Chapter 1: My love, are you the devil?
Chapter Text
Giyuu’s eyes focused on the slayer before him. Tall, broad, and plenty intimidating.
His own cobalt blue meet deep purple which stare at him. He can see the conflicting thoughts in them, the unease, the desire.
He reaches a hand up, nails digging into the stone he held himself on, pulling himself further out of the lake. Water glides down his desaturated blue skin, the spotty-stripes flicking with bioluminescence lighting, flashing the slayer’s face with silver-blue colors, illuminating his perfectly framed face.
He settles with his stomach and chest pressed against the stone below him, his arms now loosely holding himself up, his long tail dangling just a tad below him, mostly still in the water.
“You’re here to do your job, aren’t you?” He said it in the tone of a question, but they both knew it wasn’t. Michikatsu was here to kill him, at least that’s what he’s supposed to do.
Finally, Michikatsu’s mind returns to his body, and he forces his posture to straighten. He opened his mouth to speak, but his mind blanked.
“You’re.. beautiful.” Michikatsu muttered before he could even stop himself, he felt his face warm a little in a mix of embarrassment and want.
A small smile graced Giyuu’s lips, and the sight of it made Michikatsu’s heart stutter in his chest.
It’s just his blood demon art. I’m falling in his trap, Michikatsu tried to tell himself, tried to ground himself, but he couldn’t. His mind spun in a whirlpool of conflicting thoughts and emotions, but the most prominent ones were the ones telling him to hold this beautiful, perfect demon close, to his kiss soft lips, to hold him by the hips-
“You’re not bad to look at yourself, Michikatsu” Giyuu’s words broke him out of his thoughts, the demon pulled himself further up until his bare chest was no longer pressed on the stone, holding himself up with only his hands, his long and slender tail now coiling around the protruding boulder like a serpent curling around it’s victim.
The way Giyuu stares at him, like he’s some delectable steak prepared in only the finest seasonings, cooked medium rare..
“You know, Michikatsu” The demon began once more. “For a Hashira, you seem to be having quite the trouble killing me, don’t you?” He tilted his head slowly to the left, the bulb lure attached to his forehead twitched, flickering with light, as did the rest of his markings.
“This is the 5th time you’ve come to kill me, and you haven’t even gotten around to unsheathing your katana. I’m almost starting to believe you just.. want to see me?” Giyuu teased, his pointed fangs poked out from under his lips.
Michikatsu can’t help when his mind wanders, wondering what it might feel like for those fangs to sink into his skin, to taste his blood..
He forces the thought down. He’s supposed to take this demon’s life. This demon who has slaughtered hundreds- if not thousands of innocent people.
“Nor have you. You’ve had every opportunity to kill me, yet you do not even attempt to attack..” Michikatsu thought out loud, earning an amused hum from the siren’s lips.
“Well, darling,” Giyuu started. That nickname made Michikatsu’s breathing hitch. “You’re quite entertaining, I must admit. Perhaps you’re not the only one who simply enjoys the company of the enemy?” Giyuu tilted his head to the right now, slowly extending further, leaning closer to the Hashira.
“I do not enjoy..” he hesitated “..your company, demon.” Michikatsu stated, clenching his fists, but his body was quick to relax when Giyuu’s hand, faintly damp and soft when he reached for the slayer’s shoulder, sliding across the fabric of his haori, then uniform, until he got to the small amount of his neck uncovered, and to his cheek.
“I know what you really want, Michikatsu.” Giyuu slowly pulled the Hashira closer, and Michikatsu couldn’t find it in himself to resist, simply allowing himself to be moved.
“I see the way your eyes trace my body. Or perhaps you think I wouldn’t notice? Do you think you’re sneaky, when you glance back after claiming you’re leaving?” Giyuu drapes himself over the Hashira, both arms resting over his shoulders, body suspended between the human’s frame and the boulder he rested on.
Giyuu was so close, their faces hardly inches apart. It took more self-control than Michikatsu would ever admit to stay still, his mind plagued with traitorous thoughts.
“I know not what you speak of.” Michikatsu’s eyes narrowed just a bit, but they both knew that was a lie. He wasn’t entirely sure why he bothered denying it anymore, perhaps it was pride, or some lingering sense of loyalty to the corps..
“Then prove it. Shove me off of you, kill me, right now.” The demon insisted, his tail slowly slithering off the rock to now perch on the Hashira instead. “End this tonight. I won’t stop you, Michikatsu. You’ll be able to tell all of your friends and colleagues that you killed Uppermoon 4.”
Michikatsu’s hand was settled just beside the hilt of his katana. He could do it, he could grab it and take this demon’s life right now.
But he never does. He never moves to grab it.
Michikatsu’s hands move to the demon’s hips, and he mentally curses himself for not doing this sooner. He never expected the demon’s skin to be so.. irresistibly soft.
He trails one hand up to the demon’s back and finally settles on his shoulder blades. Giyuu’s own hand, webbed and with sharp claws, tangled into Michikatsu’s long, dark hair.
“Giyuu..” Michikatsu’s voice was hardly a whisper. “You’re.. irresistible.” The words left his mouth feeling like honey, sugary sweet but thick and sticky.
Giyuu let his lips grace Michikatsu’s jaw with a soft hum “I couldn’t possibly think of better words to describe you, Michikatsu.”
Michikatsu felt his skin burning, but in such a way he hoped it never stopped. His grip on Giyuu’s frame tightened, and finally the end of the demon’s tail coiled around the Hashira's legs, curling so tight it pulled them both together and Michikatsu toppled backwards, pinned under a demon who could kill him effortlessly.
“Look at you.. the strongest Hashira, he who invented his own breathing style.. trapped under a demon. And you don’t even resist” Giyuu spoke low into Michikatsu’s ear, clawed and webbed hands tightening in his hair, one trailing down to his shoulder and arm.
“I could kill you if I wanted to. Isn’t that right, Michikatsu?” Giyuu hummed, letting them come face to face again. “I could tear your throat out and taste your flesh. Certainly you’d be a meal I’d never forget.. but that’d be such a waste, wouldn’t it? To gobble you up all at once?”
Giyuu’s hand moved to unbutton half of Michikatsu’s uniform, sliding his haori and button-up off his shoulders before leaning back down, his fangs gleamed under the moonlight and reflected his own bioluminescence, which glowed brighter than Michikatsu has ever seen it.
Giyuu’s tail coiled tighter around the Hashira, practically squeezing the life out of him like an anaconda. But he couldn’t stop this if he tried.. he doesn’t, though. He doesn’t want to stop this.
Michikatsu felt a chill run down his body when Giyuu’s fangs grazed the skin on his shoulders, taunting him.
Giyuu traced his tongue over Michikatsu’s skin, coiling tighter and tighter around him, not bothering to care for how he was literally crushing Michikatsu.
He’s strong, he can handle it, Giyuu tells himself. He was confident in the slayer’s strength, he won’t be harmed by some squeezing.
Michikatsu’s nails dug into Giyuu’s skin at the feeling of the demon’s tongue dragging against his shoulder, his face and neck warm and flushed a vibrant red. He’s dreamed of this feeling, and he hates that those dreams always center this exact demon.
Finally, Giyuu presses his canines to Michikatsu’s skin, sinking them in until the Hashira’s warm blood spilled out, and the demon greedily licked it up as it flowed.
Michikatsu tightened his jaw to stifle the sounds that threatened to leave his throat, his heart rate spiked and his breathing stuttered, his entire body felt much too warm under the Demon’s cold skin.
To Giyuu, it didn’t matter if Michikatsu was or wasn’t marechi, his blood was addictingly sweet. He savored the flavor, planting a second, third- and even a fourth bite just to taste more of him, but he eventually decided to leave the slayer alone.
Giyuu’s vice-like grip on Michikatsu’s entire body loosened and he unraveled, sliding back and off of the slayer, closer to the water.
Michikatsu felt he couldn’t move for a few moments, simply dwelling in the experience that stopped all too soon. He wished it would’ve gone further, but he can be patient. He can wait until Giyuu wants to take it further.
Slowly, Michikatsu sat up, and he noticed his nails were faintly coated in crimson blood. He hadn’t even realized he was clawing Giyuu hard enough to break skin, but he didn't bother feeling bad. He knows it won’t affect Giyuu in the slightest.
He watches as the demon slinks backward, back towards the water. “You taste sweet, Hashira” Giyuu commented with a sly grin.
“I’d love to taste you again soon” was the last thing he heard of the demon before he turned and slipped back into the water, the surface hardly disturbed. He watched the demon’s long tail slowly trail back into the water, until he was completely gone.
Michikatsu simply stared for a moment, before he slowly stood to his feet. Reaching into his uniform, he took out some bandaging and wrapped it around his shoulder, covering the four bite marks Giyuu had left him with.
Once he was bandaged, he buttoned his uniform and fixed his haori, before he slowly turned and walked off.
He’s coming back next week..
Chapter 2: I would worship you instead of him
Summary:
“I’ve been expecting you, Michikatsu” Giyuu was the first to speak, pulling himself further onto the shore, his eyes never leaving Michikatsu’s even when he had to tilt his head up to keep up the contact, even when his chest, neck, and chin pressed against the Hashira’s leg.
He looks like a dog begging for attention.
He is a dog begging for attention, if you think about it long enough.
Chapter Text
Michikatsu doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing.
Well, correction, he does know what he’s doing, but he can’t for the life of him figure out why he’s doing it.
His katana isn’t at his hip like it usually is, and it feels like he’s walking right into a trap that he can see as clearly as fireworks.
The night’s air was cold, silver moonlight shining down on him through the gaps in the trees, each step he took on the path littered with both dry and fresh pine needles crunched under his sandals.
He hated the fact that he was looking forward to seeing a fucking demon. But not just any demon, upper fucking four.
“I’d love to taste you again soon.” Those words alone have haunted him this past week, the phantom feeling of that siren’s fangs pierced in his flesh, that tongue lapping over his skin..
Just thinking about it now made him feel warm despite the chill in the air, he walked just a little faster without even thinking about it.
When the all too familiar lake came into view, he could see the demon without even having to search. Giyuu was laid perched on a protruding stone, basking in the moonlight like a lizard in the sun. He could see the demon's stripes, illuminated bright.
He didn’t even have to speak for Giyuu to notice his presence. He watched the demon slowly slide into the water on his back, watched his tail slide against the stone and eventually dip back into the lake.
It took no longer than 10 seconds for Giyuu to emerge right before him, his hair wet and his stripes blinking.
For the first time in months, Michikatsu couldn’t find it in himself to argue, to deny what he came here for, why he came here.
He knelt down until they were nearly level with each other, and Giyuu wasted no time in draping himself over the slayer, just like he did last time.
“Bold now, aren’t we, Michikatsu? Have you had a change of heart lately?” Giyuu taunted, his arms wrapped around Michikatsu’s neck.
Michikatsu felt a stirring in his stomach. Perhaps he is feeling bold.
Michikatsu’s hands wrapped around Giyuu’s hips, one hand tracing lower until it was just below where his hips transitioned into his tail, and he pulled the demon ever so closer, until their chests were pressed flush together.
He could feel Giyuu’s tail pulling closer, snaking it’s way around his body, and he didn’t even consider for a moment to fight it.
He stared deeply into Giyuu’s eyes, watching as they almost- no, as they did swirl like a slow-moving whirlpool, but he didn’t need to be hypnotized to obey whatever Giyuu wanted him to do.
“Giyuu.” His voice was breathy, his grip on the demon’s hip traced up his side.
“You needn’t your blood art to control me. Whatever you wish for me to do..” he paused for just a moment.
“I will do it.” He shifted quickly, moved until Giyuu was the one under him, he could feel Giyuu’s tail fin draping over his back.
For just a moment, Giyuu was stunned, his eyes opening wider, the swirl of his irises ceasing.
Then, he smiled. “My, Michikatsu, you truly are bold tonight, aren’t you?” I can’t say that doesn’t excite me, Giyuu told himself.
Michikatsu had grown impatient. He didn’t want to wait anymore, not after a week of waiting to see Giyuu again.
Michikatsu leaned down quite quickly and pressed their lips together, receiving a sudden startled inhale from the demon, who quickly melted into the kiss.
Michikatsu let himself relax as the kiss deepened. His tongue slowly slid into Giyuu’s mouth, and he finds he doesn’t mind that he tastes like blood.
Giyuu whined into Michikatsu’s mouth, already growing impatient. Giyuu was never a very patient person, but neither was Michikatsu.
With a need for at least a little privacy, Michikatsu slowly stood, parting from Giyuu’s lips for just a moment as he walked closer to the lake, closer- until he was a little more than waist deep. He didn’t much mind the cold that came with the water that now soaked his pants. It wouldn’t matter soon.
Giyuu glanced away from the slayer for a moment, pointing off somewhere “There’s a cave over that way” he said, looking back towards Michikatsu, hanging on to the slayer. Michikatsu moved swiftly, making his way over in the direction the siren had pointed out.
The cave had no actual flooring, at least none that wasn’t completely in water, which he didn’t really mind.
He lowered to his knees. Giyuu let his tail uncoil from Michikatsu’s frame, letting himself lower onto his back, only half of himself submerged.
Michikatsu leaned down again, reconnecting their lips. It wasn’t any less euphoric than the first time, but they were quicker to allow each other into their mouth, tasting each other like their lives depended on it.
Giyuu whined and squirmed, his tail splashing up a little water onto Michikatsu as it curled towards him then straightened again.
When they part for just a moment, Giyuu grumbled a short “hurry up” before reconnecting his lips with Michikatsu’s, keeping their lips together as if more than a few seconds apart would cause him to crumble into dust.
Michikatsu can already feel his pants straining, so he decided not to make Giyuu wait too long.
He sat up on his knees for a moment, moving to undo the golden, crescent-moon engraved buttons of his uniform, though Giyuu was clearly much more impatient than he initially assumed. The demon leaned up and grabbed at Michikatsu’s front, simply ripping the buttons off. “You can get new ones” the demon declares, moving to tear at the undershirt Michikatsu wore as well.
Michikatsu did not stop him.
In the meantime, he unbuckled his belt, discarding it towards the shallower water that way it wouldn’t drift away into the lake, his uniform, haori, and undershirt went with it.
Giyuu pushed Michikatsu’s pants down for him, pulling the Hashira down onto him while laying back again. The warmth shared between them grew hotter and hotter quickly, and Michikatsu couldn’t be more thankful that this was happening in the cool lake..
Michikatsu wasted no time in inserting himself into Giyuu’s folds, the demon below him whined and squirmed, the end of his tail thrashed behind them, splashing barely reaching them.
Giyuu’s stripes and bulb lure glowed bright, brighter than it had yesterday, bright enough to illuminate nearly the entire cave. He whined and huffed while Michikatsu drew back and pressed forth again.
The warmth within Giyuu was almost overwhelming, or maybe Michikatsu was just overwhelmed in general. He felt like he was taking this too quickly, or maybe too slowly? He can hardly tell anymore.
Michikatsu can feel Giyuu’s insides, warm and sopping wet, clenching around him. The way he slid in and out of the demon felt like heaven on earth.
For maybe just this moment, it felt like nothing was wrong, like nothing has ever been wrong.
It all felt right, like what he was doing was right, like bedding with a demon- an uppermoon was right. Like he wasn’t actively betraying everything he was taught in the corps, like he wasn’t putting his dick into something that has killed and eaten probably thousands of humans.
None of that mattered anymore, not when Giyuu moaned and whined so beautifully and loudly underneath him, not when he took him so well.
“M-michi!” Giyuu’s nails dug into Michikatsu’s shoulders once he set a proper pace, the water around them splashed with the Hashira’s fervent movement.
He leaned down until his chest was pressed against Giyuu’s, his lips collided with Giyuu’s, pulling the demon into a heated kiss. His strokes grew sharper, one hand gripping so tight into the demon’s hip he might bruise, but it didn’t concern him.
The moment they parted, Giyuu’s mouth latched onto Michikatsu’s shoulder, fangs sinking into the Hashira’s skin. He eagerly licked up the blood that leaked from the two small punctures. Michikatsu moaned at the feeling, at the sharp ache. It felt all too pleasing for someone who’s job revolves around not being bitten or scratched by demons.
Michikatsu decided to return the favor, his teeth clamping around Giyuu’s throat, almost like he was trying to gnaw the demon’s neck open. Blood welled heavily in his mouth, the coppery taste much too sweet on his tongue.
Giyuu moaned out loudly upon feeling Michikatsu’s teeth dig into his flesh, his head fell back a bit too sharply onto the submerged stone beneath them. It was all so much, he couldn’t even think anymore.
“Mich-michi- i-“ Giyuu could barely speak, his words wet and breathy. Michikatsu eventually removed his mouth from Giyuu’s throat, and he watched the blood rush out of his mouth and into the water, he watched the demon’s neck knit itself back together effortlessly.
Before Giyuu even got the chance to try to speak again, the tight coil in his stomach practically tore him open, his cunt squeezing Michikatsu like his life depended on it. His fingers tightened on Michikatsu’s back, nails digging into his skin until blood welled, his tail thrashed until larger splashes almost entirely drenched Michikatsu.
That final clench sent Michikatsu over the edge just after Giyuu, and he spilled into the demon’s folds, pressing his hips flush to the demon’s and letting himself finally still.
They both huffed and heaved for breath. Clarity finally came to them both, and Michikatsu was tired.
Although the Hashira was completely exhausted now, Giyuu was just fine. The demon allowed Michikatsu to lean onto him, watching as the slayer’s eyes threatened to close while he pulled himself towards the Hashira’s discarded clothes, grabbing them and draping them over the slayer for at least a bit of modesty.
Then, he simply let himself float on the lake’s surface, Michikatsu still laid on his stomach. He hummed a soft melody to the slayer, lulling him to a comfortable rest.
Giyuu’s glad he finally has someone to simply be around, who sees him for more than his title, more than just the monster he is..
