Chapter Text

Ace, got up from his place next to Sanji in his bed.

“I gotta go piss brb.” Ace places a kiss on Sanji’s lips, before heading to the bathroom. 

After he exits the bathroom, he hears a noise from Sabo’s room. He walks over and knocks. 

No answer. So Ace shrugs and opens the door, Sabo must’ve forgotten his phone. Quite the opposite. Ace opens the door, to see his brothers tongue in another person’s mouth. That person just so happened to be his “sworn enemy,” Trafalgar D. Water Law. Ace’s jaw drops open and stares at them. They don’t stop, they actually get more intense. Sabo pushes Law against the bed, still kissing him. Sabo starts to unbutton Law’s shirt, before Ace finally unfreezes and clears his throat loudly. Sabo pulls himself off of Law, who had now also opened his eyes. 

“How long have you been there?” Sabo asks, eyes wide.

“Long enough… Are you two dating?”

“Uhm…” Sabo turns to Law, silently asking if he can tell the truth. Law just sighs and 

turns her head to look at Ace dead in the eyes, with her piercing souless gray eyes.

“Yeah. We are, the whole enemies thing is a lie.” Law mumbles.

Ace’s eyes widen and he runs into his room, looking at Sanji, watery eyed.

“YOU AREN’T CHEATING ON ME WITH ZORO, ARE YOU?!”

“Absolutely not! Why would you think that?” Sanji stares at Ace,

bewildered.

“Be-because i just walked in on Law and-and Sabo, making-out. and they said they’re 

dating, and not enemies. And you and Zoro, are enemies…” Ace sniffled.

“No! We’re just friends. Nothing more, my little flame.” Sanji pulls Ace, into a big hug, 

kissing him, “I promise.”

“Okay…” Ace sighs, kissing back, laying his head on Sanji’s lap.

“I’m glad we all live so close. I mean, you and Zoro are 

roomates. And me, Luffy and Sabo are roomates.” Sanji laughs.

“Yeah… Law’s the only member that doesn’t live with any of us.”

“Well, He’ll be asking to move in. If it means he’ll live next door to his partner.” Sanji smiles down at Ace, running his fingers through his hair. Ace sighs happily, if he was a cat he’d be purring. 

“Firework?” Ace looks up at him, his big amber eyes were like a campfire. Sanji let’s out a sigh, Ace wanted something from him, that was the only reason he’d use a more personalized pet name.

“Yes, Ace?” Sanji sighs.

“Can you make me a snack pleaseeee.” Ace whines, bringing out his puppy eyes. Sanji couldn’t resist those eyes.

“Fine. Only because I love you.” Gets up and heads to the kitchen.

“YAY!” Ace follows Sanji to the kitchen, wrapping his arms around Sanji’s waist as he makes him popcorn. Luffy walks out of his room at the smell of popcorn. A very tired shirtless Zoro follows behind him.

“Luffy, come back to bed. I thought we were gonna cuddle.” Zoro 

mutters.

“Yeah, yeah. After I eat.” Luffy replies, walking over to Sanji, liking his 

lips.

“Hey! This isn’t for you. It’s for your equally bottomless pit of a brother.” Sanji slaps Luffy’s hand, as he reaches for a peice of popcorn.

“Just one piece!”

“No! This is for Ace! Not you!” Sanji shouts. Luffy frowns as his hand is swatted, again.

“Luf. I’ll get you a snack if you leave Curlybrows alone.” Zoro walks over and picks Luffy over and outs him on his bed, then walks back to the kitchen grabs chips and give sit to Luffy, and shut the door.

“Finally, peace.” Sanji pours the popcorn into a bowl and seasons it, before handing it to Ace. Ace devours the popcorn then mid bite falls asleep, and his head falls into the bowl. Sanji starts laughing really hard, which causes Ace to wake up from his narocleptic slumber, dazed.

“Shut up, firework.” Ace frowns at Sanji. Before finishing the popcorn, and putting 

the bowl in the sink. Ace holds Sanji’s hand and leads him back to the bedroom. They lay on the bed and cuddle. Ace starts peppering Sanji’s face in kisses, causing Sanji to laugh.

“Mmm, I love you and our chaotic family.” Ace smiles, placing one final kiss on Sanji’s lips.

“Love you too.”

Ace walked into work, a piercing and tattoo shop at the mall, tired. It and Sanji had stayed up late…doing things. Ace was holding a coffee in one hand, and his phone in the other, one handed texting Sanji, to let him know he had arrived at work. The day was slow, but eventually an interesting customer walked in. Eustass D Kidd, walks over to Ace’s desk.

“I want a tattoo.” Kidd’s Scottish accent was thick and obvious, he practically growled when he spoke.

“Okay, well… what do you want?” Ace grinned. Kidd pulled out his 

phone, pulling up a picture of a small black cat, obviously Kidd’s kitten.

“Her, below my knee” ( bologna )

“Alright, I’ll lead you to the back, where one of my coworkers can help you.” Ace was still being trained to be a tattoo artist, he only 

knew how to pierce. Ace led Kidd to Marco’s station, then walked back to the desk. Ace had almost fallen asleep, when he jolted awake at the sound of the doorbell. It was Sanji, he walked over to the counter.

“Hey, Ace. I forgot you worked here!” She had not. Ace smiles at her. Sitting up and looking her in the eye.

“So what are you gonna get done?” Sanji already had a few tattoos, one on her upper thigh, one on the back of her neck, and one on each wrist, so Ace expected another one.

“I want a piercing on my tongue.” Sanji grins, and grins at Ace. Leaning in closer to Ace and whispering, “I’d also like to request a certain piercer. You.”

“A-Alright, ma’am.” Ace flusteredly responds. He leads Sanji back to his station. Ace grabs his piercing set, and sits next to Sanji.

“One last request.” Sanji purrs.

“Yeah?” Ace looks up setting the kit on the small side table, next to the piercing bed.

“I’d like a kiss.” Sanji leans over, and places a kiss on Ace’s lips. The kiss slowly becomes heated, with Ace slipping his tongue in, only pulling away when he hears a shout from the door. It was Duece, Ace’s ex and best friend.

“Ace! Are you seriously cheating on your gf right now?! With a customer?!" Deuce accuses, pointing a finger at Ace, and then Sanji.

“Deuce! Chill! This is my girlfriend.” Ace explains. Sanji nods her head in agreement. Deuce looks surprised.

“Really? I expected someone less… proper,” He gestures to Sanji’s suit. “Anyways, that’s not why I came here. I ran out of flat-back piercings. Can I borrow some?” Ace rolls his eyes but starts digging in his drawer, before handing Deuce the flat-backs.

“Now go, I was in the middle of something.” Ace pushes Deuce out of the room, shutting the door behind him. He then sits back down, next to Sanji.

“Where did we leave off, firework?” Ace grins and leans in to kiss Sanji again. The kiss eventually ends when Ace pulls away.

“We won’t be able to kiss for a while. While your tongue heals.” Ace wipes his needle and sets up the piercing. Sanji frowns.

“Wait really?” He asks, rubbing Ace’s inner thigh, which caused him to shiver, and almost drop the needle.

“Mhm. Atleast, no making-out for the first week and a half.” Ace replies. Sanji’s frown deepens at this.

“Aw… worth it though.” Sanji mumbles, sitting back.

Later that day, when Ace arrived home, he immediately lays down on the floor next to the couch. He couldn’t lay on the couch because a certain sibling was sitting with their girlfriend, watching Ponyo.

“Ace? You okay?” Sabo asks, looking down at him. 

“I’m fine, Sabo. Just tired.” Ace sighs, rolling onto his back, 

“Work was so boring.” Law now leans over.

“Are you too tired, to go to your room and leave us the fuck alone.” She hissed. Sabo gasps.

“Law! Be nice!” Sabo frowns. Ace stands up.

“Yeah, yeah I’ll leave Mr. brooding emo.” Ace walks over to his bed and falls asleep on it. He wakes up a few hours later to the sound of the fire alarm. He jolts up and runs out to the kitchen where he sees Sabo, Law, and Zoro rushing to the door. 

Where the hell is Luffy?

“LUFFY WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!” Ace scrambles through the apartment looking for Luffy. He eventually checks his phone and sees a 30 minute old text saying     “Going to hang out with Usopp be back l8r”     from Luffy. Of course. Ace lets out a sigh of relief and then hears the fire alarm go off again, and runs down the stairs to outside where Sabo, Law and Zoro were. 

“Sorry, I didn’t realize Luffy wasn’t home.” Ace pants, his chest was on fire, and not in a fun way. Ace sits down on the concrete, not realizing he was still shirtless. Sanji runs over, after hearing the sounds of sirens.

“Is everyone okay?!” Sanji shouts worriedly. Her eyes then landed on 

Ace’s bare chest, and his nose began to bleed despite seeing him naked several times. 

“Better question… are you okay, princess?” Ace stands up, wrapping an arm around Sanji’s waist. Ace had his head cocked like a dog, it was the cutest fucking thing Sanji had ever seen. Sanji wiped her nose on the tissue she had in her pocket. 

“Yup. I’m fine darling, don't worry about me." Sanji smiles. She leans over and kisses Ace’s cheek. Ace smiles and rests his head on Sanji’s shoulder, holding his hand. A few hours later they were allowed to go back inside, some kid had fought with their parents and pulled the alarm. 

“I’m so glad everything's fine.” Sanji sighs in relief, as she and Ace walk towards her house. 

“It’s kinda dumb such a nice apartment has such a cheap alarm system. It didn’t even check to see if there was a fire, with the smoke detectors.” Ace mutters. 

“Babe. I don’t think they do that.” Sanji laughs.

“They don’t? Oh.” Ace was quiet the rest of the walk to Sanji’s house.
