Summary
What do you do when the one thing you believed to be your Glorious Purpose turns out not to be yours at all?
Loki survived the “Retcon,” as Deadpool insisted on calling it. He remembered everything.. likely thanks to his old talent for timeslipping, though that power was gone now. He had given it up to Doom after the war, a peace offering meant to buy time, if not peace itself. Later, “mild” disagreements arose, and in their wake, Loki found himself forced to begin again in a new timeline.
Here, at least, was a chance for a clean slate. A brand new start.
This world already had a Loki, of course—a younger one, shorter-haired, unlikely to be confused with him unless he was careless enough to be caught. That would not happen. Not this time. No, Loki would stay out of trouble completely… if he could manage it.
