"Gege."
Xie Lian opened his eyes to find himself laying in the bath where Hua Cheng sat beside him, scrubbing his body. He let out a yawn, turning his head and placing a soft kiss on his ghost king's knuckles. "I didn't feel you carry me." He placed another kiss on the inside on the inside of Hua Cheng's palm.
Hua Cheng kissed his neck, "My god needed his rest."
Xie Lian blushed, "My sweet boy." He turned his head and brought the ghost's head down to his level and pressed a kiss on his cheek. "You're too good to this old god."
Hua Cheng smiled bashfully at the kiss he was given. "Only for you, Gege. You deserve everything I have to offer you and more." He guided Xie Lian's face to his and gently kissed his lips, then up to his forehead. He grabbed the wet cloth and gently stroked his face with it. "Can you close your eyes for me, Gege?"
Xie Lian closed his eyes as Hua Cheng cleaned his eyelids. After he was done with them, he placed a butterfly kiss upon each of them. Then going down to clean his shoulders and kissing each tiny scar that his beloved bore.
He dragged his lips to his ear and placed a soft kiss on the tip. "May this husband dress you?"
"Please," Xie Lian smiled.
Hua Cheng gently picked him up from the bath, and carried Xie Lian bridal style to to their bedroom. He set him in front of the vanity. Hua Cheng thought himself incredibly lucky to spend his days with the one he's loved for so long.
He dried off his husband and made his hair into a bun. Hua Cheng went into his closet and picked out a beautiful white robe with a pattern of golden butterflies stitched on it and gold earrings that came with it. Though, Hua Cheng thought his highness was already so beautiful, he believed those robes would only bring out more of his beauty.
Hua Cheng came out with the robes and jewelry, holding them out for Xie Lian to see. "How are these, Gege?"
Upon seeing the robes, Xie Lian gave him a bright smile. "They're beautiful, San Lang."
Hua Cheng dressed Xie Lian in the robes and earrings and stepped back. "You may look now, dianxia."
Xie Lian looked in the mirror and his eyes shone brightly. "San Lang."
Hua Cheng hugged behind Xie Lian and kissed his temple. "How do you feel, Gege?"
Xie Lian turned around and kissed him, wrapping his arms around Hua Cheng's neck, pulling him in as the his hands rested on Xie lian's hips. Their lips moved against each other in a soft and slow manner, and with all the love they had for each other, they held each other tightly never wanting to let go.
"Beautiful." Xie Lian told him when they parted from the kiss. He laid his head on Hua Cheng's shoulder, "Thank you, my sweet San Lang."
Hua Cheng kissed his hairline, "I'm only showing what I see, every time I look at you." He then brought the red string on his beloved is finger to his lips and kissed it. "A star that burns bright and one that that will never die out as long as I have you."
"San Lang," Xie Lian let out a shaky breath. "Every moment of pain and suffering I went through is worth it, if I get to spend the rest of my life with you." He kissed him. "Thank you for loving me."
"Gege." Hua Cheng smiled. "Thank you for loving me." He repeated.
Xie Lian smiled at him. "Would you like to shop with me today?"
"Lead the way, my love." Hua Cheng followed his husband out as they started their day.
