Chapter 1: Awkward!

Sam sat down on the edge of the bed, head in his hands, elbows on his knees. They couldn't save him. He was only a kid, and his mother had to watch him die. It was all his fault. Ten minutes earlier and he would have been saved. Sam knew that it wasn't his fault, I mean he can't control traffic. But ten minutes is too close for him not to take the blame. Dean was outside fixing up the Impala and Bobby was lord knows where. It wasn't until Sam felt the blanket move and someone get out of the bed he was sitting on that he knew Castiel was there.

"Oh, hey Cas," Sam said, forcing a smile on his face. Even through his efforts, Castiel could see the tears that were about to fall from Sam's eyes.

"Did your hunt not go as you had originally planned?" The angel asked with a tilted head.

"Uh, n-no, not quite."

"Oh. Well if you would like to...speak about it...I will listen."

"Thank you, Cas." Sam appreciated the offer, but wasn't in the mood for talking. Cas nodded and looked at the boy in front of him for a second, as if he were making a decision. Then he leaned in and hugged Sam. It felt...odd. Not for the fact that they were hugging, but it just felt different. Cas quickly pulled away and exited the room. Sam slid off his shoes and slid into bed. He didn't care that he was wearing jeans. Not long later, Sam fell asleep.

Hey guysss. Sorry for the late “chapter”, some stuff came up yesterday. But I’m writing this to say that I think I might give up on this fic. For those you liked it I’m truly sorry but I couldn’t think of a future for it and after rewatching s3&4 this past month I’ve gone into a complete block on Sastiel. There moght be a Sastiel fic coming later in the future but for now im ending this one and starting up a new one. This one will most likely be Destiel (please dont feel betrayed). I’ve got so many more ideas for destiel and absolutely none for Sastiel so again i am truly sorry and hope you see you guys in the next fic.
