Chapter 1: Re-working

Currently re vamping my former book , cause I now have a clearer vision.
I ask for forgiveness for the sudden deleting of my former ver of this book. I was trying to write chapter with the shadow, Amy and cream trio but couldn't find natural chem or basically anything to do with cream for the characters or plot in the way that I'd like.
So after going over my outlines and themes I planned to show I decided to start a fresh. Probably should have edited my last work?.....eh. Probably should have informed ya guys? YES. (Still so sorry, for those expecting new chapters)
I'll do better with this one. As better as a college student who as of writing this chapters is also getting ready for exams (wish me luck!) but update will flow in more regularly after that. Trust.
I hope to entertain those who gave my silly little book I chance to enjoy smth to read. First chapter will be out tomorrow (completed this time.)
Thanks again for picking up my book, and sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused with the sudden deleting of the former one.
Edit: I'm sorry guys the fucking internet is wack here in my college and tests are being treated as I priority but I will get out that COMPLETED first chapter one way or another.
P.s if anyone knows how to upon pics on AO3 when you're using an Android phone say it down in the comments pls. I have pics of some scenes I wanna show in some chapters.
Chapter 2: Well, that's new.

"Shadow, shadow, shadow." The pink hedgehog called , poking her ebony colored companion .
They were in the classroom it was quiet nosy though it was to be expected— it was a free period and a last free period too. There was no possible way students would NOT be noisy.
And instead of leaving shadow the hedgehog alone to do his work, Amy Rose decided it'd be a good time to annoy him.
"Amy , I swear to Gaia if you poke me one more time." Shadow warned not glancing up from the assignment his doing. He preferred to get all his done before school closes when he can. Unlike a certain pink hedgehog who likes doing it at 'her own time .'
"Aww , shadow lighten up." She smiled sitting on his desk " it's been weeks and your still grouchy. Live a little more , we're in highschool for Gaia's seak! Best time of our lives?"
Shadow finally glances up at her, shes' got her signature cheeky on smile . How does she always get excited about all this kinds of things ? shadow will never know, school in general felt unnecessary to him he only went there under the wishes(orders) of stone.He says it'll teach him to 'blend in'.
Groaning shadow leaned back on his chair dragging his hand down his face as looked at her.
"Amy, I'm not grouch—"
"I'm simply deciding on not wasting time on idiots, which 75% of teenagers are." Amy interrupted, unamused. " You always use that excuse." She scold crossing her arm. shadow roles his eyes at that, he doesn't know why she tries His social life will probably never reach beyond Rogue, her and Omega at this point.
But Amy Rose is one stubborn hedgehog. After it was due to that stubborn persistence of hers that they grew close all those years ago.
It was also why she has chaos energy flowing through her veins too.
"Don't you have an annoy blue hedgehog to go annoy instead?" Shadow asked bored, rested his cheek on his palm. Maybe bringing that Annoying blue crush of hers will get her to leave him alone.
Amy flushed red at his statement, "H-HEY! Sonic isn't annoying and im changing my tactics with him..." She trailed off rubbing her cheeks as if trying to cool her red cheeks. " Figured I was calming off a bit...... too strong, so trying to keep it on the lay low form now on."she huffed out twirling her index finger around.
Shadow raised a brow to that , huh. That's new , she finally figured out that Her rather...... eccentric method of trying to gain his affections weren't working after all?
"That's Good. Though still don't see what you see in that blue idiot though." Shadow got a gentle bonk on his head after that comment from a not-so- happy Amy after that.
If it been any other mobian, Amy had just hit in the head like that they be left with a nasty bruise.
"Your strength control is getting better." Shadow noted , leaning on his desk with his arms crossed.
Amy chuckled at that "well , of course" arm raised her arm touching her bicep with the other. "Gotta keep these babies in check in case a certain moustached mad scientist tries to tear a whole through dimensions again."
Shadow gave a small chuckle to that " Careful what you say Amy. Your predictions often comes through."
" Pfft, shadow there nothing to worry about." She joked, playfully nudging him with her shoes a bit. Pointing at the door" it's been a few months since the last ripple so we should be fi—!" Both Amys ' and shadows' fur stood up high in alert. Their grips on the desk and seat tightening instinctively.
An undeniable surge of energy flowed through the room. unstoppable , energetic and strong. It was a quick wave not more than a quarter of a second. But it was there. Urgent,fast and chaotic.
Chaos energy.A a strong one too.
No one aside from them felt it going on with they free period as if the breath taking wave of energy didn't take place. The two hedgehogs both let out breaths they didn't know they were holding. Shadow narrowed his eyes at The pink hedgehog causing her to giggled and bashfully scratch her head.
"You were saying?"
"Hehehe....."
Sighing shadow getting up from his seat , closing his book as he did " I'll go check it out. I'll call you if necessary."
Amy coughed into her hand at his statement, raising a brow in disapproval. Shadow roller his eyes at that clearing up his throat to re- pharse his wording " I'll call you when I see what's wrong."
Amy nodded" You better." Shadow eyes twitch at her assertive nod, this hedgehog......
And with that he left the classroom .

Amy would never have guessed that meeting shadow would change her life
Shadow was a foster that stone, brought into his house one summer morning and announced he'd be staying with them.
No warning, No notice , Nothing..... Nothing at all. And the wasn't like stone.
At all.
Regardless, Amy tried to connect with the brooding ebony hedgehog. And Chaos , he did not make it easy but Amy Rose is anything if not stubborn.
It took a while but he started to open up to her. He talked about his love of bitter things,showed her his talent with roller skates, And even showed her constellations he knew under a starry night sky.
Seemed that he only extended his warmth to Amy though others..... Not so much.
Then one day he Talked about his sister —Maria who , from what she heard was the sweetest thing ever. Maria was as sweet as she was smart even with her frail health it never stopped her when she put her mind onto doing anything.
All was good..... Till An 'explosion' took their home leaving shadow as the only survivor. He was just 'lucky' that stone took him in after from the 'foster care' he was in.
Casting her horror aside , Amy tried cheer him up since he seems down from recalling the nasty memory. At least his here now with Another Annoying pink hedgehog of a sister now.
Shadow actually smiled to that.
Amy let out a blissful sigh. Those were calmer times , sometimes she wishes they'd stay like that forever but life had other plans.....
"Earth to Amy? Hello?" Amy was snapped back to reality turning to face a familiar blue hedgehog smiling at her.
Her eyes brighten at him , letting out a small laugh she replied " Hey , sonic. What's up?"
