Chapter Text

“Spend the night with me and hang out?”

Zoey wouldn’t have accepted the offer usually, but being drunk and having an attractive man in front of her had her acting differently.

She accepted his offer so quickly it was comedic and humiliating. Luckily, Romance didn’t seem to care; in fact, he seemed rather pleased judging by the grin on his face.

Maybe if she wasn’t drunk, she would’ve realized the man in front of her was her best friends boyfriend Romance.

Immediately, he got both of them into a bedroom within the building. Romance immediately got to work, his hands roaming all over her body as he made sure to touch every part from her chest to her waist, hips, thighs, and everywhere else. He was so skilled, Zoey felt her legs go weak as he caressed her back.

“Let’s take this to the bed, little bunny?”

He picked her up and dropped her onto the bed, sucking and nipping at her collarbone, touching every part he laid his eyes on.

The dress Zoey had on was in the way, so he skillfully took it off. He had to have done this a hundred times already, she thought, but her thoughts were interrupted when she let out a lewd moan. “Why the sad expression, love? I’m giving you something better now, after all,” Romance let out a chuckle. She felt like she could come right there. Hell, this man was sexy.

Romance got rid of his own clothes, slowly taking off every layer of clothing until he was completely naked. He used her liquid to coat himself and aligned himself with her, teasing her with the head of his cock around her sensitive opening.

“Don’t tease,” Zoey whined.

“Oh, but you look so pretty like this. Unless you want something else” Romance added, smirking.

“Oh gods, just fuck me-!” and her wish was granted as he pushed his length into her in an instant. The moan Zoey let out was more of a scream, a loud one. The hotel building had to have heard it loud and clear.

Romance started slow, picking up his pace and going quicker. The entire room was filled with nothing but the sounds of their bodies colliding and her loud moans. It didn’t take long for her to come undone, with him following behind.

Both being high in the aftermath, they didn’t even notice the fact that he came in her.

Zoey’s eyes opened slowly. She felt tired. Not just that she had slept poorly, but she felt physically exhausted in a way that sleep wouldn't fix. More than that, she felt sore. Her body ached.

She sat up and looked around the room. She didn't recognize where she was. Some sort of bedroom, or a hotel room.

No, now that Zoey realized that, it was obvious that this was a hotel room. But she still couldn't remember what had led her to this situation.

She was naked. Her clothes must be somewhere in the room, but she had never slept naked in her life and it was odd that she would start in an unfamiliar room.

Zoey stopped to think. Did she have amnesia? She still remembered herself to be Zoey of Huntrix. If she had amnesia, it was a limited case. She could remember everything, up through…

Rumi and Jinu got married last night. Her and The Saja Boys celebrated at the reception party. And then… Zoey couldn't remember. Had she gotten blackout drunk and collapsed in a someone's hotel room rather than her own? Unlikely. She was always aware of what she did while drunk, and she certainly wouldn't drink that much.

A lump of blankets on the other side of the bed shifted, which caught Zoey’s attention. But once she was looking at it, she realized it wasn't a mass of blankets.

It was a person.

It was Romance.

Mira’s boyfriend!

Zoey wanted to scream.

She quickly put two and two together. She was a math genius, after all.

No, rather, she began to remember.

They had a drinking competition at the reception. Drinking always made her very clingy? She might not have realized it at the time, but now it felt obvious. Clearly, there was something there, and it was on both sides.

His girlfriend, Mira, was in the middle of a dancing competition with Abby. Baby and Mystery were hyping them up while Rumi and Jinu were no where to be seen and wanted some alone time together.

She can't believe she betrayed her friends trust by sleeping with her boyfriend.

The next thing she remembered was they were making out in the girls bathroom. Touching each other and not caring about the consequences as the night was still young. He invited her into his hotel room and she agreed.

It was Romance suggestion.

Once they were in his hotel room, things happened quickly. It was a moment of weakness. Zoey would love to say she was coerced, that Romance had tricked her or that she was intoxicated and couldn't control herself, but no. She had made this choice with sober clarity, and she had no one to blame but herself.

Zoey hated herself. She hated herself so much she was ready to die on the spot.

Romance stirred again, then began to sit up. In a panic, Zoey grabbed the sheets nearest to her and bunched them up, covering her naked body. He would have seen everything already, but…

“Wuh…” Romance groaned. It seemed as if he was still waking up. A few moments later, he seemed to have the same realization of what had happened that Zoey had gone through moments before.

As the sleep left him and he became more awake, Romance began to blush. His expression wasn't one of anger, as it was for Zoey, but he was still obviously feeling rather confused.

“I…” He tried to speak, but gave up. Zoey continued to glare. “I'm sorry. You don't seem happy…”

“Of course I'm not happy! You Idiot!” Underneath the sheets, she tried kicking him, to no avail. In a low voice, she whispered, “I just slept with my best friends boyfriend.”

Romance opened and closed his mouth several times, trying to find some sort of response. Eventually, he could only whisper back, “Holy crap.”

“It’s— You’d—” Zoey was struggling to verbalize in her anger. Finally, she gave up and hung her head. “It was a mistake.”

Zoey wanted more than everything to be able to blame Romance for this, but she knew that wasn’t true.

She pulled one of the blankets over to her so that it covered her entire body, then stood up. She was going to take a shower. She felt dirty.

As she waited for the water to warm up, Zoey sat on the floor and thought. She felt dirty. That kept rolling around in her mind.

She didn’t feel tainted. She didn’t believe in any sort of purity around sex that needed to be preserved. Other people had sex in or out and marriage and that was fine. It wasn’t for her, but that was fine.

No, it wasn’t that she felt like some intangible line had been crossed or that she was ontologically changed by having had sex with him.
She felt dirty because she knew one of thse days Mira will find out. She had been so close to Romance last night, doing things she had never done before, and she could feel it across her body. She had done the bare minimum to clean herself up last night, but that wasn’t enough.

Zoey realized that the bathroom was getting steamy. The shower had been hot long enough. Without waiting more, she got up and immersed herself.

It was relieving when she was finally done. Her body felt cleansed, like some great impurity had been fixed.

Zoey came out wearing a towel. It was a better cover than loose blankets. Romance showered next, and that gave Zoey time to get dressed. It would have been for the best if she had brough new clothes with her, but that certainly wasn’t the most ill-advised part of this little adventure.

It also gave her time to think more.

Did she really want to keep thinking about this? It felt inevitable that this is all she would be able to think about for months to come anyway, so why not give herself a break?

Why not? Because she wasn’t that kind to herself.

She could curse Romance all she wanted, but it was worse to know that everything that had happened was also her fault. Romance had some blame, too, of course, but she couldn’t lay this all on him.

When Zoey heard the shower turn off, she tensed up. Surely, they would have to talk about this more, right? How would that go?

Zoey looked away while Romance got dressed.

Once they were both clothes and clean, they sat down at the small table by the window. Zoey didn’t want anything to do with that bed anymore. The hotel might as well burn out the entire room once they checked out. Rebuild it from the ashes.

“We're never talking about this again.”

And that's when he began the conversation.

“Right. Once we leave this room, none of this ever happened.”

“Yes.”

Zoey’s phone buzzed

It was a text from Mira

Mira: We're heading out for Brunch at the restaurant next door

Are u coming?

Zoey froze

She couldn't face Mira or Mystery. Not after What happened last night.

"I'm on my way! 🥰

She put her phone away. Romance must have gotten the same text from one of the Saja Boys.

"This is a disaster." Zoey whispered

"I know." Romance leaned back against his chair.

"I guess we have to face our consequences."

Romance nodded.

And that was that.

Zoey said her goodbyes to Romance and headed back to her own Room to put on her own clothes. She had no idea what will happen this point forward but she knew that she was in for an emotional roller-coaster.

"Cheers to the newlyweds!" Abby announced raising his glass of orange juice in the air. The group followed in suite as they celebrated Rumi and Jinu’s successful wedding day. Zoey sat in between Baby and Mystery while Mira sat across from her next to Abby and Romance. Rumi and Jinu were off on their honeymoon and wouldn't be back for a week.

"Who wants to bet they're making babies right now?" Baby asked with a mischievous grin.

"No Way," Mira replied in disbelief. "Rumi told me that she wouldn't want to get pregnant on her honeymoon because it would be obvious that they got down and dirty."

"They get down and dirty all the time!" Mystery said taking a sip of his orange juice.

Zoey sighed. "I'm so glad they're moving in the apartment below us.

Mira agreed shivering in disgust. "I know right, the disturbing things I hear every night is insane."

The group laughed.

"I'm glad Rumi and Jinu found each other and brought us all together. Without them falling and love and destroying Gwi-ma together, I wouldn't get to call you my family." Romance whispered softly. Zoey watched as Mira gently patted his hand in support. She felt sick to her stomach knowing she and Romance betrayed Mira. She couldn't even eat her chocolate croissant.

Baby nudged Zoey causing her to jump back into reality. She turned to look at him. "Are you going to eat that?" He asked, pointing to her plate of fruit sitting there untouched.

Zoey shrugged. "Knock yourself out,"

"Thank you, Zoey." He replied.

Zoey turned her attention back to Romance who was typing something on his phone, she didn't know what he was doing until she got his message.

Romance: I need to tell her

Zoey looked up in shock. Mystery was in the restroom, Baby was eating his fruit she gave him, and Abby and Mira were occupied watching videos of people falling in public places.

Zoey: Why now?

Romance: Because the more we wait, the harder things will become later down the line.

Zoey: But I'm not ready for whatever happens.

Romance: I know

Romance: its going to hurt knowing I betrayed someone I love

Zoey: I'm starting to wish time machines were a thing

Romance: What’s a Time Machine?

Zoey rolled her eyes.

Zoey: Let’s get this over with.

"Hey Mira!" Zoey jumped out of her seat.

"What’s up Zoey?" Mira replied. She was trying to hold in her laughter from watching people fall. Zoey smiled slightly knowing this could possibly be the last time hearing Mira laugh.

"Romance and I need to tell you something important so let's go outside." Zoey muttered under her breath.

Mira looked out the window confused. "But it's raining out there."

"Ooh, the rain will make things more dramatic." Zoey replied getting up from her chair. Mira must've noticed how monotone she sounded but kept that thought to herself.

Romance, Mira, and Zoey were now all alone together in the cold pouring rain. There was an uncomfortable silence between them. Mira looked at Zoey and Romance with a confused look.

"What do you need to tell me?" Mira groaned in annoyance while Zoey and Romance avoided small talk.

Romance looked at Mira, his eyes filling up with tears and regret. Zoey took a deep breath.

"Zoey and I got so drunk at Rumi and Jinu’s reception party." Romance muttered under his breath but only enough for Zoey and Mira to hear.

Mira’s jaw dropped. "Are you saying what I think you’re saying?" Her voice cracked. She turned to Zoey for confirmation.

Zoey nodded, her eyes completely tearing up."We slept together."

"WHAT!" A new voice appeared, the trio turned around to see Baby and Mystery at the doorway, their Jaws dropped out of complete shock.

Zoey looked at Mystery with deep regret. She has a huge crush on him and finding out that she slept with one of his band mates must've hurt him deeply. The silence was broken by Romance.

"Mira, I know what I done was wrong and I completely understand that our relationship might end right now. Just know that I'm not searching for forgiveness because I was completely aware of what occurred."

Mira nodded. "I don't forgive you, and I need lots of Time to process."

A tear ran down Romance's cheek. "I understand."

Baby gasped in shock. "So is your relationship officially over?"

Abby who was now at the scene, elbowed Baby in his ribcage.

"Of course it's over!" Abby rolled his eyes.

"I was just making sure."

"Shouldn't you guys pay for our breakfast?" Romance muttered sadly.

"Already got it covered." Baby replied.

Romance took one more look at Mira who was staring sadly at the ground. He knew she wouldn't be giving him another chance to get back together. So he didn't want to fight to prove his love all over again.

"We have to pack up so we can fly back home. So let's get out things together." Romance quietly whispered as he walked back towards their hotel. Mira nodded in silence as the remaining Saja Boys looked at her with sympathy because she was like family to them, things were certainly going to be different when Huntrix and The Saja Boys go back to their daily routine.

Zoey and Mira were alone together and you can cut the tension with a knife. Zoey was about to say something but Mira simply walked away, probably back to her hotel room to pack, or cry, maybe both.

Zoey was left alone in the pouring rain with regret and a sinking feeling that she had just lost her best friend.

Chapter Text

It has been a week since Rumi and Jinu went on their honeymoon and now Mira was picking the newlyweds up from the airport while Bobby and Zoey were setting up decorations for their new home.

In the hallway Mira was covering Rumi’s eyes trying to guide her in the right direction while Jinu followed behind the girls carrying their luggage not even breaking a sweat.

"Why do I need to close my eyes, I've lived in this apartment complex for half of my life?" Rumi asked trying not to stumble around.

"That maybe true but this is your first time living on your own but this time you have a husband whom you'll be making memories with, for better or for worse."

"And I can't wait to make lots of memories with you Rumi." Jinu said. He could already tell Rumi was blushing at his words.

"I love you Jinu." Rumi replied. She couldn't contain her smile.

"I'm so single right now." Mira muttered under her breath.

What did you just say?" Rumi replied in shock.

Mira brushed it off.

"We're here!" Mira announced.

She pulled her hands away from Rumi’s eyes and took a step back. In front of them was the door to their apartments where Rumi and Jinu would spend the rest of their married life in, hosting movie nights, listening parties for their music, and eventually starting a family together. Mira was completely excited that her best friend was growing up.

"Are you guys ready?" Mira asked. She reached in her pocket holding the key the unlocked the door and held it out.

Rumi immediately took it and excitedly looked at Jinu for support. "I've been dreaming about this moment and there's no one else I'd rather share it with." Rumi blushed. Jinu leaned in slowly kissing Rumi’s forehead.

"Let’s open it together," Jinu said whispering in Rumi’s ear. They held the key and inserted it into the keyhole. Once they heard a click, they officially opened the door.

Mira smiled as she watched Rumi and Jinu take a step into their first apartment together. From the outside she heard Bobby and Zoey yell: "SURPRISE" as the couple stepped inside. They obviously used confetti poppers because Zoey convinced Bobby that it could be more exciting.

Mira stepped inside and closed the door behind her. She looked around the new home that Zoey and Bobby decorated. In her opinion the furniture from the living room to the kitchen really captures a part of the married couples personality.

"I can't believe you guys did this for us!" Rumi laughed as she immediately grabbed Bobby and Zoey to give them a big hug.

"Of course we would," Zoey replied casually giving Jinu a hug when she and Rumi pulled apart. "We're sisters, we stand by each other forever."

"Isn't that Right Mira?" Zoey asked.

Mira frowned a bit but smiled at Rumi doing anything she could to avoid looking at Zoey no matter how much pain she caused her. "That’s right, we're a big family."

Rumi looked at Jinu confused sensing some tension between Zoey and Mira. But luckily Jinu read her mind and understood what she was thinking.

Before anyone could speak, Bobby’s phone buzzed faintly.

"That’s the cake from the bakery," Bobby announced. "I'm going to head over there and pick it up."

And just like that, he ran out the door leaving the four friends alone.

"We're so glad you guys made it home safely!" Zoey jumped happily pushing Rumi and Jinu onto the couch. "There’s a lot we need to catch up on."

"So much," Mira mumbled.

Zoey frowned slightly.

"Okay, what's going on?" Rumi stared at Zoey and then back at Mira.

"What do you mean?"

"Everything's fine."

Zoey and Mira replied at the same time.

Jinu shook his head.

"Why do you guys look like someone died?" Rumi asked.

Zoey looked at Mira who was still avoiding looking at her. She couldn't lie Rumi and Jinu when they already suspected the tension between her and Mira. The truth is that she's afraid Rumi might abandon her for the scandalized thing she did but she knew deep down she deserves it.

"I was drunk at your reception party and Romance and I slept together." Zoey revealed.

Rumi and Jinu’s face went from confusion to pure shock. Mira on the other hand looked like she was going to tear up.

"Romance and I broke up," Mira added. She cleared her throat hiding away the hurt she's been feeling.

Rumi gasped. She was left speechless. Her brain was trying to comprehend that shocking information that didn't make any sense to her.

Jinu on the other hand made a mental note to talk to Romance.

"Do we need to take a month hiatus until we can figure this out?" Rumi asked.

Mira nodded. "I know we took this month long hiatus for your wedding but I desperately need another hiatus until I can feel myself again."

Rumi nodded wordlessly as she was feeling Mira lingering sadness. "When Bobby gets back I'll talk to him."

"Thanks for understanding Rumi," Mira mumbled as she walked towards the door. She turned to look at Rumi and Jinu with pleading eyes desperately wanting to leave.

"I'll see you later Mira," Rumi said. And that's when Mira quickly went out the door. That left Zoey, Rumi, and Jinu alone.

Rumi turned her whole body to look at Zoey.

"Zoey," Rumi looked at her with no judgment. "I know you wouldn't deliberately hurt Mira by sleeping with her boyfriend or anyone else's boyfriend."

Zoey nodded.

"I'm just going to guess that you and Romance had a lot to drink that night and got carried away." Jinu furrowed his brow.

Zoey nodded again. "We were both aware of our actions and didn't want to stop."

"I understand," Rumi muttered.

"Do you guys think I'm a terrible person?" Zoey asked blinking her tears away.

"No, but you just made a terrible choice," Jinu admitted.

"We're not going to abandon you," Rumi said gently. "We're family, we'll be there for each other through hard times."

Tears welled up in Zoey’s eyes. She pounced on Rumi and Jinu and trapped them in a tight hug. She didn't deserve their sympathy but Rumi and Jinu prove that no one will be left our. And she knows deep down that they'll be perfect parents in the future.

Chapter Text

It had been three weeks since Mira’s entire world turned upside down. The reality of her ex boyfriend and her ex best friend getting drunk and sleeping together was the worst feeling in the world. Of course, Mira had been in a few relationships where she was cheated on but they were never as serious until Romance came along. She thought she had finally found someone that would want to spend the rest of her life with forever. And Zoey, one of her best friends, the one who never takes life too seriously. The one who could always make her laugh whenever she was in a bad mood. She was mad at her. She trusted her no matter what but now all that trust flew out the window into a trash bin of betrayal.

And worst of all Mira was becoming one of those girls that message their ex because she wants closure and an explanation. She just wanted to get hit by a bus at this point.

A light knock interrupted her brooding.

"Mira are you still alive in there?" Rumi’s soft voice came from the other side of her bedroom door.

"Come in," Mira mumbled loud enough.

Once Rumi took her cue to come inside, Mira took notice that Rumi was hiding something in her hands, not only that but Rumi’s wedding band shined brightly on her finger and she couldn't help but envy her and Jinu.

"I was wondering if you want to go out for some Ice cream," Rumi said holding up a coupon to an ice-cream parlor she was gifted as a wedding present from Baby.

"You need to get out once in a while and stretch and get some sunlight." Rumi laughed nervously.

Mira shook her head.

Rumi frowned. "That bad huh?"

"The worst thing to ever happened to me."

Rumi didn’t say anything, she just made herself comfortable on Mira’s empty side of the bed. All she could do at the moment was be there for her friends. Rumi was never one to pick sides when it came to drama, unlike Mira and Zoey who got invested. She was someone who has empathy for both parties no matter how insane it got on the outside.

Rumi felt a familiar silhouettes and smiled.

"My babies have arrived." Rumi announced.

"What babies?" Mira asked, she quickly sat up to look at Rumi.

Derpy and Sussie were by Rumi’s side.

Mira let out a sigh of relief. "Don’t scare me like that," Mira lighty pushed Rumi’s shoulders. "I thought you and Jinu had a secret baby out already, I just didn't expect that you meant your spirit fur babies."

"I apologize for freaking you out," Rumi laughed.

She watched as Derpy immediately went to Mira’s side to give her moral support.

He was asking for some pets. Mira smiled and started petting the fluffy blue tiger.

"He's so therapeutic." Mira laughed.

Rumi nodded.

Sussie squawked as if to say "Why is he always the favorite?"

"So, I was able to convince Bobby to get us four month off." Rumi announced.

"That sounds great." Mira muttered.

"Make that four more since Zoey recently caught a really bad case of pneumonia and who knows how long she'll get better."

Mira frowned, Zoey had gotten pneumonia before but no matter how upset she was with Zoey, she hoped for a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, Zoey let herself in Rumi and Jinu’s apartment. She was greeted by Jinu, Baby, and Mystery. She frowned when Mystery didn't look at her.

"What brings you by?" Jinu asked as he pulled her into a hug.

Jinu gave such good hugs in her opinion.

But she quickly pulled away in panic.

"I have pneumonia," Zoey announced in a panic. "I don't want to get you sick!"

Jinu blinked and shook his head. "Demon's don't get sick."

"Can confirm!" Baby yelled from across the living room but was in the middle of playing his video game.

Zoey laughed.

"Rumi told me she left me some medicine in her bathroom so I'm just here to retrieve them and then I'll be on my way."

Jinu nodded. "Well, You're always welcome here anytime."

"Thank you Jinu," Zoey smiled.

And now Zoey was off on a mission. Of course, Rumi had bought her some medicine and wanted her to stop by. But lately she was throwing up every morning and was nauseated. She knew those were signs of pregnancy symptoms which is why she stopped by.

Zoey knew that Rumi kept a bunch of pregnancy tests due to having a bunch of pregnancy scares she and Jinu had gone through over the years. It was no secret that Rumi and Jinu were alway reckless when they had sex but having a kid out of wedlock was looked down upon in the Idol life. But thanks to Jinu, he revealed that he wanted to get her pregnant and that the media shouldn't be surprised when that moment happens.

Once Zoey did her business on the stick, she sat down on the toilet.

"Everything will be alright," Zoey said to herself. "It's probably nothing."

But what if she was pregnant? That thought scared her. She knew Romance was the father. How would he react? Lots of emotions were running through her mind but the other part of her was convinced she wasn't pregnant. But she had the answers in the hands to confirm everything.

Once enough time had passed, she opened the box.

Zoey looked at the white stick in her hands.

There were two lines visible.

She was pregnant.

"Is this some sort of joke?" Zoey asked.

She knew it wasn't a joke. It was the consequences of her actions for one amazing night of fun that she deeply regrets

"Mira’s going to hate me."

And for once in her life, Zoey didn't know what to do.

Zoey slowly trudged down the hallway, her pregnancy test was stuffed into the hoodie of her sweatshirt. She clutched the plastic bag full of medicine. Her thoughts were all over the place. She was pregnant and Romance was the father. She just wanted the ground to swallow her right then and there.

She came to a full stop heading towards the living room. The front door opened and Rumi stepped into view. She watched was her friends eyes lit up once Jinu greeted her.

"How's my beautiful wife doing?" Jinu asked as her pulled Rumi into a hug.

"Better now that you're here with me," Rumi replied. "I just went to see how Mira’s doing."

"And how is she holding up?" Jinu asked cautiously. Rumi could tell he was trying not to worry about Mira. They always butted heads but they've grown to love each other for Rumi’s sake.

Rumi sighed as Jinu pulled her towards the couch, their fingers intertwined and she leaned her head on his broad shoulders. "Let's just say this is one of the worst post break up blues from her that I've ever had to deal with," Rumi responded. "But Derpy and Sussie are giving her some tlc and she's feeling better thanks to their help."

Jinu gave her a supportive smile. "That’s good to hear."

"Yeah," Rumi whispered. "We just need to take things one baby steps at a time."

Zoey decided it was time to make her appearance know.

"Hey Rumi." Zoey cleared her throat causing the married couple to turn their attention towards their friend.

Rumi gave her a sweet smile as she noticed Zoey got her medicine that she ordered. "Hey Zoey," Rumi waved. "I see you got the stuff you needed."

Zoey’s eyes started to tear up causing Rumi to quickly jump off the couch and make her way towards her band mate and pull her into a tight hug.

"Zoey what's wrong?" Rumi asked.

At this moment Zoey pulled out the pregnancy test from her sweatshirt pocket and held it up for Rumi to see.

Zoey looked over at Jinu with pleading eyes. "Can you give me Romance's address," She asked. "I don't want to keep this a secret from him."

"I'll send you the address." Jinu replied pulling both Rumi and Zoey into a group hug. This made Zoey smile. She was glad Rumi and Jinu were there to support her and not kick her to the curb after betraying Mira.

"Would you like to have a sleepover?" Rumi asked with clear excitement. "We could bake cookies!"

Jinu shook his head and smiled. "Am I getting kicked out of my own home?" He teased.

Zoey happily ate her chocolate covered apple slices that she was suddenly craving that Rumi had agreed to order for her. She had offered Rumi and Jinu to try some but they refused because it was for her only. And then she started crying which caused the couple to try for themselves. Let's just say it wasn't that bad and they found a snack that was sweet and Juicy at the same time. Jinu joked that he would volunteer to try out Zoey’s pregnancy cravings but Zoey refused because it's basically his duty to try Rumi’s pregnancy cravings, Rumi couldn’t help but agree with her.

Rumi’s phone buzzed showing a text Bobby just sent her.

Just knowing Bobby always worked so hard to take care of her and the girls their entire life gave Zoey a relief knowing that he will also be around for her child and maybe someday Rumi and Jinu’s future kids and all be one big happy family. But her family would be incomplete without Mira by her side, and Romance needing to know that she was pregnant with his baby. The next day after telling Bobby about her unexpected news, Jinu and Rumi had convinced Zoey to talk to Romance about her pregnancy. It had been months against since Huntrix and The Saja Boys had been together as a whole group since Rumi and Jinu’s wedding day. Obviously Huntrix is on an eight month hiatus for Mira’s mental health, Zoey’s unexpected pregnancy, and Rumi enjoying married life with Jinu. Meanwhile, the Saja Boys are in the studio working on some new music so they have been very busy.

In Rumi and Jinu’s apartment, the group was spread out. "Because he seems to regret his actions more than you at this point!" Mira yelled as she started to climb up the stairs.

She handed Rumi her phone.

Abby and Jinu appeared with the Flowers and Box of chocolate truffles. Awkwardly smiling at Mira.

Mira laughed. "Is my date Jinu?"

Rumi crossed her arms protectively around Jinu and pouted.

"Sorry but I married this guy." Rumi smiled as Jinu leaned forward to kiss Rumi on her lips.

Abby stepped forward eagerly holding out his arm which Mira took. "You're my date for the day." He replied.

Mira nodded as Rumi and Jinu took the lead for their unplanned double date. Anything to help her feel better about the awful day she's been having.

In Rumi’s mind, Operations: 'Get Mira out of the house by going on a fun double date so she could forget the destruction that Zoey caused in the past few months' was currently working in her favor. She was delighted that Mira was genuinely smiling and having a good time. The squad took a trip to visit a carnival that was in town two hours away by taking a train together. Abby wanted to be in charge of the map but he took two wrong turns before Jinu decided to take over for him by teleporting the whole group behind an empty alley.

Abby made it his mission to buy Mira whatever she wanted. He won her one of those huge stuffed animals by winning those rigged ring toss games which she appreciated. Rumi couldn’t help but laugh because Mira hated that type of couples who would do that but know she was experiencing it for the first time.

Eventually they decided to rest on a hillside while Rumi and Jinu offered to buy some food from one of the stands. It gave Rumi some time to think about what's been going on with her friends.

"Are you okay baby?" Jinu whispered softly in her ear. She felt his arms slowly wrapped protectively around her waist, a gesture that he's done many times that made her relax in his arms.

"Just thinking about what's happening between Mira and Zoey." Rumi replied as she let the warmth of Jinu’s body heat take over. "I feel like I could've done more to prevent this from happening."

Jinu raised a brow from confusion but then he saw Rumi reach into her jacket pocket and pulled out a bottle. He let go of Rumi and took a step back. Confused by the sudden change in Jinu’s demeanor, she noticed Jinu’s panic look.

"No, I'm not sick at all." The younger girl replied with confidence. "Romance asked me to help him ask Mira out so I found this voodoo shop that sells love potions and the owner of the store says that they work so I'm helping them fall in love."

Rumi didn’t looked as convinced

"Why does the bottle say it can cause greediness of wanting said lover who wants another person?" Rumi stared at the bottle like it was playing a trick on her eyesight. They really needed to have the talk about what's real and fake before buying unrealistic material.

Zoey crossed her arms and pouted. "They like to reuse old bottles."

"Okay but I don't think it's a good idea to drink the potion." At this point Rumi was desperately trying to convince Zoey to consider not using it to set Romance and Mira up. "Why don't you let them fall in love naturally?"

"Because the old fashioned way is so overrated," Zoey giggled. "Why not make love very interesting?"

Rumi sighed in defeat knowing how stubborn Zoey was going to be and how their conversation was going in complete circles at this point.

Abby snapped his finger to get rid of the memory.

"Rumi can you do that?" Mira asked.

"I'm not so sure?" Rumi replied.

Jinu cleared his throat catching the girls attention.

"Zoey has been poisoned by a love potion that Gwi-ma created millions of years ago."

Mira and Rumi gasped.

"Of course Gwi-ma is the cause of this," Mira scoffed. "Even when he's gone he ruined everything."

"Why would he create a love potion?" Rumi asked.

Abby chimed in. "Let’s just say he was in love with a demon that he couldn't have so he created a love potion to tell her how he felt about her but once she drank it she fell in love with the first demon she saw and it wasn't Gwi-ma."

"They are married till this day." Jinu jumps in.

Rumi shook her head. "I didn't know someone like Gwi-ma would fall in love."

Jinu just smiled. "Niether can I but I fell in love with you and I didn't think I deserved to have you."

Rumi blushed. "By any chance did he make a reversed love potion that hopefully works?"

"We can search at the voodoo shop where Zoey bought it." Abby suggested.

"What about Romance?" Mira asked. "Zoey gave him the potion as well because when I came home from the gym that day he was drinking something."

"He seems affected but not as much as Zoey does." Jinu pointed out.

"Do you think Celine could help us out on this?" Rumi stared at the bottle in her hands. "She’s experienced everything as a demon hunter maybe she knows something."

"Let’s just hope she's not hiding all the important information that we need." Mira muttered under her breath enough for Rumi to hear.

"We could meet with her tomorrow," Abby spoke up. "Right now I want to have a church and ride the ferris wheel!"

Jinu shook his head and smiled as he held out his hand for Rumi to take. He admired how shiny her wedding band was on her ring finger. "I always wanted to ride the ferris-wheel."

Rumi giggled as Abby and Mira raced ahead of them like energetic children.

"You know," Rumi whispered in Jinu’s ear seductively. "That’s not the only thing I'm going to ride tonight."

"You are so in trouble when we get back home." Jinu growled.

The double date was a complete success and they even planned for another one next week.

Zoey had officially hit two months of pregnancy and her baby bump was showing, it was completely noticeable to her friends around her but thanks to demon magic with the help from Jinu and Romance she looked completely normal in the public eye.

Romance declared that they should start getting ready for their baby's arrival and set up a room for their little one. Thanks to Zoey’s hormonal state, she did some online shopping for cribs, Baby onesies, and lots of toys for them to play with even though it was a possible choking hazard. They just needed to figure out where it was going to go.

They decided on two options. Romance was living in a three bedroom apartment with two guests bedrooms that was occasionally used when the Saja Boys needed a place to stay. Zoey had officially moved in last month and they already felt like a family that was meant to be together. The second option was using Rumi’s old bedroom now that Rumi has a place of her own with Jinu. The younger girl knew that Rumi wouldn't really mind that a small infant was taking over her old room, Rumi still has a few things that she needed to get and bring up to her new home. So it was the perfect plan in Zoey’s mind.

A couple weeks later, Rumi and Jinu were back in her old room packing the stuff that she left behind in boxes. Jinu could tell that she was trying not to get emotional so he told her to take a break and they sat down on her old bed.

"You know," Rumi said as she rested her head on his shoulder for a little comfort. "I used to crochet on that desk in the corner whenever I was stressed out."

"Did you really?" Jinu replied with a chuckle as he took her hand. "You should get back into that hobby." He kissed the back of her hand as his wife continued to get sentimental.

Rumi smiled as she pointed over at the balcony door that led outside. "And over there an annoying demon would send over his tiger and bird so we could secretly meet up and would occasionally show up with a picnic date."

"You know you liked it." Jinu shot back in response as he crossed his arms proudly.

Rumi tried her best not to look at him but failed as she leaned forward to kiss his cheek.

Her hand patted the bed that she was sitting on.

"I slept on this bed." Rumi said.

Jinu let out a shrug. "Where else are you supposed to sleep on?"

"Oh hush Jinu," Rumi replied with an eye roll. "You brag about me all the time."

"Not about our sex life." He mumbled but let out a laugh when she punched him on the shoulder. He really loved to tease her at any given moment whenever he had the opportunity.

"Anyway," Rumi glared at Jinu. "We broke the bed when I was riding you."

"I give up," Jinu replied as his lips crashed into her unexpectedly. Before Rumi could kiss him back, Jinu pulled away from the kiss and started to unbutton his shirt. Rumi got the hint and her clothes were all over the place.

Once he was fully naked, Jinu pounced on her like she was her prey. Their bodies moved in sync and kisses grew hungrier. They both didn't care that Zoey or Romance could possibly walk in at any moment, all that matters to them was each other at the moment.

In the living room, Zoey was holding up a cute little onesie for her future baby. She noticed Romance with a serious expression on his face as he approached her.

"Honey what's wrong?" Zoey asked with concern.

Romance shook his head. "Don’t go in the bedroom?

Zoey raised an eyebrow. "Why not?"

"Let’s just say Jinu is having a good time between Rumi’s legs."

"Oh I completely understand," Zoey replied casually. "Rumi is obsessed with Jinu’s tongue and she gets really loud which is why Mira was happy she and Jinu were moving in together."

"You should've seen then when she lived with him after the Gwi-ma fiasco and the Idol Awards," Romance let out a disturbed shudder. "They were fucking each other like animals in public places and he would never give us a heads up."

Zoey looked at him confused. "I thought she lost her virginity the night he proposed to her on their two week getaway."

Romance raised a brow and his head tilted like a puppy. "I think they've been doing it for way longer than the trip."

Zoey let out a dramatic gasp after realizing that she missed the actual details of Rumi losing her virginity. "Why would she lie about it?"

"Because you and Mira were against demons and she was secretly falling in love with one even though she knew that no one in her life would approve." Romance replied.

"Ohhh," Zoey laughed awkwardly. "That makes a lot more sense."

Romance let out a nod as he sat down next to her, his hand moves over to her baby bump. Zoey blushed at his gestured.

"I'm so glad that I get to spend the rest of my life with you." Zoey said kissing his cheek. "Loving you was the best thing that could ever happen to me."

Romance looked at her with a grin. "I love you Zoey."

"I love you too Romance," Zoey laughed leaning towards Romance for a quick kiss.

Her heart fluttered everytime he compliments her, every time they would make love at the end of the day, every time they share a kiss. It was like the universe sent him to be her soul mate for life and they were a few months away from meeting their baby that would make their life feel complete.

A few hours later Rumi stumbled towards the kitchen with Jinu following right behind her. Her usual hair style was a complete mess, her clothes were wrinkled, and her neck was covered in red marks that she didn't even bother to hide with makeup. Zoey who was in the kitchen making some Ramen, stared at her with a knowing look that Rumi couldn’t avoid even if she tried.

Zoey slowly clapped her hands getting ready to tease Rumi.

"Did you two have fun in there?" Zoey cackled.

Rumi looked around avoiding Zoey’s eyes. "I'm not sure what you're talking about?" Rumi replied staring at the clock on the wall.

"Oh really?" Zoey blinked and turned towards Jinu. "Did she have a lot of fun?"

"She was really enjoying herself." Jinu looked at Rumi with amusement as she glared daggers in his direction. "In fact, the moment we get back home I have something planned for her."

Rumi’s jaw dropped as her hand rested on his chest. "What do you mean by that?" The Half Demon looked concerned by his sudden announcement. But Jinu didn't answer, he gave her a quick peck on her lips and winked before heading back to the living room where Romance had finished the baby crib.

Rumi slowly turned to look at Zoey with a grin and pointed over to Jinu’s direction. "I love it when he gets mysterious," Rumi said softly. "He just turns me on every time I look at him."

Zoey happily squealed as she handed Rumi a bowl of Ramen.

"You two just can't keep your hands off each other." Zoey replied as she sat down on the chair across from Rumi.

"It's such a shame that Mira couldn't join us with the baby stuff," Zoey frowned slightly as she mixed up her noodles with her chopsticks. "Where is she anyways?"

"She’s out on a date with Abby." Rumi announced as she took a few bites of her noodles.

Zoey’s eyes widened with shock and quickly jumped up from her seat as she grabbed Rumi’s arm. "Excuse me?" Rumi stared at Zoey with a raised eyebrow. "Since when did Abby and Mira become an item?" Her hands flapped around dramatically.

The Half Demon blinked as her hand brushed Zoey’s hand away from her arm that was squeezing onto her a little tight. Jinu may have left some bruises during their heated sessions, nothing too concerning but she was feeling some soreness heading her way.

"Well," Rumi said thinking back. "It was the night you told everyone that you and Romance were expecting and you hurt Mira’s feelings and sent her a video proving that he loved you more than Mira."

Rumi just rolled her eyes thinking about how ridiculous her life was getting dealing with some drama that she was trying to keep the girls from falling apart.

"Anyways," Rumi muttered under her breath. "We went on a double date and eventually Mira and Abby realized how much they value each other’s company and wanted to see what happens from there, and so far she's really happy."

"Why hasn't she told me?" Zoey gasped dramatically feeling a little hurt that she was kept in the dark on this huge news.

Rumi stared at her like she grew three heads.

"Didn’t you sleep with her boyfriend?" Rumi asked.

"No," Zoey argued. "Romance and I were completely into each other and we just needed Mira to get out of the way so we could be together." Zoey pouted stubbornly.

Rumi let out an awkward cough as she wrote down some notes on her phone. "Mira will come around eventually," The Half Demon replied giving Zoey a little tap on her hand. "You just need to give her some space for her to come back to you."

"I guess you're right," Zoey said quietly as she slowly sat back down on her chair.

Rumi and Zoey continued to enjoy their ramen in complete silence. Although it was not the same without Mira, Zoey was hopeful that Mira wouldn't be stubborn in forgiving her for something that she didn't feel guilty about. Hopefully they'll be on big family and they will be stronger than ever.

Chapter Text

It wasn't that long before Rumi decided that now was the best time for Celine to know what's going on. Rumi had advised Celine to stop by her apartment for an emergency situation that needed to be sorted out with her help. She was relieved to know that Celine was available and that she's on her way over.

Jinu had to pull her aside and make her take a seat on the couch with how much his wife was pacing around the apartment and making sure the place was clean for Celine’s visit.

He made her do some breathing exercises that he taught her to do whenever she was feeling overwhelmed or stressed out. Once she was able to function properly, Jinu protectively took both of her hands and looked at her. "Hey," Jinu began now that Rumi’s head was clear and able to focus. "I know things have been hard lately, but we are going to do everything we can to bring our family together." Jinu said softly as if he was making a promise. Rumi nodded slowly, even though she wasn't aware of what was happening between her friends due to wedding planning, she was aware about Zoey using a love potion to help her confess her feelings for Mystery, but ended up having feelings for Romance who was confessing to Mira. She just wants everything to go back to normal at this point.

"I hope we can fix this problem Jinu," Rumi muttered quietly. "I just hope thing will be easy to fix."

Jinu smiled at her. "Once this situation is resolved I made a reservation for another two week getaway."

"You did what now?" Rumi stared at him with shock.

"I just want my wife relaxed on a beautiful night out on the beach," Jinu replied sheepishly. "How does that sound to you?"

"That’s sounds like a lot of fun," Rumi said.

"Is there a but?" Jinu groaned as he threw his hands up in the air in defeat."

"But," Rumi said In a mockingly way. "We barely left our cabin due to us having sex."

Jinu scoffed at her answer. "We can have sex outdoors this time."

"What if people see us Jinu?" Rumi stared at him with wide eyes.

"Hasn't stopped us before," Jinu laughed as Rumi punched his arm.

The Half Demon crossed her arms and pouted stubbornly.

"I guess I could buy some cute bikinis and lingerie for our trip," She smirked at Jinu and shrugged. "Let’s have our second honeymoon."

Jinu leaned in to kiss Rumi on the mutual decision that they made. He knew she really needed some time away from the city and the drama around her.

Before they could discuss any further vacation details, The elevator door automatically opened up showing the elderly lady in their view.

"Celine," Rumi said with relief as she and Jinu went over to greet her. "Thank goodness you're here."

"I have been told a major problem that needs to be fixed." Celine replied as she took a seat on the couch with Rumi and Jinu across from her. "What seems to be the issue?"

Rumi looked up at the ceiling trying to figure out how to tell Celine the news without sounding like she needed to go into an insane asylum.

"So Zoey wanted to help Romance ask Mira out for my wedding and used a love potion so they could get the courage to as Mystery and Mira out. Romance was able to date Mira but he was having an affair with Zoey and they slept together and now Zoey’s two months pregnant."

Celine looked at Rumi like she grew another head.

"Are you describing a K-drama that you're watching or is this actually happening?"

"Oh its happening," Jinu said dryly.

"Do you know how to reverse the love potion?" Rumi stared at Celine with pleading eyes.

"Of course I do," Celine said awkwardly fidgeting with her hands. " I attempted to use one on your mother."

"That will be a story for another day," Rumi muttered as she took out the bottle of love potion and handed it over to Celine. "Do you think you can create the potion again?"

Celine nodded. "Sure, but it's mainly around the mountain and lake area outside of Seoul."

"Derpy and Sussie could help you out with the search." Jinu said as he pointed over at the animals who were napping together.

"That would most likely be useful." Celine stared at the sleepy animals.

She looked over at Rumi needing an answer.

"Did you say Zoey was pregnant?" Celine asked.

"Mm-hmm," Rumi nodded. "She’s two months pregnant at the moment.

"You're mother was three months pregnant with you but I was told you can't use it when you're expecting a child."

"That makes sense in a way," Rumi sighed in defeat. "We could still use it on Romance right?"

"I could save the ingredients for Zoey but we can use it on Romance right away." Celine stared at Rumi with sympathy.

"Do whatever you can." Rumi smiled with determination.

Celine said her goodbye to Rumi and Jinu and left with Derpy and Sussie trailing behind her. They were one step closer to help Zoey and Romance go back to normal. Hopefully everything will be easy in the end.

Meanwhile in Mystery's apartment, Baby and Mystery were sitting together in front of the computer. They were assigned by Jinu to promote their upcoming album to keep them busy. It was mainly because Mystery wanted to take his mind off Zoey for a while.

Baby nodded and turned back to the livestream and his eyes widened as he turned to look at Mystery.

"We forgot to mute our mic." Baby raised a brow.

Mystery cleared his throat. "Our time is us so we're going to work on some new music in the meantime so stay tuned everyone!"

The live went out as they closed the computer.

"We are in big trouble!!!" Baby muttered under his breath for Mystery to hear.

"We need to tell the others." Mystery replied as he gathered his stuff.

They texted the group chat to meet at Rumi and Jinu’s apartment for an emergency meeting and they were on their way.

Chapter Text

Abby and Mira were first to show up at Rumi and Jinu’s apartment considering she was two floors above her. They had received Mystery's text in the group chat for an emergency meeting which seemed to be serious. Rumi was the first to greet Abby and Mira giving them a quick hug. It was obvious that neither group knows what is going on.

"How did the talk with Celine go?" Mira asked as she and Abby sat down on the couch with Rumi and Jinu following after them.

"Really good actually," Rumi replied with confidence filled in her voice. "Celine is currently finding the ingredients for the reverse love potion."

"That’s sounds good!" Abby said with his eyes sparkling.

"Yeah but we have a little problem." Jinu frowned.

"What’s the problem?" Mira groaned in frustration.

"Well we might be able to use the potion on Romance right now." Rumi said as she took Jinu’s hand. "Zoey has to wait because she's pregnant."

Mira stared at the floor with lots of thought going through her mind. Abby took notice of her distress and held her hand.

"If that's what it takes to get our friends back the best we could do is trust the process." Abby said hopefully to uplift the room.

Before anyone could reply, Romance and Zoey came out of the elevator hand in hand hoping that they didn't miss the meeting.

Zoey looked around at the couples on the couch not really noticing how uncomfortable they were not that she was here. Romance on the other hand sensed how distant the group was but didn't have much time to comment when Baby and Mystery burst out of the elevator looking panicked.

"Oh good," Baby said trying to catch his breath. "We have a huge problem!" He shouted as he waved his hands in the air with panic.

"Everyone knows about the situation with Mira, Romance, and Zoey!" Mystery replied as she also caught his breath. "The also found out that she's pregnant on our live."

Zoey and Romance gasped.

"Why would you tell our entire fan base that we're expecting without our permission?" Zoey asked with anger lingering in her voice.

"We didn't do it on purpose," Baby said defensively. "We accidentally forgot to mute our livestream."

"Guys don't panic," Rumi said softly as she tried to make sure a fight wasn't about to break out. "I'll talk to Bobby and he can make sure to let everyone know that this was a misunderstanding between us."

She quickly thanked Jinu as he handed her the phone and sent the text to Bobby. He was quick to respond and gave her a thumbs up.

"You planned this didn't you?" Romance said pointing an accusing finger at Mystery and Baby.

"Why would you think that?" Baby asked in disbelief.

"Because it's so obvious," Zoey laughed bitterly. "This was Mystery's and Mira’s plan to get back at us."

The whole room gasped at her crazy accusation.

Rumi leaned and whispered in Jinu’s ear. "Make our vacation a month long."

"Sounds so much better." Jinu replied as he stared into at the drama in front of them.

"Why are you dragging me into this?" Mira groaned in frustration. She knew this conversation was going in circles at this point and she really wanted to move on with her life.

"You never wanted me to be happy with Romance and Mystery still has feelings for me so you guys teamed up to sabotage our relationship."

Mystery and Mira gave each other a look as they were on the same page about how insane this conversation was at the moment.

"I was never jealous of you and Romance at all," Mira said through a raised voice. "I was just hurt that my best friend betrayed me but now I know what the cause of this problem, I'm officially over everything and all I want is to move on from this."

Zoey shook her head. "I want to move on too."

"We can start by not blaming Mystery and Mira for things that they never did." Baby said rolling his eyes.

"But clearly they're against us being together," Romance replied with a scoff. "And no one is doing anything to stop them."

"You cannot be serious." Rumi laughed nervously.

"Rumi you understand our problem?" Zoey pleaded trying to make a point. " We were all against You and Jinu being together but now you're married."

"Zoey, we were in a secret relationship for months and you were supportive of our relationship when you found out." Rumi groaned.

"Also we didn't need some love potion to fall in love." Jinu added trying to make a point.

"Mystery I think you dodged a huge train." Baby said loudly for the whole room to hear.

"Then I guess I did as well." Mira muttered under her breath.

Abby took her hand for support.

Zoey looked between them.

"Romance and I are eloping." Zoey announced to the entire room.

"What the what!" Baby yelled.

That's right," Romance said as he held Zoey close to him in a protective way. "We made it officially after Zoey’s group announcement."

"Our wedding is in three weeks so I want you guys to be there no matter what." Zoey said with a smirk on her face.

"Fine!" Baby grumbled.

"Great!" Zoey jumped up with excitement. "Rumi may I barrow your dress?"

"No you can't." Rumi stared at her very offended by what she suggested.

"It was worth a shot." Zoey spun around taking Romance by the hand and leading him towards the elevator.

The group sat quietly as the newly engaged couple were out of eye sight.

"Does anyone know what just happened?" Jinu asked trying to figure out if his life was real at this point.

"I think that we have very dumb friends that we love who are stubborn." Rumi groaned in frustration. The whole group couldn't help but agree with her statement.

Chapter Text

Three weeks had passed since that disastrous meeting that ended with Zoey and Romance's announcement elopement plans that shocked the whole group. Rumi had tried to talk to Zoey about getting married too fast but she couldn't talk her out of it since she was doing it for their baby. Celine stopped by with Derpy and Sussie with the ingredients for the reverse love potion, ready to set the plan in motion as her, Jinu, and Rumi stayed up making sure they didn't miss any steps. They decided to disguised it as a chocolate chip cookie so Romance wouldn't get suspicious.

"Do you think it would work?" Rumi asked as she watched Celine put the contaminated cookie in a zip lock bag.

"I could try it out," Jinu said with a grin.

Rumi rolled her eyes and pouted. "I don't want you to stop loving me," She said quietly as her eyes started to tear up.

Jinu looked at her with a soft expression and reached over to wipe the tears streaming down her cheek. "I don't need a love potion to fall In love with you," He kissed her forehead and wrapped his arms around her protectively. "I know that in every universe I will always love you."

"I'll love you in every universe as well," Rumi muttered quietly in his shoulder trying to hide a smile that was clearly visible where Celine was standing.

Celine stared at the couple very unamused with their affection and having to be apart of it.

"Maybe you should start seeing a doctor, Rumi, I think you're crying is getting worse," Celine said as she put a label on the zip lock box and put it in the fridge where only Rumi and Jinu could find.

And the plan was officially set in motion.

Zoey checked herself out in the mirror for what seemed like the fifth time that day. With the help from Bobby, they rented out a private wedding chapel. It wasn’t as extravagant like Rumi and Jinu’s greenhouse venue but she was really content with everything that came together.

Zoey was wearing a baby blue sundress that hid her baby bump. She looked over at Rumi and Mira. Rumi was in the middle of fixing Mira’s dress.

"Girls," Zoey announced getting Mira and Rumi’s full attention. "I'm glad I could have my special day with my friends by my side, my baby on the way, and getting married to the love of my life." She let out a twirl.

"Of course," Rumi said happily. "We would never miss our best friend's wedding day." She gave Mira a small smile.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Mira muttered. She couldn't help but feel uncomfortable about attending her ex best friend and her ex boyfriends wedding day.

There was a light knock on the door

"Who is it?" Zoey asked cautiously. Afraid it might be Romance at the door.

"It's Jinu,"

Zoey’s eyes grew. "Do you need anything, Jinu?"

"I'm here to pick up my beautiful wife." Jinu said softly.

Rumi couldn’t help but smile at Jinu’s compliment.

"Don’t worry, Jinu. Zoey smiled. "We're sending her out right now."

"Perfect," Jinu replied. "I promise to bring her back in one piece."

Rumi gave Zoey and Mira a thumbs us before sliding out of the room. The minute the door closed behind her, she threw her arms around Jinu, pushing him against the wall. Jinu let out a laugh as he caught his balance.

"Wow," he breathed. "Now I understand why you like it when I pin you against the wall."

Rumi let out a laugh and leaned into Jinu’s ear. "Well then, I might have to surprise you." Her hands started to unbutton his shirt but was quickly stopped when Jinu grabbed her wrist.

"Not now my love," his voice was breaking." Romance ate the cookie."

"That's great, Jinu." Rumi replied as she took a step back but Jinu still held her close from her waist. "Is the cookie in effect right now?"

"It didn't look like it but Celine told me to trust the process."

Before Rumi could respond, Mira came out of the bridal room and awkwardly spedwalk her way over to Rumi and Jinu. "She’s getting ready, we have to go."

Rumi’s hand squeezed Mira’s shoulder. "We can leave if you want to." Mira shook her head by her suggestion. "I'm done avoiding the problem, I'm officially moving on with this even if it hurts." Mira replied as Jinu and Rumi walked down the hallway where the rest of the group were waiting in their seat.

Baby, Mystery, and Celine were sitting together on the left side of the aisle, while Mira, Rumi, and Jinu sat on the right side of the aisle and took their seats with Abby.

Once the doors opened, with Zoey in the center, looking like a radiant bride. Romance was in the other end, in his tuxedo that he wore for Rumi and Jinu’s wedding day, he was tearing up at the sight of her.

They were standing together hand in hand, ready to say their vows.

Romance went first, he looked straight into Zoey’s eyes and spoke deeply from the heart.

"My dear Zoey," he said as he cleared his throat. "I'm really grateful that I get to marry someone like you, and I'm very grateful for our family that we made together. You are the only girl who made me feel wanted. So I promise to love you and our child with all my heart and hopefully we can have a bigger family."

It was Zoey’s turn once she recovered from Romance's declaration of love.

"This is too my one true love," Zoey announced as she took out a paper of her vows. "Romance, Every moment I'm with you, you make me feel like I could fly. If I had a time machine so I could relieve the moment we fell in love I wouldn't hesitate to experience that great feeling. I'm super grateful to have you, our baby, and our wonderful friends and family in my life. I'll love you more than Mira ever could."

They shared a sweet kiss once the pastor made it official. Romance and Zoey were officially married for better and for worse.

"Time to party!" Zoey sang as she and Romance walked down the aisle together leaving the group in their seats, speechless by what they just witness.

After a few minutes of silence, Mira let out an annoyed sigh. "Once that baby get out, I'm smothering Zoey with a pillow."

"This is a bad time to tell all of you that we should've gave him a cookie a week before the wedding because he wouldn't have married her." Baby said as he scrolled on his phone.

The group replied with a groan with that realization.

The sounds of droplets against a tiled surface drowned out the soft cell phone ringing on the sink counter. It began to vibrate, getting louder and easy to notice for anyone walking by. But its owner was completely distracted.

Ah, yes. Distracted.

Distracted with her hands pinned above her, naked chest pressed up against the shower glass, and shuddering as the warm water trickled down her back. Her whimpers mixed with the soothing sounds of the showerhead, and she arched her back, pressing her hips to meet Jinu’s thrusts as he relentlessly pounded into her. His breath was hot against her cheek, creating a more intimate sort of steam than the warmth of the water could ever achieve.

The steam, she wasn't entirely sure if it was coming from the shower or from them. Either way, it fogged her mind making it difficult to make out the constant ringing of her phone on the sink as all she could focus on was her desperate plea for release. Rumi gasped, eyes heavy-lidded and staring up at the ceiling. Jinu released his grip on her hands, allowing her to brace herself against the slippery glass door as the heat coming off of him told her he was so close.

Jinu didn’t need to announce it, nor did she have to encourage him. Their bodies were so in tune with each other, realizing the cues and just knowing when their partner was ready for that much needed release. Rumi braced herself against the glass, glancing over her shoulder for a quick glance at her husband. His black hair was slicked back, droplets of water that pelted against his rock-hard chest. His eyes were closed, fingers digging into her soft hip while the other snaked around her to play with her clit, needing her release as much as his.

In a heartbeat, Rumi felt her body seize up, the overbearing warmth in her center flushed throughout her body and a loud gasp echoed in their bathroom. Behind her, he pushed her against the glass, lips grazing her ear and he buried his hips into hers. His hot and sticky seed well inside of her, the excess oozing out of her and draining out with the water.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Consciousness started to come back to the pair as their labored breaths started to steady. Rumi happily sighed as Jinu pulled out of her and turned back to the shower to wash whatever stickiness he had left. It didn’t take long for her to realize her phone was ringing. It has been for the past couple of minutes. Mumbling to herself, she stole a few quick moments of the shower from Jinu, earning a chuckle, a peck on the cheek, and a slap on her ass as she exited. Rumi frantically looked for a towel to wipe her hands on before reaching for her phone. “Hello?” She hoped she didn’t sound too irritated.

“Finally! Rumi, I’ve been trying to call you for the past few minutes! Were you asleep?” Zoey’s voice blared through the phone.

“Yeah, I apologize. I didn’t hear my phone for the first few times.” Rumi said as she quickly squeezed the ends of her long hair with her towel then wrapped another around her body. As she exited the bathroom, she heard Jinu turn off the shower head behind her. “Is something wrong?”

"Nothings wrong," Zoey said loudly. "I'm just here to invite you and Jinu to our dinner party tonight."

Rumi leaned against the bed just as Jinu came out of the bathroom. She smirked as her towel exposed her breasts for Jinu to see, she pretended not to notice. "Don’t worry, Zoey." She replied. "We'll be over by eight."

"Really?" Zoey said from the other line. "That means a whole lot."

"See you later, Zoey." Rumi laughed as she hung up the phone.

She gasped as Jinu pulled the towel off of her body and Jinu was now on top of her. Her hands touched his face.

"What was that about?" Jinu asked as they stared at each other like they were analyzing a math question. They both suck at math.

"Zoey wants us over for dinner." Rumi said. Her fingers ran through Jinu’s hair that he just dried from their steamy love making. "It must be something important."

"Maybe their having a gender reveal?" Jinu suggested. "And they're inviting everyone."

"That’s possible." Rumi said. "It better be a boy because I already called dibs on having a girl."

Jinu chuckled softly and kissed Rumi on her forehead. "Don’t worry about that," he said. "We need to see if the reverse love potion had affected Romance in a way."

"That won't be a problem since we're see them later." Rumi said.

"I'll text Baby or Mystery later so they could figure out Romance is acting differently."

They didn't say anything for a while as they cuddled. For once, they didn't stress about the mess their friends had caused. All they could think about was each other.

"We should probably put some clothes on." Rumi muttered quietly in Jinu’s ear.

"And why's that?" Jinu teased.

Rumi glared at him. "You know why."

"I need some sort of explanation." Jinu laughed as he pretended to be clueless.

Rumi groaned at his response.

"Tell me the truth princess." He whispered.

"Fine," Rumi stuttered. "I'm addicted to your cock and if we don't put on some clothes we might miss the dinner."

Jinu looked at Rumi as she covered her face.

Rumi’s eyes widened with surprise.

The dinner party was a complete success, everyone showed up on time. Zoey looked over at Romance, giving him the signal that it was time for their big announcement.

Abby squeezed Mira’s left hand while Rumi held her right hand.

Baby scrolled on his phone not really caring.

Mystery was looking anywhere but Zoey’s direction.

The suspension was disturbing Jinu.

Mira gave Rumi a knowing look.

Jinu rolled his eyes. "I'm in charge tonight."

Their attention went back to Zoey as she was now holding a card.

"It's official," Zoey announced.

"Just tell us the gender!" Mira snapped.

"Fine!" Zoey gasped slightly offended by her interruption.

Baby sat up and clapped for no reason. "Congratulations, we didn't need any of this to be dramatic."

"Congratulations." Mystery nodded.

"I'm happy for you, Zoey." Mira replied. Abby rubbed her back.

"Thanks everyone," Zoey giggled. "I'm glad to have my family here with me.

Romance smiled as he got up from his chair. "There’s cake in the kitchen so I'll cut the cake to anyone who wants some."

The group nodded as he disappeared into the kitchen.

"I'll go help him," Mystery announced as he pulled Baby with him.

They found Romance in the kitchen counter with the cake on display, knife in hand as he grabbed the paper plates.

Baby spoke up, catching his attention. "Hey man, It's been a while."

Mystery stepped forward. "Are you feeling okay since the wedding?"

Romance turned around slowly, his eyes wandering over to the kitchen floor. "Did I really marry Zoey?" He asked.

Baby looked at Mystery before he cautiously took a step forward.

"You did Marry Zoey." He replied.

"I- I thought I was dating Mira?"

"You did." Baby said.

"What happened?" Romance asked, finally looking at his band members.

"Zoey used a love potion but it backfired." Mystery announced.

"You and Zoey had an affair and you got Zoey pregnant during Rumi and Jinu’s wedding party." Baby said honestly.

"We managed to use a reverse love potion during your wedding but we need to wait until Zoey’s not pregnant."

The room fell silent and Mystery and Baby awkwardly stood in the kitchen as they waited for Romance to process the new information now that he was not under the influence of a love potion.

"I'm really sorry for hurting you, Mystery." Romance muttered quietly. "I knew you loved Zoey and I ruined your chances to be with her."

"I forgive you." He muttered.

Romance shook his head. "But I feel even worse knowing that now that I can think for myself completely, I'm in love with Zoey."

"How awkward." Baby said, staring at Romance.

"I still have lingering feelings for Mira but it's not as strong like Zoey’s."

"I understand completely." Mystery sighed. "I still have feelings for Zoey but I'm slowly getting over her even if it's hard."

Romance's eyes widened. "So we're alright?" He asked, getting ready for a fistbump.

Mystery smiled as he accepted the fistbump. "We're alright."

They gave each other a group hug before helping Romance out with cutting the cake.

Back in the dining room, Mira and Abby watched as Rumi and Jinu were sitting on the couch helping Zoey out with potential baby names that she had picked out. Abby couldn't help but stare at Mira.

"What’s on your mind?" Mira asked, sensing Abby's eyes focused on the back of her head. She turned to look at him and smiled softly.

Abby shook his head. "Just a silly question."

"Would you like to share?" Mira asked.

"Let’s move in together." Abby said hopefully.

Mira’s eyes widened with shock from that unexpected proposal.

"We've been together for two months now," Mira muttered as she tried her best to hide her smile. "That’s a little fast for our relationship."

Abby scoffed. "If Rumi and Jinu can do it then I'm willing to try."

Mira thought about it, Rumi and Jinu moved out and now live on the floor below her, Zoey lives with Romance, and she was living alone with Derpy and Sussie occasionally visiting between her and Rumi’s floors. Even though Rumi would visit her, she was still a bit lonely.

"You can move in with me." Mira smirked. "I would love some company."

"I'll love to move in with you." Abby said.

Mira kissed him out of excitement.

"I love you, Abby." She murmured in his ear.

"I love you too, Mira."

Mira immediately got up from her chair and headed for Rumi.

"Abby is moving in with me!" Mira said gently grabbing Rumi’s attention.

"You know what that means?" Rumi asked with excitement!

"More double dates!" They yelled in sync.

They shared a celebratory high five out of excitement. Things were changing for good but nothing was perfect just yet.
