And some imagination, so not everything is necessary correct?
Ever since the great Monkey King burst from his magical little rock, he's done many great and stupid things. He became the king of the monkeys on flower fruit mountain, joined the brotherhood, the pilgrims, went on a journey to the west! Now... He didn't really do much of anything? Mk, his friends, hell, even Macaque saved the world from the Lady Bone Demon, and now there wasn't much of anything to do for the Monkey king. Wukong used to do so many "cool" things! He caused the havoc in heaven— and you get the point.
Monkey king, currently watching the little TV box in his cabin, watching the same show about himself like he did all the time. He was old, but the longer and longer he did nothing and did the same thing over and over, the older he felt. The monkeys around him played with each other, watched with Monkey king or toyed with him, wondering if he was going to move from his spot or not... and eventually he did. He got up from the couch he had been laying in for the past 10 hours, and sighed. "Maybe Mk's up to something?" But he was probably out with Mei or working with Pigsy in the noodle shop... "Maybe Macaque- no." Had he always been this lonely??? I mean yeah, but whatever. He looked around, trying to stimulate himself in anyway possible. Maybe get a bike, steal a bike, make a bike! Steal a bike... steal... that's what he did when he was younger! He stole!
Wukong sprung out the cabin, frightening some of the monkeys and confusing others, taking his cape and throwing it on. "I'll be back later! Don't eat all my peaches! I really want those..." speaking to his monkeys as if they weren't too focused on the cop version of Wukong on the TV. He just laughed it off and flew away. What could he steal, hmm. He couldn't steal from the city, he's the Monkey king. He doesn't want to steal from Mk, and Macaque hardly has anything personal that he doesn't hide in the shadows or in a tree. It's been a while since he's been to heaven, maybe he could steal a peach, even if it isn't ripe yet. It'll be like good ol' times. He decided to slowly fly to heaven, thinking over what he should do to get in. He could pretend to be one of the 5 star poles? He hasn't done that to get into heaven yet, that could be a first.
When he got to the gates of heaven, he was off to the side, out of sight. Man, he thought he was more mature now after his journey... but he missed doing this so much.
A cheeky smile plastered on his face while he used his 72 transformations to change into the 5 star pole Bei Ji. He remembered when Bei Ji would come down to flower fruit mountain, but that was while ago. Worth a shot either way, and he got back on his golden cloud and floated to the gates.
When the guards saw "Bei Ji" they bowed down and opened the gates, assuming he was back from whatever he needed to attend. Wukong wanted to laugh, finally feeling something other than boredom and longing for... something. He went in, seeing how heaven had basically stayed the same, not really a surprise though; so old fashioned they were, not even one TV to watch monkey cop. Thankfully Laozi, Silver horn, Golden horn, and King Li weren't currently around to talk to him, and hopefully he wouldn't bump into the real Bei Ji. He looked around heaven, getting past memories both good and bad. Eventually, he remembered where the peach garden was, and went there. He turned himself into a bee, flying into the garden, and looking around. "Looks like it's hardly changed! It'd be nice if the peaches were ripe though." Wukong talking to himself and finally transforming back into Monkey king. He didn't actually take anything, just walking around and thinking silently.
He walked through the garden at a slow pace, thinking about all the havoc and chaos he caused in heaven. He didn't necessarily feel bad bout it, but he definitely didn't think it was the smartest. The peaches garden wasn't entertaining him, unfortunately, so he left and decided to go somewhere else. He needed to be careful, since if he did something extremely stupid he'd probably get sent under a mountain again and would have to eat metal and drink molten metal... anyway, he thought that would probably be too much anyway! Did it once, it's like lightning striking the same spot twice, hahaha. . . ha. While leaving the peach garden, he turned back into Bei Ji, floating to some place in heaven he didn't even care to acknowledge. He basically knew this place like the back of his hand, he's got this. Well, turns out he didn't, and he was in a place full of artifacts and powerful objects, originally thinking it was one of the palace places or something.
"Pfft, who leaves a place like this unattended. Anyone could just come in and swoop-" Wukong making a grabbing motion, but accidentally and stupidly hitting a shelf, making it wobble. He quickly moved to steady it, and was able to stop most of the stuff from falling, but something from the top fell and shattered behind him. A cold chill ran down his spine and he froze. His stomach dropped, his throat went tight, and he became stiff. "M-Maybe it's just a jade cup..?" instead, when he turned to see what he had broken, it was the Yin Yang mirror, which had the ability to revive the dead. Why was that thing there and not somewhere else!? When he was finally able to move without feeling heavy, he got down on his knees and looked at it. The mirror had shattered from impact, leaving glass that had a swooshing white and black glow around it. He tried to pick up one of the pieces, but it burnt him. Pulling his hand away quickly, he was shaking it like you would if you touched a hot stove. He needed to tell someone that this thing was broken- but if he did, he'd get in serious trouble for 1. Breaking in. 2. Snooping around in areas that hold important artifacts and stuff with no guards, which he could totally blame the guards for... And 3. Breaking the Yin Yang mirror. What would they say, do? He had already gone down the path of enlightenment, he was supposed to know better than to break in, aughh, he should've just stayed at home, and rewatched monkey cop for the 600th time.
That's when Wukong heard it, the sound the sound of heavy footsteps and the door opening. He had been too deep in thought to even react, so when be saw... King Li.
There was a silence, until King Li finally spoke, tone cold and full of anger, "Monkey." He never did like Wukong.
Wukong laughed nervously, getting up and moving in front of the broken mirror. "Heyyy Liiii, how's it been, long time no see... pal—?" Wukong trying to act and cover up what he did. "All this time, and you still cause havoc." King Li spoke, watching as Wukong nervously kicked one of his feed. So old and "wise" yet still so stupid and childish when he comes to heaven. "You're under arrest. Again." King Li rubbing his left temple, letting the guards get Wukong. "Pfft, yeah, as if arresting me does anything." Wukong letting them, knowing he'd be fine.
At least he hoped.
Wukong walked with the guards, wondering what they'd do to him. 1 day in heaven was 1 year on earth, he couldn't leave his monkeys, Mk, his friends, or even Macaque. He just became chill with him again! Wukong walked with the guards, soon being presented in front of the Jade Emperor. He had been told to bow, which of course Wukong didn't. He just didn't want to; too tired for all this. "What did he do this time..?" The Jade Emperor sighed, growing older mentally if not physically too. The monkey still acting up despite everything he's been through and done. He really was a fool.
"We believe he broke the Yin Yang mirror"
One of the guards speaking up, his head bowed down. The Jade Emperors palace grew silent, and Wukong couldn't remember exactly what happened when the Yin Yang mirror was broken, so he didn't really think it was that big of a deal. "What?" Wukong looking at whoever was around him, and they all avoided eye contact.
"Sun Wukong, for breaking the Yin Yang mirror, you've put bad luck upon yourself... while also fragmenting your soul, making you vulnerable. To prevent your undoing, I'll be stripping you of your immortality. Not as punishment, sorta, but more as a trade." The Jade Emperor looking down at Wukong, watching his face go pale.
"WHAT!?" Wukong yelling out loud enough to make some of the guards flinch from pain. How could he strip him away of his immortality?! "This... You're joking, right? You aren't actually able to do that??" No one responded or laughed at what he said... just silence. "Unfortunately, Sun Wukong, I can. I did it for Chang'e, and I will have to do it for you as well."
Wukong stayed silent, lowering his head, and closing his eyes.
