Chapter Text
“Heya, Windy!” Fire Spirit called out. He had just come to the Millennial Forest to search for Wind Archer Cookie. Whether he was here out of boredom or just to irritate Wind Archer Cookie—well, even he didn’t know. Maybe both. Probably both.
All Fire Spirit knew was that seeing Wind Archer was sure to brighten up his day.
As it was the start of the fall season, the trees in the Millennial Forest were starting to shed their leaves, the red leaves raining down from the trees, making the forest path a beautiful scarlet red, the colours blurring together like a beautiful painting, a stark contrast to the bright green in summer.
As he approached the middle of the forest, a green cookie stood still in the clearing.
Wind Archer Cookie.
Fire Spirit smiled wryly, noting the scarf that covered most of his mouth and neck. Not only that, he was wearing a green handmade cardigan given by Moonlight Cookie. Bow and arrow in hand, he stood upright before turning in Fire Spirit’s direction, the gem on his forehead shining brightly in the sun. “Windy! How’ya been?”
Wind Archer stared at him, seemingly unamused. “You burnt the forest again.” He said, looking at the charred black imprints of the forest floor.
“Hello to you too, my favourite Guardian of Nature!” He teased, smirking.
“Oh, for witches’ sake, you can be the most annoying person sometimes.” Wind Archer replied dryly, loosening the grip on his bow and putting his hand over his face, resembling a weary single father coping with a child who may or may not have undiagnosed ADHD.
“Okay but seriously, why are you here today?” Wind Archer spoke up again, side eyeing the guardian of fire.
“Oh, isn’t it obvious?” The said guardian of fire smirked, leaning closer. “To annoy you, of course.”
“Okay, but I still have some things to take care of, so don’t annoy me while I work, okay?”
“No promises!” Fire Spirit chirped, walking after Wind Archer.
“Oh dear…”
