Chapter 1: _Somethings off_

Chapter Text

Lloyd stood by the monastery gates, his eyes wide with excitement. Today was a special day. Kai was getting married! The courtyard buzzed with movement—Zane adjusting the lights, Nya checking flower arrangements, Cole wrestling with tablecloths.
It was finally happening and Lloyd couldn’t be happier for Kai. He could already imagine the wonderful feast they would have after the ceremony.

The sound of the opening gate made him turn. He saw Kai and Skylor walking through the gate. Kai walking towards Zane and Cole greating each other as they laugh. The sight of his big brother made Lloyd’s heart swell with pride. It was his day.

As Kai greeted the others with his usual enthusiasm, Lloyd’s eyes were drawn to Skylor. She looked beautiful of course, but there was something... off. As she was standing there she looked very... tense but also had an unnatural face. When her eyes met Lloyd’s, he stopped thinking about it and smiled widely, stepping forward to greet her.

“Hi Skylor! how was the trip?” Lloyd said, his voice bright, but as he did, he noticed her sharp look. It was quick, cold, she looked him up and down and just said ''it was good? i guess'' and then she just simply turned away and walked to Pixal.

Lloyd stood there his smile faltering as he watched her walk away. It was... strange. He had known Skylor for a long time, and she was never like that. she usually greated him brightly she even hugged him but now it looked like she didnt even wanna see him.

He brushed it off, telling himself that maybe she was just tired from the trip to the monastery, trying to shake off the feeling. Before he could think much about it, He was suddenly lifted from the ground by Kai hugging Lloyd tightly.

“Hey buddy! excited for my big day??” said Kai grinning, squeezing him briefly before letting him go. “Can’t believe this is really happening.”

Lloyd breathed after he was squized by Kai and then just chuckles “Yeah, I can’t believe it either. You’re really going through with it, huh?”

Kai grinned, his eyes full of excitement. “of course! its going to be the best day of my life!”

Just then, Nya came up from behind, smiling brightly. “excited i see?'' she says before being pulled into spinning tight hug by Kai.

Lloyd smiles as Kai puts nya down. “It’s hard to believe Kai managed to get this far with Skylor'' she jokes as kai nudges her ''hey!'' Nya and Lloyd laugh ''no but I’m really happy for both of you.”

Kai chuckles. “Yeah im happy your finally making it official.” says Lloyd.

“So, what do you think of the wedding so far?” Kai asked, glancing around at the preparations. “Everything good?”

Lloyd couldn’t help but smile. “It’s looking awesome. I’m looking forward to the ceremony, but I’m especially excited for the feast. I cant wait to eat Coles pastries and sweet treats”

Nya rolled her eyes. “Yeah, we’ve noticed. We’re all going to have to eat extra to keep you from getting sugar overdose.”

Lloyd laughed, shrugging it off. “Hey, what can I say? its hard to refuse coles baking”

Kai punched him in the back, grinning. “We’ll make sure there’s enough to keep you happy. After all Skylor invented all the ideas for the feast. It will be perfect!”

Lloyd’s thoughts briefly wandered back to Skylor. There was something about the way she had talked to him earlier, it still nagged him but he didn’t want to bring it up, especially now. Today was about celebrating, not dwelling on things that might be nothing.

“I just hope everyone’s going to have a good time,” Kai said.

Nya flashed a grin. “We’re all working together to make it special for you and Skylor, it’ll be great.”

As the three of them continued to chat, Lloyd found his mind wandering back to Skylor once more. She was standing a little apart from them, still talking to Pixal.

He didnt know why but he felt the atmosphere get a little... dark? he couldnt say exactly what it was but he knew he felt it mostly from Skylor... but as he was thinking about it he suddenly heard Nya talking to him.

''Hello?? earth to Lloyd??'' Lloyd grins akwardly as both his sibling stare at him ''yeah? sorry was spacing out a little'' Kai suddenly sees master Wu and his smile widens ''im going to talk to master wu guys see ya later!''As Kai leaves Nya speaks '' im going to check out the flowers okay?''
“right! ill go look how Jays doing,” Lloyd said as he starts looking for Jay.

Chapter Text

The monastery had never been busier. Colorful decorations adorned the walls, the scent of sweets and savory treats drifted through the air, and the constant sound of footsteps and voices echoed through the halls. Everyone had a job, and everyone was doing their best to make sure Kai and Skylor's wedding went off without a hitch.

Lloyd was helping with the decorations near the entrance of the meditation hall when he noticed someone wobbling dangerously on a ladder.

“Whoa—Jay!” Lloyd shouted, rushing forward just as Jay nearly lost his balance while reaching to hang a string of paper lanterns. Lloyd grabbed the bottom of the ladder just in time.

Jay clung to the top rung, laughing nervously. “Dude, that was way too close. You totally saved me there.” He climbed down slowly and patted Lloyd on the shoulder. “You’ve got lightning-fast reflexes—even without Spinjitzu.” Lloyd chuckled. “What were you even doing up there alone?”

Jay beamed. “Well, while you were doing who knows what, I was fixing up the lights in the meditation hall, helping Zane figure out a new layout for the chairs—don’t ask, it’s a whole geometry thing—and then I made sure all the speakers are working for the ceremony music. Also, I checked on the guest list and—”

Lloyd blinked as Jay continued to rattle off tasks at a speed only someone like Jay could. After jay rant to him about all the things he managed to do he went to look how the dragon stabels look like, when he was headed there Lloyd spotted Skylor heading toward the dragon stables. Only a few people were there. And One of them was unfortunately Dareth.

He was polishing a small trophy he had brought for the occasion—apparently, he’d awarded himself ‘Best Ring Bearer.’

“Ah, Skylor!” Dareth said, puffing out his chest as he stepped toward her with a wide grin. “It’s an honor to be your ring bearer. Truly. I mean, out of everyone here, Kai obviously knew I was the best choice. Experience, charm, dance moves—I’ve got it all.” He reached out to hug her.

Skylor’s expression twisted in an instant. From unreadable to disgusted. She pushed Dareth hard enough that he stumbled and fell flat on his back. “Don’t. Touch. Me.” she snapped.

Dareth blinked up at her from the floor, dazed. “Wh-What?” he muttered. “I—I was just trying to be friendly... y’know, best bearer in Ninjago?”

Lloyd watched it all from the archway behind one of the columns. His stomach dropped. That wasn’t Skylor’s voice. The tone, the venom in it. She would never treat someone like that. not even Dareth.

Dareth sat on the floor, scratching his head with a confused, goofy smile. “Sheesh, must be wedding nerves or something... right?”

Lloyd didn’t laugh. He wasn’t smiling. He realized its starting to get REALLY weird now so he decided to follow her. He followed her to her ´´preperation room´´ and hid behind a corner.

The preparation room buzzed with activity as Chamille and Tox, dressed in their bridesmaid attire, adjusted the final touches on the floral arrangements. The room was adorned with vibrant decorations, reflecting the joyous occasion.

chamille examining a bouquet  "These flowers turned out better than I expected. Who knew we had a knack for this?"Tox grinning "Don't get used to it. I'm not trading my poison for petals anytime soon."

Their lighthearted banter was interrupted as Skylor entered the room, her expression stern and unapproachable. He stayed hidden behind the corner, watching in silence.

Skylor says coldly "What is this? The arrangements are all wrong."

Chamille raises her eyebrow "We followed the plan you approved a week ago?-" Skylor suddenly snaps at them "Well, it's not good enough. I can't believe you two thought this was acceptable."

Tox crosses her arms starting to get angry "Excuse me? We've been working nonstop to get everything perfect." Chamille steps forward to her "Is there something else going on here? You're not acting like yourself."

Skylor now frustrated says "Maybe if you two weren't so incompetent, things would be different." The room fell silent as the tension escalated. Chamille and Tox exchanged glances, their patience wearing thin.

Tox now firmly says "You know what? If you don't appreciate our help, maybe you should handle it yourself."Chamille nods to her "Agreed. We're done here."

They placed the bouquets down and exited the room, leaving Skylor standing alone amidst the discarded flowers.

Lloyd’s heart sank. That wasn't just irritation. That was cruelty. Skylor had always been nice to people and her friends. This isnt some ´´wedding stress´´.

He couldnt believe this he walked away from there and made his way to the kitchen where Cole was baking. The warm aroma of cinnamon, berries, and vanilla hitting him instantly. Cole stood at the counter in his apron, pulling trays of golden pastries from the oven.

“Hey, Lloyd!” he said, placing a fresh pie onto a cooling rack. “You’re just in time. Try this—it’s your favorite.”Lloyd took the small plate with a slice of pie and sat on one of the stools, frowning.

Cole noticed instantly. “Whoa, what’s with the face? Don’t tell me you’re sad about the wedding pastries.” Lloyd immediately looked up asuring Cole thats not it “No... it’s Skylor.”

Cole looked up, wiping his hands on his apron. “What about her?”“She’s acting weird. Really weird. She was yelling at Chamille and Tox like they’d ruined her life. Then she shoved Dareth for no reason. She’s cold, she’s mean, and it’s like... like she’s not even her.”

Cole raised an eyebrow, walking over with a small plate of cookies. “You sure it’s not just nerves? Some people get snappy before weddings.”

Lloyd shook his head. “No, it’s not that. She didn’t just snap. She looked at Dareth like he was filth. And she’s been cold to me too. She barely looked at me earlier. You know Skylor—she’s always kind to people. Even Dareth.”

Cole leaned against the counter, listening.

Lloyd’s voice dropped. “It’s like... it’s not her.”

Cole smiled gently. “Lloyd, you’ve seen a lot of crazy stuff in your life. Sometimes it makes you... I dunno, overthink things.” He tried to lighten the mood. “I mean, come on, maybe she’s just super focused. Like, 'I must marry Kai and crush anyone who misplaces a flower petal!'”

Lloyd didn’t laugh. “I’m serious, Cole. There’s a bad energy around her. I can feel it.”

Before Cole could reply, Skylor appeared in the doorway. Her smile looked perfect but it didn’t reach her eyes.

“Hey, Cole,” she said smoothly. “Something smells delicious.” Cole brightened. “You came at the right time. Want to try one of the lemon bars?” “Sure,” she said, picking one up and taking a bite. “Mm. Tastes amazing.”

“Here, take a few more,” Cole said, handing her a napkin with several treats. “You’ll need snacks while getting ready. ”Skylor took them, smiled, and turned to leave.

Lloyd watched her as she walked to the exit. And then—she tossed the napkin, treats and all, directly into the trash bin by the door. She didn’t even glance back.

Lloyd’s mouth dropped open. “Cole! She just threw it away!” Cole turned, confused. “What?”

“She literally just tossed the pastries you gave her in the trash.” Lloyd pointed at the bin.Cole walked over, glanced inside, and sure enough, there they were. He frowned for a second. “Huh. Weird. Maybe she didn’t want to hurt my feelings by refusing?” “Seriously?” Lloyd said, exasperated. “That’s not like her at all. I’m telling you, something’s wrong.”Cole shrugged. “Look, I get it. But maybe you’re just... stressed. Weddings can bring out weird stuff in people. You’ve been through a lot lately.”

“I know what I saw,” Lloyd muttered. Cole placed a hand on his shoulder. “I’m not saying you’re crazy. But maybe don’t jump to conclusions just yet.”

Cole went to grab another tray but when he turned back to Lloyd he was gone. He wasn’t going to lose sight of her again. Lloyd watched her all day inconspicuously to see any other signs but he only caught her glaring at some people .

Later at night Lloyd was walking down the hall to his room when he heard voices coming from the balcony just past the meditation room. He crept closer.

It was Kai. And Skylor.

They were arguing.

Skylor says sternly ''we need to talk'' Kai looks at her and smiles ''sure what about?'' Skylor looks annoyed ''its about Lloyd, alright?'' Kai's eyes widen a little ''Oh.. look- i know hes been acting weird lately-''

''let me speak okay?'' Skylor demands ''oka-'' Skylor suddenly snaps ''Just listen to me!''

Kai looks surprised and tries to calm her down ''im listening, im listening!'' Skylor snaps ''i also told you to not wear the suit.'' Kai now not understanding whats going on ''but my dad gave it to me? you said you liked it a week ago?''

''Are you really disagreeing with me right now?'' Kai now looks confused ''i guess i am--- Ahhh!...''

(A pulse of faint purpleish energy flashes through the door)

Lloyds eyes widen and suddenly Skylor speaks up ''Oh noo are those the nasty headaches again? its probably from overworking on the wedding preperations again, here let me help''

Skylor touches his head again and uses her Purple powers again while Kai groans in pain. Lloyds face pales. Hes seen this kind of magic before. but he cant quiet catch What kind of power it is. But it was dark.

Lloyd quickly ran to his room laying in his bed thinking about the things that he saw today he wasnt sure what was going on. But he knew it isnt good...

Chapter Text

The following day, the monastery was alive with chatter. Today was the final rehearsal for the wedding, and everyone was excited for the big day—everyone except Lloyd. Wu guided everyone into the center of the monastery where the ceremony would take place. Banners of red and gold fluttered, incense burned faintly, and rows of chairs filled the place.

Kai stood at the front, fidgeting with his collar while Jay and Cole argued over whose suit looked better. Pixal and Zane were talking quietly as they waited for a signal to start the music. Dareth sat on the stairs, fiddling with the rings and cake decorations shaped like the couple. Nya stood near Kai, ready in her place as his best woman. But Kai, the older Smith sibling, realized his best man hadn’t arrived yet, which made him even more stressed. Nya noticed his tension and wanted to calm him, but suddenly the music started and everyone took their places as Wu began to speak.

“Let us walk through the ceremony.” —The music began, and suddenly the big gates opened. Skylor entered, smiling as she slowly walked toward the flustered Kai. “No need to rush. After a moment, the bride will make her way here.”

Cole whispered to Jay, “Okay, wow. She’s really good at this dramatic entrance.” Jay snorted. “Yeah, and here I thought I was the one for theatrics.”
and Just as Master Wu was about to continue, Lloyd arrived.

“Stop!” Lloyd’s voice rang through the monastery walls.

Everyone looked shocked at his sudden entrance.

He stepped closer to Kai and Skylor. “I’m here... but I’m not going to stand next to her! And neither should you, Kai!”

Jay and Cole rushed to him. “Lloyd, are you okay?” Jay asked, touching his shoulder awkwardly.

“I’m fine!” Lloyd snapped, shoving his arm away.
“Are you sure?” Cole asked, stepping forward disapprovingly. Lloyd shoved him back.

“I’M SURE!”

Kai glared at him, exhausted. “Lloyd...”

But Lloyd was convinced. Despite Kai’s glare and everyone’s disapproving faces, he continued. “This isn’t the Skylor youre supposed to marry Kai!! Skylor would never be rude and fake things!” he shouted angrily.

Gasps erupted. Jay nearly dropped a streamer. Cole’s eyes widened. Zane and Pixal stared. Wu looked shaken. Nya glared at Lloyd, her face disapproving.

“Lloyd!” Nya’s voice was sharp, protective. “What in the world are you talking about exactly again?!”

“She’s not acting like herself!” Lloyd pointed at Skylor. “She’s been cruel to ALL of you, and you still pick her side! She dismissed her bridesmaids, and I’ve seen her using some weird magic! Some kind of dark spell—making Kai look like he’s controlled, like he’s not even himself!”

Kai’s head pounded, the ache flaring the moment Lloyd said it. He touched his temple, glaring at his brother. “Enough, Lloyd!!”

Skylor’s lips trembled, her eyes shining as though holding back tears. “Why are you doing this to me?” she whispered, her voice breaking just enough to sound convincing—before she ran away crying.

Lloyd’s voice cracked, raw with desperation. “Because you’re not *her*! You’re evil, and if I don’t stop you, you’ll destroy Kai’s life!”

The monastery fell into awkward silence. Cole frowned, glancing between Lloyd and Kai, conflicted. Even Wu’s usually steady expression faltered with unease. Jay fiddled nervously with his suit. Zane and Pixal stood frozen and Nya avoided eye contact, her face full of dissapontment

Kai’s anger boiled over. He stepped forward, his voice shaking. “You want to know why Skylor used magic? It’s because I’ve been getting migraines that won’t quit. And Skylor—” His hand clenched. “Skylor hasn’t been controlling me. She’s been *helping* me!”

Lloyd’s breath hitched. “No... that’s not true, I—”

Kai snapped, his words bitter. “And Tox and Chamille asked if they could step down because they had more important matters to handle! Skylor respected their wishes! Don’t twist it into something it’s not.”

Jay and Cole exchanged uneasy looks, neither daring to interrupt.

Lloyd tried again, desperate. “I was just trying to—”

“You were trying to sabotage the one good thing in my life!” Kai’s voice cracked. He jabbed a finger at Lloyd. “She’s been stressed because she’s been planning everything! Maybe that’s why she was a little bitter to everyone—but that’s it! And you still dare to accuse her of something like THIS?!”

The silence that followed cut deeper than any blade. Jay looked away. Cole sighed, his shoulders sinking. Zane’s eyes softened with concern, but he said nothing. Nya stood stiff as stone, caught between her brothers.

Kai looked at Lloyd, angry and disappointed at the same time. He sighed, exhausted. “Now\... if you’ll EXCUSE me, I have to comfort my wife!” Kai snapped, storming away. He stopped, hesitating, then turned back. “And you know WHAT?! forget... forget being my best man!” His words dripped with venom as he left.

The words hit Lloyd like a blade. His throat tightened, but no sound came out.

After a long silence, Nya finally spoke. “Let’s... let’s go look for Skylor, guys.”

And One by one, they followed her, each casting Lloyd a sad, disappointed glance before leaving.

Wu stood near the monastery doors. His voice was quiet but firm. “Lloyd... you have overstepped really far this time... You have much to reflect upon.”

and then he leaves

Lloyd fell to his knees, fists trembling. *Maybe I was wrong... and because of that, I didn’t just lose a brother... I also lost the chance to have a sister-in-law.*

Tears slid down his cheeks—until Skylor appeared from the shadows. For a moment, Lloyd forgot about the possibility she might not be who she seemed.

“I’m so sorry, Skylor...”

Skylor smiled softly at him.
But as he looked up, her eyes flickered with evil.

Lloyd’s face froze.

“You will be sorry!” she hissed, shoving him into a dark portal.

Chapter Text

Lloyd blinked against the darkness, trying to make sense of his surroundings. The air was thick and damp, carrying the metallic scent of something ancient. Shadows danced along jagged walls lit by a faint, eerie glow that pulsed as if the caves themselves were alive. Thunder rumbled overhead, though no sky was visible.

“Where... am I?” he whispered, his voice barely audible.

A deep, growling voice echoed through the crystals around him: *Welcome to the Oni realm, Garmadon’s son.*

The crystals warped into a false image of Skylor with darkened eyes. Lloyd gasped. “H-how?!”

The vision chuckled. *I thought you knew this whole time... guess I was wrong.*

“Oni...” Lloyd growled. The false Skylor smirked before shifting into its true form.

*Enjoy living in the Oni realm. After we take over Ninjago, you’ll have nowhere left to go.* The voice grinned wickedly. *Now excuse me... I have a wedding to attend.*

“NO! WAIT!!” Lloyd shouted, his voice echoing through the cavern.

His eyes then caught a shimmer ahead—a faint outline of a figure trapped within a translucent barrier. Skylor. Her hands pressed against the magical walls, eyes wide with fear. She looked weak, her energy fading.

“Skylor!” Lloyd ran forward.

“Lloyd!” she cried, her voice muffled through the barrier.

He stopped short, realizing the enchantment was powerful. He pounded his fists against it, but the glowing wall remained unbroken.

From the shadows, dozens of Oni emerged, their growls shaking the cavern. Lloyd’s heart raced. He wasn’t stronger than them, but he couldn’t back down.

He tried to extend his power toward the barrier, but nothing happened. The barrier was forged of Oni magic, and just like the Oni, it was immune to normal powers.

Lloyd fought, dodging their claws, striking back with all he had, but every hit seemed useless. A massive blow sent him flying into the wall. He collapsed, vision fading.

---

When he opened his eyes again, everything was silent. He was no longer in the cave, but inside his own mind. Voices filled the void—

Disapproval.

*“Forget being my best man, Lloyd! You ruin everything!”*

Hurt.

*“You’re a horrible person. I can’t believe you.”*

Accusations.

*“This is all Lloyd’s fault! He’s so unnecessarily paranoid.”*

Doubt.

*“I don’t think I can even trust Lloyd.”*

Each one of them cut deeper than the last. His chest tightened. He clenched his fists. “No... I... but I WAS RIGHT! I WAS RIGHT! Why didn’t you trust me?!”

His throat closed. He couldn’t breathe properly. It felt like the air was gone as he fell to his knees, gasping. The floor beneath him began to sink, pulling him down into darkness.

And that’s when he felt it.

A guttural growl escaped his throat. His body burned with power, hurt and anger flooding every vein. In a burst of light and shadow, his form shifted—four arms, purple flames, his golden Oni form.

The cavern trembled as Lloyd rose, eyes glowing with fury. He unleashed a roar, his new strength shaking the Oni to their core. They charged him, but this time his Oni energy overwhelmed them. Blasts of raw power sent them crashing into the walls. His movements were faster, heavier, unstoppable.

Finally, Lloyd gathered all of his rage into one colossal sphere of golden-purple energy. With a furious growl, he hurled it forward, obliterating the Oni in a blinding explosion. The cavern went silent, smoke swirling around him.

---

Lloyd turned to the barrier. His Oni and elemental powers combined as he pressed his hands against it, forcing the magic to unravel. Skylor screamed inside, pounding on the walls. “Lloyd, stop! You’re hurting yourself!” But he couldn’t hear her. His growls drowned out everything.

With one last surge, the barrier shattered. Skylor stumbled out, only to freeze at the sight of him. Lloyd stood tall, monstrous, his four arms crackling with dark golden power.

“L-Lloyd...” she whispered, staring in shock. She had never seen him like this.

The Oni in him snarled, stepping closer. He lifted her effortlessly off the ground, his eyes wild. Skylor’s breath caught in her throat. But then... his gaze softened. His true self broke through the rage. He set her down carefully, stumbling back as if afraid of himself.

“No... not her... never her...” he muttered, shaking, fighting to suppress the transformation. With a shudder, his body finally reverted. Panting, exhausted, he looked at Skylor with tear-filled eyes.

She rushed to him. “Are you okay? What happened to you?”

Lloyd didn’t answer—he just pulled her into a desperate hug. “I knew\... I knew that wasn’t you. I knew something was wrong all along.”

She hugged him back tightly, relief washing over her. But her strength was failing fast—the Oni realm’s air was suffocating her. Skylor swayed, her legs giving out.

“Skylor! No, stay with me!” Lloyd panicked, catching her in his arms. Without hesitation, he sprinted through the caves, carrying her. The Oni weren’t gone—more shadows stirred, chasing him. His heart pounded, desperation fueling every step.

Then, ahead, a massive crystal glowed with swirling energy—a portal. “Hold on!” Lloyd shouted. Oni closed in, but he didn’t stop. He dove straight into the portal with Skylor in his arms.

The Oni screeched, but the crystal sealed before they could follow.

---

Light engulfed them. When Lloyd opened his eyes, he was back—back in the monastery’s underground chambers. Skylor lay weak but alive in his arms. The Oni realm was nowhere to be seen... for now.

Chapter Text

The monastery was decorated in beautiful red-and-gold decorations. The sky outside was a brilliant blue, the sun shining warmly, while soft white clouds floated lazily across the horizon. The courtyard was filled with flowers and lanterns, each glowing faintly in the daylight as if the whole place itself was celebrating.

Kai stood at the altar in his pristine white suit, a red tie neatly tied around his neck, and a golden flower tucked into his pocket. To all who saw him, he appeared calm, collected, and noble. Yet inside, the truth was far darker—his mind was not his own. The Oni’s magic had twisted his will, hollowing him out into a puppet, moving only as their dark power allowed.

Beside him stood Nya, radiant in a rose-red dress with golden accessories and a flower behind her ear. Pride and joy lit her face as she looked at her brother. To her, Kai had always been a role model, the one she admired most, and today she believed she was witnessing his happiest moment. The honor of being his best woman filled her with excitement.

The hall was packed with guests. All around, they wore red clothing accented with golden accessories, symbolizing harmony and unity. The air was filled with soft music as Pixal played with perfect grace, her notes carrying peace through the hall. Cole leaned toward Jay, bragging about the pastries he had baked for the Ceremony, making Jay look at annoyed at him. Zane was adjusting his tie with his usual calm precision, glancing toward the altar with watchful eyes.

Then, the great monastery gates creaked open. The music shifted into the wedding march. Down the aisle walked “Skylor,” her beauty radiant, her steps elegant. The crowd gazed at her in awe, admiring her every move. To them, she was flawless, the perfect match for Kai. No one suspected the falsehood hidden beneath her perfect smile.

The heavy gates shut as she entered, locking the room into a false sense of comfort. “Skylor” hid her thrill behind a soft smile. Her plan was working—no one doubted her.

At the altar, she took her place beside Kai, her hands folded gracefully. Master Wu lifted his staff and began to speak, his voice steady and warm. “Ladies and gentlemen, friends and family, today we are gathered to celebrate the union of the Master of Fire and the Master of Amber.”

Dareth, who had been waiting eagerly, straightened his brown suit and clutched the rings. When Wu called him forward, he dashed ahead—only to trip halfway. Gasps and then laughter filled the hall as Dareth scrambled back to his feet, cheeks flushed. “Hehe, sorry! Didn’t mean to! But I am the best ring bearer in all of Ninjago if you dont know. Heh Here are your rings!” he declared with a goofy grin, handing them over before retreating awkwardly.

The laughter faded as Wu turned serious once more. He raised his staff. “Kai Smith, Master of Fire, do you take—”

“STOP!”

The monastery doors blasted open with a violent crash. A surge of green energy poured in, scattering petals like a storm. Guests screamed, clutching at one another in shock.

Lloyd stood in the entrance, his hair tangled and wild, cuts streaking across his cheek, his clothes torn and dirtied from battle. His green aura burned fiercely around him. His voice rang across the hall “Stop the wedding—right NOW!”

The ninjas froze, exchanging uneasy glances. The moment felt strange—embarrassing even—as Lloyd, once again, seemed to be sabotaging the celebration. But his eyes told a different story. His voice carried urgency and desperation that no one could ignore.

Fake Skylor’s mask slipped, her smile twisting into rage. “Why does he ALWAYS have to ruin everything?! This was supposed to be MY day!”

“No, it isn’t!” another voice called out. From behind, the real Skylor appeared, her hair tied messily, her eyes blazing with defiance. “Because this isn’t your day—it’s MINE!”

The guests erupted in confusion. “Two Skylors?!” Jay shouted, his voice squeaking. Cole rubbed his eyes in disbelief. “How… how can there be two Skylors?!”

Darkness rippled through the hall as the Oni’s illusion began to break apart. Master Wu turned sharply toward the imposter but Before he could act, her disguise melted away, revealing her monstrous Oni form.

With a single brutal strike, They flung Wu against the stone wall. Nya leapt forward to defend him, but she too was thrown aside, groaning as she landed.

Panic consumed the hall. Oni soldiers stormed in, their shadows spreading across the floor as they turned terrified guests into stone. Screams filled the air. The elemental masters raised their powers to fight, but the Oni’s numbers were overwhelming.

Wu pushed himself to his feet, staff in hand, and engaged the Main Oni in a desperate clash. His voice carried across the chaos “Lloyd! Guard the Golden Weapons! Take the others with you!”

The ninjas obeyed, retreating through the monastery halls.

-few minutes later-

After the ninja were gone and everyone around was turned to stone Wu still continued his battle with them.

But was eventually struck down. Darkness enveloped him as his body turned to hard cold stone. Skylor too was trapped, her legs hardened into the floor, unable to move. She called desperately to Kai, but he stood like a lifeless figure, still under the Oni’s control.

The Main Oni ascended to the rooftop, thunder booming above. talking through Skylors cries “No one can stop me. Soon, Ninjago will crumble beneath my power!”

as Skylor heard that she yelled at him “I trust the ninjas!” Skylor shouted, her voice fierce despite her restraints. “They’ll defeat you. They always do!”

The Oni smirked cruelly ''Is that so?'' opening the gates to reveal the captured ninjas dragged inside by Oni guards. One by one, their legs were bound with dark magic—except for Lloyd.

The Oni leader lunged at him, their clash sending Lloyd sprawling. The Oni turned away, laughing mockingly. looking at the paintings on the walls “Tremble, Ninjago. I will reshape you in my image!.”

As the Oni leader wasnt looking Lloyd took the opritunity While it was distracted and quietly ran to Skylor who was standing next to Kai.

As he got there they out of nowhere swap their bodies and the ninja look shocked.

Turns out before Skylor was kiddnaped she was with Chamille making her weeding invitations so they had physical contact wich allowed Skylor to have her abilty to Change into someone else.

With determination, Skylor shattered the stone bindings using the Oni power she had taken while the Oni attacked her.

She freed Lloyd and the others, but The Oni roared in rage when they saw it and turned to strike at her, but Jay unleashed a bolt of lightning. The attack didnt do anything to the monster, but it bought the Oni's attention.

Jay yellped as the Oni started attacking them and the other Oni's joining in.

''Try knock some sense in him'' says Lloyd running of to help them

Skylor turned to Kai, her heart trembling. He stood frozen, a puppet. Her hands shook as she touched his cheek, pouring the Oni energy into him. The magic was heavy and suffocating, threatening to consume her instead. She Stumbled back coughing, but rose again with fire in her eyes.

“Kai… come back to me,” she pleaded, forcing more of the power into him. Her body trembled, her strength nearly gone, but she refused to let go.

even if the power was too strong for her.

The Main Oni noticed what she was trying to do and charged at them, a shadowy roar shaking the hall. Just before his strike could land, a burst of light exploded around Skylor and Kai. A massive sphere of energy formed, levitating them both as the Oni screamed in fury.

**BOOM!**

The blast shook the monastery to its foundation. Darkness was ripped away, melting the Oni and their army into nothingness. The storm clouds scattered, the blue sky shining once again. Statues cracked and shattered as the petrified guests awoke, gasping in relief.

Skylor collapsed to her knees, gasping. “Ugh…”

Kai blinked, his eyes finally free of the hollow glow. “Wh… what happened?” he muttered weakly.

“You’re back!” Skylor cried joyfully, throwing her arms around him. Then she shoved his shoulder playfully. “Glad you decided to join the living again.”

Kai laughed softly, his voice hoarse, and pulled her into a kiss. She kissed him back with all the strength she had left.

The crowd erupted into cheers. The ninjas regrouped with exhausted smiles. Master Wu, restored from stone though weakened, leaned on his staff with Lloyd at his side. Relief washed over all of them as they stood together again.

No one was more relieved than Lloyd, he was exhausted, but also Proud that he didnt give up even when no one else believed him.

The Oni had been defeated once again and The light had returned. Though the day began in shadow, it ended in love, unity, and the unbreakable hope that Ninjago would always rise against the darkness.

Notes:

HAAH GOT YOU IT HAS A GOOD ENDING I JUST WANTED YOU TO THINK I MADE SOMETHING ORIGINAL AND INTRESTING>:D

Also lets talk about few things maybe about Skylors powers ik Skylor isnt probably able to hold someones powers for more than a day since i wrote that she had touched Chamille back before the weeding but i just had to think of something so lets pretend shes able to do that okay ty oh and since were talking about this please ignore the fact she could also change Lloyd apperance btw if it was clear Skylor pretended to be Lloyd and Lloyd pretended to be Skylor :D if there is anything else that didnt make sense ask me i mostly jsut needed to write it somehow so it related to MLP and also NINJAGO okay STAY TUNED FOR THE LAST EPPPP byee

Notes:
