1 year later
In the quiet woods just outside storybrook, Dorothy Gale sat on a soft patch of grass, gently rocking a tiny bundle in her arms. The moon cast a gentle glow, illuminating her kind face as she looked down at Cerise, who was sniffling softly.
Cerise's little cheeks were streaked with tears, and her tiny fists clutched at Dorothy’s dress. She had been brave all day exploring, but now the night made her feel a little scared — the shadows, the whispers of the wind, and the unfamiliar sounds of the forest.
Dorothy gently brushed a stray lock of hair from Cerise’s forehead and whispered softly, "Don’t cry, baby. Mommy’s got you." Her voice was warm and soothing, like a lullaby carried on a breeze.
Cerise looked up at her, her big, bright eyes shimmering with tears. "But… it’s so dark, mommy," she whispered, clutching her wolf plush close.
Dorothy smiled gently and wrapped her in a cozy blanket she had brought along. "I know, sweetheart. Darkness can be a little scary, but you’re safe with me. See those stars up there?" She pointed to the twinkling sky. "They’re watching over us, just like I am."
Cerise hesitated, her little lips trembling, but the calm in Dorothy’s voice started to make her feel safer. Dorothy softly hummed a lullaby she remembered from her own childhood, a melody filled with love and reassurance.
As the song filled the night air, Cerise’s eyelids fluttered closed, her tiny fingers
two weeks later
It was a busy afternoon at Granny’s Diner. The aroma of freshly baked pies filled the air, and the sound of laughter and chatter echoed through the cozy place. Dorothy Gale was sitting at a corner table, gently rocking Cerise in her arms. Cerise looked a little sad, her tiny face resting against Dorothy’s shoulder.
Remona , Cerise’s older sister, was playing nearby with her friends, chasing after a ball and giggling loudly. Ruby, the caring mother, was wiping down the counter, watching over her girls with a warm smile.
Suddenly, Dorothy looked over at Cerise and gently asked, “Shouldn’t you go and play with your friends, honey?”
Cerise looked up at Dorothy with big, longing eyes. “Want cuddle,” she whispered softly, clutching Dorothy’s arm tightly.
Ruby, noticing her little one’s hesitation, walked over with a gentle smile. “Come here, sweetie,” she said softly, kneeling down beside Dorothy and Cerise. “Sometimes, we all need a little break, especially when everything feels a bit overwhelming.”
Remona ran over and sat beside her sister, hugging her gently. “It’s okay, Cerise. You can stay with us. I love cuddles too.”
Cerise snuggled closer into Dorothy’s arms, feeling safe and loved. Dorothy smiled warmly and gently stroked Cerise’s hair. “You’re so brave, baby. But it’s okay to take a moment and rest. Mommy’s got you, and so does Remona.”
Ruby reached out and took Cerise’s tiny hand, giving it a caring squeeze. “Whenever you want, sweetheart, you can stay close. We’re a family, and family is always here for cuddles and love.”
Cerise looked up at everyone, her eyes shining with affection. She whispered, “Want cuddle,” and snuggled even closer, feeling the warmth of her family’s love surrounding her.
As the laughter and chatter continued in Granny’s Diner, Cerise knew she was safe and loved—right here, in her family’s caring embrace.

presant day
The warm glow of the evening sun seeped through the windows of Granny’s Diner, casting golden hues over the cozy space. The familiar hum of chatter, the clatter of dishes, and the smell of fresh baked pies created a comforting atmosphere.
At a corner table, Dorothy sat with her two daughters, now teenagers—Remona, 16, with her confident smile and quick wit, and Cerise, 15, whose eyes still held that spark of curiosity and innocence. Dorothy’s gentle eyes watched her girls with pride and love, a soft smile playing on her lips.
Cerise leaned into Dorothy’s side, her head resting softly against her mother’s shoulder. ruby looked at Remona, then at cerise, and with a playful grin, said, “How did you grow up so fast? Yesterday you were still my baby, and now you’re almost a grown-up.”
Remona looked over and grinned, her eyes twinkling with affection. She reached over and tousled Cerise’s hair gently. “Time just flies, sis. One day, you’re a little girl clinging to your mama’s dress, and the next, you’re a teen with your own dreams and plans.”
Dorothy chuckled softly, her heart swelling with pride. “I remember when you both were just little kids, running around Granny’s Diner, giggling and playing. Seems like just yesterday, Cerise was snuggling in my arms, telling me she wanted to stay small forever.”
Cerise’s eyes grew a little misty with a mixture of nostalgia and wonder. “I miss when I was little,” she whispered. “But I like growing up too. I just… I wish I could stay little a little longer sometimes.”
Remona reached across the table, taking her sister’s hand in hers. “You don’t have to worry, Cerise. Growing up is part of life, and I’ll be here with you every step of the way. We’re all growing, but no matter how tall we get or how much we change, we’ll always be your family — your sisters, your mama, your family that loves you.”
Dorothy looked at her daughters with a soft, loving gaze. “You two have grown into such wonderful young women. I’m so proud of you both. And no matter how old you get, you’ll always be my babies — just like I’ll always be here to catch you if you fall, to cheer you on, and to love you more than words can say.”
Cerise looked up at her mother, her eyes shining with gratitude. “Thanks, Mommy. I love you.”
Remona squeezed her sister’s hand gently. “And I love you, little sis. We’re growing up, but some things — like love, family, and the memories we make — they stay the same forever.”
They all sat there in a warm, peaceful silence, the bond of family stronger than ever. The evening faded into night, but the love and memories shared at Granny’s Diner would stay in their hearts forever.

It was a quiet evening in their cozy house. The soft glow of the lamps filled the room with warmth. Cerise sat on the couch, nervously twisting her hands, while Dorothy and Ruby sat beside her, their expressions gentle and encouraging. Remona was sitting cross-legged on the floor, listening closely.
Cerise took a deep breath, feeling her heart pounding. “Mom… Momma… Remona,” she began softly, “there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you.”
Dorothy reached out and gently took Cerise’s hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. Ruby smiled kindly, her eyes full of love. Remona looked at her sister with curiosity and support.
Cerise looked down for a moment before speaking again. “I’m gay. I like girls — and I’m dating someone special. Her name is Rosabelle. She’s the daughter of Rumple and Belle.”
Just then, she heard a soft knock at the door. Her stomach fluttered. She looked at her family and then toward the door, hesitating briefly.
“Can I go see if she’s outside?” Cerise asked softly.
Dorothy and Ruby exchanged a warm glance. Dorothy nodded. “Of course, honey. We’re here for you.”
Cerise rose and slowly walked to the door. She opened it and stepped outside onto the porch. There, standing shyly with a nervous smile, was Rosabelle. Cerise took her hand gently, feeling her heart race.
“Hi,” Rosabelle said softly, her eyes shining with hope.
Cerise looked back at her family through the doorway, then turned back to Rosabelle. “Mom… mama… Remona,” she called out quietly, “I want you to meet someone special.”
.
She took a deep breath. “this is Rosabelle, the girl I love."
Her family stepped outside, their faces full of pride and love. Dorothy smiled warmly. “Sweetheart, I love you no matter who you love. All I want is for you to be happy.”
Ruby’s eyes glistened with tears of pride. “You’re so brave, Cerise. We love you so much — always.”
Remona ran over and hugged her sister tightly. “I love you, Cerise. I’m so happy for you.”
Cerise looked at Rosabelle, then back at her family, feeling a wave of warmth. “Thank you,” she whispered. “I’m so lucky to have you all.”
Surrounded by love and acceptance, Cerise knew she was exactly where she belonged — loved for who she was, now and always.
rosabelle said from behind cerise " so you ready for our date now"
cerise turned to her and gave an nod and said goodbye to her family and went off with rosa

It was a bright, breezy afternoon, and Cerise and Rosabelle were walking hand in hand through a beautiful park nearby. The sun was shining, and colorful flowers bloomed all around them, filling the air with a sweet scent.
Cerise looked over at Rosabelle, her cheeks tinged with a shy smile. “I’m really glad we’re spending today together,” she said softly.
Rosabelle squeezed her hand gently. “Me too. I’ve been looking forward to this all week.”
They found a cozy spot under a large tree, where they could sit and watch the world go by. Cerise pulled out a small picnic blanket from her bag, and they settled down, sharing snacks and laughter.
As they talked about their favorite stories and dreams for the future, Cerise felt her heart full of happiness. She looked into Rosabelle’s eyes and felt comfortable and safe.
“Thanks for being here with me,” Cerise said quietly. “You make everything better.”
Rosabelle smiled warmly. “You make me happy, Cerise. I love being with you.”
They leaned in closer, sharing a gentle, sweet kiss as the sun shimmered through the leaves. For a moment, it felt like nothing else mattered — just two hearts connected, happy and free.
As they sat together, hand in hand, Cerise knew she had found someone special — and that they had many more beautiful days ahead.
