. Sirius Black-Lupin and Remus Lupin-Black. My blood adopted father and godfathers. I gave the two a nod before giving Todd- -Jason. Jason, a look. He still held his gun up at Moody, who also had his wand up still.

“Jason. You can put the gun down.” I deadpanned to my brother. He frowned and kept his aim towards Moody.

“As soon as Pirate Bulge Eye over here lowers his wand. I told the old man I'd keep you safe and with what I've heard about him… Well he's lucky I haven't blown his head already.” Jason snarled. I frowned, it seemed he had information I didn't. I'll have to get it late but for now; my eyes turn towards Alastor Moody. A flick of my wrist and my magic binds the bind into a chair with a ball gag, his wand now stuck to the ceiling. Jason un-tenses after this, putting his gun’s safety on then placing it on the table in easy reach. He then sits down in a chair and leans forward to stare intently at Sirius. The man in question squirmed in his seat.

“You sure this is your godfather, Haddy?" Jason questioned. Sirius snarled at Jason in offense.

“Of course I am! Who are you supposed to be?" Sirius snarled. At his side Remus flinched and put a hand on his shoulder.

“Sirius Black-Lupin and Remus Lupin-Black this is one of my brothers. Jason Todd-Wayne.” I made sure to emphasize on the Wayne part. Sure enough both men froze before snapping to Jason.

"Wayne? Brucey took in others?” Sirius looked betrayed. Remus gripped the table.

"Yes, Sirius. He did because that's what his damned bleeding heart does. I now have a horde of siblings and only one is blood related. Don't worry though, he never really moved on from Ayeh. He tried but couldn't.” I snapped at my godfather. Sirius sank into his seat as one of the red heads seemed to gain some confidence and interjected.

“While this is an entertaining reunion, could we at least do some introductions and try to continue our meeting? Headmaster Dumbledore should be here soon.” The red haired man murmured softly. He seemed the eldest of the red haired men that were gathered.

"From your red hair I take you're a Weasley?” I inquired with a quirk of an eyebrow. He gaped at me for a moment before answering.

“Ahh, yes. Yes, I am. Arthur Weasley, just call me Arthur. My sons’ by me are William and Charles Weasley." The now named Arthur said. Failing to see any other red haired men besides the three I frowned.

"You would be the father of Fredrick and George Weasley, yes? Are they also here?" I questioned softly. Arthur tensed at the names of two of his other sons.

“They are indeed my sons. I wasn't aware they'd made friends with you already. But they're upstairs right now since this was supposed to be an adults only meeting.” Arthur answered. The very idea of my soulmates being this close to me induced a feeling of euphoria within me. I could feel my very being wanting to race up those stairs to search for them. Were their hair just as vibrant of a red? What color were their eyes? Their personalities? I shook my head to chase those temptations away. There wasn't time to meet them today. Perhaps another day. I looked back towards my godfather slash blood adopted father.

“I have Peter Pettigrew in my custody, so he'll be in the hands of Amelia Bones by tomorrow. I suggest you get ready for your trial soon.” I told Sirius, his face lighting up. As does Remus’ and several others in the room.

"I have another stop before the ministry though so Jason and I should be leaving now. Especially before Dumbledick gets here, I would prefer not to confront that man right now.” I sighed tiredly. Andromeda’s daughter and Sirius snicker at my insulting name for Dumbledore.

"I'll have the old man send you a letter or something." Jason grumbles as gets up and strolls out of the room, dragging me along. I didn't protest, I just gave my goodbyes to the people in the room.

Immediately getting to the Floo room we took the Floo to St. Mungos in London. The blinding white walls and the lime green robes of the Healers being the first thing we see. Jason visibly shudders at the site of the hideous robes.

“Their robes are brighter than the Joker’s hair. So gross." The teal eyed man grumbles in disgust. I gave him a snort of amusement as I led him to the front desk. The woman behind it had short bob cut brown hair and amber brown eyes. Her face was a bit… pug-ish? She was definitely a Parkinson.

“Greetings Miss. My brother and I are here to visit both my Godmother and see how my uncle is since he was admitted two weeks ago. Would you tell me the room numbers for Alice Longbottom and Regulus Black?" I charmingly said, a soft smile on my face. The woman gave a dark flush before looking through her database of index cards. She pulled out two and handed them to me.

“L-Lady Longbottom is in the Janus Thickey Ward with her husband in room J-Six-Eighty-two. Mr. Black on the other hand was moved to the short term ward in room C-Two-Ninety. May I get your names for the log book?” The woman stuttered at first.

“Ah, yes. My name is Hadrian Potter-Black Duke of houses Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw with me is my older brother Jason Todd-Wayne. Scion of House Wayne.” I answered softly. The quill in the woman's hand breaks as she snaps to look back at me. Her amber brown eyes wide with shock. I could only give her a soft smile as she gathered herself and put us in the visitation log book. At my side Jason snickers at her flustered and shocked expression as we made our way to the closest of the two rooms, Regulus’.

Just like the rest of the hospital his room is a blinding white however unlike the last time I was here he was awake. Looking remarkably like Sirius with his long curly black hair and silver eyes, except Regulus didn't look a day over twenty-five. As he hadn't aged while stuck within the stasis lake that held thousands of inferni. I had found him within a cocoon of his own magic in the Lake when I searched for that damned locket. And while it hadn't been there he had been. The goblin's and I ended up having to use a summoning ritual for that Horcrux, something we ended up doing for the rest sans Nagini.

“Good afternoon, Regulus." I said as I sat at his bedside. Jason himself stood guard at the door. Regulus looked on at me in confusion.

“I'm sorry, do I know you?" Regulus murmured softly. I could only imagine how confusing this was for him. His, technically, nephew was visiting him yet he didn't even know said nephew existed because to him it was still nineteen eighty eight.

“My name is Hadrian. I'm James and Bruce's son. And also Sirius’ through blood adoption. You remember them right?" I questioned. He looked so heartbreakingly sad at this moment.

“Jacques had a son? And Sirius? I- I have a nephew." The man croaks out sadly. Silver eyes weld up with tears as he hastily pushed himself into a more comfortable sitting position.

“What year is it??" Regulus frantically demanded as the situation dawned on him more. Both Jason and I winced.

“The year is two thousand and five. And before you ask, I've dealt with Voldemort, he's dead.” I told the man gently. Regulus’ face fell in despair.

After having comforted Regulus and spoken with him on what he'd do once he was released from the hospital I removed the dark mark I’d carefully hidden. Uncle Regulus was immensely grateful and promised to keep up with Aunt Cissa’s healing regime once he got to their manor. After spending the hour with him Jason and I made our way to the Janus Thickey ward to visit my other godmother. Opening the door to her and her husband's room found us staring at a blond boy that was sitting in between the two beds. The teen’s hazel eyes were panicked and he had hastily sat a herbology book down to shakily point his wand at us. He was most likely my god brother, Neville Longbottom.

“At ease, Heir Longbottom. I would be your god brother Hadrian Thomas Charles Potter-Black. Besides me is my second eldest adopted brother, Jason Todd-Wayne.” I spoke calmly, showing my hands in a sign of peace. Neville shakily put his wand away and smoothed out his white button up shirt out of nervousness.

“D- didn’t D- Dumbledore tell everyone that y- your in A- Asia?” The blond teen stuttered out. Next to me Jason glowered at Dumbledore’s name, still obviously pissed at the elderly man.

“So he has and yet I'm not. The man's a fraud and a manipulative bastard. That's not why I'm here though. A little over an hour ago I disowned Bellatrix from House Black, so the curse she used on your parents should slowly unravel in the upcoming week or so. If you need anything, Heir Longbottom, anything at all just send an owl my way.” I said softly to my god brother, whom’s entire body seemed to collapse into his chair. A hopeful gleam brightening his hazel eyes as his hands immediately went to grasp his mother's still hand.

Faint as it was, bound in with spells and potions most likely, I could feel Neville’s magic simmer in a silent rage. A rage I knew damn well as pointed at Bellatrix. Neville shakily gave me a pointed stare, determination set in his eyes.

“Did the disowning kill her?” Neville asked, his voice cold with his rage towards the woman. I gave Neville an unknowing shrug.

“She most likely is but maybe not. I made sure she didn't get to keep any family magic, whether it be Lestrange or Black so she's either dead or reduced to a squib. I’d been more focused on killing Voldemort at the time.” I told Neville calmly, leaning against the entryway with my arms crossed. Neville’s eyes widened with this information and he seemed to deflate like a popped balloon into his seat with relief.

“That's good. Especially since Headmaster Dumbledore had been trying to convince me to use the God family bond magics to locate you. What are you going to do next? And school, will you finally come to Hogwarts? I'd like to get the chance to get to know my god brother, ya know?” Neville asked with a somewhat shy grin. I gave my god brother a huff of amusement and a sly smile.

“After I finish talking to you I'll be headed to Fay Castle. I used a lot of heavy duty family magic and feel like I've been put through one of those juice squeezers. Tomorrow however I'll be headed to the Ministry to hand over Peter Pettigrew and properly speak with Madam Bones. But yes Nev, I'll be attending Hogwarts. My younger brother as well, it'll be his first year.” I said softly. Next to me, leaning against the wall, Jason snickered in amusement. Neville flinched at the sound, as if he forgot the older man was there.

“Fifty bucks on the Demon Brat getting into Hufflepuff. With those animals he takes in he's gotta be a Puff.” Jason says determinedly. Over in his seat I could see Neville worriedly mouth ‘Demon Brat?’. I shot Jason a cold glare, my green eyes bearing daggers at my older brother.

“Damian would eat the Puffs alive. He’s caring and loyal, yes but his ambition and cunning nature will see him into Slytherin. I'll take you up for that bet and raise the stakes for the fifty bucks and that recipe for those Moroccan cookies you made last week.” I grinned towards my brother, my mind thinking of those delicious cookies. Jason hummed thoughtfully for a moment before holding his hand out.

“Alright but if I win I will get your Blackberry Tiramisu recipe. Shake on it.” Jason demanded. I narrowed my eyes at the teal eyed man but shook his hand to seal the deal.

“Uh… that's great? If he does make Hufflepuff I'll be there to help him. And I know Tracy in Slytherin would look out for him in Slytherin.” Neville stated, still somewhat confused.

“That's good. In the meantime I suggest you get an ITR done at Gringotts. I can feel the binds placed on your magic.” I told the blond teen as I righted myself into a proper standing position.

“A what?” Both Neville and Jason uttered quietly.

“An Inheritance Test Ritual, ITR. It shows everything you need to know. Things like what House lines you're able to inherit and if you have illegal binds on your magic it'll show up on the test as well. Just remember to use Goblin etiquettes when speaking to them and you'll be fine.” I informed him softly. Neville shakily nodded and gave his mother's hand another reassuring squeeze before standing up and joining us by the door.

“Alright. Yeah, I should definitely do that. I'll walk with you guys to the Floo room so you can tell me all about the Goblin etiquettes because I don't actually know any.” Neville said, grinning shyly.
