MHA The Mandalorian Effect: The CIS Reborn

Summary:

The Gatekeeper made a mistake. A mistake that ultimately cost Izuku his mother. Guilty for what he has done, he asks two of his siblings to help fix things. Now with Izuku having the power of a Star Wars-themed system, he is determined to change not just his world but the entire galaxy and beyond for the better. The only problem with that, was that his best and really only option was to rebuild the CIS. Oh well, at least he can live his nerdy Fanboy dreams without being hit by Truck-kun.

Mandalorian Izuku.

No Force powers, just a weird connection with the Force.

The Mass Effect universe will be added later, so please be patient.

Chapter 1: Fixing A Mistake

Chapter Text

Izuku stood on the rooftop feeling absolutely numb. Only a couple of minutes ago, All Might had left him there after thoroughly crushing his dreams of being a hero. Add to the fact that he just survived a villain made of sludge who wanted to use his body as a meat puppet to escape All Might. along with the fact that the baggage of 10 years of abuse was weighing heavily on his mind today, after his bully told him to kill himself. With the added effect 3 days ago, he was kicked out of his apartment when his father had recently stopped sending him funds, and he was now living in an abandoned dumpster in a back alley. So yeah, you could understand what kind of horrible state of mind He must be in.

In another life, in another time, probably in another universe altogether, he would not actually be considering taking his bullies' and abusers' advice. But sadly, after witnessing his mother's death at the age of 8, at the hands of Endeavor, due to the man obviously having absolutely no understanding of the concept of collateral damage. He was unfortunately forced to survive on his own and deal with everything by himself. And unfortunately, the option of killing himself was sounding like quite a good one.

A small part of him that was drowning in the sea of numbness that had engulfed him after his encounter with All-Might wanted to quash that thought. But the bigger part of him, the one that knew that there was now nothing for him to live for, was urging him forward, closer to the ledge of the building. A small part of him thought it would probably be better to aim for the alley, and it was for that reason only that he moved from the ledge he was looking down from and moved to the secondary ledge that was hovering over the alley. He then looked down. Nope, no people to witness the most likely gory and quite messy sight of him smashing into the pavement below. Angling himself so he didn't catch on the building across from him, because honestly, he wanted this to be as painless as possible, and there was a chance that that would increase his Likelihood of survival. He then took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and jumped headfirst into the alleyway.

He oddly noted that his form was absolutely perfect, and if this was him simply diving into a pool of water, people would probably be impressed. As he fell through the air, he closed his eyes and let out a sigh of relief. He could just let go now; he was jumping off a 12-story building, and he was diving headfirst into concrete. The likelihood of him even feeling pain was very small. But after a minute had passed with nothing happening, he became confused. Worrying that some random hero had saved him, he opened his eyes and looked around, and what he saw shocked him.

He was in a place that he instantly recognized; after all, it was a place from one of his favorite movies, which was one of the few things that gave him a sense of relief these days. The place mentioned was the Cantina from Star Wars, where Luke and Obi-Wan went to hire Han Solo for transport off of Tatooine. But unlike the movie, this place was completely absent of people, all except for one table where a man whom he did not recognize sat waiting for him. He could see that the man's skin was as white as snow. He was wearing a red Victorian-era Gothic long trench coat with large black epaulettes on the shoulders. Large black folded cuffs and a red and black striped sun hat with a feather in it. When the man finally meets his eyes, he notices his eyes glow with a yellow hue. His mouth is connected to his eyes in the shape of a smile with a dark Blackness behind them. But strangely enough, the man's smile seemed almost like it wasn't really a smile. But before he put any thought into that, the man spoke up.

"Hello, Izuku Midoriya. I am the Gatekeeper, an inner-dimensional entity with the sole purpose of maintaining reality. I brought you here because I made a mistake, and I seek to correct it." The gatekeeper said in a quite obvious British accent, with his voice having a hint of sadness and regret. This shocked Izuku, but he was way too emotionally numb to react much. The Gatekeeper saw this, and if Izuku thought he could, he knew the man would be frowning.

"Sit, my boy, let's talk." The Gatekeeper said, with Izuku doing as he asked. As he sat down, the Gatekeeper gave him a once-over. It was obvious that the boy was still in shock from the events of today. And with an audible sigh, the gatekeeper spoke up again.

"You're probably wondering why I saved you and what mistake I made that made me bring you here." The gatekeeper said, with Izuku giving him a nod of his head.

"Well, you see, I am currently on vacation, with my siblings managing my duties. I haven't had a vacation in six millennia, so I was quite honestly excited. I was also given a copy of your Universe and several others to do as I please; I had grown quite fond of your universe, and I was quite entertained by watching your Heroes do what they do. But after I influenced events, I decided to head to a tea shop completely unique to your universe. You see, I am a tea enthusiast, and I wanted to try this unique brew, so I decided to take a visit there. But I wasn't prepared for what my presence would cause. You see, as I was ordering tea, some ruffians decided it was a good idea to assault me. And in the process, I spilled my tea. The next thing I know, the man was already through the window. I admit, I may have overreacted and let my anger get ahead of me. But the fact is, I did, and because I sent that man through the window, it triggered an event that cost you your mother." The Gatekeeper said, and as the last words left his mouth, Izuku's eyes widened in shock.

Izuku honestly did not know what to say. Hell, he didn't even know if he could be angry at the moment due to how numb he felt. So instead of saying anything, he just sat there and stared at the gatekeeper, which resulted in him letting out another sigh.

"Look, I've been watching you ever since, and as I saw your life worsen to the point where you decided to end your life, I knew I had to step in. Look, Izuku, you do not know how important you are; you're one of the very rare individuals who has the power to influence your universe in ways that many cannot. And because of that, your death would not only be a tragedy but could actually do damage to your universe. Everyone you talk to, everyone you meet, and everyone you come across creates ripples that are everlasting. And your death so soon would cause a ripple that could shatter everything. Now I do not expect you to forgive me for inadvertently causing your mother's death, but I wish to make it all up to you with an offer." The Gatekeeper said, and after a minute of silence, Izuku finally spoke up.

"And what offer is that?" Izuku asked numbly, with him still debating if this was real or not.

The gatekeeper could see this, but he decided to continue this conversation anyway. It was probably better for him to be emotionally numb at this moment. Since dealing with his emotions would take up too much time, which he simply did not have. The gatekeeper knew that he had very little time due to his stopping time in Izuku's universe and would need to return Izuku to his universe shortly. If he didn't, his Universe could be damaged, and he wasn't banking on his siblings fixing it correctly.

"My offer is very simple; I am going to give you a power that my brother had recommended. Now, understand this is not a quirk but a power that goes beyond this very universe and various others. This power could make you the most powerful being in your universe if used correctly. And it will change your universe and your place in it in ways that I cannot predict." The gatekeeper said, and at his words, he could see hope and a bit of life enter Izuku's eyes.

"Are you saying that I could be a hero with this power?" Izuku asked, with hope evident in his tone.

"Theoretically, yes, but I would not recommend it." The Gatekeeper said, causing Izuku to look confused at him. Letting out another sigh, he decided to elaborate.

"Like I said, you will not be getting a quirk, so any tests done on you would reflect that. So when you go get your hero license, they're going to quickly figure out that you do not have one. Certainly, there are ways to get around this, and if you try hard enough, you could. But if the wrong people find out, you will be putting yourself at great risk. Especially since it is currently illegal for a quirkless person to become a hero." The gatekeeper said, and as he started to see the hope leave Izuku's eyes, he quickly continued.

"You should also know that it is also illegal for them to arrest you if you decide to do certain things." The gatekeeper added, sparking Izuku's curiosity.

"And what things are that?" Izuku asks curiously.

"Oh, there's a whole list of things, but the biggest one is being arrested for vigilantism. You see, since you do not have a quirk, no one can arrest you, and as long as a villain either attacks first or harm an innocent, the best they can do is contain you for 48 hours. I recommend that you read up on the law in its entirety. But honestly, do you really want to be a hero? Especially after what you experience in your society. Tell me, do you really want to support such a system after today's events? Tell me, what kind of hero shatters the dreams of a boy whom he just saved from a near-death experience and then leaves him on a rooftop?" The gatekeeper asked, with Izuku immediately speaking up.

"But it isn't All Might's fault." Izuku said, but the gatekeeper knew this was more of a reflex than anything, and the boy wasn't really thinking.

"Tell me what the standard procedure is for a hero when they save somebody from a villain who attempted to kill them." The gatekeeper asked, with Izuku instantly speaking up, thanks to his being an expert on all things heroes.

"After they secure the villain, they are to stay with the victim until medical support and police arrive." Izuku said, like it were the most obvious thing to him.

"And what did All Might do, or to be exact, what did he not do?" The gatekeeper asked, which caused Izuku's eyes to widen in realization. But years of believing in his idol were not so easily broken.

"But his time limit." Izuku said, but the Gatekeeper shook his head before responding.

"He may have a time limit, but he had enough time to not only sign your notebook but also to show off. If he was so tight on time, he should have prioritized. But then again, he is only human, and humans are known to make mistakes. Which is why I'm going to point out another hero, the number two this time. What if I told you that his collateral damage in your mother's case is not the only instance, and in fact, he has so many civilian casualties under his belt that if the numbers were made public, it would make him look like a monster? Which, unfortunately, he is. Now, how do you think that such information is not known to the public, and why is he not thrown in jail? I'll tell you why. It is because the Hero Public Safety Commission is covering it all up. And he's not the only one who they're doing it for." The gatekeeper said, with Izuku looking at him in shock.

"What! Why would they do that?" Izuku asked, completely shocked by this recent revelation.

"I won't go too far because we have very little time remaining. But basically, the hero Public Safety Commission only stays in power as long as heroes are fighting villains. So, having their precious number two exposed like that would disrupt such a balance. Your society runs on the concept of black and white, heroes and villains, when the world really runs on all sorts of colors. And as long as that is the case, they remain in power. And trust me, people like that will do anything to keep their power. Now I am not saying this to discourage you, but because I do not lie. But I'll tell you this now: if you accept this power, you could change all that. If that is what you want to do, that is, after all, it is your choice." The gatekeeper says, with Izuku taking a minute to absorb that information. When he had processed the bomb called reality that had been dropped on him, he spoke up.

"And what is this power exactly?" Izuku asked, with the gatekeeper letting out a long sigh.

"Okay, there is going to be a manual with it, which you can read later, but here is the gist. My brother had created this power; it is a system of sorts. Once you accept it, you will be given access to a personal reality, which you can make portals to anytime you wish. And since I know you are a fan of Star Wars, I asked my brother to make it Star Wars themed. Which means you would be able to get access to items, technology, abilities, and even the possibility of accessing that universe. Well, that is if my brother set it up that way. To be honest, I don't know how it really works beyond this. Which is why I asked him to make a manual for you." The gatekeeper said before pulling out a leather-bound book with the label system manual on it. He then placed it in front of him and continued.

"Now we have very little time remaining, so I'm going to need your answer. Would you accept this power?" The gatekeeper asked, with Izuku thinking it over. Which only took a moment.

"I accept." Izuku said with a small smile and a bit of tears. And with that, Izuku disappeared from the cantina. As he completely vanished, the gatekeeper's smile grew. Because he knew that this variant of Izuku was going to be quite interesting to watch. The question is, how can he make it a bit more interesting?

Chapter 2: A Strange New Friend

Chapter Text

When Izuku opened his eyes, he noticed that he was in the alley that he had planned to be nothing but a smear on the pavement only several minutes ago. Frowning at that thought, he questioned whether what he just experienced was a hallucination or a random hero's attempt to save him. His thoughts were cut off by an almost musical female voice that spoke up in his mind.

"Oh, when my brother said he fucked up, I wasn't expecting this." The female voice said in a sad tone, but somehow maintained that musical quality of her voice.

"What! Who said that?" Izuku yelped out in shock.

"Oh, sorry, child, I did not mean to scare you. I was just not expecting you to be so... broken." The voice said in a sad but calming tone that instantly had the effect of calming him down. Seeing that he was calm, she continued.

“As for who I am, well, I have gone by many names. The mother, Nature, chaos, or most recently, the Force. As for why I'm here, that is because somebody needs to manage your system, and I have volunteered, especially since you're going to be drawing from one of the various alternate versions of the universe that I manage. And if things go your way, there is a possibility that you might even visit that variant of My Universe. Plus, it's quite a change of pace for me. In all the universes I manage, I rarely ever get the chance for direct contact. Not to mention this gig is going to let me experience something new, and I'm really excited for it. " The Force said, shocking Izuku. But before he could say a word, she spoke up again.

"Now, in your school bag, you will find the manual for the system. But first, I need to start it up." The Force said, and right before Izuku's eyes, a transparent screen appeared in front of him.

[One Time Only +500 CP (Instantly added)] Bound By The Force (Drawback)

You are bound to the universe's most unpredictable and unknowable entity in ways that no other could ever achieve. You may not be a Force user, but you have the undivided attention of an entity so powerful that if she wished, she could shatter a universe. Expect to deal with her whimsical nature and any path that she sets forward towards you. She may also interfere and grant you additional drawbacks. After all, nature could be a bitch, and she's definitely a force of one.

"Well, fuck you too, brother. You didn't need to make me sound like an asshole. Look, boy, I'm pretty much here just for the ride, and although I might just give you quests occasionally, this is your ship; I'm simply just a passenger here to give you occasional advice on where to go." The Force said, a bit annoyed. She was not too happy about how the system described her.

"What about the drawbacks? Are you saying you're not going to give me any?" Izuku asked curiously.

"Yes, I will if I get bored, or if I think it is going to help you in the long term. After all, according to what I know, the best way for you to get points is from drawbacks," The Force said, with a shrug that Izuku somehow felt. Shrugging himself and taking her at her word, he continued to read.

[One Time Only +500 CP (Instantly added)] A Quirkless Nobody (Drawback)

Everyone who was raised on your home planet may have a visible and instant dislike for you due to your Quirkless status. But at least the people who don't care about that actually might give a damn about you.

"Okay again, rude. But I guess a drawback that makes sense." The Force said with Izuku sagging a bit. Although it made sense, it didn't help him feel any better about it.

"Hey kid, cheer up, although it's obvious these are written quite coldly. At least this drawback can be used to tell if somebody will be prejudiced towards you or not." The Force said in an attempt to lift the boy's spirits. It did a little. Letting out a sigh, Izuku decided to continue reading. He then focuses on his perks next.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Personal Reality (Perk)

Did you ever want a pocket dimension that you could do all sorts of stuff in? Well then, I have good news for you. Thanks to the all-powerful system, you've been granted a personal reality in which you can do all sorts of things in. From building houses to live in, to building Starships, or even building an entire universe filled with planets and people of your own creation that only you can access, there is really no limit to the personal reality, just the RP you have. You have a personal pocket Dimension that you can upgrade by spending reality points, which are RP for short. By default, the Personal Reality is an infinite storage space that can be accessed by connecting any door or hatch. By default, the door and hatch stay connected while you are in your personal reality, and cannot be disconnected unless everyone exits it.

Okay, this perk is awesome! With this perk, the options he had were endless. Noticing that he was going to start to mumble and get lost in the river of ideas and theories he had about this perk, He attempted to get a hold of himself. When he had stopped his Mumble spree, He shelved his ideas for later and moved to the next one.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Out Of Nowhere (Perk)

People seem to be far more accepting of what you claim to be. You're an omnipotent god here to test humanity? Eh, we got five of those last week. Last member of a dying race? You're not the only one. This is your springboard into getting into a setting. What comes next depends on you. This perk applies to any Companions that join you as well.

"Okay, that's pretty cool and is going to be useful during first impressions and when you introduce yourself," The Force said, with Izuku agreeing wholeheartedly.

[Free (Instantly added)] Live and Let Live (Perk)

People tend to judge one another by standards of what's common in their society, and that goes double for anything involving relationships. Yet in your particular case, this just doesn't seem to apply. At worst, people will dislike it and possibly refuse to interact with you, but turning to violence or other means of stopping you just never enters their minds. Somehow, people just don't judge you any differently, no matter what you look like. You could have a completely different number of arms and legs one day, change your coloration completely the next, and maybe gain or lose some gender characteristics, and yet people know it's you and treat you as if you looked like anyone else.

"Huh, wouldn't that conflict with my A Quirkless Nobody (Drawback)?" Izuku asked, confused.

"No, drawbacks override perks. So in this case, the only thing they would probably judge you for is being Quirkless. That's if they give a damn about that." The Force said, with Izuku nodding his head in understanding.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Determinator (Perk)

Through a combination of toughness, endurance, luck, and stubbornness, you tend to succeed more easily in situations few would expect you to.

"Oh, I'm definitely going to like you if that's your default origin perk." The Force said with Izuku looking at the Perk in confusion.

"What do you mean by default origin perk?" Izuku asked, confused.

"Well, your default origin perks come from your default origin, which is from your current life. These are skills, abilities, and characteristics you already have. But now they are made manifest more pronouncedly due to the system. I really like people who are determined, so having that perk makes you all right in my book." The Force said, with Izuku slowly nodding at that. Although he did not understand where that quality came from, he let it go for now and continued to read.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Kinda Bland (Perk)

Sure, your species has its fair share of exceptional personalities, but overall? You kind of blend into the background compared to all the exciting aliens, locations, and technical wonders. At any time, so long as you aren't in a place you definitely shouldn't be, you can now choose to unobtrusively blend into the background, allowing only the most perceptive of people to actively take note of you.

"Wow, if I weren't able to see your past, I would be kind of surprised where you got this perk." The Force said, with Izuku speaking up instantly in shock.

"Wait! You saw my past?" Izuku squeaked out in shock.

"Yes, kid, but I didn't see all of it, just most of it. After all, knowing everything about you will make getting to know you pointless. But is that really surprising, especially since you know what I am in another universe?" The Force said as she rolled her nonexistent eyes before continuing.

"Anyway, I think it's time to roll out your second origin. For the record, I have no idea what's going to pop up, so I'm just as excited as you are." The Force said excitedly.

"Wait, second origin?" Izuku asked, shocked.

"Yep, I don't know what you're going to roll. But be aware, it is a reality-altering event, but since it's Star Wars themed, it is most likely just going to affect my universe." The Force said, and before Izuku could say a word in response, she began the roll for his second origin.

Rolling second origin….

Congratulations, you have gained an ultra-rare origin

"*Whistle*, that was unexpected. At least this is going to be quite interesting." The Force said, as she was quite surprised by the results. But Izuku didn't respond since he was too busy holding his head from the pain of memories and information flooding into his mind. Noticing this, The Force spoke up.

"Hey kid, stay with me." The Force said in an attempt to ground Izuku in the present. Luckily for the two, it worked, and Izuku was quickly able to shake it off.

Sorting through his mind and decades of experience with technical machinery and experience with Star Wars tech, one certain memory stood out to him. It was the day he received the message from Dooku. Checking his pockets, he quickly realized that the message was still there, just as his new memories revealed. He remembers placing it in there in shock after learning who his father was. Fuck, this was going to be a lot to deal with. Reality had just been rewritten along with his past. At least he knew it was rewritten since he did not know how he would deal with it if he somehow found out from The Force that it was. It also helped that there were obvious gaps, and none of his memories were replaced, just added to. It was almost like he lived in another life, which, he guessed, he did. Yeah, he decided it was something he's going to have to get used to. Especially if he gets another origin. Taking a deep breath, he pulled up the new list of drawbacks and looked over them.

[+1000 CP (Instantly added)] The Count's Son (Drawback)

Your father, Count Dooku, had made a lot of enemies who would love nothing more than to spill your guts and intestines onto the floor. A lot of the traditionalist Jedi are also most likely to get in your way for the simple fact that you're a son of a Dark Lord of the Sith, regardless of whether you are not force sensitive.

"Yikes, you'd better keep that information on the down low until you are ready." The Force advised, but something confused Izuku, which he quickly made known.

"Why would the Jedi be after me, especially since I'm not force sensitive? Aren't they all about forgiveness?" Izuku asked, absolutely confused.

"It says it's the traditionalists who are going to have a problem with you. Unfortunately, those Jedi are quite narrow-minded fools. And before you ask what I mean, I would rather not get into why I equally hate the Sith and Jedi, and suggest that if you have to interact with a Jedi, find one that is not blinded by their Dogma." The Force said with Izuku nodding his head. Looking to the next one, he continued to read.

[+1500 CP (Instantly added)] CIS Affiliations (Drawback)

You are now affiliated with the CIS. Some worlds will most likely want to tear you limb from limb. And others will simply want to shoot you. Luckily for you, it's not every world, just all the ones that bought into the Republic and Empire propaganda, which is a fuck ton of them.

"Yikes, but expected." The Force said, with Izuku agreeing. He then pulled up his new perks.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Expert Engineer (Perk)

Although you're not a master of the art of engineering, you're definitely an expert. If it's a machine, you can fix it. From tanks to cars to starships, if it moves, you are an expert in fixing and maintaining it. But it only goes as far as fixing and maintaining. Although you could use your engineering knowledge to help design Starships, you're nowhere near an expert with this perk alone.

This was a cool perk and explained the massive amount of knowledge that had been pumped into his head. Although this made him excited to see what he could do with that knowledge, he moved on to the next perk.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] The only Air (Perk)

You are the heir to Count Dooku, the leader of Serenno. You are now in line to be their leader. The people loved your father, and they would gladly sacrifice their world to protect you if needed. The wealth and property of Count Dooku are yours to use as you see fit. But to gain access, you will need to go to Serenno.

[Free (Instantly added)] Going Native (Perk)

The universe is full of weird places, people, and cultures. Now, when you pass through, you won't stick out like a sore thumb or as much of an outsider. You are able to rapidly learn alien customs, cultures, and ideals and apply them faster than even a child growing up in those places. You'll also be able to learn alien sciences just as quickly.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] We Are The CIS! (Perk)

Planets and people who share the ideals of the CIS are willing to help you out. Especially the previous CIS worlds and CIS holdouts. These ideals are freedom from the Republic now turned Empire, to join a government that isn't corrupt, and the freedom and equal rights of all sentient beings. Rebel cells are also more willing to help you out, if not outright join you on your mission. Any droid you produce with your facility will be forever loyal to your organization and to you as their leader. No level of programming or alterations to their program can change that. In a sense, they are absolutely protected by the system as long as they fly under the CIS Banner.

"Okay, that is awesome. That essentially any droid you make will be forever loyal to you and the CIS." The Force said, with Izuku frowning.

"But I do not want to treat the droids like they are slaves; from what I could tell, they are as sentient as any other organic could be." Izuku said with a frown.

"You are partially right, not all droids are sentient, and newly created ones who have the chance of sentience take time for them to become sentient. But don't worry, the ideals of the CIS include the freedom and equal rights of all sentient beings. And I believe the droids definitely fit under that ideal. All this perk does is ensure their loyalty. And as long as you don't betray such, which we both know you wouldn't, there's no reason to really worry." The Force said, with Izuku quickly nodding his head.

[Free (Instantly added)] It Always Fits (Perk)

Clothing and any kind of armor just seem to fit so much better when you wear them. Any armor you encounter will seem to just fit you perfectly. If you somehow find a 10-foot alien wearing some mythical armor. Haha, that would fit. Find a midget wearing a set of Mandalorian armor. Screw logic, because that's definitely going to fit you as well. You can also change the coloring of the armor at will.

They both thought this was cool, but not much to that before they moved on to the next.

[Free (Instantly added)] Master of Droids (Perk)

Any droid or artificial life form that you build from your personal reality is instantly loyal to you, no matter what faction you are a part of. They are also a lot more advanced and more capable than any other droid. Any Droid built like this is protected by the system, and it is not only unhackable but can also be upgraded by the system as well.

Again, both of them thought this was cool and had a lot of potential, but not much needed to be said, so they moved on to the next.

[Free (Instantly added)] Expert Slicer (Perk)

Hacking through computer control systems or anything, really, you are an expert in. Although you are not a master of the art and require a slicer kit to do so, there are very few computer systems that you could not slice through.

"Okay, that's awesome. Especially on your planet, the computer systems of the Star Wars Universe are much more advanced and complicated than your computer systems at home. So it's going to be infinitely easier to hack anything here." The Force said, with Izuku agreeing, he also noted to himself that this would be perfect for his vigilante career if he decides to go that route, that is.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Alien Lover (Perk)

Due to your ties to the CIS, you have experience in speaking with any non-human species. Any non-human species is more willing to listen to you and hear you out, even when they already distrust you. They're also more willing to see things your way. They're also most likely to find you more attractive. This perk does not force people to fall in love with you. But it will make people more open to the idea of allowing you to fuck their brains out.

"Wow, this perk is going to make a lot of things interesting." The Force said with a perverted giggle that made Izuku blush like a tomato.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Droid Lover (Perk)

You have an uncanny capability of convincing droids or any artificial life form to work alongside you. Especially if they're not programmed to or distrust you. They're also more willing to see things your way. If the droid or artificial life form is capable of feeling love and other emotions, they will find you quite attractive and are more likely to develop feelings for you. This perk does not force droids or any artificial life to fall in love with you. But it will make them more open to the idea of allowing you to fuck their robotic brains out.

This time, The Force didn't say anything but instead burst out in a perverted giggle, resulting in Izuku's blushing tomato face getting even redder. Once Izuku calmed down, he moved on.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Silver Tongue (Perk)

You're able to use your silver tongue in many ways. From convincing an enemy general to surrender, or giving your lover a good time with that silver appendage, there is very little your silver tongue can do. You are able to convince normally hostile parties to hear you out and encourage allies to do even better through speeches. Essentially, this perk is perfect if you need to convince somebody to do something your way or to please your partner in many ways.

This caused The Force to let out even more giggles and for Izuku to nearly faint. But luckily, The Force was able to prevent that, and they moved on.

[Cost 500 CP (Origin) (Discounted Origin) Expert Mechanical Designer (Perk)

You're an expert in designing anything that moves. From speeders to cars to starships, you're an expert in it. You need to design a Starship from scratch. You can do that. But building from scratch is another story. You may know how to design it, but you're nowhere near an expert in building such a thing with this perk alone.

"Huh, interesting. If you're going to build your own Starship from scratch, you're going to need this perk since expert engineering is not going to be enough. But I would recommend we wait on purchasing anything until we get through the entire list." The Force said, with Izuku nodding his head in agreement before continuing.

[Cost 500 CP (Origin) (Discounted Origin)] Expert Coder (Perk)

You're an expert and are able to program practically anything within reason. You want to program your droids to dance to the Macarena; you can do that. You want to program your droids to shoot more accurately; you can do that, too. If you want to program your ship's computer system to be more accurate during hyperspace, you can definitely do that, too. If it needs lines of code, you can do it with the skill of an expert.

"You're definitely going to need this, so I recommend we put this on a priority list since you're going to be building droids and all that. But again, I don't recommend you purchase anything until we get through the rest of the list." The Force said, with Izuku agreeing again. He was kind of glad that The Force was here, helping him through this; otherwise, he did not know what he would do.

[Cost 500 CP] Expert Pilot (Perk)

You're an expert in piloting anything from cars to land speeders to starships. If it moves, you can drive it. But this does not include navigation, so even though you knew how to fly the thing, figuring out where to go and how to get there is another deal altogether. Although you won't be completely useless in this area, this perk does not make you an expert in driving or flying into a combat scenario. Getting to A and B without crashing is what this perk is meant for.

"Another thing you're going to need if we build a Starship." The Force said, with Izuku adding it to the mental list of what he wanted.

[Cost 1000 CP] Scrap Master (Perk)

Many people who see a pile of trash and scrap only see trash, but to you, you see potential. Like the legendary MacGyver and Iron Man, you're able to build things from nothing but scraps that you find in the trash. You are also an expert in scavenging for parts in said trash. As long as you have the engineering knowledge, theoretically, if you have enough trash, you could build a working Starship out of it. Although it's probably going to look like garbage itself.

Oh my God, that sounded awesome, and it had so much potential. Ideas flashed through his head about what he could do with all these perks. And by accident, he purchased every single one of them. Freaking out, he spoke up.

"Fuck, I didn't mean to do that! " Izuku shouted out, with The Force letting out a sigh before responding.

"Sorry, kid, there are no refunds, but I'll set up the system so you need a clearer intent for when you want to purchase things again." The Force said, with Izuku thanking her.

And if Izuku thought about it, it was probably a good thing he bought them all anyway. All those perks melded perfectly together, and he was now able to do so much. Perhaps he could start by building a Droid since he had the B-1 blueprint and all the tools to do so, and even knew where a large quantity of trash was for him to get started. But as that thought crossed izuku's mind, a system window popped up in front of his face.

Accept / Deny

Izuku widened his eyes at his very first quest with excitement. But before he accepted, he analyzed all of the possibilities and downsides. If he accepted, he was most likely going to be locked into this quest line. But was rebuilding the CIS really that bad, especially with the values that were listed? But looking at the state of his world, he noticed that those ideals were not even close to be aligned with the CIS ones. Quirk discrimination was just like the species discrimination in Star Wars. People with a mutant Quirk were treated like garbage, although the quirkless were treated even worse. His Society ran on the concept of putting certain people down to ensure they lash out so they could be publicly beaten down. And as he thought through that, it sounded so... wrong. Imagine if he hadn't met the Gatekeeper. Would he still be seeing through rose-tinted glasses? And to be honest, that was a likely possibility, way more than he would have liked. But would building the CIS change his world for the better? Looking back at the quest displayed, he made his decision and accepted it. He now had a path forward, and he was definitely going to use his new abilities to achieve it, even if it was the last thing he does.

Chapter 3: To The Rescue

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The first thing Izuku needed to do was to make his way to the dumpster that he was literally living in. It was in an alleyway and was completely abandoned and surrounded by scrap metal. He's been living in it for around 3 days now, and so far, he hasn't had any trouble. When he approached, he opened the dumpster and slipped inside. Lighting up a flashlight that he was able to grab from his old apartment before being locked out of it, he took stock of what he had. He only had five cans of food and a jug of water left. Which means he was going to need food soon; he could refill the water at the nearby convenience store's bathroom, so that wasn't much of a problem for Izuku. But where was he going to get food? His thoughts were cut off by The Force speaking up.

"Okay, when my brother said he fucked up, I didn't know it was going to get this bad. You having a near-broken psyche was one thing, and it was easily patched up, but you're living out of a fucking dumpster when you're supposed to be living in an apartment complex. So how the fuck did you get here?" The Force asked, dumbfounded and disturbed.

"I thought you knew everything about me, and what do you mean you patched up my psyche?" Izuku asked as he looked through his stuff.

"Well, to be honest, I can know everything about you, but I don't want to. I only looked up what I needed to, especially since I didn't want to invade your privacy and be an all-knowing asshole or stuff like that. You're the first being that I'm not going to know everything about, and I kind of want to enjoy that little novelty. So I grabbed the Cliff Notes version and anything that my brother would want to tell me. As for your psyche, yeah, I patched that up. Didn't want you to have a mental breakdown in a critical moment. You're welcome, by the way." The Force said, with Izuku nodding his head in understanding.

He guessed he could understand her wanting to enjoy not knowing everything for once. He was also quite glad that he was not going to have to deal with a mental breakdown from all of this happening to him on the day he tried to commit suicide. As he looked over the pile of notebooks that he had collected over the years, he remembered that the manual for the system was in his backpack. Sliding it off, he opened it and pulled it out. It was a thick leather book, so there was definitely a lot to read. So as he opened it up, he decided to answer The Force's question that she asked.

"Well, my father from this universe, or would he be like my stepdad or adopted father? Whatever, it doesn't matter, but what matters is that he stopped sending me money about a month ago, and 3 days ago, I was kicked out of my apartment when I couldn't pay rent." Izuku said, which caused The Force to frown, which he could somehow tell, even though he couldn't see her.

"Then it's probably best if we move you into your personal reality; you got some reality points, so maybe we can make it livable." The Force suggested, with Izuku nodding his head in agreement. Looking through the manual, he found the section on personal realities.

The Basics of the Personal Realities System

Personal realities are the staple of the universal system. They are customizable pocket dimensions that can be customized by purchasing upgrades using Reality Points, or RP for short. To open a portal to a personal reality, place your hand on a door or hatch and think the word "Portal". That will connect the door or hatch to your personal reality. Any companions may also use this feature.

Note: The Default level for the personal reality connecting doorways cannot be closed while you are inside your personal reality, and you will need an upgrade to do that.

Updated Note: Since this is Star Wars themed, you may give permission to any Droid you build in your personal reality to use this feature. Any Droid built in your personal reality may stay in your personal reality even though the doors are disconnected or closed.

Izuku smiled at that. Grabbing his stuff and putting it into his school bag, he then moved to one of the hatches on the other side of the dumpster. This hatch was blocked by the scrap from the other side and would be perfect for his 'Portal'. He doubts anyone would find this hatch, and if he used one of the scrap metals inside his dumpster to block off the hatch temporarily, it could conceal it pretty well.

Placing his hand on the hatch and thinking 'portal', he then opened the hatch, and to his shock, it led straight into a wide open space. Crawling through the hatch, he started to look around. The place was huge and was essentially a mega warehouse. But right next to his entrance sat several pieces of large technology. He then remembered why it was in here in the first place. These were the personal reality upgrades that he got from his origin. It was essentially everything he needed to build a droid, and to be honest, he could not wait to get to work. But first things first, he needed to upgrade his personal reality so it was more livable. Pulling up his menu, he scrolled to the personal reality section and scrolled through the upgrades. There were a lot of upgrades, including the upgrades mentioned for his portal door.

[Cost 500 RP] Tier 1 Security Doors. (Personal Reality)

This allows you to shut the doors to your personal reality and lock them. Please note that the doors are not invincible and are Tier 1 security doors. The door is made of a solid, hard Metal with a basic lock. This lock can be picked, and with enough Force, the door can be broken down.

Izuku had 2000 reality points, so he made sure to mark that on his list to get before he continued scrolling. He didn't see any tier 2 security doors, which means he needs to buy tier one first and then upgrade from there, which was good to know. But eventually he found what he was looking for.

[Cost 500 RP] Basic Housing Complex (Personal Reality)

This personal reality upgrade allows you to have a housing complex that can house an infinite number of people within your personal reality. But this complex only has the bare essentials, including basic furniture. It does not have plumbing or electricity, and the only thing that works is the toilet.

[Cost 500 RP] Personal Reality Plumbing (Personal Reality)

This upgrade adds Plumbing to your personal reality. From water to waste disposal, your plumbing is always good to go. All your pipes for your plumbing do not need maintenance, and if broken, they will instantly be repaired. This upgrade also provides an infinite amount of fresh water, but without the electricity upgrade, hot water will not be provided.

[Cost 500 RP] Personal Reality Electricity (Personal Reality)

This upgrade provides electricity to all your facilities that require it and powers any device that is not native to your personal reality. The electricity is infinite and will always charge or power anything plugged into its electrical sockets. Maintenance for any of the wiring is not required, and if it needs to be shut down for any reason, there is a fuse box in the main area.

[Cost 500 RP] Essential Supplies (Personal Reality)

This upgrade will provide enough essential supplies for each occupant inhabiting the personal reality every week. The supplies are only the essentials, like eggs, milk, cheese, bread, toilet paper, etc. So don't expect anything too fancy.

Izuku frowned. He didn't have enough points to get all the upgrades he wanted at this moment, so he needed to think. Deciding to wait on the security doors for now and go with his camouflage idea for the hatch leading to the dumpster, he bought the upgrades needed to make the personal reality livable. Once he did, he noticed another door appeared on the wall next to him. Quickly blocking off the hatch leading out of his personal reality, he moved towards the other door. Opening it led to a hallway with more doors. Opening one of them, he could not help but grin at the sight. It was a basic one-room apartment, but it was a little bit bigger than the one he lived in with his mom. Moving into the apartment, he noticed that it was pretty sparse and only had the essentials when it came to furniture. That was all right with him since it was better than sleeping on the floor. Heading to his new bedroom, he sat down on the admittedly comfortable bed. He then started pulling things out of his school bag and placing them on the table beside his bed. It wasn't much, just all his notebooks and two spares of his school uniform. And two sets of spares for his daily wear.

As he laid out his clothes, he decided to go take a shower. It was something that he had not enjoyed in a while, so he took his time and let himself soak in the warm water. It was a good thing that the essential supplies included soap, even though it was very simplistic. The soap was not anything special, just enough to do its job, which was okay for now. Exiting the shower, he threw his dirty clothes into the laundry machine and turned it on. He then went and put on his clothes that he had laid out. Organizing his stuff real quick, he then lay down on the bed and closed his eyes. His eyes then fluttered open as he heard the alarm on his phone. Rolling over, he groaned. He did not realize that he had fallen asleep. And he honestly wished he could sleep in a lot more. Especially since this was the first time in a very long time that he did not have nightmares. He guessed he could thank the Force for that, since she was the one who patched up his psyche. Getting up from his bed, he stretched and went to take a shower again. Getting out, he put on his school uniform and put it on. He then headed out of his personal reality and made his way to school.

It was pretty much an average day of school for Izuku. But what was different was the fact that Bakugo was way angrier than usual. But after school, he had decided to take that anger out on another student after the student accidentally bumped into him. It was then that Izuku got another quest.

"Kid, you should go for this quest." The Force suggested, but Izuku, on the other hand, was not completely sure. And he was quick to make that known.

"But I can't beat Bakugo," Izuku said into his mind.

"Look, you don't need to beat him; just distract him long enough for the other kid to get to safety. Plus, if you're going to go down the vigilante route, you're going to need combat skills, and this combat-related origin is your best shot of getting them early." The Force said, with Izuku still not sure. But the force could tell that he only needed another nudge for him to do it, so she gave him another push.

"How about if I give you a drawback that is perfect for this scenario and won't impact you too much, but instead benefits you?" The Force asked, with Izuku now interested.

"And what drawback is this?" Izuku asked, now curious.

[+1500 CP (on activation)] Childhood Tormentor (Drawback)

You have a childhood tormentor who is not afraid to beat you into a bloody pulp. To him, you are nothing but a stress reliever and have no worth in his eyes beyond that. This (Drawback) is related to only Katsuki Bakugo and will only activate when he is going after you with the intent to harm you or has thoughts of harming you while you are close by. You will receive this (Drawback) on the condition that you accept the quest of (Defend the innocent).

Okay, that was definitely an incentive. Especially since he attacks him all the time. This was a drawback that could be triggered; this could be a constant source of character points for him. It was too good to pass up, so with a sigh, he accepted the quest and stepped in front of Bakugo.

"Leave him alone, Bakugo." Izuku said in a nervous tone, but Bakugo was stunned for a moment since Izuku had used his last name and not his nickname.

But that confusion only lasted for a second as he locked eyes with Izuku. Izuku took this chance to signal the terrified kid behind him to run, which he did. And before Bakugo could go after him. Izuku did something that he normally wouldn't do, which was to punch Bakugo in his face. Before his bully could recover, Izuku booked it the opposite way from where the victim was running, and like he predicted, Bakugo was now running after him. His drawback even triggered giving him a whopping 1,500 CP. But that little victory was short-lived as he turned and entered an alleyway where his bully caught up with him. Bakugo launched a large explosion down the alleyway, sending Izuku flying off his feet. Landing on the ground harshly, Izuku tried to get back up, but another explosion hit him on the back, and he was pinned to the ground.

What followed was the second-worst beating he had in his entire life. Bakugo just laid into him with tons of explosions, tearing open the back of his blazer and severely burning his back. Izuku knew that he had to have fallen unconscious because when he opened his eyes next, his head was spinning, and Bakugo was nowhere to be seen. Attempting to get up, a sharp pain ran through his back, and he cried out in pain. Grabbing his school bag that he dropped when he was thrown through the air the first time, he pulled out a bundle of cloth and started placing burn cream all over it. He then placed it on his back. Pulling his hand back, he figured out that he was bleeding heavily from his back. So, gathering gauze and bandages, he started wrapping himself up.

As he finished, he noticed that his quest was marked complete. But before he could check his rewards, he heard a scream from somebody in the alleyway. Standing up, he spotted four people. Two of them looked like a rich couple, with one of them obviously being their daughter. Who was being held hostage by a man with a gun.

"Please don't hurt our daughter; we will give you anything you want." The woman pleaded for the safe return of her daughter.

The man was holding the girl by her hair, with a compact SMG-like gun that looked to be homemade. Izuku did not doubt that the gun was deadly. But as Izuku noticed that none of them saw him, his reckless heroic instincts kicked in, and he attempted to get closer. As he got closer, he noticed that his mind, even though heavily foggy, was completely calm. Some flashes of memory attempted to enter his mind, but he pushed them back. But as he did that, he accidentally stumbled and made some noise. The man turned around with the gun raised towards Izuku, but Izuku was close enough, and he reacted. Within seconds, Izuku disarmed the guy and laid him out flat on the ground. Keeping a tight hold on the gun, he pointed it towards the man and told him not to move. The man, realizing that their roles had been reversed, complied. Izuku slowly approached the man, and in one quick motion, he used the butt of the gun to knock him out.

The cheap metal and plastic that made up the butt of the gun bent under the blow. Like he had done it a million times, he ejected the magazine and cleared the chamber. Dropping the gun onto the floor, he turned around towards the family, and he noticed they were looking at him in complete shock. But his fuzzy and blurry mind, which was most likely caused by the amount of blood he had lost, barely registered that fact. Instead, he was more concerned for them, and as he took a step forward and tried to open his mouth to speak, nothing came out. As he tried to figure out what was wrong, his head spun with nausea. As he fell to his knees, memories that he had tried to push back up to now flooded his mind, overwhelming it, and darkness engulfed him, and he fell to the ground unconscious. The last thing he remembered seeing was the panicking look on their faces.

Chapter 4: People Who Actually Care

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Momo Yaoyorozu sat in the room where the boy who saved her life was now lying unconscious. After the boy collapsed and they saw the bleeding wound on his back, they immediately called for an ambulance. But after finding out the boy was quirkless, they refused to give him medical help. The police who were on scene did not even care about the boy. Which led her parents and her to try to take him to the hospital themselves. Where they too refused to treat him. Not wanting to waste time arguing with the people there, they took him back to their estate and called their private doctor, who had started attending to him. She did not know such Prejudice existed in the world to the point where a boy dying was denied medical help due to them simply being born without a quirk. It was utterly disgusting in her opinion, and she could not even imagine what the boy had to deal with on a daily basis, if this is how he was treated. Her thoughts were cut off when her parents entered the room. They had left to make some phone calls to their lawyers and some friends in the police department to look into the people who would refuse a boy medical help. The doctor, seeing this, approached as well, obviously intending to give them a full report.

"So, Dr. Smith, how is the boy?" Yana Yaoyorozu, Momo's mother, asked, with the doctor letting out a long sigh.

"I'm going to be frank, Mrs Yaoyorozu. This boy was brutalized, and from the scarring along his body, it is not the first time. Before he encountered you, it seemed like he had done some self-treatment on himself with enough experience that suggested that this wasn't the first time he had to do so. He also must have an insane amount of pain tolerance if he was able to take out an armed thug, like you said he did in the state he is in." Dr. Smith said with a hint of anger on the boy's behalf. And none of the Yaoyorozu could blame him. Child abuse in any form was an ugly and barbaric thing.

"Can you tell in what manner he was brutalized, and have you taken the pictures that I asked for?" Tadashi Yaoyorozu, Momo's father, asked, since he was the one trying to arrange an investigation into whoever assaulted the boy before he rescued his daughter. His father was quirkless, so he had no hatred for the boy. And he was positive he raised his daughter right for her to be the same way. And the fact that his father loved his wife like she was his own daughter, and her doing it in return, meant that his wife was the same as him.

"Yes, I have the pictures on my phone. I'll send them to you when I'm satisfied that the boy doesn't have internal bleeding. As for what manner he was assaulted. My guess is, some type of explosion quirk, pulling out his phone, he showed the scars that looked like they were healing on his arms. These are scars consistent with close-range explosions, which is clearly indicated by the starburst pattern. I recognized this scar pattern from my time volunteering in America as a paramedic during the Border Wars. Those Mexican cartels had a liking for using explosives. And since there are no shrapnel entry wounds and he was exposed to the explosions regularly, to have this many scars that date back at least a decade, it is safe to assume it is somebody's quirk. Now I need to run some more tests to make sure he's not suffering from internal bleeding. Since explosions tend to do that." The doctor said before walking back to his patient and grabbing some equipment to run more tests.

But his words left Momo in a State of Shock. She had never been exposed to something like this, and to find out that her savior was not only brutalized recently but regularly, put her in a State of Shock. Her mother and father, though, were quick to escort her out of the room. They knew under Dr Smith's care that the boy would recover; they did not doubt in their mind about that. He was one of the most skilled doctors in the world, rivaling the great recovery girl. After bringing their daughter to the lounge and calling their servants to grab them some snacks, Mr. Yaoyorozu left to make more phone calls. He was quite determined to find the person who had done this to the boy, and the two had no problem with that. The two sit there in comfortable silence, both with their own books in hand, for several hours until their doctor returned to update them. Mr Yaoyorozu had also returned for the update.

"The good news is that the boy has no internal bleeding, and there is going to be no permanent nerve damage. But his wounds are definitely going to scar. I am administering burn cream and painkillers to help limit the scarring and pain. But all you really need to do is keep his bandages cleaned and change them twice a day. You should also know that there are signs of him suffering from malnutrition, but that's nothing several good meals could not handle." The doctor said with all three Yaoyorozu nodding their heads in thanks. As the doctor left, Mr. Yaoyorozu spoke up.

"I have bad news. First, my contacts in the police believe they can't do much. But I have a friend in the department looking into it. The problem is we know very little about the boy, and information in the police database is out of date. What we know for sure is that his name is Izuku Midoriya. There is very little known about his father, but his mother died 6 years ago, and it seems he's been living alone ever since." Mr Yaoyorozu said with his daughter and wife frowning. But then a Spark ignited in his wife's eyes as she spoke up.

"Then this day forward, he is under our protection. Damien, have a room prepared for him and have one of the maids go out and get clothes in his size. Nothing too fancy, just comfortable, after all, we do not want to overwhelm him with the standards of high-class Society." Mrs Yaoyorozu said to her head butler, with her husband nodding in approval, as he spoke up.

"That is an excellent idea, my love. It would also provide our daughter the opportunity to make a friend her age." Mr Yaoyorozu said, with both his wife and daughter smiling at the idea. Momo did hope that her savior would be friends with her. She had never had a friend before, so she was hoping that he would be her first.

A Day Later

Izuku groggily opened his eyes, but when he did, he immediately winced and closed them. It felt like he had a run-in with Bakugo, and as memory returned to him, he realized that was exactly what had happened. He also remembered waking up and beating up a thug who took a girl hostage before passing out again. As that thought passed through his mind, a whole swirl of memories and information entered it. It was enough to give him a headache; when it eventually passed, he opened his eyes and looked around. And nearly had a panic attack. Luckily, The Force was there and quickly spoke up.

"You're safe, kid. Those people you saved, apparently, were really rich and really nice. So nice in fact, that after they figured out you were quirkless, they still try to save you. Even after the hospital turned them away due to your status, they brought you to their home and got their private doctor to look over you. Oh, and that's where you're at, by the way." The Force said, which caused Izuku to relax just a bit. But he was not going to let his guard down in an unknown environment if he could help it. But it was probably a good idea to check on what he got, just in case a fight breaks out. With that thought in mind, he opened his menu.

[Free (Origin)(Instantly added)] Mandalorian (Origin)

You were raised with the culture and ideals of a Mandalorian. Your mother was born on Mandalore's moon, Concordia. She was a member of House Ordo, and you are the last living member of your house that you know of. And since your mother was the previous leader, you are now the heir. You were raised with the ideals of the True Mandalorians. Your house had many enemies but just as many allies. Your mother had left behind her full Mandalorian set of beskar-plated armor for you to eventually reforge for yourself. But until you go on the verdgoten 'The Mandalorian rite of passage,' you are forbidden to wear beskar armor. Luckily, your mother had a set of durasteel armor for when you were old enough. She also left her large assortment of weapons for you to inherit, as well as her starship, which she used to get to this planet. Your mother traveled through a Stable wormhole and several weeks of sublight to get here. The location of the Wormhole is in the nav computer of her ship.

As he finished reading, all the memories that were running through his head had lined up perfectly. It was almost like he had a second mother. She was nearly identical to the original but had a fierceness behind her when he trained with her. Ever since he could walk, he remembered her teaching him, and it felt just as real as the time with his other mother. It didn't help that she died the same way his mother did, sacrificing herself to protect him. It was all confusing, but yet he knew that this other version of his mother was real and had taken the place of his old one. He loved them both deeply, and both felt equally real. Squeezing his eyes shut, he took a deep breath and then let it out before continuing down the list. He could sort his feelings out later.

Wasn't that a kick in the Gett'se (Balls)? Looking through his new memories, it would take him a total of 2 months to get there, and he was going to need an extra month added to that just to make everything safe, so he had a little over a year to get prepared and to get going. Well, that should be fine since he had a ship in all that. Perhaps even after his verdgoten, he can make contact with the separatist holdouts and check out the secret separatist bases. He could also see about getting some of the Mandalorians on his side when he restarts the separatist movement. Deciding to think about that more later, he moves on to the descriptions of his newest drawbacks.

[+1000 CP (Origin) (Instantly added)] Jetii Slayer (Drawback)

Your people are known for many things, and one of them is killing Jedi. Unfortunately, the Jedi know this all too well. All Jedi will be extremely cautious around you if not outright hostile. This also means the Jedi will not take any chances around you and will not underestimate you, even if you are missing all your limbs.

[+500 CP (Origin) (Instantly added) (Temporary)] Did Not Complete Verd'goten (Drawback)

You did not complete your verd'goten, the Mandalorian right of adulthood. This drawback will remain until you complete your verd'goten. Until this drawback is removed, you are restricted from using Beskar and any high-tech Mandalorian weaponry, armor, vehicle, or droid.

Okay, the first one may cause him issues, but hey, he was part of a culture that hunted Jetii for fun, so it made sense. As well as the other one. Now, finished looking over his current drawbacks, izuku moves to his perks.

[Free (Origin)(Instantly added)] I Am A Mandalorian (Perk)

You have been raised as a Mandalorian and trained as one. Because of this, you know the Mandalorian culture like the back of your hand as well as their language. Your body has been brought up to its physical peak, and all your physical capabilities have been increased by five percent. Your capacity for learning any combat or weapon training has increased by 50%. You now have knowledge of tactics and battlefield strategy. Any Mandalorian that you encounter is more willing to help you unless they are an enemy of your clan.

[Free (Origin)(Instantly added)] A Warrior's mind (Perk)

Your Mandalorian training has hardened your mind and honed you for combat. During combat situations, you are able to think clearly, and you are resistant to any Force Persuasions. You will now enjoy combat like any other Mandalorian warrior would. The chances of freezing up have been lowered, along with the chances of you getting PTSD, and only the most horrific sites will risk the chance of you developing PTSD.

"Oh, that one's going to be handy," The Force said, with Izuku agreeing mentally.

[Free (Origin)(Instantly added)] Weapons are my religion (Perk)

Weapons are your religion; as such, you know how to use practically every weapon you can get your hands on. You can use any weapon with the skill of an expert. You are also an expert with dual-wielding one-handed weapons, but you are not a master. Civilian-run Customs offices are less willing to disarm you and are quite happy to use the excuse that it was your religion to their supervisor. When you clean and maintain your guns, your mind will relax, and you will start to regain your stamina at a rapid rate. You are now an expert in using any Mandalorian weapon or armor and know how to forge and maintain said weapons.

"Okay, that's pretty funny and pretty cool. I would love to see you walk into a civilian airport and tell the guards that weapons are my religion." The Force said with a chuckle.

"You're one to talk, the Jedi who practically worship you get to use that excuse on any transport with their lightsabers." Izuku shot back. Having the capability of getting passed customs at an airport with all his weapons or most of them was going to be a bonus.

"Touche." The Force said with another giggle. But Izuku just rolled his eyes and moved on to his next perk.

[Free (Origin)(Instantly added)] Human Weapon (Perk)

You are a Human Weapon; every part of you is a weapon. As such, you are an expert in hand-to-hand combat. After all, a Mandalorian is truly never unarmed and only defenseless when they're dead.

[Free (Origin)(Instantly added)] Fighting like a Mandalorian (Perk)

You've been trained in many forms of combat, and as such, you are an expert in every Mandalorian fighting style. Including fighting styles that involve a blade and even a lightsaber. So don't worry, you are 20% less likely to cut your own arm off when using a lightsaber.  This only gives you fighting styles relating to the Mandalorians, so no lightsaber forms for you.

[Cost 500 CP (Instantly added)] Quick Draw (Perk)

You are more accurate and deadly when you draw A one-handed weapon and fire from the hip. The speed of your draw is increased every time you draw your weapon. But eventually, you will Plateau unless you start using the force. This skill also works for dual-wielding one-handed weapons.

[Cost 1500 CP (Instantly added)] Prodigy in the art of War (Perk)

You are a prodigy in the art of War; you are quickly able to come up with strategies on the spot and are quick to adapt to changing situations. You are also now an expert in leading your men into combat. You also have extensive knowledge of warfare itself, including stuff from Earth. When in a full-scale combat, your men's morale will increase by 5% for every 50 men on the battlefield, and decrease the enemy's morale by 5% for every 50 men on the battlefield. This does not work on non-sentient beings. After all, there are some things too stupid to care.

As Izuku saw the bottom two perks that he could buy, he could not help but instantly buy them. Yeah, it was 2000 CP down the drain, but damn, he needed them. For one, he was getting a pseudo-battle meditation without even using the force. And God damn it was going to be useful when he started going to war. And quick draw, yeah, most of it was because of the cool Factor, but if he could dispatch enemies before they could even blink, that was going to be a major boon. His thoughts were cut off when the door to his room opened. Whipping his head around, he quickly realized that was a bad idea. Cursing several times in Mando'a, he was able to catch a glimpse of the person who was now running out of the room. It appears that it was a made, and she was most likely now going to get whoever was in charge of him. This gave him enough time to come up with a plan. He really did not want to hide his Mandalorian heritage since he now took great pride in it. That, and he noticed that he was starting to think and speak Mando'a, so hiding that was going to be difficult. He did not want to come off as a complete weirdo, especially since these people saved his life. His thoughts were cut off when the force spoke up.

"You know you could just tell them the truth; after all, you do have the perk (Out Of Nowhere)." The Force said, causing Izuku's eyes to go wide. Pulling up the perk real quick, he began to look over it.

[Free (Origin)(Instantly added)] Out Of Nowhere (Perk)

People seem to be far more accepting of what you claim to be. You're an omnipotent god here to test humanity? Eh, we got five of those last week. Last member of a dying race? You're not the only one. This is your springboard into getting into a setting. What comes next depends on you. This perk applies to any Companions that join you as well.

As Izuku finishes reading, he begins to think over the idea. But there was a problem, which he quickly made known to The Force.

"But this only makes them more open to the idea that I am Mando'ade." Izuku said, with The Force letting out a small giggle.

"Yeah, but you have a spaceship full of arms and weaponry that are not from this world, do you not?" The Force said, causing Izuku's eyes to widen in realization before letting out a smile. But that smile quickly turned into a frown as another thought crossed his mind.

"Yeah, that could work. But could I even trust them with that knowledge? Who says they won't just take the ship?" Izuku said, with the Force letting out a sigh.

"Kid, they're 100% trustworthy. Especially since a day ago, they agreed to take you under their protection. They seem to be very nice and trustworthy people. Especially their daughter, who is going to be a nice surprise for you when you meet her," The Force said, with Izuku frowning at her words.

The Force normally wouldn't have revealed such information, but Izuku needed people he could trust, and these people were definitely good candidates for that. Especially the girl; there were many good possible futures for the boy if he had her by his side. And there was one of them she was more interested in, and as such was quite happy to nudge Izuku in the direction of that future. Was this manipulative? Ahh, a little bit, but hey, she was an omnipotent entity, and she got bored easily. So if nudging him in certain directions will give her more entertainment down the road, she is going to do it.

But that thought was cut off when the door to his room opened again. But this time, 4 individuals walked in. One was obviously a doctor who moved to check his vitals. One was a gorgeous girl around his age with raven black hair that was tied up in a ponytail. Another was a woman who looked like an older version of what he assumed to be her daughter. The other was a man with short black hair and a pair of business glasses on his face. The man was wearing an extremely expensive suit that screened Don't fuck with me; I'm rich! And screw the rules, I have money! Izuku attempted to sit up, but a sharp pain spread through his back, and he cursed and used quite a few choice words in Mando'a. This caused Momo's eyes to widen a bit, as well as her mother's.

"Language, young man." Yana Yaoyorozu, Momo's mother, said as a doctor got Izuku to lie back down. But this only caused Izuku to narrow his eyes a bit before speaking up.

"Sorry, I did not know anyone else on this planet spoke Mando'a," Izuku said, with Yana speaking up again.

"My daughter and I are quite fluent in that language since we're both fans of all things Star Wars. And the Mandalorian culture is quite a fascinating part of it. I'm assuming then you are a fan of that series as well. " Yana said, with Izuku nodding his head in understanding.

"Ahh, so you're not Mando'ade, just interested in our culture enough to learn our language," Izuku said, causing all three Yaoyorozu to look at him weirdly.

"You speak like you believe that you are a Mandalorian." Momo said, confused.

"You might think I'm crazy, like everybody else, but I am Mando'ade. Although I haven't gone on my Verd'goten yet, I have been raised as a Mandalorian. And although I was raised on Earth, my mother was born on Concordia. My mother came here to raise me away from my family's enemies." Izuku said with everyone in the room, eyes going wide like a dinner plate, and their jaws dropping to the floor. But the first one to recover was Momo's father, Tadashi Yaoyorozu. And he was quick to speak up.

"Do you have proof of your claims?" Tadashi asks, with Izuku narrowing his eyes at him before speaking up.

"Yeah, I do. I have the ship that my mother and I came to your planet in, as well as my mother's and my gear that is on board it." Izuku said with his eyes still narrow at them in distrust. Yeah, The Force said they could be trusted. But he was not going to take The Forces' word for granted. Greed is a powerful thing and not to be underestimated.

"You really have a Starship. Can you show it to me... I... I mean to us?" Momo asked with a stutter at the end, as she tried to correct herself. But Izuku only narrowed his eyes at her as he spoke up.

"And how do I know that when I show it to you, you won't just seize it for yourself? It's currently my only way off this rock, so how can I trust you, especially when most of your planet hates my guts for simply not having a mutation in my genome?" Izuku asked, with the three wincing at his words. Yeah, how he's been treated so far was barbaric. And even though they saved his life and treated his wounds, they still had just met, so revealing where his ship was located was still a little too much to ask for.

"You're right, we have just met. And trust is earned, not given. So allow us the chance to gain your trust. Will start by telling you what my family and I have discussed when you are unconscious. We have both discussed that we will allow you to stay with us if you wish." Tadashi said with Izuku looking at him in suspicion.

"And why would you do that? What's the catch?" Izuku asked with Momo and her mother frowning.

'What did this boy go through for him to distrust people like this? ' Yana thought to herself as she spoke up.

"There is no catch. We simply wish to pay you back for saving our daughter's life. Our family believes in paying our debts in full. And as long as our family name remains, yours will be protected by us. Think of this as a life debt of sorts." Yana said, with her husband nodding his head in agreement. This caused Izuku's eyes to go wide at their words before softening.

"Then I will not abuse your generosity. Do you know how long I will be bedridden for?" Izuku asked, causing the doctor to speak up.

"Another day or two at least. And another week without any extraneous activities." The doctor said, with Izuku nodding his head in understanding.

"Speaking of your injuries, would you mind telling us who attacked you exactly?" Tadashi asked, his eyes narrowing.

"Just a bully at school. If it wasn't for the fact that I hadn't eaten in a couple of days, I would have done better against them." Izuku said, not completely lying. It was just the truth from a certain point of view. Plus, he didn't want them to question his sudden jump in combat capabilities. And since he knew he was suffering from malnutrition, this was a perfect way to cover that up.

"And does this bully have a name?" Tadashi asked with a frown.

"Yeah, it's Katsuki Bakugo's quirk explosion. But there's nothing you can do; apparently, according to the police that I went to one time, it is not illegal for somebody to use their Quirk on somebody who doesn't have one. And if it wasn't for the fact that that school is the only place that gives a free education, and that it is required by law that I need one. Believe me, I wouldn't be going there. Hell, I can't even fight back because I would be expelled on the spot if I did." Izuku said, with the Yaoyoruzus, including the doctor, looking horrified.

"Well then, in good conscience, I cannot allow you to go to that school again. And since you are right, you need an education, I'll have you join Momo in her lessons. And I assure you, I will be looking into this in the meantime." Tadashi said, with Yana speaking up.

"I wholeheartedly agree with my husband. I will contact Momo's private tutor and have her draw up a lesson plan for you. For now, I think it's best if we leave the doctor to attend to his patient." Yana said, with the other two Yaoyorozus nodding their heads in agreement. And with those nods, the three left the room, leaving the doctor to attend to Izuku.

Chapter 5: A New Companion?

Chapter Text

After 2 weeks of living at the Yaoyorozu estate, Izuku was finally approved to start training again. He knew from his alternate memories that he had been training since he was a little kid. But he needed to make sure that he could still do the things he remembered doing. Momo even decided to help him by being his sparring partner. And it was quickly proven that he indeed could do what he remembered he was capable of. His combat training was so impressive that Momo couldn't even beat him in hand-to-hand combat. But that was mostly because she didn't have a fighting style of her own. It was why he decided to start teaching her the basics of Beskar'pel ( Iron Skin, A Mandalorian Martial art) and Beskar'rev (Iron Fist, A Mandalorian Martial art). These were the two standard fighting styles of a Mandalorian. Beskar'pel ( Iron Skin, A Mandalorian Martial art) focused on defense while delivering devastating counterattacks, while Beskar'rev (Iron Fist, A Mandalorian Martial art) focused on delivering devastating and precise attacks that could easily kill or incapacitate your opponent. Both styles were brutal and were designed to end the fight as quickly and brutally as possible, something pretty typical for a Mandalorian. There were other fighting styles he knew, but they were clan styles, and he did not feel comfortable teaching them to her. But something had been bothering Momo ever since they started. And at the end of their latest training session, she spoke up.

"You know, ever since we started, I told you that I wanted to be a hero. But every time I brought it up, you seemed not to be happy. Do you not like Heroes or something?" Momo asked, causing Izuku to let out a sigh before speaking up.

"Sorry, it's just my mother was killed by a so-called hero, and it was the number two at that." Izuku said, Shocking Momo to her core.

"W-What! That can't be true. Endeavor is the number two hero; he would never get away with murder." Momo said, completely shocked, but Izuku just snorted before grabbing his laptop as he spoke up again.

"It's because he's the number two hero that he gets away with it. And my mom isn't the only one he killed." Izuku said before pulling up a large file of reports that he had compiled over the week he was recovering.

He needed to do research to see if what the gatekeeper said was true, and as he investigated Endeavor, he could not stop. He's pretty sure he has gathered enough evidence to put him behind bars for life or get him the death sentence. And as Momo looked over the evidence, her face turned more pale until she reached a certain graphic piece of evidence, forcing her to dive for a trash can as she puked her guts out. Rushing over to her, he started rubbing her back in soothing circles before speaking up.

"Sorry, I should have labeled that section before showing you. I keep forgetting that I'm practically desensitized to this kind of violence." Izuku said apologetically, and when Momo was finished heaving, she looked straight at him like he had shattered the moon with a nuke and spoke up.

"How has he not been arrested? How is he not in jail? How the hell is he a hero? Why haven't you shown this to anyone?" Momo started to talk rapidly until Izuku stopped her and spoke up.

"In that order, because he is the number two hero, and him getting arrested would damage the reputation of all heroes, creating public distrust to the point where the HPSC will lose power. As for why he is not in jail? Again, it is the HPSC; they are most likely using this evidence to control him so he could be their personal attack dog. As for how he even got his hero license, villains can't have too many powerful quirks on their side. It will ruin the balance, and maintaining that balance is the only reason why the HPSC remains in power. As for why I haven't told anyone? Because if I did, I would be the next one dead. And what makes it worse, Momo, he's not the only one." Izuku said to her as he pulled up more folders containing evidence for each hero he's been researching over the week. And as Momo looked over more and more evidence, she started to grow more and more disheartened. Seeing this, Izuku let out a long sigh before speaking up again.

"Look, Momo, if you wish to be a hero, I won't blame you or judge you for it; you're a good person, and I'm positive you will hold up to the ideals of what a hero means. But personally, I don't want to support a system that is this broken. Especially since it's illegal for me to be a hero."

Izuku said, causing Momo to turn her head so fast towards him that he thought she would snap her neck.

"What! What do you mean it's illegal for you to become a hero?" Momo exclaimed loudly in shock.

"Momo, I don't have a quirk. All a hero license does is give an individual permission to use their Quirk to save people, as well as in public. And because I don't have a quirk, I am legally not qualified for a license." Izuku said, causing Momo to look sad and a bit angry. But when Izuku smirked at her, she could not help but look confused. Deciding to elaborate, Izuku spoke up.

"It's also illegal for them to arrest me if I decide to start saving people out of the blue. In fact, anyone could do it since vigilantism is the act of stopping crime with their quirk. And as long as they don't use one, and there's proof they didn't, or a lack of proof that they did, it's completely legal to start going around stopping crime." Izuku said with a vicious smile that shocked Momo to her core.

"You plan on becoming a vigilante, don't you?" Momo accused, causing Izuku's smile to grow.

"Like I said, it's not vigilantism if I don't have a quirk, plus I'm going to do more than that; I plan on changing society for the better." Izuku said, causing Momo to become curious.

"And how do you plan on doing that?" Momo asked, curious, but Izuku only smiled as he spoke up.

"Have you ever heard of the CIS?" Izuku asked, with Momo nodding her head slowly.

"Yeah, they were the bad guys who fielded a droid army during the Clone Wars." Momo said, a bit confused.

"No, the separatist movement was not the bad guy. They were simply members of worlds who wanted to leave the Republic. And if the books here are right, it was Palpatine who was behind the war and used the movement that wanted freedom for all sentients as a tool for him to become emperor. Right now, there are tons of separatist holdouts, with the Empire still trying to solidify its status. My father was a very powerful man within the separatist military. Though he is now dead, he was able to create several secret separatist facilities that I have access to. I plan on bringing back the separatist movement with Mandalore at its head. I want to build a group that is for the people first and foremost, and where every sentient life, no matter what form it takes, will have equal rights. That is my dream—to bring true peace not only to this world but also to the entire galaxy." Izuku said, with Momo's eyes widening in shock, then, to Izuku's surprise, they softened as she spoke up.

"Then I want to help you achieve this dream." Momo said with a soft and warm smile. As those words left her mouth, Izuku got a notice, and to his surprise, it seemed like Momo saw it too.

Seeing the pop-up screen, Momo looked at Izuku with complete confusion. Then a voice popped into their heads.

"Oh, sweet, I get to talk to another kiddo." The Force said, scaring Momo half to death, which only caused The Force to giggle. And for Izuku to let out a sigh before he spoke up

"Momo, meet The Force; The Force, meet Momo." Izuku said tiredly, but this only made Momo's mouth drop.

"The Force, as in the mystical energy that the Jedi and Sith use? Are you telling me it's sentient?" Momo asked, shocked and confused, but this question only made The Force giggle.

"Yep, that's me, and I'm totally sentient, always have been. And before you ask, no, I did not know there was a companion system. Then again, neither of us has gone through the manual completely yet. And before you ask, no, the system is not a quirk, and the system was given to izuku because my brother inadvertently killed his mother when he wanted to buy tea. Even though I'm pretty sure it was Endeavor's choice to activate his quirk at full blast, knowing that civilians were going to die in the process. But hey, guilt is something my brother isn't used to dealing with. So, feeling really bad, he decided to give him this awesome power and gave me the chance to be the supervisor. I can give drawbacks, perks, and quests, and I can talk to both of you and give you advice. Unfortunately, I can only talk to people connected to the system, so don't worry about anyone hearing us. Just speak in your head, and I'll respond." The Force said in a cheery tone, causing Momo to be absolutely dumbfounded. But after a minute of seeing Momo in a dazed state, he spoke up.

"Why don't we take this to my room? That way, you will have enough time to process everything." Izuku said, with Momo nodding dumbly at him. Izuku and Momo then got up and made their way to Izuku's room. It took a good couple of minutes to get there due to the size of the place, but when they got there, they closed the door and sat down on the bed. Then a minute later, Momo finally spoke up.

"Is there anything else I need to know?" Momo asked, with Izuku nodding his head.

"There are several things you will need to know. And we will get to them later, but I think we should go over your perks and drawbacks first." Izuku said, with Momo nodding her head in agreement. The two then pulled up the menu again, and she looked over her first drawback.

[+500 CP (Instantly added)] Bound By The Force (Drawback)

You are bound to the universe's most unpredictable and unknowable entity in ways that no other could ever achieve. You may not be a Force user, but you have the undivided attention of an entity so powerful that if she wished, she could shatter a universe. Expect to deal with her whimsical nature and any path that she sets forward towards you. She may also interfere and grant you additional drawbacks. After all, nature could be a bitch, and she's definitely a force of one.

"Well, that's just plain rude." Momo said.

"I know, right? My brother is the one who made this system, and he's a real jerk to me sometimes." The Force said, and with that, they moved on to her next drawback.

[+500 CP (Origin) (Instantly added)] CIS Affiliations (Drawback)

You are now affiliated with the CIS. Some worlds will most likely want to tear you limb from limb. And others will simply want to shoot you. Luckily for you, it's not every world, just all the ones that bought into the Republic and Empire propaganda, which is a fuck ton of them.

"Okay, that could be a problem." Momo said, with Izuku nodding his head in agreement before continuing.

[+500 CP (Origin) (Instantly added)] Tied to the main player (Drawback)

You are now tied to the main player in more ways than one. Any quest you complete, you will get CP from, but failure of quests will also affect you. Any group that the main player is a part of, you are now tied to. Any drawbacks that the player has may affect you as well. If you betray the player, you will receive a heavy penalty from the system, which could range from anything depending on the severity. This includes death, incapacitation, or complete removal from the system. Please note that the more severe punishments will only be implemented if warranted. So you don't need to worry your precious little head if you slip up by accident. Those usually mean a loss of CP. The Punishments are determined by the systems manager and not the system itself. So you might want to pray to the Force because she's quite a bitch when it comes to punishments.

"Okay again, dick move, brother. And Momo, do not worry; I won't do anything that isn't warranted." The Force said, with Momo sighing in relief. The mystical energy seems to be pretty nice, so unless she does something really bad, she should be fine. With that out of the way, they moved on to her perks.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] Quirk: Creation (Perk)

You have a quirk: you now have the capability of creating any non-organic item by using the lipids in your body. As long as you know the molecular structure of the item and its blueprint. You are unable to get fat, and you are a lot heavier as a result of your Quirk.

"Well, the not getting fat part is new." Momo said after she blinked at the screen for a second.

"What can I say? It's a benefit of the system." The Force said before they started to move on.

[Free (Origin) (Instantly added)] I'm Rich (Perk).

You are rich as fuck. So rich, in fact, that the system is too lazy to calculate it. Money is power, and you definitely have a lot of money. You have received a universal bank card. This bank card will allow you to draw from your system account directly and translate to any form of currency that is needed. If lost or stolen, the bank card will immediately appear in one of your pockets. You're also able to spawn cash currency and in any form needed from the bank card. There is also an easily traceable paper trail for all your purchases made by this perk. So if you want to buy things discreetly, this is not the way to do it.

All three of them were absolutely shocked at this perk. Because let's be honest, that's kind of broken. Practically infinite money in any form you want? Yeah, they're probably going to abuse the hell out of this.

"The only problem I can see is that we cannot figure out how much money we have in the bank, and that the paper trail is easily tracked." Momo said, as she analyzed the perk, but The Force just snorted at her in amusement, as she responded.

"Honey, my brother is the opposite of lazy. The fact that he's opting out of counting how much cash you have is because you have too much for the system to track. And I'm going to tell you right this second that is too much for you to spend in seven of your lifetimes, no matter what you do." The Force said, shocking both of them. It took them a good minute to process her words and to recover; when they did, they moved on to Momo's next perk.

[Cost 500 CP] Screw the rules, I have money (perk).

Money has the capability of doing many things, and one of them is bribery. With enough money, you're able to bribe anyone as long as they have a greedy bone in their body. Need to get out of jail? Bribe the guard to let you go. Need to get past the checkpoint without anyone knowing; pay the guard to look the other way. You need to smuggle something on board, and guards are getting a little too nosy. A credit chip in the right hands will make them look the other way. But, unfortunately, those hardcore paragon types or people completely loyal to their cause will not be affected. So be careful who you bribe; otherwise, it may backfire on you.

"Okay, that seems like an awesome perk. Combined with I'm Rich (Perk), it makes a pretty good combo," Izuku said, with the two agreeing before moving on to their next perk.

[Cost 500 CP] Sleight of Hand (Perk)

One of the greatest skills that all thieves and assassins have is the art of sleight of hand. From pickpocketing to weapons concealment to a simple party trick, this skill allows you to do all that and more. If you need to do something stealthy with your hands, this is the perk for you.

[Cost 500 CP] A Quirky Sleight of Hand (Perk)

Quirk use is quite an obvious thing for any trained professional to spot. But you are one of the few who are able to hide that with a simple skill that you have perfected. Any obvious signs of Quirk use are now well hidden by your skills in Sleight of Hand. But this only works if you do as little Quirk use as possible; after all, you bursting into flames would be obvious to anyone, and no matter how you wave your hands, you couldn't change that. In addition, the smaller the quirk use, the lower the likelihood of somebody spotting you using it. Hell, if it's small enough, even a trained professional with supervision wouldn't see a damn thing. This perk requires you to already possess the Sleight of Hand perk.

After reading the last one, Momo decided to buy all three since all three were quite useful. When that was done, Momo insisted on knowing what izuku could do. Izuku did not argue and told her everything he could do, even telling her about the quest to build a B1 as well as his verd'goten one and his plans for it. Momo offered to buy him the parts he needed to build his B1, but Izuku declined immediately. Her perk created an obvious paper trail, and he kind of didn't want anyone knowing that he was building a droid army—well, not until it's too late, that is. Instead, he told her of what he had in mind. Takoba Municipal Beach Park used to be a beautiful beach, but now it is nothing but a dumping yard for everything. And with his perk, Scrap Master, he could scavenge the parts he needed to build his B1. And any other droid he wanted to build, for that matter. Momo, loving the idea, had agreed to help him out and even offered to use her quirk to make parts that he couldn't find. With their plans made, they had only one thing to do, and that was to convince Momo's parents.

Chapter 6: First Steps To Progress

Chapter Text

Luckily for the two, it did not take much convincing to convince Momo's parents to let them go to an illegal dumping ground. The only condition they had was that Izuku would be armed. He had already shown off his skill with a gun to the Yaoyorozus. But his skill with a blaster was way better; as such, he had agreed to go grab a blaster from his ship and bring it with them when they went out. In this society, projectile weapons of all types were legal for self-defense. The problem with that, though, is that this did not stop the villains from using them. Even though heroes died from more bullets than quirks. But heroes still saw it as a sign of weakness to have a weapon strapped to your hip. Hell, most heroes didn't even properly protect themselves by wearing any type of ballistic protection. An idiotic concept that Izuku was quite eager to hammer into some people's skulls if any hero with a God complex even dared look their way wrongly.

But lucky for them, he was not looking to get in trouble for attacking a hero. And was simply being prepared for any would-be attacker to rear their ugly head. But luckily for any would-be attacker, he left his weapon on stun and only had one on him at a time. He also disguised it with the help of Momo since he planned on using it during his vigilante career. His WESTAR-34 blaster pistol was cleverly disguised as a basic ballistic weapon, and he doubted anyone could tell them apart at a glance. But Izuku even doubted that he was going to need to use it. The place was in a good-ish neighborhood and had a small number of heroes patrolling it. None of the heroes' patrols will be anywhere near the beach, but that's perfect for them since they didn't want anyone knowing what they were doing.

When they finally made it to the beach, the first thing they did was to build a rickety shack so Izuku could have access to his pocket dimension. The reason they were making a shack was so people wouldn't wonder how the hell he was moving large items into some random door next to a pile of trash. And if anyone asked, they would just say they were moving good salvage into that shack so it would be safe from the elements until they were able to take it home with them. As they built the shack, Izuku somehow managed to find an old security door. And with Momo's quirk, they were able to put a high-grade digital lock and fingerprint scanner on it. This will hopefully protect his pocket dimension while they are inside, and anyone who attempts to breach it will set off an alarm warning them. When that was all done, the two finally got to work.

Izuku went through trash looking for usable parts as Momo grabbed everything that wasn't usable and threw it in the Matter Converter. The matter converter didn't make any parts, but it was able to convert any matter that you put into it into raw materials. All you really have to do is select what material you want it to be converted into, then give the matter converter a sample of that material, and then add the garbage. And bam, you get the material you need. Some of the materials took more matter than others, and it wasn't a one-to-one conversion rate. But hey, when you theoretically could make any material you want, it was damn worth it.

Momo was completely in awe of the machine, especially since it was basically her mother's quirk, but like Momo, her mother used her lipids. Her mother could only make raw materials like this machine, and it used way more lipids than Momo needed to use. The fact that a machine like this existed and that it existed in Star Wars was completely awesome. Speaking of Star Wars, Momo and Izuku had talked about how the book series could exist in real life. And to her great shock, The Force answered that very question.

Flashback

"I just gave old Georgie some Force visions. As well as some other people." The Force simply said with a shrug that both of them somehow felt.

"So you're saying all of Star Wars media was just Force visions you gave them, and they're all accurate." Momo said excitedly.

"Most stuff that is connected to Legends continuity, yes. Anything marked Disney Canon, take it with a pile of salt." The Force said with the two nodding their heads.

"No wonder the Disney Canon was garbage. No one got a force vision." Momo said her dislike for Disney canon was obvious.

"Well, I did give them Force Visions; it's called the Thrawn trilogy. It's not my fault they wanted to do their own thing. At least they did get some things right, although there were a lot of things they simply got wrong. But old Georgie is kind of in that same boat when it comes to that." The Force said, with both nodding their heads in understanding.

Flashback End

It took them an entire week, but eventually Izuku got enough parts and raw material to start building a B1. Momo wanted to learn more about Star Wars tech, so she watched him build it and helped out where she could. But when the B-1 was finished, it was time to go over the code. But as Izuku read through the code, he could not help but be disgusted. There was so much junk code and unnecessary safeguards that were put into the B1s that it was just sad. It was like the CIS hired some idiot off the street to program their droids. Izuku decided to remove all the loyalty protocols and safeguards since the system had guaranteed their loyalty to him anyway. Plus, he really didn't like slavery in any form, and despite the Galaxy's opinion on droids, he was not going to treat any droid like they were. Something he let Momo know, and she agreed. Removing all the junk code should also have the effect of making him a lot smarter and able to do a lot more. But Izuku did not stop there; he revamped the code from the ground up, and now the B1 unit should be twice as smart and more capable than any other B1. When he uploaded the code into the Droid brain. Izuku and Momo cross their fingers and turn the B1 on.

"B1 Unit Activating!" The B1 said as it was completely activated. Looking around, it immediately spots Izuku and turns to him.

"What is my purpose, master?" The B1 asked, causing Izuku to wince a bit.

"Please do not call me master; I do not see you as a slave. My name is Izuku Ordo of House Ordo. As for what purpose I built you for. I honestly don't know. Perhaps I should allow you to decide your own purpose." Izuku said with the B1 staring at him before speaking up again.

"What do you wish me to do, Lord Ordo?" The B1 asked, causing Izuku to look at Momo.

"It seems like we're going to have to give it some time to gain its own individuality. I don't know how long that's going to take, but right now it's most likely just going to be running on its base programming until then." Izuku said, with Momo nodding her head in agreement. Turning back to the B1, Izuku gave it the order to help lug things around for Momo and himself. After he gave the order, he got a pop-up from his menu.

3 Days Later

Izuku finally decided to go out and do some vigilante work. He had equipped all of his Mandalorian armor and was already in the city, running across rooftops. Momo wanted to join him, but until she got used to the gear she made for herself, which was quite similar to his, he would not allow her to join him. He also wanted her to get down the basics of the Mandalorian fighting styles he's been teaching her. There's also the fact that she wasn't trained to use a blaster or a gun yet. So yeah, he was not going to let her join him until she was fully trained up and capable of defending herself without her quirk. Izuku also didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of her, since this is technically going to be his first combat scenario he's going to be in. And although he had gone through training. No amount of training could replace real-world experience. Something that he definitely does not have.

Izuku's thoughts were cut off when he heard a noise from an alleyway. Deciding to check it out, he made his way towards it. Looking down, he spotted 2 men. One had a suitcase, and the other had a duffel bag. As he was looking them over, he tuned his microphones in his helmet to pick up the conversation.

"Did you bring the money?" The man with the suitcase asked casually.

"Yeah, I got the money, all 20,000 right here. Did you bring the trigger?" The man with the duffel bag said as he opened it slightly, revealing the cash.

"Yep, six doses right here," the man with the suitcase said as he slid the suitcase over towards the other man.

Wordlessly, the other man threw the bag of cash to him. Izuku had enough evidence recorded to leave for the cops at this point, so he decided to act. Jumping down into the alleyway, he landed right in between the two men. The two men looked at him in shock, but Izuku was extremely fast on the draw, and in the blink of an eye, two stun blasts hit each man. Izuku was kind of disappointed at the lack of challenge. After disarming them, Izuku started tying the two up. But as he was writing on a sticky note attached to a data card that contained the recording of the drug deal, Izuku's instincts flared, and he dodged to the side. Looking where the attack came from, he noticed it was a man with a white scarf. Izuku did not need his helmet's identifying system or the hero database that he hacked to know who this man was. No, he just needed the fact that he was a big hero nerd, or at least used to be. The man was the underground hero Eraserhead. His quirk allowed him to erase people's quirks as long as they weren't a mutant type. This also meant this man fought quirkless regularly, which meant he was a really good hand-to-hand fighter. When Izuku found out about it, he became his second greatest hero. But after he learned the truth about this society, he had lost all respect for pretty much every hero. After all, they were supporting a system that was rotten to the core.

"So you're the great Eraserhead; your Quirk allows you to erase any emitter or transformation-type quirk." Izuku said in a synthesized voice, thanks to his helmet.

Before Izuku could say anything else, Eraserhead had already lashed out with his scarf and wrapped Izuku in it. Izuku, on instinct, activates his wrist blades and slices through the scarf like it was nothing. Before an average man could blink, Izuku had his blaster out of his holster and aimed towards Eraserhead and fired a stun round from it. Eraserhead was already on the move, and he was able to dodge it, but Izuku, quick as a whistle, activated an attachment on his wrist and fired a dart, hitting Eraserhead in the leg. Eraserhead hit the ground like a sack of rocks and didn't get up.

Izuku, with his blaster ready, approached Eraserhead, and when he didn't move, he kicked him over. Eraserhead was still awake, but he was not able to move.

"Don't worry about it, Eraserhead; the paralytic poison isn't deadly, but you won't be moving for at least a couple of minutes," Izuku said, causing the man to glare at him. But there was something that Eraserhead needed to know, so he spoke up.

"How did you fire that shot when I was erasing your quirk?" Eraserhead asked/demanded, but Izuku only laughed as he finished writing up the sticky note and attached it to the card. Dropping the recording of the meeting on top of Eraserhead, Izuku spoke up.

"Sorry, my blaster has nothing to do with a quirk. It's straight-up technology; in fact, I don't even have one to begin with. So that's why your quirk didn't work on me. After all, how can you erase something if it isn't even there?" Izuku said as he let out another laugh. And as he did, Eraserhead's eyes went wide in shock.

"You're quirkless?" Eraserhead asks with shock evident on his face.

"Yep, extra toe joint and everything. But as we are on the subject, since I don't have a quirk. You can't arrest me for vigilantism. So next time you see me and attack me, just like tonight, it's going to be self-defense. And attacking a person who has committed no crime can get your license revoked, so I recommend you keep that in mind. Now, on that data card is the recording of these thugs making the deal. That should be enough for an arrest, and since you're here, you can do all the paperwork." Izuku said as he used his jetpack to fly to the top of the roof and continue on his patrol. And leaving a shell-shocked hero behind.
