Summary:

Bill professes his love to Fagin through a "stolen" gift. Nancy finds out.

Chapter 1: The Bracelet

It was a fine afternoon in Saffron Hill, and Fagin was enjoying the quiet with his boys out pickpocketing. Suddenly, his peace was interrupted by a solid bang on the door of his den, and he knew it could only be one person. Before Fagin could speak, the door swung open, revealing Bill Sikes.
“Fagin. I need to talk to you.”
“What is it, Bill?”
“Just... stole this for ya. Thought you might like it.” Bill walked over to Fagin, placing a gold bracelet in his hand.
“Let me see, what ‘ave we got ‘ere?” Fagin took the bracelet, inspecting it carefully. Running his fingers over the smooth metal, he suddenly noticed a small engravement on the inside. It read:
I don’t know your name, so can I call you mine?
Fagin’s heart fluttered, but he quickly repressed the thought. There’s no way Bill could’ve meant that, right? He probably just didn’t notice the engravement, it was stolen, after all. That’s what he thought until he checked the other side and saw one word.
Bill ♡
He looked up at Bill, and saw an expression he never thought he would see. He was blushing. Bill Sikes, blushing. Fagin smiled gently.
“Bill, this is… I… wowza… do you.. really mean this?”
Bill didn’t speak. Then, without warning, he pulled Fagin in, and kissed him.
“does that answer your question?” Bill muttered sheepishly.
Fagin was speechless, so instead of speaking, he just pulled Bill into a passionate kiss by the collar of his shirt. One of Fagin’s pickpockets, Charley Bates, had overslept.
“ ‘Ey Fagin where are the oth- holy shit! Fagin!” Charley cried out
Bill and Fagin froze before turning their heads in sync.
“Charley. Out. Now.” Fagin growled.
“But where??” Charley sneered.
“WEST END! NOW GO!” Fagin yelled as Charley gapped it.

Chapter 2: Exposed

After what felt like hours of running, Charley finally found The Artful Dodger.
“Dodger! You- you will never believe what.. what I just saw,” Charley panted.
“What? What happened?” Dodger asked.
“Fagin.. and Bill… in the den!”
“Doing what? Spit it out!”
“Kissing they were!”
“FUCKIN’ KISSING?!” Dodger shouted. Charley nodded. “Come on then, we ‘ave to go find the ladies!” He ran off, dragging Charley along with him.
After a few minutes of sprinting, a voice called out to the two.
“Dodger! Charley! What’s got you two running?” Nancy shouted.
“Oh, Nancy! We were looking for you,” Dodger exclaimed, dragging Charley towards them.
“You will NEVER guess what I saw in the den,” Charley straightened himself up, catching his breath, “Fagin and Bill were kissin’!”
Bet gasped dramatically. “No way!”
Nancy however, had a different reaction. “Bill? My Bill? No.. Never Bill..”
“Yeah! Full on snogging,” Dodger confirmed.
Nancy felt sick. “You stay here with the boys, Bet. I’m going to the den,” she said, before taking off.
Despite Nancy’s orders, the three of them followed. Bet and Dodger wanted to see the two, and Charley wanted to see her confronting them. But once they got back, they saw something beyond their imagination.
A shirtless Fagin pinned against the wall by Bill, who’s shirt was unbuttoned. Nancy was heartbroken and disgusted by what she saw, a tear rolled down her cheek.
“Bill…”
