A broken Script.

Summary:

An accident is usually a bad thing, but not this time
what if...
something changed as a result
an event involving the Change God derails the original plot of this tragedy

* aka. An AU, where Loop never existed, or at least never gave up.

Chapter 1: The Incident.

Chapter Text

You fell

It was unexpected,
You were about to reach the rest spot right before The King,
Stopping to pray to The Change God - you wonder why your party doesn't pray to the broken ones.

"Siffrin!" You hear The House maiden and the rest of your party Yell as you trip and fall onto the statue.

YOUR VISION FADES TO WHITE!

"OW OW"

huh, what was, weird voice - you think internally.

"Oh come on I'm not a weird voice Siffrin! : |"

"Then who are you, and how do you know who I am?" -you ask the voice

"; ] you should know who I am, after all you fell into MY statue, it probably broke... but no matter It'll go back NEXT LOOP."

You process the thoughts gathering through your head, and collect the pieces, oh of course.
'You're The change God?'

"DING DING DING"
the voice responds with a bell sound indicating the guess was indeed correct

"To be Honest I never thought you were, real, no offense", you comment

"No offense taken," says the change god before changing their normally silly tone into a more serious
"but only given how much pity I feel for you... trapped dying to the same adversary over and over... While your actions are frankly appalling leaving your friends in the dark... The King is the one I'm more hateful towards. He keeps you here, unable to find a solution to The Loops."

What are they getting at?... you think before the Change God proceeds.

"I may usually abstain from direct interference - however you clearly have no way within your self-imposed rules to win. So I guess I must guide you out of the Loops myself, even if just passively and if you need to chat again just touch any of my statues next Loop."

You are taken off guard... help? that won't do much, maybe earlier you may have accepted a bit of help as the key to everything. Now you reluctantly accept after all it's something new

"UWU, Oh and and, You got Memory of me!! to summarize It'll help you against the King."

.
.
.

AND THAT WAS HOW YOU FIRST MET THE CHANGE GOD.

Chapter 2: After the incident >_<

Summary:

Do I really have to sum a whole chapter...?
I'll do it later in an edit
maybe
probably not
don't count on it

Chapter Text

"Siffrin!" - your actors shout, to them you just spaced out?
did you even really fall to begin with?
was it a daydream... Regardless you OPEN YOUR EYES

"Lets get a move on, we don't have much further till The King" The House maiden says trying to keep up moral.

"Hey maybe we shouldn't rush Sif. The more faith I guess the better?" you hear The Fighter say in retort.

"Yes, but I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving everything to superstition" You hear The Researcher say.

"Yeah Dile's right, we get to kick The King's crabbing but ourselves" You hear The Kid say.

* You all get a move on, And stop at the safe room

Your Party is about to speak... you have heard this all before...

[YOU STOP LISTENING]
You know you should care, The Change God is against th- if they really were the real Change God, but it saves time,
You will have to check, see if the memory you supposedly got is still there, what it does and if you really can speak to them again.

.
.
.
NEXT YOU'LL have to fight The King.

Chapter 3: Vista La Revolucion

Chapter Text

YOU STAND BEFORE THE KING

Your party are about to speak.
You decide to cut them off.

"Lets get straight to the point" - you say impatiently.

"Aw I had a whole speech prepared as well" - Your Fighter says

BATTLE START!

(you feel protected)

"Okay everyone-" Your researcher is interrupted by The Voice of The King, not the first time you heard his melancholic broken yet firm voice.
"Oooooh I'm afraid it shall not be so easy to defeat me!"

THE KING CLOSES HIS EYES. you see a vision into the future!

1250 damage. You survived, somehow you survived, for the first time ever... You notice the shield - is that what the presence of that memory did? If that's true you'll have no trouble this time. It'll be easy.

You realize if things are going off script like this, you don't need to hide your (Just attack) skill for this fight. You can go all out.

" We survived it." - Your researcher says a bit surprised.

"Oooooh...YOU... YOU ARE STILL HERE, Then I suppose we must fight to the death then" You Hear the King speak, confirming the obvious.

You Start Off by boosting the speed of your party with 'Make up the Time'.
Then have your Fighter boost the party's defense.

You don't worry enough to have anyone boost attack - you already Used 'Healy Beely' on everyone before the Fight. So instead you have your Housemaiden heal you all.

Next having your researcher slow The King Down.

On your next turn you pass your turn to your researcher - maximizing the damage output of 'Paper a V'.

Then Your Fighter passes his turn to you, and you use (Just Attack) On the King.

You have enough time Before The King's next turn to have your Housemaiden use a super effective paper skill.

Then Just as you thought The King shakes off Slow and strikes, it doesn't hit that hard - thank Change for that memory.

In your next move you use 'Knife to meet ya', Luck is on your side today(if it really counts as a day anymore) and you deal 3 consecutive criticals

Then your Fighter uses 'I'll protect you' boosting his stats.

Your Housemaiden Uses a basic attack. mediocre damage - faster charge up.

finally Your Researcher uses 'Paper II'

And Then The King tries to Freeze you in time, but it fails, thanks to the Sheild

Your shield then after suddenly wore Off... but you didn't notice.

You use 'Knife to meet ya' again, only 1 crit but The King is at 75% HP.

"Ooooh I'm afraid it will not be easy to defeat me" - The king repeats... You know what comes next you'll know you'll survive this after all the Shield is still up right?

Wrong, you notice it is absent,
you notice last second as The King closes his eyes and you now see a vision into the future...
you took 9999 damage.

.
.
.
.

GAME OVER

Chapter 4: Another rehearsal

Chapter Text

You had died to the King another time - then looped back again
The Change God's help had only delayed the inevitable right?
Maybe its time to ask them for further guidance.
It could work

After getting the first crest you touch the first Change God statue and....

BRIGHT LIGHT SWEEPS INTO YOUR VISION

"OH you took my offer. Well then what can I help you with this terrible new Loop?"
"
How do I survive The King's attack? The Shield wears OFF" - You say

"Ah yes it was obvious that memory wouldn't be enough. You need a proper shield spell to stand any chance while you continue to pursue 'perfection'. You're Housemaiden can learn. You need to learn where to look."

"Where?" - YOU ask

"Check the library, every nick and cranny, there may be something - a crack, a switch, a book. to lead to your victory. CHOP CHOP."

You followed the advice given and get to the library

You Pull the appropriate faces while your Housemiaden finally gets the resolve to learn the craft skill to save you all from being Frozen in time.

"yeah the hero we need" - your fighter speaks up.

You ignore them all, and quickly search through the books, you find the crest but keep searching - nothing...

One Book gives you a headache but you put it back before anyone can comment.

You search the cracks of the wall until - behind the frozen librarian - you find a hidden switch

CLICK CLICK.

"Huh Siffrin, how did you?" - you hear your party exclaim in surprise

"I just did" - you comment as a passage opens and you walk through

The Passage only has a Sadness in it, before a door to a new room - You've heard of these, Open phrase doors - You say the word 'CHANGE'.
The Door comes open and You step through.

You find on a shelf the Book in question - Sheilds.

Your Housemaiden begins to speak, this is new - "Hu this book talks about the carrot method"

The Housemaiden learned 'Adorable moving shield'.

The carrot method huh, if you were to remind your housemaiden every loop, you could get the shield skill nigh instantly.

.

.

.

And that is how You first found the shield skill.

Chapter 5: Power of Friendship? successful regicide.

Chapter Text

You Stand before The King

now having gotten straight to the point again and surviving the first OKO attack AGAIN.

you might win this, actually having a shield spell.

You hit hard - no holding back, and "(just attack)"

It crits and the rest of your party follow-up - The Fighter with a defense buff, The Housemaiden using a paper attack, The researcher casting slow on The King.

The King gets no chance before it is your turn again, you pass your turn to the researcher who then casts a powered up 'Paper II'. you're being careful with timings - saving 'paper a Vii' for just before The King's next OKO attack.

its a few of your party member's turns again - you have The Housemaiden and the Fighter guard to reduce the damage they will take from The King's next attack.

The King shakes off slow and strikes. Your Fighter and Housemaiden are less harmed than the rest of you - your prediction payed off.

your turn again - you use 'Knife to meet ya', luckily dealing 3 consecutive critical hits.

Then its your fighter's turn - you have him pass his turn to the researcher and have her use 'Paper A v', The King is visable scraped now, KEEP GOING.

You have the Housemaiden cast 'adorable moving shield' to stop the shield wearing off.

You get 1 turn now, you know 1 more hit will be the King's next OKO, so you heal using a super sour tonic. Then The Fighter uses a basic attack.

AND NOW THE CUE! "Oooooh~ I'm afraid it will not be so easy to defeat me!!!"

The King closes his eyes - you see a vision into the future... everyone took roughly 125 damage"

"You... are still a...alive? Very well we shall fight to the death then" - The King's dialogue washes over you

You and your party carrying on attacking, you use 'Knife to meet ya', dealing 2 critical hits and 1 normal hit.

You have your fighter use the defense boosting skill, and your housemaiden refresh your attack boost, then your researcher cast 'Slow' on the king.

On your next turn you use 'Make up The Time' speeding you and your party up.

Your Fighter uses 'I'll protect you' boosting his own stats.

Your housemaiden uses a basic attack - your waiting to pass your turn to her inorder to boost her 1 paper skill.

then your researcher uses a basic but still super effective paper attack.

You're next again - passing your turn to Your housemaiden, and she uses a paper skill.

Then The King shakes off slow and strikes.

Now its Your fighter's turn, you have him pass his turn to you and use '(Just Attack) '

50% 50% you can feel it, the King is halfway beaten - just a few more brutal hits and finally this will ALL be... finally over.

You get an idea, calm your nerves and concentate your craft

NEW SKILL UNLOCKED

[You learnt 'sharp Breath', when used you may either breath in and out yourself for a stat boost, or instruct a fellow 'actor' to do the same [4 turn cooldown for other party members, 3 turn cooldown for self].]

You used 'Sharp Breath', your stats boosted.

You then outspeed everyone again, and pass your turn to Your researcher, and have her cast 'Paper II'

The King is breathing exhaustedly from the relentless beatdown, His sweat dripping down, merging with new tears as they freeze mid air.

your kid speaks "Why are you crying, you hurt so many people who will never move again if we don't defeat you, you don't have the right to cry."

Your housemaiden then recasts 'Adorable moving shield', you know the king could have too much at any point and kill you all in an instant if this shield isn't up. Besides it also gives you all immunity to frozen so rather be safe than sorry.

The tears try to freeze you, but its basically a turn waste.

Then your fighter passes his turn to you, and you use 'Knife to meet ya', you pray to the universe hope that you'll crit 3 times, and you do. all 3 hits connect with the tear instantly defeating it.

The King Slows you down, the shield blocks out slow.

The Researcher casts 'Paper a v', Now the king is on somewhat low HP 30%? 25%?

[And CUE enraged fit] - the change god telepathically announces that in your ear.

'Ooooh, why won't you listen to me, poor lost children can't you see I only want what's best for you... and if you won't obey, YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN MY WORLD' - The King exclaims.

You don't give in out of fear.

The King closes his eyes, YOU SEE A VISION INTO THE FUTURE, you took 125 damage.

Your Housemaiden speaks "Listen to someone as single minded as you KING? no, We want to change, to grow as human beings."

Your Kid speaks "yeah, you're just a dumb idiot baby who froze the county in time for idiot baby reasons!!"

YOU speak " well guess there's nothing more to say... all you have to do. IS DISAPEAR!!!"

"DISAPEAR"

"DISAPEAR"

"DISAPEAR"

"DISAPEAR"

YOUR PARTY ATTACK AT ONCE

YOUR ATTACK IS THE ONE TO FINALLY BRING THE KING TO HIS KNEES

' N  O  I I   C A  N  ' T  D  I   S A   P  E   A  R,      N      O        T      W         H               E                   N            I             S              T           I       L      L     C   A              N        'T              S         A        Y          I      T                 S                                              N                                   A                             M                                                       E'

THE SHADES OF THE HOUSE REGAIN THEIR VIBRANCE, FOR A SECOND YOU WERE ALMOST MENTALY CONSUMED BY THE WHITE PEIRCING GLOW.

It's finally over?? - you wonder aloud

'Yeah Sif' - your fighter says reassuringly.

For the first time in forever you are truly happy, you are so happy you stop paying attention as your party walk up and drag you along, this was THE run. Whoever said 3rd times the charm was well off - a million was more accurate.

after that you all reach the top, So the play is now finally over.

You talk to your party, ready to take the final curtain call you then speak to the Head-Housemaiden.

' Oh travelling one, are you done talking to your companions, YES? good good. I'd like to thank you for accompanying young Mirabel thus far. Dormont and the house will always be open to you. come back any ti-'

'NO NO NO. I'M sorry, IT CANNOT BE STOPPED NOW.'

(what?)

'Your going back - back to when you begun all this'

(NO NO, you've got to be kidding me, not now, not when you won) you cry.

she wipes your tears  'I'm sorry but something went wrong, Something's FAILING, Broken, rotting, Its too late to stop it now'

you cry harder, the smell of rotten sugar suddenly goes through the air, chocking you.

'I hope one day you'll learn to forgi-'

GAME OVER

(YOU WON)

START AGAIN <  QUIT

You woke up in the meadow... wha- you don't remember this place.......

Right you spent so long rehearsing the final act you forgot the ones before.

And now you are all the way back in Dormont.

At least The Change God is still there to guide you. Even if this is frustrating you won't give up. Revel in your first victory and all that... but you, even after and during victory Don't remember your party's names.

Enter The Housemaiden,  'Ah Siffrin, were you about to take a nap?'

You respond, 'Yes correct, I was just about to.'

The Housemaiden speaks, 'Right, I don't blame you, we need all the rest we can to fight the King Tommorow'

You nod, lie down, close your eyes, pretend to go to sleep to make her leave you alone

.

.

.

.

.

And that was the story of your first victory and how you looped back to Dormont with no control over it.

Chapter 6: A rundown of events.

Summary:

Siffrin and the Change God run down a summary over what has been found out about the loops so far.
Also Siffrin gets a blessing this loop.

Chapter Text

You touch the large statue of the change God, and Decide to get a blessing before you meet.

This loop you would like YOUR ATTACKS TO HIT HARDER. yeah if you want to beat The King quicker, dealing damage more will speed it up.

You feel actually a bit stronger, not overwhelming but not too little.

then a white glow consumes you.

"well look who's here, won and sent further back perhaps?"

you respond  'yes, what do I do now?'

"Have you tried NOT looping back?... well lets run through, You're stuck in this Loop, now before dying only sent you back a few hours because of your control over the loops, but winning sends you back all the way to the start"

You speak  "and somehow The Head Housemaiden is involved?"

"Right. also you don't remember anyone's names because you spent so long in the last part of the dungeon, Your Housemaiden is Mirabel, Your Fighter is Isabeau, Your researcher is Odile, and your Kid is Bonnie."

you nod,  "thank-"

"I'm not finished. The King mentioned a name he couldn't say. And your party all have problems that remain unresolved in the plot. so you have a few options."

you come to a conclusion and speak, "So I can talk to The King? Solve my friend's problems? See if the Head Housemaiden knows anything about the loops?"

"I wouldn't try The King one but go ahead, the Loop's your oyster, or something like that."

You Nod,  "I'll try everything, but as long as I have goals to work towards I'll be fine"

"Good Mumble Mumble(and I guess now 'IIPon3II's bookmark of this being an SAAP timeline is now incorrect since... the script is no longer needed in its old form and the new floors and skills make this its own verse now)."

You hear the name among the mumbling, "who's-"

"Don't worry, none of your business. Now get back on the stage."

RUDE, you think to yourself, before shrugging it off and going to further put together your thoughts - you'll need a plan on your next course of action, not like you can try all at once.

Chapter 7: Friend quests.

Summary:

Siffrin thinks the power of friendship will give him a shot at breaking the loops, how clueless.

Notes:

First off if you bother reading the notes thanks, second the vote ended in a tie so i'll be proceeding with the friend quest plot in the way I myself decided with all this announcement over WE SHALL BEGIN.

Chapter Text

you started with the house- Mirabel, you already knew what the papers were for.

you sat down next to her.

"Hey Mira, do you need any help with those papers"

She raises her rapier in shock

"HOW, where when why?"

You calmly respond

"I know they're important, most likely-" , You feign ignorance and wait patiently for her to finish for you.

She finishes your statement after only 3 seconds,  "dating profiles, they're dating profiles"

You speak,  "SO do you need any help? advise or anything?"

She responds after a moment of seemingly deep contemplation, "okay Siffrin, thanks"

.

.

You both eventually come to the conclusion not everyone has romantic love or desires to 'Do things', and that that is okay.

[Your housemaiden learned 'Creative Loud Barrage', cooldown 5 turns, this skill is so powerful that if you Loop back to Dormont you must have this same conversation to reobtain it.]

.

You check the skill description before you move on to help the others

['Creative Loud Barrage - deals 3 repeated paper attacks, increased crit chance.]

Next on your list was the ki- Bonnie, you remember they wanted to be more useful in fights, you think having them fight a sadness would be a good idea.

"hey Bonnie, you wanna go out for some training"

they respond, "crab yeah! Lets go kill some crabbing sadness!"

You guide them out and together fight some sadnesses, but this scene being a first take had none of its cues figured out, you tripped and The Sadness was about to strike.

Bonnie saved you tho, Moving you out of the way and healing you before throwing you at the sadness, You noticed just in time to Strike.

[4520 EXP gained, huh The sadness dropped a super sour tonic.]

[Bonnie learned 'Loot those crabs', this skill is so useful it will vanish if you Loop back to Dormont and can only be reobtained by this same quest]

Following this you check the skill description for the new skill

['Loot those crabs' is a passive skill, It automatically adds a tonic or other consumable item to your inventory in the event of defeating a Sadness]

Next on your list was The resear- Odile, you notice from Mira's note that she should be in the shop

You walk inside and talk to Odile, she speaks before you can

"Huh... oh Siffrin I was just checking the books, You don't look very well rested, Tho I guess that is understandable - it is only a day till the potential end of the world."

You speak,  "How can I help you?"

She is about to ask if you are really asking, but soon realizes you really want to help.

"I'm looking for a specific type of book"

"a type of book?"

"yes they're called a familytale. heard of one?"

She was interested in that book later in the House, but it did seem like that wasn't the one she wanted. You do remember the checkout list in the secret library mention a 'Boulangerie borrowing a book', you only noticed it at the corner of your eye when searching but hey might work.

I might know where we can find one?

Odile reacts by immediately Asking you to bring her there to check it out.

You bring her over to the Boulangerie, And ask the Baker, who says someone borrowed it. Your analytical nature leaves you with some time left as asking the daughter immediately leads to getting the Familytale.

You spend a bit talking about your pasts, only for you - you don't remember yours. You cry and cry, Odile gives you a tissue to dry them.

[Odile learned 'Craft Buff: AOE']

When you leave you check the skill Odile learned.

['Craft Buff: AOE' does as the name suggests, buffing the entire Party's resistance to all craft types. has a 5 turn cooldown .this skill is so powerful that if you Loop back to Dormont you must have this same conversation to reobtain it.]

Last on the list is The Figh- Isabeau. He's stood near the favour tree, you don't care about the tree, you're hear to ask what he might need help with.

'Isa'

"sif"

'ISA'

'Sif'

"okay that's enough."

"aw" Isabeau pouts in mock sadness.

Well now to get to the point.

"Isa need any help with anything"

"oh, that's what you were doing, helping everyone, well I do have something I want to do. today, well tonight. have you done everything you needed to first?"

"Yes"

He took you out to see the stars, it felt great, everyone of your allies join, Bonnie brings food, and you all eat a picnic.

You never went to the Clocktower like Mira had suggested earlier today, instead you fell asleep beneath the stars... a bit off script wasn't it? but this way it'd be way easier to beat the King.

[Isabeau learned 'Let's protect eachother', same case as the other skills requires reexperiencing the day to reobtain.]

[the skill 'Let's protect eachother' boosts the entire Party's stats, has a 5 turn cooldown, also has a further bonus to all rock/protection craft used by The party]

[YOU learned 'Team Attack!', unlike the other skills it doesn't require reexperiencing the day to reobtain however it would not be as effective without the party friendship been maxed]

[Team Attack is a unique skill, it does not function on conventional cooldown, instead requiring typed 5 attacks of the same type to be landed on an adversary before it can be used, from there it will take on the craft type of the 5 attacks that proceeded it]

.

.

.

And that is how you and your allies got closer that loop.

Chapter 8: Floor 1 of the house.

Summary:

Siffrin doesn't remember this Floor of the house, but atleast there should be a lack of tears and crests - after all The party didn't know what they were till floor 3 in the last loops right?

Chapter Text

The first hall there were Sadnesses, a good chance to test your party's skills. and then there were the traps.

You narrowly managed to disable the 'Death Corridor' on account of some strange fragment of Deja vu pushing you to be extremely precice.

The next rooms were... hang on there are tears here blocking off the next floor - a full row of 3

This either means 1 of 2 things, The House itself has changed or, your party just forgot about earlier floors when you reached the top. Option 2 seems more likely but hey you could be wrong.

You spot a Class Room on this floor. The door sign says Class Room 0##, the last 2 digits are illegible.

you walk in, the only thing of interest is a notebook, inside is a Star Crest - Find it?

YES

"hey Sif what did you find?"  Isabeau asks, you then shrug it off and carry in down the hall.

Next room of note was...

The Head-Housemaiden's office, amidst the static in the air you smell chocolate, you suppose The Head-Housemaiden must have had a sweet tooth.

"Oh, that's the Head Housemaiden's office!",  You hear Mirabel state.

"Does anyone else smell that"

Bonnie responds, "Yeah Frin's right, that smell, its... CHOCOLATE"

Odile also says something, "Mirabel, was the Head-Housemaiden a chocoholic?"

Mirabel speaks, "well uh, no, at least not before The King attacked. His attack on Vaugarde was so slow that even the press had time to report. It struck so much fear into the hearts of the people that It brought an increase of visitors to her office, resulting in more sweets bought to give out as comfort, but they were overbought it resulted in her stress eating in the last few days."

* As Mirabel speaks, you search the Office draws and find a key and a crest.

As you all exit the room you grab some of the sweets from a shelf, somehow they're not at all frozen.

Then upon exit a row of tears fall from the ceiling, You couldn't dodge that so you sacrifice a crest last second to have you and your party unscathed.

. at least you still have the key.

Next room is a... locked door, with open phrase.

You try out the first thing that comes to mind

Open phrase123

You shouted out, and the door opened. inside the room is some tonics, and... anouther locked door.

Good thing you found this key.

The door combusts into nothingness upon contact with the key.

In this room finally, is a selection of various keys, and 3 crests.

"Oh Siffrin, good catch', Odile says

"Weird, what even was this room', Isabeau asks curiously.

'The House's Spare key storage room, The room was made to be there incase anyone lost a key, for security reasons only the Head-Housemaiden had access'  Mirabel explains

AH, so if you took all these keys you would be able to skip almost all of the puzzles involving keys, and looks like you have 1 more crest than you need from this floor so things will be easy... now all you need to do is get to the next floor.

You get 3 crests out and throw them into the tears, watching as the depressive blockade into the next floor vanishes infront of you.

You all walk, until you reach a Sadness.

You quickly pass your turn to Odile who analyses the Sadness.

-Sadness name: Lament-

Odile,  "a strong sadness comprised of the entire Floor's negative energy? Rock type."

Odile casts 'Paper II'.

Lament strikes! Everyone took damage.

Mirabel cast 'Pretty buffy friend'

Isabeau passed his turn to Mirabel

Mirabel cast 'Creative Loud Barrage'

The Sadness dissolved into nothing after all 3 hits

You WON, you got 19540 XP, Isabeau is now LV 46, Odile is now LV 47, Mirabel is now LV 45, You are now LV 63.

After that you entered the Safe room and sat down, there's re-encouragements, and conversations, but none of them directed towards you alone. Its nice.

.

.

.

.

.

That was all that happened on the first 1/3 of the house in that loop.

Chapter 9: Floor 2 of the House

Summary:

The second floor of the House, Siffrin finds better equipment ready for Fighting The King.

Chapter Text

Unlike Floor 1, floor 2 had no tears, nor locked doors

If you wanted you could have gone straight to floor 3 - you suppose you did so in the first set of Loops

but now you think you'd like to look for anything to help make The King easier to beat.

One of the rooms was a garden, each plant frozen in time, you spot garden scissors on a shelf and equipped it - Sure it will make you slower but it doesn't matter if you originally were the fastest in the party and you still have 'Make Up the Time' to deal with slowness.

You leave the room with your new weapon before the others comment - it isn't stealing if your using it to save the country, incase change is listening lets just call it 'Perminately borrowing a necessary resource'.

With that you move on to another room of interest - more tonics in a cupboard, and a poster/newspaper? On the cover is a picture of The King,  "you mentioned the press having enough time to make several articles during The King's attack?'

Mirabel responds,  "Yes Siffrin. oh you found one."

Odile asks something, "notice anything off about him from the picture?"

"The crest on his armor?"

Mirabel,  "yeah, its the same as the ones we found earlier to deal with weird floating water"

"Maybe we should ask him about it? nothing to lose right?"

Isabeau nods,  "Great idea Sif"

Odile cautiously,  "yes I agree, I myself am curious about some stuff, in fact why do you even call The King, The King"

Mirabel, "Common curtesy, just general politeness"

The next room of interest was a class filled with pottery there were cloves made of paper Mache, You gesture towards them and Isabeau.

"huh, you want me to try them on Sif?"

"... they fit but its a bit tight."

These gloves will make Isabeau's base attacks into paper craft type, meaning The King will be weak to them and it'll help set up your team attack skill if you decide you wanna use it against The King. Overall it not only has those effects but is a bit stronger than Isabeau's normal gloves.

The last room of interest was a forge/Blacksmith, With a light sword, which you take off the wall and hand to Mirabelle, it'll make her faster, which is good for her healing speeds, and shield craft. You ignore the meaningless dialogue coming from your fellow actors, before you also take the sharpening stone and you listen to see if they remembered how you used it.

"huh Siffrin, a sharpening stone." -  You hear Mirabel say, then Isabeau comments

"Sif, didn't you used to use one for your dagger when you carved?"

Then Bonnie comments, "yeah, I remember Frin mumbling 'Please be sharp, please be sharp'"

Odile continues,  "and then when you were done it worked, and better than when you didn't do it"

* yeah, you've heard enough, you take the stone and sharpen your garden scissors gained from earlier. Garden Scissors became - Sharp Scissors.

And now you are ready, ready to go to the next floor.

No floor guardian this time, so you- there is one, The sadnesses in the floor's halls mix together forming a giant sadness.

BATTLE READY! ! !

You cast Make Up the Time.

Then have Isabeau pass his turn to Odile, and have her analyse

name: Massacre.

Type: Paper

Odile description of sadness, "Sadness comprised of many other weaker sadnesses, stole power from the corpses of the ones we defeated"

Following the analysis you have Odile use 'scissors II'.

Following up, Mirabel uses 'Pretty Buffy friend' amping everyone's attack.

Then you use 'Sharp breath' on yourself. the speed boost from earlier stacks letting you get in another turn, in which you use '(Just attack)'. The Sadness looks injured, for a second you almost feel sorry, Sadnesses shouldn't bleed.

After a few turns you finish the Sadness off with 'Team attack', instantly finishing it with a combo.

There is Blood all over the ground and walls and on YOU, Sadnesses shouldn't bleed, SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-SHOULDN'T-

IN OUT IN OUT, you breath.

You get to the next safe room, you already knew what they'd say, this is the furthest back point you remember from the death loop you were trapped in before you won.

So you ZONE OUT.

.

.

.

and that was everything that happened on floor 2.

Chapter 10: Power of family.

Chapter Text

You zoned out during all of floor 3, you have done that before many times.

So you made it to the last safe room, but your friends noticed how weird you'd been acting - Bonnie even gave you all snacks.

A Potato Samosa was your choice, for the sheer reason it was different, food you hated sure, but different.

When you fought The King you asked him

'why do you call yourself The King?'

The response given by The King was,  "because I do what I do against the will of the people, but in line with the will of the Universe."

Odile comments, "So you admit what you are doing is wrong."

And then they continued beating up The King

On the upside all their defense boosts stacked including the base boost from this new route meaning The King was unable to deal any damage to them.

It was funny, how easy they widdled the King down.

But as you fight, you recall how terrible a person you are, The Change God only helps you because of your incompetence, If it weren't for them you wouldn't even know your friends names. And that one Sadness, it bled... just the thought of it brings your will down.

then comes your cue.

"so all you need to do is disappear!"

"Disappear"

"Disappear"

"Disappear"

"Disappear"

You stop listening as The King exclaims his final scream.

Walking to where the Head Housemaiden is after talking to your friends

(The Head Housemaiden...)

(Last time, she said the loop was broken... And you looped back, for no reason you can tell.)

(But now that you're here with your friends, it has to change, doesn't it?)

(Time might not loop again, because you're loved!)

(You should talk to her, quickly, before the loop restarts on its own again!)

"Are you done talking with your companions? Yes, wonderful, wonderful!"

" I'd like to thank you- (for accompanying young Mirabelle this far.)- I'm very grateful."

"Siffrin, yes? (If there's anything I can do to thank you,)- please don't hesitate to let me know!"

(Oh stars, no.)

(She's saying the exact same thing she did last time...!!!)

"I know you will go back on your travels soon, (but I do hope you'll keep in touch)-, if only for young Mirabelle..."

'But no matter what, know that Dormont will always be open to you! Please come back... any... time...'

(You breathe,  you breathe,  you breathe.)

(Power of friendship, huh?)

(Why would whatever happened before... change anything now?)

(Because you're loved now, you were safe? Or maybe because somehow events on 1 floor altered The King's Vision timing? Is that what you thought?)

(Stupid, stupid,  stupid.)

"Oh... Siffrin...!"

(It's fine. It's just the end again.)

(It's the same, sure your alive, not dead, but its still The same Never-ending play, the same prison)

"I'm so sorry! There's no way we can stop it now...!"

(You'll just be... trapped forever?)

"--You'll be going back! Back when everything started!"

(See...? You already know what will happen after that.)

(If you know what happens next, it means you're fine.)

(You're fine.)

(You're fine...)

(are you really fine?)

Odile noticed, she noticed?, "Siffrin? ...Something wrong?"

(You turn your head.)

(Odile  is looking right at you... should you drop your mask? no, not now)

Odile: "Siffrin. What is it? Is everything okay?"

Mirabelle: "Head Housemaiden, is something the matter?"

Head Housemaiden: "I can't fix it on my own, not before it all ends... If only I had noticed sooner!!!"

Isabeau: "Huh? What's happening?"

Bonnie: "yeah what is that smell? Frin?"

(You can't move.)

(You're frozen.)

Mirabelle: "Siffrin, what's..."

Mirabelle: Siffrin, what's... Urgh!!!

Isabeau: "Is something happening?! this tight pressure in The air around us..."

Isabeau: "It feels like... Ah!"

Bonnie: "ah My head hurts!!!"

Head Housemaiden: "It's my fault that you have to suffer like this."

Odile: "Siffrin!!!"

(They're all running, reaching towards you, so you run in equal measure.)

Bonnie: "Frin, come back!!! Something's wrong!!!"

(You have to reach them)

Mirabelle: "SIFFRIN!!!"

Head Housemaiden: "I just hope that one day..."

(You can catch Isabeau's hand and pull yourself closer to him)

Isabeau: "SIF! SIF!!! SIFFRIN!!!"

Head Housemaiden: "You might learn--"

(You take a step forward--)

"To forgive--"

(And then--)

GAME OVER

  • (IN THAT MOMENT YOU WERE LOVED)

CONTINUE QUIT

THE SAME BLINDING MEADOW AGAIN, Hang on, you have 2 new memories, 1 less new than the other.

You check.

- Memory of Victory(ending 4, won against The King, passively boosts the party's base attack by 25% without acting as a buff).

- Memory of family(ending 5, Got closer to your party and won again,  passively boosts EXP gain for all.)

.

.

.

.

and that was how you learned increasing friendship with your party isn't the answer you were searching for.

Chapter 11: If a tree falls without observers did it ever fall?

Chapter Text

Okay, power of friendship didn't work, what else can you try.

Think Siffrin Think.

Ah right, The King, he might know something, and if helping your friends only makes it easier to power through The House, maybe looping forward to Floor 3 and getting straight To The King would be acceptable in this circumstance.

Keep going Siffrin, you have a play to complete.

You stand before The King, once the fight has started you ask.

Name you're trying to remember?

The King breaks down on the spot. 'Ooooh Wise one, how do you know what I was working towards? unless, you too are a fellow countryman."

Odile comments, " you're both from the same country?"

The King asks in desperation, "do you remember Wise One, say it? make it real?!"

You try to remember, for a second a star

then a violent viscous colour as the pain reverberates. You're fine though, you've suffered worse.

Both you and The King try over and over till

The King manages to say it, '#######'

You feel like you're bleeding, so too is The King.

Mirabel uses healing craft, but it does nothing.

You feel a, tug on, your stomach.

Back in the room before The King, you must tell him to let go, but you need a peace offering. You know how cruel he can be...

You see 3 things in your Nick-Knacks that might help - The Bright Flower, The Clover, and the paper crane.

So when you talk you offer him The Bright Flower making sure the stalk is held by the paper crane.

'Flower for you'

It all goes well, now, he seems less cold now, the tension is broken.

"King you have to let go eventually, trying to say its name only hurts us.'

The King is taken aback, "You knew about our country, Wise One?"

"let me finish"

The King sighs, "of course Wise one"

"Its time to let go and move on King. there's still time to have this story have a happy ending."

(whisper)"and, truth is we've already defeated you twice"

(Shout)"do you want to be humiliatingly beaten with ease? just because you can't let go"

"your 'eternity' is flawed if nobody can truly be alive to experience it"

Mirabel speaks, "Indeed Siffrin is right Kin-"

"Infinitely dreaming is useless, a picture is useless if nobody in the picture can see it."

"If a tree falls but there's nobody to hear it did it even fall? I say NO."

"so Why don't we not fight?"

The King breaks down, his tears flow freely, not frozen mid air.

Bright peircing light, The House returns its vibrant shades, The King shrinks in size somewhat.

The King cries,  "Ooooh Ooooh I...I am sorry young ones, I had not realized my actions were meaningless, that I only caused needless hurt. Please forgive me."

AN actual heartfelt apology? so he was just misunderstood all along

When You get to The Head Housemaiden, the King apologizes.

In the end tho even her speach is the same, start different, before going the same as usual.

'Travelling one, I have to thank you for accompanying young Mirabel and convincing The King to change his ways. In a way you are one of the most valued of the saviors. So please come back to Dormont and/or The House any time.'

Then she went on her usual spiel. and. You felt a tug. on. your.. STOMACH

GAME OVER

(YOU MADE A TRUCE)

START AGAIN QUIT

This next loop you check your memories. 2 new ones.

Memory of Memories(Ending 5 you tried to remember, lets you read your language)

Memory of Diplomacy(Ending 6, You successfully changed The King's mind, No special effect beside using sparkles to show you the options leading back to this outcome)

Okay so you know you don't need to kill The King? or maybe you do in terms of Breaking the loops?

Well time to talk to Change.

You put your hand on the change God statue and again you meet them

"wow I didn't know you could actually do that >_<. I thought The King was an irredeemable monster. You're better than I thought : ]"

You comment,  "thanks I guess. but what now?"

"With Memory of Memories you can look for secrets like what's causing the Loops? maybe even go In the House alone if you want, could be a fun challenge?

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

And that was how you figured that Killing The King wasn't the only option.

Chapter 12: Act IV(4)

Summary:

I decided to do a bit of a swap for this AU. since no Loop, I'd have to do a change God hangout.
So I guess Siffrin is gonna pull an act 5 in act 4.
I have a few new ideas to replace the original Mal Du Pays as well but you'll see in act 5.

Chapter Text

So YOU decided, go look in the House alone, Find out anything that could help.

And surviving that vision attack? well you don't need to this Loop. after all its just an experiment. and you can still talk The King down like last time.

And to ensure you aren't interrupted you made sure to go early, after all looping back to the meadow is almost the start of the day.

Without your friends you make your way to The King pretty quickly.

This is entirely Off-script so you can explain your predicament.

"I'm stuck in a time loop, and I'm trying to find a way to break it."

"Ooooh is that so Wise one?"

"I figured since your method of freezing vaugarde involved time craft. You might know how?"

"a source maybe? so how are you using time craft?"

"Oooooh you came here just to ask me?"

"Consider it a 'backstage chat' since I came here alone. My party would have just gotten in way."

"I see, in said case. I will share. I wouldn't normally have Time craft, no normal human could use it, So I had some help. I asked, I wished and THE UNIVERSE delivered."

"Wishes got it. So maybe I'm imprisoned here because of a wish too."

"that is likely, but I cannot answer all of your predicament, I am not as knowledgeable around this matter as you would think"

With that you give the King the same speech about a tree falling. He gives up on his plans like before.

The Vibrancy of the House's light shades return

And with that you and The King make your way to The Head Housemaiden

There is a hint of distain in her voice.

"King, What why is everything unfrozen despite the fact you're still alive?"

The King responds

"Wise one here showed me the error of my ways, and I am truly sorry for my actions. I must apologize to everyone. But I'm afraid something stops that."

The Head Housemaiden nods

"oh. I see. Yes that would indeed be something you must do. and what do you mean by something stops it?"

You interupt

"We have a bit to explain but I'm stuck in a Time Loop. from the day before I go to fight The King. to the day after. Usually if I talk to you, its all over. It might involve a wish. can you explain?"

The Head Housemaiden begins a slightly changed version of her ending spiel.

"Wish craft you already know about it, and if you're here without your friends you... NO NO NO NO, I'm so sorry Indeed it was a wish that trapped you. Our wish to save Vaugarde. But it failed, rotted, broke. Maybe because someone wished for the wish to fail, or- or maybe we didn't wish the right way! Or maybe Something happened to make it unable to come true. But we can't stop it now, I'm sorry Siffrin."

The King and Head Housemaiden speak in unision

" I only hope you can learn to forgive me!"

(You feel a tug on your stomach)

Game Over

(You went in alone)

Start Again > Quit

(GET BACK ON THE STAGE)

Back in the blinding meadow again.

Well going in alone only gave you a bit of backstage info, and you might know what it is.

All you have to do now is... grant the wish of the people, but now to take a nap - you'll figure out later.

You wrote down the speech to talk down The King and shut your eyes.

.

.

.

.

That was the story of how You went in The House alone.

Chapter 13: Act V(5)

Summary:

Siffrin insults all their friends and lets them go to the House without him. Also lashes out at Change.

Chapter Text

Mirabel woke you up again. You skip most her dialogue/zone out. And then you skip straight to her hangout.

"You know, Nobody needs you to be happy and neither do you."

"uh?"

"What I'm saying is if you're gonna be alone all your life... you should just accept it"

SLAP. she hit you. Mirabel hit you. You scuttle away before she can say anything.

Next if they follow the script is Odile. It fails in the same way. And so does with bonnie. And then with Isabeau.

You've had enough, oh well you'll talk to The Change God now.

"I like things changing but you know... the things you said weren't very nice :["

I THINK I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT THOUGH!

"figured out what? >_<"

I'm always The One!

"always the one to what? :|"

I always deal the final blow to the king or am the one to talk him down!

"That can't be right. I mean sure you are right but how does that-"

"And if a wish to save vaugarde trapped me here, maybe it's because I'm not the one who's supposed to do the final blow!! If Mirabel's the chosen one why wouldn't it be her?"

"no absolutely not that cannot be it-"

"then what? do I go in alone, befriend my party, talk to The King?"

"please Loo- Siffrin listen to me"

"what were you about to call me... you know something I don't? don't you. Have you been lying to me?..."

"I'm stuck here forever arn't I...? is this funny to you? did you enjoy the show?"

(You leave before The Change God could respond. best not to put anymore faith in a useless religion.)

And then you go to the Clocktower later.

You overhear them debate if they should go without you... that was actually an option you never considered. Let them go beat The King without you, while you pick somewhere backstage to watch the play yourself.

So you turn around leaving your orb in an obvious spot on your way out. You'll make your way to a spot and watch.

It takes a while to find somewhere comfortable.

The Meadow was too familiar, too obvious, and anyplace in Dormont itself was a no-go.

Wait, an option you never considered - The Favor tree, it was tall, looked climbable and it is hard to see the top enough to spot you.

It takes little effort to climb as if you'd done this before, maybe in a past life? Well then heroes you better get on the stage.

You slept on the tree through the night, only waking in the morning? continued night, to watch the saviors enter The House.

They're not taking as long as you'd have thought, but still slow.

You can see them by the time they get To The King - the tree here somehow allows you to see into the balcony. You know they might not win... but you did give Mirabel the carrot method still. So they'll be fine.

A Light bombards the area - The King's attack you know it well.

But when you open your eyes, you don't see the world as it should be.

The Light must've burned into your retinas but in the dark you see... a STAR, for a second in it you found a face.

- BATTLE READY -

Fight <

star of fate <

You hit The Star, but the attack did nothing.

"SAY SOMETHING"

The star stays strangely silent

Skills(Grab the star) <

You grab the star

"say Something"

Fight <

star of fate<

You try to crush the star in your hands, no effect.

The Star opens its eyes, you hear... yourself.

"So all you need to do is disappear!!"

Fight <

Star of fate <

You hit the star again

you hear you speak again, you don't remember saying these next words.

"Someone anybody help me, get me out of here."

Fight <

Star of Fate <

No effect

this time you hear The King's voice

"The Universe weeps, the stars cry out in grief"

Fight <

Star of fate <

You Crush the star with your craft.

You hear an otherworldly force like no other speak through the star

"Finish it off, and make a wish, earn your freedom"

Fight <

Star of fate <

The star crumbles to dust, You wish for power, power to accomplish what you want, power to make everyone respect you, you wish for Godhood.

.

.

.

This is a cliffhanger, see the result next time.

Chapter 14: The end setup(next parts are the endings)

Chapter Text

As you made your wish, you felt it, power, flow from you.

Your body lifted off the tree as the glow of hallucination fades.

You see... Colour, the first Colour in forever. You only know what it's called because of your new knowedge.

You only just notice as you lift off that your hat has burned off, leaving a halo in place, and there are wings lifting you off the ground.

You know what you must do - confront your friends Allies and bring this to an end. You fly off towards the house in a brilliant blinding light.

Mirabel's Pov(only other character POV in the whole fic):

(casted Adorable Moving shield)

[The King closes his eyes, we saw a vision into the future]

"yeah we survived it!"

(Just as we were about to launch another strike... A bright light burned from the House's window)

The King starts to speak,  "Young ones can you feel it? that power?"

"yeah now that I think about it, I can feel everything unfreezing near... no not just in Dormont, all of Vaugarde is thawing out of the curse"

(CRACK. CRACK. BANG. BANG)

The Vibrancy of the House's shades returns and The King's size is forcibly shrunk down

The King is upset,  "no my craft, I feel every drop of it that resides in this frozen land it's being absorbed! "

Isabeau Speaks,  "wha- so your saying, you didn;t."

"I smell something weird, lets go ask the Head HouseMaiden. And King we'll deal with you after."

(We walk up before anyone can ask any questions)

Euphrasie approaches us. " Mirabel- wait hang on why is The King here."

The King speaks,  "Everything Unfroze without my Input. We fear the world ma-"

Bonnie speaks,  "The crabbing world is ending."

Euphrasie responds, "I see. Well the outside sky does look a weird brighter warmer shade than usual."

Odile Speaks,  "we're also worried about our friend Siffrin, they left us to go into The House without them."

Euphrasie responds, "I do sense something. Something bigger than us all approaching."

(An eclipse, or something covers the sun momentarily around a silhouette in the sky)

The Voice speaks

" DO YOU NOT RECOGNISE ME?!!"

Siffrin POV:

You wait for your 'allies' response

Before continuing

"Come on say something"

You hear them respond

Odile:  "Siffrin?"

"yes."

Bonnie:  "What are you Doing Sif, why are you like that?!"

"I wished for it and The Universe delivered"

King: "what is the reason of your wish angelic one?"

"Godhood, I'm going to destroy this world, this country and set it all back to zero, Then I'll stop The King from ever freezing the country in time. None of you will remember and you'll all carry on separate"

Mirabel:  "No you can't!! That would mean everything we worked towards would have been meaningless."

Isabeau: "Yeah please liste-"

Mirabel:  "The Change God told us everything, about how you had been 'looping in time' please just let us-"

"You don't know the truth, the Change God is responsible for this. They went back just to prolong my suffering. I wasn't meant to still be Siffrin, I should be Loop."

Mirabel:  "what?"

"but enough talk, if you won't let me end this willingly.... then I'll Make you obey!!!"

.

Chapter 15 will be the Good end

chapter 16 will be The Bad End

Chapter 15: The Ultimate Final Battle!!

Summary:

Its the end.

Chapter Text

Mirabel speaks.  "We won't let you wipe everything back to 0 Siffrin"

The King follows on "agreed, I suppose this calls for a temporary truce."

The Head Housemaiden nods in agreement, "Indeed, i guess a truce it is"

Your former allies+2additional are ready for anything. Their stats went up.

Odile cast Craft buff AOE. Your former allies+2additional had their resistance to ???? craft buffed.

You finally get a turn. You recall your knowledge from your ascension, you recall the video games this world has not seen.

You try something new and use an array of crafted star attacks in bullet hell patterns.

Mirabel casts her shield skill before it hits.

The King closes his eyes, you see a vision into the future... you Took '0.00009999 damage'

The King speaks,  "my strongest craft only did a scratch!"

The Head Housemaiden speaks,  "every scratch will add up."

Bonnie talks, "we're not aiming to kill Frin right?  Sure they were a bit of a crab but they're our friend"

Mirabel casts 'Pretty buffy friend'.

Isabeau casts 'We'll protect eachother'

Odile casts 'Slow II' on you, you were barely slowed at all but you decide to play along - make them seem like they have a chance.

Isabeau passes his turn to Odile who then uses 'Paper a V', you took '0.00006100' damage. Again a mere scratch.

Your turn, You strike at Your adversaries with a slash of your blade - barely any thrust or intent. but the air-pressure alone almost cripples them to the ground.

The King cries and has his tears give your former party strength.

Your former party+2 all strike at once aiming to land any form of cut.

You took '0.0009999' damage.

"Come on Sif, why are you doing this, sure the loops must have been bad. but what did you see"  Isabeau shouts

"yes I think we would all like to know."  Odile follows up

"Fine, what I saw was the truth, I was never meant to carry on this far, we're being played for fools. That God of yours said they were helping me, but they just went back to do a rerun of their oh-so entertaining never-ending play"

They all speak in unison  "that can't be right."

the Head Housemaiden begins crying in disbelief.

The King speaks,  "Look miss Head Housemaiden. don't cry, we may be enemies but I'm telling you because it is our best interest to work together for now."

Mirabel shouts,  "Look Siffrin, We were told that a wish you made got you stuck in the first place. So just tell us."

You can't tell them, you have to end it here, make all the pain go away.

You launch all your power in one strike - aiming at the ground with your full power, a crafted laser with the sharpness of piercing craft, Solidness of Protection craft, and Raw energy of creative craft.

"Everyone stay on guard"  You hear shouted among your party.

Mirabel and the Head Housemaiden combined their efforts into a double layered shield. While The King and Isabeau both buff everyone's defenses. Odile buffs everyone's resistance to all craft. They then all guard.

(SMASH, BANG)

You got hit with your own attack while your adversaries were left mostly alive but chipped all over,

no no no no that should be cheating.

"..."

"now will you tell us?"

"fine,... I wanted to... go see Bonnie reunite with their sister... and most importantly Stay together forever"

The King speaks,  "I see in that case, I finally realize what I have done wrong, eternity isn't supposed to exist is it? It was torture all along"

Your party all speak, "we'd all like to keep travelling together too"

You reverted back to your original form and that was over, with The King going to apologize to everyone, and everyone hearing a story from the Head Housemaiden about Mirabel when she used to take classes.

And as for you... you got booked into therapy before you and your party left Dormont.

.

.

.

That was the end, You kept your new godly powers even without the physical changes. But it was over.

This was possibly the best end.

So now you've wrote all this down I guess it's time to throw this book out into the wind and hope that whoever receives your therapy diary will learn the same lessons.

If anyone else is reading this thank you.

Chapter 16: SO THE WORLD WAS REBORN(bad end)

Summary:

here is the other end

Chapter Text

Mirabel speaks,  "we give up... I don't want to fight you."

Odile speaks, "the odds we even stand a chance here are astronomical. so I agree."

They eventually all agree to give up.

"Then take a moment to look upon the world before the end."

They all stand, looking on the horizon.

It is time, with a quick snap of your fingers the end trigger is set in motion.

It stops, everything suspended in place before fading slowly into nothing

You wait until it is gone then will and it reappears - plus a perch in the sky for your viewing.

Remaking everything like a master craftsman. From countries to islands(including your own) to people.

Everything is back. You quickly fly off your cloudy platform and go off towards the country.

You're going to stop it from being forgotten, hence stopping The King's attack, and then none of 'your' party will ever meet.

It took a few tries to find the cause of what erased your homeland, but you inevitably succeeded. Now Vaugarde is safe from The King before it ever even happened. And the 'You' of this world is still out there alone... as all things should be.

You Thank the Universe for your power and fly back into the clouds to sleep. Maybe something interesting will happen later

You doubt it.

But all you can do is be 'Waiting for something to happen'

Chapter Text

Loop sat under the tree still slowly fading from their fight against Siffrin. It was finally all over.

And so they gave up on both their wishes instead deciding to rest for good.

And that is where I came in >_<, That's right its me The Change God.

Anyway this was all over in the main timeline so I thought and decided, Loop deserved a happy ending or at least a slightly better one.

But what could I do?

Right I would go back, and change fate.

Who knows if it'd work?

I'd need an accident or something, plus going back might erase this timeline if I'm careful.

But I'd do it anyway

So for all those in the future wondering,

That's how it all begins, that's why this new timeline you're reading happens.

Anyhow that's this monologue over, BYE BYE!
