    Shadow is a thesis-bound TA with no time for distractions. Especially not the loud-mouthed, track star scholarship student who can't seem to string a proper sentence together. But irritation doesn't explain the way Sonic's laugh lingers in his chest, or how Tuesday nights have started to mean something.

    They were never supposed to get close.
    But sometimes, falling behind leads to falling together.
    And that’s a philosophy all its own.
