Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
Izuku is a teenager. He's 15 years old. He goes to U.A. high school for future heroes. Izuku has a quirk called One for All. Izuku has a close relationship with his favorite hero, All Might. Izuku has a loving mother, and amazing friends. Izuku has everything he could've wanted.
Yet...
He's still tired. He still wants to go home. He still wants to die.
...
Izuku groaned, cursing under his breath. Damn it, his body wasn't meant to wake up and puke everything up. The teenager sighed, feeling another wave of nausea wash over him as he heaved into the toilet. The burning substance sizzled his throat as it came out of his mouth.
All those pills he had swallowed went down into the toilet, never to be taken again. There was a knock at Izuku's door, which startled him. "Hang on a minute!" he yelled, spitting whatever else he had in his mouth into the toilet before flushing it. He quickly rinsed his mouth and brushed his teeth, then went and answered the door.
"Deku-kun!!" a cheerful voice rang out. Izuku smiled at them happily. "Hey, Ochaco! What's up? Did you need me for something?" he asked, wondering about the unexpected visit. Ochaco giggled a little bit, making Izuku a bit wary.
"It's movie night!! You coming or what?" she exclaimed, smiling happily, unaware of what had just occurred in the boy's dorm room. Izuku chuckled awkwardly. He didn't really want to go, plus he had "homework" he needed to do.
"Ahh, haha, about that..."
"Again? You haven't been to the last two movie nights!! Come on! It's a Friday night! There's no school tomorrow!! Just one movie, please, Izuku!!"
Izuku mentally groaned, suppressing the urge to groan actually. He sighed, giving in to Ochaco's begging. "Fine. But only one movie. And I'm taking a shower before. Whose dorm is it this time? Shoto's? Tenya's?" he stated.
Ochaco laughed nervously. "Eheheh, well, um, actually..."
"It's my dorm, isn't it?"
"Heheh, yeah."
"Nope."
Izuku started to close the door, up to no further arguments, but Ochaco pushed it open. "Izuku! Your room can't be that bad!! It's fine!" she said, trying to get a look inside the dorm room, but Izuku covered the view. "It's really messy! We can have it in the common room or something instead!!" Izuku tried reasoning.
Ochaco rolled her eyes and shoved Izuku out of the way. He stumbled backwards, and Ochaco took it to her advantage to look into the room.
It was clean. Spotless. There was no All Might though, surprisingly, a poster or tiny trinket here or there, but nothing else, it was weird. The bathroom door was ajar slightly. Books were on shelves, all neat and organized, there were no clothes on the floor, his desk was actually a desk, not a mess...
His room looked...
Weirdly clean.
"Wow. This is cleaner than usual. I can actually see your desk!!" Ochaco joked. But she continued, "Don't try lying that it's messy, it usually always is. Why can't we just do it in your room?" Izuku groaned- for real, this time.
"You know what, fine. It's 'cause I'm a bit sick, Ochaco. I don't want you guys in here because I'm sick. So we can just do it in the common room, or I can just skip out this ti-"
"YOU ARE NOT GONNA SKIP. I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE SICK, DYING, OR HEALTHY. YOU ARE GOING TO THIS MOVIE NIGHT, MIDORIYA IZUKU."
"Eughh, fine."
Ochaco turned around, stepping out of the dorm. "Go take your shower, we'll meet you down in the common rooms! So be there in, at most, an hour, or as soon as possible please!!" she chirped before leaving to tell the others. Izuku groaned loudly, making sure Ochaco heard, then he closed the door to his dorm.
Izuku sighed, grabbing his pajamas. He was sick, sure, but not physically sick... He was sick in the head. There are these voices that tell him to do things, and he doesn't wanna do them, but it'll stop the voices, so he does them anyway. He's sick. And he wants to get better, he truly does, but it'll only get better if he dies. It's a lose-lose situation.
The teenager grabbed his toiletries, going down to the common room, playfully glaring at Ochaco while he went to the boys' bathrooms. He made sure no one else was in there before he went into a shower stall and started it up. He stripped off his clothes, taking a shaky step into the burning water.
The hot water hit his tense muscles, helping him to unwind from his most recent attempt at death. He soon got to work scrubbing his body, carefully bathing the injuries his class shouldn't know about. He rinsed off and then lathered his curly hair with shampoo, then conditioner.
When he finished washing everything, he was just relaxing under the nice, soothing, hot water. He let out a satisfied breath before turning off the water and grabbing his towel. He dried his body off, slipping on his underwear.
He peeked his head out of his stall- still no one in here. Good. Izuku stepped out, going through his bag and taking out the gauze wrap he keeps in there. He carefully wraps it around the cuts on his arms, being gentle and patient. He soon finished and deemed it good.
He quickly threw on his pants and a long-sleeved shirt, then grabbed his toiletries and walked out, drying his hair while he walked to his dorm. He set everything in there, mentally preparing himself for the movie night his friends would force him to join.
He grabbed his phone and walked down to the common room, where he got greeted with his friend group bickering about which movie to watch. The choices were Frozen, IT, or Mean Girls.
"Frozen, because it's fucking amazing. Also because Let It Go," the half'n'half boy, Shoto, said. Of course he'd pick Frozen, it was one of his favorite movies with songs. A couple grumbled, but there were no arguments.
"Hm, no. I think IT. It's Friday, and a scary movie is the perfect movie for this movie night. And Izuku is finally joining us after missing the last two movie nights. He loves horror movies, and I'm like, 90% sure that he hasn't seen IT yet," Ochaco reasoned, fighting for the horror side. Tsu shook her head.
"You know I hate horror movies, Ochaco. Especially IT. Too scary for me, it'll give me nightmares all over again," Tsu spoke, disagreeing with her movie choice. Tenya nodded his head, agreeing with Tsu's point of view.
"I agree with Tsu. Though horror is Midoriya's favorite genre, it may not be for everyone. We wouldn't want to wake with night terrors during the night and ruin out sleep schedule. Mean Girls isn't too childish, nor horror, and it still has songs you can sing along to, Todoroki." Shoto mumbled something, probably disagreeing with the statement that it didn't have Let It Go. Tenya continued, "Plus, it's a good movie."
Ochaoc immediately starting arguing back with that, which caused Tenya and Shoto to argue back. Tsu didn't say anything, not liking conflict.
Izuku rolled his eyes and went over, jumping over the back of the couch and landing on it, sitting between Tenya and Ochaco. "I think Mean Girls. Feeling toxic pink musical tonight," Izuku stated, snatching the remote and putting on Mean Girls, leaving no room for argument. Tsu made a joke about Izuku's bright pink Hello Kitty pajama pants.
Ochaco and Todoroki grumbled, but didn't complain about the movie that was put on. The group of five watched the movie. Somewhere around the one-hour mark, the exhaustion of the event earlier that day was catching up to Izuku.
It was hard to keep his eyes open or even pay attention to the movie. He glanced at the friends on both sides. They all seemed wide awake. Izuku decided fuck them, that he would follow in with sleep. He got comfy, curling up next to Tenya, and promptly passed out into the darkness called sleep.
Tenya looked at the newly added weight on his left side. He smiled at the sleeping form, wrapping his arm around it and gently ruffling Izuku's curly hair, careful not to wake him.
About 20 minutes later, Tenya had managed to fall asleep like Izuku. Shoto also went to sleep, leaning on Tenya for sleeping support. Ochaco and Tsu giggled at their friends, and took a few pictures of them in their sleeping state. But close to the movie ending, the two did fall asleep.
So the friend group had a nice cuddle session together.
The night was peaceful. No one had nightmares or sleep terrors (besides the normal). They didn't wake up until morning, which was at like, 9. Later than normal for a couple of them, but whatever. Sleep is important, and either way, it's the weekend. It's not like they're gonna be scolded for it.
Besides, Izuku's tired. He wants to go to sleep already.

Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
It was the morning, finally. A nice Saturday too. The perfect day to hang out with friends! Sigh, if only Izuku wasn't so tired.
He woke up, the noises of his classmates loud and buzzing with energy. He groaned, rubbing the extra sleep dust from his eyes and stretching. He looked around, noticing that he wasn't in his dorm room...
Oh yeah. The events from last night rolled in, causing him to remember the movie night his friends and he had. He must've fallen asleep during it. Oh well, at least he let himself sleep.
Izuku hummed, clearing his throat as he got off the couch and onto his feet. He walked into the kitchen, spotting his half'n'half friend. Ah, perfect. A human heater, all open and free for Izuku.
The boy went to Shoto's left side, wrapping himself around it and closing his eyes. "Mornin', Sho," Izuku said, his voice a bit more hoarse due to waking up. Shoto hummed in response, usually not one to speak to anyone in the morning until he wakes up fully. "G'morn Izu.." Shoto lightly said, which brought a smile to Izuku's face.
The left side of Todoroki's body heated up a bit, and the right side froze a bit. It was part of Shoto's morning routine, that way his quirk didn't overheat or overfreeze his body later that day. Usually, it's done with Izuku, too, since his bones and joints enjoy the warmth and coldness.
Izuku sighed in satisfaction. He's gonna miss this..
The two boys got their breakfast, breaking apart and eating together in silence. Izuku finished his food first, but waited for the slower teenager to finish. They had this Saturday ritual, where they'd go to Izuku's dorm and just hang out. They could be playing video games, doing homework, working on their own thing, or whatever. They'd first stop by Todoroki's room so he could get his things, then Izuku's.
Shoto was done with his food finally after a few minutes. He looked over at Izuku, noticing that he was already done with his breakfast. The two looked at each other and smiled, then they glanced over at Katsuki, who was looking at the two in confirmation. Kacchan was also in on the ritual, but he joined them a few minutes later.
Izuku stood up, washing his and Todoroki's dishes quickly, then taking one more look at Bakugo and smiled. The two friends finally left for Todoroki's dorm room first, on floor 5.
Todoroki grabbed his things, and then the two made it to Izuku's room, on the 2nd floor. Katsuki was there, leaning against the wall by the door and waiting.
"Finally. You both took forever in Icy Hot's dorm," Katsuki said, smirking. He lifted himself up off of the wall and stood by Icy Hot, waiting for the nerd to unlock his dorm.
"I know, sorry, Kacchan. You just gotta be patient," Izuku said, opening the door and flicking on the overhead lights. He walked in, plopping down on his bed. The two other teenagers came in behind him, getting themselves comfortable on the floor.
Katsuki was immediately on the TV, turning it on and getting it onto a game he has been threatening war against Todoroki in for forever (the entire week). Izuku was in his notebook with a pen in his hand, ready to write away. Shoto was on his phone, trying to learn the moves in the game quickly, but when a remote was thrust into his hands, he sighed and decided to go with the best (and worst) move: mashing buttons and hoping for the best.
As soon as Izuku knew the two others were busy, he flipped to the back of the notebook. He was going to write about his most recent attempt at death- the one last night. He was going to try again today, too. After dinner.
Since overdose didn't work, he was going to try something else. He won't say what yet though, but it just won't be pills.
He wrote about that, then when he was done, he moved onto scrolling his phone. He shot a picture of Shoto and Katsuki, then posted it online.
Izuku giggled gently at the two teenagers, and at the buzz of both of their phones. They both quickly glanced at them to check the notification. Katsuki whipped his head around to look at Izuku. Todoroki logged into his phone and smiled at the post.
"Nice shot, Izu," Shoto complimented. Bakugo snatched the phone out of his hands and looked at the photo. "Stalker," Katsuki muttered out. Izuku laughed.
The teenagers continued with playing video games, Izuku joining in the game a bit later in their hangout. They all chilled and laughed and overall enjoyed their time together.
"Same time next week?" Izuku joked when they were leaving his dorm. Shoto chuckled and nodded his head. Katsuki playfully rolled his eyes and said, "I'll make sure to clear my calendar." They all knew he never had plans Saturday morning.
The boys left to their own devices, leaving Izuku all alone. The boy sighed, leaning against the closed door. He was alone... Ugh, he should never be left alone these days, who knows what he might do, he could end up dead.
IZUKU'S POV:
Hmm, I wonder what I should do now. Kacchan and Shoto left my dorm, so I probably shouldn't disturb them... Ochaco's probably hanging out with the girls, and I really don't want to deal with that right now... again.
I shivered at the thought of last time. Ugh, I couldn't get rid of glitter for weeks.
I thought back to what Ida and Tsu would be doing right now. Ida's probably studying for the upcoming test in Ectoplasm's class. I already studied, though I don't think I'll be joining- I hope I won't be joining.
Tsu is probably talking with her family on call or also with the girls, both of which I really don't want to disturb.
So that leaves not a lot of people. Hm... Well, my bathroom does need major cleaning due to the incident of my failed attempt last night.
Ugh, I guess I'll clean my bathroom for tonight's attempt.
NO ONE'S POV:
While Izuku was cleaning his messy bathroom, another student of 1A was bored and in need of wanting something to do.
The first person they thougth of who was most likely doing nothing important and down to hang out with them was Midoriya, the class cutie.
The student walked to his dorm, knocking politely on the door. "Coming!! Gimme a moment!!" Izuku called from inside his dorm.
Izuku opened the door, looking at who knocked on his door. "Ah! Shoji! It's nice to see you! How are you? What'd you need?" Izuku cheerfully said, as if he didn't almost try to down a bottle of toilet cleaner.
Shoji smiled nervously, though you wouldn't be able to see it through the mask. He didn't know if Midoriya would want to hang out with him. "Hey Midoriya. I was wondering if you would like to hang out together," he said. Midoriya smiled happily.
"I'd love to! But maybe not in my dorm, I'm cleaning the bathroom right now and it smells like purely headache-inducing hospital," Izuku replied. Shoji could at least smell that much. Midoriya asked a very important question. "Hey, have you ever played Mario Cart?"
"Have I ever? I'm practically the king of that game." Shoji stated proudly.
Midoriya smirked. "Yeah? Well I'm basically the god of that game."
"Is that a challenge?"
"Hell yeah, it is."
And that's the magical story of how they ended up playing Mario Cart for about two hours straight. A knock at the door disrupted the game.
"Yo, Shoji, I wanted to swing by to pick up those romance novels you recommended to me- Hey Midoriya! Didn't know you'd be in here!! Anyways, those books- IS THAT MARIO CART??? I'm literally the master of that game! SCOOT OVER!!" Kaminari said, shutting the door and squeezing in beside Midoriya. "Anyone got an extra remote?"
"Nah, I'm using Midoriya's remote, sorry bro," Shoji said, getting up and grabbing the book he told Kaminari about.
"All good, dude," Kaminari said, nodding in understanding.
Midoriya chuckled. "I have another remote. It's in my room though, so I'll have to go grab it real quick," MIdoriya said, standing up.
"Woo! Group buddy trip to Midoriya's room!! And the kitchen too please, if we can. My stomach is SPEAKING TO ME!!" As if on cue, Kaminari's stomach grumbled in hunger. Shoji and Midoriya laughed, Kaminari joining in.
The group of three traveled to the kitchen first, grabbing some snacks and drinks for their little party of three. Then they all went up to Midoriya's room. The lingering smell of bleach and hospital littered the room. A bottle of window cleaner sat on the desk, a cloth and cup next to it.
Midoriya quickly collected the needed remote. It was red :)
"Yo, Midoriya, make sure to put the cleaner away. I'd be really bad if that somehow got into your water," Kaminari said, pointing at the blue liquid trapped in a spray bottle.
"Yeah, it'll kill you if it's swallowed," Shoji said. That reminded Kaminari of the time he once ate a tide pod when he was a little kid and was rushed to the hospital. He told the two new friends the story while they walked back to Shoji's emo room.
Midoriya's mind was on the window cleaner. He knew how he was going to die. He was going to copy Heather Chandler but make it actual suicide- and with window cleaner instead of drain cleaner, of course. They were out of drain cleaner.
The three friends played Mario Cart and other games the rest of the day, not really paying attention to the time until they heard people calling their goodnights and shutting their doors.
"Ah, guess it's bedtime. Goodnight guys, thanks for letting me play with you guys. And thanks Shoji for those books!~" Kaminari said, gushing over the cheesy romance novels as he skipped out.
"Thanks for wanting to hang out, Shoji. You're a good friend. Goodnight, sleep tight!" Midoriya said, having his things and about to walk out of Shoji's room.
"Thank you for agreeing to hang out, Midoriya. If you ever need someone to talk to or be with, I'm here. Goodnight, Midoriya, see you in the morning?" Shoji said, and it almost sounded like a question. Would he see him in the morning? Who knows.
Midoriya glanced back at him. "Mhm, night," he said, not confirming or denying that he was going to see him. Midoriya soon left the octopus-like human's dorm, returning to his own.
Izuku put all his stuff away. He took the window cleaner and went into the bathroom, which was sickly clean now.
Izuku sat in the bathtub, his head resting on the side. Welp... This is it. Goodbye, Mom, love you. Goodbye Kacchan and Shoto and Shoji and Kaminari and Ochaco and Ida and Tsu and all his other friends, Goodbye and thank you, Mr. Aizawa. Goodbye everyone, and sorry, for the tragic pain you all will go through and recieve. It's been an honor to be with you all.
Goodbye, Izuku thought as he chugged the bottle of window cleaner. After a few minutes, everything was fuzzy and getting dark. At least he would die with squeaky clean insides. Ah yes, the cold embrace of death. It's...
Perfect.

COME BACK FOR CHAPTER 3 - Eight Days ?
Chapter 3: Eight Days
Notes:
TW! this chapter will have the following:
- vomit/puke
- hanging
- cleaning, ugh
Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
Izuku woke up coughing and gasping for air. He puked up whatever was in his body straight into the bathtub. He coughed up the rest and spit it out. Ugh, so much for the window cleaner.
Izuku groaned. What time was it? Where even was his phone? Did he make sure to put it on the charger?
Izuku lifted himself out of his dirty bathtub, taking a shaky step out and just sitting on the edge. God, he felt dizzy. He was going to get his over foot out, but he slipped, causing him to fall back into the bathtub and into the vomit. Ew, gross.
Izuku groaned and sat up. He stood up, using the rail on the wall for support. Good thing he asked for there to be a rail and seat in the shower, otherwise he would still be sitting in his puke.
Izuku sighed, fighting off the dizziness. Once he felt better- good enough to get out of the bathtub, he stood up, gripping onto the rail to steady himself. He moved on to holding the towel rack, and then soon was sitting on the toilet.
Izuku took a deep breath, trying to regain a clear head. Everything was spinning right now, causing Midoriya to be dizzy and unable to walk good right now.
Izuku, while sitting, took off his soiled shirt and tossed it in the bathtub. He also tried his best on taking off his pants and threw those in as well.
The teenager soon got onto the ground. Walking was not the best choice right now, but he can crawl. So that's exactly what he did. He crawled his way into his actual room, all the way to the closet so he could get out clothes. He eventually grabbed a shirt, tugging it down off the hanger, and then grabbed some sweats, along with some underwear.
Midoriya looked at the clock by his bed, noticing the time was around 9:30. He didn't care that it was after nine and that he woke up late. Ugh, Ida or Shoto will probably come to his dorm to check on him, possibly both. He needs to get decent fast.
Izuku made sure his clothes were fine before he quickly crawled back to the bathroom. He turned the shower on, letting the cold water hit the bathtub and clean it for him.
Izuku stood up slowly, taking his time to get up. He stepped into the bathtub, wiping the rest of the expelled contents of his stomach to the drain with his foot. He rinsed his hair with water, letting himself get clean, then actually cleaned it with shampoo and conditioner.
He cleaned his body with soap, making sure to get every inch of himself squeaky clean, just like his insides were last night. Once Izuku deemed it acceptable, he turned off the shower and grabbed the towel, drying himself off with it. He slipped into his clean, dry clothes and went out of the bathroom. Luckily, he wasn't dizzy anymore and was able to walk just fine.
Izuku quickly checked what day it was- ugh, chore day?! NEVER MIND HE SHOULD'VE TRIED HARDER TO DIE LAST NIGHTTT!!! Maybe if he's lucky, he can quickly do it now before anyone shows up-
There was a knock at the door, quiet voices outside of his room.
It freaked Midoriya out.
Izuku went to answer the door, opening it. Oh, it was Ida and Shoto. Heh, quessed right!!
"Good morning, Shoto and Tenya! Did you two need something?" Izuku spoke with kindness and like he was alive. He didn't want to be alive. Everything was too stressful. He's only a teenager too, why should the world go onto his shoulder for him to carry? Can't he just have one week go by without a villain attack or bad thing happen for once?
Oh, Tenya said something. He should snap out of that thought. It'll come back to him later though, probably during school in the next chapter because author doesn't wanna write it right now. They're lazy and just want to finish this chapter so they can publish it and get to the next.
"Hm? Sorry Tenya, what'd you say? I zoned out for a second there," Izuku said, a sheepish grin on his face. Tenya sighed.
"Izuku, we came to check on you to make sure you were awake. Today is chore day after all! Everyone should be awake and bustling!! So on the list for this week you're on... Oh, you don't have any duty this time. Nice! Guess you just have to clean your room, heh! Well we just wanting to check up on you, bye, Izuku, happy chore day!" Tenya said, smiling as he walked away. Shoto stayed at the door.
"Yes, Shoto? Need something?" Izuku asked. Shoto nodded his head and opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it.
Shoto instead opened his arms for a hug. Oh, was he asking for a hug? Sure! Izuku smiled and hugged him, squeezing him tight. Shoto wrapped his arms around him, enjoying the hug. They stayed like that for a few minutes, just enjoying the other's company and affection.
Then they finally parted. Izuku smiled at the teenager. "What was that all about? Just missed me and wanted a hug or what?" he joked.
Shoto hummed. "Your breath smelled like window cleaner. I'm not sure though. It might've just been your dorm," Shoto said, calm and nonchalant. Izuku's eyes widened for a split second, then went back quickly.
"Ye-yeah! I was using the window cleaner in my dorm, so that must've been what you were smelling. Sorry!" Izuku quickly explained, lying straight to Shoto's scarred face.
"Oh, okay. Well if you ever need help then just call me and I'll come. Bye, Izuku, see you later, and 'happy cleaning', I guess," Shoto said, quoting what Tenya had said earlier to Izuku. Izuku giggled and nodded his head.
"Happy cleaning, Sho! The same goes for you, if you need help you know who to call!" Izuku said. Shoto nodded his head this time.
"Bakugo." Shoto confidently stated in his monotone voice.
"No, I meant me. Kacchan will beat you up over how poorly you're cleaning if you need his help while he's cleaning the kitchen." Izuku deadpanned.
"Oh. So you?"
"Yes, Shoto, if you need help then you can call me."
"Got it... so no Bakugo?"
"I would strongly suggest against it."
Once that was over with and the two teens parted ways, Izuku got to actually cleaning his dorm... er, after he checked his socials.
Izuku sighed, grabbing the dirty clothes from all around his dorm- the clothes in the bathroom included, and threw them into his dirty laundry hamper. He picked it up and left his dorm, going to the community bathroom. It had washers and dryers in there for people's clothes too.
Midoriya threw in his clothes, starting the washer. Okay, he had an hour and thirty minutes until he had to come back and switch his clothes. He can clean his dorm at that time. It wasn't that messy.
Izuku went back to his room, starting up music before he went to pick up loose items off the floor. He put them in their respective places and soon got the vacuum from one of his classmates. He quickly dusted and vacuumed the room, handing the sucker-upper to the next person.
His phone buzzed with a notification when he closed his room's door. He popped it out to check on it. Oh! His friends were having a conversation on his latest post! He better check that out! He made sure to respond too.
Izuku laughed and put his phone away, then he continued to clean, spraying everything down and deep cleaned them. He also especially made sure to clean the bathroom. Most definitely the tub. That was a mess.
Once Izuku was finished cleaning his dorm, the timer on his phone to switch the laundry screamed, startling Izuku. He quickly turmed it off, going down to the bathroom.
The teenager checked to make sure the washer was finished running before moving the clothes to the dryer, turning it on to the right setting before starting another timer on his phone.
Izuku left the room, going into the common room. Ochaco, one of his friends who were on common room duty, waved at him. Izuku waved back, smiling.
"Do you guys need some help? I'm about done with my dorm, just waiting for laundry to finish drying," Izuku said, walking closer to the group. Ashido smirked when Midoriya said that, turning and facing him.
"Midoriya, Izuku babes, you could be a great help if you'd dust and organize the TV stand," she said, pointing to the amazingly messy TV stand. Izuku gulped. God, why'd he offer to help.
"Alright! I can do that," Izuku said, grabbing a dust rag and getting to work on it. He first took everything off and out of it, then dusted it down. Huh, didn't know it was white!
After about an hour, the stand had been fully cleaned and organized. Midoriya felt proud of himself.
When the timer was up, he grabbed his now fully clean and dried clothes and brought them to his room, deciding he'd stay in there for the rest of the day. He put his clothes away in their spots and sighed.
Maybe now, while everyone was busy and didn't need him, he could... I mean, he has all he needed for the attempt he'd try to do today. There's a rope and a chair, that's about all. The ceiling fan could support his body weight- he's tested it.
Izuku took a breath, sitting on the chair by his desk. He opened the drawer, taking out the rope in there. He started to knot it, not talking or having any noise in the background. He knotted it in silence, letting his mask crumble. Izuku was tired. Izuku didn't want to do this anymore, he didn't want to live his life anymore.
Just as Izuku moved the chair, his phone rang. Weird, he didn't have any timers or alarms. He took out his phone, checking what it was buzzing about. Oh, it was his mom calling him! He better pick this up.
"Hello? Mom? What's up?" Izuku said, greeting his mother. Inko said something back, causing Izuku to smile. His mask got pulled up and glued back together.
Inko and Izuku talked for a while, heck, it was almost 7 when they wrapped up their conversation!
"Alright, bye mom, I love you so much," Izuku said, truly meaning his words. Inko said bye and I love you back to her son, whom she loved dearly. Then they both hung up.
Izuku sighed, putting his phone off to the side, on his desk. Welp, at least he got to talk to his mom one last time. Gosh, he hopes she isn't sad about this. His reasoning was in the letter, so hopefully she would understand...
The teenager stood up on the chair, tying the rope to the ceiling. He wore it like a necklace, taking what would hopefully be his last breaths.
Midoriya kicked the chair out from under him, letting himself fall. He didn't land on his feet, he was just above the ground. He couldn't breathe well, and his vision was getting all spotty. His head felt tingly due to the lack of oxygen.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. It startled Izuku. He was still alive and conscious!! No one should see him like this besides himself.
Izuku quickly grabbed onto the scissors in his back pocket and quickly cut the rope. He fell to the ground with a thub, trying his best to gasp for breath as quietly as possible.
"Give me a.. moment!!" Izuku said, breathing between words. He quickly took down the rope and yanked it off, throwing it into the bathroom through the open door. He set the chair upright, though there was no time to put it at the desk. Oh well, it's fine like this.
Izuku quickly went to the door, answering it. "Yes? What did you need?" he asked, opening it just to reveal Ochaco. "Oh, hi, Ochaco!"
Ochaco smiled. "Hey, Deku-kun! Me and the class were wondering if you would like to join us for a movie! It won't last long, I can assure you that!" she said cheerfully. Midoriya smiled back, acting as if he didn't just try to kill himself.
"Ah, I will! Let me get changed into my pajamas first, then I'll join you guys. I'll be down in a bit!" Izuku said, trying to hide his neck subtly. Ochaco nodded her head, then glanced inside of Izuku's dorm.
"Why's there a chair in the middle of your room? What, were you trying to hang yourself before I got here?" Ochaco joked, laughing a bit. Izuku awkwardly laughed with her, for that was what actually went on.
"Nah, I was just changing one of my lightbulbs. Too short to actually reach it though, so had to use my chair," Izuku casually said, pointing at one of the brighter bulbs. Ochaco hummed, believing the lie.
Truthfully, the last time a lightbulb was changed in that room was over a month ago, and it was because Izuku accidentally hit it with a weight and smashed it. The shards got everywhere and cut Izuku. He had to clean that mess up.
Ochaco said something, then left to go downstairs. Izuku closed the door, and once it was fully shut he let out a breath he hadn't known he was holding.
Izuku quickly changed into his pajamas- the same pink Hello Kitty pants and a random shirt as the first chapter.
He went down to the common room. People were buzzing around, chatting and overall having a good time.
None of them knew what had just occurred in the sunshine student's dorm only minutes ago.
Izuku got himself some dinner and sat down on the couch, chatting with some of his friends. A few moments later, a movie was put on and the class gathered around, getting cozy and watching the film.
About twenty minutes into the movie, Izuku let the familiar darkness called sleep overcome him. He soon fell asleep, not really caring that it was around all his classmates or while they were watching something. He was tired, and right now, he just really needs some sleep.
So he slept, and he slept 'til morning until he had to wake up for the dreaded event called school.

Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
It was a normal morning. Izuku woke up on his bed-
Wait, on his bed? He didn't fall asleep on his bed? He fell asleep on the couch. Izuku tried to rack his brain for any possibilities as to why on earth he would be in his room.
The memory of someone carrying him came back. One of his classmates must have brought him to his dorm when the movie was finished. Yeah, that must've been what happened. Oh no. Please say the person that brought him there didn't look into the bathroom!!
Izuku quickly got up out of his bed, tripping over the blankets and bringing it all down with him on the floor face first. He groaned, then jumped up, not paying attention to the light stinging.
He peered into the bathroom, hoping it went unused and unseen. Luckily, the door was the same amount of closed as he left it, and the rope was... somewhere in there.
Phew, that's good. Oh, never mind. Nothing was good. There was school today. Ugh. Lame. Izuku hates school, so does most of class 1A.
The time was around six in the morning. Class started around eight, so two hours until class! That'll give Midoriya plenty of time to get ready! Speaking of which, where'd he put his uniform?
Once Midoriya was dressed and ready for school, he went down to the common room. There weren't too many people down there- most were getting dressed and ready for school.
Izuku got a nice breakfast of cereal and whatever fruit he would find in the fridge. They needed to go grocery shopping. Maybe he'll do that after school. It'll be like a way to pay the class back for all that they've done. He'll get everyone gifts too. Yeah, that sounds like an amazing plan.
Students of class 1A trinkled out of their dorm, all of them tired and groggy, not wanting to school today. Soon, just about the whole class was in the common room or kitchen, either chatting with friends or doing their own thing.
The time came closer and closer to when they had to start leaving to get to class on time. Izuku went up to his dorm and grabbed his backpack, heading back down to the common room.
Izuku went to the front door and pulled on his normal bright red shoes. He loves his shoes, though they're the only ones that are really made for his feet, since he has two pinky joints instead of one. But it's fine! At least he doesn't have a million choices to pick from for shoes, and these ones seem to work wonders in his favor, so yay!
He lingered by the door for a bit, checking his phone for any new notifications. Soon, his classmates started exiting the dormitory, heading to the main campus. Izuku went with them.
Shoto and Katsuki were a bit ahead, so Izuku speed walked up to them.
"Good morning Kacchan! Good morning Shoto!" Izuku gleefully said with a bright smile, despite it being Monday morning. Katsuki hummed, his face looking as bitchy as ever. Shoto looked at Midoriya.
"Morning, Midoriya. Are you ready for class?" he spoke, trying to strike up a conversation. Izuku smiled and nodded his head.
"Yeah, I am!! I heard that today we were-" Izuku rambled on. Usually he was the one to talk on their way to school, and the others muttered something to add on to the conversation.
It lasted the entire walk to school. The trio parted ways when they got to the classroom and had to get to their assigned seats. Izuku side-hugged Shoto, smiling and waving bye to him even though they would most certainly see each other during and not during class. Katsuki huffed, walking to his seat in front of Izuku's desk and plopping down, setting down his bag and getting whatever needed out.
Izuku quickly followed Katsuki, getting his notebook and pencil out. The rest of the class came in, filling up before the bell rang. They talked noisily and a lot, but they were silence with their teacher, Aizawa, walked in.
"Class. Today you guys will..." Izuku started to tune out then, his mind wandering places. He wasn't even listening to what Mr. Aizawa was saying, which isn't like him. Usually he's all about listening and learning at school. Today must be different.
Chairs scrapped, signalling that people were getting up. Izuku snapped out of whatever trance he was in and stood up too, following his class to the locker room. Ugh, he should've been paying attention. Now he doesn't know what the hell they're doing for training today.
Midoriya was on autopilot, just getting dressed into his PE uniform and putting his school uniform neatly in his locker. Everyone else seemed to have gotten changed into their PE clothes, so Izuku just copied them.
Izuku started to walk out of the locker room to go to where they were supposed to train at.
Wait... Where were they supposed to train today?
"Kacchan, where were we supposed to go to for training again?" Izuku asked Katsuki, whose locker was near his.
Katsuki rolled his eyes, but still answered, "It's in Ground Beta. How did you out of all people forget?" Izuku said his thanks as he began to leave. Yeah, it was weird to just forget where you're training at, even for Midoriya, especially for Midoriya. Was he feeling alright?
Katsuki quickly got dressed, finishing just as his childhood friend walked out of the locker room. Katsuki threw his clothes in the locker and slammed it shut before hurrying out of the room. He was trying to catch up to Izuku.
"De- Izuku!" Katsuki called out, running to stand by Izuku. The two continued walking when Katsuki got there. "Are you feeling okay today? You better not be fuckin' sick. We're sparring today and I don't need your ass beat." Even though Katsuki would never admit it, he worried and cared for all his friends. He just has a unique way of showing it. Like when Shoto had a breakdown over the homework, Katsuki helped him through it and made him food. Yes, he had a lot of colorful vocabulary, but it showed Shoto that Katsuki cares.
It was the same with the self proclaimed Bakusquad. Katsuki cares about all of them- hell, he cares about the whole class! Except he would rather put a gun to his head and pull the trigger than actually admit that.
Izuku smiled. It didn't reach his eyes... "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little bit sick right now, but it'll get better soon. I'm perfectly fine to train!!" he said. Izuku wasn't telling a full lie. He was sick. In the head. All the thoughts in there are sick and tell him to do things he doesn't want to do, but they'll only get louder if he doesn't do it, or if he does something wrong... They'll be quiet if he does what they tell him to do.
And they're telling him to hurt himself and die.
It's not pretty thoughts or voices, but he can't really stop it. He doesn't want to be a burden and ask for help, but he doesn't know how to make it stop. He only knows to do what they want for them to shut up. Sometimes the voices keep him awake at night, and he's unable to sleep. And sometimes they just don't stay quiet. They'll talk and talk and talk, and drive Izuku insane. That's not a pretty sight, either.
"-Ku? Izuku!" Katsuki yelled, dragging Izuku back to reality. Izuku hummed, looking at Katsuki's crimson eyes. "You zoned out. Fucker better not get hurt or else I'll beat your ass myself," the blonde said, looking away. He was worried about Izuku.
It was something about his eyes, about his face. They just looked so... tired. It was like he was an old man waiting for death to come and take him already. It was just sad. He had this thousand yard stare- like he wasn't all the way there.
There were these bags under his eyes that were darker than ever, and he didn't even bother to cover it up. And he smells like pills and cleaner. Pills and cleaner! Izuku shouldn't be smelling that way! He normally smells like sweets and strawberries. Sweets and strawberries! How does a person go from sweet strawberries to chemical drugs scent?! Katsuki couldn't wrap his head around that.
Izuku was worrying Katsuki a lot. It wasn't a good thing, since Katsuki sweats whenever he's worried. God, his sparring partner is going to go through Hell and back when they're done.
Training went just fine, but Izuku seemed distracted during the entire thing. He ended up getting hurt and having to go to Recovery Girl at the end of class with Kaminari, who got blasted with one of Katsuki's explosions. Ashido apologized profusely for that.
Other than that. School seemed to go by quickly. Except math. Ugh, fucking math. [eyeroll.]
They were doing a packet given out. It was due tomorrow at the beginning of class. So basically homework.
The voices were getting a bit loud. They just wouldn't shut up.
IZUKU'S POV: (ngl loved writing this part)
I can't seem to focus on my schoolwork right now. Everything else is just too distracting right now, and I can't seem to get my mind off of the thought of leaving this mortal plane. The thought of it actually happening seemed so much better, like a load taken off of everyone's shoulders...
It'd definitely be a big load off mine. I mean, I'm given a quirk after living basically all my life quirkless, and so I need to master that. Then I'm handed six more quirks. And I'm supposed to master them all before I basically go to war against this villain that's been alive for generations and is basically OP and immortal. So it's just about suicide.
I now have the weight of the world put upon me at the ripe age of fifteen. I'm in my first year of high school.
And because of said quirk, I get hurt almost every time I use it. Yes, I've mastered it enough to the point where I no longer get hurt and break my bones, but in the beginning I was breaking all 206 of my bones, or that's what it seemed like.
So I was worrying everyone, especially my mom. I hate to make her worry about me. There's too much on her plate, I didn't need to add my broken bones on there too.
And I'm not even going to get started on middle school! I got bullied so much then. And for what? Not having a quirk?! Well now that I finally have a fucking quirk they look up to me and love me?! What kind of bullshit is that!
I have more scars than I do friends, and more than the average teenager has! I'm never able to be just a teenager. I can never just hang out or go through my day without wanting to die or having to be older than I should be.
I'm sixteen. I want to go somewhere with friends and not have to worry about villains. I want to make dumb decisions and make mistakes that I'll regret later but I won't care because I had fucking fun! I want to indulge in junk food and yell at sappy English dramas. I want to get rid of my constant pain, both my physical and mental pain. I want to spend just one day, not hating myself, just to relax and spend on my own. I want a break. I need a break.
I want a lot of things. I want the thoughts in my brain to be silent. But I can't have that. I can't have any of that. I just need a break from everything for a while. Some time to recharge. But I never do have the time between school and friends and villains to do any of that.
But... I'm told if I just die, I can have my break for as long as I want... And I wouldn't even have to worry anyone anymore or burden them... It'd be like a dream come true...
That's why I'm trying my best. I'm trying my best to make people stop worrying about me, because there's nothing to worry about. I dont want to burden them. I can't worry or burden someone if I'm not here, right? So I found my answer to my problem. Great. Except the universe just hates me and won't let me. But it's fine... Someday, my wishes will be heard. Someday, my wishes will come true.
Just someday.
NO ONE'S POV:
School flew by. It was let out, and Midoriya went shopping for groceries. He didn't have enough room to get gifts, but it's fine. He'll just make everyone gifts!
Izuku was chilling in his dorm, staring at his empty notebook. He kept sneaking glances towards the bathroom. After a few silent minutes, Izuku got up. He closed his notebook, leaving it on the desk. He walked to the bathroom and got out a plastic bag. He took a deep breath before pulling it over his head, hoping it'll do it's thing and obstruct his breathing.
Izuku waited for his time to come.
... ........hm. Interesting.
He took a deep breath. He could breathe. Izuku tore off the bag and looked it over everywhere for holes. Ugh, there was a big fat hold right there!! How did he not notice this?! And it was the only bag he had in his room!
He's gonna try a pillow. He did not do that angsty BS during class just for THIS to happen.
Izuku tried a pillow to suffocate himself. That didn't work either. He couldn't get the right angle. UGH.
The teenager screamed into his pillow, kicking his bed. This was so frustrating! Why couldn't it just happen the first time?! Oh yeah, 'cause if any of his attempts worked this wouldn't be a fanfiction. Izuku thinks this fanfiction can go fuck itself. Heyy, that's not nice!
He groaned, and just as he did, a knock came from the door. He just groaned louder into the pillow so it was muffled.
"Gimme a moment!" He yelled, getting up and kicking the plastic bag to the side on his way to the door. He opened it up, peeking out at who would be knocking right now. Oh, it was Kacchan! "Hi, Kacchan. Is there a reason you came here?" Izuku asked. He wasn't trying to be mean or sound angry, but you know...
"I was wondering if you would like to join me and Icy Hot for a movie in my dorm," Katsuki said, glancing in Izuku's dorm.
"What movie is it going to be?" Izuku asked. He leaned against the door frame and pulled the door with him.
"It's gonna be IT. The half cooked hot pocket hasn't seen it before, so I plan on traumatizing him tonight. We can watch that All Might movie too, if you want," Katsuki said, no longer looking in Izuku's dorm.
"Hm, sure. Lemme change and I'll be right there," Izuku said, standing up straight. Katsuki nodded his head.
"Got it," he said, "See you in a bit. If you take too long I'm sending Icy Hot down." And with that, Katsuki promptly walked away, probably to his dorm, or Shotos.
Izuku hummed, then shut the door. He quickly got his pajamas on and went over to his dear friend's dorm. He knocked and the door swung open. "Hey, Izuku," Shoto said, waving a little. Izuku waved back.
The three got comfy on Katsuki's bed before starting the movie. Izuku couldn't seem to keep himself awake through the film, ending up asleep by the middle of it. Shoto was freaking out, but now he didn't have anyone he could shake or hit while being freaked out and scared. He wasn't the horror movie type.
The movie went by, Izuku sleeping through it all. He woke up about by the time the All Might movie had started playing. He stayed awake for about ten minutes, peacefully listening to his two friends bickering and chatting before conking back out again for the night.
Ah, how calm it all was, he wished it would stay like this forever...

Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
It was yet another school day. And the trio was going to be late if they didn't wake up and start getting ready right now!!
Shoto groaned and stretched out, hitting something with his foot and elbow. Odd. Usually he doesn't hit anything when he stretches out. He opened his eyes to see what he hit, only to see a half-awake fuming Bakugo.
"Half'n'Half, if you don't take your damn foot off my face, you won't have a foot anymore," Katsuki said, glaring sleepily at Shoto. The teenager made a face, like he was challenaging the great Bakugo fucking Katsuki. Katsuki's hands started smoking.
Shoto rubbed his foot on Bakugo's face and gripped it with his toes.
"ICY HOT I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!!!" Katsuki screamed. Explosions popped in his hands. Welp, the dorms are surely going to be awake now.
Shoto giggled while franticly getting off the bed, taking his feet back before the hot head could explode them. He fumbled with the doorknob, getting it open just in time and sprinting out. Katsuki launched off the bed, chasing after the candy cane boy.
They ran down the stairs, Shoto laughing and Katsuki screaming, though they both had happy grins. They were truly acting like teenage friends.
Todoroki ran into the common room, jumping over the couch and taking cover. Katsuki hurried in there after him, looking around for him. "Shotooo... Half'n'Half bastard..." the blonde gritted out through his teeth. "I'm gonna get you and rip you to shreds!!" he yelled, jumping over the couch and trying to grab onto his new murder victim.
Shoto made an ice shield and ran off. Katsuki chased after this. They were going to the kitchen, but not on Midoriya's watch apparently. Blackwhip engulfed the two, confining them into their separate tight prisons.
"Stop it. It's too early," Izuku said.
"He started it!!" Katsuki exclaimed.
"He tried blowing me up!! He threatened to kill me!" Shoto projected back.
"He put his dirty ass foot fungus on my face!!" Katsuki screamed in protest.
"Yeah, actually, I did do that. But I don't have foot fungus!!" Shoto said, agreeing that he did, in fact, put his foot on Katsuki.
"I don't care who started it or who did what!! Go get ready for school!!" Izuku yelled, throwing the two towards the stairs with blackwhip. Ugh, teens.
Izuku shuffled past them, going up to his dorm. "If you're gonna fight, do it outside!!" he threw back behind him. He heard the two boys speaking, but he didn't bother to listen in.
He went to his dorm and quickly got ready for school, putting on his uniform and brushing his teeth. When he was done in there, he grabbed his backpack and skipped downstairs. He waited on the couch for his two other friends.
A few minutes went by, and the two came down. Midoriya stood up and walked to them, truly making it a trio now.
"Are you two over your conflict now?" he asked the two. Shoto nodded his head, but Katsuki shook his.
"I'm gonna beat his ass during training if I can," Katsuki said, his face knitted into a frown.
"I hope you don't beat that specific area. It would be a really bad fighting tactic and uncomfortable for the both of us, Bakugo," Shoto said bluntly. It ticked Katsuki off.
"I'll beat you up right now!" he exclaimed. That got him blackwhip jail. "Mph!" And his mouth covered too.
"Let's not fight today! How about that? Hm?" Midoriya said, trying to bring peace. Shoto hummed, thinking about it. Katsuki growled and screeched something, but it was incoherent. Izuku took that as an agreement on both sides!
"Greet! Splendid to come to an agreement of no fighting today!" he happily said, releasing Bakugo of jail. The blonde dropped to the ground, landing on his feet. Huh, he has the resemblance of a cat.
The three continued their way to school, chatting about whatever topics were brought up- for example, how Todoroki liked the movie IT. He went on a long ramble about how much more scary it was than his father abusing him and his mother pouring boiling water on his face. That caused multiple laughs from Katsuki.
They soon got to their class.
"Ugh, never make me watch horror movies again please. I'll seriously cry," Shoto shuddered at even the thought of it. Katsuki cackled out a laugh, heading to his seat with Izuku following behind him.
The rest of the class got there, socializing and overall being loud. Aizawa got there and stood at the front, watching them all. He rubbed his temples, a headache coming on.
"Settle down and get into your seats," Aizawa spoke, looking as tired as ever, and like he didn't want to be there. Eh, don't they all.
The students of 1A that weren't already sitting rushed to get to their desks. Aizawa sighed. When will this class ever learn?
"Work on any school work you have from other classes," Aizawa said. Huh, it was surprisingly easy today!
Katsuki grumbled something under his breath, probably about not being able to spar with Todoroki during training today. Oh well, he'll be fine.
The school day ran and went on, letting the students leave when the final bell rang, signalling that the school day had ended and it was 3:30. "Remember to do your homework and not do dumb decisions," their homeroom teacher said, shooing the students out. 1A happily left the school building and headed towards their dormitory.
Ah, only a few more days until Friday! How excited all the kids would be when it came! Well, except for Midoriya, but he's just a party pooper, isn't he.
Speaking of Midoriya, he's been in the common room doing schoolwork with some of his friends and classmates. He was mostly helping them, but he was also doing it because he didn't do it during class.
"Midoriya, what's the answer to number 9? For math?" Kaminari asked. Midoriya glanced over at his paper; all the questions were answered, guess he just needed to check them.
"It's 7x," Midoriya answered casually. He saw the little smile Denki got when he knew he got the answer right.
"Thanks, bro."
"No problem, dude."
After a few more minutes of staying down there, Midoriya announced he was going up to his room and left.
When he got to his room, he placed the finished work into his backpack. Izuku went to his desk and opened an originally locked drawer. He took the object out. It was black and metal, heavy and intimidating too.
It was a gun. Midoriya had a gun.
He reached back in and took out a smaller thing- it was a bullet. He only had one. It was really hard to get it, being 15 and all. Luckily, Mei didn't think twice when he asked for a bullet and just gave him one.
Izuku loaded it in, cocking it and placing it to his head. The cold, hard material was pressed to the side of his head. Izuku inhaled some fresh air from outside, feeling the air brush past him and come in through the open balcony door.
He pulled the trigger.
IZUKU'S POV:
Huh? What happened? Is this death? I opened my eyes, looking around. I tried pulling the trigger again, but this time it wouldn't go. I brought it down, inspecting the gun.
Ugh! Dammit! It was jammed!! I hit the gun a few times, hoping it would unjam so I could continue with my plan. I only got one bullet after all.
I pull the trigger again and-
BAM!
Aizawa's POV: (bet you didn't expect that)
I heard a gunshot go off. I look back at where I heard it come from.
It came from Midoriya's dorm.
I was just checking in on my class, and looking at the floors. I wasn't going to go dorm to dorm today- dorm checks aren't until August.
"You heard that too, right? The gunshot?" someone said. My head snapped over to the sound, I almost got whiplash. It was just one of my students, Tokoyami. He was peeking out of his dorm, probably wondering about the sound.
"Yeah. I did. Do you know if any of your classmates has a gun?" I asked, but I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to that question.
"No, not to my knowledge. It freaked Dark Shadow out, though," Tokoyami said, looking at me.
"Okay, well if there's any suspicious or concerning activity involving one of your classmates, don't be scared to tell me about it," I said. I hope he'd just go back into his dorm so I could talk to Midoriya- or at least try to listen for anything from outside the door.
Tokoyami hummed and glanced at Midoriya's dorm. He took one more look at me before going back in his dorm and closing the door.
Phew, good. I turned towards Problem Child's dorm and went to the door, taking a breath before knocking. I heard a quiet "Gimme a minute" from the other side and waited for the door to open.
It eventually opened after not too long of waiting.
"Yes? Did you need something, Aizawa-sensei?"
NO ONE'S POV:
Aizawa stared at his student, forgetting whatever words he was going to say. Actually, he didn't even know if he was going hear or say words. Izuku- his student, Izuku, stared up at him, waiting for him to say something.
It took a moment to find words, but Aizawa found some. "Midoriya, are you okay? I heard a... loud noise," Aizawa asked, not wanting to say the word. Because why on earth would Midoriya of all people have a gun?
"Yeah, I'm fine! I just accidentally fell off my chair and brought it down with me, heh," Midoriya said, lying straight through his teeth. Aizawa could tell that it wasn't the answer, but he felt as if he shouldn't push it out of Midoriya.
"Really? Okay then. Nothing broke, right?" Aizawa asked, trying to get a view of the room from the door.
Midoriya shook his head. "No, sir. Nothing broke. Or at least I don't think anything broke. I haven't checked my chair yet. You knocked and I couldn't get a good look at it. Didn't want to keep someone waiting, you know." Midoriya talked as if this all was casual.
Aizawa hummed. "How about you check? Just to make sure nothing is truly broken, you know," he suggested. A suggestion from Aizawa is always a "do it, you don't get a choice".
Izuku nodded his head. "Okay.." he said, leaving the door and walking over to the standing up chair. Izuku quickly looked it over. While he was looking at the chair, Aizawa opened the door more and looked at the room.
It didn't seem to have any dangerous weapons... The balcony door was open. The speaker was on. The laptop was also on and showing... A car chase? What was that? Aizawa couldn't tell.
The teacher didn't even know about the bathroom situation right now, he couldn't see it. Maybe he'll ask if he can do a dorm search, just to make sure there's nothing in here that could bring harm to his student and/or students, or an actual gun.
"Nope! Not broken! I still have a chair!" Izuku exclaimed, standing up straight and looking at Aizawa. The teacher nodded his head, thinking.
"Midoriya, would it be okay if I did a room search?" Aizawa asked, looking into Midoriya's eyes. The teenager knew that he wouldn't find anything, though there was still a chance. But it'd be more suspicious if he declined and said no to the room search, because then what would he have hidden?
Izuku swallowed. "Yeah, it'd be okay. Make sure to close the door on your way in," he said, going and sitting on his bed.
Aizawa walked in, closing the door. "I know it's always boring and stuff, but I just want to make sure what I heard was actually you falling and not what I thought it was," the teacher explained. Izuku hummed.
"I know, I know. It's fine. Just do it already," Izuku said, motioning towards somewhere, probably signaling for Aizawa to begin already.
Aizawa looked at his desk and in all the drawers. On the shelves and in the dresser. Under everything. He checked the entire bed- luckily Midoriya had already started to take off all the sheets and stuff while Aizawa was watching. He even looked in the trash.
Now it was time for the bathroom...
Aizawa opened the door to the bathroom while Midoriya was putting his bedding back on. The adult looked in all the cabinets and drawers, in the shower, behind the toilet, wastebasket too. For some reason, there was an empty window cleaner bottle. He could've sworn that it was full the other day... But other than that, he didn't find anything.
The first-aid kit was right there, on the counter. Midoriya was busy fussing over the sheets, so Aizawa took this as an opportunity to look inside there.
There were mostly bandages and gauze. Oh, there's Midoriya's EpiPen. Aizawa took everything out as he looked it over, until he got to the bottom...
There was a box cutter under some bandages. Aizawa stared at it with wide eyes before carefully picking it up, looking it all over. He opened it. Oh my god... Is that... Is that blood?!
AIZAWA'S POV... again:
Why does Problem Child have a box cutter in his first aid kit? And why does it have dried blood on it?
I quickly grabbed onto the mirror, pulling it open. The mirrors in every dorm are cabinets. If my thought is correct, then...
Pill bottles were scattered throughout the cabinet. I disregarded the contacts and glasses wipes, and anything other than the pill bottles. I started grabbing them and taking them out of the cabinet, looking at the name of them and shaking them to see how full they were.
... they all were empty. Even the prescriptions. Midoriya only got those filled last week. They're supposed to last an entire month. I left the bottles and blade on the counter, grabbing the trashcan.
I felt like I was going to puke. How has Midoriya actually been doing? What has Midoriya actually been doing?
I grabbed the empty spray bottle, taking it out. There was a rope under it... I grabbed the rope- there were two parts. I took one look at it and immediately recognized it.
It was a noose. It was a cut noose. Midoriya had a cut noose in his bathroom trash. I was holding said noose.
I slowly stood up, feeling dizzy. How long has this been going on without anyone knowing?
I walked into the other room. Midoriya was admiring his work- his bed was fully made. How did he feel right now?
"Midoriya." I said, trying to have my voice be not shaky, but failing a bit. I could hear my scared voice.
"Yes, Aizawa-sensei?" Midoriya replied, looking at me. His look faltered when he saw mine. But I guess this is how it's going to be.
"Show me your wrists."
NO ONE'S POV: (i promise, this is the last pov change for this chapter!)
"Show me your wrists."
Izuku's face fell. He was scared shitless. What had Aizawa found that prompted that question? Was it the rope? The empty cleaner bottle? The pill bottles? The blade? Did he find the gun?
"O-okay.." Izuku said, pulling his sleeves up. There was nothing there. No bandages or wounds. There were scars, but that's not what Aizawa was looking for.
"Your legs? Stomach?" Aizawa said. He was worried about Izuku... Izuku hated that.
The teenager showed his stomach- uninjured and bare besides the freckles on it. He also showed his legs, which were scarred due to his quirk, though no injuries were present.
"Why's the box cutter bloody?" Aizawa asked, his voice breaking as he held back tears. He noticed the horror written on Midoriya's face. He knows that he knows what he's talking about- he's known this entire time.
"Wha- um, wh-what box cutter?" Izuku lied, nervous. He wasn't looking at Aizawa, and that was a clear sign that he knew what Aizawa found. The blade, the suicide attempts, everything.
"The box cutter I found in your first aid. It was at the bottom and- and it had.. it had blood on it. You wanna talk about it? When was the last time you did it?" Aizawa spoke. He spoke with tears in his eyes and a sob stuck in his throat. It broke Midoriya.
"I... I don't wanna talk about it," Izuku said, choking back tears. He admitted to it all. He admitted that it was the truth. That's all Aizawa needed to know.
"Okay, buddy... You don't gotta talk about it. I just wanna know the last time you hurt yourself was," Aizawa said. His hands were shaking. The teacher manual did not say anything about this. It was scary. The thought of losing his student- no... his kid. The thought of losing his kid was terrifying.
Midoriya bit his lip to try to suppress the tears building up in his eyes. "...Sunday..." he muttered out, taking a shaky breath. He looked away in shame. No one wants to tell their teacher out of all people this.
Aizawa exhaled. So that's why there weren't any injuries, he went to Recovery Girl yesterday and got healed so they must've disappeared along with his actual injury from class. Okay, it's okay, today's only Tuesday.
"Okay, it's okay. It's okay, kiddo. You've been clean for two days, I'm so proud of you... And I'm so sorry to ask this, but... When was the last time you tried to kill yourself?" Aizawa said, keeping his eyes on Midoriya. This was an important conversation, and Aizawa couldn't be prouder of his damn Problem Child for telling him about all this.
Midoriya was hesitant to answer. His mouth opened like he was going to answer, but then closed. He looked away. "...Today, just before you got here..." Izuku mustered in the loudest voice he had, which was actually his quietest.
Aizawa let out a sad breath. Izuku started crying, his mask breaking into pieces and falling onto the floor. It went between the cracks. Aizawa saw the Izuku behind the mask. Izuku broke down in front of Aizawa, and he doesn't know if he'll ever get built back up.
But for now, in the comfort of Izuku's dorm, Aizawa will comfort Izuku. He'll pull him into a hug and let him cry into his shirt. It's fine.
Aizawa rubbed Izuku's back, saying soothing words to Izuku. He sat them both down on the bed, keeping Izuku in the hug. He could feel the wetness of Izuku's tears through his shirt, but he'll be fine. As long as Izuku's okay.
After a while of Izuku crying and Aizawa comforting him, Izuku's tear ducts were squeezed dry. No more tears could come out. His eyes were red and puffy, put looked into the distance as if questioning what went wrong in his life to lead up to this point.
What lead to him crying with his teacher comforting him because he tried to kill himself and is actively suicidal? How did his life get this bad?
The silence was both comforting and deafening. They both knew that there was so much more they should probably talk about, but none of them made the effort to talk about it, or even try to talk about it.
Aizawa decided to break the silence. "Kiddo, where's the gun? Can you give it to me?" he asked, wanting to make sure Izuku couldn't shoot himself. Izuku slide out of the hug with him, looking down. He turned and his hand went under his pillow. When it came back, it had the gun with it.
He handed it to Aizawa, who promptly put it in his pocket. "There's no bullets, right? You don't have any more?" he asked, making sure he truly didn't have anything else. Izuku shook his head.
"Okay... I'm going to go, okay? If you need anything then call or text me, or get one of your classmates, okay?" Aizawa said. He wanted to make sure Izuku was in a good enough mindset before he left. Izuku hummed in agreement, still not making eye contact.
Aizawa went to the door, putting his hand on the doorknob. He paused, then turned around and spoke, "And Izuku, I won't report you or tell your mom. But if you ever need someone to talk to, then there's me or another one of your teachers, or even the school counselor. Your friends could work too. You have people that care deeply about you."
Izuku looked up to look him in the eyes. They looked dead.
Aizawa opened the door and stepped out. "And Izuku? I would suggest sleeping in a friend's dorm tonight. There's Bakugo or Todoroki, or someone else. If you need, my room is open for you. The couch is always set up for whoever needs it," he said before closing the door and walking away.
The teacher walked down the hallway. He heard a door open behind him. "W-wait, Aizawa-sensei?" Midoriya spoke, stopping Aizawa. He turned around to face his student/child.
"Yes, Midoriya?" Aizawa said, prompting the teenager to say whatever it was they were going to say.
Izuku looked down at his feet, like he was scared to be rejected of whatever his sentence was going to be about. "Will... um.. Will you come with me to refill my prescriptions tomorrow?" Midoriya asked, looking up at Aizawa with pleading eyes. Like if he said yes, he would have a reason to not try to kill himself tomorrow.
Aizawa smiled a warm smile. "Of course I can, Izuku," he replied. Izuku smiled, the scared expression on his face melting off.
"Thanks, dad," Izuku mumbled, turning and going back into his dorm, shutting the door. Aizawa stared at the closed door in shock, but it soon turned to happiness. A smile spread itself across the teacher's face.
One of his students (without a present/good father) saw him as their dad. He felt honored.
Aizawa went back to his dorm in the teachers' facility. He checked his phone for any notifications, since he did feel some buzzing while he was over there. Oh. X (old twitter) had some notifications. Apparently one of his students posted something. He made sure to check them out.
That one must've been after... uhm, before Aizawa came to his dorm. It was about Midoriya trying and failing to shoot himself. He went to the next one.
Midoriya was on his phone during the room search, so he must've posted it in that time. Yep. That was about the time he came by. Midoriya had posted that he hated room searches. Who doesn't hate room searches though?
Aizawa clicked on the last post from Midoriya.
Oh. Midoriya loves his dad. Midoriya called Aizawa dad today. Ohh, oh Aizawa's gonna cry. This grown man is going to cry in the middle of his room. And it was posted a bit after Aizawa left Problem Child's room.
Aizawa's usually not one for sappiness, however, he damn loves his children and will do anything for them.
Actually, he not really sure how he comforted Midoriya. He has zero experience and if shit at calming people down. He just freestyled and tried what he saw people do on TV. Aizawa doesn't know how the fuck people do that, he's surprised it worked though.
The teacher put his phone down, smiling. He was proud of Midoriya for telling him what he was doing. It takes a lot of guts to open up to people- especially your teacher. Aizawa felt so damn proud of Midoriya. He even gave him the gun.
Wait. The gun! What was he gonna do with the gun now? He took, and now he just has it. What will he do with it? Sell it I guess?
Wait. How did Midoriya even get the gun? He's fifteen. The legal age is eighteen with a license for guns. Did he get it illegally?
Oh well, whatever. It's a problem for another day. For now, it'll just have to sit in the desk in his room. Maybe he'll ask Izuku about it tomorrow.
Aizawa hopes he's spending the night at a friend's dorm. He doesn't think he should be alone right now, but Aizawa's a teacher with teacher duties. He'll make sure to check in on Izuku and the class tomorrow... Maybe he'll make a doc with questions for them all to answer individually. It'll be like a mental health check-in...
God, this class is making him sappy and soft.

Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
Izuku woke up bright and early for the school day. The memories of last night and what happened with Aizawa flooding in. Izuku smiled at the memories. Aizawa's a truly great teacher.
Izuku got up off his bed, stretching. He grabbed his uniform and walked into the bathroom. He flipped on the light and the first thing he saw was his messy counter. It was NOT like this before Aizawa did the dorm search. UGH HE DIDN'T EVEN CLEAN UP.
Izuku sighed and put away all the pill bottles and first aid kit. He cleaned his bathroom counter off, then set his uniform on it. He got changed into it, then he brushed his teeth and such.
Izuku texted his doctor to check to see if his prescriptions were ready to get picked up, since he "accidentally hit his hand against the counter and dropped the open pill bottle into the toilet" a few days ago, and then "his friends thought he was a drug addict when he took his pills in the morning and so then they continued to dump them all down the toilet, they wouldn't let him speak when he tried telling them they were prescriptions, then when they finished all the bottles they let him talk and then apologized a lot".
While he waited for their response, he went down and ate some breakfast. He had cereal. It was tasty. He enjoyed it dearly.
While he waited for both a text back and for his friends to get ready and come down, he calmly sucked in his surroundings for the last time. This might just be his last time seeing the dorms- that is, if he doesn't survive.
Whenever his plans are told, they don't work, so he's decided not to tell or think about it. Simple! Then maybe they'll work this time! Wait, does this count too?-
Izuku put his dirty dishes in the sink after rinsing them out. He walked to the couch and sat on it, waiting for his friends to hurry up and get here already. Izuku scrolled social media, noting that some of his classmates didn't have accounts, like Tokoyami. Or maybe they just had private accounts.
He had finished all his schoolwork the day before. Honestly, he wanted to skip school today, but he knew he probably couldn't or else Aizawa might come break down his door to make sure he hadn't tried to kill himself again today. That wouldn't be good.
Time passed and it was now 7:20. The school gates opened early for students, so did classrooms. A few of his classmates were down in the common room, but not enough to notice his disappearance.
Izuku decided he would go to school early today.
So he grabbed his backpack and put on his shoes. And he left the dorms.
The warm morning air hit him on his way to school. It was July, after all. It was summer. It had a cool breeze this morning though, so Midoriya was thankful for that.
He got to his classroom, which was deserted of people. He sat down at his desk and took out his notebook. He decided to write about his latest attempts and what has happened so far. He liked writing, no one would really see it, and it could be about whatever he wanted.
As time went on (aka ten minutes) their homeroom teacher walked into the classroom. He got spooked by Izuku already being there. Usually his students come in closer to when the bell rings. He didn't know why Midoriya would come in early, and without the usual two he came in with.
"Good morning, Midoriya," Aizawa greeted, setting his papers down on the little podium in the front. Midoriya's head snapped up to see who was there, but relaxed when it was someone he knew.
"Good morning, Aizawa-sensei," Midoriya welcomed. He soon went back down to his notebook, doodling in it and writing. His phone buzzed on his desk and he glanced at it. Oh, it was a reply from his doctor!! He made sure to check it.
Hm, let's see... blah blah blahh, be more responsible when handling pills... don't drop them in the toilet again... you need to get better friends that don't dump your drugs in the toilet... don't become a drug addict... blah blah blaaaahhhhh- oh! Yep! His prescriptions are ready to be picked up today after school! Okay!
Izuku waited in his seat for a while. The class came in chunks. Katsuki and Shoto were the first ones in, and they both made a beeline for Izuku's seat.
"Where were you this morning??"
"Did you leave early or some shit??"
"You didn't walk with us-"
"Are you feeling okay??"
Todoroki and Bakugo fused over Izuku as they asked one too many questions about why he left early without them.
"Guys."
"If you're not happy with our friend preformance then you can just tell us, Midoriya-"
"Icy Hot if that's the case then we're gonna friend the fuck out of Deku-"
"Guys-"
"We're gonna become the bestiest of friends-iest."
"Those aren't even words, but sure buddy-"
"GUYS."
Shoto and Katsuki shut their mouths, staring at Izuku with wide, curious eyes. It reminded Izuku of two little boys seeing something for the first time.
"I'm fine. I just wanted some quiet time before class and you two took too long," Izuku said. Well, he wasn't lying this time. The two boys gave Izuku a look, but otherwise dropped it.
"Fine then. Later today you wanna come over to my dorm and watch Scream with me and Sho-"
"YOU WOULDN'T DARE!!"
"I WOULD, TRY ME!"
Izuku rolled his eyes, but it was playful. He laughed at his two friends' bickering.
"Izuku help me he's gonna kill me with these movies..."
"No I'm not. Just gonna deeply traumatize him. There's a difference."
"WHAT DIFFERENCE?"
"THE DIFFERENCE THAT ME AND YOUR MOM DID LAST NIGHT-"
"MY MOM'S IN A HOSPITAL-"
"Class, shut up and go to your seats," Aizawa said, specifically looking at the three. Katsuki glared at Todoroki once more, and he glared right back before walking to his seat.
Once the class was settled, Aizawa grabbed the stack of papers he brought into the class. He passed them out.
"This is just an assessment. You don't have to put your name if you don't want to. Just please answer all the questions honestly. This isn't for a grade or anything, it won't be put on your file either. That means I won't report anything, and no one else will see what you put down on your paper. Please take your time doing this, and answer honestly, that's all you need to do. When you're done, just stay in your seat and I'll collect all the papers at the end of class," Aizawa said. He didn't say that it was a mental health assessment.
That's what he inferred though. The class flipped their paper over, scanning the questions. They were nerves people they thought it was a test, but now they're not quite as nervous. Some students were still nervous and scared, but it's fine. He said they don't need to put their names on the paper.
"You may begin whenever you're ready. Please take your time and don't rush through it. I'll collect them at the end of class," Aizawa reminded them. He slipped onto his chair, taking out the papers he meant to grade last night but didn't get to doing it. It didn't matter that they weren't done though, he could do them now.
As the students wrote their answers down on the paper, the clock ticked by. Most, if not all, the students were being honest with their answers. A few students put their names on the paper, and some accidentally did and erased it.
The class went by surprisingly easy and calmly, besides for the panicking students. When it was five minutes until their next class, Aizawa decided to collect the papers.
"Five minutes until the bell. I'm going to come by and collect the papers, so put down your final answers. You may socialize now," Aizawa announced, walking to each aisle and collecting the papers. He brought them to his desk and collected his things.
The class chatted for the last few minutes, and when the bell rang, it was time to move on to their next class.
The school day went on like normal, teachers teaching and students learning. Finally the bell for lunch rang, dismissing all the students to go eat lunch and socialize, to have a break from their studies.
Izuku got his lunch, and while no one was looking, slipped away from everyone. He went away from all the crowds and his friends. He went to the rooftop.
He went to the ledge and sat down with his food. He looked over it, thinking about how pretty the sight was. Everything looked so tiny, so peaceful...
Izuku took a bite of his katsudon that he brought from the cafeteria. It was yummy, but Lunch Rush's food is always good. They could never beat his mother's food, but yet again, no one could. Not even Kacchan's cooking.
Sigh, he'd miss his mom. He wished he could taste her cooking one last time. It's not ideal, but he'll make it work.
With the warm taste of katsudon in his mouth, he stood up and went next to the edge, leaning on the railing. Izuku looked down at all the tiny people. He wondered how they would all react. Would they run? Scream? Cry? Go get help? Or would they all just ignore him and continue on with their day? Such a silly thought.
Izuku's socked foot slid out of his red shoe. His other foot started coming out too.
Izuku always loved katsudon. It was his favorite meal. He really liked his mother's katsudon. It always managed to taste like home, even when he wasn't there.
He wished he could've had his mom's katsudon one more time.
IZUKU'S POV:
I was about to go on the other side of the railing and jump, but I heard the door. I quickly slipped my shoes on.
"Hey, Midoriya! Mind if we eat with you?" a voice rang out. I turned around, looking to see who it was.
Oh, it was just Tokoyami and Shoji. Phew. If it was someone like Kacchan then I'd be worried.
"Yeah, sure! You can eat with me!" I said. I was trying to sound cheerful, I truly was. But I was just so tired. I just want to go to sleep.
I quickly got my foot in the right place and took the two steps to my spot, sitting down. My two classmates sat down across from me. We kinda made a triangle.
Shoji started the conversation, "From where we were, it kinda looked like you were gonna jump off the roof. You wouldn't do that though, right?" WHAT THE FREAK HOW DOES HE KNOW???
I chuckled, acting as if it was a joke. "Heh, nah. I was just looking at the scenery. I don't usually come up to the roof, so I wanted to see how everything looked from being so high up," I said. That was a big fat lie, but they didn't need to know that.
Tokoyami hummed and took a bite of his food. "Oh yeah, Midoriya. I've been meaning to talk to you about something that happened last night. I thought I heard a gunshot come from somewhere on our floor, did you hear it too?" he asked. I'm killing myself.
"Yeah," I said, my brain thinking of a lie. I'll use the same one I used on Aizawa (he didn't believe it, but still.) "I was watching a movie and my laptop connected to my speaker. It was quiet 'cause the volume was off, so I turned up the volume, but my key stuck and so it turned it up all the way. Then someone shot another person and it freaked me out, so I accidentally fell off my chair. Sorry 'bout that." Yes, I added on to the lie. However, it seemed believable enough.
Tokoyami nodded his head. "Ah, okay. Makes sense." He said. I hummed and ate my lunch.
For the rest of lunch, the three of us talked about random things. Me and Tokoyami became friends, and I helped him make a social media account (he's basically an old person in a young body, he doesn't know jack about technology). Me and Shoji also got each other's accounts.
(and I obvi posted that i made a new friend so the rest of the class could see too)
So yeah, we all walked back to the classroom together. The rest of the school day was pretty boring.
NO ONE'S POV:
When the final bell rang for the student body to leave, the class of 1A started to leave.
"Midoriya, can you stay back for a second. I need to talk to you," Aizawa said, looking at the teenager. Izuku swallowed the saliva in his mouth and nodded his head. Some students glanced at the teen, but otherwise said nothing while they walked out of the classroom to the dorms.
When all the students were gone, Aizawa spoke again. "Midoriya. You're aware of the gun laws in Japan, correct?" Midoriya nodded his head. Aizawa continued, "Good. So I was wondering how you managed to get the gun, since the legal age is 18. It would be illegal in your case. But maybe if I know how you got the gun, I'd know how to get rid of it too."
Izuku looked away from him. "Honest answer? I found it on the ground in an alleyway. It didn't have any bullets or anything, it was to the side by a wall. So I took it. But you can probably sell it. Actually, thinking about it now, maybe that's why it got jammed." Izuku said, laughing a little bit at his conclusion for why it got jammed and his attempt failed.
Aizawa did not expect that answer. Um, alright. So random street gun, nice.
"I'll sell it," Aizawa said. He'll probably donate the money. Izuku nodded his head.
"Soo am I free to go now?" Izuku asked, wanting to go and change into something comfier. Aizawa sighed and rubbed his temples.
"Yeah, you're free to go. When do we need to pick up your meds?" Aizawa asked, looking at the teenager who was getting his stuff.
"Anytime. We can do it in a bit. I wanna change into better clothes though," Izuku said, slinging his backpack onto his shoulder.
"Okay. I'll walk you to the dorms and you can change, then we'll go and get them refilled," Aizawa spoke looking for any sign of confirmation. Izuku nodded, giving a thumbs up.
So the two went to the dorms, and Izuku changed into sweats and a short sleeve. Then they both went to the pharmacist to pick up Izuku's medication. After that, Aizawa got Izuku ice cream and the two went back to the dorms.
When Izuku got back, he was dragged into a movie night with his class, spending the rest of the day with them before conking out in the middle of a movie and being carried to his dorm once again.
What good friends Izuku has.
If only he found them sooner.

CHAPTER 6 - Five Days HAS ENDED
COME BACK FOR CHAPTER 7 - Four Days ?
Notes:
sorry chat, was tired at the end and got lazy
Chapter 7: Four Days
Notes:
TW: real quick, thought I should say this, but there will be descriptions of self harm (the action, not just mentions). if you are not able to handle that, then I'm sorry, I would suggest skipping the rest of the chapter when Midoriya gets into his dorm, but it is your choice.
There will also be suicide baiting, someone telling someone to go ky$. If you're not able to read that at the moment, then please do skip that scene too.
I will put trigger warnings for those two scenes. Although I haven't put any trigger warnings in the actual chapters, I feel like I should put trigger warnings for those two topics.
They're strong things that some people may not enjoy, and it's only in this one chapter (the baiting, at least), so I plan on putting a trigger warning at both the beginning and end of the scene.
If you are not in the right mindset right now, please go take a break from reading this fanfiction. I care more about your wellbeing than how many reads this gets.
This is also a breaking spot. If you have been reading this since the first chapter, go take a break. Take a few minutes, or however long you need, and go get some water, something to drink, maybe some food if you feel up to it, go to the bathroom, whatever you need to do before coming back to this chapter, because this is going to be the part in the story where shit hits the fan.
I've been taking breaks during the entire writing process. So please do the same for your reading process.
Thank you for reading the warning for this chapter, and if you need to take a break at all while reading this, or just set the electronic down, please do. If you need to talk to someone or get help, please do. I'm open if you need to talk to someone.Happy reading!!
Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
Izuku woke up in his dorm. He assumed a classmate brought him there, but this time didn't worry. There was nothing they could find unless they were looking through his things, which they hopefully wouldn't.
Izuku got off his bed, stretching his arms above his head. He could hear the light rapts of rain hitting his balcony door. It was calming. Izuku loved the rain.
As he got ready for school, he listened to the rain. He made sure to take a shower that morning too. His hair was going to get ruined in the rain anyways, a shower before couldn't make it any worse, could it?
He got in my uniform, looking at himself in the mirror. He flashed himself a smile. Today felt like a good day.
IZUKU'S POV:
I think today might be a good day! Maybe after school I can see if I can go see Hound Dog, maybe if it's a good day today and I feel confident enough to go.
I made a few friend yesterday, and the day before that I told Aizawa (almost) everything. I got my meds refilled because I took them all when I overdosed a few days ago. Speaking of which, I should probably take those now before I forget.
They help me to calm down, and they help to regulate my mood. So they basically make me a happy stress-free person! And then I also have sleeping pills I take at night, but lately I haven't been needing them due to everything happening lately taking so much energy out of me. I've been sleeping calmly- yes, my night terrors still haunt me, but that's because I haven't been taking my special meds.
I think everyone knows though. I wake up screaming some nights, then pass back out. I don't really remember when it happens, but my classmates seem to. They usually don't tell me for some reason, maybe so I don't feel bad for waking them in the early hours. Actually, maybe that's why they don't wake me when I fall asleep in the common room or in someone else's dorm.
But yeah, besides from my rambling, I think I might have enough confidence to talk to someone about what's been going on... maybe.
Maybe it'll get better, and the voices and thoughts will go away. I won't have to hurt myself anymore. I can be a regular teenager. Not a child soldier trying to end some really old dudes' conflict.
Yeah, it's fun to believe.
NO ONE'S POV:
Midoriya finished getting ready and skipped down the stairs. He was going to have a good day today! He was convinced!
His friend was already down and dressed. Shoto was waiting patiently on the couch, ignoring the screeching from the kitchen.
"Good morning, Sho!" Izuku chirped, heading over next to him. Shoto looked up from his lap and smiled.
"Morning, Izu. Are you ready for school?" the monotone boy asked. Izuku nodded his head, actually surprisingly excited for school today. He had all the work done for his classes, so today should be relatively easy.
Izuku leaned his body towards Shoto, resting his head on the boy's shoulder. Shoto heated up, and also touched Izuku's bare neck with his icy cold right hand. Izuku yelped and jumped away from surprise.
"That's cheating. I'm putting an ice cube down your shirt for that," he said, glaring daggers at Todoroki- and by "glaring daggers" it's actually squinting with his face scrunched up in displeasure. Shoto laughed at his attempt, which made Izuku smile.
Before Shoto could reply back, Katsuki popped his head out of the doorway and shouted, "Oi, first batch of pancakes are done. Oh, good morning Izuku. Come get breakfast before that big back eats the entire kitchen."
Izuku smiled and got up, going to get breakfast. Todoroki was right behind him, yelling back, "It was the one time! ...wait, no. It was the three times!" Izuku burst out laughing.
The students came down gradually, all grabbing a bite of the pancakes and fruit. They all thanks the cooks and went back to getting ready for the new school day.
The time came for everyone to start heading to class. The trio left together as they normally do. Izuku seemed to have a bit more pep in his step, and his eyes seemed to have regained their shine. Katsuki was happy to see that.
The small group of friends chatted about all sorts of things. Shoto brought up the conversation of Izuku's upcoming birthday.
"You're birthday's in four days, Izuku. Do you have any plans for it?" The candy cane noted. Katsuki quieted down to hear Izuku's answer.
Izuku rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. Of course he didn't have any plans for it, he hadn't actually planned to be alive to reach the age of 16. "Heh, I don't really have any plans. I might just spend the day with my mom after school," Izuku answered, assuming his mom would like to hang out with her aging son.
Katsuki hummed. "I'll most likely be there too. Not because of my own mom, but because I want to give you the best fucking birthday anyone could have," Katsuki said, smirking. It soon turned into a sheepish grin. "Also because I already bought your birthday gift and I want to see your reaction to it."
Izuku and Shoto laughed at that. The hot-head did not think that was funny, and exploded- literally.
"OI, THE FUCK YOU LAUGHING AT?!"
The school day seemed to go fast after homeroom. Pretty soon, it was lunch.
Izuku watched the rain through the window most of the time. He loved the rain, it was so pretty. It always got him in a good mood. And so far, today's been a good day! Izuku's really happy about that.
Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugo all walked together to lunch, though Bakugo left to eat lunch with the Bakusquad since, he claims, they were "bugging him to eat lunch with them for forever" and it was "really fucking annoying" so he decided to do it today.
Midoriya and Todoroki were going to grab their lunch together and join their other friends. Shoto got cold soba and Izuku got curry. While they were walking to the table, Izuku tripped over something.
He fell and spilled everything from his tray. Hit his jaw hard on the floor too. Izuku turned bright red and quickly sat up, feeling everyone's eyes on him as he scrammbled to pick up whatever he could.
"Wow, Midoriya. Didn't know top of the class could be so useless," a voice rang out from his right. He looked at who said it. It was Monoma.
Useless; adjective
Not or not expected to achieve the intended purpose or desired outcome. Or having no ability or skill in a specified activity or area. Basically having no use.
Similar words are: pointless, purposeless, to no purpose, hopeless, unusable, impotent, broken, incompetent, worthless, incapable. Also quirkless, according to certain people.
Midoriya hated that word.

"It was just an accident. I tripped and fell, could've happened to anyone. I'll clean it up. Todoroki, can you get me some paper towels please?" Izuku said, picking up the utensils and setting them on his tray.
"An accident? Just like you?" Monoma said, obviously ridiculing and possibly bullying Midoriya. No one paid any mind to it, as the noise of chatting students overtook the sound of their mini conversation.
"Gotta make everyone else do the things you're unable to? Quirkless people really are useless, worthless people who deserve to go kill themselves," Monoma said, bending down to Midoriya's level and yanking a fistful of his curly green locks. Izuku winced, feeling the pain sting his scalp.
"What? Does it hurt? God, quirkless people are so sensitive," Monoma said. Midoriya felt tears prick his eyes. His tear ducts always hated him.
"I have a quirk," Midoriya muttered out. Er, he does now. Monoma laughed.
"As if a quirkless nobody like you has one. I see those shoes you're always wearing. It's the only kind that quirkless people fit because they have two joints. Yes, you have this flashy thing going on with you, but you're still just a quirkless," Monoma spat out the words.
Midoriya hated when people used when he used to be quirkless against him. But what he hated most is how Monoma somehow found out he was.
"What's it to you if I am or not? Huh? It's not like I'm in your class or anything, I don't even talk to you," Midoriya shot back, though he wanted to cry right now. Monoma gritted his teeth as he brought Midoriya's ear close.
"How about you do us all a favor kill yourself." He said loud enough for Midoriya to hear. His eyes widened. Monoma shoved him away and got up just as Shoto came back with a roll of paper towels.
Midoriya said a small thanks as he took it and quickly cleaned the mess of his spilled curry. He put the dirtied towels on his tray, then stood up. Monoma had a shit-eating grin on his face as he grabbed the milk carton Midoriya had on his tray and opened it all the way.
He poured it straight on Midoriya's head. The milky white liquid ran down his skin and soaked into his uniform. The small box got dropped on his head.
"Why don't you follow that advice in middle school you got! Why don't you-" Monoma was cut off by a tackle from Bakugo. Katsuki punched Monoma in the face repeatedly. He was yelling during it all, but as students screamed and ran to see the fight, it all didn't matter anymore.
OKAY, WARNING IS OVER, YOU CAN KEEP READING NOW.
HAPPY READING!
Quirkless; adjective
A person or being without a quirk. Someone without a super power.
Similar words are: without a quirk, unquirked. Also pointless, purposeless, to no purpose, hopeless, unusable, impotent, broken, incompetent, worthless, incapable, useless to certain people.
Midoriya hated that word.
He could hear Kacchan screaming words at Monoma, and the hits that were connecting. He heard the footsteps of those who were either running over or away. He heard the whispers and the yells and the chants of the students while they were watching. He could hear the teachers trying to get over on time.
He could hear everything.
He heard the breathing of every single student. The picking of someone's nails. A student eating and chewing their food. The swallow that came after too. He heard the humming of the kitchen. The squelching of someone's wet shoe. A student drinking something.
He could hear everything.
None of these things mattered to Izuku. What mattered to him was getting out and getting away.
He tried taking deep breaths to calm his breathing. Deep breath in... Deep breath out...
Izuku looked at the fight. He hated the scene. He looked at the ground and turned around, pushing people out of the way in an attempt to get out of the crowd and away from the cafeteria.
Izuku threw his tray away, deciding lunch wasn't for him. He went out of the cafeteria and speed walked down the hallway. He didn't know where he was going, just knew he was going away from all that.
Izuku managed to get to the furthest stairwell and sat under it. He checked the time, and there were about 30 minutes left of lunch. Izuku stayed there; he didn't do anything. He just sat there was felt the tears run down his cheeks as he thought of what Monoma had said.
When there were only three minutes left, he started making his way to his classroom. He didn't want to be at school. He wanted to go home, go to sleep. Izuku was tired. He knows not to fall asleep though.
He got to the classroom just as the cell rang, quickly shuffling to his seat and ignoring the glances his classmates gave him.
The teacher started the lecture, teaching and talking. Katsuki sat in the seat in front of Izuku, a single band-aid on his cheek. Izuku refused to look at him, he refused to look at anyone, actually.
Izuku went through school, and as soon as the bell rang, he was out that door while his classmates were cleaning up. Izuku rushed to the dormitory and to his dorm.
He put a little "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door handle and shut the door, locking it.
Izuku set all his things down, flopping onto his bed face first. He started sobbing, tears falling from his eyes one after the other and getting lost on his pillow.
His thoughts all rolled it, piling over each other and yelling.
"Monoma was right, we should kill ourselves."
"We just got better."
"We should kill Monoma."
"Maybe a little pain will make it go away."
"Physical pain will make the mental pain go away."
"If we die then so be it, this is what we always hoped for."
"CUT YOURSELF."
The demand from his mind didn't shock Midoriya. He eyed the bathroom door, which was currently closed. Maybe one won't hurt... It'll shut them up, at least.
SUP, ME AGAIN, WARNING BC THIS SCENE WILL HAVE:
-SELF HARM
-SELF HATE
IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH ANY OF THESE IN REAL LIFE, I WOULD SUGGEST TO GO TALK TO A TRUSTED ADULT AND/OR GET PROFESSIONAL HELP.
IF YOU PICK TO SKIP THIS SCENE, THEN GO ONTO THE NEXT CHAPTER (chapter 8, three days)
THANK YOU, HAPPY READING.
Izuku sat up, tears still freely flowing. His body moved to the door, opening it and flicking on the light. The first aid kit got into his hands, being unzipped. The contents were dumped out onto the counter. The boxcutter was right there, on that glorious stack of medical supplies.
Midoriya grabbed the blade, and next thing he knew...
Cut,
Cut,
Cut.
It was like an addiction. He never stopped coming back to it for relief. It was like a drug. His drug.
Cut,
Cut,
Cut.
Yes, it was unhealthy to do this. Yes, he needed to get help, maybe stop cutting himself. However, it was hard. It's hard to get help and it's hard to stop.
Cut,
Cut,
Cut.
He's been doing this since middle school. It's been a while, and it's been hard. Izuku can't take much more.
Cut,
Cut,
Cut.
He should stop now, but he can't find it in him to quit.
Cut,
Cut,
Cut,
OW!
Izuku took the blade away from his wrist. Blood started appearing, tiny dots lined the cut. Izuku sighed.
He couldn't even count them all.
The teenager put the boxcutter down. Heh, might as well call it a wristcutter now. He grabbed a bandage and wrapped it around the cuts.
Izuku looked at himself in the mirror. He looked... dead, drained. He felt dead and drained.
Izuku walked out of the bathroom, flipping off the light. He turned the light off in the room part of his dorm and plopped down on his bed.
What a productive day today. He felt so happy and good this morning, he even thought he'd be able to talk to Hound Dog after school and finally, finally, get on the right track to getting better. But then Monoma showed up and told him to kill himself.
Sigh, might as well try his best, he guesses. That's what he's been doing, but that's not enough, so he's gotta step up his death game.
But for now, Midoriya's tired. He wants to go to sleep.
Maybe one of these days, Midoriya will be able to go to sleep.

Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
It was dark when Izuku woke up. It was also 3:48 AM, but that doesn't matter.
The wounds on Izuku's wrists stung. And if he's being completely honest, he doesn't really want to come to class today. It's a Friday anyway, he'll be fine if he misses one day of class.
Izuku grabbed his phone and turned it on, hissing at the bright light as he scrambled to turn the brightness down. Once his eyes got used to the burning, he clicked on Aizawa's contact.
He sent out a text.
DADZAWA (real dad)
3:54 AM, July 12th
Hi Mr. Aizawa,
I won't be in school today because I am
feeling sick. Please send classwork with
classmate. so yeah im not showing up
today bc the rain probably got me sick.
BYEEEE
Eh, good enough. Izuku sent it and then conked back to sleep.
A few hours passed, and he awoke to banging on the door. He groaned and got up, waddling to the door. He opened it, not caring who was there.
"Izuku, are you not coming to class today or what?!" Katsuki barked out.
"Katsuki's been pacing outside your dorm for at least five minutes. He's thought about multiple ways to break into your dorm, and almost tried to. Also, he's worried," Shoto said, explaining to Izuku why he was banging too loud.
Izuku hummed, half-asleep. "Nah. I'm sick. Too tired. Not going today. Already texted Aizawa, but you guys can tell him if you want. Get my schoolwork for me. Goodnighthavefunbesafebye-" Izuku said, starting to close the door. Shoto stuck his foot in the crack and pushed it open.
"Okay. If you need anything then text me or blondie rat. Bye, Midoriya, get well soon!" Todoroki said, smiling.
"I'll make you rice porridge when I get back. Go lay down and don't strain yourself. Get plenty of sleep and drink lots of fluids! ICY HOT STOP SHOVING ME AWAY DOWN THE HALL!!" Katsuki was rambling down the list of things Izuku should do, but Todoroki had plans to get to school on time, so he was dragging him back to the stairs.
Izuku waved bye to them, smiling. Once they were gone, he closed his door and went right back to bed. He conked tf out, and slept until it was lunchtime.
He woke up and dragged himself out of bed, knowing already Kacchan would be banging his door at any minute. Izuku grabbed his phone and checked for any notifications.
Hm, call from Kacchan, message from Kacchan, another call, eight more messages, a third call, an apology from Sho, about 32 more calls and messages... Ah! A message from Aizawa! He should check that.
DADZAWA (real dad)
10:58 AM, July 12th
Midoriya,
Please take care of yourself while
you are sick. I will stop by around
lunch to check on you. I've
assigned Bakugo to give you any
work you missed so you can turn it
in on Monday. Thank you for telling
me, I've told your other teachers as
well as the class. It's not like you to
miss class, even when you're sick,
though, so you must be really sick.
Make sure to drink a lot of water
and keep your blood sugar up.
Sleep a lot.
DADZAWA (real dad)
12:38 PM, July 12th
I will be coming by in a bit. Make
sure to get something to eat.
Bakugo and Todoroki are coming
too.
12:46 PM, July 12th
ok, just now getting up
Izuku groaned, walking to the door. He pulled it open and came face-to-face with Katsuki getting ready to knock.
"Good morning, Kacchan. I don't think school's over yet, do you?" Izuku said, joking. Katsuki brought his arm down.
"Are you feeling better? I made rice porridge, go and eat. Have you been drinking water? Gatorade? Anything?" Katsuki asked, bringing his arm up to feel Izuku's forehead. Izuku grabbed it and pushed it down.
"I'm feeling tired. I'm gonna go get something to eat," Izuku said, pushing past Bakugo. He didn't like the bright lights in the hallway. It reminded him of a hospital. But yet again, he was sleeping in a dark room for about five hours.
Katsuki followed behind him, trying to match his (slow) pace. Izuku, in his bright pink Hello Kitty pants (same as always) and stolen long-sleeve shirt (it's Shoto's only fun shirt), waddled his way down to the kitchen, where the smell of warm food was suffocating. It wasn't a bad smell though.
Aizawa was sitting on the couch, talking with Shoto. Shoto stopped talking when he got a look at Midoriya.
"Izuku, isn't that my shirt?" Shoto asked, raising an eyebrow. He was pretty sure that was the shirt Izuku gave him for his birthday that went missing. Izuku looked down at the shirt and back up and Todoroki, shrugging.
"Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Who knows," Midoriya said with a smile. That meant it was obviously Shoto's shirt. Shoto sighed and rolled his eyes playfully. He'll let Midoriya have it this once. He'll steal it back later, when Midoriya isn't looking.
Aizawa stood up from the couch and walked over to Izuku.
"How are you feeling? Any better?" the teacher asked, looking at his sick student. Izuku hummed and shrugged.
"I feel sick. The same as this morning," Izuku answered honestly. He did feel sick. He felt sick because of what Monoma said to him yesterday, for lying, for what he did, for everything.
It's fine though, everything would be over soon. He wouldn't have to feel sick anymore after today. He won't have to feel anything anymore after today.
Izuku got himself some of the porridge and ate it on the couch. The three that came to visit him also got some lunch, since they would most likely be visiting Izuku the entire time.
They all chatted until it was time for the visitors to leave.
"Thanks for coming bye. I'm tired though, so you guys know what I'm gonna do with the rest of my day," Izuku said. He was so tired...
They left back to school, leaving Midoriya all alone at the dorms. He just went back to his dorm and slept on his bed.
About the time when his fellow peers were supposed to get back from school, Izuku was all set up. He had hung his rope and was standing on top of the chair. No one would know until it was too late and he was gone. It was perfect.
His notebook was set out on his desk. His bed was made. His room was clean. He had no plans for anything else after today. He had all his letters written and ready to be read.
He had his time of death ready. His way of death too. He had any plans after his death ready and planned out.
He hoped no one would be too heartbroken, and he hoped there wasn't a mess for anyone to clean up.
Izuku put the rope necklace around his neck. He was ready to kick the chair out from under him.
The door opened. The door opened. It was closed.
"Midoriya babes!~ I brought your schoolwork~" His classmate, Ashido Mina, said. She gasped and clutched onto the small stack of papers in her hands. "Midoriya, Izuku, how about we step down from there. We can talk about this," she said, taking a small step towards him.
Izuku's bottom lip quivered. "Okay, yeah, I can step down..." he said, causing Mina to exhale and stand up straight.
Midoriya kicked out the chair from under him. He hung in the air.
Mina screamed, dropping the papers and rushing to lift him so he could still breathe and not die. She tried her best to hold him up, but the pants were making it a bit hard, and her lack of strength too.
"Help!! HELP!!!" Mina screamed out, trying to get the attention of whoever so they could help her get Midoriya down from the rope without hurting them.
If she tried to use her quirk on the rope, she might hurt Midoriya in the process. It'd hurt him really bad.
Their teacher ran in, his eyes widen at the sight of Midoriya with a noose around his neck and Ashido trying to hold him up.
"Ashido, get on the chair and cut the rope! I'll hold him up!" Aizawa spoke with terror. His student did what was needed of her, rushing to get the chair up and getting on it. Aizawa grabbed hold of Midoriya, whose flailing movements were slowing down, his eyelids getting droopy, his skin turning colors.
His eyes closed as Mina managed to get the rope cut with her acid quirk. Aizawa quickly brought him down to the ground, yanking the rope off his neck, trying to hear and feel for any breathing.
There wasn't any breathing for a few seconds. Aizawa was about to start CPR, but there was a small, shallow, raspy breath that came from Midoriya. His breathing was quiet and shallow, and his pulse was weak. But he was breathing and alive nonetheless.
Aizawa let out a pained breath. "He's alive. Midoriya's alive," Aizawa announced to the only other person in the room.
"Thank you, Mina, for calling out for help and cutting the rope. You really are a hero," the teacher said. Mina's lip wobbled, her face scrunching up and tears fell from her eyes. The girl started crying, sobs escaping her lips.
Aizawa opened his arms for the woman in case she needed it. She did. Mina hopped down the chair and crashed into Aizawa's arms. She didn't need to see or experience what had just happened, no teenager did.
Aizawa rubbed her back and let her cry. He comforted Mina, his student, a hero. He didn't tell her that she'll see much more of this as a professional hero, he just told her how well she reacted, and how it's all okay now.
When no more tears would escape the pink woman's eyes, she pulled away from the hug and looked at Midoriya's unconscious, alive, breathing body.
"Wha- sorry, what do we do with him?" Mina asked, her voice cracking. Aizawa looked at the body too.
"I... I don't know. Probably tell your classmates now, that way you guys can keep an eye on him. I'm not sure. I'll stay here for the rest of the day though," Aizawa said, taking his eyes off of Izuku. Mina hummed.
"How long has this been going on for?" she asked. Aizawa looked down at his lap, trying to swallow the lump in his throat.
"To my knowledge, a few days. Maybe a while. I only found out on Tuesday," Aizawa answered. Might as well let her know, since she's already seen Midoriya try to kill himself.
Mina's face fell. "Did he..." she held back a sob, "Did he try to kill himself that day too? Is that what the bang was? Him?" she said, trying to hold back the tears and sobs. Aizawa stayed silent. That's all Mina needed to know. A sob escaped from her lips.
"Why didn't he tell us... We could've helped..." she muttered to herself, a few tears slipping from her eyes. Her mascara was running, but she didn't really care at the moment how she looked. He cared about Midoriya right now.
He's done so many nice things for the class... He's helped them with their work, cleaning, he let them talk to him about their problems, gave them company, was always a friend to whoever. What did he do to deserve all this? He was always such a nice person who was always willing to help, even if it meant hurting himself...
Mina sobbed. She didn't let it last long. She wiped her face, taking a breath in from her nose and letting it out from her mouth.
"Alright. Let's put him in the common room," Mina said, standing up. Aizawa nodded his head, getting up too. He picked Midoriya up, letting Mina leave the room first. Aizawa turned the lights off and shut the door. He followed Mina to the common room, ignoring the looks his students were giving them all when they peeked their heads out of their dorm.
When they got there, Aizawa set Izuku to lay down on the couch. He quickly texted the class 1A group chat to tell them all to get down to the common room.
CLASS 1A
4:19 PM, July 12th
DADZAWA (real dad)
Can you all please come down
to the common room, theres
some news that you all need
to know.
ALIEN QUEEN MINAAA
It's urgent and important. Come
down right now.
IDAD (aka sonic)
Alright! I will get the class and
bring them down!
Aizawa was sitting on the couch with Mina, his eyes red from trying not to cry (and actually crying too).
Soon, the class came down to see what the news were. Aizawa stood up at the front of the room, where everyone could see him. Some of his students stood, while others sat, but all of them were there.
Some whispered to each other, asking what it was about. Aizawa cleared his throat.
"Class. There has been an... issue, that has happened to one of your classmates," Aizawa said. Mina started crying again, putting her face in her hands. "Mina was the one to find them, and get help. So thank you Mina, for being a hero."
The class was confused. Who was it? What happened? Should someone wake Midoriya?
Aizawa took a shaky breath. "One of your classmates just tried to commit suicide. Please don't try to wake him," he said. The class gasped and murmured among each other, looking at Midoriya's sleeping form. He was the only one asleep.
Midoriya was the one who tried to commit suicide.
"It has come to my attention now. And so I ask of you guys to please keep an eye on him when I am not around. It's been going on for a while, I think. If any of you guys need to talk to someone, me or another teacher will always be open. Or there's the school counselor, Hound Dog. Please reach out and talk to someone. I will be here for the rest of the day. I ask you guys just to not sworm Midoriya or pry information out of him, and just to keep an eye on him. Thank you," Aizawa said.
The class was quiet. Some were mumbling in denial, while other were crying, and some were just silent, trying their best to soak up the information. Every had the same question on their mind...
Why Midoriya? Why him?
Izuku slept a bit longer, until the class thought he was sleeping for too long and decided to wake him up. Izuku's eyes fluttered open, he looked around and sucked up his surroundings before groaning.
"Goddammit," Izuku mumbled, covering his eyes with his hands.
"I told them about what happened, Izuku," Aizawa said, sipping coffee from a mug and reading a book. Izuku hurried to sit up and look at Aizawa with wide eyes. Aizawa put his mug down on the coffee table.
"YOU DID WHAT?! YOU BASTARD!!" Izuku screeched and launched his foot out to kick Aizawa. The teacher grabbed Izuku's ankle, stopping him. He didn't even look at him. Izuku let his other leg out and kicked Aizawa's book to the floor.
Aizawa let go of his troublesome student. Izuku grumbled and got up off the couch. He started stomping away, but a tongue got wrapped around him and lifted him into the air.
"Tsu. Let me down," Izuku said, crossing his arms and deeply frowning. Tsu shook her head.
"You're staying in the common room, ribbit," she said, putting him back on the couch. Izuku groaned.
"I was just going to go to the bathroom! Am I not allowed to pee anymore? God, try to kill yourself once and..." Izuku mumbled that last sentence, but a few people heard it.
Bakugo spoke up, "I can go with him." Izuku thought that was unneeded, and had a mouthful of complaints about it while he stomped to the bathroom with Bakugo behind him. People could hear screams of Bakugo needing to turn around so he can pee in peace, and then screams to move so he can do it in the stall instead.
Huh, wonder where Midoriya's calmness went.
The rest of the day went of the class forcing Midoriya to either stay in the common room where everyone could watch him, or to have someone with him.
It got on Midoriya's nerves. He yelled a lot that day and complained a shit ton.
When it was bedtime, Midoriya just grabbed Bakugo's shirt sleeve and dragged him to the hot head's dorm, his pillow and blanket in tow. He pointed to the doorknob.
"Open it," Izuku demanded, knowing it was locked. Katsuki fumbled with his keys and quickly unlocked it, opening the door for Midoriya and turning the lights on.
Izuku waddled in and dropped his blanket and pillow on the floor, then layed on it, pulling the blanket over his head. "G'night," Izuku mumbled.
Katsuki chuckled at his friend and flicked the lights off, going to his own bed and getting under the covers. He stayed up for a bit, a small nightlight on. Katsuki read a book for at least an hour before he was fully sure Midoriya was asleep and it was okay for Katsuki to also go to bed.
Once his mind finally sucked in the thought that nothing bad would happen to Izuku while he was sleeping, it drifted off to the darkness called sleep.
All of 1A had the same dream. If you could even call it a dream, it was more of a nightmare. It was Izuku killing himself and dying. It was the same way for everyone. They all had the thought when they awoke in a cold sweat.
Why Izuku? Why him?

Chapter 9: Two Days
Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
Izuku woke up in Bakugo's dorm. And at first it was a little confusing, but he soon remembered the events of yesterday and sat up, frowning. This was worse than the night terror he just had.
Izuku looked at the door. Wait, he could see things. A light was on- it was dim, sure, but still making things seeable.
Izuku looked behind him to see a little nightlight on next to Bakugo's bed. Katsuki was sitting with his back against the wall and his nose in a book. When he looked up to check on Izuku, he was met with those emerald green eyes staring at him. That freaked him out for a moment. He hadn't expected Izuku to wake up right now.
"Morning, Izuku. You ready to go down and get breakfast?" Katsuki asked, bookmarking his book and setting it to the side. Izuku hummed, looking away. He stretched his arms over his head and got up.
Katsuki went to the door and opened it, letting Izuku step out first and lead the way to the kitchen. He teenager followed him and matched his pace.
It was about 9:50 AM at that moment, so most of the class was awake and going about their day. When Izuku got to the common room, all eyes were on him. He hated it.
Shoto was already in the kitchen, eating a peach. Izuku looked at him, and decided to hang out with his other friend now.
"Morning, Shoto. Where'd you get the peach?" Midoriya said, leaning on the counter by Todoroki. Shoto swallowed his bite of food and pointed to the counter by the sink.
"The peaches are there. Momo's family sent over some peaches to share since they're 'best at this time of year'." Shoto said, taking another bite of his breakfast. Izuku nodded his head, deciding he'll get a peach this morning.
Katsuki got right to making french toast sticks. Izuku didn't know if he'd eat some of that or not yet, he'll decide if he's still hungry after the fruit.
Izuku washed the sweet fruit and grabbed a sharp knife. Bakugo hadn't seen it, but Todoroki did.
"Midoriya, did you want me to cut that for you? Mine was a little bit crunchy and hard to cut," the candy cane boy questioned. Midoriya shook his head, dipping the tip into the soft skin.
"Nah, I got it. It's not that hard. Either way, I'm skilled in cutting," Izuku said, secretly joking about his history of self harm. He could hear Todoroki mutter "your wrists, maybe." He laughed at that, happy someone understood his humor.
Izuku cut his peach in half, setting down the fruit and blade on the paper towel Todoroki gave him, pulling the halves apart and taking out the seed. He put it next to the blade.
Speaking of the blade, he swiftly grabbed it and jerked the tip towards his neck.
Both tape and ice stopped his hand and covered his hand- knife included. Izuku groaned.
"No fair. This is cheating," Midoriya pouted out, shaking his covered hand.
"How is not letting you kill yourself cheating?!" Sero Hanta exclaimed. He had just acted on reflex for Midoriya's suicide attempt. Wow, now there were three of his classmates that had both witnessed and stopped him from dying.
Izuku groaned. "Unfreeze my hand, please," Izuku said, giving his hand to Todoroki, who started melting the ice and, as soon as he could, took the knife away from Midoriya's hand and slid it to the other side of the island.
Midoriya promptly pouted and ate his breakfast. Hanta ruffled his hair while walking past to get a peach too, but he just washed it and bit into it.
When Izuku was finished with his food, he looked at the french toast sticks Katsuki was setting out to cool. Hm, maybe he does have room in his stomach.
"Kacchaaan, can I pretty please have a french toast stick?" Izuku begged, looking at the hot head with puppy eyes.
"Depends. Will you stop trying to kill yourself?" Katsuki shot back, raising an eyebrow. Izuku put some thought into his answer.
"Debatable," He answered honestly.
"Then no. People who try to kill themselves don't get any sticks."
"NOOO KACCHAN PLEASEE-"
"Nope."
"Fine then, I won't try to kill myself," Izuku confidently stated. Katsuki hummed, an amused look on his face.
"Okay, then here you go." Katsuki handed Izuku a plate of the sticks with some syrup. Izuku grinned and took the plate.
"I won't try to kill myself anymore... I will kill myself," Izuku confidently stated. Katsuki frowned and reached to grab the plate back, but Izuku already made a run out of the kitchen. "THANKS KACCHAN!!!" he yelled behind him.
"Isn't that the same thing?" he heard Hanta say to Todoroki, who shrugged and took a big bite from his peach.
Izuku happily ate his breakfast on the couch. No one disturbed him, luckily. When Izuku was done, he slinked back into the kitchen to put his plate into the sink. He grabbed a cup and filled it with water. He sipped it and sat in the living room.
He realized he didn't have his phone with him. He wanted to go get his phone because one of the fanfictions he was reading updated this morning. And since he's alive and all he might as well read it.
Izuku put his cup down and stood up. He started walking to the stairs, only to get stopped by Aoyama Yuga.
"Bonjour, Midoriya ☆" Yuga greeted. He noticed no one was with the boy. "Where are you headed?" he asked, most likely going to go with Midoriya if there was no one else.
"Going to my dorm. My phone's in there," Izuku said, starting to walk up the steps. Yuga nodded his head.
"I'll go with you! I borrowed Mina's nail polish to make my nails ☆*sparkle*☆" Yuga said, hopping up the steps with Midoriya. Izuku hummed, not saying anything about Aoyama coming with him. They both knew Mina didn't wake up this early on a Saturday.
Well, today she did. But this Saturday is different than the rest.
The two teenagers went to Midoriya's dorm. Izuku got his phone while Yuga watched him, leaning against the doorframe.
The needing to return nail polish was a lie. His nails were sparkly, yes, but he returned it Thursday. Midoriya just seemed so upset yesterday, he didn't want to straight out say he's going with him to watch him and make sure he doesn't do anything.
Midoriya turned around and held his phone up for Aoyama to see. They walked out back to the common room. Yuga went and got breakfast, while Izuku went to his spot on the couch, going onto his phone.
The class didn't say anything about how they were panicking quite a bit while he was gone. Izuku knew though. He knew more than the class did. He knew everything.
Izuku spent a few hours in the common room, either chatting with someone, looking at his phone, or watching something on the TV. Sometimes he would just stare at nothing with that blank expression for a few minutes.
When the time was 12:01 PM, everyone was up. Most were in their dorm, but some were down in the common room. No one was in the kitchen.
Izuku got up, holding his empty cup too. "I'm gonna get more water," he said, starting his way to the kitchen. He saw someone get up.
"You guys shouldn't have to come with me for this one, you can just look through the door," he pointed out. Eijiro froze and sat back down.
The teenager went into the kitchen and to the sink. He glanced at the door, and thankfully, he could barely see his classmates. He knew they could just barely see the sliver of him. Izuku quietly opened the cabinet under the sink with his foot, and quickly grabbed the clear cleaning fluid.
The sound of running water hid the sound of him pouring the cleaner into his cup. He quickly put the bottle back and closed the cabenit, turning the water off and picking up his cup.
Izuku brought the cup to his mouth and drank a mouthful of it. He turned and saw Eijiro and Katsuki talking while walking in.
"Hey, Midoriya! What snack should we have today?" he asked, pointing finger guns at him. Izuku gulped.
"Hm, pretzels and chocolate frosting," Izuku offered. Kirishima ooh-ed at the thought and nodded his head in agreement, grabbing a bag of pretzels and a thing of frosting. Izuku took another gulp of his cleaner.
Katsuki eyed him suspiciously. Izuku looked at him quickly before looking away from him. He drank a bit more.
Kirishima popped open the container and bag, heading over to Midoriya and offering him some. Izuku gladly took one. After he ate it, he drank his liquid.
Katsuki quickly came over and snatched his cup, taking a big whiff of it.
"Yo, Bakubro, what are you doin-"
"That's not fucking water."
Izuku awkwardly looked away from them.
Kirishima looked at Midoriya. He quickly threw the food onto the counter and punched Izuku in the stomach. The cleaner went back up Midoriya's throat and into the sink. Izuku vomitted whatever cleaner he had in his system out and into the drain.
"The fuck, Kirishima??"
"You said it wasn't water."
Katsuki poured the cleaner down the drain. Izuku spat into the sink, glaring at the two.
"You guys know you could've shoved a toothbrush down his throat, right?" A voice from the doorway said. It was Jiro Kyoka.
So they grabbed a toothbrush and shoved it down Midoriya's throat while he was being held still by Kirishima. Izuku puked whatever else he had in his stomach out into the sink. Some of it got on the floor.
Izuku sat on the floor by the island. Eijiro sat by his side. Katsuki cleaned the puke off the floor.
Kirishima tried making conversation with Midoriya, but he just refused to talk. He did accept the (peace offering) food from him, though.
They soon moved back to the couch and watched movies. Izuku still didn't talk to anyone though, even if they directly spoek to him. He just ignored them and focused on the movie (and the food Kirishima was feeding him).
Izuku was quiet for the rest of the day. He didn't complain when someone followed him to the bathroom. He didn't say anything when there was a person constantly following him around the dorms. Didn't yell when someone had physically given him his daytime pills. Didn't scream when he was asked (on multiple occasions) to stay in the common room. He just took it, he just did it.
The class thought he was doing good for the rest of the day, so they let him go to the bathroom alone when it was about 9:57 PM.
They forgot there were pills in the bathroom.
Midoriya swallowed an entire two bottles of pills by the time he left.
No one knew.
Koda Koji walked down to the common room. The shy boy spotted Izuku sitting next to Bakugo like nothing had happened. When Izuku got up to get a snack (Sato was in the kitchen making cookies), Koda went over to Bakugo.
"Um, Ba-Bakugo?" he said, scared for how the hot head would react when he said whatever he was going to say. Bakugo looked at him and hummed, signalling for him to continue. "M-my friends were in the b-bathroom and they t-told me that Midoriya, um, Mi-Midoriya took t-two bottles of pi-pi-pills." Koda internally screamed for stuttering. He was currently trying to work on his stutter, usually he's better, but he's a bit nervous right now.
Bakugo's eyes widened. So did the rest of the people in the room. Bakugo looked to the doorway of the kitchen.
"Is that true, Izuku? Did you take pills you weren't supposed to? Do we need to get the toothbrush again?" Bakugo asked. Izuku was wide-eyed and staring at Koda. If looks could kill, Koda would've been brutally murdered, all pure gore, like a combination of all the horror movies you could imagine, all the deaths in those.
Izuku looked at Katsuki next, still not answering.
Katsuki stood up and took a step towards Izuku. "Izuku, tell me if you swallowed two bottles of pills," he sternly said. Izuku visibly swallowed. "I'm getting the toothbrush," Katsuki stated.
To that bold statement, Izuku dropped his apple and made a run for it. "YOU'RE NOT SHOVING THAT DAMN TOOTHBRUSH DOWN MY THROAT AGAIN!!!" he screamed as he jumped from step to step. Bakugo grabbed the toothbrush that was mocking Midoriya the entire day off of the coffee table while the others in the room ran either outside, into the elevator, or up the steps in an attempt to follow him.
Bakugo ran up the steps after him. Izuku was leaping over the railing and jumping from one story to the next, but Bakugo was just as fast. He was about two stories away from grabbing him, but he was damn close.
Izuk reached the top, the fifth floor, and ran towards the boys side. He spotted a door open- it was Sero's room, but the door was still open. He knows that Sero likes to get fresh air near when he's going to bed, and he keeps both the balcony and front door open when he does it.
The elevator dinged as it let those few people out. Mina was one of those people, sprinting after Midoriya.
Izuku glanced back and panic shot through his mind. It reminded him of middle school, when his bullies would chase him home from school. Plot twist, he never was fast back then.
Izuku ran fast to Sero's dorm, running in. He rushed out a quick apology before running through the balcony door and jumping to the other side of the railing.
"GET HIM!!" Mina yelled too late. Midoriya had jumped. Oh god, what if he was dead?!
Mina looked in Sero's dorm to see him on the edge of the balcony, holding on to his elbow, which tape was shot out of. "Got him," Sero panted out, calming Mina's nerves.
Bakugo was on the room under's balcony, reaching his arms out and grabbing onto Izuku's taped body. "Alright! You can let him go now! I got hold of him!" Bakugo called out from the floor under. Sero ripped the tape out, letting all of Midoriya's body weight go to him.
"He's fine, he's safe, he's alive," Mina muttered to no one in particular before sinking down to the floor, leaning her head on the doorframe. Sero hummed, plopping down on his bed and putting his face in his hands.
Midoriya got carried by Bakugo to the dorm room's bathroom, and once again, got the toothbrush shoved down his throat. Midoriya hurked up the pills he had swallowed up into the toilet. Bakugo rubbed his back while he cried and puked.
When Izuku was done, he stood up and flushed the toilet. Bakugo quickly got up.
"Sorry," Izuku muttered out, looking down at his feet and slowly walking out of the dorm. Bakugo walked with him. He sighed.
"It's fine, just... don't do that again. It scared the crap out of all of us. We really care for you, you know that, right?" Katsuki said, looking at Midoriya. Midoriya hummed and did a half shrug. The rest of their walk to the common room was quiet.
When they got there, everyone's attention was on him. Izuku bowed and said, "Sorry that I worried you guys. I'll try my best to not do it again." Izuku straightened, but still looked down.
Mina rushed up and crushed him in a hug. Dang, where was this strength yesterday?
After a brief hug and cry session, everyone said their good nights. Bakugo and Izuku went to the blond's dorm in silence. They got into their beds, and Izuku almost immediantly fell asleep after mumbling a good night.
Katsuki chuckled and said a good night back before shutting off the nightlight, letting the room be in complete darkness. He drifted off to sleep after a few minutes.
Tomorrow surely couldn't be worse than it was today, right?

Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
Izuku felt like he was drowning. He wanted to get out. He needed to get out. Everything was coming at him all at once, and it was all too much. It hurt so much. He just wanted to go to sleep.
He jerked awake, sitting up quickly. He was drenched in sweat. Izuku quickly looked around, trying to get a vision of his surroundings. His breathing was getting fast. He felt around for his phone, a flashlight, any kind of thing that can give off light.
He finally got hold of his phone and turned it on, quickly getting the flashlight on. He shined it around the room, not quite calming down yet. He saw the room he was in. He saw the other person in it. It was Bakugo. Oh, it was just Bakugo. Okay...
Izuku started calming down a bit. He saw the rest of the room in his phone's flashlight. When he was calmed down enough, he turned the nightlight on and kept it on the lowest it could be on. He turned off his phone and set it down next to him. He curled up into a tight ball, just letting himself think for right now.
The time was currently 12:48 AM. He had barely gone to sleep an hour ago. Ugh.
Izuku laid back down, curling and closing his eyes. It took about forty minutes to go to sleep.
He fell back into his restless dream. The horrid night terror. He had this dream every night when he didn't take his sleeping pills. You'd think it'd end differently, or he would stop having it after so many years. But no. Even if he did something different during the nightmare, the ending was the same.
It was always the same...
After a few hours of sleep, he woke back up, jerking and seizing on the ground as he gasped for breath. Izuku sat up quickly, putting his hand on his wet cheek. He wiped off the tears as he composed himself, reminding himself that he was safe and with one of his friends. He was fine... Nothing bad was going to happen... It's not going to happen...
Izuku looked back at the clock, noting that he only slept for about two hours. It was 3:31 AM right now. Izuku lightly groaned, putting his head back on his pillow. It took an hour for him to go back to sleep.
Izuku's night terrors didn't stop there. They continued. They kept going. They never stopped. Izuku kept running. Izuku kept dying. Izuku kept being tortured.
Izuku kept crying.
It was only an hour of sleep this time. Izuku hated it. He wiggled around under his blanket, trying to wiggle off the bad dreams and memories. He checked the time. 4:40. Not time to wake up yet.
Izuku closed his eyes and fell asleep after a while. He got even less sleep that time.
The cycle repeated over and over and over again. It was endless.
The last one was really bad. It was at 10:43 AM.
Izuku woke up, convulsing and seizing. He gasped for air, panicking at everything. Tears were running down his face as his eyes scanned over everything.
"Izu- Shit!" he heard Katsuki mutter. There was a spitting noise and a clatter of a toothbrush. Oh no. NOT THE TOOTHBRUSH AGAIN. THAT'S NOT GOING DOWN HIS GODDAMN THROAT AGAIN.
"YOU PUT THAT DAMN TOOTHBRUSH ANYWHERE NEAR ME AND I'LL BLOW YOUR GODDAMN BRAINS OUT!!" Izuku screamed, quickly sitting up. He twinkled and sparkled with the green electricity sparking up around him and his finger pressed into a flicking position.
Katsuki put his hands up. "I don't have a toothbrush with me. I'm not holding onto a toothbrush right now. It's okay. No more toothbrush," he said, taking a small step towards Izuku.
Izuku blinked a few times like he was processing what just happened. The lightning died down and disappeared. Izuku brought his hands down and put them in his lap.
"Sorry. I don't know what got into me," Izuku said, trying to rack up a reason for why he acted like that and coming up with none.
Katsuki slowly walked over to him and crouched down next to him. "Hey, it's okay. You woke up and were shaking really bad, I could hear your breathing... Are you okay? Do you wanna talk about it?" he said, now fully sitting down next to the teenager.
Izuku shrugged his shoulders. He didn't really know if he was okay. After so many night terrors in only one night, he didn't really know what to say.
"I don't know. But I'll be fine. It was just a nightmare," Izuku said, trying to smile and be positive. He was terrified. But he didn't know how to say that, so he just played it off chill.
Katsuki cocked an eyebrow at that. He didn't believe it, but he won't push and pry. "Alright, if you're so sure... But if you ever need to talk, then I'm open for you," he said, standing up.
"Ready to go downstairs?" he asked, holding his hand out for Izuku to take. Izuku nodded his head and took Katsuki's hand, getting up with his help. Katsuki glanced at his bathroom.
"Do you think I could finish brushing my teeth or are you gonna blow my brains out if I try it?" Katsuki asked, joking slightly. Izuku laughed a little bit that it.
"Depends. You can take your chances," Izuku said, smiling a genuine smile. Katsuki hummed.
"I'll take my chances," Bakugo said, going into his bathroom and quickly finishing brushing his teeth. Izuku did not blow his brains out, even when he, very visibly, placed his toothbrush back where it went.
The two went out for breakfast, chatting and laughing. Katsuki noticed the dark circles under his eyes and the slightly red eyes. He didn't comment on them. It might've upset Izuku, and that's the last thing they need after his little... outburst this morning, and what happened last night.
The two got to the common room, which was bustling with activity from their fellow classmates.
"Good morning, Izuku."
"Morning, Sho!"
Izuku happily greeted his classmates, and they greeted him back. Izuku seemed to be having a good morning, besides when he woke up.
"Ah, Midoriya, Bakugo! Good morning to the both of you! There are leftover pancakes on the counter. They may be a bit cold, but you can heat them up in the microwave. Nothing is planned for today, but Aizawa-sensei did say he was going to come by to visit around noon, so please be ready for that!" Ida said, stopping to talk to them.
Izuku nodded his head. "Alright, got it! Thank you, Tenya!" he replied, smiling back happily. Ida smiled back before going to what he was going to do before chatting to the two of them.
The two friends went to the kitchen and got some of the leftover breakfast. Izuku ate his pancakes hungrily, shoving his food into his mouth.
After breakfast, things went fine. Izuku got dressed and out of the clothes he's been wearing for about three days now. It was another long sleeve, since he didn't really want other people seeing the bandages around his wrists.
Ew. He has to take a shower today. And wash Todoroki's shirt. And his bright pink Hello Kitty pants. He likes those pants. A lot. They're so comfy :)
Aizawa eventually came to check on how the class was doing. They all chatted and told him how yesterday went.
Izuku chimed in on the conversation of what happened yesterday, "Kacchan gave me french toast sticks yesterday! Oh, and I tried killing myself four times yesterday." Izuku spoke with casuals, like attempting suicide was the same as eating french toast sticks. Which, by the way, it isn't the same thing.
Aizawa's eyes widened at that. "I'm sorry? You did what? Did I hear that correct?" he asked, hoping that it wasn't the truth.
Shoto nodded his head. "He did. I can approve."
"So can I." Sero said, a weak smile on his face as he remembered all the tape used to stop death from making it's way to Midoriya.
"And sadly me too." Mina sighed out, looking at Aizawa with a tired took.
"Me and Koda as well." Jiro spoke up, a calm look on her face.
"Yeah. I can give evidence. So can Kirishima. Also, I think we traumatized Izuku," Katsuki added on, remember the fact that Kirishima punched Izuku's stomach. And that Izuku will scream at the sight, mention, and sound of a toothbrush.
Aizawa opened his mouth to say something, but it shut. "Okay. Great to know that information. So four new suicide attempts, you all are traumatized, and we need milk. Good talk," Aizawa summarized the events of what happened yesterday.
Izuku did a big smile at Aizawa. And Aizawa scrunched up his face a little bit in response, then let it rest.
"Yep. Sounds right. I might see Hound Dog today," Izuku said. That caught everyone's attention.
"You will?" Aizawa asked, wanting to know if he should tell Hound Dog that Midoriya's in need of talking to him and it can't wait until tomorrow so he needs to move his furry butt to his office or not.
Izuku hummed. "Yeah. Maybe when you leave I'll go," he said, picking up his phone from the coffee table.
Aizawa smiled happily. One of his students (the one that needed the most help) might actually see Hound Dog! The school counselor! He couldn't be happier at his problem child.
"That'll be good. If you're planning to go then I can text him and tell him. I can walk you there if you want," Aizawa offered, trying to make it an official plan and not just something he said he might do. Izuku looked up from his phone.
"Hm, I guess. Okay," he dryly said. Everyone was surprised, but they were also happy for their friend. He was finally reaching out to another adult! They were proud.
Aizawa quickly texted Hound Dog and told him that one of his students needed to talk with him. And that it was important. It can't wait until tomorrow. So Hound Dog needs to be in his office by 3, the time Aizawa was going to drop Midoriya off. Hound Dog sent a thumbs up in response.
Time flew by for Aizawa's visit, and soon it was time to leave. Aizawa slipped his shoes on, waiting for his problem child to finish getting ready so he could bring him to counseling. Aizawa waited patiently as Midoriya scrambled around his dorm trying to get his things.
"Midoriya, your phone and keys should be fine. You don't need to bring your wallet. Nor your notebook. Yes, a jacket you can bring, but you already have a long sleeve on, so it's honestly your choice," Aizawa was saying as Midoriya pointed and grabbed things. After a long (by long, it was actually 20 seconds) debate, Midoriya decided on his phone and keys.
Izuku hurried downstairs to put on his shoes. Aizawa followed him down, ready to go.
"You ready?" Aizawa asked Izuku, who nodded his head, clutching his phone in his hand. A couple classmates said bye to them, and they left.
To say that Izuku was nervous was an understatement. He was beyond nervous, he was terrified. He didn't know what would happen-
What usually does happen during counseling? Do you do something or just talk? What would to talk about or do then? Gosh, there was so much Izuku didn't know about. Why didn't he research this?!
Oh yeah, he didn't research it because he decided to do it just today. UGH, STUPID MOUTH SPEAKING BEFORE RESEARCHING.
When the two people got onto the campus and to the counselor's door, Aizawa knocked. There was a faint "come in" heard before the adult opened the door. Izuku awkwardly stood by the door while Aizawa and Hound Dog chatted for a quite few minutes.
"This is Midoriya Izuku, my hero course student. You two can talk and get to know each other. Do you want me to pick you up after or are you going to walk back to the dorm after this?" Aizawa said, facing Midoriya. Midoriya looked away.
"I can walk back," Izuku said, looking at his red shoes. Aizawa hummed and walked past him, placing his hand on his shoulder.
"Have fun, kiddo. If you need me, then you have my number," Aizawa said, ruffling his hair before leaving. Izuku nodded his head a little bit.
"Midoriya, welcome. Please, do have a seat," Hound Dog said, motioning towards the couch across from him. Izuku hesitantly walked in, closing the door and sitting on the couch.
"Hey, Midoriya. I'm Hound Dog, the school counselor. People go to me whenever they want or need to talk to me about something. Aizawa told me you wanted to chat with me. Should we start with why you would like to talk, or should we get to know each other a bit more?" Hound Dog said, subtly taking out a notepad.
Izuku let his eyes drift around the office while he talked, "I don't think I should trauma dump right away." What Izuku really thought was that he shouldn't tell Hound Dog that he kept trying to kill himself and has a history of self harm, that's why he's here to talk.
Hound Dog nodded him head and hummed. Okay, alright.
"Okay, well then... What's your favorite color? Mine's pastel colors, but I still like the regular colors too," the furry adult said, smiling a bit. Izuku chuckled a bit. He didn't think Hound Dog liked pastels. He'll have to add that to his notebook when he gets back.
"My favorite color is red. Like, a blood red, or a crimson red," Izuku said, now looking at Hound Dog. He was in his casual attire, probably since it was the weekend.
"That's a good color. Now let's see... My favorite animal is a panda, they look so soft and cuddly and they're so cute!! What's your favorite animal?" the counselor was very happy about pandas.
Izuku thought for a moment. "Mice. Or rats. No, mice. Those white ones with the red eyes specifically. I used to have one when I was younger as a pet, but it got eaten when a snake sneaked into our apartment through the toilet," he calmly said, remembering the memory of little him seeing this big snake chow down on his pet mouse.
Hound Dog's mouth went into an O shape. "Oh, sorry to hear about your pet. Anyways, do you think we know each other enough now to share what was on your mind when you came in?" Hound dog asked, seeming ready for the answer.
Long story short: Hound Dog was very much not ready for the answer.
"Oh. Sure. I tried killing myself over five times last week. And I cut my wrists a lot too."
Hound Dog really wasn't ready for that.
After a long session of much-needed therapy, Izuku finally said bye to the now traumatized Hound Dog.
"Bye, Hound Dog! Thanks for listening!" Izuku cheerfully said, smiling happily. He waved as he was walking out the door. Hound Dog looked traumatized and if he was questioning his life choices.
"Y-yeah, no problem. Thanks for coming to talk to me. Bye, Midoriya. I'll see you, um, next week?" Hound Dog said, scared for the teenager. So much, and he's only about to turn 16...
Izuku practically skipped out of the room. He happily walked back to the dorms by himself.
He slipped off his shoes when he got inside.
"Oh, hey, Izuku. How was therapy?" Shoto asked, looking behind the couch at Izuku. Izuku bounced over and plopped down next to him.
"It was actually really good! Hound Dog looked scared by the time we were done though, heh..." Izuku said, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. Shoto laughed.
"Hehe, I think anybody would honestly," Todoroki joked. Izuku laughed.
Bakugo came down the stairs and saw two of his friends on the cocuh chatting. He decided to join in on the conversation.
"Sup, bitches."
"Hey, Kacchan!"
"Hello... b-bastard..?"
There was a quick moment of silence... then Katsuki burst out laughing.
"YES THAT'S WHAT I TAUGHT YOU ICY HOT!!"
"STOP TEACHING OUR CHILD HOW TO CURSE!!!"
"YES THIS IS HOW I RAISED YOU HALF'N'HALF!!"
"KACCHAN!!"
The two friends bickered in front of their so called "child" (aka Shoto). When they stopped, Izuku kicked Katsuki lightly, demanded a divorce, and then also demanded custody. Katsuki denied it all, and claimed Izuku would have to die before divorcing him and taking the kid.
The day went by, and soon it was around 7:30 PM, but none of them have had dinner yet. Part of the Bakusquad came down and begged Katsuki to go to this hotpot resturant with them, then they continued to invite some people out with them.
Katsuki was convinced to go when he heard there was going to be death level spicy there. "I'll go," he stated. He looked at his two friends that he was sitting with. "Do you two want to go?" he asked them.
The two looked at each other and thought using their faces. They soon nodded to each other and looked back at Katsuki.
"I'll go, he won't though," Shoto said. Midoriya nodded his head.
"I was out enough for one day. I'm staying at the dorms. Bring me back something yummy, please!" Izuku said, smiling. Katsuki and Shoto nodded their heads, making a mental note to converse with each other and decide what to bring Izuku back.
When they got everyone who wanted to go, they started getting their things and shoes on. Izuku waved the large group bye. Now he was all alone in the common room. That was boring. Izuku turned on a movie to watch while he had nothing to do.
It ended after about an hour and a half, once again leaving Izuku with nothing to do. He decided to take a bath. He's been needing one for a few days.
Izuku went up to his dorm and shut the door, locking it. He went to the bathroom and started running the bath, letting the water fill up the tub.
Izuku took off his long sleeve shirt, leaving the tank top up, and he looked in the mirror. He smiled a big smile.
...it didn't fully reach his eyes.
Izuku sighed, letting the smile drop. His eyes scanned over all the scars his body has collected over the year. He hated them. They just reminded him how he was meant to fight a battle again the number one villain.
How he was meant to be a child solier.
Izuku didn't know what time it was. He didn't know when his friends would be back. He didn't know why his thoughts started running. He didn't know why they told him to hurt himself.
Hound Dog said when it starts happening again, to do something that would relax him. Izuku was going to continue undressing and get in the bathtub, but... The first aid kit just called his name as he stared into the clear water.
No, he couldn't... He shouldn't... Yet... it would make everything better...
Izuku gripped onto his arms, digging his nails into his skin. Why did his arms feel so itchy..? Why wasn't the itch going away..?
Izuku scratched his arms, raking his fingernails up and down his skin. His breath grew more panicked and fast as his hands went faster. His arms grew red as small red dots appeared on his arms. The red grew as he continued itching. His arms were bleeding as he scratched his skin raw.
He only stopped when he got the first shock of pain. He brought his hands away from his arms, staring down at his bloody creation. He hiccuped at the sight.
Izuku reached and fumbled with the first aid. He unzipped it and dumped out the contents.
He only meant to take out the banages and treat his arms, he promises. But...
They were screaming at him at this point. The blade just seemed so calming right now...
Izuku held the cold blade up against his wrist and cut it, swiping it hard. Izuku's eyes were brimming with tears. The voices and thoughts were quieting down as he cut.
Izuku went closer to the bathtub, soon sitting on the ledge. Izuku didn't know why, but he dipped a clothed leg into the warm water. His arm got cut as he reached to turn the water off. His other leg got into the water.
Izuku slid into the bathtub. He was dizzy. He was bleeding- like, bleeding a shit ton. Izuku had a hard time breathing as the boxcutter slipped out of his hands and onto the ledge of the tub. He couldn't seem to stay upright...
Izuku reached to the toilet and grabbed his phone, slowly pressing buttons. He put his phone on the ledge, but it knocked over the boxcutter and they both fell to the bathroom floor.
His eyes wouldn't stay open, he couldn't stay awake. The warm water burnt against his open wounds, but he didn't seem to care much. Izuku took one more breath before his head went below water.
Izuku felt like he was drowning. He wanted to get out. He needed to get out. Everything was coming at him all at once, and it was all too much. It hurt so much. He just wanted to go to sleep. But... He just couldn't seem to get up...
"I heard a clatter. A thub? I don't know. Something fell," Jiro said, trying to listen in for anything else. She couln't hear anything. "There's nothing. I don't hear breathing."
Everyone panicked at that. They had gotten back from dinner about ten minutes ago, and couldn't find Midoriya anywhere. He wasn't in the common room or the kitchen, or even the community bathroom.
"Split up and find him! Aizawa's on his way and is almost here!!" Bakugo yelled, starting to run to the stairs. "Earphones! Keep listening and update us on anything you hear, even if it's small!"
The class scattered like mice. When Aizawa got there, someone quickly told him the plan. He copied the rest of his students.
"It's locked!!" someone yelled from upstairs. Aizawa sprinted to the second floor and to the boys side. Kirishima was jiggling the doorknob.
Aizawa kicked the door, but it wouldn't budge.
"I can pick locks!" Mineta yelled, running out of his dorm. People cleared the way, letting Mineta go to the locked door. Mineta worked his magic, and in a few quick seconds, the door was unlocked. People were in his dorm in a matter of seconds.
"BUBBLES!!!" Jiro screamed. "THERE WERE BUBBLES!"
Ojiro locked eyes with the bathroom door and kicked it open. Aizawa quickly went into the bathroom.
Oh. Oh. The sight, oh god, it was sickening.
There was some blood on the counter, and all the bandages dumped out. The boxcutter was bloodied, with fresh blood, and it was on the floor, next to... next to the bathtub...
The water was tinted red, with a figure inside... It was Izuku. Izuku's head wasn't above water. There wasn't any bubbles coming either.
"CALL AN AMBULANCE!!" Aizawa exclaimed. Aoyama was outside the dorm, but he wiped out his phone and dialed 119 (basically the 911 but in Japan, according to Google). He talked frantically and explained the situation. He made sure to stay on the line too.
A tongue shot out and wrapped around Midoriya in the red water. It gently lifted him from it and set him down on the ground. It didn't seem to hurt him or have any bad effect.
Aizawa started on CPR. Katsuki sat by Izuku's head.
"I can do mouth to mouth. He knows me the most and the longest. He'll be fine if I do it," Katsuki said, determind. Aizawa nodded his head. He didn't care who did it, him or someone else, someone was going to do it to get this boy breathing.
"Now," Aizawa ordered, and Katsuki went down and breathed for Izuku. He still wasn't breathing after a bit... Katsuki quickly checked his pulse.
"DUNCE FACE!! ELECTRICITY! USE IT TO START HIS HEART!! NOW!" Katsuki screamed. Kaminari Denki dropped to the other side of Izuku and rubbed his hands together, creating sparks. "200!" Katsuki demanded.
Denki pressed his hands down on Midoriya's chest, sending the shock to him. Katsuki felt for a pulse. Nothing.
"Again!" Katsuki said, and Denki tried it again. Izuku's body jolted from the shock. "One more time!" Katsuki exclaimed. Another shock of electricity was produced by Denki and handed over to Midoriya.
"WE GOT A PULSE!!" Katsuki shrieked. Aizawa started back onto CPR, and Bakugo did mouth to mouth.
Izuku got to breathing again, his body coughing up the bath water. He still wasn't awake though...
Momo rushed in with Tokoyami, them both switching with Denki. Todoroki came into the bathroom and sat by Bakugo.
"I'll dry his arms and you apply the bandages," Momo said, grabbing the dry towel and gently patting his arms dry. Tokoyami wrapped the bandages around his arms tight.
"Shit, there's no tape," Tokoyami muttered. Sero released some tape from his elbow and handed it over to the bird-human. Tokoyami thanked him and taped the bandages.
The ambulance was taking a while, like they had all the time in the world... They barely had all the time for the rest of today.
"Todoroki, warm him up!" Aizawa said, looking at Todoroki. The teenager nodded his head and put his hand on Izuku, heating up. His heat transferred to Izuku, warming up the cold boy.
Kirishima was throwing whatever he thought was needed in a bag for Izuku to have while he was in the hospital. He threw in clothes and a blanket, plus the phone Momo handed him. Well, he plugged it into a portable charger and then threw it in. Momo also handed him the buxcutter, but Mina grabbed it and used her acid to melt it.
Welp, guess now it won't be used again!
The sound of an ambulance filled the air.
Izuku's eyes slowly fluttered open, wincing at the bright lights. He opened them back up, his eyelids still mostly closed. He looked around at his surroundings.
"I'm tired..." Izuku mumbled out, his eyes closing. They quickly opened a little bit.
"We know, Midoriya, we know, just stay awake a bit longer..." Aizawa said, trying to coax Izuku's eyelids to stay open.
Izuku shut his eyes, letting out a breath. Bakugo muttered out a series of no's and pressed his fingers to Izuku's neck. Pulse is still there.
Ida rushed into the room. "The ambulance is here!!" he gasped out. Aizawa carefully took Izuku's unconscious body and picked him up, being gently to try to avoid any injuries.
Ochaco held her hand out and tapped Izuku, making him have no weight. Shoji opened his arms out to hold onto Izuku, and Aizawa passed the boy on. Shoji wrapped his wing-like arms around the teenager and carried him downstairs to the waiting paramedics.
Shoji gave Izuku to the professionals for them to try their best to help him. Aizawa gave them his number to call in case of anything.
The class all got together to talk in Izuku's room. Some were looking everywhere for anything else they needed to take away while others were sitting around the room, thinking about what just happened.
Most of the kids cried. Some just sat there, staring into space. Others tried to comfort their friends, but failed and ended up crying with them.
Aizawa sighed. He held back tears. "We all need to talk about what just happened. Does anyone have anything they would like to share?"
"Yeah, actually, I do," Ochaco said, raising her hand as she tried, and failed, to fight back tears. "Izuku just tried to kill himself!! And he almost succeeded this time if we hadn't found him in time! He looked like he was having such a good day too!!"
Katsuki stood up from his seat on the bed. "Izuku woke up from a fucking nightmare this morning! He was shaking and crying and couldn't breathe! He yelled at me and threatened to blow my brains out and he was going to use his quirk, I could see the lightning! He seemed tired all fucking day! Did none of you guys notice that?!" Katsuki basically screamed.
Aoyama spoke up, "I did notice it. His eyebags were more noticable today, and he kept yawning this morning. I could hear him say that he was tired every other hour."
The class thought back to that day, before they left.
The time was 1:19 PM. Izuku was sitting on the couch with a few of his classmates.
"I'm tired," Izuku stated, yawning.
"Then just go take a nap, Midoriya," Denki replied, looking up from his phone.
Izuku snorted, rolling his eyes. "Nah, Aizawa's gonna be here soon. Maybe after, when he leaves," Izuku said, leaning back into the couch.
Their memory went to the time after that, later in the day when he got back from counseling.
It was 4:37 PM. Izuku was getting a snack in the kitchen.
"I'm tired." Izuku stated again. He ate a mouthful of chips.
"We know, Midoriya, just go to bed." Kirishima said, stealing some of his chips.
Izuku shrugged. "Eh, too early. It'll ruin my sleep schedule," Izuku said, though he never had a sleep schedule to begin with.
God, the class should have seen the signs.
"I... I can't believe it. He gave us so many signs, so many opportunities to find out, but we were too blind to see them... What kind of friends are we?" Mina spoke, tears running down her face.
Class 1A's group crying therapy session continued until of the early hours of then next morning, even though they all had school tomorrow. Some of Izuku's friends cleaned his dorm, especially the bathroom.
They all cried even harder when they saw the post Midoriya had made before they found him. It was Izuku thanking everyone and wishing them a good life.
Aizawa stayed at his kids' dorm building. They all had this big sleepover in the common room. There were no news about Izuku other than his condition was stable. And Aizawa made sure to call Inko to tell her the news about her son, which she broke down about and sobbed on call.
The night went by. Everyone slept, but they were terrorized by the event from that day.
They all shed tears at some point that night, even Aizawa, though the entire class comforted their teacher.
Heh, if only Izuku could've been comforted like this.

Chapter 11: Zero Days
Chapter Text
NO ONE'S POV:
The class had spent the last night sleeping in the common room all together. Some of them were considering not going to school that day, since the events the following day still scarred them.
Izuku was in the hospital for trying, and almost succeeding, to kill himself. There were no current updates on him, which concerned the class. Izuku was still passed out, but at least he was alive. That's all that mattered to them at the moment; that Izuku was alive.
It was about 6:40 at the time, and the class was getting ready for the school day.
"If you guys aren't ready to go to school just yet, I can call in and tell Nezu that this class won't be there due to something happening," Aizawa offered. Multiple people declined his offer.
Aizawa did make his students breakfast though, taking one less thing off their shoulders.
Some time passed, and it was 7:15 AM now. There was a buzz from Aizawa's phone, along with a few other of his students.
He took it out of his back pocket to check it.
Problem Child posted something?! WTF??? The hospital didn't call him?????
Aizawa clicked on the notification and looked at whatever Midoriya posted. He said he lived, bitches.
Oh, it was Midoriya's birthday today? Aizawa hadn't checked the date or noticed that. Guess it was his birthday though. He'll have to make sure to bring a birthday present.
Sucks that Izuku will have to spend his 16th birthday in the hospital...
Wait a minute-
"IZUKU'S AWAKE!!!" Bakugo screamed, jumping up from his spot on the couch. The news spread like wildfire around the dorms.
"Midoriya's awake?"
"He's awake?"
"How is Izuku?"
"Midoriya's up?"
"CHAT IT'S HIS BIRTHDAY-"
"WHAT?? WE GOTTA CELEBRATE!!"
"AIZAWA-SENSEI BRING US TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!!!"
"You guys can wait until after school to visit. Text him if you want to talk to him," Aizawa said, yet he was most likely going to visit Izuku the first chance he gets.
The hospital called Aizawa, which startled him for a second before he picked up. Wow, was he getting soft? Yes, actually, yes he was.
"Hello? Eraser Head speaking," Aizawa said, moving the bowl used for waffle batter into the sink.
"Hello. Are you the phone number listed as Midoriya Izuku's emergency contact at /////// hospital? May you please verify your name?" the person on the other line asked.
"Aizawa Shota, Midoriya Izuku's guardian and teacher. Is there an update on Izuku's status?" Aizawa asked, even though he's pretty sure he already knows the news.
"Ah, yes. There is an update on him. Midoriya Izuku is both stable and awake now. He seems to be doing fine, and we gave him breakfast. You may visit whenever, Izuku's mother has visited and is here currently," the worker spoke professionally. Aizawa knows this has happened before, that's why the worker was so casual and professional about this.
Aizawa said his thanks and hung up. The class rushed through getting ready and eating their breakfast like it would speed time up and they would be able to see Izuku faster.
The class wanted to run to campus, but they exercised self restraint and walked at their teacher's slow pace. When they got to the classroom, they all sat in their seats quietly.
The loudest class was now silenced.
Aizawa didn't like this side of his students. He wanted them to be loud, talk, get out of their seats and visit their classmates, be screaming so loud that other teachers pop their head in to make sure no one's getting murdered.
But that didn't happen. Actually, it was quiet and calm like this for the entire school day. Even the 1A's other teachers asked Aizawa why and what happened, to which Aizawa answered one of their classmates were in the hospital for attempting suicide last night and he woke up just that morning. To that, those who asked gave their condolences and best wishes to get better.
Even during lunch they were quiet. They were staring death at Monoma, and Bakugo literally had to be held back by Kirishima to not beat him up randomly. They all knew what Monoma had done to Izuku now, and they all were deeply enraged.
But, Monoma being Monoma in this fanfiction bc author couldn't find anyone else to be the asshole in this, obviously went over and had something to say about it.
"Where's your little golden boy? He's not attending classes now? What? Did he actually do it?" Monoma taunted. The cafeteria went silent, everyone trying to listen for a part two of the fight from Thursday. Monoma wasn't there Friday, but he was here today.
Bakugo stood up, about to beat the pulp out of the annoying blond. Kirishima grabbed his blazer and pulled him down.
"Bakugo, don't. It's not worth it," Kirishima said, trying to reason with his friend. As much as Eijiro also wanted to beat up Monoma, it would not be manly. And let Midoriya have the first hit, at least.
"What? Not worth what? Is it a worthless reason, just like your little frie-" "YOU SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!!" Eijiro exclaimed, tears brimming his eyes. Monoma shut his mouth.
But that wasn't all Monoma had to say. "Maybe you should also shut off Midoriya's life support-"
"NO, YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP, BITCH!! Wanna know why Izuku isn't fucking here today? BECAUSE HE TRIED TO FUCKING KILL HIMSELF BECAUSE OF ASSHOLES LIKE YOU!! HE'S IN THE GODDAMN HOSPITAL!!" Katsuki screamed, letting his emotions get the better of him. He didn't care that a tear fell.
"He only just woke up today, and if you even THINK of doing one thing to even a hair on his head, me and the rest of my classmates will personally make sure no one stops finding your body," Mina promised, making sure Monoma heard it. She meant it. She doesn't care if she's a hero in training, she could and would kill a person.
Monoma looked surprised. "Damn. Sorry, I guess," he muttered. Ochaco glared at him.
"You shouldn't be saying that to us. Tell our classmate and friend that's trying to survive in the hospital right now," Ochaco said, stabbing her lunch and looking directly at Monoma while she did it.
Monoma chuckled a little. "Heh, I guess..." he mumbled before quickly leaving the cafeteria.
The students of 1A made sure to report Monoma.
The rest of the school day went by like any other school day... Lethally.
When it finally ended, the students went to their dorms and quickly changed, grabbing the gift they had prepared for their classmate. Sato had prepared a big, beautiful, delicious cake for Izuku. It was red, his favorite color. It had 16 candles and switched between chocolate and vanilla for each layer. It was chocolate, vanilla, chocolate. He hoped Midoriya would like it.
Class 1A was ready to go to the hospital to see their friend, so they demanded Aizawa to take them there. They added a pretty please too.
When they all got there, the nurses were a little stunned to see 20 people coming to visit one person, but nonetheless still led them all to the room. It was surprisingly spacious.
Izuku was taking a nap at the moment, the school work that was meant to be turned in today because he was supposed to be at school today on his lap. The class giggled and shushed each other as they all piled in the room.
They all saw the flowers and the card left on the side table, presumably left by Midoriya's mother earlier that day.
With the steady beeping of the heart monitor, Aizawa woke up Izuku. Izuku groaned and mumbled out a weak "five more minutes" before turning his head to the other side. Aizawa sighed and flicked Izuku's forehead, which finally woke him up.
"Hey! What was that for-" Izuku's complaint was cut off by his classmates singing Happy Birthday to him with wide smiles. Some had teary eyes, some were crying, and some were genuinely happy to see Izuku.
The candles on the cake Sato was holding was quickly lit by Todoroki while they were singing.
Izuku's face changed to a bright smile. It warmed everyone's hearts to see the hospitalized boy so happy.
When they were finished singing, they let Izuku blow out the candles. Sato cut the cake (Izuku offered to cut it, but frankly, no one trusted him with the plastic knife) and gave Izuku the first piece.
Izuku happily ate his cake while his friends gave him the presents they had gotten him.
Of course, Katsuki went last, best for last. And of course, Izuku was shocked at first, then it morphed into a wide happy smile as he squealed and bounced a little bit in his hospital bed.
"EEEE Kacchan thank you so much!! Get your butt over here so I can hug you!!" Izuku squealed, putting the box in his lap and stretching his arms out to hug Katsuki. The blonde quickly got over there and let his friend crush him in a back-popping hug.
"What'd he get you, Izuku?" Aizawa asked, looking at the box on his lap.
Izuku broke apart from the hug and smiled, taking the box in his hands. "It's a figurine of all of us together..!" Izuku sheepishly smiled, turning the box over so the class could see it.
"AWW MIDOOO THAT'S SO CUTEEE!!!" Mina exclaimed, hugging and squeezing Midoriya. The entire class squeezed in and got in for a group hug, Izuku being right in center.
Heh, now whenever Midoriya looked at it, it reminded himself of his reason to stay alive. He would stay alive for the people who care and love him...
"Happy birthday, Midoriya!" his 1A family cheered.
...
Izuku is a teenager. He's 16 years old. He goes to U.A. high school for future heroes. Izuku has a quirk called One for All. Izuku has a close relationship with his favorite heros, All Might, Eraser Head, and his classmates. Izuku has a loving mother, and amazing friends. Izuku has everything he could've wanted.
But now...
He's not tired anymore. He wants to stay with his family. He wants to stay alive.
And he'll go every step of his journey with his found family: Class 1A and their homeroom teacher, Aizawa.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IZUKUUU!!!
So, how was it? I hope you liked it, because I certainly did!! I really enjoyed writing this fanfiction, even if my very serious allergy to finishing fanfictions kept flaring up and killing me with writers burden/block (i really didn't wanna write some days).
I liked the ending the most. Yes, it was short, but hey, it was sweet.
But lol, recognize some of the words from earlier chapters? teehee!
BUT WOWIE, 105 PAGES ON A GOOGLE DOC FOR THIS ENTIRE THING!! FONT SIZE 11!! AND ONLY 31,463 WORDS IN TOTAL!!
Thank you all so much for reading this shitty fanfiction, but it's now time for the last and final goodbye, so bye, love you all...
