[PROMPTER: SO, WHAT IS THAT IN YOUR HAND?]
[jisung: oh what, this? it’s my can of worms.]
[PROMPTER: A CAN OF WORMS? HOW CAN YOU BE SURE?]
[jisung: (shrugging) i mean, it’s a can of worms. i can’t be sure but i’m, like, pretty sure it’s worms. it’s never changed or anything.]
[PROMPTER: WHY DO YOU HAVE A CAN OF WORMS?]
[jisung: i dunno. i’ve always had it.]
[PROMPTER: BUT YOU MUST HAVE GOTTEN IT FROM SOMEWHERE?]
[jisung: sure. probably from the store or something. i don’t know. it’s been a while. i don’t remember not having it.]
[PROMPTER: WHY DID YOU BUY IT?]
[jisung: i don’t remember.]
[PROMPTER: DO YOU GO FISHING OFTEN?]
[jisung: fish? (laughs) i don’t fish. never have. what does that have to do with my can of worms?]
[PROMPTER: DON’T YOU USE THE WORMS AS BAIT WHEN YOU FISH?]
[jisung: but i don’t fish.]
[PROMPTER: SO THE CAN OF WORMS STAYS SEALED?]
[jisung: i suppose. i guess it’s always been there, i don’t really have a use for it. i just got used to living with it and haven’t looked back. its looked the same as ever.]
[PROMPTER: IS IT HEAVY?]
[jisung: heavier than anything i’ve ever owned. it weighed down my tool box. my mantle. my shelf. it weighed my whole house down. i think it started sinking.]
[PROMPTER: IT MUST BE TOO HEAVY FOR YOU TO CARRY, CORRECT?]
[jisung: no. strangely enough, i’m the only one who can hold it.]
[PROMPTER: YOU SHOULD OPEN IT. TO RELIEVE SOME OF THE WEIGHT.]
[jisung: i can’t. don’t you know the rule? you can’t open a can of worms. there’s no telling how many worms are in this thing. it might explode. you might be suffocated, or drowned, or something worse. there’s really just too many.]
[PROMPTER: SO INSTEAD OF OPENING IT, YOU WILL STARE AT IT EVERY DAY, WATCHING AS IT GETS PROGRESSIVELY HEAVIER?]
[jisung: that’s the plan.]

[PROMPTER: THERE MUST HAVE BEEN BETTER THINGS TO BUY AT THE STORE.]
[jisung: maybe. (shrugs) but i have a can of worms.]
[PROMPTER: AND YOU DON’T LIKE FISHING.]
[jisung: correct.]
[PROMPTER: AND YOU WON’T OPEN IT.]
[jisung: right.]
[PROMPTER: SO…?]
[jisung: it's a can of worms. i don't care what's inside i just know i have to keep it with me at all times. that's what you do when you have a can of worms.]
[PROMPTER: I DO NOT UNDERSTAND.]
[jisung: you don’t have to. they’re my worms, not yours.]
[PROMPTER: WELL, I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CAN OF WORMS.]
[jisung: thanks. it’s looking especially shiny today.]

[PROMPTER: BUT I THOUGHT THE CAN OF WORMS DOES NOT CHANGE ITS APPEARANCE?]
