Work Text:
Ashra couldn't fucking believe it.
"Are you mad??"
She knew her sister was younger, immature sometimes and most of times deciding on giving Ashra a heart attack. But she's her baby sister. The one she used to get double job to help their foster sisters. So she was very protective of Sareena.
Her sister who was sitting on the medicore couch in the middle of their apartment. Scowling like a stray cat under rain. "I'm in love, Ashra."
Right, in 'LOVE'. Ashra wanted to roll her eyes. In love. Ridiculous. One week into her bakery job and he already feel juliet flying on a nine cloud.
"You can't be serious," Ashra said with a 'dont make me laugh' tone. "I am! He's special. I feel something deep with him!" Sareena jump of couch.
Right because falling for a man in tuxedo in few first days of your job in a bakery shop is the most normal thing.
"You can't just say that about a rich city boy you met!" Ashra hissed.
She haven't seen this guy, no idea who is he or how he looked or what he was up to? She wasn't stupid, she knew a lot of rich guys would do with the privilege of their pretty smiles and shiny cars and smell of the dollars.
So when she started talking about how this mystery 'bi-han' guy more and more for weeks, she had to investigate.
Sareena always wear her lighter colours on Tuesdays. So when Ashra saw her putting her hair back to show her face better and splashing extra perfume, she decided to meet this mystery city boy.
She stood behind the corner. The flower shop guy gave her few curious looks. She just needed a rain coat to look like a suspicious focused detective catching a pair of criminals.
Well, Sareena and her new boycrush to be exact.
A hour later a fancy roofless car she didn't even know what slid into the street. The man was young but looked mature. Honestly he looked older and quite tired. Holding a big flower bouquet. The suit deep colour of blue and a silver looking watch showing off.
The man couldn't be read. His muscles on his face didn't move like he's in the middle of a mogshot.
"Here to see Sareena?" Ashra made the man, 'bi-han' turn his neck. Buy his hard expression unchanged. Mostly curious of who, why and what in his eyes. Probably figured her resemblance. "Indeed." Bi han said. His tone saying 'who asks?'. Cocky. Got it.
"I'm her older sister," Ashra said. Like the man had to know.
"Mhm," Bi-han said affimatively. "It's a pleasure." He said offering his very cold palm. She shook it. "I figured Sareena's head is in the clouds lately and I had to meet the reason." She said watching him like a hawk.
"Well, dating isn't exactly illegal," bi han said unimpressed. "But if you must know, I treat her upon the standard."
Arrogant too, huh? We'll see about that. Ashra frown. "A little too sure, aren't we city boy?" Tone a little harsh but bi han nod. Almost... amused.
"I see, you think I'm taking advantage of her due to out different social classes. I assure you, I would never engaged in anyone if I'm not sure of my true feelings. I simply enjoy my time talking and knowing her. But most importantly..." He turned to see Sareena in last minutes of her shift before break. Looking like a happy little chef putting pastries and breads on shelf's.
"She's hard working, passionate and strong weilded. She...." He stopped himself. Probably digging to his emotions. You know. Something a lot of rich guys didn't have, at least according to Ashra hard experiences.
"She's just herself. And she's kind, and selfless. Ridiculously patience with me. Something a lot of people give up on me." He spoken like, well as disgustingly sweet as Sareena talking about him.
So then. They are both a pair of pinning little birds on a tree bench? Ashra now was more relieved.
"Well bi-han. I can't hold anything against you at the moment. But for a shovel talk I must say if you hurt my sister or make even a LITTLE inconvenient action towards her, we'll not be as good as now." She said with a pointing finger.
"Noted." He said.
She nods. "See you later, Bi-han. Good luck with my sister."
"You look a little imitidated. Are you sure everything it's fine?" Sareena asked as she was holding her flowers and sitting on his boyfriend's lap, fingers playing with his tie. "Oh I'm sure, Baobei."
He pushed her fluffy hair out if her face.
"Just a small shovel talk from your sister." Bi han added also. Sareena blink surprised.
"What you two talked about?" Sareena asked looking over. His thump rubbing over corner of her cheek, dusting the flour off.
"I proved her that there's no need of it." He give her a peck on the lips. Letting his small smile shown. "I wouldn't let you go even if the sky fall down." She grin. Giving a peck back.
"You better so, city boy."
Hope you liked it!
