Cap 1: The Boy's Oath.
There is a small house in the Hage neighborhood and a small family lives in it.
You can see a woman of about 40 years old, her hair is short and light gray, she has a protruding lock in the center of her head, her eyes were green, she was wearing a white shirt, a wine-colored vest, black pants and light brown shoes (and she is quite beautiful and attractive for her age).
The name of this woman is Licita Staria: single mother of two children and widow of a deceased husband.
Licita's husband had died a few months before the birth of her second child and since then she has been trying to raise her two children as best she could, at least for her fortune both had become quite responsible and kind young men.
They both helped her in everything they could at home and loved her as much as she loved them, even though the three of them did not have much living in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the city of Clover, the three of them had each other and it was all they needed.
"Hey mom, Do you need help with breakfast?" a young man with white hair and red eyes who was wearing a long-sleeved shirt with a black vest, black pants and white shoes asked Licita.
This child was Liebe Staria: Licita's eldest son, he was quite sarcastic and sentimental, he loved his mother and brother more than anything in the world.
"Yes, thank you very much Liebe." Licita replied with a happy and affectionate smile to her son.
While Liebe was setting the table for breakfast, Licita was preparing the ingredients to make a soup for herself and her children to eat for breakfast.
"By the way, where is your brother right now?" Licita asked Liebe.
"He is in our room, he is doing his daily training routine." Liebe replied.
"Oh really? I think he should take a break from that at least for a day." Licita said a little worried.
"You know how he is, that's his way of resting." Liebe said with a slight smile.
Meanwhile in the children's room there was a boy doing a lot of sit-ups.
He was a short young man with a green eyes, gray horse similar to Licita's (he even had the same pointy lock in the center of his head as she did), he wore a black headband with a four-sided red star around his head, was dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, a dark blue jacket, pants of the same color and black and white shoes.
This boy was the second son of Licita: Asta Staria, he was a bit noisy, but he was also someone who was happy, kind, positive, determined and very grateful (he was also as attractive as his mother).
He was doing some exercise before school, after to finish him immediately went downstairs to help his mother and brother with breakfast.
The three of them were having a nice time with each other while they had breakfast, Licita took advantage of the moment to talk to her children.
"So... What are your plans for today after school?" Licita asked curiously.
"Well I don't really have any plans, I think I'll just go home and sleep." Liebe says in a relaxed tone.
"I will also return home to train." Asta said with a happy tone.
"I guess your friends have no plans either." Licita said a little surprised.
"We are not so sociable to know about other people's plans mom." Liebe said a little discouraged.
"Don't worry about it brother, it's more fun and comfortable being here with you and mom anyway." Asta said to his brother.
"Very well, anything that changes in your plans you only have to discuss with me." Licita said kindly.
"Sure mom." Asta and Liebe said at the same time.
Asta and Liebe finished their breakfast and immediately went to school, they had to go by train since their school was in the "noble" part of the city, which was quite far from their neighborhood.
Tuition was a bit too expensive to pay, which is why the brothers worked so hard to keep their grades up.
Both of them had quite acceptable grades, while Liebe used his free time to advance his homework and study as much as possible and Asta, although he was not very smart, tried hard and also learned quickly, neither of them wanted to waste the money that their mother invested in their educations.
The brothers arrived at their school and went to their respective classrooms.
"Well... Here we are, I'll go to my classroom, I'll see you at the break." Liebe said to Asta.
"Sure, I'll go to class too or the teacher will get mad at me." Asta replied to Liebe.
"Nothing crazy." Liebe warned his brother.
"Ok." Asta said quite calmly.
Asta went to his classroom at full speed to get ready for his school day, but at that moment something or rather someone got in the way of the protagonist.
"Fu ha! look who walks around these parts." a tall thin boy with long blonde hair adorned with a black headband thinner than Asta's said, dressed in a light green shirt and a dark green one on top, a burgundy jacket, white pants, and black shoes.
This guy was Sekke Bronzazza, he was quite egotistical and rude, he had no respect for people less fortunate than him, he bragged about many things that he didn't really do, he loved to tease Asta and he liked to say the word "Fu ha" all the time for some reason.
"What do you want now Fu ha? I'm in a hurry right now." Asta asked with an impatient tone.
"First of all MY NAME IS SEKKE! I've already told you a thousand times and secondly I've come to remind you of your place Staria, you're forgetting that you're just a failure who lives in a dump just for getting good grades recently." Sekke said as he prepared to fight.
Asta had told his brother that he wouldn't get in trouble so he decided to ignore Sekke and leave immediately.
"Don't ignore me, you poor sewer rat." Sekke said as he launched himself at Asta.
At that moment someone put their foot in the way of Sekke causing him to stumble.
"Hey moron, instead of bothering others you should be studying, maybe that way the feeling of humiliation will go away." a girl with silver hair in two pigtails, pink eyes said, dressed in a purple dress and white coat, wearing gold-colored pointless shoes and white knee-highs.
This girl was Asta's best friend: Noelle Silva, although she seemed conceited at times, she was a kind and empathetic good person.
As Sekke tried to get up, Noelle approached Asta.
"Hey Bakasta, are you okay?" Noelle asked Asta.
"Yes, thank you very much Noelle." Asta said smiling.
"Don't thank me for saving that fool, you would have ripped him to pieces in seconds." Noelle said as she and Asta started walking together.
"I don't think so, I promised my brother that I wouldn't do anything problematic." Asta replied to Noelle.
"Well, I guess that's understandable, but you have to defend yourself when necessary." Noelle said to Asta.
"I know that, but I don't want to cause trouble for my brother or my mom." Asta said.
"Okay... But remember that if you need something you can count on me for anything." Noelle said with a bit of concern for her friend.
"Thanks Noelle and the same goes for you, if you need me let me know." Asta said with a cheerful tone.
It was quite nice to be in each other's company for both of them, as they both got along very well.
Almost finishing classes Liebe went to tell Asta that he would return home before him when the bell rang and asked if he had plans with any of his friends to which Asta replied that he would ask if any of his friends would be free to go somewhere fun.
After school Asta was going to go back to his house since all his friends had different plans, so he went down the road a little frustrated for not being able to be with any of his friends, he couldn't even be with Noelle, since her brothers picked her up right away when she got out of school.
While deep in thought, Asta accidentally ran into a friend he hadn't seen all day.
He was a tall young man with black hair and yellow eyes who wore a black sweater, red pants and light brown shoes and around his neck he wore a necklace with a golden chain and a blue stone that had a white cross in the center.
This was Yuno Grinberryall, he was quite conceited and didn't like to talk much or socialize but he was a good guy as far as he could be, Asta considered him his rival since they both had an almost similar level in their averages with Yuno taking the lead at times.
"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey! Yuno! I'm here!" Asta yelled to get Yuno's attention.
"Oh hello Asta." Yuno said with a rather bored face.
"Hey hey Do you have plans for today? I was thinking we could..." Asta said with a lot of excitement until Yuno interrupted him.
"I'm sorry, but I do have plans." Yuno said dryly.
"So what are those plans?" Asta asked quite curiously.
"Private classes with Dr. Zogratis." Yuno said still looking bored.
"Oh... Well that sounds very busy." Asta said.
"If indeed it is... Anyway if it helps me improve my grades I'm not going to complain." Yuno said with a rather tired tone.
"Well... If you ever have time, feel free to..." Asta said until he saw that Yuno was gone.
Seeing that it was getting late and that none of his friends were available, Asta returned home a little depressed.
Already in his house Asta, Licita and Liebe were at the table having dinner and talking about their day.
"The work was very exhausting today, at least they paid me well so we won't have to worry about food, bills or tuition for a while." said Licita to her children.
"I wish we could help you more with the money issue." Liebe said.
"Don't worry about it Liebe, you and Asta already do too much being good students." Licita said to encourage her son.
Listening to his mother and brother's conversation, Asta reflected on his family's economic position and hoped that when he graduated from university in a few years he could help his mother earn some extra money.
"And how was your day Asta?" Licita asked to Asta.
"I did very well at school, unfortunately today I couldn't go out with any of my friends." Asta told his mother.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that but don't worry, maybe one of them will be free for the weekend." Licita said to Asta.
"Don't worry mom, like I said in the morning I'm more comfortable here at home with you and Liebe." Asta said with a tone of happiness.
"I'm glad to see you so positive about everything, but try to spend more time with your friends, I don't want you to be sad for feeling lonely." Licita said.
Asta simply smiled at his mother's words.
A while later in his room Asta was exercising his body, since he was little he has done it so as not to have problems defending himself and he liked doing it a lot, today his body has strengthened a lot.
"Ok, this will suffice for now." Asta said to himself seeing the breakthrough of his body.
Then Liebe entered the room.
"Well, tomorrow is the weekend. Do you have any plans for tomorrow?" Liebe asked.
"Honestly no, if you want we can go for a walk around the city you and me to see what we can do." Asta suggested.
"Maybe or also maybe I'll stay here at home with mom." Liebe said as he lay down on his bed.
"I guess I'll have to walk alone." Asta said.
"Can't you ask that Yuno guy to accompany you? Or Noelle?" Liebe asked.
"Surely Yuno will be with his private classes with the Zogratis brothers." Asta sighed a bit tired.
"And what about Noelle or the rest of your friends?" Liebe asked with almost no curiosity.
"Everyone has plans to go with family, go on errands, things to do, I don't know if anyone would cancel their things just to be with me." Asta said as he went to sleep.
"Meh... Don't let that affect you brother, I'm sure you'll have a good time." Liebe said as he began to close his eyes.
"I'll make sure to finish quickly, you know, so I can spend more time here with you and mom." Asta said as he also closed his eyes.
"Well, good night brother." Liebe said a second before going to sleep.
"Good night Liebe." Asta said before sleeping.
What young Asta Staria did not know is that tomorrow destiny would knock on his door and he would have to respond.
The next day Asta walks around the city a little bored until he bumps into a man he shouldn't have crossed paths with.
NEVER.
Asta accidentally bumped into a tall blonde man with short hair who had a purple mark in the shape of a six-pointed star on the left side of his forehead.
"Excuse me sir, I wasn't looking where..." Asta said before being interrupted.
"No, you excuse me young man." the mysterious man said.
The man had a kind and genuine smile, he began to approach Asta while maintaining the same smile.
"By the way, where were you going in such a hurry?" the man asked the protagonist.
"I wasn't really going anywhere, I was just walking aimlessly." Asta responded.
"Oh sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet, my name is Julius Novachrono." the man said introducing himself.
"I'm Asta Staria, nice to meet you sir." Asta said introducing himself.
"If you have nothing to do today, you can come with me to a scientific exhibition in the ZograTec building." Julius offered kindly.
ZograTec was the leading company in the world when it came to weapons, technological advances and chemistry, Asta had heard of them because Yuno was a pupil of the current bosses of the company.
"I do not know..." Asta said with many doubts.
"Come on, I insist." Julius said.
"I'm very sorry sir, it will be another time." Asta said unsure, his instinct told him not to go.
"It's a shame, anyway it was a pleasure to meet you young man." Julius said walking out.
To be honest, Asta would have liked to go since he found it very interesting, but going gave him a bad feeling.
Before he left the place, Asta managed to see someone he knew, she was a very pretty and slender girl, she was slightly shorter than him, she had red eyes, short dark bluish hair with two protruding strands, She was dressed in a lab coat, a black dress with straps and a short skirt of the same color that showed off her beautiful legs and on her feet she wore short black shoes.
She was a friend of him from school: Secre Swallowtail or "Nero" as they affectionately called her.
"Hey Nero! I'm here! It's me, Asta!" Asta shouted as he approached his friend.
"Oh, hello Asta, I didn't expect to see you here." Nero said when she saw her friend.
"I was just passing through and I ended up talking to that weird old man. And what are you doing here?" Asta said.
"I'm doing an internship at ZograTec, it's quite interesting what you can learn there." Nero said to Asta.
"It seems like you're doing well there, but do you have any plans for today?" Asta asked.
"I'm sorry but my day is busy, I'll be staying late." Nero said.
"I understand... anyway, I don't mean to bother you." Asta said a little disappointed.
"No no no, don't worry... but if you don't have plans, you could come to the scientific exhibition that will be in the building." Nero suggested to Asta.
"That crazy old man offered me the same thing a moment ago, it seemed a little boring but if you're going to be there I think I could go." Asta said smiling.
"Are you going alone because I'm going too?" Nero asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well yes, I was looking for a friend to hang out with after all." Asta said with a big smile.
"Anyway, we better hurry up." Nero said as she smiled back at Asta.
Little did Asta know that going towards that building would change his life forever, both for better and worse.
The couple arrived at the ZograTec building where a scientific exhibition was being held where they were demonstrating their great tectological and scientific advances, in addition to being able to reach agreements with large financial partners.
"This company was founded 50 years ago by the Zogratis family in the city of Spade, 20 years ago a second branch was founded here in Clover." said a presenter to those who were there.
"Come to think of it Yuno also comes from Spade." Asta thought upon hearing that information, he remembered that a few years ago when he met Yuno, he and his parents had come from Spade.
"And at this moment the current director of ZograTec is with us: Mr. Lucius Zogratis." the host said to the audience, then a tall man with a striking physical resemblance to Julius appeared on stage, except that he had deep black hair and a black sun-shaped symbol on the right side of his forehead.
"It is a great pleasure to have you all today." Lucius told the audience with a suspicious smile.
Behind Lucius was a pile of weapons and devices that seemed to be made of very advanced technology which he was showing to the public.
"Since we were very young, my brothers and I have been working hard to make this city and the rest of the world a better place for humanity, creating various weapons for the defense and protection of our nation and with other projects that will help humans be better, such as mechanical prostheses and medicines for the most horrible diseases." Lucius explained.
"Wow, those things look very expensive." Asta thought in amazement.
"However, we need more and better investors to finance our future work and research." Lucius said as he walked off the stage.
Asta started looking for something more interesting than Lucius talking and then by chance he saw Julius next to a strange machine.
"Well well, it's young Asta." Julius said.
"Hey, what are you doing here old man?" Asta asked Julius.
"I have come to demonstrate this energy machine but... What are you doing here?" Julius said to Asta.
"Oh, I came with a friend of mine, she works here." Asta explained.
"Like you old man… he must also work here." Asta thought as he saw Julius working on that strange machine.
"I understand... Did you just come for her or are you interested in something else?" Julius asked.
"In fact yes, at this moment I haven't seen anything really interesting if I'm honest." Asta said.
"It's a shame to hear young man, but I think what I'm working on might catch your attention." Julius said showing his machine to Asta.
Meanwhile on the upper floors of the ZograTec building, the head researchers who were Lucius' younger brothers were examining the experiments they were doing.
"The parameters are within the allowed limit, the composition is stable, the compounds are compatible with each other, the formula is ready." the first brother: Dante Zogratis said with a superb and evil smile.
Dante was a fairly tall and thin man who had a small beard and a mustache on his face, on his forehead he had a black vertical line with several pointed lines.
"The subject is ready to receive a dose of the new ZT formula, safety measures are active, and the container is completely secure." the third brother: Zenon Zogratis said with a cold tone.
Zenon was a man with short black hair who had a cross-shaped mark on the left side of his forehead.
"Experiment 0256, test subject: the arachnid subject number 00, objective: perfect the new ZT formula based on its genetics." the second sister: Vanica Zogratis said with an evil and bold smile.
Vanica was a young and slender woman who had short hair, and also had a black mark in the shape of a circle around her right eye.
Vanica had in her hands a glass container that inside had a large spider with the number "00" engraved on the back.
Zenon opened the container and injected a bright green substance into the spider and quickly closed it again to prevent it from escaping.
"This new variant of our brother Lucius's ZT formula is going to be a success, it has been showing several positive reactions in living beings in recent weeks, especially in spiders." Zenon said.
"Spiders, those disgusting and useless insects do nothing but repudiate and disgust me, but it is incredible that even creatures as repulsive as these are useful for our purposes." Dante said.
"You know what? This playing with spiders would be faster and easier if the useless Julius helped us instead of wasting time with his toy." Vanica said.
"No need to worry about that weak-minded idiot, we and our brother Lucius are capable of perfecting the formula ourselves." Zenon said.
"We will have to save a little of the formula for future experiments." Dante said.
"If the experiments on this disgusting insect work, Lucius will allow us to conduct tests on humans!" Vanica exclaimed with great emotion.
Unknown to the brothers, the spider managed to knock the container from inside and began to fall into a ventilation duct from too high to the lower floors of the building, enough to break the container.
Back at the exhibition, the spider snuck through the walls to escape the building and just then passed by Julius' machine where Asta was.
Julius had explained to Asta that his machine's purpose is to generate a new type of self-sustainable energy capable of powering the city and possibly the rest of the world for generations to reduce pollution.
While that sounds pretty good now, there was a slight problem.
His machine was generating a lot of radiation at this time.
"I don't know much about this topic old man, but maybe I should lower the power to reduce the danger." Asta said.
"I think you should control the energy better to get closer to a more satisfactory result." Julius said.
While they were both talking, they did not notice that spider 00 was walking through the machine and due to the enormous amounts of radiation that was there, the ZT formula that had been injected into it underwent quite large changes.
The Zogratis brothers did not know it, but their formula was not yet complete and the radiation created by Julius' machine was the last step to perfect it.
There was only one flaw with this, it was that the machine's radiation was killing the spider and with it the progress of their research.
Then, for better or worse, the spider with its last strength approached the closest living being, which was none other than Asta.
While Asta was distracted the spider climbed through until it reached his hand without him seeing it.
Asta didn't know it, but the universe chose him to do something that he could never have imagined.
"Agggghhhh!" Asta shouted the second the spider bit him.
"Oh young man, are you okay?" Julius asked surprised.
"Yes... that... I think... it hurt me a lot." Asta said very hurt.
Just at that moment Asta's DNA began to undergo several drastic and strong changes which we will talk about later.
"I think you should go to the hospital if you ask me, a spider bite is a dangerous thing." Julius said.
"Yes... I think so..." Asta tried to say but his hand hurt a lot.
Asta started to leave the building, but then Nero saw him and approached him.
"Asta? What happened? Are you OK?" Nero asked worried.
"Y-yes... calm down Nero, I'm fine." Asta said in a futile attempt to hide his pain.
Asta, with the little strength he had left, left the place in a hurry and Nero tried to follow him.
"Asta, wait! Aggghhh!" Nero said before felt intense pain in her hand.
Nero turned her gaze to her hand and saw the corpse of spider 00.
Meanwhile with Asta, he was walking through the streets towards his house quite dizzy and in pain, his internal thoughts were not helping him either.
"Great, mom doesn't have money for all the bills, a trip to the hospital for a spider bite is the last thing she needs, this will only hurt her and my brother." Asta thought quite frustrated.
In that second Asta felt a fairly strong pang that was intensifying with each passing second, but he also felt that something in his mind was warning him something.
Warned him that he should...
"JUUUUMMP!" Asta said to himself jumping over a car that was about to hit him.
Asta saw and realized that he had just jumped at least 3 meters high.
"What the h...? Ahhh!" Asta said until he realized he was stuck to the wall.
When he tried to get away he noticed that he was moving as easily as if he were walking and he also noticed how quickly he got to the top of the wall where he was.
When he reached the top in a few seconds he saw a steel tube and tried to hold on to it to climb, but to his surprise he ended up crushing it with his own hands as if it were a sheet of paper.
Surprised by what just happened, Asta quickly notices a light cable and tries to take it to go down and sees that he went down through it with great ease both to maintain his balance and to move.
"What is going on with me?" he asked himself as he reached the ground.
Asta began to remember what he had done up until that moment and thought about the spider that has just bitten him.
In some miraculous way, the spider's bite instead of killing him or turning him into some kind of monster had given him spider-related super powers.
"The old man's machine must have done something to that spider and somehow it ended up transferring its power to me." Asta deduced (obviously not knowing the Zogratis were involved or the ZT formula).
Asta was still trying to assimilate what was happening and it occurred to him what any reasonable person would think of in his place.
"I must tell someone!" Asta thought as he went straight to his house.
Once he was at his house, Asta was about to tell him what had happened to his family but he saw his mother having a phone call.
"Mom, is something wrong?" Asta asked worriedly.
"It's nothing Asta, just a few payments to make." Licita said so as not to worry her son.
"It's nothing serious, right?" Asta asked unsure.
"You don't have to worry, now go call your brother so we can make lunch." Licita said to Asta.
As soon as his mother was distracted, Asta took some papers that Licita had left on the table and saw that it was something serious.
"These bills must be paid in a few days or they will throw the three of us out of the house and Mom was only paid yesterday so she doesn't have enough money right now." Asta thought worriedly.
Asta was pretty sure that his mother was asking for a loan over the phone and he knew that would only make the situation worse since it would give them more debts in the future.
Very worried about his family, Asta began to look for how to earn enough money to pay the last debts in a short time, they still couldn't hire him for anything, there were no part-time jobs that paid well and stealing was out of the question.
But then he saw an advertisement, it said that if someone defeated a certain Crusher Hogan in a wrestling ring that night they would be given 10,000 dollars, more than enough to pay the debts.
That guy was bald, quite tall and muscular.
Then he decided not to tell his family about his powers yet so as not to cause more problems than they already had and later he saw his hand where the spider had bitten him.
"I think it's time to use this incredible ability that fate has given me for something good." Asta thought to himself before going to get his brother to make lunch.
After eating, Asta quickly went up to his room to look for something to wear that night for the fight since it was mandatory to wear a costume, after a while of looking for things to improvise a costume, he found an old black sweater that probably belonged to Liebe or his deceased father and a blue mask with white eyes with red details on the edges of the eyes.
So that his improvised suit didn't look so basic, he took an old can of gold paint, cut out the shape of a spider on paper and used it to paint the sweater, leaving a gold spider in the center.
His suit was ready and now all that remains is to earn the money and save his family.
"Tonight, we have a challenger who is brave enough or foolish enough to challenge Crusher Hogan to win an incredible $10,000." an announcer said as Asta entered the ring.
"I'm sorry, but I absolutely need that money." Asta said.
"Ha ha, do you have any manners, little boy? They will be of no use to you once I am done with you." said Crusher Hogan getting into a fighting position.
Crusher launches himself at Asta, but manages to dodge it without much difficulty.
After that Asta takes Crusher and begins to climb to the top of the roof.
"Yeah! I'm doing it!" Asta said loudly while still holding Crusher.
"Put me down! You win! YOU WIN!" Crusher said scared by the height.
"Excellent! Now I just collect the money and give it to mom." Asta said as he left.
After receiving his pay Asta was going home but a strange guy intercepted him.
"Hey kid, I'm a television producer! With those skills of yours I assure you that you will earn a fortune if you sign with me!" the guy said.
"Oh thanks." Asta said.
"Oh! Also continue with a mask, that way it's more spectacular, just get a better suit." The guy said as he gave his business card to Asta.
After that Asta returned home and left the money next to his mother's bed, the next day he, his brother and his mother was quite relieved and happy to have been able to pay the missing debts.
Asta saw the business card and thought about accepting that guy's offer, but first he would need a new suit.
A few days later Asta was at his friend Vanessa Enoteca house to ask her a favor.
"Vanessa-neesan, I need you to make me a suit." Asta said.
"Wow boy, I didn't know you liked to dress up." Vanessa said.
Vanessa was a tall woman with wavy pink hair who was quite physically attractive, she was wearing a tight pink sweater, a mini skirt of the same color, and black heels.
"It's not for me, it's for... a friend of mine." Asta said while trying to lie.
He was pretty bad at lying.
"Oh, okay, so what's this suit going to be like?" Vanessa asked.
"It would be something with a spider, tight and nothing noticeable under the suit, please." Asta said.
"Very good, I think I have an idea of what you want, wait a little, it will be ready in the afternoon." Vanessa said smiling.
"Thank you Vanessa-neesan." Asta said bowing.
"No problem boy." Vanessa said with a wink.
While he waited, Asta began to test his new powers in greater depth.
Now he could stick to walls and any other surface with the tips of his fingers, he was more agile and physically skilled than any Olympic athlete, his physical strength had increased very abruptly, his physical reflexes were very high and apparently, now he could foresee danger that was approaching him.
After a bit of waiting, Asta returns to see how his suit turned out, which Vanessa showed him finished.
His suit was composed of completely red boots with black and gold soles on the top, tight black leggings, the upper part was red with a black fabric pattern in the shape of a spider web, gold details on the shoulders, torso and waist, part under the armpits and on the back was black with a huge red spider in the center of the back, black gloves with red fingers following the spider web pattern in the center and with gold on the lower parts, a mask also with the spider web pattern, had huge white eyes with a black outline that looked like bug eyes and in the center of the suit was the logo of a black spider with a gold outline.
"Wow, it looks incredible." Asta said excitedly.
"Also, I took the liberty of making you a nice accessory, I'm pretty sure your friend can't make webs like... you know a spider." Vanessa said as she showed Asta some black bracelets.
"What are those?" Asta asked.
"This device is used to shoot a fairly resistant thread that has a fairly hard glue that sticks to any surface, you can take it as a kind of spider web." Vanessa explained.
"Great, I think it will be very useful to my friend." Asta said.
"I'm pretty sure of that, now go give that suit to that guy and tell him I was happy to make it for him." Vanessa said.
"Yeah! Thank you very much Vanessa-neesan, I owe you one." Asta said with much gratitude.
After Vanessa gave Asta a paper that had instructions for making the thread, he quickly returned home and headed to his room to try on his new suit.
It fit perfectly.
Now all that was missing was a name to use.
"The masked man! No better... Climber! Or maybe... Super bug!" Asta thought trying to choose his name.
As you can see he's not very good at it (at least not yet).
At that moment an idea crossed his mind.
"Spider-Man, it sounds pretty good, it's basic but it sounds good, now I'm Spider-Man." Asta thought, finally deciding on his name.
Now all that was left was to call the guy on television, succeed in show business and for him and his family to live happily without worrying about anything for the rest of their lives.
"Watch out world, here comes Spider-Man!" Asta said as he went to call the TV producer.
Although the world may mock Asta Staria, the teenager from the slums... It will soon be amazed by the formidable power of Spider-Man!
A week later, Asta with his Spider-Man suit makes his debut on television and it is a resounding success, all the spectators both within the recording forum and the viewers are amazed by the things he can do which they do not have any type of help of the camera.
In a few hours it becomes a trend on social networks and thousands of people through different media will document it.
Hundreds of representatives want Spider-Man to appear in all kinds of movies, series and commercials.
Several influencers upload photos of Spider-Man to their social webs which receive many views.
At the end of his first TV show, Asta Staria inhales the first sweet scents of fame and success.
After receiving a very good payment for the show, Asta decides to go home but suddenly he hears a man screaming.
"STOP! STOP THAT THIEF! IF HE REACHES THE ELEVATOR HE WILL ESCAPE!" a security guard who was chasing a thief shouted.
Asta quickly shoots his web at the thief's foot and pulls it hard to make him trip.
The thief falls and Asta uses his webs to wrap him up and prevent him from moving.
"Ugh... Thank you very much young man, I almost missed it." the security guard said relieved.
"No problem sir, this guy was stealing from you." Asta said as he handed the thief to the guard.
Asta felt better than ever, not only was he now special but he was also helping his family get money.
That reminded Asta that he still hadn't told his mom or his brother about his powers.
After that Asta returned home and secretly left the money he had earned inside the house's savings and went to see his mother and brother.
"Hey Asta, where were you?" Liebe asked.
"Oh, I was... studying." Asta said trying to lie.
"You should have warned me, we were starting to worry." Licita said.
"Oh... mmm... I'm so sorry mom, I didn't want to worry you." Asta said embarrassed.
"It's okay if you arrive late, but let me know first so this doesn't happen." Licita said.
"Yes... I understand, I won't do it again mom, forgive me." Asta said with his head lowered.
"Well, I'm not mad at you Asta, I'm just worried, don't be so hard on yourself." Licita said to calm her son.
The three of them sat down to have dinner, they were talking about how well things had been going for them recently and that they could finally relax from all the debts they had, although Asta was happy that his mother and brother were not suffering, he was still scared talk about his powers or where he got the money from.
After that, they saw a worrying advertisement on television.
"A man has been reported carrying out multiple robberies, assaults and murders in the Hage neighborhood lately, residents are advised not to go out at night and lock their doors and windows.If you see this man, leave immediately and call the authorities." the newscast said.
The criminal looks middle-aged, is brown, thin and has a medium beard.
"I hope he never shows up at the house." Liebe said.
"Me too." Asta and Licita said at the same time.
"I hope he is arrested soon before something bad happens to us." Licita said.
After a while the three of them went to their rooms to sleep.
Asta decided that tomorrow he was going to give up on the whole television thing to avoid worrying his family, in hindsight he hadn't thought this through in the first place.
That same night at ZograTec, Lucius and his brothers were talking about the ZT formula.
"So the spider subject number 00 escaped, with our most advanced version of the ZT formula inside." Lucius said frustrated.
"That's right, but don't worry Lucius, we still have many samples of the most recent version formula here." Dante said.
"There's no point worrying about a stupid insect." Vanica said.
"We can't leave any loose ends, Zenon I have a job for you, search the entire building for that spider, watch the security recordings from the last few weeks and find out where it is." Lucius ordered.
"Yes brother, I will do it." Zenon said.
"Dante, Vanica, you must continue looking for a way to perfect the formula, use everything we have at our disposal." Lucius said to his brothers.
"To the order." Vanica said.
Meanwhile in Nero's bachelorette apartment.
She was analyzing the corpse of spider 00 that she had in a jar.
She saw that her genes were quite modified, it was a miracle that it didn't kill her when he bit her.
She was also analyzing the skills she had obtained when she was bitten by the spider.
In short, she had gained the same powers as Asta, just on a slightly larger scale.
"Very well spider, let's see what you really are." Nero said continuing her investigation.
The next day Asta was returning home after having resigned from his television contract and found a terrifying image.
His house was surrounded by police patrols.
Asta quickly ran home to see what had happened.
"Mother! Brother!" Asta shouted scared.
"Stop right there young man." a police officer said.
"This is my home! Where are my mom and my brother!? They are well!?" Asta said desperately.
"They are fine, an armed robber broke into your house and tried to assault your mother, but another young man defended her and... they shot him instead." the policeman said.
"It wasn't my brother who got shot, right!?" Asta asked desperately.
"No, it was him." the police officer said while pointing at the victim.
Asta couldn't believe who the criminal's victim was, it was his school friend Yuno Grinberryall, who was now dead.
"Oh no...Yuno." Asta said in shock.
"Don't worry, we have the thief surrounded, he is in the abandoned warehouse on the dock, we will catch him." the policeman said.
"Ok, thank you very much officer. Where are my mother and my brother?" Asta asked.
"Don't worry about them, they are safe at a neighbor's house." the policeman said.
After making sure his family was safe, Asta took his Spider-Man suit out of his backpack and went to the docks to help the police catch his friend's killer.
Using his webs to swing, Asta quickly reaches the dock and finds the thief inside.
"W-who's there?" the scared thief asked.
"Your worst nightmare, you idiot." Asta said appearing behind the criminal.
Asta then grabs the thief by the hair and smashes him against the warehouse windows with great force.
The thief takes out a gun to defend himself but Asta uses his web to take it away.
After that Asta begins to hit the thief in the face several times violently.
"P-please don't hurt me anymore, I-I'm begging you." the thief said, very scared and crying.
"You broke into my house, threatened my mother and killed my friend Yuno, you are going to pay as soon as the police arrive and I will make sure of that." Asta said before continuing to hit him.
After a while the police arrived and found the thief badly beaten and tied with cobwebs from the wall, in the end they arrested him.
Asta returned to his mother and brother quickly and was very relieved to see them safe and well.
"Mom, forgive me for not being there when that thief broke into the house, I'm so glad you and Liebe are okay." Asta said crying while hugging his mother.
"Don't worry Asta, nothing happened to us, it wasn't your fault." Licita said as she hugged her son.
Asta watched as an ambulance took away Yuno's body and thought about the pain his parents would feel when they saw that their son had died.
If he had been at his house he could have saved him and his mother without the need for Yuno to die.
In some way he was responsible for what happened.
The Staria family attended Yuno's funeral, as a sign of respect for having protected Licita, there Asta could see Yuno's mother crying inconsolably and him father on his knees crying.
He could have saved them this suffering if he had been at home to save Yuno, if he had done his parents wouldn't be crying over his death.
That made Asta learn a valuable lesson: with great power comes great responsibility.
When they returned to the house, Asta saw his Spider-Man suit and began to reflect.
"Now, I'm going to do things correctly." Asta thought to himself as he made a decision.
The decision he made was to use these powers that destiny gave him for the common good.
It was time for someone to make things right.

One night Noelle Silva was walking through the streets before being assaulted by a group of thieves.
"Very well precious, give us everything you have now." thief 1 said.
"You better listen to him or you'll end up stabbed honey." thief 2 said.
"Now, give us all your stuff brat." thief 3 said.
"Force me group of idiots." Noelle said with determination.
During the day an assailant threatens the owner of a store.
"P-please, that's all I have." the scared store owner said as the assailant threatened him.
"Well it's not enough, give me more now." the assailant said pointing a gun.
During the afternoon a car with a family inside is out of control.
"It can't be stopped! And the brakes don't work either!" the scared father shouted.
"Please someone help us!" the mother shouted.
"Mommy, I don't want to die..." the little girl said as she cried.
And in all these scenarios, a hero appears.
"Hey, losers, didn't they teach you that you have to respect ladies?" Spider-Man said to the robbers attacking Noelle.
"What!? And who the hell kn...?" thief 2 said before Spider-Man threw a web at him mouth.
"Hey, first of all, leave the lady alone and all I'll do is call the police." Spider-Man offered.
"Hey crazy, the gentleman already told you to leave him alone, do it and you won't end up hanging from the ceiling until the police come looking for you." Spider-Man said to the raider.
"Shut up nosy." The assailant said, pointing his gun at Spider-Man only for the hero to take it away with his web in the next second.
"Don't worry citizens, your superhero has come to the rescue." Spider-Man said to the family trapped in the car.
The hero quickly shoots his web between two light poles to catch the car and save the family and he succeeds.
The group of thieves did not pay attention to Spider-Man, so he defeated them with great ease. After this, he goes to see how Noelle is.
"Are you okay miss?" Spider-Man asked.
"Ahh... yeah but... that was amazing." Noelle said amazed by what she had just seen.
"What can I say? This is how I do it." Spider-Man said to Noelle.
Spider-Man, just as he told the store robber, ended up hanging him from the ceiling until the police arrived for him.
"Thank you very much young man, I am very grateful." the store owner said.
"Don't worry gentleman, I just did what anyone would do." Spider-Man said.
After stopping the car with his web, Spider-Man helps the family get down from there.
"Thank you very much for saving us sir." the little girl said hugging the hero.
"I am very grateful to you for saving my daughter and my husband." the mother said.
"Don't worry ma'am, it's part of the job." Spider-Man said to the mother.
In all three scenarios the hero is about to leave until something interrupts him.
"Wait, who are you?" the father, the store owner and Noelle ask at the same time.
The hero smiles under his mask and the three of them tell them the same answer.
"That's easy, you already know who I am, your friendly neighbor: The Amazing Spider-Man." the hero said before shooting a spider web and swinging away from there.
On top of a building, while watching the sunset, Asta takes off his mask.
"I will never forget that I could have saved you and that I could have prevented your parents from suffering, but from now on I will not let anyone else go through that pain." Asta said putting his mask on his chest.
Then Asta points his mask at the sun.
"This is for you Yuno Grinberryall, I am going to use these powers that destiny has given me to help people, to prevent other parents from losing their children, so that no one is separated from their friends, I swear." Asta said with all the courage in his being.
And so with the birth of a new legend and a new name on the list of those who make the world of fantasy more epic and exciting we end the first chapter in the history of the Friendly, Spectacular, Amazing, Ultimate... Asta Staria: The Amazing Spider-Clover.
