Work Text:

There was something wrong with Levi.

Ever since the first period, the vampire had looked unnaturally pale… well… paler than usual in the eyes of his inquisitively worried puppy-like friend, Eren, who continued to stare at him from across the room with twitching ears and big blue eyes as if he were secretly signaling the vampire to look at him. But Levi only spared his classmate a few glances before immediately looking away and wiping his brow, his right leg bouncing anxiously, and his lips pressing together in a thin line before sighing as he continued his class work. Eren continued to note every odd response displayed by the pale raven, who kept attempting to avoid his werewolf classmate during every passing period they used to spend walking and talking together.

Eren whined to himself, dropping his ears in utter hurt and concern when the grandfather clock tolled a tune to announce the end of their third class, only to watch as Levi used his gifted vampiric speed to be the first one out the door to start his journey alone— leaving Eren both in the dark and confused as to why he was avoiding him.

So Eren walked alone, tail between his legs, and his ears drooped while he attempted to check off a list of reasons as to why Levi was suddenly uninterested in him.

Maybe it was because of his smell?

Eren lifted his arms to smell his covered armpits, remembering how much Levi used to complain about how the werewolf always smelled like such an “unwashed mutt”. It made the poor, self-conscious puppy learn about the beauty of deodorant, and today, he had made sure to put it on, so the problem of smell was taken care of.

Maybe it was because Levi didn’t want to be associated with wolves anymore?

Eren sighed to himself in a hopeless confusion, staring up into the night sky as he walked across the courtyard by himself to his next class. It was a fear that had always existed from the very start of their friendship, how odd a duo a cold vampire and a lonely pup made, how it would’ve been so much easier to become friends with their own kind and continue the divide in creatures that already existed in the otherworldly schools. But Eren often found it more challenging to make friends with his other werewolf peers.

Within the student population, werewolves dominated the majority easily due to their family lifestyles, as litters of up to 10 pups per family would enroll together. To be born with multiple siblings and friends was a luxury that many werewolf hybrid students had— except Eren.

The brunet had been his mother’s miracle baby, and even then, his birth had a lasting effect on his mother’s health. His bedridden mother could no longer hope to produce another pup, leaving Eren to be an only child in a world full of large litters. A literal lone wolf.

The boy’s heart squeezed as he walked, recalling how it was on this very night: Hallows Eve, that Levi had saved him from a few wolves picking on him. When his fifth-period teacher decided to give everyone candy for the special day, a joyous treat that always made Eren’s eyes light up at the sweet sensation. And while most litters would've been able to exchange their candies with their siblings, Eren remembered sitting at his desk and pouting at the candy bars he was given.

The little pup had gone up to the teacher with his small hands cupping the candy he wasn’t a fan of, asking her if he could exchange it with her. There hadn’t been a problem until the teacher allowed Eren to take extra candy for himself, to which the brunet boy exclaimed with happiness at the gift.

After class, Jean and a few of his siblings had cornered the lone wolf pup into a corner during passing period, taunting him and pushing him to give up the extra candy that was in his backpack that Eren was fighting to hold onto. He yipped and howled for help, hoping someone could at least offer him a distraction enough for him to break away, but all the other students continued to walk past the scene without any care.

It was times like this when Eren could genuinely feel the loneliness, and just as his grip was slipping from his bag, a sudden force knocked Jean and his siblings away. Eren’s closed and teary eyes had opened to catch a sight of the pale boy with onyx hair and sharp eyes, dispelling the wolves away before grabbing Eren’s hand to run before Jean and his siblings could react. It was the first time anyone had ever stood up for him, and it was his first time getting a taste of how fast vampires can move.

Because in one second he was clutching his bag in the halls while standing behind the raven, and in the next second he was sitting on his butt inside some cleaning closet.

“Are you okay?” The vampire student asked, cold hands moving to gently brush off any obvious dirt or grime left on the pup, who merely stared up in awe. Eren had remembered feeling so enamored and speechless, squeezing his bag tighter as his tail wagged softly; shy in the presence of someone new and unfamiliar.

Vampires, the second-highest population within the otherworldly school, were known more for their quiet and strange antics rather than the wolves, who were known for their loud and rambunctious antics. A recluse species that often only hung out with other vampires or was completely alone. In terms of similarities, they were polar opposites who only shared a love for the moon, fabled to be mortal enemies within the realm of humanity, but inside that closet, they told a different tale.

“Y-Yeah— I’m… uh… Do you want some candy?” Eren stuttered over himself, still winded from the quick turn of events before offering up the one thing that the vampire helped to save. A few of the delectable pieces of pure wrapped up sugar that had always brought the werewolf pup joy were now cupped in his hands and being offered as a gift of gratitude. A gift for the vampire who stepped in to help the wolf when no one else would.

Two lonely souls who became friends that very special night, swapping candy and skipping class to get to know each other. An unlikely pair who bonded over their own fates of isolation and loneliness, like an eternal vow never to leave the other, was beginning to be stitched into existence.

It was the most fun Eren had ever had, and little did he know that he was the first person that the vampire trusted enough to expose his favorite hiding spot— inside that small cleaning closet.

Eren remembers how he had tried once before, during their recess, to keep up with Levi’s gifted vampiric speed to see if he could test the limits of his own speed and developing senses. But after multiple attempts, the wolf was always getting left in the dust within a mere second; the only thing Eren seemed to develop was the ability to trace Levi’s scent in the direction that he fled while using his vampiric speed, before the raven would shortly reappear and smile at his classmate for trying.

Back during those days, Levi had made a promise never to use his vampiric speed to run away unless it was an emergency

The werewolf pup huffed out another heavy sigh, his anxiety growing more as he recalled Levi’s promise, only to remember that last part about emergencies. His worry morphed into a darker cloud that followed over him, overcast and slowly beginning to precipitate with drowning thoughts of the worst-case scenarios as the most dreadful question thundered within his head:

What if Levi had decided that he was done being friends with Eren?

And right before he could tumble any further down the horrid spiral of dark and consuming thoughts regarding their relationship, a calling voice pierced through the sporadic crowd of students.

“Eren! Wait up!” The blonde pup shouted, a ravenette pup following close in tow as they rushed casually to catch up to the brunet. It had been Eren’s first pack friends, Armin and Mikasa, two wolves who came from their own litters but still struggled with making friends before they found each other after sharing coloring supplies during one of their classes.

“Oh— Hey guys,” Eren spoke lowly, his heart squeezing and stinging as if a thousand micro blades had pierced his soft organ with every thought of Levi crossing his mind. Even in front of his other friends, he wasn’t able to hide his hurt, hide how confused and increasingly upset he was becoming because of it all. Eren could feel the barbed wire tighten painfully around his throat, like a vice, when Armin asked him with a tilted head and perked up blonde ears.

“What’s wrong? Do you want some candy?” The ravenette werewolf pondered quietly by Eren’s side, immediately reaching for her backpack to share its sweet contents with the pouting brunet, who merely shrugged it off,

“No thanks, Mikasa, I’m just worried… about Levi…” Eren sighed, looking away and blinking his eyes quickly to avoid the little tears that threatened to pool, followed by the painful barbed wire clawing and burning open wounds inside his throat. He didn’t know why he felt so emotional all of a sudden; the uncertainty of the unknown continued to create a storm above his head that no one else could see.

“Ew, why? He’s probably taking a blood break or something gross.” Mikasa scoffed, light venom and pointed words clear in her painted disdain for the vampire who had always made the brunet werewolf smile. Armin walked alongside them on the other side of Eren, watching as her words soiled his mood even further before flashing his light blue eyes to the ravenette in a silent plea to stop talking.

“I don’t know… we usually always walk together. I-I think he hates me.” Eren spoke, his voice growing higher as the barbed wire began to close in around his neck, before he choked out the last part with a whine. Those tears that had been fought to remain held back were now falling free, followed by a hot silence and a tiny sniffle from the crying puppy, who had stopped walking.

“Oh, Eren…” Armin cooed, instantly hugging his friend tightly before Mikasa followed to mimic his reassuring behavior. The two wrapped their sobbing friend in a covering and a safe hug, squeezing him tightly and whispering soft reassurances that helped calm the trembling wolf pup down.

“I-I’m sorry, guys. I just— I don’t know what to do! Levi’s been avoiding me since school started.” Eren whimpered, whipping his eyes frantically and keeping his uneven voice down as his friends moved him out of the direct path of other curious students passing through the halls. Armin and Mikasa worked to effortlessly soothe their friend by nuzzling and simply listening to his words of worry,

“M-Maybe he doesn’t want to be friends with m-me anymore… but— but I don’t know why!” Eren hiccupped, ears drooped, and his chest heaved as a few more loose sobs buckled his voice, stuttering while wiping away tears and sniffling back more of a mess. Just hearing those words out loud made the pain worse, yet easier to manage with his friends actively by his side as a silent reminder that even if his thoughts were true, at least he’d still have Armin and Mikasa.

“I’m so sorry, Eren.” Mikasa apologized, feeling guilty for talking poorly about someone whom her friend cared so deeply about.

“Maybe he’s just having a bad day, y’know… maybe he’s—“ Armin hummed, looking at Mikasa for support before finishing his sentence with hesitation.

“…going through changes.”

Eren’s small quaking sobs began to quiet down until he was reduced to only sniffling, taking a moment to listen to his friend and consider that possible reality. Levi, a vampire, someone who didn’t care for others' opinions, and having a friendship with a werewolf, who now decided one day… on their special day, to have a change of heart suddenly. What type of sudden change had to have happened between today and yesterday? There were no problems the day before.

Well…

Eren did remember how Levi smelled different. How the pale boy looked even paler and how avoidant he was of playing any game that involved being physical with the mutt. Eren remembers how Levi shivered unnaturally and how unwell he looked in the pup's eyes, wanting to ask even further despite being shot down by the vampire just a day ago.

Oh.

“Armin! You might be right I— I have to go find him!” Eren snapped, barking out in an urgency while cleaning his puffy and tear-stained face before lifting his head to smell the air with his ears up and scouting. His friends jumped back, their friend feeling better and driven to find the answer that would place all the pieces together and reveal the actual reason behind Levi’s recent string of distance. Whatever the “change” was, Eren knew he could handle it, because a couple of moons ago, they promised never to leave each other's side.

“What about lunch?” Mikasa asked, worried for her friend's health, if he decided to skip out on his favorite class period, lunch, just to search for his avoidant vampire friend. But Eren merely smiled widely, stepping back and waving goodbye to his two friends while replying, finally,

“Don’t worry! Just save me some scraps for later!”

The werewolf hurried, turning his back to his friends to break out into a light jog throughout the campus. He had picked up on Levi’s faint scent, leading him down halls that he was familiar with as the noise from the students passing began to die down the further down the corridors Eren moved. Until he found himself face to face with the closed wooden door of that same closet where he had met Levi.

A quick hand latched onto the doorknob without a second thought, jiggling it only to realize that it was locked. Yet the sound of Eren’s attempt made a gasp sound out from inside the closet, confirming that Levi was indeed inside the locked room to skip lunch alone.

“Levi? Are you in there?” Eren asked after knocking softly, already knowing the answer but needing that extra confirmation before he attempted anything else. He needed to know if Levi was going to remain silent and shut him out further or if he would respond. The wolf waited, his heart racing and his fluffy ears twitching as a slight shifting could be heard, followed by a groan,

“Eren, leave me alone! You can’t be around me— not like—“ Levi spoke, his voice weak and his mouth sounding…full? Eren’s tail wagged in a spark of hope to the sound of his friend's voice after what felt like an eternity of being apart. The werewolf sniffed the door, clawing at the wood and speaking with more push and enthusiasm,

“Let me help you! I don’t care— whatever it is, I just wanna make sure you’re okay! Please, Levi…” Eren jiggled the knob again, impatient and anxious to understand what it was exactly that was affecting Levi so severely that he couldn’t even stand being around his own friend. The brunet refused to be shut out by the first vampire that didn’t see him as a lowly inconvenience like most other vampires did.

“Eren, no. I can’t— I’ll hurt you…” Levi vaguely warned, his words making Eren’s tail slow and his ears slightly lower as a whine unconsciously slipped free from the poor puppy pawing at the door.

“I won’t judge, and I know you wouldn’t intentionally hurt me… Please open the door, Levi, please!” Eren started, biting his bottom lip and pressing his forehead against the wood, closing his eyes and furrowing his brows as he racked his mind to narrow down what kind of problem Levi was facing.

He was a vampire… and he’s scared of hurting Eren. Is it because…

“Do you Do you need blood?” Eren whispered against the wood as silence followed for a moment as the thundering of his heart echoed through the mutt’s ears. The lock clicked suddenly, making the wolf jump back before a smile grew on his face at the success of quickly opening the closet door, only to immediately lose his happiness at the poor sight of his friend.

Levi was curled up against the wall, hiding his face and shivering violently as he breathlessly begged for Eren to lock the door behind him. The brunet rushed inside, locking the door shut and immediately lunging to embrace Levi in a hug,

“Levi!” He cried out, excited and worried in an explosion of emotion as he attempted to hold his beloved vampire friend close before the pale student hissed and quickly moved away from Eren’s aim.

“Eren, stop! You don’t understand— I… I can’t be around anyone like this…” Levi’s shout of warning instantly lowered into a struggling grumble, masking himself away from the curious werewolf who lowered his ears and moved cautiously forward with a slowness so as not to startle the suffering vampire again.

“But— I wanna help! You need blood, don’t you? Where’s your lunch box?” Eren stared at Levi with huge, wanting eyes that could’ve practically sparkled under the shitty closet lighting before his attention shifted to searching around the small space in hopes of locating Levi’s lunch box. His mother, Kutchel, was always so kind enough to pack the young vampire with two small blood bags as her son began to grow older and experience changes in his diet and his cravings to help them from worsening when withdrawals started.

“There’s nothing…” Levi mewled, a sadness in his voice at the reality that was crashed into Eren when the wolf found the vampire’s completely empty lunch box. The brunet gawked, searching every inch of the small lunch box that obviously had no blood bags stored inside before gasping out,

“What!? Where are they?!” Eren exclaimed, shaking the box dramatically with flickering ears in a motion as if the bags would suddenly magically appear. His eyes wide and frantic, he tossed the box and sniffed around the room, while the vampire hissed out a sour answer.

“Kenny’s been taking care of me, and he doesn’t leave me any bags… thinks I should learn to deal with it.” Levi groaned, pressing the palms of his hands against his eyes and shaking his head, his withdrawals becoming too unbearable and his pain expanding to control his own ability to even attend school. Eren glanced over, lowering his ears to the poor sight of his friend, trembling and looking like he was fighting back the urge to cry or scream. Levi covered his face, yet couldn’t stop swallowing. His mouth was unable to stop watering, and his fangs protruded out like a viper, desperate to strike and feed. He panted like he was plagued with a fever, yet shivered like he was as cold as a corpse.

“Momma, been away ever since Uncle Kenny came back. Eren— it hurts so bad…” Levi shook his head faster, before he moved his hands to cover his ears with his eyes squeezed shut. His head spinning, mouth dry yet so wet with saliva, protruding fangs that felt like two major toothaches, and now the sound of Eren’s rushing pulse was filling his ears with the reminder that his salvation was right in front of him. The pup who moved closer would be the perfect snack, were the thoughts that spun around his head before the vampire smacked his head against the wall in some violent attempt to make everything stop.

“Le, let me help you, please—“ Eren shuffled to kneel, crawling closer to his withdrawn friend who merely whined, having not enough strength again to run away from the persistent werewolf. The brunet crooned his voice low and calm, nudging himself closer and closer, smelling and nuzzling the raven as a small gift of comfort. Eren could hear Levi’s shallow breathing quicken when the wolf got closer, his red eyes shooting open to the first touch of his friend nuzzling him. There was only a split second of peace before the werewolf was tackled to the group with a loud thud.

“Ow! What—“ Eren cried out to the pain registering immediately in the back of his head before he silenced himself when he caught his blood thirsty friend hovering over him with small tears in his eyes of horror.

“I’m so sorry, Eren— I can’t—“ Levi began to stumble his apology, fangs flashing as he spoke to the wolf who merely laid on his back, truly mesmerized by the struggling vampire. The pain receded as soon as it came; Eren’s thoughts were solely focused on how close he felt to Levi in that very moment. His cheeks flushing slightly and his blue eyes twinkling— and to think… that all this time he thought Levi had no longer wanted anything to do with him, when in reality, it was Levi who didn’t want to hurt Eren. Choosing instead to naturally hide himself away as all vampires do when under stress or in pain, Levi couldn’t bear the idea of hurting his beloved friend; even a simple tackle had the raven fearful for his friend’s well-being.

Eren tilted his head and sucked a deep breath in; the gesture alone made Levi’s crimson eyes widen as the color within his irises became more vibrant instantaneously.

“Le… Drink from me, please. I wanna help. You won’t hurt me.” Eren reassured, a little smile painting his flushed face as Levi responded with his own cheeks flushing to the invitation. The raven suddenly looked unsure, for a different reason, looking away and pressing his lips together before a small voice escaped him.

“Eren, you’re… you’re my first. I’ve only ever drank from bags so—“ Levi flushed darker, hearing his own admittance, the words making Eren’s smile beam brighter, his tail wagging, and his warm hands reaching up to cup the raven’s cold and clammy face.

“I know you won’t hurt me, take as much as you need. I wanna be your first.”

Levi moved closer, a small dribble of drool falling past his lips as his hunger grew furious, awaiting for the vampire to give in fully to the invite and growing more and more upset the longer he decided to wait.

“Momma says… once I feed from someone… I’ll never be able to stop…” Levi whispered, his concern coming right back into the picture after the brunet had reassured his worried heart multiple times. But these concerns were all valid to the pup who merely shook his head and offered another promise— one that would surely deepen their relationship eternally after tonight.

“Then… When you’re hungry, just feed from me. I’ll be okay, I promise! I just…” Eren trailed off, his own cheeks burning up and his eyes darting to the side to look away shamefully before finishing his sentence.

“… I just thought you didn’t want to be friends with me anymore… I thought— maybe you had found other better friends and I was so scared that you’d never want to be around me anymore, Le…” The pup mumbled softly, with a light whine towards the end, earning sympathetic and gentle eyes from the vampire, who leaned closer with a hushed voice. Their faces now inches from each other,

“Never Eren, I love being your friend,” Levi confirmed.

“I love you, Le,” Eren admitted, closing his eyes and holding his breath the moment the words left his mouth. His heart pounding inside his rib cage and his tail wagging furiously, still keeping his neck on display while the vampire remained silent. Only the slight hitch of his breath and subtle change in scent could be detected by Eren, but he kept his eyes closed regardless.

Even as Levi leaned down, shifting himself to straddle the werewolf, his breath ghosted against the boy’s exposed jugular on full display. The sound of Eren’s racing heart only helped to make Levi dizzy with his own adrenaline, breathlessly panting out one last offer for the brunet. One last chance for Eren to slip out of the promise that he made with no regrets.

“You’re sure? About this, I mean?” Levi cooed, his nose running up against Eren’s tanned skin, a ricochet of a full-body shiver crawled through the wolf’s nerves as his heart raced impossibly faster to the closeness and the commitment to something he had never experienced before. But the brunet nodded quickly with a small noise of acceptance, not wasting a second for his thoughts to consume him and any option of regret to slip into his developing mind.

Eren could feel Levi panting against him, opening his mouth with fangs gently grazing the wolf’s flesh with a teasing warning that drew a whimper from the boy under his friend. Levi spoke once last time, feeling Eren tremble slightly under him from the slow tension and clouding uncertainty from the mix of his sheepish confession to his body being offered up to be drained.

“I love you too, Eren… this might hurt a little…” Levi gently kissed Eren’s neck after, freeing another shaky mewl from the werewolf whose eyes shot open with a ripping cry escaping his lungs as the vampire sank his teeth into his friend. It was sharp, it was deep, and Eren cried out with hands instantly flying onto Levi in a small bout of strength to push the raven away. But the vampire merely groaned, unmoving, and latched firmly onto the brunet like a leech as Eren squirmed under Levi— still trying to shy away from pain that left him howling out noises.

It was when Levi began to feed that Eren could feel the shift; his grip on Levi loosened, and his widened eyes began to droop before rolling back as a loose and long moan bellowed out within the closet. All the pain had vanished from the first draw, the sharpness melting into a warmth that felt so good to the boy who couldn’t stop himself from whimpering and gasping out as he was being sucked dry. The way Levi’s lips wrapped around his neck, how his fangs struck something profound and sensitive, left Eren breathless. His lips moved to sound out Levi’s broken name, hands that pawed at the vampire who continued to drink carefully, before the sensation of something soft pressing against Eren’s crotch began to make the brunet tingle.

The werewolf didn’t fight against anything, his hands moving to become tangled in Levi’s onyx locks while his own hips unconsciously responded to rut up into the soft heat that made his body vibrate with an emotion he had never felt before. It was spreading, fast and violent, his own noises morphing from a whimper to a growl as he continued to grind his crotch up against Levi, who responded with the same energy. A muffled moan softly erupted from the vampire whose lips broke free with a gasp,

“Mm Eren— what’s that?” Levi panted, his lips covered in the werewolf’s delicious crimson life source and his fangs dripping with the ruby blood that bled freely from the two puncture marks on Eren’s neck. The raven arched his back, pressing himself back down onto the brunet, gasping out when he felt something firm poke at his crotch.

Eren blushed with a yelp when Levi grounded his hips again to get a second feel with a small moan approving of the sensation that he rubbed himself against. They had been taught before that they were both growing creatures and that eventually their bodies would become awakened to their primal and eternal ways of life. How vampires desire to drink their meals dry to feel satisfaction, and how werewolves desire to mate to understand their bonds with those whom they love. Both boys were becoming helpless to their true forms, rubbing and pushing up against the other while their quiet, breathy noises filled the space.

“Le— does it feel good for you too?” Eren moaned, fluttering eyes watching the vampire grind himself against Eren’s covered bulge without a care in the world, his red eyes dark with a pure surge of blood-induced lust.

“Mmhmm… don’t stop…” Levi sighed, whimpering as the wolf’s bulge grew bigger and pressed hot against his covered core, making his head spin and his thighs shake. Eren could smell how the air shifted, stagnant and pungent of blood and pheromones, vital ruby streams poured free from Eren’s punctures that grabbed Levi’s attention.

The vampire leaned back down to plunge his fangs back into the werewolf, his inexperience creating another set of holes in the brunet’s neck as the raven feasted while rolling his hips on top of his classmate. Eren’s hands moved instinctively to Levi’s waist, grabbing at his hips and gripping him to keep the vampire planted firmly on top of his hardened arousal that leaked in happiness.

“Levi, I wanna— I want to…” Eren babbled, not sure what he was even saying as all of his blood was either being sucked away or rushing down south— leaving nothing left for his brain that was drowned in heavy fog. His instincts seemed to be the only thing that helped the wolf; his awakening inner alpha growled softly for the boy to take control and rut more roughly against the vampire, whose tongue continued to work against Eren’s wounds. It was a new voice, one he had never heard before, commanding and guiding him to chase after the pleasure they were both experiencing.

“I know— I want it too…” Levi breathed, disconnecting once more after his second snack as his hips moved faster with a rhythm that left Eren dizzy with euphoria.

The brunet didn’t even know where he somehow conjured the strength to roll their positions— finding himself suddenly on top with wide, darkened eyes and a heaving chest, hips unconsciously continuing to rut and press hard against Levi’s softness that left the vampire mewling out in a new pitch.

“I’m sorry! I can’t— I can’t control myself…” Eren whimpered while his hips bucked harder, grinding his bulge and humping Levi like a puppy blindly experiencing his first ever rut. He moaned shamelessly, tail wagging and ears low, when the vampire opened his legs wider and began to roll his own hips in sync with his friend.

“I know— it’s okay… It feels— so good…” Levi cooed, mewling and reaching up to hold Eren close, his fangs shrinking and his body finally recovering from all of those horrid blood withdrawal symptoms to allow the vampire to truly cherish this private, intimate moment with the first person who allowed him to feed freely. The raven moaned softly, a shyness in comparison to how the wolf began to hump wildly, panting and grunting as his hips sped up and his fingers clawed into the vampire harshly.

“Eren… I feel like… Stop! I’m—“ Levi mumbled before his voice pitched when his tiny button of nerves kept being targeted against the harsh fabrics, leaving the vampire twitching and crying out for the werewolf to stop. The raven blushed and tried to push the rutting beast away, fearful he was about to have an accident and ruin their moment. But Eren had lost himself entirely to the fog, thrusting himself to rub his sticky fabric faster and harder. Blue eyes dulled and dark as the wolf panted and growled for more.

The brunet leaned down, pressing their stomachs together and grunting wildly in Levi’s ear as their bodies bounced and their sounds mixed into a chorus of bliss and desire, yearning and love mingling to saturate the air with their intense passion as both of them vibrated with a mounting pressure for release. The fabrics of their groins became increasingly sloppy and heated, friction adding to the fire that began to burn ablaze within their cores; their hands and bodies responded by clinging and moving in coordination with each other.

They were just two students from different worlds who coexisted and learned to appreciate each other during their time as friends. Always being partners on projects, playing together during recess, and sharing their time together by trying to understand each other. Though others may have judged them for their unusual bond, no one could understand how their souls became tenderly bonded through their interaction and time alone. But now, inside the closet, where their classmates couldn't see or judge them, Levi had eaten from the same wolf that was now on top of him– humping and whining with a fever that reflected how badly Eren’s awakening inner alpha wanted to mate with his friend. Both sharing their first transformations together, two boys who were exploring and experiencing their urges and needs as they developed on the spot.

A vampire who could no longer be sated by just blood bags and a werewolf who could no longer idly stand by as his mate left him alone.

“Mate…Love– you– Levi…” Eren grunted brokenly with every push, groaning and growling as the coil inside of him began to tighten with an urge that shared Levi’s previous concern– the sensation of feeling like he was about to have an accident. But he didn’t care; it felt too good to stop, and his inner alpha roared for him to seal that bond. Just as Eren bore four tiny bloody puncture marks on his throat, he wanted to claim the vampire as his one and only.

“Eren! I love you–... love– you—...” Levi rambled, their faces just a breath apart as their mouths remained open to pant and sing for the other as their bodies began to tremble before the pressure suddenly exploded. The raven was the first to cry out, throwing his head back and closing his eyes while kicking his legs, which punched against Eren’s sides. His small white fangs were prominent and cute through the wolf’s blurring vision as his own release came moments after Levi’s. Their crotches were sensitive, spurting fluids that stained the material pressed together, sticky and smelt of the sweetest pheromones when Eren smelt Levi. The vampire could only gasp and shudder; small yelps escaped every time the werewolf moved just a little in their compromising position. The raven’s nerves were charged; everything felt electric and alive, his immortal life feeling the closest it had ever been to experiencing the divine release of death, so peaceful. He could only lie there, breathing heavily and allowing the wolf to nuzzle and lick tenderly at his neck,

“I’m sorry, Le… I– Uh–...I bit you.” Eren pouted, his worried words floating around the room without any response as the vampire was too gone to even care about the fresh bite mark on his own pale neck. Somewhere between the time right before their orgasms, the brunet must’ve blacked out on instinct, landing a brutal bite onto the raven's fair skin. Eren continued to lick at the wound, trying to ignore how sticky his crotch felt, more worried about his unresponsive friend, who finally sighed softly.

“That was… the greatest thing I’d ever felt, Eren.” Levi breathed, still recovering but turning his head to face the worried wolf’s face, reaching up to cup the boy’s face before leaning in to rub their noses together. The brunet’s fallen ears had perked up instantly, his tail wagging with a rejuvenated vigor before Eren flashed a full smile of all canines to the raven.

“Really?!” Eren exclaimed, his eyes lighting up even brighter, but a hand was slapped over his mouth, and he was shushed immediately by the vampire, who feared the loud echo of his voice would put them at risk of getting caught.

“Sorry…” Eren giggled, muffled behind Levi’s palm, before the raven dropped his hand with a small smile on his own lips. Both of their cheeks flushed, a shared light sheen of sweat from the intensity of their earlier needs, as they shared a small bubble of laughter at the way their eyes immediately moved to each other’s crotches to spot the wet patch, signifying the reality of what they had just done behind their teachers' backs.

“Yeah, really.” Levi smiled sheepishly, sitting up to get another look at Eren’s four puncture bites that marred his skin to a degree that had the raven furrowing his brows with a newfound concern.

“I’m sorry, Eren, I hope I didn’t hurt you too badly.” The vampire mumbled, sincere and worried, but only for a second, as the werewolf was quick to reassure his friend that no such thing had happened.

“No way! Well, I mean— It did hurt for a second and then… it felt really good and I can’t remember the rest.” Eren’s voice was raised in exclamation to the first part of his words of denial before his blush grew hotter and his voice lowered with eyes that looked away as he admitted to how good Levi drinking from him felt. How it triggered some type of induced rut, how another voice inside his head took over as he lost control and fucked himself against the vampire until he felt like he had peed himself.

Levi also blushed, their positions changing to be kneeling on the ground in front of the other, before the raven hugged Eren suddenly. Hiding his face against Eren’s neck and using his lips to kiss and kitten lick the puncture wounds gently. The werewolf’s breath hitched to the warm sensation of the innocent closeness, responding to wrap his arms around Levi and nuzzle himself against those onyx locks to scent mark the vampire as his one and only…

“…Mate.” Eren purred, a sacred and special word only meant for the one who had stolen its keeper's heart. The wolf purred and nuzzled, keeping the vampire warm in his firm embrace as they shared a moment of silence inside the closet. Levi didn’t know what to say, keeping himself hidden and listening to the wolf’s heart race in a melody that soothed the raven and grounded him from his high.

“We should probably try to make it to the next class before someone finds us here,” Levi spoke, moving to slip out of Eren’s arms before standing up to locate his backpack. The dazed wolf blinked, his purring stopped, and his attention was fixated back on his friend,

“Right! We still gotta—“ Eren was quick to stand up with his words before his vision suddenly disappeared and his coordination slipped, causing him to fall into a shelf with a noise of panic. It was the blood loss that had finally caught up to him, startling the vampire as the werewolf’s body buckled immediately before crashing against the wall with a sharp cry.

“Eren!” Levi gasped, grabbing his backpack and rushing over to the whimpering, wide-eyed wolf who sat slouched with tears brimming in his blue eyes. His hands were up to the sound of Levi’s voice, searching for something to grab as Eren oaniked and cried,

“Le-Levi! I can’t see– I can’t see!” Eren babbled in utter terror before the raven grabbed his extending hands, shushing him with soft and calming words despite the situation. Levi had been taught about this side effect in school and how to handle it with ease,

“I’m right here, Eren, relax, breathe. Your vision will return… here– just eat some candy.” Levi kissed the brunet’s cheek, wiping his tears before he reached inside his backpack to grab some wrapped pieces of the sugary sweet treats that they used to share together every year on Hallow’s Eve

“O-Okay… Thank you, Le,” Eren sniffled, his fluffy ears drooped, and his tail was between his legs, but still obedient and trusting to his friend, who unwrapped a piece of candy before instructing Eren to open his mouth. The werewolf was crying quietly as the sweetness hit his taste buds, providing an immediate cure to his dilemma. The sugar seemed to help snap him back to his senses, and within the next minute of Levi hand-feeding his pup little pieces of chocolate, Eren’s vision had returned to the view of his favorite vampire taking oh-so-good care of him.

And although the circumstances were more dire in the moment, they still were able to share and exchange their pieces of earned candy inside of that small closet before the passing of their next class, with the wolf’s bite bruised and marring the vampire skin and the vampires four puncture marks beginning to scab over on the wolf’s skin– temporary and small joys that would forever last within their hearts so long as they remained together.
