Chapter Text

So this is a crossover story of Tower Of God and My Hero Academia, where Jue Viole Grace and Garam end up in the MHA world. Because why not?

Don't know if anyone reads the tower of god manwha or are interested in a crossover, but here is my version of this crossover story.

And I know the pairing is a bit odd with bam and Garam, but at least give it a read and a chance as the story and their relationship develops.

Set just at the end of the workshop battle, and now takes place in the USJ attack.

This was such an interesting idea in my head, and this is pretty much a fun strory i wanted to write about, and to see what someone else would think.

There might be some grammar mistakes, but I think I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. There’s more I want to say, but I’ll try to address them in the story and at the end. Hope you enjoy!

How could a single field trip go so wrong?

This thought, laced with fear and confusion, echoed in the minds of most of the hero-in-training students. The air, thick with dust and the acrid smell of ozone, did little to dispel the surreal horror unfolding around them.

It was supposed to be a day of focused learning and practical application. The sprawling USJ – the Unforeseen Simulation Joint – was designed to provide a realistic training ground for rescue scenarios.

Aizawa, the homeroom teacher for this class, with his perpetually tired eyes and dry wit, and the esteemed Space Hero Thirteen, were to guide them through simulations of floods, earthquakes, and infernos. All Might himself, the Symbol of Peace, was expected to make a brief appearance, deliver a few words of encouragement, and then be on his way.

It was a wonderful opportunity for them. A chance to test their burgeoning Quirks, to prove their mettle, to inch closer to their dreams of becoming heroes. But the air crackled with a tension far removed from playful competition.

The USJ was supposed to be… fun.

But that wasn't the case.

Moments ago, instead of simulated disasters, they faced the real deal. A swirling portal of dark energy had ripped open in the plaza, spewing forth a legion of villains, each radiating an unsettling aura of malice.

The planned rescue exercises were replaced with a desperate fight for survival. They were scattered around the facility by Kurogiris quirk, randomly spitting them out in different parts of the zones.

Aizawa, hero name: Eraserhead, was busy dealing with a large amounts of villains in the central plaza, and Thirteen was incapacitated as they tried to help her.

A few handful that managed to avoid getting sucked into the villains gate portal were luckily still up on the entrance plaza. They had manage to successfully stall Kurogiri enough to the point their class president, Iida Tenya, had enough time to escape the facility and ran off to warn the teachers and authorities.

As Kurogiri retreated because of this blunder, the students there let out sighs of relief before wondering how the others are faring.

~*~*~*

Jue Viole Grace, otherwise known as the 25th Bam, found himself in an unfamiliar setting. His body felt heavy as the ease of sleep nearly whisked him away.

His eyes slowly fluttered open, waking up to the sound of rain hitting the ground, and as he opened his eyes, he was surrounded by a dark, ominous landscape.

He sat up, his body felt tired and fatigue. It wasn't a surprise after unleashing the thorn in that battle. It had taken quite a toll on his body, but at least the battle was over.

Yeah, he... They had won. Him and his friend were able to defeat Reflejo and escaped just in time before the boiling solition that poured down could consume them.

He remembers reaching for Endorsi's hand, and when they made contact, thats when he felt her use her bonbong.

She had teleported all of them to a safer location. They were all fine, and as they rested there for a bit...

His eyes widened as he suddenly recalled what happened after.

As he catched his breath, beneath his feet, he remembered the erie ripple distorting the ground. Before he or the others had time to react, a swirling portal had suddenly opened up beneath him.

He felt himself getting pulled in, and Khun and Rak grabbing onto each of his arm in desperation to save him, but their attempts proved futule.

The world spun violently as he was swallowed whole, the last thing he remembered were his close friend calling and shouting his name before darkness engulfing his senses, a cold grip pulling him down into an unknown abyss.

And now he was here.

He looked down at himself. He was still wearing the slayer outfit, consisting of a black robe, beige pants and clothes with the mark of FUG on the inside. (I know he was wearing something else during the workshop, and i know this isn't even practical, but who cares, he just looks so cool with this outfit on! I’m probably only making him wear this for this one event anyway😂)

Speaking of the thorn, it hovered over his right shoulder in a compressed form.

He glanced at it one more time before carefully pushing himself off the ground and stood, properly taking in his environment.

Even though his body was still dealing with the repercussions of using the thorn, he felt himself capable of walking around without help.

Cold rain plattered on him, and one look at his surroundings revealed concrete on all sides dampened by the rain. He was in an alley, though it was clean of any trash. The smell of rain permeated the air and the cold humidity stuck to his skin and robe.

It was obvious to him that he was no longer in the worshop battle or the 30th floor anymore.

What floor was he on right now, and where exactly was he?

He had just reunited with his friends and was close to escaping where FUG wouldn't reach him, but this...

Why couldn't he get a break? He thought to himself as he let out a sigh.

The alley was too clean, the rain too refreshing and not hampered by the non-existent smell of rotting trash.

Before he moved, he summoned his pocket and tried calling Khun and the rest of his friends, but oddly, the call ended before the call even went through.

Strange. He muttered to himself before vanishing his pocket.

He stepped forward, with questions on his mind about his current whereabouts and how he could return to his friends.

The alleyway opened into a wide street, barren of any people on the sidewalks and cars on the road. Lamp posts were dotted up and down the sidewalk and made the rain glow a pleasant gold.

He suddenly stopped in his steps when he heard battle cries... and explosions? Not an explosion, but vibrations of some form of heavy impact rumbled through the buildings.

He raised a brow before he crept back into the alley and towards the sound of battle.

He was nearly out of the alley when he saw the commotion happening in front of them. He saw two people that were around the same age as him.

One wore a dark cloak, and had the head of a black bird, and had a shadowy bird creature connected to him like an ethereal umbilical cord.

The one beside him had a strange head shaped like jagged stone.

The vibrant red and yellow costume stuck out against the darkness. He was oddly skittish though, his hands wrung together.

Their appearances didn't bother him. He's known that there were all kinds of unique humans and creatures in the tower. And one of his close friend is a talking alligator!

And on the ground near them were a few adults, unconscious with some injuries present on their bodies.

They looked like they were random thugs, but he shouldn't things like that.

The logical conclusion he came up with was that these two dealt with them. But who were they?

The one wearing the bright costume finally seemed to notice him standing there, and waived frantically at his avian companion and pointed.

“Another villain, huh? Come out and surrender!” He gestured to a thugs on the ground, “Or suffer the same fate as them."

They faced Viole and brought themselves into a fighting position. They weren't going to make the first move it seems. But their stances and posture led him to believe they weren't trained that much.

They both took in his appearance. There wasn't anything noteworthy about him other than that red crystal hovering above his shoulder, and his long brown hair that hid his eyes.

"Villain, huh? Do you know who i am?" Viole asked in a quiet voice.

This wasn't the first time he was called a villain. He was a slayer candidate of FUG, but even though the bird boy called him a villain, he didn't seem aware of his identity.

It was just a small detail he managed to notice. And another was that ethereal creature connected to the bird boys body... it wasn't a shinheuh... Was it?

Viole assumed he was an anima, but quickly wrote it off.

But it wasn't just that. It was like his surroundings... were different. They felt... different... Why?

He didn't have time to continue his thoughts as the bird boy glared at him, "You aren't fooling anyone! It doesn't matter who you, you attacked our classmates and teachers!"

Huh? Viole cocked his head to the side in a confused manner...

Wait, this was a misunderstanding. He doesn't exactly know what situation he's stumbed upon, but he shouldn't have even been here in the first place.

But at least they didn't know he had ties to FUG. There were a lot of supporters and haters for that group, and Viole wants nothing more than to escape from them.

"You're mistaken. I'm not here to attack you or your friends." Viole explained himself in a nice tone, although his face remained stoic, "I don't know how i got roped here, but I was hoping you'd answer some questions."

Bird Boy scoffed, not believing him, “You come here, invade our field trip, and have the gall to ask questions.”

Field trip? Viole raised a brow, although it wasn't apparent to the other two.

These two were students from the way they spoke about "teachers" and "classmates", so they have to be part of a school and education system.

He actually hasn't come across anything like that except for Seolhyangwon (The Fragrant Snow School). Well, hes only ever heard of it, but it was a sacred place for FUG, and was an Academy.

But this obviously wasn't that place. Now he was back to figuring out where he was, and why that portal brought him here?

His eyes narrowed at something before he raised an arm out, and the two students fell into battle stances the moment he did.

A small, almost imperceptible ripple formed in the air around his extended hand. A soft, ethereal glow emanated from the center of his palm, barely visible in the gloom.

The two boys braced themselves cautiously against this villain, as what seemed to be water was forming in the his palm.

A water quirk. Thats what they thought to themselves, preparing themselves for an altercation against this long haired person.

In a flash, the ethereal glow solidified. It coalesced into a tightly compacted sphere of Shinsu, a Baang, barely larger than a fist, yet radiating an immense, contained energy.

And the moment it did, the boys had not time to react before the projectile was launched at them... or more accurately, at the space between them...

There was a large impact noise and then a large crash, a sickening thud was heard behind them.

The boys eyes widened as they turned around. Several feets away from where their backs were, the building was damaged, several pieces had exploded outward, creating a crater.

And in that crater was a figure. A villain layed sprawled amidst the rubble, unconscious, his body contorted at an unnatural angle. His abdomen area was probably the worst, as it was the biggest injury he sustained.

Had this person... actually saved them?

Why? Was he really not with the villains then? If not, then why was he here?

Viole wasn't aiming for them when he used his baang. He noticed the figure sneaking up behind them, and felt he needed to deal with it.

Despite the fact that these two were hostile towards him, and for a good reason, he had to save them. Even if he exuded an air of indifference and coldness that made people scared of him, because of Rachael's betrayel and his time in FUG, he was still a caring person.

He still hasn't quite figured out what was going on yet, but he could tell that the ones on the ground and the person he had just fired a baang were bad people, and these two were just students that were defending themselves from attackers.

The two looked back at Viole, and started sweating a little. Even dark shadow seemed a bit nervous. The attack he used just then was too fast, a water projectile launched with deadly precision.

The villain certainly didn't see it coming. One moment he was sneering, feeling cocky as he snuck up behind these hero students brats and was about to end them, the next moment a searing pain ripped through his abdomen. The Baang slammed into him with the force of a runaway train.

There was no scream, no time for a sound to escape his lips. The impact launched him backwards, his body crumpling in mid-air, and crashing into the building.

Moving back to Viole, he was... perplexed as he gazed at his hand. Obviously to him, his body still hasn't fully recovered yet, but there was something off about the air when he first woke here, and when he had just used his shinsu, it was definitely apparent there was something odd.

There was still shinsu in the air, and yet it didn't feel the same either. He could still use it without any issue, there was no doubt about that, but he couldn't quite explain what was wrong…

His attention was brought back to the two boys staring at him. Gritiing his teeth, the bird boy asks, "Who... are you?"

His bangs obscured his eyes, and he repied quietly, "... No one of any importance..."

If they don't know who he was and what he was affiliated with, then that was good.

They stayed silent for a bit before Rocky pulled on Bird Boy’s cape like a child would their mother’s skirt. Bird Boy looked at him, Viole couldn’t understand Rocky’s wild hand movements, but he ended with jabbing a finger towards him.

"Fine." Bird boy released a sigh, knowing that it probably wasn't a good idea to engage in a fight with this person, "... What did you want to ask about it?"

"I've never seen any place like this in the tower. Where is this?"

"Tower? What does that have to do with anything?" Both of them seemed genuinely confused by that question.

Guess that was a no then, he thought.

"Then what floor are we on?" He asked another question, to which they were still confused about.

"What floor are you talking about?" No deception were in their tones as they shared equally confused looks, "We're in the USJ. I'd assume you'd know that if you're here."

Tokoyami and Koda were starting to think he wasn't actually a part of the villain that invaded the USJ.

He definitely didn't seem to be lying and seemed definitely confused by his surrounding. Then was he caught in the warp gate villains quirk without knowing it?

Did he stumble upon the villain group before this? Was he just in the wrong place wrong time when he got warped here in the USJ?

Viole was left wide eyed, although it couldn't be seen because of his hair, as he tried to make sense of where he was.

Whater this USJ, he obviously never heard of it before. They obviously didn't seem familiar with the tower either. It could be ignorance that they don't know about the tower they're residing in, but he thinks that wasn't the case.

Call it intuition.

"Do you know what an irregular is?"

"Like a math term?"

Nope. They didn't about an irregular either.

"... Then last question, do you know what shinsu is?"

At that, they shook their head.

Once again, they didn't seem to be lying. The one with the bird head obviously had some abilities, his shadowy creature cautiously looking at him, but there was no shinsu involved.

And they obviously didn't understand what shinsu was either. But how could that be?

All residents of the tower know what shinsu was. It existed everywhere in the towe and used in various ways. Shinsu was essential to all living beings in the Tower, enabling their survival in multiple ways.

.

.

.

Unless...

If they don't know about it, plus the tower, then could that mean...

It was a hunch. He just wasn't very sure of it right now. They didn't know what an irregular was, or about shinsu.

It was definitely plausible, as in addition to everything else, he couldn't feel the presence of an administrator. Though the only thing that stood out a bit to him was how they could understand each other.

If he really was outside the tower, then how was he still able to perceive and use the surrounding shinsu?

This subtle energy in the air, even if it felt different, it was still shinsu. So why did it exist on the outside?

Was he really outside the tower? As far as he knew, no one has made it outside the tower.

Was it jut a fuke that he ended up here then?

He let out a sigh. If only Khun was here. He would've been able to figure out his situation much faster if he was here.

He wasn't as smart his him, but he wasn't here right now. He was alone and had to figure this out himself.

As he finished his thoughts, a loud booming voice could be heard far away from them.

"Its fine now! I am here!"

It was in the distance, and yet they could hear his voice.

"All mights here!" The bird boy let out a grin, looking at his quiet companion and shadow, sharing smiles of relief.

Felling curious and realizing he needed more information, he decided to head in the direction where he heard that booming voice.

He didn't know who this "All Might" was, but If those kids acted that way when they heard his voice, then he must be some kind of protector.

Maybe things will start making sense if he head there.

As the two boys glance back at him, he had already jumped on top of a rooftop before they could say anything and left the two kids behind.

Eventually, he found himself in front of a metal door, surrounded on all sides by a wall with a roof that rose over their heads like a dome.

"This place feels artificial... it is, huh?" It was some kind of simulation, he muttered to himself, "Well, this seems to be the exit, so..."

Well, not wanting to waste more time, he placed a hand on the metal door and used shinsu to effortlessly destroy it. He was unbothered by the explosion he made, his hair swayed and his robe fluttered from the gust he caused.

He immediately ran through, not expecting anything to he familiar.

His surroundings became clear, and he realized this place was much bigger than he thought. He was in a glass dome, much bigger than the one he just came out of.

It seems the small dome he had just exited was just a section of bigger facility.

There were other about 6 areas, like the one behind him, that felt like they were for simulation and practice. And to his left were stairs that led to a platform and two large blue gates, which was likely the exit to this place.

And he noticed on that platform were a handful of students huddled together. None of them even noticed him, as they looked on at what was happening in the center plaza.

many bodies were spread out around the outskirts there, unconscious or groaning from their injuries. There, by a great broken fountain, was a giant black being. Not like the avian shadow that Bird Boy controlled, this one was built like a tower of pure muscle. Its eyes were wide and unblinking, devoid of any discernible intelligence, it’s brain was exposed to open air.

To his side were two others. One was a lanky young man with pale blue hair. Along with severed hands, morbidly preserved, clung to his body, most notably covering his face.

The other one was a swirling mass of dark purple mist formed his body, anchored only by a metal brace around his neck. Two glowing yellow eyes, cold and intelligent, pierced through the smoky shroud.

They stood in front of a towering figure with a muscular and well-defined physique, blonde hair, and two distinct tufts that stick up slightly to each side. This guy was likely the one with the booming voice he had earlier.

He also appeared to be injured as he clutched over his abdomen area, where blood had stained that part of his shirt, before moving it away and clenching his fist.

Off to the side not far from him were three kids the same age as the two others he met in that simulated rain dome. Most of them wore bright and strange outfits.

The most distinctive thing about them were their hair color. One of them had green, the other spiky ash blonde, the next one spiky red hair, and the last one having dual colored hair, red and white.

Glancing up at the entrance once her, he thought of definitely leave this place to reunite with his friends as soon as possible.

But another part of him wanted him to stay so he could observe more. He could likely guess that those 3 kids were classmates with bird and quiet boy.

And those 3 other 3 that stood in front of them were definitely the evil guys. They weren't even trying to hide their malicious intent.

Well, instead of involving himself right away, he was just going to observe them for now. If the giant protector and the three kids were in any danger, then he would step in. Even after all the things hes been through and all of the shitty and evil things he was forced to do while under FUG, he still didn't want to see innocent people die.

He wasn't heroic by any means. He had to see people, innocent or not, suffer and die by his own hands or watched from the sidelines because ordered him to.

It wasn't his decision to make, but he still went through with it. It always frustated him. He couldn't do anything because if he didn't follow, his friends would be killed off one by one.

But now, FUG wasn't here, at least he hoped so. So intervening in this situation would be his own decision.

Should he have to face that bird monster, it definitely had an advantage in the physical department, but he would more than make up for it with Shinsu.

The big muscled man talked with the kids, and the conversation they had was just audible enough for him to hear since he was close.

"Let us back you up, All Might!"

"You would've been in trouble if I hadn't used my ice to save you, right?" The bi-colored hair boy said.

"That was a different story, young Todoroki. Thanks." The man known as All Might said before flexing a fist, "But its fine.just watch as a pro gives it everything he's got."

Then the greem haired boy spoke, "But, All Might, you're bleeding.. Besides time—" he stopped himself for some reason.

All Might merely gave them a thumbs up of reassurance before getting ready to fight again, so that these students wouldn't have to.

"Nomu, Kurogiri. Get him. I'll deal with the children." Surprisingly the one in charge of this evil organization seemed to be the lanky young man with severed hands all over his body.

Immediately the two hulking figures clashed. Despite what he had proclaimed earlier, the other two weren't even able to get close to him or the childrens.

Their fists colliding with each others caused powerful shockwaves around them, sending gust and wind everywhere.

The same went for the kids as well. They were having a hard time trying to hold their footing, otherwise they would be blown away just from the shockwaves they created.

And even from where he stood, Viole could feel wind reach him as his hair and robe and fluttered. To the other spectators these two were like blurs, but Viole was just barely keeping up with their movements.

As he watched these two beasts clash, he noticed once again how no shinsu was used at all. It was obvious these two had super strength, no shinsu body reinforcement either, and the bird monster definitely had some kind of regeneration ability.

One of his arm got blown off from All Mights hits. The monster stood, and the stump of its arm had begun to wriggle, before it bursts outwards, and solidifies itself into a limb once more and they continued fighting.

He's never quite seen regeneration on that scale before. At least not any of the regulars he's met that could heal was able to do that.

This once again drived home the fact that he might be on the outside...

The pale blue haired villain laughed as the two behemoths bash at each other to no avail. “You can’t beat him, All Might. Nomu is engineered to beat you. Even if you somehow bypass Shock Absorption, he can regenerate faster than you can punch.”

The number one hero roars, and throws another volley of punches, sending the Nomu back. “So what? If this thing was made to defeat me at 100%, then ill just have to go beyone that, I'll go... Beyond Plus Ultra!”

Overtime it definitely seemed like that bird monster was slowly getting overwhelmed. All Might drew back his arm, then swung, and the shockwave was enough to send the onlookers a step back.

His flurry of punches are enough to stagger the bird creature, before he pulled back once again and delivered a devastating and powerful punch right in the middle of his chest.

The black creature was blown away and crashed into the water, maybe about 200 meters offshore.

~*~*~*

All Might shuddered as he struggled to maintain his muscled form. Steam rolled off his body in waves. To the casual observer, it may have appeared to be smoke from after the strenuous battle that took place, but All Might knew better.

He had about 2 or so minutes left before his muscle form gave out completely.

The area around him was ruined completely. Craters dotted the floor, trees lay shattered nearby, and smoke billowed out from ruined pipes and wires underneath the asphalt.

The aftermath of the intense battle with the villain, Noumu.

It had been a grueling one, with a lot of pain and effort, but he was able to drive the villain back.

Unfortunately, he didn't have enough strength in him to launch it out of USJ completely, but sending it flying into the faux ocean should be able to put it out of commission for the time being.

The number one hero stole a quick glance to his left. Awed eyes stared back. His students were in shock, if open mouths and wide eyes were any indication. The only person who didn't seem too awed was his protégé, young Midoriya. Horror filled his features as he realized what exactly was going on.

As the ninth holder for One for All, only Izuku Midoriya understood the full weight of the situation. He knew about All Might's injury and what the steam represented.

Despite this, All Might forced a smile, even as his muscles screamed in protest. Shaking ever so slightly, he turned towards two individuals in front of him, one looking obviously distressed.

"I really have gotten weaker," His voice boomed. He slammed a fist into his chest. "In my prime, it would have only taken 5 hits to take him out. But it took more than 300 hits."

Shigaraki Tomura snarled as he reached up to scratch is neck, which was already bleeding slightly. "Hey, that Noumu was supposed to be able to take on All Might. Did Teacher lie to me? All Might's still alive, isn't he?!"

All Might frowned a bit. Teacher? So this man in front of him wasn't the ringleader this entire time? Who was?

He watched as the other villain leaned over to whisper in Shigaraki's ear.

"The Noumu is not defeated yet, Shigaraki Tomura," Kurogiri said, his smoky body swirling slightly.

"The Noumu is not defeated yet, Shigaraki Tomura," Kurogiri said, his smoky body swirling slightly. "I can sense it has not been destroyed. If you can call it over, I am sure it can finally deal the finishing blow to the Symbol of Peace."

"... Not to mention, we still have underlings who can be used." He referred to the various villains that were picking themselves up from the ground.

A couple seconds passed as the villain processed this information. Then a sinister smile cracked across his dry face. "Well, you tried, All Might."

The muscled man froze, his smile dipping slightly. No…

Shigaraki threw his head back, the many hands on his body shaking with the sudden movement. "Nomu! Get back up!"

A second later, a wave of water surged forward, drawing the attention of All Might and his students. The pro hero's eyes widened with horror.

Just a couple meters away stood the black form of the hulking villain.

The pro hero's eyes widened with horror, and the hero students tensed up.

Comparing their conditions, it was obvious the Nomu was in better shape than All might was. It was still unscathed even after all of that.

Shigaraki's rasping laughter echoed through the plaza, a chilling counterpoint to All Might's labored breathing. "You're barely keeping it together, All Might! You're exhausted, aren't you?"

The words hung in the air, a grim truth that settled heavily on the students of Class 1-A.

Midoriya already knew about his heros weakness, it was a secret that only a few people knew. He was barely holding it to keep his muscle form from fading.

"No…" Izuku whispered. "Even with more than 100%, he's still not down?"

The other three beside him didn't know, refusing to believe the number one hero could ever lose.

The blonde hero readied himself, knowing the Nomu was going to charge at him as soon as it heard Shigarakis orders. One last stand. One last stand to protect his students. "Everyone, run now. The other pro heroes should be coming soon."

The green-haired student's eyes widened. "No, we can't do that! Just run, All Might, retreat for now!"

The other students stood up shakily, all ready to fight or run. "Hey, hey, hey," a spiky haired student muttered, "Isn't this bad?"

Another let small sparks ignite in his palms before grinning manically... and fearfully? "Run? Don't make me laugh, All Might. This is... nothing. The heroes always wins in the end, after all!"

The others agreed, although some were a little less willing and a little more torn. Izuku panicked slightly.

The main issue was All Might. Was he able to keep his true form a secret from everyone else? Could he carry the pro hero away?

The other problem was if he could pull off another 100% smash. His limbs didn't break when he punched the Noumu earlier, so he could. But, it did nothing to it last time.

No... now was not the time to think about this. There was only time for action. He needed to take action, whether he was powerful or not, he wouldn't abandon him. He was going to be a hero!

Shigaraki was amused by their sense of hope, "Ah, so sickening.

Sensing his advantage, he gave the order. "Nomu, finish him!" He then spoke to his minions that just woke up "And you, handle the extras! Let’s ruin All Might and these future heroes!"

The Nomu lunged, a blur of muscle and mutated flesh. Lesser villains surged forward, eager to inflict pain on the promising young heroes.

The four readied themselves, and all All Might could do was watch on with horror and frustration. The pro hero grits his teeth and clenched a fist, “Move, body, move! Dammit! I can't leave this this to the childrens...”

The black beast drew close to All Might as the minions were closing in on the students.

Shigaraki smirked as he raised his arms in victory. "Game over, All Might!"

Then, it happened, abruptly after he proclaimed victory. Suddenly, a figure intercepted.

A flash of black fabric cut between them, a dark blur disrupting the chaos.

Before the Nomu could deal the killing blow, it was pushed back by what seemed to be water.

Everyone eyes, including the students that were near the entrance, were on this mysterious figure that appeared out of nowhere. Even Shigarakis minions paused in their attempts.

A young man (or woman?) with long chestnut colored hair in a narrow ponytail, a bit disheveled, and a black robe. They weren't able to see the persons eyes, his long bangs obscuring it.

But the thing that caught their eye the most was the red crystal hovering above his shoulder. Was that some sort of accessory or something?

"You! You're not one of my pawns, or a student,” The blue haired leader scratched angry red lines into his neck, “I don’t know you. Are you a DLC character?”

Viole remained quiet and stood still, pissing off Shigaraki even more.

As for the rest of the spectators, they had a lot of questions floating around. Up near the entrance, they wondered whered this person come from, and if it was a hero or another villain.

Up closer to the fight, All might didn't know who this stranger was, but he was thankful. He looked a bit young, probably as old as his students, and had a strong water quirk to push the Nomu back quite a distance.

He had unknowingly saved him.

Although there wasn't much to go on, this person was a complete unknown. He didn't appear hostile towards him or his students, and at least he bought them extra time.

Viole turned his head to glance at the three students, and then at the form of All Might, but while he was did this, The villains grew restless.

"What are you waiting for, finish off the students already!" Shigaraki shouted, as everyone besides Viole tensed up. He wasn't about to let this random foil his plan, "I'll handle the noob player. And nomu, kill All Might!"

He rushed forward towards Viole, as his grunts made their way over to the students, and the Nomu at All Might.

Shigaraki grew a victorious grin. These hero students and All Might were outnumbered, and there was nothing they could do!

And this random that appeared! He'll make an example out of this noob for interfering and trying to be a hero.

That was what he thought. Before he could even reach him, he felt pain on the side of ribs as he fell on the floor, clutching his sides and screaming in pain.

"Shigaraki Tomura!" Kurogiri immediately went to his side and checked on him.

But it wasn't just Shigaraki that was on the ground. All of his henchmen were now unconscious, sporting noticeable and harsh injuries on parts of their bodies.

Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Kirishima could only gape at the stranger. The moment he brought forth several water orbs, it was over in an instant.

Their emotion of awe shifted, mixed with a healthy dose of apprehension. Just exactly who was this person, and what were his intentions?

It was easy for Bam to create multiple baangs, 5 of them this time, which was enough to deal with the grunts and the ringleader.

But the problem was the Nomu.

Midoriya, even though it probably wasn’t the time for it, analyzed the persons quirk as much as he could with what hes seen. His quirk was devastating and efficient, and he hadn't moved at all!

He didn't move from that spot, only had a single hand raised out... towards All Might direction— Midoriya's eyes widened!

While this strange boy was dealing with the lackeys, the Nomu had headed for All Might!

His eyes grew fearful, seeing the Nomu with its arm already struck down.

He expected his hero, bloodied and lifless on the floor, a thought that scared and horrified him... but that wasn't the case.

His eyes widened for the umpteen amount of time, the Nomu fist had struck something, but it didn't reach All Might.

In between All Might and the Nomus fist was a... barrier?

He felt a wave of relief wash over him, knowing that his mentor was still here with them, and then realized that it was probably that boy was the cause of it.

He had a hand stretched out towards All Might direction. 3 cubes had hovered in the air by All Might, forming a triangle and projecting some kind of barrier to stop the Nomus punch.

It obviously must've been his doing. But how? Midoriya only thought this person had a powerful water quirk, so could he be like Todoroki, then?

"What the hell!" Shigaraki forced himself up, coughing up blood as his eyes were red, full of hatred and anger, "You're some kind of secret boss, aren't you?!

The Nomu kept punching the barrier, and Viole could feel it almost breaking already. Luckily, the leader made a quite rash decision out of frustration.

"I hate DLC's like you! Nomu! Fucking kill this guy!"

Filled with more undeniable rage and hatred, he wanted to see this guy get beaten to a bloody pulp. For attacking and going against him!

Blinded by this emotion, he forgot his original goal. To destroy the symbol of piece.

"Young man, run!" All Might shouted, coughing up a bit of blood, knowing he couldn't do anything to help.

He pushed past his limits once again, forcing himself to remain in this form for as long as it took, "Dammit!"

The beast, hearing the order, turned around just as the barrier broke to face Viole, and had immediately charged at him!

Viole didn't waste anytime either, coating his fists in shinsu. The vibrant, almost ethereal blue energy crackled around his hands and faced the Nomu head on.

"Shigaraki, this isn't—"

"Shut up, Kurogiri!" He refused to listen to reason after everything that's happened. Everything single thing that didn't go his way because of these abrupt and unexpected circumstances.

He was absolutely livid.

The spectators gazed at it as Viole charged forward to meet the Nomu in fight.

This was better, Viole thought as he dodged a fist and struck the Nomus side.

He knew from watching earlier, that the beast would respond to the leaders command only.

With the way it is now, the monster would only be focused on him and no one else had to get hurt.

The air shimmered around his knuckles as he struck, leaving a trail of blue light. Each blow landed with a sickening crunch, but the creature barely flinched.

Its thick skin absorbed the impact with unsettling ease. Well, he expected it. Just from observationthe previous fight, this "Nomu" obviously outclassed him in strength and durability.

His main position was a wave controller, but he had some aspects of a fisherman too, among other things. He wasn't the best when it came to a fist fight, but he was far from the worst.

Those lessons with Jinsung and Hwaryun made him stronger and faster, learning new skills and techniques.

The Nomu swiped his arm down at him again, and Viole's speed barely allowed him to dodge. A punch that cratered the ground where he'd been standing.

That said, it did graze him a bit across the cheek, drawing a small line of blood.

He could feel his heart racing, knowing the only advantages he holds against the creature was "Shinsu" "Techniques", and the only aspect he matched the creature in was "Speed."

He danced around the Nomu's attacks, using Shinsu to augment his movements, weaving through the onslaught with impossible grace. He landed blows of his own, focusing his energy into precise strikes, aiming for weak points.

But it wasn't enough.

He met the Nomus fist with his own, the impact almost leaving his knuckles broken and blowing his arm back a bit.

He was unbalanced and the Nomu aimed for his head, but Viole managed to maneuver his body by bending backwards, narrowly dodging, before employing reverse flow control on the beast.

The beast wasn't as strong as a ranker, so it wouldn't be able to shrugg off the effects of reverse flow control that easily like Quant or Love did.

The ones near them were perplexed, seeing how the Nomu didn't move an inch after that.

"Another quirk?" Midoriya thought, but he wasn't alone in thinking that. This boy had completely stopped the Nomus momentum.

Using this chance, Viole struck the monster's chest, using the Floral Butterfly Piercing Technique. A signature move of FUG.

The Nomu stumbled back, the force of Viole's palm strike echoing through its monstrous frame.

This move would've incapacitated most opponents, and the Nomu was still standing, The creature's skin was tougher than any Viole had encountered, but the Floral Butterfly Piercing Technique seemed to work against it, even if just slightly.

The air grew tense, charged with the sudden gusts of wind that accompanied Viole's powerful attack. His hair fluttered wildly around him, revealing his golden-brown eyes briefly before they were hidden again by his long bangs.

Viole's strike had also managed to disrupt its usual swift recovery process. Still, despite the damage, the creature was far from defeated.

The Nomus attack was just slightly slower for a few seconds before it regained its speed and power. It was likely trying to repair the damage on its inside. The creature's regeneration was slowing, but not enough to leave it vulnerable for long.

"So it only staggered it for just a while, huh..." He was a bit bummed out, the technique was one of his most powerfull attacks in arsenal, before biting his lips and glancing at the thorn.

Their fight continued on as everyone watched from where they were at. No one moved, just gawking at the way the stranger was handling himself against the monster that was supposed to be able to take on All Might.

All might clenched his fist tighter, feeling a bit hopeful that this young man could take on the beast that gave him a hard time, or at least hold him off until backup arrives.

He was also feeling guilty that he had to rely on a child to deal with this. This boy likely didn't have his license and was committing vigilatism, but that didn't matter at the moment.

"If only I wasn't so pathetic... dammit!" All Might thought to himself. There wasn't any option left other than to rely on this boy.

The 4 students, much like everyone else, had open mouths, staring at the scene playing out before their eyes.

"W-Wow." Kirishima muttered with a shaky smile, wiping the sweat off his head, "This guys incredible!"

Even Todoroki and Bakugo had to admit it too. None of them were quick enough to react to the Nomu, but this guys did.

He was young and likely the same age as them too. For these two, who only cared about the being the strongest, they couldn't deny this person was much much stronger than them.

Bakugo's eyes narrowed, his fists clenching at his sides. "What the hell? How can some random be this strong?" His voice was tinged with both amazement and irritation, his pride as the class's number one slightly bruised by the sheer skill this guy was exhibiting.

Even more than he witnessed Todoroki's overwhelming ice powers from the other day at training.

Todoroki, on the other hand, was calm but focused, his gaze never leaving Viole's form.

"So strong..." Todoroki murmured, his breath hitching as he watched the display of skills and powers. He had more than one quirk, just like him.

His face hardened, unconsciously clenching his fists. He had thought that everyone his age wasn't nearly strong as him, and that was true. None of his classmates, in the hero course of the best hero school in the country, would be a match against him.

But this guy fighting the Nomu, he clearly exceeded him in everything.

Bakugo, however, was visibly agitated. He couldn't stand being outshone, not by some newcomer who had waltzed into the facility out of nowhere and started throwing around power like it was nothing. His fists clenched tighter, knuckles turning white. "What's his deal?" he spat, his voice tight with frustration. "Who does he think he is?"

Their eyes were glued to Viole, his every move a testament to skill and strength beyond their years.

They wouldn't have a chance against him as they were right now, they thought.

"Its not just his quirk. The way he moves, his judgment, application skills. All of his abilities... are strong!" Midoriya said.

His mind raced with questions about this mysterious fighter's origins and training. He knew that to be a true hero, he would have to push his own abilities to new heights.

The sight of someone the same age as them with mastery of their quirk in exceptional combat was both humbling and inspiring, a sign of his own limitations at the moment. And everyone else thought the same to themselves as well.

Despite being so young, he had the powers and skills of a pro. Someone like All Might! It was a fact that made them feel awe and envy.

Shigaraki, holding one arm to his abdomen, and the other furiously scratching at his neck, "Shit, shit, shit! You've got hacks! This was supposed to be game over, secret boss!"

He couldn't believe it. He doesn't want to believe it! The Nomu was supposed to be strong enough to take on All Might, so how the hell was this guy even keeping up with it?!

Kurogiri felt the same, except he didn't show much of it and was less emotional.

Viole knew it wasn't a good idea to keep this battle from going on. It wasn't going anywhere at this rate.

Using the floral butterfly piercing technique would only push it back and slow it down for a while.

He was going to run out of stamina at this rate. He needed to find to end this quickly and defeat the creature, or send it away to where that purple mist guy wouldn't be able to reach it or hear the leaders order.

He sweeped the feet, not losing momentum, coating his legs in shinsu and performed a cartwheel kick on the bird monsters face.

The Nomu shook it off after a second and pounced, but Viole got back up on his feet and moved away.

Viole gaze fell upon the crimson crystal hoverine above his right shoulder— Enryu's Thorn. A weapon of immense power, a fragment of unimaginable force that was now part of him.

A power he couldn't control yet. The first and only time he used it was against Refeljo, the strain nearly broke him. To use it now, in his weakened state, in this unknown world, could be even worse.

He knew that the students were powerless against this creature. And that powerful "All Might" guy wasn't going to recover and join the fight anytime soon.

He wouldn't stand idly by and let this creature cause any more harm to anyone else! He made up his mind.

If only he suffered, and that allow others to he safe, he doesn't really care.

Well, its not like he was going to win at this rate. Might as well use everything, he thought.

He stood still, closing his eyes just as the Nomu ran towards him frighteningly fast.

As the Nomu charged, a wave of raw power pulsed from Viole. His eyes snapped open, burning with an even greater determination.

The crimson crystal above his shoulder ignited, bathing the area in an eerie glow. Crimson sparks erupted, dancing around him like miniature suns.

A shockwave ripped through the air, throwing the Nomu back several feet.

The force of the ignition unleashed a fierce gust, a heavy wind that rippled through the crowd. All might and the students cried out, and instinctively raised their arms to shield themselves.

Those that were the closets struggled to keep their footing, the ground beneath them trembling as the wind threatened to lift them off their feet.

They stared in disbelief, their faces etched with confusion and terror. What the hell was that?! They thought.

"He had a secret weapon?!" Shigaraki thought as he was held by Kurogiri to keep him from

Viole stood at the epicenter of the storm. He could feel himself surging with amplified power, thanks to the thorn.

He wasn't feeling anything right now, but he knew exhaustion and strain would only hit him afterwards. Right now, (and just like the first time) he thinks he has about less than a minute before his body couldn't handle anymore.

If he decides to push himself and exceed that limit, then he risks the thorn overtaking his mind and body, and going berserk.

He couldn't have that. He'd just have to win in that time!

The crystal pulsed, its crimson light intensifying, and two small rings on the thorn.

He felt it, jut like the fist time. His ability to control shinsu and his overall prowess— the thorn had drastically boosted them greatly!

He didn't waste another second, going straight for the Nomu and leaving a crater at where he just was.

The Nomu threw a punch, which viole ducked under and hit the creature with another floral butterfly piercing technique.

This time, being much more effective. It was pushed back much farther too, but he didn't let up.

Viole knew he was running out of time. He coated his fists in swirling blue shinsu, each strike strong enough to leave heavy dents on the Nomus sturdy body.

He aimed for vital points, exploiting the creature's lack of intelligence. He pushed his body to the absolute limit, ignoring the searing pain that threatened to overwhelm him.

He drew upon every last drop of shinsu he could muster, gathering it around his body, his eyes glowing with an intensity that mirrored the energy surrounding him. He would have to put everything into this last attack.

He charged, a blur of motion and raw power. The creature roared, meeting his charge with another earth-shattering blow. This time, Viole didn't block. He weaved, ducked, and danced between the creature's attacks, his movements fluid and unpredictable.

While doing so, he sent multiple baangs at its blind spots, staggering the creature further.

He channeled his shinsu into his legs, his speed increasing exponentially. He moved like a phantom, a whirlwind of power, too fast for the creature to track. He circled around it, building momentum, compressing the Shinsoo in his fist to an unimaginable density.

And stopped behind the beast. Its back was turned towards him, and it would have no time to react to this.

Finally, he struck. He slammed his palm into creature's back, unleashing a more powerful floral butterfly piercing technique thanks to the thorn. The energy erupted outwards, a shockwave of pure power that ripped through the air.

With the amount of large scale and fast attacks inflicted on the beast, its impressive regeneration ability couldn't keep at that rate. The force of Viole's blow tore through the flesh and some bones of its back.

The regeneration, though rapid, couldn't keep up with the sheer destructive force, and with a final, earth-shattering crash, it was launched through the roof of the USJ.

Unlike with All Might, he was able to send the Nomu out of the facility.

But that wasn't all. The destruction was also greater than anyone could imagine.

The initial point of impact webbed with cracks, then exploded outwards. The sound was deafening, a screeching, groaning crescendo as every single pane of glass in the massive dome shattered simultaneously.

A hailstorm of razor-sharp shards rained down upon the collapsed zones.

Todoroki was the first one to react, creating a wall of ice that covered over to his classmates and All Might.

Thankfully, his other classmates were also safe. With a stroke of luck, it was a miracle none of them got cuts with the way pieces of glass fell on them.

Viole remained standing, unmoving, as the echoes of the explosion faded. His hair, usually neatly kept, now flailed wildly around his face, caught in the lingering currents of Shinsoo. His simple robe, which had concealed so much, fluttered open, revealing a dark symbol emblazoned on the fabric beneath.

Silence permeated the atmosphere, with the students and All Might still coming to grips at what exactly had happened.

As wind no longer kicked up, they suddenly saw him drop to ond knee. He could be seen panting as he hunched over, coughing a bit of blood on the ground, his body aching, his shinsu reserves depleted. The weight of the battle hung heavy on his shoulders.

And now, as the adrenaline faded, the weight of it all seemed to crash down on him. The thorn wasn’t active anymore.

The blue-haired villain started tearing into his neck, faster and more violent than before. His eyes bulged out of their sockets, and the hand over his face did nothing to muffle his screams. "Hacks! Fucking hacks! You cheated!"

Kurogiri was quick to rush to his accomplice's side. "Shigaraki Tomura! Calm yourself!"

The villain paid no attention. Overcome with rage that he seemingly forgot about his injuries, he sprinted over to the bald man. "You're gonna pay for that, you hacker! I'll turn you into fucking dust!"

Shots rang out from the distance. Blood suddenly spurted out from gunshot wounds all over Shigaraki's arms and legs.

The villain fell uselessly on the ground, with Kurogiri using his smoky body to block any more bullets.

And then they were gone after the mist disappeared, having teleported away.

Silence permeated the atmosphere, with the students and All Might still coming to grips at what exactly had happened.

Up on top of the stairs by the gate. The heroes of UA were here, along with the police force.

"Sorry were late, everyone! I gathered all who were immediately available!" The principal of UA spoke, perched on top of Vlads shoulder.

The students near them felt more relieved, tearing up a bit.

"I, Tenya Iida, class 1-A representative, have now returned!" Iida announced as he arrived back after warning the authorities about what was happening at the USJ.

There was a lot of new stuff that was happening behind him. But even that, Viole couldn't exactly hear properly or get a clear head at the moment.

Damn it. All of his sense were getting messed up! It really was worse than the last time! He had pushed himself much harder this time!

"Split up and protect the students!"

Snipe had aimed his gun at Viole, taking him for another villain and was about to pull the trigger to incapacitate him before All Mights voice reached him from the central plaza.

"Wait, Snipe!"

Viole stood up on shaky legs. He didn't want to lose consciousness again.

Panting, he turned around towards the 4 students several feet away from him, and the big blond that was All Might.

Maybe it was his vision getting worse too, as it looked like half of All Mights face was different too, more hollow, so he was likely imagining it.

He swayed slightly, his breath coming in ragged, shallow gasps. His breath rasped in his throat, each inhale a laborious effort.

His eyes became blurry, everyting blurring into indistinct shapes. He swayed, the ground beneath him feeling unstable, treacherous.

He had just won that fight with the bird creature, but he was now losing... Losing the battle against his own body.

He tried to fight the immense fatigue, he still wanted information... but he stumbled, his legs refusing to cooperate any longer.

He gritted his teeth, feeling weak and hopeless. As he fell to the ground, darkness consumed his vision.

Yeah, decided to rewrite the story a bit and introduce Garam a chapter or two later instead. Probably

Outside the USJ.

The students of class 1-A stood a few feet away from entrance. They were told to wait, to let the professionals handle the aftermath.

The heroes and Police force worked together, directing paramedics, securing the perimeter, and collecting the apprehended villains.

The impressive facade of the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, once a symbol of their future heroism, was partially destroyed.

A stark reminder of what had just occurrd here.

Multiple armored vehicles, prison buses and police cars were stationed and parked here, showing the severety of the situation

"... 17, 18, 19, and 20. Everyone seems to be unharmed." He noted. No one was missing.

As they talked amongst themselves, detective Tsukauchi did a headcount to make sure all of them were present.

They were still quite shaken, but at least none of them were injured. With the amount of damage done to this place, they were quite lucky to come out unscathed.

After he was done, he excused himself to talk with Sansa.

These villains were getting bolder, and they've sure made their point across. An attack like this was unprecedented, and they almost succeeded in their goal too.

It certainly didn't help hearing that there was an unknown out there, powerful enough to fight the beast that All Might had lost to.

And he didn't appear to be on the side of heroes or villains. A vigilante.

Before All Might was sent off secretly to the UA's nurse along with Aizawa, he had informed him of what had happened as much as he could.

He was also responsible for shattering all of the glass in the USJ.

A young man, presumably the same age as the students here, had arrived him and stopped the beast.

This was a serious event, and they’d have to investigate seriously, looking into any information about this villain group, its ringleader, and this vigilante.

"I see, so the people you've fought were also hooligans?" Tokoyami inquired.

"They underestimated us because we were kids!" Kirishima bumped his fist together, before bringing something else up, "Still, this has been one crazy day, huh? I honestly didn't think we would've won without him?"

"All Might?"

"Well, yeah, obviously him. But there was another person, one with long brown hair. He was so manly!"

This caused most of the other students to pause and pay attention. Those that saw it obviously had questions about the person, wondering if he was some new hero, while the others were confused.

"What person are you perhaps referring to, Kirishima-san?" Yaoyarozu asked.

She along with Jirou, Kaminari, Ojiro, Tokoyami, Koda were still in their respective zones, and Iida had just arrived at the end, so they had no idea who they were referring to.

"Right, you weren't there, were you? You should've seen him, he took those bastards so easily with his quirk. And the way he fought the Nomu was just so cool and manly!"

"Was this person really that incredible?" Jiro asked as she twriled her earphone jack with a finger.

Kirishima sported a shaky grin, pointing at the top of the USJ, where the glass was no longer there and only the steel frame structure were left.

"He's the one destroyed all the glass when he blew that beast away! Isn't that cool?!" He said, causing the rest of his classmates faces to morph into disbelief and shock.

"So he was the cause..."

"Thats some crazy power... I thought it was All Might..."

The conversation quickly shifted focus. The enigmatic figure that seemingly came out of nowhere were now occupying their thoughts.

Some more than others.

Tokoyami shared a glance with Koda, wondering if they were thinking of the same person...

"Did this person have a black robe on? And some kind of weird crystal?"

"Huh? Uh, yeah? How'd you know, I thought you weren't there."

Releasing a sigh, Tokoyami explained, "We didn't, but Koda and I came across him in our zone, and mistook him for a villain."

"Really?!"

Tokoyami nodded slowly, "Yeah, although strange, he was very powerful... we didn't see him for very long before he disappeared."

Koda sent a worried look towards Tokoyami as he saw him with clenched his fists, recalling the brief interaction they had with him.

"You four were the closest to the battle. What was it like?" Sero spoke up, asking Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Kirishima.

The four perked up, and Midoriya tensing up a bit as everyones eyes went to them.

Everyone looked at them, waiting for one of them to speak up.

Those that saw him, a young man, seemingly their age, with long brown hair, clad in a dark robe, they didn't think much.

But once he fought, his appearance would be ingrained in their memories.

"You should've seen him! The way he moved and fought, it was like watching a pro in action." Kirishima said excitedly.

Midoriya nodded, "The way he carried himself and fought, it really did feel like that watching him. He was not only strong, but skilled as well. Aizawa Sensei wasn't able to do anything against it despite erasing the Nomus quirk, so to be able to keep up with it's physicality is just incredible! And his quirk, its like he has multiple quirks. Or maybe its just one quirk that's extremely versatile. He migjt be the same age as us, too! Is he already a hero? He must be a genius. Who is—" Without even realizing it, he was muttering.

"Shut the hell up, Deku!" Fed up, Bakugo shouted at him, causing Midoriya to let out an 'eep' and cover his mouth.

A flicker of envy crossed Bakugo's face. "Tch. there isn’t much to talk about, just had a flashy Quirk."

"That kind of power... it was incredible," Todoroki finally spoke up, his voice low.

Iida, ever the class representative, cleared his throat. "While I am grateful for his assistance, I must point out the excessive property damage he caused in his fight," he stated, chopping his hand robotically as he gestured to dome of the USJ.

"Dude, lighten up." Kaminari casually said.

Off to the side, as Tsukauchi talks with Sansa, another police officer went up to him. Behind him were several other officers leading a giant figure, in bindings and cuffs.

"So thats the Nomu All Might was talking about..." Tsukauchi thought to himself.

He got the report. It was captured in a grove of trees on school grounds. He has no apparent injury, and was docile, not resisiting capture.

He doesn't respond when being called out to, so he is thought to be mute.

The students all grew tense as they laid eyes on the Nomu, this time in heavy amounts of binding and cuffs, which made them feel a bit better.

Even though some of them didn't witness the Nomu, it still left them with unease seeing the creature in front of them.

Bakugo was surprisingly more quiet than usual, his crimson eyes darting around, a barely perceptible tremor shaking his hands.

Witnessing that person in action shook him. What Deku had said about that person being the same age might be true.

The skills and power he displayed was far beyond his own, and it frustrated him deeply.

As he looked at the beast being hauld off into an armored vehicle, he remembered the fear from before.

It was way too fast, and if it wasn't for All Might saving him, he would've been dead.

And that mysterious showoff, he showed up and kept up, and even managed to defeat it!

He angrily clenched his fist. Watching that person and All Might in action gave him a new reality check. He needed to get stronger! Much stronger!

"Lets have you students return to your classrooms for now. We won't be questioning you at the moment, so we'll have to take your statements a bit later." Tsukauchi returned and informed the class.

"Detective, what about Mr. Aizawa?" Tsuyu asked worriedly.

He had no reason to keep the truth from them about their homeroom teacher, "Comminuted fractures in both arms and a facial fracture. Fortunately, there does not seem to be any serious brain damage. However, his orbital floor has broken into small pieces, and his eyes may suffer from its aftereffects... Thats what the doctor said." He finished with a frown.

They were even more worried now, though not many of them showed it.

"What about Thirteen?" Mina asked.

"Thirteen has been treated. The laceration from the back to upper arm was bad, but Thirteen will survive." Tsukauchi informed them, making some of them let out sighs of relief's.

"All Might will also survive. Recovery girls healing is enough to treat him, so has been transported to UA's nurse office, along with other two." He added.

Despite all the destruction and chaos, there were no lives lost today. That was the thing that truly mattered.

Just then, the final group of the captured villains were led out of the USJ.

One person caught their eye. A young man, probably not much older than them, and unconscious and being carried on a stretcher.

It was the same one that fought the Nomu. They stood there for a moment as the the two paramedics carrying him passed the students.

And as they did, confusion spread arounf them as they saw the glint of cold metal binding his wrists. Quirk supressing hancuffs.

Why? Why was he being treated like a criminal?

The confusion was palpable. He had fought alongside them, risked his life to protect them. He had seemed like a hero. So why… why was he being arrested?

Even though they were instructed to head back to the bus, they wanted to ask but couldn't do it, as they were quickly escorted to the bus.

~*~*~*

"—An incident occurred in the afternoon at the UA rescue training facility, where hero couse students were attacked by villains." A voice echoed from the small tv through the dingy little bar, "As of now, the only information we have is that these criminals are calling themselves 'The League of Villains', but thats not all..."

Tomura glared at the tv on the wall, still not having gotten over what happened back there... it’s been a few hours since their failed attempt.

The USJ attack, his carefully orchestrated masterpiece of chaos (thats what he believed), had crumbled before his very eyes.

"During this invasion, it seems a new vigilante was also involved, but has been apprehended. Details are still unknown about his intentions or why he was there, but stay tuned for a follow up story for the rest. In another city—" Shigaraki impatiently turns the tv off, not bothering to hear about any other story.

As Kurogiri continued cleaning the same glass over and over, he carefully watched Shigaraki.

He sat at the bar, bandages on one of his arm and leg from bullet wounds, and one on his sides from the vigilante. It still hurted

"That infuriating secret boss!" He banged the bar table with his uninjured hand, his fist hitting the wood.

He bit his lips and clenched his fist angry, drawing some blood, and then the screen at the end of the bar turned on, showing 'Sound Only'.

“Something bothers you, Tomura?" A new voice

"Sensei!" He turned to the screen, "If it wasn't for that guy, we would've won! The symbol of piece would've been goners!"

"This new vigilante, huh?" The sinister voice mused, "It's quite unexpected, that your grand plan ended up like this. With the intel you gave us, he displayed more than one quirk?"

"Yeah..." He ended off with clicking his tongue.

Its not like All for one planned the USJ attack, although he did give the Nomu to Tomura as a sign of trust and faith.

Everything was calculated, designed to expose All Might's weakness. There was a low chance of them losing, and from the report, it did seem like they would have ended up ending All Mights life.

If not for this strange individual, now a vigilante, that had interfered and disrupted their whole plan.

He was a variable he hadn't accounted for... no, he couldn't account for him at all.

An anomoly.

A vigilante. He didn't despise them, their actions inadvertently helped him in some ways, but this was different.

This was more than just a troublesome vigilante. This was a potential threat, but also… a prize.

A young man, with multiple quirks, was powerful enough to defeat his strongest Nomu.

His grip tightened, his ancient body humming with anticipation. Someone that wasn’t All Might had taken down his strongest creature, and had multiple quirks.

A dangerous smile spread across All For One's face.

His quirks didn't sound like anything extraordinary or amazing, but it intrigued him how strong and versatile it was. And not to mention the red crystal.

Kurogiri and Shigaraki told him about. Once it had glowed and sparked, the Nomu was completely overwhelmed!

Whether it was just another one of his quirks, or some kind of new quirk amplifying tool, he was going to have it!

Maybe he would like to join him, but if refuses... then lets just say All For One has a particular interest in acquiring abilities, especially strong ones.

Such a rare gem shouldn’t be overlooked. To have such incredible and unknown powers….

The man behind the screen grinned from ear to ear. Now he only had to acquire this gem before the heroes snatched it out of his grasp.

This vigilante, whoever they were, had just become a target of the most dangerous man in Japan. And All For One never failed to get what he wanted.

Chapter Text

Cramped, stale, and uncomfortable.

That would be the description of the cold interrogation room he found himself in when he woke up.

Disorientation clung to him like a shroud. His eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the lights, finding himself in a room of gray walls. Blinking tiredly a few times, he tried to piece together how he ended up here.

... Right... he blacked out after the fight...

He had ignited the thorn for the second time... he knew it was a careless decision, especially since as far as he knew, he had ignited the thorn the first time just moments prior before he found himself there at that place.

He knew it wasn't a good idea to ignite it a second time almost immediately after the first time. It was a necessary risk, but he had to if he wanted to defeat the bird monster.

However, the consequences had been far more severe than he anticipated. The first ignition had left him tired and sluggish, but this time... it was worse.

Now this was the state he was left in. He was worn out, disoriented, and his manipulation and control of shinsu were dramatically weakened. He only had a feeling that it would be worse when he would used the thorn a second time, and he was right.

He could still draw upon it and manipulate it, he knew and sensed it, but he could only do so with a tiny portion at this state.

It would take several days to recover, but he doesn't think he could just sit around during that time. He guesses it was sort of a lucky break that this didn't happen the first time around.

Bur it doesn't seem like it mattered, though.

And now he was somewhere else. And he had to ask himself, how long was he unconscious for?

He didn't know how long he was passed out for, but he was still feeling the after effects from igniting the thorn.

He breathed out a soft sigh and looked up at the ceiling. Still, he doesn't regret what he did.

But now he was somewhere else. He didn't know who had taken him, or why, but the atmosphere here felt stifling.

The hard chair dug into his back and the cuffs locked around his wrists were bound to the table, a few experimental tugs did nothing to soothe his sore wrists.

He was still wearing his black robe, and the thorn was still hovering beside him.

The cuffs were quite bulky, and a little heavy as well, covering his whole hand. It definitely wasn't any normal kind of cuffs, thats for sure. He looked around this enclosed environment he was in.

He was in a gray room, a camera on the top right corner of the room, and one large window to his left, but he couldn't see anything behind it.

It was quiet for a while, shuffling his hands and feet for a bit. A few later, the door swung open as someone stepped inside. It was a plain-looking man in a brown trench coat.

He took the seat down on the opposite side of the table. A thin folder was set on the table and the man dug a small notebook and pen from his coat pocket. He looked exhausted, but there was a kind smile on his face.

“Good to see you awake. We’ll try to keep this short. My name is Tsukauchi Naomasa, detective of the Mustafa city police force." The man said, “We haven’t been able to find anything about you in our system. So, for starters, why don’t you tell us your name?”

The detective knew they should have a stuffed profile, but it appeared that they didn’t have anything on him.

Yeah, he may not be in the tower at all. That suspicious feeling... that sinking feeling ever since he got here...

How the air felt different around him...

"Where am I? What happened?" Bam didn't mean to be rude and ignored his question, but he had to get some information of his own.

The man still answered despite that, "You're in police custody after there was an incident at the USJ. You were found unconscious at the scene, moments after we arrived. When you were brought in yesterday, you were booked under suspicion of being affiliated with the League of Villains.”

Since he had no apparent injuries (small and insignificant as the cut on his cheek may have been, it had already healed.) and was just knocked out, he was brought inside the Mustafa Police force station and waited for him to wake up.

Viole had no idea what "police" was, maybe something like the Jahads forces?

He exhaled slightly and looked up. Right, that place was called the USJ. He remembered thats what the bird boy had called the place.

So its just been a day, huh? At least he wasn't out for too long.

But now people were mislead into thinking he was affiliated with that villain group?

However, Tsukauchi continued, "... That was your charge until we spoke with several of the students who saw you, as well as All Might. They confirmed you fought against these villains. Thanks to these testimonies, I can assure you, you will not be charged of being a villain... That said, you're not going to be let go. You're now charged with something else..."

Viole riased a brow, waiting for him to finish.

"Vigilantism. You are not a registered hero. You do not possess a hero license. You used your quirk in a way that, while arguably heroic, was also illegal."

He gestured around the room. "The laws regarding quirk usage are in place for a reason. They're meant to protect people. You acted outside of those laws, regardless of your intentions."

Viole, however, remains calm and collected after hearing this and nodded, much to Tsukauchi's surprise.

Usually, when someones caught for committing vigilantism, especially as young as him, they would have an outburst or a more negative reaction.

He guesses this young man was just understanding of his actions, which was relief.

The truth is, Viole doesn't really care about the charges against him in this world. He was from another world, and his main concern is finding information about this new place and how to return home.

He knew nothing about these people, their rules, their motivations. And they certainly knew nothing about him... He had to be cautious.

"So... your name?" The detective waited for him.

He snapped back to reality. He guesses he was a bit lost in thought there.

He paused, a few seconds passed before he answered him, "Jue Viole Grace."

Even if it was an alias given to him by FUG, its been his identity for 6 years now.

The detective tilted his head slightly with a slight surprised expression, and wrote something down in his noteboo k.

"What an odd name. You're not Japanese, are you? Where are you from?" He asked him, and added a comment, "You're very fluent in Japanese."

Japanese must be the language of this world. And coincidentally, since they seem to understand each other, it was likely the same one that the inhabitants of the tower uses as well.

Viole grew quiet again, his mind racing for bit.

Now, what should he say?

He was likely lost in a different world, with no familiar faces by his sides. He was completely alone...

Should he give them the truth about his situation? No... it might not be believable anyway...

And he still didn't trust this person yet, so he should just keep this information to himself for now.

Who knows what they might do to him if they find out. For now, he needed to get information before he decided to do anything.

Or escape when he has a chance. Despite his situation, he felt he could break out of these cuffs with shinsu. But he’ll wait for a little while longer before deciding…

"Somewhere far away." He replied.

Detective looked at him for a second, before nodding and writing it down on his notebook, "We've heard speculations from two of the students that you had no idea why you were even at the USJ? Is that true?"

"Yeah. I’ve never heard of the League of Villains, or of the USJ, or even this U.A. school before today. All I know is that one moment I’m with my friends, and then a portal opened up beneath and pulled me in. Then I woke up at the USJ place."

The asnwer was still vague, but it was the truth. Tsukauchi’s face softened, and he looked down to write in his little notebook, "So you were brought to the USJ against your will?

Viole srugged, "I guess so."

In Tsukauchi's mind, his mind went back to two certain students that he got statements from. The ones that first encountered the vigilante.

They brought up their speculation that he was might've just been in the wrong place, wrong time type of situation when the villains were gathered.

"Thank you for sharing this. While we still can't remove your charges, I concede that you could be just as much a victim as the students who were at the USJ." The detective, before asking in a more kinder tone, "So, do you mind if I continue with the questions?"

And Viole shook his head, urging him to get it over with.

"Your age and date of birth?"

"I don't know."

The detective raised a brow at that.

It was the truth. Viole had no memories when he was born or keep track of his age. How could he? He was stuck in that cave for who knows how long...

“Okay," Tsukauchi said, unfazed. He scribbled something in his notebook. "And what about… that?" He gestured with his pen towards the Thorn. "That red crystal hovering beside you. What is it? A support item?"

Viole took a glance at it, not really understanding the term he used, but didn't really question it as replied, "I don't really know much about it. It just... resonated with me, I guess."

Although he was vaguely knowledgeable about the thorn fragment and that FUG was planning on melting him along with it, he doesn't know why he was able to house the thorn.

Maybe if Hwaryun was here, she would have been able to provide an answer for him...

Tsukauchi was a little stunned hearing this as he wrote something down on his notebook.

"What is your quirk? Please explain..."

Viole had no clue what a "quirk" is, but rather than just being confused about the term, and likely garnering suspicion for it, he decided to redirect the question back at him.

"Whats your quirk? information should be a fair trade, detective."

Tsukauchi only took a moment to think to himself before sighing and replying honestly.

“My quirk is pretty simple. It’s called lie detector, so I can always know if you tell the truth or not.”

Some kind of super power thats native to this world? He could only assume so from the way he talked about his quirk.

So he's been using it during all this time, huh? Viole thought to himself.

Lie detector, huh? Maybe he could work with this...

"I see... well as for me, I don't have a quirk." Viole said simply.

He guaged the detectives, watching as he paused his hand movement, his eyes widening in stunned silence, and his mouth hung out.

He was in disbelief. Was it... a mistake?

"... How... its the truth..." He heard him quietly mutter, just audible enough to hear him.

Tsukauchi deadpanned, and shook his head with a sigh. The room was quiet for a few moments, and the detective used it to gather his thoughts.

"Can you elaborate on what you mean?"

The detective's inquiry into Viole's statement was met with an impenetrable wall of silence. Viole's refusal to elaborate on his claim only added to the enigma surrounding him.

It was frustrating, but the detective had to relent on the subject.

The detective stood up from the chair and looked towards Viole with a kind smile.

"That's enough question for the meantime, I might have overwhelmed you with the questions. We'll take a break and give you some time alone, and then resume later if thats okay with you... Excuse me."

He thought he pushed too hard for answers on the kid, but they had something at least, even if they were vague and confusing.

The detective left, intending on looking up his name in the database to get more information, and hopefully put this mystery a rest already.

But Viole knew it didn't matter. He didn't belong here. No one knew who he was. He was just a fish out of water.

As the door clicked shut, Viole's calm demeanor never wavered and he was left alone with his thoughts. This wasn't working. He wasn't going to get any answers here at this rate.

He needed to understand where he was, and he doubted he’d get the information he was looking for from those who held him captive. Not unless he spoke about the truth, which he wasn't planning on to.

~*~*~*

"What do you think of the kid?"

"Hard to say, we still don't have a lot of information on him, not even after I interrogated him."

After leaving the interrogation room, and running off to search the kids name in the database, he came back moments later, rubbing his temples and sat down next to Nezu, as they went over what little they had just learned.

The air in the observation room was thick with unanswered questions and a growing sense of unease.

Nezu set his cup of tea down in the table and leaned forward in his chair, which had been glued to the one way mirror ever since the young man arrived.

His long brown ponytailed hair, and the fact that the robe hid his figure quite well, one could mistaken him for a girl too.

Nezu was personally interested in the manner, as he was told personally by Toshinori what this boy was capable of... driving back the beast that even he struggled against.

He not only saved All Might, but the students there as well when they hadn't arrived yet. To that, he felt thankful, as well as guilty and curious.

Tsukauchi too, as they not only had him in cuffs, but was kept in the interrogation for a whole day as well. Orders from the higher ups.

When the investigation had just started and Tsukauchi had given the first initial report on the young vigilante to the hero public safety commission, they were quick to have him locked here and have him given bulker cuffs.

And they wanted an update on his condition, telling them to inform them immediately when he regains consciousness. The president wishes to speak to him.

It was strange, before, they hadn't reacted this strongly when it came to vigilantes...

They were both thinking the same. The higher ups were interested in this boy's capabilities after hearing only the few bits of information they had on him so far.

It was the fact that he was responsible for the shockwave that destroyed all the glass in the USJ, and that they had no data on him.

To the both of them, they knew it wasn't going to be good. They didn't like it, but they didn't have a choice.

Tsukauchi had already informed the public safety commission of him waking up before he went to interrogate him.

His name was peculiar too. Maybe french?

And the powers and skills that were described, as well as his age. He looked about as young as the first year students of his school, and its hard to believe someone like him would go unnoticed all these years until now.

The most eye catching aspect of him was that crimson shard. How was it hovering over him like that? A support item?

Toshinori did say that the boys power drastically increased because of it. If it really was a support item, then how come no ones heard of it? Something that powerful and dangerous... how did it fall into this young man's hands?

When this young man was still unconscious and had those cuffs placed on him, that crystal still didn't disappear. It really might have been a support item.

But it still hovered over him. It couldn't be his quirk, so was it its own thing?

A few specialist were called to cautiously take a reading on the red crystal. The energy readings were unlike anything we've ever encountered. It was stable, but immensely potent.

There were still some some things that were unknown to them, but depending on who uses this, it could be used for extreme destruction, or potentially incredible feats of heroism.

Just where exactly had this boy acquired this?

They had tried to confiscate and secure it away, but that didn't work. No matter how hard they tried to move it (after realizing it was safe to touch), they couldn't budge it.

It seems... inextricably linked to him... almost like it was a part of him. And when he spoke that it "resonated" with him, it left them a bit unsettled.

Just what did that mean?

They thought he would be able to explain what it was and how it worked, but the truth was that the young man wasn't that knowledgeable about it either.

He sat there quietly, and with his bangs covering his eyes, it really was hard to get a read on the him.

"Look at him," Tsukauchi murmured, gesturing towards Viole. "He's not scared. He’s… waiting. Like he knows something we don't."

"Indeed." Nezu took a sip of his tea, before inquiring about his statements, "And your quirk registered everything he said as the truth?"

"Yeah, well, other than the answer he gave about where he was from was quite vague, still... everything else was the truth... but it doesn't make sense... he obviously has a quirk." He looked at Viole through the one way mirror, furrowing his brow, "... Multiple students and All Might himself described him manipulating water and more..."

Maybe the boy simply didn't think of his power as "quirks", but something else.

Maybe thats why Tsukauchi's quirk registered it as the truth, although he refused to elaborate on it. But if so, what reason would he have to believe the power he has was something else?

Maybe he was part of a cult? They had seen a strange symbol underneath his cloak as they searched him for any hidden weapons earlier.

Could that cult have brainwashed this boy into whatever ridiculous fantasies they preached or something? Quite possibly.

And if it was a cult, they had to wonder, just like with the boy, how have not heard of them yet?

Whatever it was, they couldn't do anything prominent. They were still severely lacking details.

Nezu placed a finger on his chin, equally as puzzled as he was, and curiously asked, "Did you get any information when you searched up his name?"

Tsukauchi shook his head, "No. I ran his name through the database, but there wasn't any information. I even called up some authorities from different countries and have them run the name, but it still came up blank. Its like... this kid doesn't even exist... its like he's... an anomaly..."

The records showed nothing. No family, no school, no trace of him existed in any database. Even more perplexing, when questioned about his age, he admitted he didn't know. Tsukauchi's Quirk confirmed the truth of this odd confession.

He appears to be roughly the same age as the first year students, but they could only speculate at this point.

A long silence enveloped them as Tsukauchi finished the sentence. The weight of the unknown settled heavily in the room as they stared at Viole.

And in Nezu's mind, his sharp mind was buzzing with multiple different theories that could make sense of this. But they were just theories for now.

"Extraordinary," Nezu chirped, breaking the silence. "The detective confirms complete honesty, yet the information is… nonexistent."

"... I'm going to need some coffee after this..." Tsukauchi muttered, earning a chuckle from the intelligent creature.

"Youve been working tirelessly, haven't you? Maybe you should take a break?" Nezu suggested.

Tsukauchi shook his head, a smile present, "As much as I'd like that, you know I can't. We need to learn as much information on not just this young man, but also the villain group that attacked the USJ."

A day has passed since the USJ, and they were barely getting anything on the villain group, and now that they have just finished interviewing the kid for the time being, they just couldn't abandon his case.

They've got vague responses from him that didn't spill anything about his past. And the info that they did managed to obtain had only left them more confused.

They talked a bit more before the sound if the door opeing behind them.

They turned to find a middle aged woman with turquoise eyes and ash blonde hair that was slicked back, and wore a stoical and steely expression.

She wore a black suit jacket and dress, along with a purple shirt and a necklace. This was the Madam President of the Hero Public Safety Commission, flanked by two imposing figures in crisp, professional attire.

Her presence alone spoke volumes.

"Anything new?" she asked, her voice smooth and authoritative.

Tsukauchi handed over his notes. The Madam President read them over, to his foreigner-like name, his brief story on where he was before the USJ, and more.

Her expression slowly changing from professional calm to a flicker of bewilderment. The lack of a quirk was the most perplexing detail, a subtle furrow appearing on her brow. She looked up at Tsukauchi, her voice laced with incredulity.

"His answers…are truthful?" she finally asked, her gaze flicking toward the mirror.

Tsukauchi nodded grimly. "My Quirk is conclusive. Unfortunately, I couldn't get him to explain what he meant."

Silence hung heavy in the air. They had a suspect, a potential threat, with no clear motive, no discernible powers, and no way to accurately determine his capabilities.

She handed the notes back and thought to herself. The idea of him being quirkless was bullshit.

Whatever this boy had said or tricked the detectives quirk into believing what he said, she didn't believe it. It defied logic and everything they knew.

There was no way this brat didn't have a quirk, so he must've just just tricked the detectives quirk somehow. She didn't have a full report at thid point, but she knew the important information.

He had a powerful water quirk and a support item that made him either a potential threat, or a useful asset.

He was detained now, but he'll crack very soon, she was sure. This vigilante had potential, raw and untamed. Potential that could be molded, directed, and used for the Commission’s benefit.

Tsukauchi remained silent, acknowledging the impossibility of the situation.

The Madam President’s expression remained impassive. She gestured, and with a silent nod from Nezu, the three figures entered the interrogation room.

The door slammed shut behind them, leaving Nezu and Tsukauchi to view them from the window.

They likely knew what the president was going to say, but that didn't ease them. For some reason, they felt that they shouldn't antagonize this boy.

But alas, all they could for now was watch the scene play out in front of them for now.

The president walked in, followed by her guards as Viole looked up to see her.

Viole remained impassive as the door closed, his face betraying no hint of emotion.

The Madam President stood before him, not choosing to sit down, her gaze intense, as a stoic look was plastered to her face.

"Mr. Jue, was it?" She began she began, her voice laced with a subtle threat. "We appreciate your… cooperation, or lack thereof, thus far."

She paused, letting the silence hang in the air. She wasn't going to be discreet and planned on laying out her intentions clearly to him.

"I am offering you two choices," the President continued, her voice laced with a veiled threat. "You can choose to work under the direct supervision of the Commission, utilizing your… abilities, for the betterment of society. Or, you can choose to face the consequences for your actions, which include being transferred to Tartarus for convicted villains, where your lack of cooperation will be... addressed."

He said nothing. He offered no argument, no denial, no acceptance. He simply stared back, his silence an act of defiance.

"Hmm, you're a lot more quiet than I thought you'd be, boy. Is that because you can no longer use your quirk?"

She smirked when she saw him looking down at the cuffs, most likely in distress, but she failed to realize what was going in his head at that moment.

"And don't even think of escaping before then. Although this isn't a high security prison, there are still several armed personnel here that'll detain you. We're on the fourth floor, cameras watching you, and you can't even use your quirk." She was overconfident, believing that even if, that somehow he managed to escape the room, there were guards on every floor that could easily detain him once again.

"All aspect of your life is for us to control. Right now, you are nothing but a rapid dog that will be put on a leash."

Even after all of that, he didn't react. Despite trying not to show it on her face, the Madam President's frustration grew, fueled by Viole's infuriating lack of response.

She turns, walking to the door. She stopped when she was almost out of the door, and turned her head to look at him.

"You have tomorrow to start talking and give us an answer, but i think we both know you don't really have a choice here. I want a detailed description of your quirk and any other skills you possess."

She had expected resistance, but not this unnerving silence. Well, it didn't matter in the end.

The boy wasn't going to have much a choice. She was fully confident he was going to turn sooner or later. One choice was better than the other, in her opinion.

With a final, disdainful glance, and without another word, she turned and exited the room, her two guards closing the door behind her with a resounding click.

When she arrived back at the observation room, Nezu spoke up after sipping his tea, "Was that really necessary?"

Back in the observation room, Nezu, who had remained silent throughout the exchange, finally spoke. His voice, surprisingly soft, held a hint of concern.

“Do you think that was necessary, President?” he asked, his cup of tea to the side.

The President answered calmly, "Of course it was. You know how necessary it is to punish rule breakers, but in this case, im offering him a chance to make use of his life better. Sometimes, Principal Nezu, the ends justify the means.”

They couldn't do anything about it. It just left them to grapple with the implications of her decisions.

Nezu looked down for a moment before focusing his attention back to the one way mirror as then the president addressed Tsukauchi.

"I expect to have your full investigation report on the whole matter by the end of the day. Focus your resources."

Tsukauchi nodded. "Understood, Madam President. I'll prioritize it immediately." He hesitated, then added, "But I must warn you, our information on both the vigilante and the League of Villains is…sparse. We're essentially working with crumbs."

They were ready to conclude this investigation after almost 2 days. It was a good thing that it wasn't longer than that, but without more information, they had no reason to

She stood there with the same stoic look, but a hint of understanding and satisfaction croosed her face, and she nodded, "Anything is better than nothing, detective."

They talked for a few more seconds, and as they did so, Nezu suddenly butted in, interrupting their discussion.

"We may have a problem." Everyone else in the room were confused, gesturing for him to elaborate.

"Look." Nezu stood up with a gobsmacked expression, his fur standing up as he pointed a paw at the one way mirror.

The others in the room did so, their eyes widening as they saw Viole, now standing, as now water coated the whole cuffs around the his hands.

"What the?!"

"How's he using his quirk, are the cuffs not working?!"

Before anyone could react any futher, a sharp snap exhoed in the interrogation room, the sound reaching them.

The restraints lay in shattered pieces on the table as faint, almost imperceptible blue energy flickered around the room.

~*~*~*

The moment the lady and her men turned their backs on him and left, they didn't know he had already made a decision. Viole finally allowed a flicker of emotion to cross his face – a spark of resolve.

He had heard enough. He wasn't going to prison. And he was done with being used, with being controlled.

He knew why she had that look on her face, as if she was in control. He chose to not say anything when she was rambling on in quite a confident tone.

They didn't need to know that these cuffs weren't affecting him at all. He was going to use that to his advantage.

He took a deep breath. He had to get out. This world might have a library or sorts, a place of all the worlds knowledge, and maybe a way back to the tower...

That last part may be a bit hopeful, as the people here seemed to ignorant about the tower...

The cuffs had no effect on him, it couldn't impede or disrupt his control of shinsu, which was a relief.

That said, he couldn't use a great amount of shinsu at the moment, but he had enough to escape.

He stood up, the chains making a slight rattling noise, as he thought to himself. This was the first time he's felt shinsu depletion this greatly.

His control over shinsu have never felt this weak before, but he had no time to complain. He would have to make due with this.

And he knows it probably wasn't a good to do this after having just ignited the thorn yesterday (again), but he thinks he'll be alright.

However, he did make a note to himself to get some rest after this.

He didn't have time to worry about these people possibly sending anyone after him, as he's not sure if hes in the condition to fight right now.

He only focused on escaping this place. And he was sure his captors would realize he was escaping soon.

Anywhere seems better than here right now. He doesn't plan on being used by another organization again! Not when he desperately fought to escape one already!

Looking down at the "quirk" supressing cuffs, it was uncomfortable, but that was it. He doesn't have a quirk, at least by this world's standards.

He didn’t have to worry about it dampening his powers.

The air around his bound hands began to shimmer, as water seemed to appear out of the air. He gathered the shinsu around the cumbersome cuffs. Like water flowing around a rock, it enveloped the metal, growing cooler by the second.

Viole was going to concentrate the shinsu inside the bulky cuffs and planned to explode it from the inside. The shinsu that enveloped the cuffs seemed to seep in...

And then...

With a deafening crack, the cuffs shattered. Accompanied by the illuminating and etheral blue light, pieces of metal, twisted and broken, flew outwards with surprising force.

But Viole remained passive, unmoved by the destruction he had wrought, his hair flowing and fluttering for a moment from the shockwave.

He simply stood there, hands now free, the faint shimmer of Shinsu still clinging to his fingertips.

He took a moment to appreciate the sudden freedom, flexing his fingers that were just encased in that bulky cuff moments ago.

He could hear panic alarms flaring because of his action, and he didn't waste any time.

He was on the fourth floor, and from what he's learned, he felt it would be easier to take his sights towards the sky and escape there instead.

Above him, a shimmering sphere of shinsu began to coalesce. Rather than have multiple small baangs, he felt it would be more effective to make a single large baang.

And at his current strenth, he was able to make it the a little bigger than the size of a beach ball, but that would be enough.

He sent the baang through the ceiling, destroying the light and shattering concrete and steel, leaving a gaping hole in its wake. The interrogation room was filled with dust, faint blue light from the shinsu, and debris, as sunlight passed through.

As the debris fell, heavily armored guards rushed into the interrogation room, weapons drawn. Behind them were detective Tsukuchi and the president of the hero public safety commission, as well as a tiny creature in a suit.

They were wide eyed, unable to comprehend what they had just witnessed.

Viole ignored them, his gaze fixed on the open sky.

Earlier, he wanted to head to a place that would contain the knowledge of this world, but he realizes it wasn't a good idea, especially in his condition, and changed his priority.

He needed to escape, to find a safe place to recover first. Ignoring the throbbing pain in his head and the gnawing weakness in his limbs, he gathered what remained of his Shinsu.

He summoned a disk of solidified blue Shinsu – Blue Oar – beneath his feet, the disk shimmering with ethereal light.

"Wait!" He heard the detective shout out in a pleading tone, but he didn't listen.

And by the time the guards fired non lethal bullets and tranquilizers, he had already propelled himself upwards, leaving the stunned guards and the chaos of the police station behind.

They were utterly speechless and confused at what just had occurred.

"... He can fly..."

Chapter 4: Escape and confrontations

Chapter Text

At approximately 2:30 PM, on a slightly windy day, the Mustafa police station from the inside was hit by a concussive blast that ripped through the roof of its detention wing.

One person managed to unintentionally capture the event on their phone as they did their own thing at the moment.

People on the streets below stopped in their tracks, pointing and shouting as they stared up at the flying figure that had erupted from the building and flew away.

Not too long after, the commision had ordered any nearby heroes to begin persuit of the individual and capture him.

The only available heroes at the moment were Kamui Woods, Mount Lady, Death Arms, and Backdraft.

Though spread out across the city, they were the closest available and had a history of effective teamwork. So when they got a call, they immediately went into action.

Backdraft, a pro hero dressed like a firefighter, wearing a white mask with a single orange bead embedded in the center.

He has taps for hands with circular wrist guards just behind their openings, red valves over the top, a pair of similar kneepads on his legs, and yellow sneakers on his feet.

Backdraft, ever vigilant, was the first to spot the rogue individual. He had just finished clearing a minor building fire prior when a whoosh of displaced air and a flash of blue drew his attention upwards.

A blue blur zipped across up in sky above him, leaving an azure trail, and he acted quickly. He activated the his comms link, which connected to the other three heroes, letting them know which direction he was headed.

"He's heading west!" he shouted into his communicator, and did his best to follow in the direction on foot, and ushered bystanders to get indoors, "Moving at a moderate pace. Looks like he's flying on some kind of kind of disc! I'm giving chase, but he's out of my range."

He wasn't a fighter, and he couldn't keep up with the flying vigilante, but he could at least help out his fellow heroes.

The message reached everyone throughout the comms, and luckily Mount Lady and Death arms were already there. They were in the best position to intercept, and they were both excited about it.

"We copy that, Backdraft," Death Arms responded, his gruff voice cutting through the static. "Mount Lady will immortalize him, and I'll just knock em' if they try anything. We're a few blocks ahead."

Meanwhile, Kamui Woods, known for his agility and speed, was utilizing his Arbor Quirk to rapidly traverse the urban landscape.

He was well respected by heroes and civilians. No matter what kind of crime, he always handles them with a generally serious and focused approach.

He was a hero who consistently thinks before he acts, approaching situations with precise calculations. He was somewhat selfish and egotistical too, much like the other two, but he often hides it.

Nonetheless, he trusted his hero teammates, even if he may not be needed by the time he gets there when it's resolved already.

But if not, then he would just swoop in and bind the vigilante, and that would be it.

"A piece of cake," Death Arms grumbled. He was perched atop a building, scanning for any figure in the sky.

He had years of experience under his belts, and Mount Lady, a rookie hero rising in popularity, she felt herself to be capable of handling this.

The duo believed they could easily handle the situation. This would be a textbook capture and return to custody – a simple matter of enforcing the law.

In their minds, a swift, decisive capture was precisely what the public needed to see after such a blatant flouting of the law.

By handling this "minor inconvenience" with efficiency and power, the civilians would be feel more safe, and their trust and faith in them would grow more.

Mount Lady waited on the ground in the middle between two buildings, waiting for him to give a signal. Since the vigilante was flying above buildings, Death arms wanted a way to immobilize him.

The plan they quickly conjured up was fairly simple. Since the vigilante was coming to their direction, Mount Lady would use her quirk and go gigantic at the right time, it wouldn't work if the vigilante isn't caught off guard by her shift in size and just flies somewhere else.

Soon enough, the Vigilante was in his sight.

Viole bursted free from the building of the roof, rising above the crumbling edges. As he ascended, the wind whipping through his hair and the smoke trailing behind him,

Viole took in the unfamiliar cityscape.

Towering structures of glass and steel, and some people different than others.

It was similar to some of the floors on the tower, and a little different too.

Confused, disoriented, and dangerously low on energy, his only goal was to escape.

How? Especially considering this was highly populated area it seems? Well, he'll just have to figure it out.

He got down on one knee, catching his breath and desperately trying to keep and maintain the shinsu disc from dissipating, as well as traversing with it.

He had to concentrate on keeping himself afloat. This was the only technique in his arsenal that allowed him to take to the sky, move around and escape.

Since his shinsu was almost depleted and his control was weakened, he wasn't going as fast as he liked or hoped, but knew he couldn't do much about it.

There just had to be a secluded area around here, maybe some kind of forest or something, that no one would look.

He just hoped his escape hadn't drawn too much attention.

But that wasn't going to happen.

As he traversed the air, he spotted a figure on a rooftop shouting something unintelligible. Before he could decipher the words, a colossal presence loomed dangerously close.

His eyes widened, a gargantuan hand reached for him, and he was ensnared.

"Got him!" The giant woman declared triumphantly, her voice booming. "That was easier than I thought! Good work, everyone!"

Viole, trapped within her massive palm, knew he was in a dire situation. His shinsu reserves were dangerously low, and a prolonged battle was out of the question. He couldn't afford to be captured. He had to act fast.

With a calculated move, he dispelled the Shinsu disc beneath him, letting the platform dissipate into shimmering motes of blue light.

He knew at the state he was in, he couldn't focus on escaping and protect himself at the same time, so he had to get rid of blue oar for now.

Focusing and feeling the surrounding shinsu and gathering as much as he could, Viole summoned a baang, a concentrated sphere of Shinsu.

It was just like what he used in the interrogation room, and it would be enough.

With a silent command, he launched the baang towards Mount Lady's head. The sphere hurtled through the air, impacting the hero's forehead with a resounding thud and a wet splash of shinsu.

"Gaah!!" A pained cry erupted from Mount Lady's throat as she instinctively released her grip on Viole with a bit of motion. The force of the impact threw her off balance, sending her staggering backwards.

She narrowly avoided collapsing onto the crowd below, her giant hands scrambling for purchase on a nearby building roof.

Viole, momentarily free, plummeted towards a nearby roof that the man from earlier was on. The wind clawing at his face, his clothes and hair fluttering wildly.

He tumbled and spun in the air, before landing on his feet. But even as he fell from high up, his legs weren't broken. Luckily he had reinforced it just in time before his legs made contact with the concrete roof.

His legs would be shattered otherwise… that was not a fun thought to think about.

With his legs reinforced with shinsu, it eased and arrested his fall with a gentle jolt. He exhaled a sigh of relief and tiredness.

But he wasn't given much time to do more than that, as soon as he let out a sigh, a new sound cut through the city's hum.

A rhythmic whop-whop-whop grew rapidly louder. Viole's head snapped up, his gaze locking onto a gleaming contraption that ascended from behind a nearby skyscraper.

It was some kind of ariel vehicle with spinning blades at the top.

Inside it were three people, as 1 controlled it, one pointed a camera at him, and the third one talked into her mic.

Oh, great, just what he needed. More attention, Viole sarcastically remarked to himself.

School was closed temporarily because of the USJ incident, but it was hard for the students of UA to take it easy, especially for the first year hero course— Class 1-A.

They were at the center of that event, and its only been a day since it happened.

In a room full of All might posters, figurines, and other hero merchandises neatly displayed, Midoriya Izuku sat at his desk.

His mom was in the living room, while he was in his and sat on his chair, rewatching a video on his computer. His left hand wrapped in bandage.

It was a video of All Might from years ago, saving a bunch of people in less than 10 minutes and lifting all of them in his arms.

He proclaimed that it was fine now and that he was here! He's watched it a bunch of times already, and he doesn't think he'll ever get tired from rewatching it.

"What i aspire to be seem so out of reach..." Midoriya thought somberly to himself, "During the USJ attack, the villains just toyed with us with their malice and strength. We just slowed down Mr. Aizawa and Thirteen..."

His eyes glanced down to the object on the floor, before pausing the video, lifting the dumbbell and started curling as he continued his thoughts.

His mind went to the moment All Might went all out against the Nomu, "In order to oppose that evil, I must make this power that I inherited from All Might, One For All, more and more my own."

His grip tightened as he recalled the fatal injury of All Might and his time limit, "... Because time is of the essence... Because I'm the one who inherited it..."

He was mid-way through his usual dumbbell curls, the rhythmic motion a small anchor in the chaos of his thoughts, when a particular memory would snag his attention almost every minute.

It wasn't the villains, his classmates' panicked looks , or even All Might's struggle against the Nomu. It was him.

He didn't know it at the time, but when the news came up yesterday, he learned that he was a vigilante.

The image of the long haired person in a black robe came to his mind. He stopped curling and set the dumbbell down, before pulling out a new notebook and setting it on his desk.

Usually he doesn't have an analysis notebook that's dedicated to someone other than heroes or his classmates quirk, but this person was someone his mind just kept drifting through.

He wasn't that interested in vigilantes, but he just had to make a profile on the mysterious person, and tried to recall every detail, every fleeting action.

He snatched a pencil from the overflowing cup and began to sketch, his brow furrowed in concentration.

He did his best drawing. Long brown colored hair styled in a high ponytail, a black robe, and the mesmerizing crystal he had on him.

He carefully outlined the floating red crystal, hovering just above the figure's right shoulder. What was its purpose?

He could only assume that he was around or the same as him based on his height and his build through his robe. Those two were the only thing he could judge it off of.

He had bangs that obscured his eyes, giving them an unsettlingly hidden look, and he hadn't heard his voice even once when he appeared.

For now, his age was unknown, but he likely had to be a teenager. And all of his classmates thought the same, probably.

He didn't know why he was escorted off in handcuffs along with the villains that day. He was being treated like a criminal depsite saving All Might and them from the Nomu and the leader.

They wouldn't tell him or their classmates about anything yet, but he would later learn hours later from a news report that he was a vigilante.

On the next page, he wrote down his quirk and what he could do.

He had water quirk, he remembered with a growing sense of awe and unease. His control was simple, but it was unlike anything he'd ever witnessed.

The way he coated his fist in them and seemed to strengthened his power, which didn't make sense.

With his fists enveloped in water, which he's never seen a pro hero with a similar quirk do, he thought it was a bad idea.

He expected increased resistance, reduced force transmission, and slower force acceleration, all from the water. But he was wrong. Logic didn't seem to matter there.

His punches had left dents in the Nomus black hardened skin, which he couldn't do even with 100% of his quirk.

His way of using it showed much more versatility than others. Not only could he coat his fist and legs to increase their strength, but he could also manifest and control multiple swirling orbs of water.

He counted five of them, which was enough to incapacitate the minions and leave the leader on the floor, and there were more when he used that red crystal.

But that wasn't all. It seemed he had other quirks and fighting skills that were leagues beyond anything he, or anyone in his class, could hope to achieve.

It was as if he possessed a level of tactical awareness and control far beyond their years.

He remembered looking over to All Might, where some sort of barrier existed between him and the Nomus fist. It was connected to three blue cubes, projecting a shield.

And there was another instance where he noticed the Nomu was closing in on the stranger, before he completely stopped his momentum somehow.

How did these align with his hydrokinetic quirk? Was it... Did he have more than one quirk? It was rare to have more than one quirk, such cases like his classmate Todoroki, but to have three? It was simply unheard of...

After he made a detailed sketch of just the red crystal this time on another page, he chewed on the end of his pencil, eyes narrowed in thought.

The crystal... was it a support item? Some kind of amplifier? Whatever it was, it was like the nomu no longer stood a chance against it once it was used.

A chilling thought, audacious and unwelcome, wormed its way into Izuku's mind. Would he be able to... defeat All Might?

He mentally recoiled from the idea, shaking his head. No, it was absurd. But deep down, a cold knot of truth tightened in his stomach.

All Might was already weakened from a villain that gave him a serious injury, and then passing One For All to him, a secret that gnawed at him constantly.

He was pushing himself past his limits, his time limit, just to maintain his Muscular Form, desperate to shield the world from his true, frail state.

He remembered now, with stark clarity, how All Might had unleashed everything he had, his reserves dwindling with every strained breath.

He knew that All Might was overcoming and pushing the nomu back. Yet, the nomu had still pushed back, and All Might hadn't managed to drive it back with enough force to truly neutralize it.

He believed that All Might would've still been able to win if it wasn't for his time limit. And if not for that mysterious person's intervention, that timely rescue from the Nomu's devastating attack, Izuku shuddered to think what might have happened.

He was undeniably grateful for the stranger's actions.

He was in police custody now, and he had to wonder why he would choose to be a vigilante? He's likely young, has powerful quirks and skills, he could totally become a pro hero someday!

"So why not go to a hero school? Or is there something else to this..." He muttered, lost in his own labyrinth of thought and deduction.

The gentle hum of his computer was the only sound in his small room. Suddenly, a sharp, insistent ding cut through the quiet atmosphere. A notification blinked on his screen, something was trending.

He perked up, feeling a bit curious, and he might as well check it out if it was anything amazing.

He navigated to the feed and clicked, his fingers flying across the keyboard.

The screen flickered to life, showing a video where someone was filming their friend petting a dog with the police station in the background, when suddenly a loud explosion erupted from the roof of the police station

Depris and dust flew out before a figure rised up from there and flew away. Panic screams and alarm erupted, and the camera shifted and followed a person's movement for a moment before the video ended.

This was happening here, in Mustafa. He rewinded the video, pausing at the moment the figure flew away from the scene and zooming in, and Izuku's breath hitched.

It was just the same person he's been thinking about, and he was apparently... flying in the sky on some kind of disc...

Another quirk? That was four now...

The video was posted just 2 minutes ago, but its view was rising faster and gaining traction.

And just then, another ding went off on his computer, this time for a live broadcast from a news channel. He had a feeling it had to do with this, so he clicked on it.

The screen showed a young news anchor woman inside a helicopter, speaking into her mic before the camera shifted over.

"Viewers, we are live above the city Mustafa," She began, her voice clear and steady, "Just moments ago, an explosion occurred inside the police stations roof where the vigilante that was brought in yesterday has escaped. He has just escaped the clutches of pro hero Mount Lady, and is now engaging against Death Arms."

The camera panned over to Mount Lady in her giant form as she rubbed her head in pain and struggled to stay standing.

Midoriya's eyes widened as the two figures stood on the roof, the pro hero death arms and the vigilante.

"Its that shitty DLC character!" Shigaraki frustratedly threw an empty glass at the tv, but Kurogiri managed to teleport it back and catch it.

Shigaraki glared at him for a second before returning his attention back to the screen.

The infuriating secret boss was on the screen. The infuriating, meddling vigilante who had so spectacularly, so humiliatingly, derailed his grand debut at the USJ.

All of it would've gone well if it wasn't for that interfering pest.

He had escaped from the police station and was being surrounded by a few heroes.

And then, a twisted smile began to stretch across his chapped lips. A fight was imminent. Heroes versus the pest who dared defy them both.

He didn't care for any of them, he hated all of them,

He hated them all, the heroes and this society, or so he told himself. But the truth was a little more nuanced, a little more perverse.

He wished absolute torment on the heroes, certainly. But for this vigilante? Shigaraki wanted him to suffer, to truly taste despair, to be broken, more than any hero could ever imagine.

He wasn’t rooting for either side, not truly. But the prospect of them tearing each other apart for his viewing pleasure… that was a spectacle he wouldn't miss for the world.

Shigaraki leaned forward, eyes glued to the screen, a chilling anticipation radiating from him.

And at the same time somewhere else, in a dark secluded room, medical equipment hummed and beeped. The lighting was dim, almost nonexistent, casting long, distorted shadows that danced across the cold, metallic surfaces.

And in the middle, All For One grinned at two of the screens. One news anchor was reporting outside the Mustafa police station.

It was confirmed that the vigilante, whose identity remains undisclosed, had escaped mere minutes before, leaving law enforcement officials scrambling.

The other was also about the vigilante, as the news anchor woman reported from a helicopter in the sky, showing an ariel view of the city, and the current whereabouts of the vigilante.

He was currently standing on some roof of building with another hero on the other side of the roof facing him.

When he'd heard the vigilante was captured, he contemplated hiring someone to break him out and bring him.

But he held off on it for a while, thinking there was nothing to rush here. And there was no need in the end anyway, as the vigilante broke out himself, surprising even him.

There was a video of him escaping the police satuon, and was displaying a new quirk, and it was allowing him to fly and move at an impressive speed with it.

Another quirk, he mused to himself. The question was if he had more quirks?

He couldn't find any information on the vigilante at all. His name, quirk, wheres he from, all of it— there was nothing.

It was like... he didn't exist until yesterday... It was certainly suspicious...

He continued watching as the commentary from the one on the ground continued, "We aren't able to get a proper view, but there should be someone capturing the scene from above. The HPSC President and the police chief have given a quick statement, saying that the vigilante would be dealt with by the heroes, but they are urging citizens to remain indoors and avoid the immediate vicinity," the anchor continued.

And on the screen showing the vigilante, he was surrounded by three others heroes.

Along with Death arms, Kamui Woods and Backdraft (Who had been carried by Kamui woods to here), and Mount Lady, who pushed herself to stand up straightly, sporting a visible wound on her forehead.

She could keep fighting, and was visibly upset and angry, but she was more cautious. Especially after that attack from the vigilante.

All For One supposed now was a good time to lend a helping hand to the vigilante more than ever. Shigaraki wouldn't likely agree with it, but he'll come around eventually.

"Kurogiri." He calmly said, and a moment later Kurogiri appeared beside him, purple mist swirling his body, "Bring him to me. By force, if he won’t cooperate.”

"Yes, master." And with that, Kurogiri after bowing his head, disappeared not long after he had just appeared.

It didn't matter if the vigilante was going to join their cause or not. Considering how he went against them in the USJ, It likely wasn't going to happen even if they would save him from this situation, but oh well...

He was feeling generous, giving the vigilante to come to him willingly.

All For One chuckled darkly. It would be a foolish option to refuse his offer. He wouldn't take no for an answer. That was why he told Kurogiri to use force if necessary.

All For One leaned back in his chair, his smile growing wider. A potential asset, a wild card... the possibilities, he thought, were endless.

The live broadcast appeared across the giant TVs in the city and other electronic devices.

Below one of the building, on the vibrant pedestrian thoroughfares, a fascinatingly diverse set of reactions unfolded.

A small cluster of office workers, their hands still clutching takeaway coffee cups, collectively gasped, a knot of genuine anxiety tightening amongst them.

One young woman clutched her purse tighter, her eyes darting nervously towards the crowd. "Escaped? This isn't good, is it?" she whispered, her voice laced with unease.

Further down the street, amidst the flow of daily commuters, many simply continued their march. They glanced up at the screens with practiced indifference, a fleeting acknowledgment before their attention returned to their phones or conversations.

For them, a vigilante escaping wasn't too interesting. Sure, one hasn't appeared breaking the rules in quite a while, but they knew the outcome would be the same.

Sooner or later, the vigilante would be caught, having accomplished next to nothing.

A delivery driver, expertly navigating his motorized cart through the throng, merely scoffed. "Another one, huh? Just why do they even try..."

Back to the worried young woman, a kind man came up to her, "Ah, don't you worry about that, honey," he reassured her, whose wide eyes were fixed on the news anchor. "It's just a nuisance. Besides," he added with reassuring and confident grin, "the heroes will have him back in custody quickly. They always do."

His words, spoken with such casual certainty, were echoed by others nearby.

A pair of teenagers, scrolling through social media, barely looked up. "Yeah, seriously," one chimed in. "Like, Kamui Woods is already there, and he can take him easily. No biggie."

An elderly woman, leaning on her cane, nodded sagely. "That's right. No need to fret. Our Pro Heroes are the best in the world. A vigilante? This is childs play for them."

The collective sentiment began to spread like a gentle ripple, washing over the initial pockets of worry.

And in another area, one particular person was walking down the streets at this fime, her hood up and hands in her pocket, just passing a building with a giant TV, and a group of people watching it.

Moments ago, it had abruptly changed from an ad commercial to a news broadcast, catching their attention, and she was curious enough to stop and glance at it.

It was about some vigilance that was arrested yesterday that had now escaped, but frankly she didn't think it was anything interesting, but as she saw the camera zoomed in on the figure that was being surrounded, she was able to get a clearer look.

And once she did, she felt her eyes widened a bit. Even as the commentary continued, she didn't care enough to hear it.

Her eyes were focused on the red crystal hovering over his right shoulder... there wasn't a shred of doubt in her mind.

It was Enryu's thorn... so could that person perhaps be...

It had to be! It was him!

Jue Viole Grace. The Slayer Candidate of FUG.

The one she's been wanting to meet. He was in the same place as her, but it doesn't seem like he has a chance to figure out this world yet.

She's already read up on how this world works, and she couldn't let them take him.

This was her chance to not only meet the boy she had heard so much about, but to learn more about him. A selfish and curious side of her.

So with one swift action, she disappeared from there. And to the civilians that were focused on the screen, they suddenly felt a gust of wind behind them.

But when they turned around, nothing was there...

"Stop right there, criminal!" The voice belonged to burly man in front of him, scwoling at him "Breaking out of the police station, causing unnecessary damage, and assaulting a pro hero. Just stop right now so that you won't get yourself any more charges against you. Surrender peacefully, or we'll take you in by force."

Just then, he noticed some new presence and narrowly managed to react and avoid a tree branch aiming to capture him.

He jumped over it and landed at the edge of the roof as the new figures made themselves known, joining besides the burly man.

One of them wore a dark boue bodysuit with a wooden mask. He was probably the one that tried to capture him, and the other one had... faucets for hands...

And then a colossal shadow was casted over him, and he looked back to see the giant woman from before. She was groaning and rubbing her head in pain as she glared daggers at him, but remained more wary of him, "Stop making this difficult, you little shit! Just come quietly!"

"Do you really think a fight with four pro heroes is what you want? You're outnumbered and outmatched. Just surrender peacefully..." The one with the wooden mask spoke, his voice was calm, almost patronizing.

Indeed, the combined might of the four of them seemed like an insurmountable obstacle for any person by themselves... but he's faced much more and at a greater disadvantage...

He may be weakened, but there was no way he was going to surrender. He didn't speak. He simply moved and moved towards the group in front of him.

They reacted, and Backdraft shot out streams of water from his faucet hands. He knew his quirk wasn't strong, but it would at least give his fellow heroes a support.

Viole easily avoided and danced around the two streams of water aimed at him. It didn't come at him strong or fast enough.

He moved around and saw the burly man charging at him with a cocked fist. Death Arms, confident in his brute strength, lunged first, a predictable, heavy punch aimed at Viole's chest.

It was a mistake. Viole was a whisper of motion, vanishing from where he stood, reappearing in the hero's blind spot. Before Death Arms could react, a precise, almost surgical chop landed squarely on the side of his neck.

The hero’s eyes widened in shock before it went white, his mighty form went slack, and he crumpled to the ground with a thud, unconscious before he even hit the pavement.

A collective gasp ripped through the remaining heroes. Their confident smiles vanished, replaced by open-mouthed disbelief.

"Death Arms!" Kamui Woods roared, his wooden tendrils lashing out from his hands in an attempt to capture the vigilante, but he just sidestepped out of the way.

Thats when felt a giant hand coming his way, but this time he wasn't going to repeat the mistake like last time, and jumped just as the giant lady sweeped her hand at him.

He landed on her hand band began running up her arm quickly. Her eyes widened as he drew near and closed her eyes in response... but nothing came...

Viole didn't attack her and had jumped off her shoulder before materializing blue oar once again and flying off behind her.

"He's fleeing!"

With the giant lady's slow response time and her huge body obscuring a path for them to get to him, they wouldn't be able to catch up to him...

Well, assuming if he found a place to hide by then...

But he was wrong, as one of them did react fast enough and chased after him. Only one of them had the range and abilities to follow after him.

The guy with the wooden mask was using his wooden tendrils to swing from building to building and managed to carch him off guard.

Viole glanced back at him to see him closing the gap. The hero was faster than he’d anticipated.

And before he realized it, he felt a wooden tendril—much quicker this time, latched onto his arm with a surprising force and coiling around it.

His eyes widened before he felt his vision shift, turning upside down for a disorienting moment as the city skyline spun beneath him. He saw the world from an inverted perspective, a dizzying panorama of concrete and steel.

The tendril pulling him off his ride and dragging him around, and then he felt tremendous impact

His back was slammed into concrete, sending debris and dust erupting outwards in a violent cloud. A grunt escaped his lips, a sign of physical discomfort. He lay there for a moment, on some kind of road and flashing lights. A street?

Kamui Woods stood over him, one wooden tendril still firmly gripping his arm, before the other started coiling his body.

Viole had to admit, that gutted quite a bit. Not just the physical pain, sharp and immediate, but the unexpected success of his pursuer.

He pushed the pain out of the way for now. He's dealt with much worse before. In his head, he should've knocked this one out instead.

He was surprisingly agile and quick witted. Well, whats done is done, he guess.

Still, he couldn't afford to be captured again. He could still fight back and escape.

Desperate? Probably, but what choice did he have?

"It didn't have to come to this." The hero said with a sigh.

Kamui woods would've used his lacquered chain prison earlier, but the vigilante was moving around too much and avoided his captures.

He had to do this, even if it was extreme, at least the vigilante was captured now.

Or so he thought. He assumed with his wooden tendrils binding him, he wouldn't be able to escape.

A few more heroes areived to their location, and Kamui Woods reassured them that he had this handled. As he waved at the civilians, he felt his hold on the vigilante began to break.

He assumed he was knocked out from that impact, but he was proven wrong when the vigilante had effectively snapped through his tough bindings.

Viole broke through the layers of wood surrounding him, using his shinsu to shatter, getting up and quickly jumping back.

There were more of these people in colorful costume now. 4 of them, including the one with that had crashed him down here, and looking back, there were 3 others.

And around them were likely regular people. Even as some of those guys in colorful costumes ushered them to get to safety, some of them still stayed and pulled out their phones and began filming.

This was bad, Viole thought. His head was still a little bit dizzy, but he still managed to stand up straight.

He let out a few strained coughs just as these guys started closing in, and he got ready for another strenuous confrontation.

As they neared, Viole felt a bit nervous, and he had to wonder to himself if he was going to get out of this mess somehow... or if he was going to be imprisoned again.

The thought of that would never sit well with him.

The heroes themselves could hardly believe it was taking this many of them to deal with one vigilante. It should've been over much sooner...

However, just as the heroes began their approach, an instantaneous, bone-chilling cold permeated the air, sending an involuntary shiver down the spines of everyone present.

Along with that, something moved with blinding speed. A whoosh of displaced air, a resounding crash.

Before anyone could react, a loud crystalline sound could be heard, and colossal wave of ice erupted from the ground with a soundless, terrifying speed.

They surged upwards, outwards, and then inwards until it stopped and had completely encased the vigilante.

The formation was not merely large; it was monolithic, a towering ice wall that encapsulated the entire intersection of the road, effectively severing Viole from his pursuers.

Shards of ice jutted inwards and outwards, creating a fortress of frozen danger.

Onlookers and the Pro Heroes themselves were left stunned, their eyes wide with disbelief.

Even the ones in the sky on the helicopter couldn't see the vigilante now, likely underneath the ice.

Who... Who's quirk was this? It came out of nowhere...

Inside the glacier, where it was completely sealed off, Viole breathed out a sigh, a visible plume of vapor escaping his lips.

And then he looked seriously at the person in front of him, the one that had separated those people from him.

She was quite tall, taller than him, her blue eyes staring into him, and her expression was what he could only tell as amusement and curiosity.

She was wearing a grey jacket with the hood up, a dark blue skirt, black tights, and blue shoes completed her ensemble. It was an unexpected combination, yet somehow perfectly fitting.

She stood there casually, hands in her pocket... He was curious but also cautious, wondering why she would save him.

"Who... are you?" He inquired.

He didn't know who she was, but he had a hunch after one thing. The ice she created, it wasn't like the abilities displayed in this world... he could sense shinsu from it... so was she also from the tower?

She was strong, he could tell. Much stronger than him. A high ranker?

The strange woman didn't answer and walked towards him, until she stood directly in front of him.

"Hmm..." She let out a soft humming sound and drew her face closer.

She suddenly leaned in, and Viole moved his head back a little, confused and caught off guard by her actions, "W-What?"

She slowly raised a hand up, and Viole knew he should be prepared for an attack, but he didn't sense any hostility from her at all.

She held no malice or any intentions to harm him. He knew he should be more careful, but for now he just let her do her thing.

She reached a hand out, showing her purple nail varnish. He stood there as she gently brushed his unkempt bangs aside with a finger to get a better look at his full face.

As her blue eyes met with his golden ones, her expression changed into one of sly, and a catlike smirk graced her lips.

"Y'know, seeing you up close like this, i have to say you're really cute."

"?!"

She moved her hand back, letting his bangs fall back, and she continued, "You're a bit different from what I imagined. Although i figured you wouldn't be as rough looking as Urek..."

That name... so she was from the tower after all.

"Urek? Do you know him?"

She released a sigh, "Well, of course... Although i would rather not know a buffoon like him."

She knows Urek... Who on earth was she? Viole thought to himself.

"Why did you save me?"

"Well, I've been wanting to meet you for quite some time now, you could say." She responded casually as she stretched her arms, and then brought up something else, "But before anything, are you aware of our situation?"

Viole knew what she meant and nodded, "Yeah... we're in another world, aren't we? Though, I haven't been able to learn anything since i got here

She nodded a released a soft chuckle, "Yeah, you were arrested yesterday weren't you? I guess you wouldn't be able have time dig up some info."

"... You know... who i am?"

"Of course. Like i said, I've been wanting to meet you..."

Viole thought calmly in his head. Does she... know something about him?

"But how about we get out of here first? Ill tell you all that I've learned about this world and some others..." She suddenly reached out her hand, offering it for him to grab, "Whether you trust me or not, there's something that I absolutely have to give to you."

He stared at her outstretched hand before slowly raising his. He knew he shouldn't trust someone he's just met, but the way she spoke and the air around her...

He wanted to believe her. And so he did.

A gentle smile graced her lips before air around them changed, as Garam manipulated the shinsu. She was going to teleport themselves away from here.

Certain powerful individuals could teleport on their own, and she was one of them, but only for short distances. It wouldn't be far, but that was good enough.

She was going to teleport her and Viole to where she's been laying low ever since yesterday. It wasn't the best, but no ones bothered her there yet.

She manipulated the shinsu around them, a flicker of distortion, and then they were gone.

With that, the two of them vanished from inside the ice. And by the time the heroes and poilce would have thawed the ice out, they had already disappeared.

And from an alleyway, Kurogiri stood there watching. He had meant to retrieve the vigilante, but just as he was about to, the unexpected interference of this ice quirk left him unable to get to the vigilante.

This had complicated his task. It was disappointing and frustrating.

Purple mist encased everywhere around him, swallowing him up as he retreated. This was a failure...

As for where Viole and the woman went, they suddenly materialized in another setting. The place they were at was in some kind of abandoned building it seems.

"Don't complain. I know it isn't ideal," Garam admitted after letting go of his hand, her voice low. She gestured around the dilapidated space, "But no one's bothered me here yet. I've only been here a day."

This was still a place somewhere in the city, but at least he had eacaped from the people there. No one would come looking for him here.

He thanked her for saving him, but she brushed it off lightly, and walked ahead of him closer to the window.

"I know you must be curious about a lot of things. We're finally alone, so ask me whatever you like."

"Who... are you?" It was the question he had asked her back then, but she hadn't given a response.

She reached for the hood on her jacket and pulled it down, revealing face fully. Silvery, ice-blue hair cascaded down her back, which darkened to blue at the tips, gathered in a high ponytail similar to his own.

She turned to face him with a small smile, "I'm Garam Jahad. Im the princess of Jahad that went missing with two of the 13 months series long ago."

And that’s it for chapter 4! Garam is finally introduced!

I know Garams abilities haven’t been touched or shown much in the manhwa, but I do know she has ice powers in the tower of god mobile games, so I’m just going off of that.

And in the New world game, her special move also showed a bit of lightning so I'll probably showcase that too later on.

And speaking of the games, their new and different outfits design later on will be taken from the game or heavily inspired by it.

And I'm hoping to develop their relationship in some kind of way here.

Next chapter will be a bit of garams pov at the start where finds herself in this world and finds some information, as well as some others.

Thats all! Hoped you enjoyed it
