“You know what I think, Kacchan?” Izuku whispered furtively, after the PA was finally done fussing with his collar.
Katsuki felt a surge through his body when he met that searing gaze, at long last matching his own in intensity. The warmth of the lights must’ve been getting to him, because Katsuki was suddenly hyperaware of how close their marks were for this shot.
A step closer and-
“I don’t give a fuck what you think.” He seethed. Behind those blue contacts, Katsuki swore he could see green sparks fighting to the surface.
“I think you actually want people to hate you, because it’s the only way for anyone to give a fuck about you.”
“Quiet on set!” Aizawa’s voice from somewhere. Firm. “Roll camera.”
Any response died there in Katsuki’s throat as Izuku’s expression softened instinctively into one of a complete stranger.
“Camera rolling!”

Feeling left behind by Eijirou’s solo career, Bakugou Katsuki - half of the sensational musical duo AP Shot - jumps at the chance to play his favourite superhero in a blockbuster film adaptation.
