Solar sat at the daycare desk silently, eyeing around while continuing to work on some minor project for better water proof bodies and other things. but he couldn’t deny the nagging feeling everytime he would glance up and not see who he was eyeing for

you see, eclipse had been visiting more often to help moon because monty was busy helping earth and eclipse was the second best option as solar had his own things to do, so eclipse was visiting more often and him and solar had been getting along better. Nobody found it odd except sun and lunar who would make small, unimportant jokes about solar and eclipse secretly dating, which didnt bother either of them considering they surprisingly had similar interests, they both enjoyed similar bands and often shared songs for the other to talk and theorize about, they both adored their children, even if eclipse didn’t directly call andy and jake his kids, solar could tell eclipse cared for them on a parental level.

And thats the beauty of eclipse, the small smiles, the oddly beautiful glare eclipse often gave, color of his rays, how his rays almost glowed, and solars favorite detail about eclipse? his eyes, those striking eyes of amber and iron, the feline look, the bold striking colors, how they were mismatched, solar could never get those precious jewels out of his memory bank, so thats when, when solar looked up and saw those eyes staring at him, he couldnt control his own rays spinning at seeing eclipse standing there with some box of spare parts and tools

solar just sort of sat there for a moment, him and eclipse staring back and forth before the inevitable happened, sun broke the silence with a cough, “ uhm..eclipse! moons in parts and service if your looking for him!-“ sun saidm, giving a nervous smile, eclipse just nodded with a grunt and waved to solar bye, giving him that same small smile solar couldn’t help but smile at the sight of it, solar watched eclipse leave, fingers stopped on the keys of the keyboard as solar just stared at the door, not even realizing until sun snapped his fingers in front of his face, bending over a little to see solars face

“Are you okay there solar?” sun asked, worry etched on his face “w-what?” solar asked, blinking confusedly, “you were staring at the door” sun said, standing up straight and sitting down in the chair beside solar “yea- yeah im fine sun, what do you need?” solar asked, spinning to look back at the computer and continue working, not really paying attention to whatever sun was saying, until he mentioned something about eclipse, “what?” solar asked, looking at sun almost to eagerly “ye-yea? lunar mention the zodiacs are thinking about letting eclipse stay for a little longer than 24 hours for good behavior.. mostly” sun said, shrugging on mostly

something in solar snapped at those words ‘a few days?..’ solar wondered, which made him immediately stand up “i-i have to go-“ solar said quickly, running off before rushing back to impatiently turn off the computer

the sound of solars boots rushing loudly through the pizzaplex halls would make you think solar was running for his life

well to solar? he was

solar didn’t know why he was so eager to have eclipse stay for longer than a couple of hours, but he was, and he was eager to.. solars running slowed down to a jog, then a walk, than he stopped, staring at the floor

why’re you looking for him? why?

solar thought, squinting as his brain asked more questions

he wouldnt ever say yes… would he?

solars brain than began the long process of asking his questions and answering them himself, and worst part about answering your own questions with a somewhat stable mentality? he come up with the worst scenarios

what if he says no? what if he mocks me..? what if-

“solar?”

solar looked back at the sound of that deep, groggy voice saying his name, he looked back, and those same wild, feline like jewels met his again, he blinked at seeing eclipse so work driven.

solar could practically hear his inner fans working to keep him cooled off, he stood up straight but still squirmed under that piercing gaze looking at him so- gently…

“uhm- y-yea?” solar asked, hoping to start up a conversation with eclipse

“why’re you standing in the middle of the hallway?” eclipse asked, walking closer to solar and crossing his arms over his chest, “im what?” solar asked, looking around and seeing what eclipse meant, he was indeed having a mental crisis in the middle of a hallway “do i need to repeat or did you realize?” eclipse asked, raising his non existent eyebrow (eyebrowless bitch./j), sarcasm flooding his voice box and cords “no need to repeat” solar said, shrugging, crossing his arms and leaning back, hoping that eclipse didnt hear his inner fans working overtime to keep him cooled off

“well, i was going back to the daycare to go back, but seeing your free now, wanna talk?” eclipse asked, shrugging and looking away, solars eyes widened, feeling his artificial cheeks flush

see, why is solar surprised? eclipse has never started the conversations between them, its usually solar who does and eclipse goes on with whatever topic solar brings up, solar changes the subject? eclipse changes to the same subject aswell, so eclipse asking to start a conversation? it was basically a gold medal in solars book

“uhm.. uh- yea, yea we can talk” solar said, shrugging, smiling at eclipse, eclipse gave a medium smile back, which made solar smile wider “okay loose the clown smile” eclipse said, rolling his eyes, though no malice was hinted to his voice, just a playful tone, which made solar chuckle and push him away playfully, which in return made eclipse chuckle and spin solars rays, which soon resulted into a playful wrestle between the two, but it soon died off as eclipse and solar fell back side by side against the wall and down to the floor, leaning against it, them still chuckling

“heheh.. uhm..- solar?” eclipse asked, making solar look at him, than seeing eclipses cheeks were flushed with something of embarrassment and probably something else as eclipse sounded nervous, “would you.. fuck it, do you want to go on a date?” eclipse asked, losing any and all sense of trying to be polite, making solars eyes widen at the question, “w-wha..?” solar asked? voice trailing off

seeing eclipse glare and stand up while saying “forget it, it was a stupid damn question anyway-“ “wait wait wait” solar said, interrupting eclipse and grabbing his wrist, he bounced up quickly and kept his grip on eclipses wrist firm “yes, yes i do, really do” solar said, smiling widely, which made eclipses eyes widen wide and face flush over heavily before he looked away, fans burring loudly, “ ‘kay.. cool, what time? free soon?” eclipse trying to desperately sound casual despite his own minor embarrassment and flushing, which made solar innerly chuckle at the sight of seeing eclipse act like sun so openly

“im free tomorrow” solar said, keeping his expressions calm and his tone cool despite him absolutely SCREAMING in his head, which made eclipse only nod with a grunt and turn to walk off, “where are you goin?” solar asked following close behind, “to get ready” eclipse said, pulling the daycare doors open way too easily for comfort, unlike solar who didnt even notice till eclipse was half-way across the daycare “what do you mean ‘to get ready’ we’re not even leaving until tomorrow!” solar said, confused why eclipse was being so eager to be ready

“so my genderfluid ass doesnt try to choose an outfit than i feel like a different gender” eclipse said, jumping onto the green platform in the ball-pit before looking back at solar and smiling, leaning over and kissing his cheek gently before stepping back and giving solar a final glance before jumping into the portal

solar stood there, leaned over the ‘railing’ of the ballpit, staring where eclipse had disappeared before walking out the daycare, to the house, and into his bedroom, laying down and absolutely screaming into his pillow, kicking his legs like a highschool girl before sitting up and deciding to do the same as eclipse and get ready early, something he wasnt used too

than he remembered… “fuck.”

some time later

solar called earth, tapping his foot on the floor and walking around impatiently, he knew earth wasnt in best condition, but he was desperate to look good for eclipse, heavily desperate, and soon, earth picked up “yes solar?” he heard earth calm, motherly voice say

“earth!” solar said quickly “okay i know is so sudden but im going..- out with someone and i am-“ “ooo! you found somebody?” earth said, accidentally interrupting solar as her excitement got the better of her, making solar chuckle before continuing, “yes i found someone, and i really want to look good for them! so can you uhm..” solar said before his voice trailed off, “uhm..” “help you get an outfit readied for your special someone?” earth said, already knowing her brothers question and sparing him the trouble and embarrassment of asking, “yes…” solar said, scrunching up his body

time skip

solar was currently pushing earth through a thrift store, they already had a couple of bags waiting in the car of clothes but earth wanted solar to have choices

after a long while of solar trying on different outfit combos and finding good ones and just… high uncomfortable ones either based on color or just straight material, they eventually found some clothes they found solar liked, and they bought them

man solar was excited…

back at the house, solar was picking from the clothes him and earth had bought. Solar was really struggling though, as he didn’t have ANY sense of fashion style, which was why, when he began wanting to just start ripping the clothes, he went to moon, who actually did, to his knowledge, have somewhat of a fashion style

and after a while, moon had helped solar pick a outfit,

Moon had picked out a large leather jacket, pins and button on the collar of said leather jacket. some black jean shorts and a large black shirt, some spiderweb somewhat see through leggings to go under the shorts, and a pair of platform ankle high boots earth had picked out for solar, a spiked choker and some matching earrings

the next day

solar stepped into the daycare, hands clasped as he anxiously stood at the entrance of the portal “go” moon said, arms crossed as he watched solar from behind with a smile, “he’s waiting” moon said, watching solar look back anxiously before looking over the ball pit and taking a deep breathe and jumping in

Solar sat up, looking around before looking up, seeing eclipse’s sun staring at him before he started screaming, “wait!-“ solar said before someone walked in, “JESUS SUN SHUT- oh..” a same, deep and groggy, storm like voice said, that enchanting voice trailing off as those piercing wild feline jewels met solars, solars confidence than dwindled as he gazed over eclipses outfit,

a my self indulgence shirt with eclipses favorite album on it, a black jacket with the rib cage, arm bones, and spine on it with a red heart on the left side, some ripped up pants, and some somewhat see through leggings under the pants, his sleeves were rolled up to reveal the concoction of bracelets that adorned eclipses lower arms, his boots were about knee high and you could see them through the jeans eclipse was wearing, eclipse had on a few necklaces and than a choke with a skull on it

every single detail in eclipses outfit made solar swoon every time more again and again, but solar pushed away the whole emotions and stood up straight, holding the gifts he’d made for eclipse, he walked forward and out the ball pit, his and eclipses gazes never leaving the others, until eclipse looked away, seemingly embarrassed by the fact solar was walking towards him in such, to eclipse, a dashing outfit

solar chuckled and was soon infront of eclipse, looking at him happily, “you look.. good” eclipse said, face flushed heavily at solars outfit, making solar chuckle, “you look better than me” solar said, shrugging, “i still think you look good” eclipse said, standing up straighter, looking confident in his statement about solar, making solar chuckle, “oh! i uhm-“ solar began, looking at the things in his hands “i searched around for some things for you and uhm-“ solar began, trying to find the words “just take them!” solar said, giving up and pushing them into eclipses chest, making him grunt before looking at the unopened gifts

eclipse eyed solar before beginning to open them, seeing his favorites, MSI and ICP things, his favorite candies he's only ever mentioned a few times, some more jewelry, and other things, eclipses eyes widened at the thoughtfulness solar had put into this, and he had NOTHING?!

eclipse looked at solar and opened his mouth to speak before solar stopped him “don't say you dont deserve it because you do, i don't care if you didnt think about it, just know i cared enough to even do this” solar said, glaring at eclipse, silently daring him to try and not accept the gifts, which is what eclipse didn’t. do.

time skip

eclipse and solar had been at a park for most of the day, they had stopped at a nearby café where they had a few snacks and laughs before they stopped at their final destination, a pond, not ideal for most dates, but for solar and eclipse? it was divine.

the sun was setting, casting gorgeous red and orange-ish hues, the water sparkled with what little sun was left, the trees bristled softly and the table where eclipse and solar sat was perfect, secluded but not too much, not close to any trails but close to the water, and everything else about this spot was perfect, eclipse looked at solar, who wasn't looking at him but at the water

to eclipse, solar looked heavenly, solars rays were a dashing shade of deep orange with some stains of oil that were in the right spots, his freckles that eclipse suspected were natural were perfect in such a way that had eclipse wishing he could just kiss repeatedly until someone stopped him, but what eclipse loved most about solar? his eyes, the deep shade of caramel like orange, especially how they sort of looked like caramel, with spots that were lighter shades of a cream color, eclipse can recall every time he’s gotten lost out of reality just staring at solar’s eyes, and he loved them dearly..

Solar looked at eclipse, who was staring, admiring him, making him chuckle and lean forward, poking eclipse's artificial nose, making eclipse wince and shut his eyes before blinking them open and chuckling, leaning forward, “eclipse?” Solar said, his voice like a rich coffee blend, “yes?” eclipse responded, his voice.. softer this time

“can we uhm.. i know this is sudden, but can we maybe..- uhm-“ solar began, stumbling on his words to find the right ones “fuck it, can we make this official?” solar asked, pointing between him and eclipse to hopefully give eclipse an idea of what he meant, eclipse blinked in surprise but smiled, an actual smile “yea, we can” eclipse said, chuckling and leaning forward, resting his head on his hand as he went back to admiring solar as solars rays spinned wildly and he covered his face excitedly

eclipse watched solar sort of ‘freak out’ for a solid minute before solar calmed down and looked at eclipse, he than watched solar stand up and lean forward, “solar?-“ he began before he was pulled into.. a kiss,

eclipse blinked in surprise before hooding his eyes, than closing them as he wrapped his arms around solars neck, holding him close, his body jolting ever so slightly as he felt solars hands grip his hips, making him sigh into the kiss and cup solars cheek as they continued to kiss, only pulling back every so often to get a breathe before they continued kissing, and, after what felt like hours, which was only fifteen minutes, they pulled back, and eclipse and solars eyes met for a final time before they chuckled and pressed their foreheads together happily, already loving each other.

!!TW’S!!: ANGST.

over the past few months, eclipse and solar had hid their relationship greatly, only person who knew about it? moon, solar had entrusted moon with the valuable knowledge of solar and eclipses relationship, due to solars worries over somebody freaking out, which was when solar sat sun down and had earth present as well, he was absolutely TERRIFIED by what they would say

“uhm..” solar began, rubbing his hands together scaredly, thinking for a moment before taking a deep breathe and a long exhale, looking at sun and earths worried expressions, couldn’t help solar much before he stammered “me- me and eclipse are together!-“ solar kept his eyes closed the entire time, before looking up and seeing suns wide eyes and slightly opened mouth while earths eyes were equally wide but.. her surprise quickly turned into happiness, and she rolled herself over and hugged solar, making him chuckle before solar looked back at sun, who still had that wide eyed surprised expression, “sun?” earth said softly, noticing suns expression too “you’re.. joking, right?” sun asked, seemingly not wanting to believe it, which only made solar even more afraid, “im n-“ “tell me your FUCKING. JOKING.” sun screamed, standing up.

Solar jumped along with earth, who were both looking at sun like he’d just committed a felony, “let me-“ “no no no, shut up. shut. up.” sun said, solar blinked and stood up straight, hands balled into fists, “you got a problem, sun?” solar asked, giving a sort of hiss to saying suns name, “yeah, i do. i got a real big problem with you dating a monster.” sun said, rays clicking angrily

solar stood there for a moment before huffing, “what did you call him?..” solar asked quietly, not wanting to start yelling yet “you heard me.” sun said, hissing those words, “nah nah nah i want to hear you say it.” solar said, stepping forward, his hands beginning to shake angrily “let me ask you this.” solar said, rays beginning to spin slowly, almost menacingly “if i committed the same things as the old eclipse, would you call me a monster now?” solar asked, eyebrow raised, “solar c’mon that not-“ “ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION SUNDROP” solar screamed, his voice raw with anger, making both sun and earth jump back, “i wouldnt put it out of my wa-“ “oh, is it because im an eclipse? you dont call moon a monster, why is that? is it because hes your brother?” solar questioned, which made sun began stammering over his words “well- thats not- i dont mean- your not-“ “what? speak up, i want to hear you” solar said, stepping forward, closer to sun until the only thing stopping solar was the coffee table “know what? im out, goodbye! sun? FUCK. OFF.” solar said, flipping sun off with both hands before slamming the front door behind him

solar walked through the plex, texting eclipse while he did and had eclipse open a portal for him

S: ‘hey.. can you open a portal for me?’

S: ‘clip..?’

E: ‘sorry, yea i’ll open the portal, whats wrong sol?’

S: ‘i dont wanna talka bout it..’

E: ‘mkay, portals opened’

S: ‘i see it’

solar smiled at their texts before turning his phone off and stepping through the portal, seeing eclipse standing there, hands clasped and worried, almost made solar a bit happier before he remembered him and suns argument which made him crumble, solars body began shaking as his breath became shaky, and he began sobbing, and i mean sobbing, curling up and sobbing in front of eclipse

eclipse stood there for a moment, watching the man he’s been loving for the past few months break down infront of him… he felt.. horrible, seeing his love crying so openly infront of him, made him oh… angry, worried, he than stepped forward, hugging solar close and rubbing solars back gently, kissing the side of his head gently, not shushing his cries, just giving him gentle affection soon enough, solar and eclipse were in eclipses room, solar laying ontop of eclipse, head resting on his chest gently while he cried softly, only a faint hiccup being heard along with a sniffle

different POV

“sun..” earth said, holding sun's hands gently, “you know what you’ve done.. right?” earth asked, wanting to make sure sun understood his wrongs “yea.. yea i know” sun said quietly, rays retracted almost fully, sun looking down at the floor, seemingly disappointed with himself

“you do understand this is solar’s choices ri-” “well i know! but I don’t want solar getting hurt!” sun said quickly, interrupting earth, which earth didn’t mind despite sun being in the wrong, “but this is his choice, if he and eclipse don’t work out then it's okay! but i need you to understand that how you reacted made solar terribly upset, sun” earth said, tilting her head to see her brothers face, which was looking down, seemingly angry with himself and hurt

“you can’t let the actions of ones past self hurt how you perceive them now” earth said, which made sun look up, thinking about what earth said, before he nodded, smiling at earth “thank you earth” sun said, his smile shaky with sun wanting to cry but holding it in, sun leaned forward, hugging earth tightly before standing up and walking outside, calling solar

SOLAR AND ECLIPSES POV

Solar was sitting there, blanket covering his legs as he waited patiently for eclipse to return from whatever he was doing. He watched as eclipse walked in, holding some food, eclipse fhan gave the food to solar, solar looked at it and chuckled “oh you gem, makin’ my favorite?” solar asked, looked at eclipse who was embarrassed by the fact he had been secretly perfecting the recipe for the past few weeks so solar didn’t have to buy it much anymore

solar chuckled and began eating before his phone buzzed in his back pocket, making him stop eating and pull out his phone, seeing suns contact, solar wanted to hang up, but looked to eclipse who believed solar should answer

solar glared at eclipse but answered, “what.” solar said, his voice sort of taking on eclipses, except with solars voice instead of eclipses, he listened to suns voice for a moment, glaring, but after a moment, solars scrunched up angry face softened, and he blinked before nodding, “your forgiven” solar said, hanging up and putting his phone down on the nightstand

“so?” eclipse asked, grabbing solars chin and making him look at him, making solars cheeks flush, making eclipse chuckle “thats a nice color on you” eclipse said, referring to the blush on solars cheeks making him cover his face with his hands, eclipse chuckled and put the plate of food on a nearby chair, than crawled up solars body and plopped himself in solars lap, cupping his cheeks, “dont hide that pretty face baby” eclipse said softly, moving solars hands away from his face, which ultimately made solars rays begin spinning wildly

eclipse chuckled and leaned forward, wrapping his arms around solars neck, holding solar close while eclipse kissed him, solars hands met eclipses hips, holding him close as solar pulled eclipse flush against his body, leaning back against the wall and cupping eclipses cheek as they began softly making out, it was slow, sweet, and eclipse made no attempts to speed up, nor did solar, they just enjoyed kissing each other for a long while before they pulled apart, eclipse panting slightly as he looked at solar, and solar looked at eclipse, solar seeing those beautiful eyes meet his, and eclipse seeing his favorite part of solar, they both chuckled softly and held each other close, enjoying the closeness

eclipse stood there, hand covering his mouth as he stared at the things on the shelf, thinking to himself

“how do you seriously not know what he likes… you talked a bunch of times before you and him started dating!-“

eclipse groaned and dropped his head down, rubbing the bit between his eyes, annoyed. Eclipse looked back up, hoping to know what he should pick, he looked over after a second, saw something, than looked back before looking over again, seeing monty and earth

“Earth should know what solar likes- right..?”

eclipse thought for a moment before looking up again and sighing with a slight groan at the sight of the green gator talking to earth, he knew monty would try and make up some excuse to not have him talk to earth, but he needed to talk to earth, desperately, so, he forgot any minimal pride he had left, and walked up to earth and monty

eclipse walked up and stood infront of earth and monty quietly, hoping one of them started a conversation instead of him, “oh! hello eclipse, what’re you doing here?” earth asked sweetly, making eclipses stiff posture loosen before monty spoke, “yea? what’re you doin’ here?.” monty said, and eclipse could practically feel the anger simmering off of monty, “i just need to talk to earth monty, and its private, so can ya step out of-“ “im sure whatever it is it can include both of us” monty said, interrupting eclipse with a snap of the jaws, making eclipse sneer and smile forcefully “well it can’t! so please, step away” eclipse said, hands balling up, earth's eyes widened at eclipse saying ‘please’ but she smiled and looked at monty “can you please let me and eclipse talk for a moment monty?” earth asked sweetly, smiling at monty, to which monty sighed and nodded, walking away out of ears reach. Once eclipse was sure he was gone he immediately began asking Earth for help “Earth please tell me you know something about solar, any favorite candies?? bands? anything can I get him??” eclipse said, hoping earth would be able to help

earth blinked for a moment before chuckling, “well eclipse, for starters, hes not a big fan of candies, he likes some but not alot, if anything he likes saltier foods, so if your thinking about a gift of some sort, i suggest getting him some things, here, ill give you a list of things i know he likes and you can go off of that” earth said, beginning to make a list on a piece of paper, eclipses movements began to get a but quick, as he was desperate to get solar the gift before solar came over for the entire week

soon enough eclipse was in his car, staring at the list, tapping the drivers wheel as he thought and stared over the list, reading it repeatedly until he felt he might pass out from the car not even being turned on, to which he started the car and put the list into his pocket, staring at the wheel before getting a few ideas and pulling out, driving away and out the parking lot, driving to his first destination

at a hobby lobby, eclipse was looking through the crafts section

“god i hope the sun part of my coding is actually useful”

eclipse thought to himself as he picked out some beads and string, putting it into his basket and turning towards the fabric section, blinking at it before walking over and looking through the fabrics and picking some out, smiling and continuing forward with his search, getting some other things, paying, and getting into the car, and spending the rest of the day doing whatever

back at the plex, eclipse sat at his desk, trying to make some bracelets, one with his name, one with solars, he looked at his finger, which were shaking, he sighed a shaky exhale, and eventually finished, he stared at them for a moment before putting them into the bag

as eclipse paced back and forth, he waited patiently at the daycare ball-pit, looking up every second, and then eventually, eclipse saw them, those beautiful caramel eyes looking at him, he smiled and walked towards him, grabbing solars hand and kissing the top of his hand gently before leading solar to his part of the plex, he pushed solar onto his bed and dug through his closet and fell back, looking at solar and blinking

solar chuckled and stood up, helping eclipse up and didnt know what the bag was, eclipse looked at it and pushed it into solars chest, stepping back and watching solars face light up with the contents of the gift

what was in the bag? a bunch of heavily oversized t-shirts of things solar liked, his favorite snacks, and something solar adored heavily, was the bracelets eclipse had made, “if you dont like any of it i can get rid of all of it-“ eclipse said quickly, scrunching up his body before solar hugged him tightly “i love it eclipse, i love you” solar said, hugging eclipse tightly, eclipse stood there for a moment before he hugged back shakingly, hugging him close, feeling solar kiss his rays gently was oddly soothing to him, which made him smile widely.

!!TW!!: these motherfuckers get freaky frisky

eclipse sat there, squirming in place as moon explained something to him, he thought about solar, his thoughts trailing off the places he knew they shouldn’t have been, but they were, it had been half a year since eclipse and solar got together, and eclipse was already craving things he didn’t even understand well

solar was exactly the same, except he understood what it was, it was lust, he was wanting eclipse under him.. begging for more while he slowly kissed his rays, face, down further and further… OKAY ENOUGH

after work

Eclipse walked into his- no.. their room, he looked up and saw solar sitting there in a skin tight shirt, sweatpants.. he just looked good to eclipse

solar looked up and saw those sweet wild eyes again, and squirmed in his spot, he watched eclipse change into more comfortable clothing, and he looked even better somehow, he watched eclipse walk over, crawl up to him, and.. watched as eclipse looked up as he opened solars legs, eclipse crawled up solars body and sat in his lap, solar looked up at eclipse and watched his face flush before he sat back and covered his face, solar huffed a chuckle as he grabbed eclipses hips with one hand and put another behind eclipses head, pushing eclipse close and putting their lips together gently

eclipse blinked but leaned into the kiss, sighing into it, he felt solars tongue probing at his lips, to which he opened his mouth for solar, feeling solars tongue invade into his mouth eagerly yet slowly
