Chapter 1: Why Us?

Chapter Text

Mephones Perspective:

As the contestants had their last moments on the island I was packing my stuff onto the leaving boat, getting ready to leave the island since the season was over. I had a pretty good break from all the drama from season 2. It was getting pretty bad last time I checked but I wondered how they were doing since I left. But I knew Toilet was probably useless, most likely being a problem like he always was. But other than that I thought it would be good to be back to be there. Hopefully nothing bad happened while I was gone.

Narrator's Perspective

Some of the contestants were grabbing their little belongings and walking over as the boat stopped to the island. Others hadn’t noticed the Boat yet and were still admiring their last moments on the island. The wind blew and the palm trees shook. It seemed to be the evening, the sun was slowly coming down to set meaning it was getting pretty late. “C'mon guys! The boat is all packed up.” Mephone called out to the contestants. Some heard his calls and got onto the boat while others were minding their own business doing their own things or didn’t hear Mephone.

Candle, Silver spoon, Cabby, Goo, Bot, and Yin and Yang were still on the island. It was then as the sun went merely close to setting that Silver spoon realized it was getting just a little too late. He froze for a moment in realization that they were supposed to be on the ship by then. He looked around before running off to catch the ship before it left for good.

Silver Spoons Perspective

Luckily I remembered, or else I would have lost it. The boat was just about to leave as I ran over to it. It seemed not everyone was apparently on it though. I could tell there were absolutely some others missing. But there wasn’t time to stay for the others. I had to get myself on before the boat left on time. The anchors of the boat were starting to rise out of the ocean. How could they even attempt to leave ME behind! I almost made it, I really did but the boat started moving before I ever could get on. I stopped myself as the boat left and got farther from my vision.

That was it. They had really left me behind on this wretched island. I sat down on the sand, in pure fear. How could I ever live here on this island in the middle of nowhere?! There weren’t many things to live off of other than the Nixing table. Of course it had to be me out of all things trapped on this goodness forsaken island. Why out of all things did it have to be me? I turned to look back at the island, the stupidity of being stuck on this island felt awful.

As I looked back Candle was walking over to the dock as I sat there in the sand. I got up and dusted myself off from the sand to go tell Candle about the horrendous news. “Silver spoon, is the boat here yet? It seems to be getting late.” Candle asked in her stupidly calm voice. “The boat… Left us…” I answered, why did it have to be us? Candles normally calm and positivity seemed to have broken just as I said that. Her expression went from happy to scared. “Is this-... I sense this is true…” Candle seemed to be worried but she tried to keep it together I suppose. We were both worried about this it seemed.

Chapter 2: Stranded

Chapter Text

Candles Perspective

Once Silver spoon said that I felt myself lose calmness. For the first time in a while I felt stressed. But I couldn’t let Silver spoon know that. I still had to be as positive as I could be. If we were going to be stuck on an island together, we had to put our differences aside for once and work together to make it home safely. “I sense this is true…” I said, trying to sound calm. I took a deep breath to calm myself down, this was a serious situation and I needed to be able to think of solutions and be positive. I didn’t want to freak out and make anyone uncomfortable.

My main question was if there was anyone else on this island with us. Were there any others left behind with us? I guess we will find out soon. Possibly if there were others stranded here as well, there would be at least some way to contact for help. If there are others stranded here as well, there would most likely be at least one person who had a phone on them to contact Mephone. we would just have to stay here until he picks up and everything would be fine from there on. It would be alright if everything turned out like that.

As me and Silver spoon stood there silently, I decided we should at least look to see who else was here. I could sense more than two presences on the island. “Should we go to see who else is here with us?” I asked with my hand slightly out for him to hold, he sighed, no words but he grabbed my hand and we walked together. It may be weird or romantic to some people but it was a harsh time for us both. We weren’t trying to make it seem like that way.

We walked over to the Picnix table. At the Picnix table it seemed Yin and Yang were there, he seemed a little distracted. They possibly didn’t notice the boat at all so I thought to not tell them about it. he was probably just trying to choose a drink. There are a lot of options after all. I looked back at the Silver spoon hand and let go of it. He seemed stressed after all. Maybe after some time he would calm down from this situation. I walked over to Yin and Yang as I spoke. “Hello there, what are you doing over here?” I asked, “Well I want to pick a new drink before we leave but Yang wants Dr Fizz like always.” Yin replied. “Because it’s the only good drink! I cannot accept trying something new.” Yang crossed his arms. It felt so hard not to tell them about the situation, especially since we would be stranded for a while. “Let’s make a compromise here, why not ask for what you both want?” I explained. “Oo! Yes! Yin, can we drink Dr Fizz first?” Yang asked. “Sure, I guess we could.” Yin said. I smiled slightly as they made their agreement.

After their agreement I walked back to Silver Spoon to go see if anyone else was here. We walked away from the Picnix table, I knew fate would lead us back home but I don’t know if Silver knew himself “…How are you so positive in a situation like this? We could be stranded here for who knows how long and you still have your positivity?” He asked as we walked away. “Well, I believe we will make it out of this, believing that we can do this can help us out.” I explained As the sun finally set.

We stopped walking as we saw the moon rise. It was too late to look for the others but we could still search tomorrow. “Let’s take a break for tonight, we need a good rest for tomorrow.” I explained. “…hmph” Silver grunted while walking a little away and lying down to sleep. I don’t think this was very easy for him to deal with. Especially since we’re trapped on an island. He needs a moment to calm down as well of course. I go to sit and lie down on the grass. “Goodnight…” I heard Silver mumble before I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Chapter 3: Forever

Chapter Text

Narrator's Perspective

The sun began to rise and light up the area a little. Silver spoon woke up first because of the sunlight reflecting in his eyes. He slowly sat up and looked over at Candle, she was still asleep. Silver spoon felt something was off, like he had forgotten something important. Then it suddenly came to him and he remembered what happened the day before. Him and Candle weren’t even supposed to even be on the island anymore. Silver spoon felt tormented by the fact that Candle was always so calm and happy but as he thought about this he didn’t feel ok anymore. He felt he was forever trapped on this island.

Silver Spoons Perspective

This was sickening, why did all the bad things have to happen to me. I was starting to feel tired of all this bad luck. The way Candle could stay so positive about all this was insane. If there was anything for her to be panicking about it would be this yet she stays so calm. How does she do it? You know things aren’t really so fair between us. I don’t think I’ll ever understand her and how she can stay so calm. She taught our team everything and they took advantage of her as well yet she still treated the team with understandment. There’s no way she’s even real at this point. It’s just sickening how she can be happy but I can’t. What sort of logic is this? might I be going insane? Who knows. I just can’t understand any of this anymore. But as I thought to myself these terrible things she was seeming to have finally been waking up.

Candles Perspective

I guess I was asleep for a little bit because once I had woken up I looked over and Silver Spoon already seemed to be awake. There was a strange sense that something was wrong with him though. I sat up and crossed my legs “Are you ok Silver Spoon?” I asked him. Though he replied with “I’m fairly well.” I could tell something was bothering him. remembering we were stuck on the island just probably bothered him. “Is this about the boat?” I asked softly. Silver seemed a little bothered by the question and stayed silent for a little but eventually answered. “…I guess it could be that…” Silver answered. I wanted to comfort him but I didn’t think he was ready for that yet. This was one of the first times I had heard Silver like this. Maybe if I just gave him time to himself he would feel better. I got up as I spoke to him “I will give you some time to recover from this if that’s what you want.” I answered, He nodded slightly. “Ok then.” I replied softly and walked off, hoping he would be ok to be on his own.

As I was walking around the island It felt emptier than usual. I felt like I was used to overhearing people mainly talk about drama or genuinely having fun, laughing and talking to each other. It had never really been this peaceful here. It felt awfully strange. The wind and sounds of nature were calming though. I felt It was calming yet weird. It felt weird knowing that some of the others were gone but hearing the wonderful sounds of nature was chill. As I kept going though I started to hear some chatting coming from somewhere. It was probably the others left behind. I snuck over to where I heard the voices coming from. It sounded like Cabby’s voice, I hid behind a tree to see it was Cabby, Bot and Goo talking about something. I tried to listen to what they were saying before I made an approach.

Cabby’s Perspective

I was trying to come up with a plan with Goo and Bot. We seemed to be the only ones stranded on the island but I could’ve been wrong. Since the boat was supposed to appear yesterday we all might have missed it. “So, do we have any ideas?” I asked. “Oh, uhh… no but I found this little stick lying on the ground!” Goo replied. I mean, that was a little off topic but whatever keeps his spirit going I guess. I looked around for possibly some source we could use to send out help then noticed bot. Well, they are a robot. They could possibly send out a message in some way to Mephone, Test tube or Fan and hopefully turn around the boat to come get us.

“I’ve got something!” I exclaimed. “Bot, do you know if you could send a message over to anyone on the boat?” I asked. Bot seemed to be focused on something but looked over after a few seconds. “Me? Oh! Yeah, I can send one over. To Mephone?” They replied. “Yeah! That would be amazing! Tell him we’re still on the island.” I answered. Bot seemed They were about to do something but seemed to have noticed something from behind me. I turned around but I didn’t see anything other than the trees and Volcano. It seemed a little suspicious that Bot was staring back there though. “Is someone over there?” I called out, I waited for a moment but no answer. It seemed to just be a coincidence but as I was turning back I saw someone’s head peak out. Was that… Candle? She was here too?

Chapter 4: Caution

Chapter Text

Cabby’s perspective

“Candle? What are you doing?” I asked. She seemed a little surprised but that’s pretty expected since she was hiding. “Oh, my apologies! I just wanted to hear what was going on.” She said Calmly. I was a little suspicious about that but Candle’s usually really honest so I was sure she was just curious. But I remembered I had to get back to the plan, so I turned back to Bot and Goo. “Well, Anyways! Bot-“ I suddenly got cut off by them. “Already done!” Bot answered. That was really quick but hopefully Mephone gets the message! “Oh! Well thanks! I guess now we wait.” I replied. Bot turned to look over to Candle. “Is there… anyone else here?” They asked, “Yes, Silver spoon, Yin and Yang are all still here.” Candle replied. Silver spoon Isn’t really the type to really want to help and Yin would probably try to help out but Yang wouldn’t. But who knows, maybe they all would. In this situation we’re in we need all the help we can get.

Goo’s perspective

I wanted to say something but I felt I would just make things a little bit awkward like I always do, maybe it would be good if I stayed out of this conversation and slid off. So I did exactly that. Nobody really seemed to notice that I left. What if I went to the little Volcano and just thought there for a moment, maybe things would get better. I don’t want to get stuck here forever, even if bot had done us a little help, it still felt as if we were stuck like stepping on sticky gum in the middle of a road. I had finally made it up to the Volcano. Was I getting a little too close to the lava? Because it felt a bit warm. I don’t know, maybe this wasn’t a good idea. I would’ve head back but as I turned back I felt a sudden push like I was kicked by someone and now I felt I was falling. Oh no, I was falling into the lava! There was nothing I could really do now. But in my final moments, I saw a shadowy figure. I couldn’t see exactly who it was but it looked familiar. I wasn’t really paying attention to the figure enough to know who it was because I was too panicked to see. I was getting really close to the Lava and then all the sudden everything went black like a dark room.

Narrator's perspective

Goo had died, burnt and melted in the lava. There was barely anything left of him but a small area of blue tint in the lava where he had fallen. Silver spoon was just starting to get back to Candle. It seemed like a little while since Candle had walked off but that wasn’t what he was really focused on that much. Once he was in the area where he could hear the others talking and chattering he had run into Yin and Yang, seeming to be also trying to find the others. Silver spoon wondered what the others were talking about. He walked over to Yin and Yang and went to lead him to the others. “What’s going on over here?” He asked everyone. “Don’t worry Silver spoon, we’ve finally gotten some help.” Candle answered. Cabby was looking and writing in her files until she looked over to see who was there with her. As she was counting everyone in the area she noticed someone was missing. That’s when she realized, where was Goo? She was so busy with the plan that she wasn’t paying attention to Goo. “Uhm… where did Goo go?” Cabby asked in a concerned tone. Everyone looked over at her, also realizing that he wasn’t with them. “Let’s split up and find him.” Candle replied.

Bot’s Perspective

Goo went missing? My best buddy?! There’s no way. Where could he have gone? I must have felt pure anxiety about my friend at that moment because I was really panicked by that. As candle said to split up and find him I ran off to go find him. I didn’t care if I had alarmed the others by running off, He needed me. I called out his name a few times before making it to the Volcano. It was a little weird but I felt called there like he was over there. I ran up there and once I made it up there wasn’t a sign off him. But I felt that was a little suspicious for some reason that he wasn’t up there somewhere. Maybe he wasn’t up. That was when I looked down at the lava to see his melted corpse in the lava. Was Goo… dead? No… there was no way… he couldn’t be dead… there was too much going on in this moment. There were so many things going on already and he was… dead?! I could remember him saying the weirdest stuff but it always made sense somehow. I was really the only one who could sort of understand the meaning of his sentence… but now he is dead... I stood there for a moment in terror before running off to warn the others…

Chapter 5: Mystery

Chapter Text

Bot’s perspective

I ran to the others to warn them about Goo knowing he was gone. The wacky part about this whole thing is that nobody had ever thought Goo would die just like that. I nearly just wanted to forget about all of that but it wouldn’t stop haunting me. Was it an accident? Who knows at this point. all I knew was my friend was gone… My best friend… but as i thought about this I realized I wasn’t paying attention to where i was going. Oh I had gone the wrong way I guess. Wait… where was I even? Being alone here wasn’t what I wanted, especially since I had just lost a friend of mine. Would anyone really want that though? I couldn’t think about that then.

I just wished Goo was there… maybe we could’ve found the others by now if he were here. How long had it even been? It seemed like a few minutes since the others separated but how could I tell. What was I going to do…? I couldn’t just sit here and wait for someone to find me. I had to find them. “I will make it off of this island…” I mumbled and repeated to myself. But feeling the guilt of my friend felt awful, worse than anything I had gone through before. Maybe I shouldn't try to get off the island. No, that’s not right! For me, getting off the Island is probably what Goo would have wanted… I finally tried to find my way back. Though I was still in grief of Goo I couldn’t stay here in the middle of nowhere, I had to get back home. Maybe Goo could be revived by Mephone! Yeah, hopefully!

As I started to head back I heard something behind me. It seemed like someone was watching me. I didn’t like the sound of that. Remember, you can do this… was someone actually watching me though? It could just be the wind blowing against the bushes, But it didn’t seem like there was that much wind. I shouldn’t be here anymore. I have to run. So I ran as fast as I could. I couldn’t look back, there was too much going on for me to see who was even following me. I had to find someone before something happened. It didn’t matter who, as long as I found someone, I would probably be safe! Finally I saw someone from the distance! It was Yin and Yang! I ran to them but the sounds of the grassy footsteps stopped as I headed to them. Phew! I think I was safe. “Yin and Yang! I-... Goo’s dead…” I said. I don’t know how I ran that fast but I’m alive and that's all that matters! But the question still remained. Who was following me? “Wait, really?!” Yin said “Ha! See? I told you we weren’t safe, Yin!” Yang replied. “Oh, Wait. That's not a good thing...” Yang said to himself. I would have suspected Yang but he wasn’t chasing me obviously and he and Yin share the same body so there was no way he was chasing me. But that made me wonder… whoever was chasing me possibly killed Goo as well. If that was true then was I the next target…?

Chapter 6: However Many Ways

Chapter Text

Narrator's perspective

After some time, Candle, Silver spoon, Cabby, Yin Yang, and Bot all met up, Discussing what happened to Goo. “Yin said you know what happened to Goo. is that correct?” Candle asked. “Yeah… He-...” Bot cut themself and took a breath before continuing their sentence. “He’s dead…” Bot said. Everyone gasped, shocked about what had happened in such a short time. Something was definitely wrong about this. “Wait WHAT?? Ehem… uh- how?” Cabby asked in a surprised tone. “It looked like he fell into the lava up at the volcano…” Bot replied, it was hard for them to talk about Goo’s death but they tried to cheer themselves up by thinking that Mephone had probably revived him by now.

Cabby’s perspective

Out of all the contestants to die like that, I never expected Goo to be the first. Well, he was never really the best at the challenges but it still felt a little harsh thinking about it. It was probably worse for Bot though. Didn’t they use to talk to each other a lot? I’m pretty sure they would hang out a lot before Goo got eliminated. Oh yeah… That's right. They might have talked a little on that elimination island. I'm not entirely sure if that's completely true but probably true. Though I still do feel bad for Bot. “I’m so sorry, Bot…” I said, I didn’t know what to say to be comforting. “I-it's fine, not only that happened though.” Bot replied. What do they mean that's not all that happened? There's more? “Oh? What else happened out there?” Candle asked. “Well, I-... nevermind.” Bot said. Something was definitely bothering them but none of us knew exactly what it was. “Are you ok…?” I asked them. “Y-yeah…! I’m fine. It's nothing really…” Bot replied. The way they said that seemed that something did happen. But what could have happened?

Well, back to thinking about Goo’s death. From what we all heard, Goo fell into the Volcano. There's not much information we have about this yet. Did Goo try to attempt possibly? Well it wouldn’t make much sense since they seemed very happy and childlike still. He had an imagination of what seems to be a kid. The way he was seemed perfectly healthy so it couldn’t have possibly been an attempt of Suicide but it’s really from all the information we got. It’s all that would make sense here but I'm not quite sure anymore. I refocused on the conversation. “I have a theory…” I said “with all the information we have on Goo’s death. It might have been an attempt to… you know…” I explained..

Bot’s perspective

A suicide? That couldn’t be true. Goo would’ve never done anything like that! He didn’t seem like it at least. And to top it all off, someone was watching me in the forest earlier. How could it be a suicide? There’s a killer running around this island somewhere and I don't think any of us know who it is but none of them would believe me if I said that. “I don’t think he would…” I replied. I knew him well. He wasn’t Suicidal or showing signs of wanting to commit so it wasn’t possible for him to have done that. “Well, that’s really all we know right now. It’s the most logical explanation” Cabby said. I couldn’t believe that though, I couldn't prove anything but I knew he wasn’t like that. “I-I think I heard something while trying to find you guys. Someone was watching me…” I explained. “Are you implying that he was murdered?” Candle answered “I don’t know right now but… I think we all just have to be more careful from now on.” I replied. I didn’t have as much information as they did but that was the problem. It could have been Cabby’s theory or someone is out there somewhere. Based on what has happened so far, we have to stick together. There's probably a killer here from what I know…

Chapter 7: Easily Blamed

Chapter Text

Narrator’s Perspective

A few days after Goo’s death and yet no sign of someone Unrecognizable or mysterious on the island with them. At first they all assumed there was possibly a killer but since nothing had been happening lately they all just assumed Cabby’s theory was right. Bot didn’t want to accept it however. It just didn’t seem true nor did it seem like something Goo would ever do. They were still grieving the loss of Goo. It wasn't easy for them to accept that Goo was gone but it was harder for them to understand Cabby’s theory. It didn’t make any sense to them so how could it even be true. They swore they heard something odd while trying to find the others but no one else seemed to believe it was true at that point. There was no sign of a killer after all other than the Goo case and it was hard to tell what exactly happened so they just had to assume Cabby’s theory was correct. Bot was sitting near the ocean, still thinking about Goo and the theories on his mysterious case.

Bot’s Perspective

How did anyone believe that Goo would do that? I couldn’t understand how anyone understood that theory but it could never be true. I knew Goo very well and he always seemed to be happy and cheerful so there was no way he out of everyone was to commit something like that. He would’ve never committed suicide! No one understands him like I do. But as i was thinking about this situation and theory Cabby was coming over to me. “Oh! There you are! Thank goodness!” She laughed. Why was she even looking for me in the first place? “Are you ok?” Cabby asked, rolling over to me. I sighed before I spoke. “Well, I don’t mean this in a bad way but I just don’t think Goo would ever commit something like that…” I explained. “I mean, none of us do! But since we haven't found any signs of a killer around, well, we just assume that It could possibly be true.” Cabby explained. How? How could any of that be true? I can’t believe any of it! “I knew him the most though… he would have never done anything like that!” I tried to explain, she probably wouldn’t understand what I mean. “Well, no one is still entirely sure… so maybe you could be right.” Cabby said.

Wait, what? Is she actually serious? She thinks… I'm right? “Really? But didn’t you make the theory?” I asked. “Well I never said you were 100% right, I just said you might be but I do believe it a little.” Cabby replied. Oh, She still partially believes my theory at least. I never knew she would understand what I meant. I smiled slightly, feeling a little proud knowing that someone acknowledged and understood my theory. But if there actually is a killer, would it be someone unknown or one of us? That was the confusing bit of my theory. If it was one of us then who even was it? “I’m gonna go now, but I hope you feel at least a little better now!” Cabby said. I completely forgot she was here for a moment. I was a little too focused on my theory to even remember Cabby was here. I waved a little as she left. “Thanks.” I said. But if it was that there was a killer. It would probably be someone we wouldn’t know, right? I can’t say for sure but it just sounds correct.

Cabby’s Perspective

As I was walking back, I hoped that Bot was ok, they do have to deal with the loss of their friend. I don’t know how to comfort someone over a loss. I know it's kind of hard for Bot, also since not many people believe them and their theory on Goo’s death, but I can kind of understand where they're getting the idea. I see that someone here could be a killer, I sometimes hear weird stuff while walking around on my own too. Though it might just be coincidental or probably just the wind, I don’t think Goo would commit suicide so our closest assumption is that someone is a killer here. Ehh… but who would it be? Yin or yang possibly? Hm… Yin would probably stop Yang from doing that. Silver? No… Silver may be manipulative but I don’t think he would kill anyone without a reason. Actually… We all could be suspects on this island. Sadly enough since we all split up to find Goo, that gives us all suspicion on each other. Someone could have killed him before we knew it. Well, one thing for sure is that I know I’m not the killer if that theory turns out to be true.

Chapter 8: Life of Wires

Chapter Text

Bot’s Perspective

I sat near the ocean for a little longer before deciding to get up and take a walk around the island. As I walked around I was thinking about something. None of us know exactly who the killer was. All we know is that it was either one of us, or someone else… Let's just think about who we can eliminate from the suspects… Well, obviously it wasn’t me. But other than myself, who could it have not been… let me retrace and think about what happened that day. We were making a plan for getting back to Mephone when all of the sudden Goo went missing but nobody noticed him gone then. It wasn’t until Silver, Yin and Yang came over that we all noticed his disappearance. We could probably eliminate everyone else.

As I was thinking about possible suspects and other things I heard the sounds of bushes moving again. Someone was hiding behind them but who was it? Who was watching me? That's strange… is this happening again? I don’t know. But the first thing I thought to myself was to run. I couldn’t stay here and be the next target. I had only a few options, and I chose to run. I ran as fast as I could. Trying to escape the possible killer. I looked behind and saw a glimpse of who it was but it was hard to say which one of us was chasing me. But I couldn't completely focus on that. I had to keep going. But as I turned forward I tripped over a branch and hit a tree falling over. Ouch… my head. It ached badly. I felt weak but I couldn’t die here. No way was I gonna die today! I slowly got up. Putting my hand over my head. I could feel my head being a little cracked but there were some wires sticking out as well. Right as I got up I sensed someone was behind me. I tried to turn around, I could see an axe in the killer's hand.

Right as I turned to see who was behind me the last thing I saw was being hit by the Axe… I was immediately pushed back into the tree. a painful way to go out, I couldn’t move anymore but I was still somewhat alive, just stuck in place. My vision was all glitchy. I couldn't see the killer anymore but I could tell he was just menacingly staring at me as I was slowly dying. What was there to do in a situation like this? I couldn’t move, the pain was killing me and nobody else was around. I’m sorry Goo, I guess I couldn’t get off this island… but I hope we meet each other again in the afterlife. go… cheer factory…

Narrator's perspective

Bot was unresponding, they were dead. Everyone was doing their own thing. Candle was meditating, Silver and Cabby were both walking around the island, and Yin and Yang were arguing with each other. While Cabby was walking around she spotted Silver was also walking around. That was a little suspicious to Cabby but there wasn’t much to say about him also walking around. “It could just be a coincidence” she thought to herself. But as soon as Cabby looked back in front of her, she saw the broken corpse of Bot, lying against a tree with an axe in her head. It was stuck in her left eye. The wound was covered in wires and gears. Cabby covered her mouth, seeing Bot dead. Now there were 2 deaths on the island with the remaining stranded on this island.

Cabby’s perspective:

Bots… dead…? Goo’s death wasn’t just a coincidental suicide anymore. The fact Bot was dead made me feel something I had never felt before… So this is what Bot felt about Goo’s death… I felt sick just staring at their broken body. Who was this insane to do something like this?! Why would anyone even do this? I couldn’t even imagine doing it myself… Well now this proves that Bot was right. They knew what was really going on and no one actually believed them but it was true… What was I going to do about this? Uhm… oh! I can't just stand here forever… I need to get the others here. We need to disguise what's going on and be more careful of this in the future. “EVERYONE! OVER HERE!” I called out. Does this make me a bigger suspect since i found her or not…? Oh sheets and files… it's too late though. Bots theory needs to be actually heard… I looked at bot one last time before turning to wait for the others to head over. “Don’t worry bot… I will make sure you will be heard this time…” I said as I turned around, waiting for the others to make their way over to the scene.

Chapter 9: Predator and Prey

Chapter Text

Cabby’s perspective:

Just the four of us… stranded on an island with a killer that could be one of us… Everyone saw them… Bot, lying on the tree, dead.

“So I assume Bot was right then…” Candle sighed, “What are we going to do!” Yin panicked.

“Don’t worry Yin. Mephone should come back here soon!” Candle said. I still wonder how she can calm others down in these types of predicaments.

How does she even calm herself down? That's not really important right now. I cleared my throat before speaking.

“I believe we have to figure out who the killer is before anyone else is killed.” I explained. “I agree. It’s important we stick together and come up with a solution.” Candle replied.

“So from what we know for now, nobody can be trusted until we get more evidence.” I explained “Not even your closest friends?” Yin asked, “No, not even them.” I said

“We have to find clues on who could’ve killed Them” i continued, the only main thing was the axe but if we looked around there could be some more hints

We all looked around for a good 15 or 20 minutes or so, until we came to the conclusion that none of us could find anything correlating to this, not even dust…

We all met back up to the broken body around the same time. “Did you find anything Cabby?” Candle asked. “No… I couldn't find anything.” I said.

“Strange, I couldn’t find anything either…” Candle said. “What a bummer… we didn't find anything as well.” Yang replied.

I stopped to think for a moment about what we should do next since the first plan didn’t work, but as I was pondering I noticed Candle was eyeing Silver spoon.

Candles perspective:

Silver had been strangely quiet. It was a little off to me… I knew Cabby said not to trust anyone, not even your closest friends which is great information to have at this moment,

meaning Silver wasn’t someone to be trusting, but then again I shouldn’t be trusting Cabby either. Even though she was the one who gave those words…

“Candle? What’s wrong?” Cabby asked. I looked back at her and realized my mind was wandering off. “Silver hasn’t said anything to me in a few hours, possibly even days… it’s starting to concern me.” I explained.

Silver looked over at me “I just don’t feel like talking, that’s all…” Silver said. “Well, you're currently the most suspicious one here.” Cabby answered.

“Wait, what do you mean by that?” I asked. “I saw Silver walk by as I was heading this way and-… I saw Bots body laying here…”

I looked back over at silver, it seemed like he did this, but it felt like I couldn’t believe this… “Woah woah woah! I have proof I’m not the one who did this!” Silver said with a slightly angered tone.

If silver is able to gain our trust, then our next biggest suspects are Cabby or Yang. But then again, I wish it wasn’t one of us…

“Everyone, follow me to the picnix table!” Silver said. “Wait what?! You expect us to follow you?” Cabby said, “Well, what do you think I’m gonna do? Hmph!” Silver replied.

As much as they were arguing. I couldn’t trust either of them… I just needed a break for a minute so I got up and walked off to take a break from all the commotion.

but once I went to a peaceful spot I turned to notice Yin and Yang had followed me over. “WAIT UP CANDLE!!” Yang yelled exhaustedly.

Cabby’s perspective:

As soon as it got quiet, I noticed it seemed a little too quiet… I looked around me to notice both Candle and Yin Yang were gone. “Wait, where'd they go?” I asked, “How would I know?” Silver answered.

As soon as we both realized we didn’t know where they went, I started looking around. “CANDLE??” I called out. Nobody answered.

I started to worry whether they were ok or not, but once I looked behind me I just noticed I left silver behind. Or maybe he walked off. But either way, it's probably for the better…

But wait, I was alone… that gives the killer something to hunt…! I have to find someone soon before the killer finds me…

“YIN? YANG??” I called out while searching for someone. No response yet again.

I kept looking around for them. Oh, where could they have gone?!

I could feel something was off as well, something felt weird to me… but what was it? All I knew was something felt uncomfortable…

I looked down and finally noticed what it was… one of my wheels, it was loosening?!

I didn’t even notice! But this is bad… if I don’t find someone before my wheel falls off I might be in a sticky situation…!

“GUYS?! WHERE ARE YOU??” I called out one more time. I heard a snap and saw one of my front wheels go far from my reach. I could still move with 3 wheels…! Right…?

But as I tried to move I was stuck. Oh gosh, what do I do now?! Well, nobody has tried to kill me yet… I should be fine…!

But what if I'm not fine?! What if someone is actively hunting me right now…? Oh gosh oh gosh… I just need help…! “HELP!! PLEASEE!!” I called.

But as soon as I called out I felt a sharp pain from the back of my head. Like someone just stabbed me… my eyes widened as everything started to look dizzy and went dark.

Narrators perspective:

Cabby was stabbed in the back, figuratively and literally. She was dead… stabbed by the same axe that had killed Bot.

as Candle and Yin and Yang were talking a little, they saw a tire roll over to them and fall over on the ground. Candle thought to herself thinking that was a little weird…

Yin thought they had seen that same tire before but Yang put that thought off and thought about where it came from.

“Wait… isn't that Cabby's wheel?” Yin asked. Candles expression went from calm to worried in a split second. “Yin, Yang. Let's go…” Candle said in a calm but concerned tone.

Candle had run over to where the wheel had appeared from and followed the grassy path from the tire. Yin and Yang were following Candle as she went to check on Cabby.

As soon as Candle stopped she saw the body of Cabby lying on the grass. “Cabby…?” Candle mumbled. There was no response. Yin and Yang came running to Candle to see the same thing.

Cabby’s corpse, her back had no axe but looked like something had hit her there. There was a giant scar that remained on her body.

Candle, Yin and Yang stared at the body, knowing them and silver were the last left on this isolated island.
