   Summary

   Fate Knox has some problems with the Compact. Namely the status of independent sophonts in the Compact. Labeled a feral just for speaking her mind, Fate fights tooth and nail, using her skills as a speaker in an attempt to get a chance, however small, to make some real change, to make a brighter future. As much as she wants to move forward, though… she can never truly escape her past.

   Genuine attempt to write a truly long-form story. Social activism, revolutionary intent, and political philosophy abound.
