   Summary

   Thomas and the Sides have left Vault 24, where they woke up to discover that Thomas's entire life had been a simulation. The sides are real, physical beings, clones who've been altered with various means and DNAs for reasons they still don't totally understand. Thomas is human, but still connected to his Sides in a psychic capacity, for better or for worse.

   Now they're in the Mojave Desert, trying to find a way to fix the broken simulation-housing servers of the Vault so they can go home. But you know what they say about post-war America.

   (This is the second work in the series, I recommend reading the first work if this one intrigues you. Because Thomas and the Sides don't know anything about the world of Fallout, the fic is framed in a way that's friendly to reader who don't know anything about it either!)
