To Kamille,
Hey there, Kamille! Long time no see. I hope you don't mind but I wrote a bunch of messages for you as your birthday is coming up and well…not to get sentimental about it, I wanted to give you something big this year. I might not be able to come down to earth by the time your day rolls round but I'll try to get here for the end of the month. Please don't scowl when you read this.
I'm glad to be receiving your letters more frequently nowadays…sounds like things must be improving for you. Fa tells me in her letters but she doesn't go into much detail since its about you…sorry. I know it's intruding and unfair of me to comment on your wellbeing. I am happy that you're doing better. That's the main point I wanted to get across.
I've been going out a lot lately. Going to random places in the colony and even visiting neigbouring ones. I remember you said you liked looking up at the sky so I took some photos for you earlier this week.
Photography isn't really something I'm entirely strong at but I hope it's something you like to look at. If not, then I will drop photography as a whole.
Dr Hasan extends his greetings to you and Fa (Amuro too, yes). I told him that me and you send letters a lot and he was joyous to hear about it. He wasn't too sure if you wanted to extend the connection with him too but I can let him know once you respond or if Fa lets me know from you. We all still care about you, Kamille.
Let me know how Shinta and Qum are doing too.
How is the new cat doing? I keep looking at the photos you sent me, she is just adorable! She made herself at home very quickly. What names do you have in mind for her? Fa sent me some she was thinking about but she's still pretty indecisiveness on it…please don't ask me for any recommendations though. I seriously will not be able to help with that. I cannot do names.
I was gifted a cactus once back in college and the person who gifted it to me asked me if I had a name for it yet. I didn't know you were supposed to name your plants at the time…I found after that how common it is. Do you have a favourite plant? Or flower? You don't seem like the type but as the saying goes "don't judge a book by its cover."
I can go on, can't I? The words of an old man…I am not that old. But you probably think so. Youngsters these days all they do is judge. But, I shall leave it here for now. The next letter won't take long anyway. I want to try and bring some brightness in your days, Kamille.
