What can you do?

Summary:

After the mountain, what else could Clarke do, except marry powerful monarchs, for her and her peoples' own protection?

Notes:

Disclaimer: Do not own Marvel, DC or The 100

Warnings for mass murder, violence and gore, abandonment and trauma

And posting this on top of everything else, as in the "Natarke or Clartasha fandom," and "Wandarke fandom," and "Yelenarke" fandom, because those are Dinofuryjaws's suggestions for ship names for Clarke Griffin/Natasha Romanoff, Clarke Griffin/Wanda Maximoff, and Clarke Griffin/Yelena Belova

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

There were times when Clarke Griffin realized that she should have seen what she needed to do from the beginning.

To marry people that were entirely outside of the coalition and away from the rest of the Ark people.

Clarke had come to hate the people of the Ark, but she had come to hate the Grounders, as well, because the commander left Clarke and her people to die at Mount Weather.

Clarke had destroyed everyone in the mountain, and had left the Ark people, running into a new different kingdom where multiple different people ruled.

Zoe Monroe, and two Grounders, Anya and Niylah, all three women who fell in love with Clarke, followed after her, and so did Clarke’s best friend, Wells, and Finn Collins, who used to be Clarke’s boyfriend.

They followed her to the new kingdoms and now they were also under these new kingdoms’ protection.

And Clarke? Had married these new monarchs, who were outside of the coalition.

Clarke learned their names. Natasha Romanoff, Wanda Maximoff, Holly and Dawn Granger, Mari Jiwe McCabe, Hela Odinsdotter, Syvie Laufeysdotter, Shayera Hol, Carol Danvers, Yelena Belova, Peggy Carter, Melina Vostokoff, Helena Bertinelli, Dinah Lance, Diana Prince, Maria Hill, Kara Danvers, Jessica Jones, Elektra Natchios, Pepper Potts and others.

Clarke was married now to Niylah, Monroe and Anya, as well.

Clarke had never been happier.

Especially, after her new lovers had done what she thought to be impossible.

They first had killed everyone in the Ark community, who had hurt Clarke.

Her mother, Abby Griffin, who had mistreated her and had gotten her father, Jake Griffin, killed, Marcus Kane, who also helped and who had been happy to sacrifice Jake, Clarke and Wells, Octavia Blake and Raven Reyes and Nathan Miller, who had never been anything but verbally abusive to her.

And Bellamy Blake, who was a piece of absolute abusive shit, was tortured to death. Skinned alive, like he deserved.

His remains and his skin both, were fed to dogs, afterwards.

Then the Ark people were brought to their knees and forced to obey the new kingdoms, with Clarke as the empresses’ queen.

Murphy, who had threatened Clarke and Wells both, had been found, and had been murdered horribly by the soldiers under Clarke’s wives’ command, and they had killed Murphy’s girlfriend, Emori, too.

Then the coalition was brought to its knees, as well.

Clarke’s wives showed their weapons, and Lexa, despite wanting to get Clarke away from these people, had to surrender, and she walked away, as Clarke smiled cruelly at Lexa.

Clarke asked Lexa in a snide voice, “Don’t you want to give us your blessing, first, commander?”

Clarke noticed her wives grinning at Clarke for her cruelty.

Lexa paused, looked pained, but nodded and she said, “I give all of you my blessing, you, especially, Klark kom Skaikru. Or should I say now, Klark kom Warkrma?”

Warkrma was the name of the coalition of kingdoms where Clarke’s wives ruled.

Clarke nodded to Lexa as the commander walked away. She said, “Thank you, commander. For wishing us happiness. And thank you for leaving us at the mountain,” seeing Lexa tense and turn around, hurt, Clarke continued, “If you hadn’t left me at the mountain, I never would have met my wives. The women who I’m meant to be with for the rest of my life.”

Seeing the hurt in Lexa’s eyes, Clarke was satisfied as the commander left for Polis.

Clarke turned back to her wives and grinned at them, and she walked back to them, as they embraced her, each taking turns holding her, and they led her back to the kingdoms where Clarke and the rest of the Ark people would be safe now.

What else could Clarke do? Except accept her wives, for all they had done for her?

Notes:

This is just a one-shot, but I might do more since I really like a lot of the fics of these ships.

Seriously, this was a really vague story. So, if I do more, it will definitely have more details than what I put in this one story.
