Chapter 1: Titles and Weddings
Chapter Text
“Now that you two are officially courted and all, what’s Mihou’s title?” Ma asked casually once they were all resettled after their Spring had ended. The brunette monkey’s dark eyes took in Wukong’s satisfied smile as he held one of the newest cubs. “I mean, Little Pebble is called the King of the Monkeys and Huāguǒ Shān, so what does that make his mate?”
Wukong blinked, head tilting as he thought the words over. “Hm…would that make him my Queen?”
“Denied.” Mihou’s voice cut in swiftly from where he was wrapped around his mate, head shoved into the crook of his neck and arms tightly around the ginger’s thin waist. “The day any of you call me that, is the day I toss at least one of you into the volcanic islands.”
Ba chuckled nervously, while Beng and Liu snorted, the one-eyed horse-monkey rolling his eyes at the threat.
“If not ‘Queen’, what should we call you?” Ma huffed, tail swaying behind him lazily. “I mean, we can call you Advisor still, but like…it won’t hold much when other royals come here, like Princess Iron Fan and Demon Bull King. I don’t think ‘Advisor’ could hold up if you’re also going to be representing yourself as our leader’s mate.”
“Not to mention, in many political alliances, the other rulers are going to need to call you something that represents your respect.” chimed in Beng, sighing at the betrayed look Mihou shot him from his position. “Don’t look at me like that, you know I’m right.”
“What if we called me Queen?” Wukong giggled, obviously thinking of his option as a joke. “I mean, Mihou is constantly calling me his wife.”
The silence that followed his comment made his giggles die out. “You’re not serious, right?”
“Wukong, you know there are many powerful Queens out there, right?” tried Liu, knowing this could even go completely right or completely sideways, depending on how they approached this. “It wouldn’t be too bad off if you changed your title.”
“But I’m the King!” whined Wukong, obviously trying to go for more defiance, rather than childish, even if he was coming off more as the latter. “It’s been my title since I jumped through the waterfall and found our home!”
“Okay, okay, okay,” Ma reached over and patted the short simian on the head comfortingly. “Let’s try this in an easier way…who tops?”
It was silent for another moment, before Mihou snorted, breaking into full out laughter as Wukong’s face turned a bright red, his eyes darting to the floor. “T-That shouldn’t have anything to do with this!”
“Oh, but it does!” crowed Ma, cackles following soon after. “See, dear stupid Pebble, what you don’t understand is that you’re much more Queen-like than your dark and gloomy knight.”
“When you put it that way, Ma isn’t too far from the truth.” chuckled Ba, watching as Wukong’s head snapped in his direction in betrayal. “Think about it, my King. Mihou is very good at protecting you and looking out for you, much like the fairy tale dark knights and, despite being able to defend yourself, the amount of trouble you need to be pulled from is very Princess-like.”
Mihou’s laughter didn’t die down, but something new sparkled in Wukong’s faraway eyes. “Ohhh! I love how that sounds! My Moon protecting me and making sure no one hurts me! Mihou! Isn’t that just like us?!”
The dark furred macaque’s laughter abruptly changed into a strange choking noise as he met Wukong’s sparkling gaze and wide smile, his curly tail wagging frantically behind him. “Peaches…”
“No, no! They’re right! You’ve always been better at the political standing of things anyway, I just know how to hit things really hard.” chuckled Wukong, nonplussed by Mihou’s hesitancy with it all. “And besides, the only ones who would really know about the title thing would be our most trusted allies, like Dage and Jiejie, while the rest of the world can continue to see me as the Monkey King and you my trusted Advisor.”
Mihou closed his eyes, considering the options laid before him. On one hand, it would be like an advantage, no one would know and it could be just something for their troop and family members to know, while also leaving the world out of their business, meaning that he couldn’t be used against Wukong and vice versa.
But also, the thought of having to go through the whole crowning process gave him an anxiety that he didn’t know how to handle.
On the other hand, this could possibly give him perspective on the things that Wukong had to deal with, since as King he had many things he had to handle and could only do minimally without his sight. As King (even if it was title only), the shadow user could at least take some of the burden from his lover.
“You guys really know how to wear a guy down, huh?” He sighed after a moment, before smiling and pressing a soft kiss to the crown of Wukong’s head. “I guess I have no choice, but to give into your whims once more, Peaches?”
Wukong giggled innocently, humming as he leaned into the kiss and purring loudly, the little baby monkey cooing in interest as he watched the older monkeys around him.
“Well, looks like we have a wedding to prepare for, huh?” Liu hummed good naturedly and Wukong’s eyes widened as the words registered in his head.
“A wedding?!” His tail wagging picked up, almost like a propeller. “Oh! I can’t wait to be married! We already mated and maybe skipped a step or seven, but this is going to be great!”
Mihou could tell this was about to get much more out of hand than he originally thought…
⸻
Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan blinked as they stared at the shining eyes of their sworn youngest brother as he beamed up at them.
“A what?” The bull almost whimpered, staring at his beloved little brother with an almost lost look.
“Are you serious?” His wife, on the other hand, looked ecstatic at the news.
“Yup! Mihou and I are having a wedding and I want you guys to help me plan it!” Bull King finally tore his gaze away from the little stone monkey’s unseeing eyes and turned to the tall macaque behind him, a glare coming to his face.
“You fucking scoundrel!” Mihou’s eyes widened at the bull’s sudden rage, barely dodging the large hands that almost landed on his neck. “You dare defile my little brother before marrying him?!”
“Woah! Hold up! It was consensual!” The tall simian yelped, the two beginning some weird dance of the larger demon trying to grab ahold of the dark furred Celestial Primate as he continued to dodge and avoid his grasp frantically.
“Am I the maid of honor?” Iron Fan hummed casually to Wukong as the short simian settled next to her with his cup of peach iced tea.
“Duh, who else would I ask? Ao Lie?” The two laughed at the thought, completely ignoring their mates' chaotic and childish behavior behind them.
⸻
After telling their sworn siblings about the wedding, the two simians found their lives being a whirlwind of excitement, happiness, congratulations and chaos as they planned their wedding.
Mihou, Bull King, Ma, Beng and Zhu Bajie were tasked with finding a good outfit to fit the theme that Wukong and Iron Fan came up with (ying and yang was the chosen theme, unsurprisingly), while the ginger furred Celestial Primate, Iron Fan, Ba, Liu and Ao Lie were in charge of getting Wukong a nice qi-pao and qun-kwan set for the upcoming event.
Honestly, the dark furred macaque couldn’t care less about the showing off part, but more invested in the part where he and Wukong could be seen as officially, outside of the normal courting rituals. He would be Wukong’s husband and the King would be his as well (though they would both joke about his Sun being his wife).
“Not that color…” Bull King gruffed, his amber eyes narrowing at the navy blue tang suit Mihou was currently wearing. “It blends with your fur perfectly, but it looks more like funeral attire and my precious little brother deserves better than that. You can be gloomy any other day of your immortal life, but not today.”
Mihou huffed, violet eyes rolling as he turned to go try on the next outfit. “Fine, my twentieth choice was denied, we’ll try Ma’s next.”
Grumbling under his breath, he moved to a nice chang pao ma gua set that his older brother had chosen with glee. They had been at this for almost five hours (in his opinion), but nothing had looked or felt right to any of them and he was starting to lose hope over finding an outfit he could like. He took in the soft white pieces that were lined in designs of beautiful dragons colored with a lovely gold to shimmer and shine in the lighting of the room.
It actually fit the theme well and would let everyone know about Wukong’s claim on him with his signature color being on the dark furred simian (and maybe a part of him loved the thought of wearing something different from his usual, safe, colors).
Changing into the chosen outfit, he looked in the mirror and felt himself stop at the sight of him. He looked…amazing. Mihou knew he wasn’t bad looking, often considered ruggedly handsome by others of their mountains and even some of their allies, but seeing himself in the outfit that he was going to marry the love of his life and mate in just solidified everything Wukong had ever told him.
Turning around slightly to get a better look of the back, his tail wagged happily as he took in his appearance a bit more, a smirk coming to his features as he faced the mirror once more, brushing his mane back and tying it into a ponytail. He posed and changed his expression a few times to really get a feel for the outfit, before nodding to himself.
No matter what the others said, this was the outfit.
Turning around with a dramatic flair of the robe, he went out to face his Bànláng with a grin on his face. “Make way, nobodies, the Lord of Darkness has arrived!”
It was silent for a moment, before Ma leapt to his feet with a grin. “I knew my outfit would win! Look at him! He’s fucking pretty for once!”
“What are you saying? I’m always great to look at.” scoffed Mihou with a flip of his ponytail. “Well? What do the rest of you have to say?”
“You look great, Brother.” Bull King hummed, a grin on his face as he looked at the smaller demon. “This outfit certainly does look great on you and I think if Wukong could see you now, he’d fall in love all over again.”
The words were soft and full of acceptance as he regarded the dark furred simian, who felt his heart ache when he realized that even though they were going through all of this bravado, Wukong wouldn’t be able to see any of it.
But his Peaches was still insistent on the entire thing, even though he couldn't see it. He wanted to do this celebration because he loved Mihou with all his being and soul.
“Even if he can’t see me, this celebration and wedding is something I’d do for him,” Mihou took a deep breath to steady himself. “I’d do anything for him and this is nothing compared to the things I would end up doing for him.”
“You’re gonna make a fine husband to Brother Monkey,” Zhu Bajie choked out, pulling Mihou into an uncomfortably tight hug, the simian hissing from the rough treatment of his wedding outfit. “But if you ever hurt him, I’ll make sure no one ever finds your remains.”
Ma broke into wet laughter at the threat, joining the hug excitedly as Demon Bull King encased them in his own backbreaking hug.
They had the outfit for the Groom, now it was time to pick out the Bànlángs’ outfits.
⸻
Wukong hummed happily, letting Princess Iron Fan and Ao Lie tug and tighten the sash around his waist, pausing to turn him this way or that. He had no idea what the outfit actually looked like outside of the descriptions his sworn siblings and Bànniáng gave him.
Not that he particularly minded, despite what Ba and Ao Lie worried about initially. The celebration was for them and Mihou, in his mind, the only thing he wanted was to be eternally tied to his mate and this seemed to be the most efficient and fun way to do so.
He had been changed a few dozen times and while he wasn’t too sure what the problems with the other outfits were, he could only guess it had to do with Princess Iron Fan’s specific taste and idea for the theme for their wedding (he and his brother’s wife had planned the wedding together, but she was the one pulling it all together and he couldn’t be happier).
“This one looks good, but I think the lighting makes everything look good on Shi Hou dearest,” sighed Iron Fan and Wukong could just hear the fond eyeroll. “It’s honestly not fair.”
“Aw, you’re just saying that, Jiějiě!” giggled the Stone Monkey, head tilting as hands moved to mess with his long mane. “You look beautiful too!”
“Why, thank you, Shi Hou-,” A pause and then a harsh tug to his mane. “You can’t even see me, why do you joke like this?”
Wukong cackled madly, head tipping back as she scoffed dramatically. “Sorry, sorry! I couldn’t help myself!”
They continued to joke and talk, before Ao Lie finally stepped back, tugging the Mistress of Winds with him. “He looks perfect, don’t you think, Nǚshì Iron Fan?”
“He does…” breathed the dark haired former Celestial Maiden as she took in her youngest brother’s appearance.
His long ginger mane was braided into a crown around his head, with an intricate gold headpiece on that made his red eyes gleam beautifully, while his robes were a deep black with lovely phoenixes embroidered in deep glimmering red along the fabric.
“Do I really look that pretty?” Wukong asked, his voice nervous as he shifted under the feeling of their gazes and the sound of their voices.
“You look better than pretty, Brother Sun,” Ao Lie moved closer, hands moving to cup his older brother’s cheeks. “You look like a shining ball of sun that came to us from the Heavens!”
The ginger furred simian squeaked, hands flying to cover his cheeks in embarrassment. “L-Lie! That’s too much!”
“Oh! You should show Ba and Liu! I know your grandfather would just love to see his precious grandchild dressed like this!” The dragon continued on happily, gently grabbing Wukong’s hands and leading him off the little pedestal they had placed him on to dress him. “Come, come!”
“Slow down, Silly Dragon, I can only go fast before we trip.” chuckled Wukong, the blush on his cheeks dying down slightly as the dressing room door was opened and he was led to the other room. “We present to you…future Queen of the Monkeys, Sun Wukong!”
It was silent and Wukong could feel his fur puffing out around his neck, tail swishing too and fro nervously as he stood on display in front of Ba and Liu. “Don’t just stand there, you two…what do you think?”
“Oh my Stars…” Ba’s voice was choked and Wukong didn’t have much else warning, before large hands were wrapping around him and he was squeezed against a rumbling and purring loudly against his ear. “You look beautiful, Little Pebble!”
Wukong gave his own purrs and a little chirp of happiness at the comment, knowing that his older brother meant every word, before he was placed down and weathered hands touched his cheeks gently, tilting his head upwards. “Grandpa Liu?”
“I have seen many of our people have relationships, settle down and make a family of their own,” started the elder General as his thumb rubbed small circles into the monarch’s cheek. “But never in my immortal life that was gifted to me by you, would I have thought that I would see my beloved youngest grandchild and King get ready to marry and start his own life.”
Wukong felt tears spring into his eyes at the heartwarming words, before he nuzzled into his grandfather’s hands. “Grandpa Liu, I know this is going to sound crazy…but do you mind giving me away to Mihou during my wedding? I read in Western customs a father does that for the bride, they can give speeches and even have a first dance with the bride…I want all of that with you.”
He heard the older horse-monkey’s breath hitch as his head was gently tilted a bit higher and their foreheads touched. “I would be honored, Shi Hou.”
Wukong grinned widely, even as tears trailed down his cheeks happily. He was going to have the best wedding in the entire mortal realm!
⸻
The next thing on the list was the food for the wedding and while neither were honestly picky about what they ate, they knew they needed to have food that would suit everyone of their guests tastes (the issue with having not so many friends, but only having the most stubborn of friends).
“Red Son only eats spicy foods, as does his father.” Iron Fan huffed as she sipped some peach wine, her fingers tangled in her child’s hair as he looked up at her blandly.
“Evil food is considered evil, mother!” He whined, little cheeks puffing out as his hair sparked slightly. “Father and I are only asserting our dominance over the weak peasants!”
“Sure, little ember.” giggled Wukong, before he stuck his tongue out. “If we have any spicy food, it’s staying far away from this bride. I’m not evil, so thus, I don’t need spicy foods to assert dominance over my guests. I can just hit them and they’ll either be fine or they won’t. There dominance asserted.”
“Haha! Your Āyí Shi Hou will teach you that it’s easier to assert your dominance with a strong hit, rather than the smaller, pettier ways, son!” Bull King laughed proudly, while Mihou groaned internally and Iron Fan rolled her eyes at their spouses.
“Great, now that the thickheaded conversation is done, can we get back to the menus?” Mihou really didn’t see a point to this, since they were just going to have Zhu Bajie make the food anyway.
“Of course, Plums!” chirped his mate, instantly pressing into his side with a grin. “I want everyone to be able to eat, so I asked the Generals to do a survey about what our people wanted, while I asked Brother Wujing to collect things from Master and Ao Lie for their preferences, including their spouses.”
“You did well, Peaches.” The dark furred simian hummed teasingly, taking the proffered paper from his mate and skimming it with ease. “Not too surprisingly, a lot of our subjects want vegetarian options, with a few asking for meat ones.”
“Well, you are monkeys.” snorted their sister as she looked over his shoulder. “I would be surprised if more of you wanted meat, rather than the other options.”
Macaque nodded, his own mind wandering. “I would like some meat for my plate too, honestly.”
“I won’t have any meat, Buddhism aside,” laughed Wukong, rubbing his face into his lover’s shoulders. “I’m a rhesus monkey demon after all! The only protein I need is the bugs from grooming.”
Mihou chuckled at the grossed out faces on Red Son and Iron Fan’s faces, while Bull King nodded knowingly (despite never eating the bugs himself, he would always indulge his little brother). They spent a good portion talking about ideas, before Zhu Bajie finally arrived, a glow to his face. “Sorry I’m late, was helping my lovely wife open the shop for the day.”
“You have a wife?!” Wukong leapt from his chair, almost knocking over the wine bottle in his dash to get to his brother’s voice. “And you didn’t tell me?! Or invite me to the wedding?!”
His screeching was cut off by the pig demon pushing his shorter frame away with a scowl. “Okay, sorry, I jumped the gun. We’re fiances, happy, Monkey?!”
The ginger furred monkey calmed down immediately at the words, his indignant rage changing back into a sunny smile. “Good on you, Piggy! I’ve been telling you the entire journey you’d meet someone if you stopped being so gross all the time.”
Zhu Bajie rolled his eyes, leading Wukong back to the table and easily handing him over to Mihou, who pulled him onto his lap, before he settled into his own chair. “So, Brother Wujing gave me the list of foods for Master, Ao Lie and himself, while you guys have a list for your people and allies, right?”
“Uh-huh!” Wukong’s head bobbed in a nod, hands sliding across the table and grabbing his finances’ cup of wine, taking a sip from it easily. “Jiějiě also wants the food to not overpower the wine.”
“Your sister has taste, Brother Monkey.” joked Zhu Bajie, but the sincerity was there as he and Iron Fan jumped into a discussion about which wines could go with the planned foods he would be making, both the vegetarian options and the others.
“Shouldn’t we be giving our opinions?” Mihou hummed, his head nestled comfortably in Wukong’s shoulder as he nipped and kissed at his neck tenderly.
“I don’t particularly care as long as we have a peach cake.” giggled the other, trilling softly when his lover found an especially sensitive spot on his neck. “Besides, I can’t focus with a certain handsome Warrior trying to excite me while we talk.”
A chuckle slipped out of Mihou’s throat as his hands squeezed his betrothed’s hips teasingly, loving the surprised chirp and shiver he received from the. “I can’t help it. I have such a beautiful and loving King on my lap, this lowly Warrior can’t help, but want more from him.”
“Can you two not flirt and almost fuck in front of my wine.” Bull King sighed heavily, his head falling back as everyone turned to the two simians, who flushed deeply.
“Hehe…sorry, Dage.” Wukong sheepishly scratched his cheek as Mihou grumbled under his breath.
“You two are always so disgusting.” sneered Zhu Bajie, turning back to planning with Iron Fan. “I don’t know how you handle it.”
“A lot of Heavenly Peach Wine that Wukong hand makes.” She sighed dramatically, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “If his wine wasn’t so good, I swear we would be having a completely different conversation.”
The rest of the meeting went smoothly with Zhu Bajie bringing in many ideas and samples, letting everyone taste, while also discussing the cake decorations and flavors for the pastry and icing, before they left with another task completed.
⸻
“Wedding planning is kind of hard…” Wukong whined as he reclined on the grassy field, Tripitaka and Ao Lie chuckling as they watched their former traveling companion roll back and forth with a small whine. “Like, we have the clothes and the food, but I can’t even help with the decorations cause I can’t even see them!”
“How about we work on the guest list and make the invitations?” His Master offered a smile in his voice. “I know you and Advisor Liu’er already decided on who would be coming, we could at least make the invites.”
That reinvigorated the ginger monkey as he sat up happily, tail already wagging. “Okay!”
The trio relocated to Wukong and Mihou’s room, settling down into his nest as the dragon went and grabbed writing tools and paper. “Now! Let’s see, thankfully Liu’er left the list of guests on your table.”
Tripitaka peeked over his shoulder with a small grin. “I see Zhu Bajie and his fiance are invited, Sha Wujing, Ao Lie and…oh, I see Ao Guang is here, but…”
“Don’t worry,” Ao Lie smiled, green eyes flashing with a power that he hardly flaunted. “I’ve spoken with my uncle already, as has my aunt. He tried saying that the Monkey King mocked and tricked him, but we pointed out that Brother Sun had never done anything that really broke any rules. He said if he could lift the staff, he could have it and Brother Sun did without issue, he was just upset that a tiny monkey was stronger than his entire army.”
Wukong snorted, rolling his red eyes. “Yeah, I didn’t really understand at the time why he was so mad, but looking back on it, I guess having someone you dismissed as a nothing destroying all your weapons would be considered disrespectful.”
“I love how you don’t admit it’s disrespectful, but will admit that you can see the problem with it.” Ao Lie huffed good naturedly, already settling in to write the invitation out for his uncle. “He better show up, my aunt was confused on why you never came back to visit her like you said you would.”
Wukong hummed, rolling over until his head landed on Tripitaka’s knee and his Master indulged in lightly running his fingers through his mane. “DBK and PIF don’t need invites, theirs is mostly implied anyway, since they are the Maid of Honor and DBK is Best Man, while my adorable nephew is the ring bearer.
The white and green haired male nodded, skimming the list, before his eyes landed on three slightly familiar names. “Azure Lion, Golden-Winged Peng and Yellow Tusk?”
The duo watched as Wukong’s face crumpled a little bit. “I…Mihou and I discussed it and I still want to send them an invite, just to see if they cared for me at all and not just…like a weapon, not to mention, the last time I saw Peng and Yellow Tusk was before I was imprisoned and I…I haven’t seen Azure since he…tried to courtnap me during this a week or so before this Spring. Mihou doesn’t think it’s worth the effort, all things considered, but Master did teach me that nothing worth anything is and redemption is something we can all achieve, right?”
Tripitaka looked at his eldest disciples’ upset expression as he slowly played with his robe sleeve, looking upset at the thought of the ones he considered sworn brothers, family, not coming to a special day, but knowing that the offer was out there for them to take at any point in time.
“Wukong…” His hand slowly stopped the repetitive petting motion, earning a soft huff of petulance from the short monkey. “I know your journey with your brothers was all about redemption, but as much as we want it to be, some beings just refuse to change and after what happened before the Spring began, I would have to agree with Mihou. It would not be wise to invite them. Maybe the old me would’ve thought it would be a grand idea, but that me also was too stuck in my ways to understand I didn’t know everything.”
Wukong frowned again, this time much softer and sadder than before, as he turned his unseeing gaze towards his Master. “So, you don’t think I should invite them?”
The silence that followed his question spoke volumes to the ginger furred monarch and he sighed, shoulders slumping slightly. “I should’ve expected that, honestly. They may have once been close to me, but Azure showed what he truly thought of me and Mihou…not to mention, Peng and Yellow Tusk weren’t even here to even check on me. Maybe it truly was one sided friendship.”
“But that’s okay too,” Tripitaka cut in, watching the hurt shock come across the Celestial Primates’ face. “Because it showed you the people who were truly there for you when you needed them and the people who were only around you for their own needs and wants. You don’t need to concern yourself with them anymore.”
Wukong’s face flinched slightly, before softening into a gentle smile. “You still teach me new things, Master.” His tail wagged for a moment, before stiffening slightly as he shifted slightly. “Speaking of people being there for me…Master, I have a big favor to ask.”
“What is it, my silly monkey disciple?”
“Would you officiate the wedding?” Tripitaka’s eyes widened and his breath hitched as emotions welled up in him.
“Of course I would, Wukong…” He breathed, voice soft and touched as he gazed at his eldest, who beamed up his way. “I would be very honored to do so!”
“And that is all I could ask for, Master!” Wukong chirped, rubbing his face into the human’s leg with a purr. “I’m using this as a start to see the people who truly accept me and not just the people who want to use me!”
Ao Lie and Tripitaka exchanged smiles as they continued to go through the list of guests that would be getting invites, teasing Wukong when they came across Guan Yin’s name in the list (the monkey demon would never admit to the Goddess of Mercy being his mother, but they both knew she was a mother in every way it counted).
⸻
Mihou took a deep breath as he looked at himself in the mirror. He was wearing his white and gold chang pao ma gua, the white shining brightly against his dark fur as a little monkey groomed his hair before he could tie it up for his big moment.
The wedding day.
He didn’t expect it to arrive as fast as it did, but it was here and he was both happy and nervous about the entire thing. Their most precious people would all be gathered to see the two of them accept their titles and love for one another again, only this time everything would change.
No longer could anyone call him a weakling that could only cling to Wukong, he’d proven time and time again up until their courting season that he was the ginger furred simian’s equal, that he wasn’t the coward that Azure and Peng made him out to be.
He was going to be Wukong’s King to his Queen and new Queendom.
“I earned this…” He chanted to himself, closing his eyes as tears prickled at the corners. “I fell in love with the sun, even as the world tried to burn us down, either together or separately. I made sure to keep him safe when he was too lost in sentimentality to do it himself. I proved myself a capable mate and he loves me for everything I am and I love him for everything he is.”
“Practicing your vows, Little Shadow?” Liu’s voice rumbled from the doorway and Mihou whipped around to see the older immortal smiling with his single gray eye shining in the dim lighting as he took in the sight before him.
“Grandpa, I would’ve thought you would be by Wukong’s side during all of this.” Mihou walked over, the little monkeys on his shoulders leaping off to land on the floor easily.
“I want to be, but I think our Little Pebble is surrounded by many others at the moment.” chuckled Liu. “I went to check on him and he was with Ba, Tieshan, Niu and young Ao Lie, while your groomsmen work to make sure everything is set up for your big day.”
Mihou felt his heart warm at the words. “This is…this is just a lot, Grandpa…” He took another shuddering breath. “I’m so happy, but at the same time, what if Wukong decides he doesn’t want this? Doesn’t want me?”
“Ah, yes, the famous cold feet and overthinking.” Liu chuckled, as if everything Mihou said was just another conversation. “You know little Shi Hou would never change his mind that fast. Impulsive is he? Yes. But indecisive? Never. That silly monkey is so in love with you, I’m pretty sure he would tear Heaven and Diyu apart for you, you silly child.”
Mihou felt his cheeks flush at the words, but he couldn’t stop the warm feeling from flooding his chest, knowing that Liu had a point and he was just nervous.
Could anyone blame him though?!
Wukong shone brightly, like the sun, he attracted any and all eyes his way and could have anyone he wanted, but he chose Mihou. Shy, used to being in the background, Liu’er Mihou.
It was amazing and terrifying all in the same time.
“It’s just…dream-like to think he really chose me.” He finally confessed, settling onto the chair he had in his room.
“I bet. It always feels like that when it comes to the one we call our mates and soulmates.” Liu nodded, sitting next to him. “But the best thing to do is to keep your head up high and make sure that you treasure him just as much as he treasures you. That is all you can do, remember, this marriage is through sickness and health, until death do you part.”
Mihou’s ears twitched at the words and he smiled softly as he gazed at his hand where a little band was around his ring finger. It was a simple engagement band, while he and Wukong chose their wedding rings secretly without the other knowing, until Red Son would walk it down the aisle to them.
“Well, I hope he knows I can be just as loving and passionate as his loudmouthed self.” chuckled Mihou as Liu barked out a dry laugh.
⸻
Wukong could feel his tail and neck fur bushing out after every time it was combed back down, but he couldn’t help it. He was going to get married to the love of his life! The only one in this world that had supported him through everything and anything that had happened in the past and he knew that his beloved Warrior and future King would be by his side through anything else that could happen.
But the nerves were still there.
People were going to be staring at him. Seeing him in ways that they had never seen before, seeing him with his special person in the most vulnerable position that was socially acceptable and he would have to…show his allies and lover how broken he truly was, in his own eyes.
“Would you stop overthinking already, you orange rock?!” Tieshan shrieked, throwing her brush down in frustration as her hard work was once again undone by his neck fur fluffing out. “I swear to god, between you and your husband, I don’t understand how there is any anxiety left for the rest of the world!”
“Hey! That’s not fair!” He whined back, head flopping to land on her chest. “You and Niu were a wreck during your wedding and I was stuck playing stress stuffed animal for both of you because Mihou refused to put up with either of your meltdowns.”
Tieshan growled at the reminder, a flush on her cheeks as Niu looked away with a sheepish cough into his fist. “That’s neither here nor there, simian! You asked me to do your hair and I can’t do that if it keeps going back to a mess with each thought!”
“I know, but what if he doesn’t want me?!” The words spilled out as Wukong jumped to his feet, beginning to pace in worry. “I mean, I can barely lead my people anymore, they don’t even need me! I can’t see and the only thing I can really bring to anything is the fact I can hit something really hard if you point me in the right direction, but without any of that, what do I bring to the table anymore?”
He felt angry and worried tears spring into his eyes at his fears coming out.
“Shi Hou…”
“Mihou can do all these amazing things and we already went over that he was better at the political stuff of the King position, while I can’t.” He huffed, shoulders heaving, before freezing as a hand moved to tilt his chin upwards. “Jiejie, Dage, what if he regrets this?”
“He won’t, you stupid rock.” sighed Tieshan, rubbing the tears away from his cheeks and checking his makeup. “He loves you more than life itself.”
“I know that,” whimpered the short monarch. “But he can do so much be-Ow!”
He was cut off by his sworn older sister tugging a curl harshly. “None of that! You look like the star of the show today, makeup done beautifully and your hair about to be done to the nines and be the best looking demon in all three realms! It matters not about those other peasants that want his or your attention, the only thing that matters is that the two of you want one another.”
Wukong sniffed, sounding almost pathetic, if not for the slow rising grin that was coming to his face and the slow wag of his tail at the former Celestial Maidens’ words. “Aw, you do care, Jiějiě!”
“I just don’t want my hard work to go to waste.” She huffed, turning him back around and beginning to do his hair once more from the start. “Now! Do not move!”
With a grin, the ginger furred simian complied.
He was getting married.
⸻
Mihou shifted eagerly at the altar, but this time the nerves that were running though him were for a different reason. His sudden energy boost was for everything to move on already. He hadn’t seen Wukong for the past two days, both of them wanting to be surprised on the day of their wedding.
Too bad, they were both stupidly impatient as well.
He heard the music start up, saw their gathered special people stand and turned to see Wukong enter.
The black furred simian felt his heart leap, stutter and soar at the sight of his beloved dressed in black and red, shining phoenixes glittering along the silky fabric as Liu led him down the aisle, his one eye unbelievably gentle and glistening softly as they walked, Wukong’s arm held in the crook of the salt and pepper furred horse-monkeys’.
Once they reached the end of the aisle, Mihou moved and gently took Wukong’s outstretched hand, fingers trembling as he softly brushed against his lover’s own, gaze meeting Liu’s protective and loving one, before smiling softly at the old General, who huffed fondly, before sitting down at his seat.
The dark furred macaque led his love back to the altar, grasping his hands tightly as they stood in front of Tripitaka, barely managing to wait for Red Son to walk their two ring boxes down the aisle to them.
“We gather here today to watch the joining of love between Liu’er Mihou and Sun Wukong,” The monk began, his eyes shining as he spoke. “Friends and loved ones of these two Celestial Primates have witnessed the love and loyalty they share for one another, but rather than me talking about it, why don’t I allow the two to share their vows.”
He took a step back as Mihou took a deep breath, his ring box heavy in his free hand as he gazed at Wukong’s dark veiled face, just barely able to see the faraway looking red eyes that ‘gazed’ back. “Wukong, since the day I met you and we became friends, I’ve loved you. I never truly thought I had a chance with you, even before we put a label on our relationship. You were everything to me, you still are my everything. You shine so brightly that I fear someone will come and snatch you away…but then I remember how I fought, clawed and defended my spot by your side.”
He heard Wukong’s breath hitch the slightest bit, but continued forward. “I remember how I successfully courtnapped you, how I protected you and provided for you during that Spring. How I proved I was so much more than a coward, like so many thought me to be. I fought and will continue to fight if need be to show you my love and loyalty. You may be taking the title of Queen, but you will always be the fierce Warrior King to me and even more than that, you will always be my pure and simple Shi Hou, until the end of time.”
“Mihou…” Wukong’s voice broke for a second, before he sniffled and seemed to reign his feelings in. “From the day we met, Mihou, I always knew you were special and so much more than what you thought. I knew you could do so many great things if you pushed yourself, if you found something to fight for. I never expected to be that thing, but I am glad to be it. You are my Advisor, my Warrior, my mate, but most importantly, you’re my best friend. The person I can turn to when everything is too much and I need someone by my side to make everything calm down and remind me that I am allowed to be normal and make small mistakes. You’ve led me away from so many bad decisions in my life that I don’t know where I’d be without you.”
Mihou felt his own tears start to fall down his cheeks as Wukong spoke. He knew that he loved hard when it came to the lighter monkey, but he didn’t think the feeling was truly reciprocated as deeply.
“Mihou, if I’m your sun, then you are my moon, my stars, my shining night sky and my everything.” finished Wukong, lifting their intertwined hands slightly. “I will gladly hand over my title of Warrior King to you and become your Warrior Queen, ready to fight anyone who dares to threaten you in my presence. Friend or foe, for if they do so, they are no longer an ally, but my enemy.”
“You may now exchange your rings.” Tripitaka’s voice broke slightly at the words, which Mihou knew was from the touching words that they both exchanged.
Slowly, he opened his box and smiled at the sight of the shining purple stone in the center of the ring. It was a purple sapphire, which matched the color of his magic almost perfectly and held just enough of his magic inside to alert him to any trouble Wukong could ever be in without him present and allow him to track him without the hard part.
Without preamble, he took his lover’s hand and slid the ring onto his finger, smile widening at how it shone under the lighting of the sun around them.
He watched as Wukong’s finger trailed over his own box, lifting the lid carefully, before slipping the ring out and his breath stuck in his throat at the sight of the Imperial Topaz locked into the ring band tightly, before shakily handing his own hand over as the ring was placed on his own finger.
“If anyone has anything to say to object to this wedding-,” Tripitaka was cut off by Mihou turning to glare at their guests, violet eyes flashing.
“They’ll keep it to their damn selves.” He hissed, his ears twitching at Wukong’s amused chuckles as the sound brought his attention back to his soon to be betrothed.
“Now, you may kiss the bride.” finished the human monk, amusement coloring his voice.
Mihou steadily lifted the veil covering his beloved’s face, taking in the breath taking makeup and styled curls, before pulling his new wife in for a passionate kiss, Wukong squeaking slightly, before melting into it with a trill of happiness and kissing back just as passionately.
The cheers and happy sobs resounded around them, but no longer did they bother Mihou as he focused solely on his beloved.
“Long live Sun Wukong the Monkey Queen, and Liu’er Mihou the Monkey King!” Niu rumbled loudly, the cheer catching on as the others continued to repeat it loud and clearly as the newlyweds finally broke apart in their kiss.
“Let’s party!” Wukong cheered, throwing one arm in the air as Mihou easily swept him off his feet with a matching grin.
They were finally married and mated, nothing would ever stop or separate them.

Chapter Text
They only waited a day after their wedding, before the two ran away to a little hidden away area on Huāguǒ Shān to celebrate their honeymoon without interruption as newlyweds.
These are just some moments between the two Celestial Primates, who fully intend to enjoy themselves.

「Day 01」
⸻
Wukong moaned softly, hips already canting up into Mihou’s punishing thrusts, tails intertwined tightly as his head fell back with each punch into his cunt. “M-Mihou…”
“My lovely Queen…” breathed the taller, his voice close to Wukong’s ear in between his own grunts and groans, their hands clutched tightly onto one another as the heat around them escalated. “Always so good and perfect for me. Beautiful and mine.”
The ginger furred simian keened, the sound pitching off into a shaky whine as he felt Mihou fuck in again, this time more aggressively. “My Shadow King, always taking such good care of me…”
Mihou continued to stare down at his panting and drooling lover, a feeling of love and happiness welling in his chest the longer he watched Wukong unravel underneath him. “My precious Gem, my everything…!”
He could feel his end coming with every thrust in and knew that the lighter simian was close as well with the way his tail would tighten its grip on his own with each movement.
“Together, my Queen?” He whispered, ears fluttering at the soft moan the new title received from the shorter.
“Of course, my King.” Wukong whispered, before he cried out, body tightening as he released between the two of them, slick coating their lower halves as Mihou slammed in one last time, a low groan slipping out with every pump of cum he released into the other.
Slowly, he turned them onto their side, not pulling out and wanting to enjoy every second they had like this. Wukong gave a small mewl of discomfort, thought his loving husband hushed him with soft kisses and purrs as they drifted off for the first night of their Honeymoon.
⸻
「Day 02」
⸻
Mihou blinked awake, the sun drifting through the window of the little hut they were settled in. Everything was quiet, save for some chirping of birds he could hear outside and the distant sound of their people milling about under the protection of Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan (he knew a spell to silence it a bit more, but he wanted to keep his ears out in case Heaven or any other enemy tried anything while they were on their honeymoon).
He turned, ready to wrap his arms around Wukong and pull him close for more cuddles and sleep, only to be highly annoyed at the lack of a short monkey next to him. The dark furred simian sat up, his eyes narrowed as he looked around for his missing spouse. “We just got married and he’s already wandering away?”
Mihou’s grumble was met with silence as he stood from their nest, making his way out of the room and searching for his wayward lover. He made his way down the hallway, as he did so, the smell of fresh food filled the air and he felt himself wake up a bit more as he approached the kitchen area. “It’s always amazed me how you adjusted to learn how to cook based on smell alone.”
The dark furred macaque’s words cause his Queen’s ears to prick his way, red eyes gazing in his direction without truly seeing him as a smile came to Wukong’s face, tail wagging as his fangs peeked out of the grin. “Good morning, Mihou!”
“How did you even know it was morning?’ grunted the taller simian as he moved to curl his body around his beloved, who purred at the contact.
“I’ve always been an early riser!” chirped the Stone Monkey, his tail instinctively finding a matching dark furred one. “Besides, I learned how to do this during our journey. Sometimes Zhu Bajie couldn’t cook being too ‘sick’ or ‘tired’ to do so and with my failing sight, it was almost a lost cost, but I managed to remember the smell for when it was just perfect and for when it was too early or too late to save food from when Brother Wujing or Lie would cook respectively.”
“I can see it.” chuckled Mihou, nuzzling into Wukong’s neck and inhaling his earth and peach mixed scent happily. “How about when it's all done, we plate it and have breakfast in bed, my Gem?”
“Sounds like a plan.” The ginger simian agreed, moving away from the little fire pit and allowing his husband to take over as he slowly made his way back to the bedroom. “Don’t let it burn, handsome, otherwise I hope you can handle going to find something else for us to eat.”
“I got it, Sunshine.” The shadow user smirked, turning back to watch the eggs cook a bit more, before moving them onto the little plates with freshly cut up fruits already put to the side. He didn’t quite get how Wukong managed to be so independent without his sight, but he thought it was nice to not have to worry and still be able to give his lover the freedom he adored so much.
Once breakfast was plated, Mihou easily went back to their room, grinning widely as Wukong nuzzled into the pillow he knew for a fact he slept on the night prior. He watched the scene for a few more seconds, before deciding to speak up. “Does it still smell like me, darling?”
The squeak Wukong let out was completely worth the accurate pillow headshot that was thrown his way with one of their pillows as he laughed at the hilarity of the situation.
⸻
「Day 03」
⸻
Wukong whimpered slightly as his legs were spread a bit more, his lover devouring as much of the slick that escaped him as he could, tongue darting into his cunt’s entrance with ease, before retreating back into the burning hot mouth, appreciative rumbles and chirps slipping out between slurps as the lighter simian gave a choked gasp from the noise vibrating up his lower half. “My Shadow…”
A chuckle slipped out of Mihou’s mouth, causing the vibrations to spike, before he buried his face deeper between his spouse’s legs, tongue moving back to flick at Wukong’s clit teasingly, earning a surprised moan as the ginger’s head fell back against the pillow, hands burying into dark fur to ground himself, before the taller pulled back, earning a whine. “What? Why?”
“I have something I want to try.” defended the shadow user as he shifted Wukong to lie upside down on him, his short lover being just shy of directly over his cock from the position and having to wiggle around to get comfortable. “It’s not fair if only you get something from this, my greedy Queen.”
“Rude…” The red-eyed monkey demon huffed, his hot breath brushing over Mihou’s sensitive cockhead, earning a hiss from his husband.
“Just take me in your mouth, while I eat you out.” explained the dark furred simian, waiting until he felt the familiar heat encasing his cock with a groan, before getting back to work on his wife’s cunt, a finger entering with ease as he leaned up to continue his work.
It didn’t take long for the two of them to fall into a rhythm. Wukong would go down and every time he did, Mihou would buck up for more of that wet heat, while he held Wukong’s hips tightly within his clawed hands, dragging him closer whenever he felt like the other was too far for him to enjoy it properly.
The room was filled with the wet sounds of the ginger’s sucking and his King feasting on him like he was the most divine meal ever laid in front of him. Mihou had to hold himself back from just thrusting up into the tight heat of his lover’s mouth whenever he wanted, not wanting to go too hard just yet, while Wukong allowed small whines and moans to slip out as his hips tried to cant forward into Mihou’s mouth more, though the grip on his hips prevented him from going too far forward.
Red eyes closed as Wukong pushed more of his lover’s cock into his mouth, partially slipping into his throat as he gave a harsh suck, right before his tail stiffened and his body gave a harsh shudder of relief as he came all over Mihou’s face, who happily slurped up every bit of slick that coated him.
A muffled mewl slipped out, before his eyes snapped open when a large hand pushed his head downwards once again, this time forcing him to take the cock he was sucking fully into his throat (not that he was truly complaining about the rough treatment), all he could do was sit there as the shadow user fucked up into his mouth and throat like a glorified toy, small hums and choked noises slipping out between thrusts.
“Fucking Diyu, Peaches…” groaned Mihou, feeling his balls tighten the more he thrusted into the shorter’s mouth, his cock throbbing with his heartbeat. “Feel so good…”
Wukong gave a muffled whine at the praise, eyes rolling back as his mouth was fucked roughly. He could feel the way Mihou’s cock dragged from his throat and over his tongue, throbbing and almost growing larger as he got closer to his end.
“Shit, Wukong…” The shadow user growled, forcing Wukong to the root as his hips pushed up one more time, balls churning as he released his seed into his lover’s mouth.
Wukong hummed, eyes falling half lidded as he swallowed everything, small tears trailing down his face from the rough treatment prior. Mihou gently rutted into his mouth a few more times to ride out his orgasm, before slowly removing himself from the ginger’s mouth, the two settling in their position for another moment until the dark furred simian began to move them around.
The ginger Celestial Primate gave a startled chirp as he was lifted again, feeling his body being shuffled around and onto his side, before the overwhelming warmth of Mihou pressing against his back, purrs rolling from the taller as he hugged him tightly.
“I love you, Mihou.” Wukong’s voice was raspy from their activities, but still full of adoration.
“I love you too, Shi Hou.” The shadow user’s purring only paused briefly to respond, before he was back at it, the sound and feeling of the purrs lulling Wukong into a comforting sleep.

「Day 04」
⸻
Wukong groaned as he stretched in the nest. He’d already sent Mihou to get them lunch, which was a struggle considering how greedy the other could be when it came to the lighter simian and their activities (Wukong didn’t realize how horny the other truly was until they were on this trip. Turns out, Mihou was holding back on him a whole lot more than he initially thought).
“Finally, some rest…” He sighed, feeling his stone bones pop from the stretch. “Damn him, fucking me day in and day out. I need a break too!”
“Oh? The Great Sage Equal to Heaven having too much of something?” He heard his husband coo, a tail wrapping around his waist and tugging him closer. “Never thought I’d see the day, Peaches.”
“You are just insatiable.” groused the lighter, nosing at Mihou’s neck with a sigh of contentment. “No matter how often we do it, you always want more once you can pop it back up. I’m old, ya know?”
“I’m the same age, Wukong,” The macaque huffed with a laugh and Wukong could only imagine the eyeroll he received and it made him sad.
He would never see his beloved’s face again. He wouldn’t see his beautiful shadow plays, the way his violet eyes light up when he used his powers. His beautiful fur or his red face mask…
“Hey, why’re you crying, Sunshine?” A hand tilted his head upwards and a thumb gently swiped away his tears, most likely shimmering with the gold.
“I miss being able to see you…” He choked out, face shoving closer to the appendage with a sniffle. “I just…I always remember at the worst times that I can never see anything about you or the others and it hurts…”
Mihou held him, slowly allowing them to sink to the bottom of the nest, hushing him and gently reassuring him the entire time.
“You may not be able to see me and I know that will forever hurt you, no matter what I say,” He started, voice soft and understanding. “But I also know that if you could go back in time, you’d change things. You wouldn’t repeat your mistakes and even then, you’ve shown time and time again that losing your sight will change nothing. You’re just as strong with or without your titles or your eyesight, my Gem.”
Wukong’s eyes widened, the tears that had slowed, speeding up, but this time with a different emotion. The sadness and self-loathing disappeared, this time being replaced by love and acceptance, before he closed his eyes and trilled softly, earning a coo back.
They sat there, silently soaking in the comfort that they gave one another, before moving onto their lunch and already planning to spend the rest of the day in their nest, most likely to groom and cuddle for the rest of the day.
⸻
「Day 05」
⸻
Mihou wrapped his arms around Wukong’s waist as the other whimpered sweetly, the dark furred simian’s hips slowly rocking upwards as his cock slid between the lighter simian's cunt, head teasing at the little entrance. “You said I couldn’t put it in, Gem, but this is still good, right?”
“You’re so greedy,” whined the shorter, head tipping back with a keen as his clit was meanly nudged by Mihou’s cock head and a sharp claw. “And mean.”
“That I am, my Queen.” purred his lover, tongue darting out to lick at Wukong’s mating mark, before nipping at the flesh. “I’ve watched you glut yourself on all the things you wanted and desire, while holding myself back from devouring you whole.”
His words seemed to set a fire in the ginger simian’s stomach as his back arched a bit more when his husband’s claws played with his nipples, twisting and pulling the little nubs harshly. “Mihou…”
“I know, my Sun,” The shadow user murmured, his voice full of adoration as his hips picked up speed, slick combining with precum and making the thrusts more aggressive and easier for movement. “But I’m holding you to your orders. No penetration, since you’re so sore.”
Wukong growled low in his throat, hips punching downward to try and get some more friction, the growl tapering off into a pitiful moan at the pleasure that spiked through him from the motion. The two continued to rock against one another, the room heating up as they began to trill and chirp at one another the closer they got to the edge.
“My King…” breathed the shorter, tilting his head slightly in a bid to get a kiss. “I’m close.”
“Me too, my Queen.” His husband grunted, his hips picking up speed as he shoved their lips together messily, nipping at the other’s lips hungrily, before they both released with shudders and groans, their hips becoming messy with cum as they sank to the floor.
“You’re the worst.” hissed Wukong, blindly shoving his arms back into his robe sleeves as his tail twitched in annoyance behind him, occasionally slapping his lover in the face as it did so.
“I love you too, Sunshine.” Mihou laughed, pulling the shorter into his lap as he pressed sweet kisses all over his face, even as he pouted at him.
⸻
「Day 06」
⸻
Wukong chirped happily as Mihou picked through his curls, head tilting slightly as his lover found a specifically good spot that had been bothering him. His own hands moved slowly through the thick fur of the shadow user’s tail, inching his way up to his back without any rush.
It was hard for him to groom without sight, but just like cooking and fighting, he found a way that worked with him and polished the skill.
“Right there…” groaned his husband, fingers stalling as Wukong picked and detangled a specifically tangled knot. “Got that one from all the times you tugged my tail, Wukong.”
“Oh, please!” The ginger scoffed teasingly, pausing to scratch the area and grinning at the happy rumble that he received. “Last time I checked, you pulled my tail so hard, I kicked you.”
“In the dick, yes, I remember that one quite clearly.” sniffed the other, tugging a curl teasingly. “Just like the absolute menace you are. I was only trying to love and appreciate you the way I know you like.”
Wukong snickered, knowing damn well that his lover was telling the truth. He never liked being treated like glass or like something fragile, so when Mihou stopped being so soft on him, it made everything feel so much better. “That’s neither here nor there, my dear Moon. The point is when you pull a monkey’s tail, you get a donkey kick!”
“Yeah, yeah.” He could feel the playful glare he received from the taller simian, before silence reigned over them, but only for a few moments. “Tomorrows the last day of our Honeymoon, huh?”
“Oh, I guess you’re right…” Wukong hadn’t forgotten about their home or people, but living in the after marriage bliss that they’d been in the past couple of days and nights had made him forget that they did only have a certain bit of time together. “Well, I guess this was nice, right?”
He felt the other stop grooming his fur, tilting his upper body to turn and press a kiss to Wukong’s forehead, a smirk on his lips. “Don’t worry too much about the ending, I still have all of tomorrow to show you true Heaven, darling.”
Wukong felt the fur around his neck fluff out as blood rushed both to his cheeks and lower half, pressing his thighs together as he whined, tail thumping energetically at the mere thought of the way they could enjoy their last night together.
He really couldn't wait for tomorrow.
⸻
「Day 07」
⸻
Mihou grinned as he licked his lips, hips quickly slapping forward with harsh thrusts as the sound of Wukong mewling for more underneath him. He had his beloved mate pinned with his upper half pressed into the bed, his hips and behind up to present his pretty cunt to the dark furred simian so he could mount him properly. “Feeling good, my Gem?”
The ginger furred simian warbled something into their nest, tears of pleasure slipping down his cheeks as his tail was tugged harshly, causing his body to jolt and twitch as he came once more, slick leaking around Mihou’s large cock. “M-Mihouuuuu…!”
The darker demon chuckled breathily as he stared down at his mate, his own tail thumping against the bed quickly, even as he continued to fuck into him. Something about taking the other apart to the point of being drunk off the pleasure always made him feel more powerful, despite knowing that if Wukong truly didn’t want it, he’d kick his sorry ass to Diyu. “I know, Wukong, just a little longer.”
The shorter whined, hips moving uselessly against his own as he tried to keep the pleasure going, even as he whimpered in overstimulation, earning a loving rumble from the shadow user. “Always so good for me, Sunshine.”
“Moonlight, I-I need more…” Glazed, unseeing, eyes turned his way, a mating chirp slipping from Wukong’s lips, causing the taller one to groan. “Mate! More!”
“Well, who am I to deny my little Gem?” cooed Mihou, his voice clashing with the harsh momentum he had built up, earning a loud squeal from the other. “Aw, am I fucking you stupid, my Queen?”
Wukong gave a trill that turned into a cry of pleasured surprise as Mihou tugged his tail again, using it as a way to pull Wukong against him for every thrust, before finally letting it go and plastering his upper half against the ginger’s back, arms wrapping tightly around his waist.
His thrusts turned into small, but powerful, ruts and hip rotations, his cockhead nudging at the other simian’s womb with each push in. “So good for me, Wukong…only mine. My mate, my Queen…my everything. Shi Hou…”
Wukong moaned loudly, head tilting to the side to expose his neck more clearly for his mate as his tail entangled with a dark furred one. “Mihou…my King, my Warrior…my beloved other half.”
The shadow user pressed a soft kiss to his beloveds’ lips, their tongues tangling briefly, before moving to lick and nip along his mating mark. That was the only warning Wukong got, until Mihou’s mouth opened wide and he bit down harshly into his Queen’s neck, fangs digging in harshly as his hips slammed home once more, knot inflating and locking them together as the ginger came once more with a keening cry, body shaking and shuddering from the double pleasure.
They sat there for a moment, the taller simian shuffling them onto their side as Wukong mewled weakly from each pump of cum as he was jostled, before they were on their sides.
“You’re going to have to hold yourself back when we go home…” Wukong finally broke the silence, even as his lover’s hand rubbed comforting circles in his stomach. “And I’m not even pregnant, stop rubbing my stomach, you weirdo.”
“You could be.” hummed Mihou, never once stopping his ministrations. “Besides, I don’t have to hold myself back anymore. I’m the King now.”
“That’s not what that title is for and you know it, Smartass.” huffed Wukong, rolling his eyes, even as he was hugged tightly to a broad chest. “You can’t be greedy twenty-four hours a day back at the mountain. Our people will need us at some point.”
“Hm…they can figure it out.” A nip to Wukong’s ear accompanied the words, earning a huff.
“You’re such a pest.” Wukong’s voice was undeniably fond, even as he tried to scold the other, who chuckled lowly.
“Sure, sure,” A small kiss to a freckled cheek. “Whatever you say, darling.”
The two drifted off to sleep, happy and content with the last night of their Honeymoon.
(When they got home, Mihou was instantly being chased by Red Son and Demon Bull King, both yelling something about Wukong not being pregnant already, unless he wanted to see Diyu sooner rather than later. Wukong, on the other hand, had to deal with Ma, Ba and Princess Iron Fan pressing him for details about what happened during the weeklong vacation, unable to defend outside of embarrassed squeaks the entire time.)
