Chapter Text

. We couldn't stop it. Solar was already dying. Moon was staring, trying not to cry though the tears were already threatening to spill from his optics.

— «"Nononono.. solar please you can't fucking leave us— „»

he begged. He cared so much for solar. He couldn't let him go right? He hugged him and buried his faceplate in solars chest. Crying his eyes out. Solars chest plate was damp with moons tears, he hugged him and tried to comfort him, with a small smile.

— «"It's okay moon.. don't get caught up on my death ok? I'm proud of you and sun.. ever so proud.. okay? „»

Moon didn't reply. He was too busy sobbing and his vocal box was too sore to speak, he couldn't let solar go. He cried and cried. Solar just hugged him. Moon tried to grab solars hand but it was already gone. He cried harder, he couldn't stop.

— «"Ruin.. why.. what was your fucking goal— TO KILL MY GODDAMN BROTHER FOR GODS SAKE! WHAT DID HE DO TO DESERVE THIS? SAY? FUCKING ANSWER ME! „»

Moon turned and shouted at ruin. Ruin just chuckled.

— «"The creator council. They needed to go. I did try save solar. I really did. „»

Moon just ignored him and hugged solar harder. Crying even more, he couldn't stop the tears, he could feel solar disappearing. Sun tied to approach but moon pushed him away. He was letting out gut wretching crying now. Solar was holding back his own tears while sun and ruin watched.

— «"Moon? Don't miss me too much."

He smiled. Such a sweet smile yet the moment was so fucking bitter. What did moon do to deserve this.. his brother.. dead.. what a shame. He couldn't help but cry more. Until eventually he felt nothing. He opens his eyes

— «"Solar..? No.. solar.. please your not fucking gone! SOLAR!! PLEASE— „»

he fell to the floor and cried even harder. His tears falling to the floor and making a puddle. He couldn't stop crying. He picked up his goggles and started sobbing even more. Sun tried to comfort him but he just ignored him and cried even harder. His own brother.. killed by someone he trusted...

— «" He's not gone.. right..? „»

months had passed since solars death.. moon had gone insane and changed his name to nexus or whatever, and they had brought the original moon back, solar was also back. Sun and moon were arguing yet again..

— «" it's really not a fucking surprise nexus left you sun. Your pathetic. A damn mistake. You never listen to anyone's goddamn advice! We're trying to help you but you push us away. Your no worse then your fucking creator. You'd be better off dead. „»

he said bluntly. Just staring at sun. No hint of sarcasm, just truth. It's funny how moon completely hates sun and has for years whereas sun has loved him for ages and would do anything for him. Pathetic. Suns loyal as a dog. Moon? A traitor. Where as sun just stared at him in shock. Moon walked up to sun and punched him right in the face. His faceplate cracking. Sun let out a quiet scream of pain, and shoved him away.

— «" .. I'm trying my fucking best. At least I didn't hit my own brother for stress relief! You treated me like a fucking animal with no mind! You acted like I didn't exist and had no rights! „»

sun replied. His voice shaking with held back tears and rage.

— «" Yeah? Because you acted like one. You followed me around like damn dog. It was pathetic. You need to grow a backbone „»

"GROW A BACKBONE? I FUCKING KILLED MY OWN BROTHER TWICE! I WATCHED ONE GO INSANE!"

sun shouted, tears now streaming down his face as he started to sob infront of moon, his tears dampening the floor as moon looked in disgust

— «" Your pathetic sun. You really fucking are. You're nothing but a tool to anyone. „»

moon walked out. Sun was still sobbing on the floor and trying to regain his composure yet failing. Sun stayed crying on the floor. He slowly stood up. He walked out a bit after moon had left. Leaving the house and starting to walk down the street, the stars twinkling.

Chapter Text

. Another argument happened. It was worse this time. Moon got physical. He cracked sun's faceplate. Sun was currently walking down the road, stumbling, took awhile but he found a peaceful field. It was quiet, the stars were softly twinkling above him, he sighed and coughed up a bit of oil. Moon must have damaged his internal systems..

He walks onto the field and into the forest. Looking for somewhere silent. He comes across a small clearing, it was pretty. The sound of water rushing could be heard, a river or maybe a lake near by. He sits down on a rock,

— «" Why did this have to happen.. what did I do to you moon..? I've loved you.. I've tried too.. I love you so so much brother.. your no better then eclipse sometimes though.. „»

He mumbled quietly to himself. He didn't *want* to say it. Yet it was true. And goddamnit he hated that it was true. He loved moon dearly, he really did. Yet sometimes he couldn't help but admit he felt like moon was the spite image, or worse then the original eclipse. Sun sighed before hearing a voice behind him. Great.

— «" Aw, is poor little sunny boy crying again? „»

— «" Fuck off nexus.. im not in the mood for your games.. „»

— «" oh whatever. I just wanted to ask if you knew how pathetic you are? Crying over your brother who lacks empathy and love for you? „»

That hurt, felt like a punch to the face. Yet he ignored nexus again. It was painful.

— «" All your siblings end up leaving you eventually.. earth died, lunar died, solar died, moon died, and I! Left you. You deserve it. You're a good for nothing pathetic animatronic. You've never done anything good in your life, SunDrop. You're better off dead. „»

Sun fell silent at that.

— «" better off dead, huh? I'll show you just how useful I am when im dead, brother. „»

He says brother in a mocking way. Mocking himself or nexus, it wasn't clear. He looks at the hallucination nexus and walked past it. Walking to the lake he had heard earlier. It was large. Large enough to drown. Sun smiled. It wasn't a very happy smile, yet it wasn't sad either. It was more bitter sweet. He slowly walked to the lake. He walked to the edge.

— «" thanks for the advice nexus. I appreciate it. „»

He turned to nexus while saying that. He smiled one last time at the person he once trusted. Saw As a brother even. He smiled. Glad his brother was the last person he saw. He fell back and slowly sank.

The stars were shining, as if laughing at how pathetic sun was, they were pretty though reminded sun of when moon used to talk about the stars to him, the water was calm, too calm for this purpose especially. Sun smiled one last time. He hated his life. He was glad to die..

« But hell did he already miss his moon. »

Chapter Text

. Nexus watches with gleeful smile, trying to hold back his laughter. It took long enough for that to happen. he was glad this happened. He was glad sun drowned himself. Until he saw suns smile. He falters a little. Despite just being a hallucination.. or was he really a hallucination.? No— he was a hallucination. he was based off the real nexus. Was that regret he felt? No.. that's impossible right?

— «" took long enough for him to die. It should have happened long ago. I don't regret this. What am I even thinking. „»

He forces a smirk onto his face despite the fact he felt like he was being torn apart from the inside. Sadly however this wasn't a hallucination. It was nexus, he'd just convinced himself he was a hallucination.. he stared at the lake. Trying to convince himself he didn't regret it. He wanted sun dead.. right? No he didn't.. what did sun do wrong to him. He froze rigid. Staring at the water. He rushed closer and looked over the edge, looking for any sign of sun.

— «" Sun..? Nononono.. sun please your just joking right? You're still fucking there right! „»

He shouted into the lake. He knew it was pointless. His body was trembling with held back emotions. He fucking regretted it. He realized that now. He made his own brother commit. A singular tear rolled down his face. The first since solars death. He layed back onto the grass and stared at the night sky. The stars were slowly twinkling as if they were laughing at nexus. He quietly started crying to himself. The last breakdown he had sun was there to comfort him.

— «" what happened to me..? I promised id help him.. make him feel safe... „»

He said quietly as his sobbing progressively got worse. What if he also ended it? He could make amends with sun if he did. He smiled at the idea. He liked it. Plus he had no reason to live anymore himself, sun was the only sibling who loved him yet he pushed him to kill himself. He looked over the lake.

— «" Would he be disappointed in me.? „»

He whispers quietly, almost breathlessly. Tears rolled down his face faster, sniffling quietly. He thought sun hated him, yet he listened to his advice. He didn't want sun to be disappointed in him though.. he stared at the sky...

— «" oh. Now even the stars are showing the fucking irony. „»

He mused sarcastically, talking about the fact he could see the Gemini constellation right above him. Gemini, Latin for twins, nexus's twin was dead though. And soon nexus would be too. Nexus and sun will always follow after each other in someway.

— «" I'm sorry sun. You shouldn't have listened to me. „»

He turned over onto his side and stared across the grass. He saw suns jumper not too far away, seems he had taken it off. He sat up and walked to it. He put it on. It felt like sun. Still smelt like him too, that faint smell of bleach and cats.. nexus slightly smiled. Glad he had something of his brother's. He knelt down and looked over the lake. He smiled, sickeningly sweet. He's sorry. He'll always be sorry for what he caused his brother to do.. he stood up, mumbling another apology.

« But gods did he already miss his brother. »

Chapter Text

. The yellow animatronic was sat on the trees of Destiney island. Relishing in the feeling of being dead. It was so new yet he liked it. He had no more pressure on him or anything.. he was happy. He smiled and looked up at the night sky. He liked being dead, it was nice..

— «" How peaceful.. quiet and enjoyable too... „»

Sun mumbled to himself enjoying it. Until he heard the soft thud of feet on the ground. He looked down. Nexus? Why is he here.. he should still be alive.. he seemed to be looking for someone, he looked frantic.

— «" nexus? Why are you— „»

He got cut off by a sharp gasp from nexus.

— «" SUN—! YOUR HERE OH IM SO GLAD YOUR HERE— „»

Nexus exclaimed.. he was.. happy? Why would he be happy about seeing sun. He looked down at nexus, a bit cautious. He jumped down from the tree and stood in front of nexus. Nexus was wearing his jumper? That's odd.

— «" what do you want nexus. „»

— «" im sorry. Im sorry for everything sun. I didn't mean it. You're still my brother. I still love you. I don't know what was wrong with me but please believe me.. „»

Sun froze. Nexus was sorry? He tried not to cry, he couldn't believe nexus was apologizing.. but it was probably all manipulation right? Nexus wasn't sorry. Nexus hated him. He wanted him dead.

— «" stop lying. „»

— «" im not lying— brother please believe me— „»

Brother? That word hit like a punch to the gut. He hadn't been called that by him in.. forever.. he froze rigid. He was looking at nexus with his head tilted slightly. He didn't believe that. They just stared at each other for a while.

Sun was on the ground suddenly, nexus was hugging him? He awkwardly hugged nexus back, nexus immediately started crying at that, he buried his head in suns neck, dampening his undershirt with his tears, sun pat nexus's back, nexus's breathing was slightly labored from all his crying, sun just continued patting his back. He could hear nexus quietly talking about how bad of a brother he was, sun just let him cry,

— «" let it all out brother.. it's okay... „»

Sun mumbled and nexus just sobbed harder, he gripped sun tightly while sobbing, he hated it, he hates being weak but he just can't help it.. sun pat nexus's head softly. They just stayed in silence for awhile before nexus started saying how much he missed sun, causing sun quietly started crying too, his tears dripping onto nexus's shoulder as he held him. He smiled softly as nexus pulled away.

— «" I missed you sun.. or.. brother.. if you don't mind me calling you that..? „»

— «" I missed you too.. and of course I don't mind moo— uh.. nexus..„»

— «" .. call me moon.. nexus is a dumb name anyways.. sounds emo.. „»

Sun laughed at that and nexus let out a quiet chuckle too.

— «" alright moon.. „»

Sun had nexus— No, moon back. But he didn't have his brother back..

Chapter Text

                   Solar was running down the street. He had gotten news from moon that nexus was back. He ran as fast as he could, through the forest, and to the lake. He made it. He saw nexus in front of him, he freezes. He watches in shock as he watches nexus jump into the lake while wearing suns jumper. There were already red spider lilies around the lake, showing someone else had died before him, who though.. Solar approaches the lake. He saw nexus falling. He just stared, until he realised who was in nexus's arms. Sun. He could see the lifeless body of the animatronic who was once filled with happiness. He didn't care about nexus drowning, but sun.. he couldn't stop the tears from falling down his face as he looked into the water, seeing sun and nexus slowly fall into the abyss of darkness.

— «" Sun..?„»

He barely manages to say through the tears. He couldn't believe it. He saw sun as a best friend. He stared in shock. Did nexus push sun in.? What happened.. he could see nexus crying, just barely. Nexus was still wearing suns jumper as he hugged him tightly. He didn't want to see this yet he couldn't stop watching. Suns body was pressed close against nexus's, as they plummeted towards the bottom of the lake. Solar picked up one of the red spider lilies from suns death, and then picked another few, he dropped one into the lake, for sun. He knew sun liked them.. solar just sat down at the edge of the lake. Watching as nexus lost consciousness and stayed hugging sun. He stayed sat down, looking at the spider lilies in his lap. He sat there for hours. Slowly, the stars start to fade as day comes into view. He continues staring. Tears still silently falling down his face. He gets up. Still clutching the spider lilies tightly as he starts walking back to the house in silence. As tears continue falling. He walks in quietly. Seeing moon on the couch.

— «" hi.. „»

Solars voice was hoarse from crying, moon looked up, his voice cold as always.

— «" what's wrong? „»

— «" .. Nexus is dead. „»

— «" why would you care? „»

— «" suns also gone. „»

Moon paused. Wondering how to react. Would he pretend he cared?

— «" oh. Ok. Guess I'll miss him. Did take him long enough to die though. But uh.. do you mind eating his McDonald's order? I don't want his food going to waste.. „»

Solar stared at moon deadpanned. He slapped him.

— «" YOU CANT JUST FUCKING SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT! YOUR BROTHER IS DEAD DAMNIT! „»

Moon froze and stared at solar. He just got slapped? By solar. He got up and shoved solar

— «" SUN IS MY FUCKING BROTHER! I CAN REACT HOW I WANT ABOUT HIS DAMN DEATH! HE WAS USELESS ANYWAYS! „»

— «" USELESS?? YOUR THE USELESS ONE MOONDROP! YOU DONT CARE THAT YOUR BROTHERS DEAD! YOUR PATHETIC! „»

— «" .. and so is yours. Did that stop you? no. you don't know jack shit solar. You don't know what it's like to have a brother. they all either fucking hit you or left you. „»

— «" at least I wasn't the one hitting my brother. Moon, your no better then your creator. I hope you know that. „»

Solar turns and walks out to the lab, he'd get sun back no matter what. Even if he lost his mind. He'd get sun back. He walked into the lab and locked the door behind him. He sat at his desk and buried his self in work, wanting to get sun back. Outside, the sky turns a dark blue, you could see the stars clearly.

Sun and nexus's body was at the bottom of the lake by now. Sun was still in nexus's grasp. They were slowly rusting together, nexus's face was forever stained with tears. Suns was forever stained with a smile. Quite the opposites. Yet, they were always going to end up together in one way or another.
