"You got me, pilgrim... But you will never defeat the twins."

Those were the last words of Roxy before being cut in half, just to explode into a bunch of little animals.
And then.

***POP***

She respawns in her little apartment in America

"-1 life" appears above her as she just lays in her bed, sighing as she stares at the ceiling.

"Well, at least I got to see her one last time..."
Was it worth it? Traveling to another country just to see her ex, see her new boyfriend, and have him kick her ass and split her in half with a sword he pulled out of his chest.
Roxy felt stupid for doing that, she felt stupid for agreeing to join the league when she had no chance of getting Ramona back.

She knew real life didn't work like that.

Roxy curled up in her bed, trying so hard into not think about Ramona.
Trying so hard to not think about her eyes, her lips, her voice, her skin, her hair, her.
Everything.

But even if she tried her hardest, she couldn't. She couldn't stop the tears as she sobbed into a pillow. She couldn't stop her heart to hurt as she remembers those times in college when she first met Ramona.
Those times where everything seemed easier, or kind of.
When both promised, no matter what, they'll be together forever.
And she couldn't stop thinking about someone.
That person, who was also pretty special to Roxy in college after Ramona left. She tried to remember but it seemed blurred.
Like a black spot covering that person.
Whoever that is, doesn't matter right now. It was past, like everyone else.
And instead of thinking in the past and things that hurts.
Roxy stopped crying, wiped the tears off her face, and sayed to herself that she won't be weak anymore.
That she wouldn't let anyone else hurt her like Ramona did.

In that moment, Roxy Richter promised to herself that she won't fall in love again.

Roxy stopped loving.

And besides that Roxy got

Because it was 8 am

"Wow, did I really spent all night thinking about her? Dude I'm so lame."

6 months later (after Scott pilgrim vs the world's end approximately)

Roxy has been working out on her ninja studies. She even level up from half ninja to almost ninja.
She feels at her maximum, and even if she's struggling emotionally, she's starting to leave the past behind, to leave what Hurted her behind.

To leave Ramona behind
So. As a hard worker she decided to have a little reward. And by little reward we mean getting drunk as hell in a random's party

at the party. 8:09 PM (or something)

Roxy isn't the kind of person who crashes at parties, but hey. You have to live a little.

Is not that bad, a shitton of people she doesn't know, a lot of alcohol, and seems like she crashed into a costume party. Luckily for she always has her katanas so when someone asked she says "oh this? Yeah is part of my costume" or something. Nobody asked but the excuse where there if she needed that.

She took a bottle of coke, pour herself a drink and took a sit at a couch.
Not caring that a guy is kissing the shit out of another guy right beside her.
After months of progress. She could just take a breath and relax.

"Roxy?"

A familiar voice called her name. Her eyes sharp opened, because who would know her name in a party where she didn't even know who's party was.
And the she saw them.

?: "Roxanne Richter?" (Yeah, this is like the panel where Lisa miller finds Scott in a bench at the mall) asks the person Infront of her

R: "Yes? I know you?" The blonde asks, her hand discreetly going to the handle of her sword, who knows and maybe this is an envoy from Gideon for leaving the league.

?: "Wha- c'mon, don't you remember me?"

R: "if I knew I wouldn't be asking"

C: "It's me? Charlie Williams? We met in college"

And then the memories went back to Roxy's head. To the night when Scott defeated her. Roxy now could remember clearly who was that person her head couldn't remember.

R: "Wait, Charlie? Dude! What's up? What happened to you? You look so..."

C: "Different? Yeah, I did some changes with my appearance since the last time we saw each other" Charlie says as they walk to the backyard

R: "Man, i couldn't recognized you. So.. what's up, where have you been? I haven't saw you since forever"

C: "Well, after graduating I stayed at my parent's for some time while I worked my ass off at the KFC around the corner of my house. Just enough to move into an apartment. I now work as a graphic designer for an indie game company. What about you?"

R: "Well..." Shit. She couldn't say she joined a league with other 6 guys just to try to kill her ex's boyfriend. Less that she's been thinking on Ramona for the past years. "I.. did progress on my ninja studies..?

C: "See? I knew you would do it... Man, what a coincidence we met again here. After we lost touch I thought I wouldn't see you again but, here you are. We should go to take a drink some day."

R: "Oh, really?"

C: "I mean, if you want to. Or if you're not busy this week"

R: "No, like, yeah sure. I'm free all the week to be honest. Just say the day and I'll be there"

C: "Really? Aww, thank you. We could go to the Mall's Starbucks tomorrow, what'd you say?"

"Yeah"
