After defeating the nigitsune, the pack never expected everything to go back to normal, aspecially without Alison. Scott held a grudge against Stiles, even though he knew it wasn’t his fault, and the rest of the pack naturally followed suit. Stiles on the other hand, fell into a dark depression, with his father always working and the pack not really talking to him it was easy for him to skip school, stay in bed, skip meals, and think about all he did wrong.
Stiles could not help but feel like a cold blooded murderer… he knew he could not have controlled the actions of the nigitsune but he blamed himself for Alisons death and the heartbreak of the pack. When stiles did go to school Scott and the rest of the gang avoided him like he had a deadly disease, and Stiles couldn’t blame them, he wanted to be mad and upset but he knew he deserves it. So he just stoped going to school all together, it just wasn’t worth sitting in the library at lunch and alone in class.
After 2 months of this continuous cycle, Stiles was all but dead, he looked like a skeleton and hasn’t slept in weeks, kept awake by nightmares, his past actions haunting him every time he closes his eyes. And the best part… nobody even noticed.
Exept of course… Derek Hale.
Derek has always secretly liked Stiles, the weird akward cute boy burried his way into Dereks heart and he cant seem ti get Stiles out. Derek has been worried about Stiles since they killed the nigitsune. After that he’s not seen stiles again, and he’s getting more and more worried by the day.
Stiles somehow became Dereks anchor, and without Stiles every day is getting harder for Derek to controll himself, the anxiety and the full moon coming up is not good for Derek right now, and he knows it, although he would hate to admit it. Derek knew he had to do something, he had to get Stiles back and help him. And somehow that seemed like a very daunting task…
