The Friends' Discord Server

Summary:

Mayor Stephanie makes a discord server for the residents of Heartlake City.

Chapter 1: General Chat I

Summary:

Stephanie officially launches the discord server, though someone causes a bit of a pickle. . .

Notes:

Expect quite a few references to other media lol, I can be like that sometimes

Evelyn is my OC btw, not the Evelyn from the weird gap between GOAM and The Next Chapter

Their discord tags will be next to their names on their first appearance (I'll probably only use them when they're pinged)

I had the strangest dream last night. . . 🛌🛌

Oooh what was it?! I'm interested!

Candi:

Well, I was on a plane over Heartlake City, it was just me and a group of pigs, but both the pilots passed out and the engines stopped, I had to land the plane myself but I crash landed in a pig pen on Autumn's farm then I work up

woke*

Evelyn:

So you landed deadstick?

Candi:

What does that mean?

Evelyn:

♪ Deadstick, death wish, panic in the cockpit, praying in the cabin, we're all holding hands ♪

Candi:

OMG, can you just explain to me the meaning instead of singing a song?! 😡😡

Evelyn:

♪ Deadstick, death wish, lost all propulsive, propellers ain't spinning, bein' forced to land ♪

Also that line describes what a deadstick landing is quite well; it's when a plane's engines fail and you have to make an emergency landing without any engine power.

Liann:

I just had an idea for a new comic! Thanks Candi!

I needed an excuse to make reference to King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard somewhere, I had the idea for this chapter while listening to Deadstick

Loosely based on the "Things You Should Never Do If You Want To Make Friends" miniseries and Liannova moments in the Diner

Charli:

If it was up to me, those two would be banned from the diner, but my boss won't let me ban them both. One time one of them played loud music, annoying everyone. Another time she brought her own food in, INCLUDING A FLIPPING BIRTHDAY CAKE! That literally caused me to go flying, like a rocket, in rage. Also that time one of them came in half asleep, knocking over patrons and breaking a few glasses. There's so much those two have done >:(

@MayorSteph who runs the Heartlake Food Safety Board? I have a bit of a complaint about Chef Marta's restaurant

Candi:

I have a similar complaint! Like OMG cooking while blind folded? That's so unsafe! Someone's going to start a fire!

Pickle Boy:

Same here! That Marta will end up in a real pickle soon, I mean cooking without hands? What the heck?

Chef Marta: (Swiss_Chef_Marta)

Tsk tsk tsk, complaining on Discord? MINUS 10,000 POINTS!

@MayorSteph I think I found one of the worst health & safety regulations violations ever; the food is just stored in the roof with no refrigeration at all, fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, all stored like that!

Yes! I discovered it with Matilde! I wouldn't eat there, even if someone paid me!

Aliya:

The food there tasted awful, even when cooked by Leo! at least Churro liked it

Alright, alright, I've heard your complaints, I'll send a team to investigate.

 

Notes:

I headcanon Chef Marta as being Swiss lol, due to her saying phrases in both French & German (2 of Switzerland's official languages and often co-official in some Cantons like Freiburg and Bern)

Matilde's complaint is based on the actual set, where all the food pieces are literally stored in the roof, and Aliya's based on the alternate expression she has (a sort of disgusted expression).
