Chapter 1: In Which There Are Characters.
Summary:
This chapter will contain a list of comic book characters that I have read and / or prefer to read fanfictions about (and that I will most likely be writing about), but I don't feel 100% comfortable about writing about all of them (besides my *main* ones) yet. Some of them may end up being removed and / or re-added.
A NOTE FOR THE STRICTLY PLATONIC CHARACTERS: I'm personally writing from and / or in a female perspective / point of view, but I guess that anyone could be friends with the strictly platonic characters.
There are two options. 1: Being the girlfriend of one of the "main" characters / the close female friend of the platonic characters. 2: Being platonic friends with the characters [but not being the girlfriend character with the relationship preferences].
A basic summary: I'm writing in a female P.O.V., but if you're a male that's reading the platonic parts, just imagine that the platonic friend isn't the girlfriend character.

Chapter 2: In Which There Are Nicknames.
Summary:
In which the author came up with the nicknames previously and also on the spot. Also, I had sooo many nicknames, and narrowing them down to just one nickname per character is just ... UGH! I may eventually post all of them. (I kind of wanted to post all of them [and I had kind of also had planned to do so ... just a little bit], but whatever. Ugh. I mean ... that would be kind of different, right? Right?!)

MARVEL COMICS:
Pietro Django Maximoff (Quicksilver)!
His nickname for her: Prinţesa (Princess).
Her nickname for him: Sonic. (Yes, we're going there!)
Pietro: "Heya, Prinţesa. Do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I speed by you again?"
Her: "Hahaha! Oh, Sonic. You're such a dork!"
*Cue him giving her a sweet kiss-hug that actually somehow takes both of them by surprise.*
James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes (The Winter Soldier)!
His nickname for her: Doll.
Her nickname for him: Dreamboat. (Maybe not always to his face, though! Hehehe).
Bucky: "You're so gorgeous, Doll."
Her: "Talk for yourself, you big Dreamboat!"
*Giggles all around and plenty of cuddles.*
Steven "Steve" Grant Rogers (Captain America)!
His nickname for her: Sweetheart.
Her nickname for him: Captain.
Steve: "You look sleepy, Sweetheart. Are you sleepy? Maybe it's time for *some of us* to go to bed."
Her: "No, Captain ... I'm not sleepy!" *Pouts as he giggles / chuckles at her cute little pouting face.*
Wade Winston Wilson (Deadpool)!
His nickname for her: Poptart.
Her nickname for him: Paper Cut. (Sarcastically.)
Wade: "What are you doing tonight, Poptart?"
Her: "Almost anything other than you, Paper Cut."
*Cue mean Stacey Hinkhouse and mean Regina George saying "Just walk away!" together.)*
Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto)!
His nickname for her: Darling.
Her nickname for him: Tinfoil. (Sarcastically, of course.)
Erik: "Darling, you are going to hurt yourself."
Her: "Whatever, Tinfoil. Just watch me!"
*Metal stuff starts to fall down - off of tall shelves - towards her, and he has to maneuver it safely away, as he gives her an "I told you so" kind of look for her stubbornness. And then they both burst out laughing.*
Strictly Platonic:
Wanda Elizabeth Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch)!
Her nickname for her friend: Little Bug. (Teasingly.)
Her friend's nickname for her: Flames. (Teasingly.)
Wanda: "You are such a little bug!"
Her Friend: "Whatever, Flames. You're the Hex-Bug."
*A pillow fight ensues.*
DETECTIVE COMICS:
Edward Nygma (The Riddler)!
His nickname for her: Princess.
Her nickname for him: Puzzles. (Teasingly. "HIMYM", anyone?)
Edward: "Good morning, Princess."
Her: "Hiya, Puzzles. Good morning."
*Cue him kissing [all over] her sleepy face ... and then maybe some light tickling! Oh no! Hehehe.*
Jerome Valeska!
His nickname for her: Dollface.
Her nickname for him: Daddy.
Jerome: "Are you feeling okay today, Dollface?"
Her: "Yes, of course, Daddy!"
Jack Napier (The Classic / Original Joker)!
His nickname for her: Pooh.
Her nickname for him: Puddin'.
The Joker: "Pooh, I need you to bring me my blueprints!"
Her: "I'm comin', Puddin'!"
The Joker (Nolanverse)!
His nickname for her: Little Bunny.
Her nickname for him: Mister J.
The Joker: "Come here, Little Bunny. Don't make me say it again."
Her: "I'll be good, Mister J! I promise! Honestly! I swear!"
Richard "Dick" Grayson (Robin / Nightwing)!
His nickname for her: Babe.
Her nickname for him: Bird Brain.
Dick: "Woah, woah, woah! What do you think that you're doing, Babe? Take it easy!"
Her: "Don't worry about it, Bird Brain!"
*Cue him hugging / cuddling / tickling the grumpiness out of her.*
Strictly Platonic:
Harleen Frances Quinzel (Harley Quinn)!
Her nickname for her friend: Sleeping Beauty. (She'd probably call someone that regardless of whether they were guy or a girl. Hahaha.)
Her friend's nickname for her: Blondie. (She's not a natural blonde, but she doesn't mind. She thinks that it's "interesting" that there's a singer called "Blondie" [Debbie Harry], too.)
Harley: "Wake up, Sleeping Beauty!" *Dumps ice-cold water on her friend.*
Her Friend: "Not right now, Blondie. Ugh! Why did you dump ice-cold water on me?! Get back here! Oh, you are so going to get it! Yeah, you'd better run!"
*Cue running all around the headquarters that looks suspiciously like the Avengers' tower but also like a warehouse.*
Chapter 3: In Which There Are Animated Disney Movies.
Summary:
In which there are animated Disney movies and also some commentary from the author.

Chapter Text
MARVEL COMICS:
Pietro Django Maximoff (Quicksilver): "Aladdin".
(Hehehe. Because of reasons.)
James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes (The Winter Soldier): "Anastasia".
(Oh my gosh, because of [some pretty good] reasons!) (Update: Okay, so ... apparently, "Anastasa" [technicaly] *isn't* a Disney movie, BUT ... Disney DID buy the rights to it [and they're planning to create a live-action movie out of it]. So ... either way, I'm leaving this one in here. So ... if you don't like that [or even if you do], then deal with it! Hahaha.)
Steven "Steve" Grant Rogers (Captain America): "Cinderella".
(Is that "practically perfect in every way"? Hehehe!)
Wade Winston Wilson (Deadpool): "Beauty and the Beast".
(Because of reasons. But who knows exactly which way the reasons go? Hehehe.)
Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto): "Robin Hood" or "The Little Mermaid".
(I briefly thought about writing "The Sword in the Stone", but that would probably be more fitting for Thor [whom I also do not write about]. But ... maybe it could seem like he [used to?] "takes" from human beings to "give" to mutant beings? But not in a really bad way, I guess. And then the second one ... well, Prince Eric. Does that one really need to be over-explained? Hahaha.)
Strictly Platonic:
Wanda Elizabeth Maxim off (The Scarlet Witch): "Pocahontas" or "Mulan".
(I kind of think that Wanda could probably relate to feeling like an outcast and / or like people think badly about her.)
DETECTIVE COMICS:
Edward Nygma (The Riddler): "Alice in Wonderland".
("Why is a raven like a writing desk?" "Why *is* a raven like a writing desk?")
Jerome Valeska: "Peter Pan".
(He could be, like, a crazy / evil Peter Pan. Hahaha.)
Jack Napier (The Classic / Original Joker): "101 Dalmations".
(Hey, he might actually get a 'kick' out of Cruella DeVil's character!)
The Joker (Nolanverse): "The Lion King".
(Scar, anyone? I know, I know ... it would fit Loki, too ... but I'm not writing about Loki. So ... I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry, losers! Hahaha. I'm just kidding. Or am I?)
Richard "Dick" Grayson (Robin / Nightwing): "Hercules".
(Hehehehehe.)
Strictly Platonic:
Harleen "Harley" Frances Quinzel (Harley Quinn): "Sleeping Beauty" or "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves".
(Because of reasons! Hahaha. That's her nickname for her little friend, do / don't you remember?! And as for the second one ... well, just imagine Harley's voice singing along to "I'm Wishing".)
Chapter 4: In Which There Are Musicals.
Summary:
In which there are musicals-schmusicals.

Chapter Text
Pietro Django Maximoff (Quicksilver): "Wicked".
("Wicked" would be watched together with both of the Maximoff twins.)
James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes (The Winter Soldier): "Grease".
(~Bucky is the word (is the word) that you heard. He's got groove, he's got meaning. Bucky is the time, is the place, is the motion. Now, Bucky is the way that we are feeling.~ Just imagine him getting all fluttery in his stomach (and stuff ... as if there were metaphorical butterflies in his stomach) and feeling in love with his girl when the song "Hopelessly Devoted" comes on. He'll probably steal a few glances at her and earn some smiles back in return. And maybe we can cue in a little bit of a cuddle-kiss! Hahaha. "I love you, Doll." "I love you, too, Buck[y].")
Steven "Steve" Grant Rogers (Captain America): "Singin' in the Rain".
(Wouldn't he just be a little cinnamon roll while watching this? Hahaha. Just imagine him acting all cute and smiling like a little school boy! And then he'd be laughing under his breath during he funny parts.)
Wade Winston Wilson (Deadpool): "The Phantom of the Opera".
(He might like to *let on* that he prefers to watch things like the "Repo! The Genetic Opera" opera / musical, but he really does enjoy watching the lovey-er-dovey-er stuff with his sweet baby-girl, too.)
Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto): "Fiddler on the Roof".
(By this point, he probably might have / would have re-embraced his Jewish roots ... hopefully. This isn't supposed to be an offensive on, of course. I know that it might be a little bit touchy for him, but - hopefully - like I said, he might have / would have re-embraced his culture by this point.)
Strictly Platonic:
Wanda Elizabeth Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch): "Wicked".
("Wicked" would be watched together with both of the Maximoff twins.)
DETECTIVE COMICS:
Edward Nygma (The Riddler): "Little Shop of Horrors".
("Feed me, Eddie! I'm starving! I'm going to drink your blood if you don't give me popcorn! Awh, no, come on, Puzzles ... I was just kidding!" *Pouting unsues until food magically appears as if out of nowhere [thanks to the author, of course]. Hahaha.*)
Jerome Valeska: "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street".
(Is that ten-out-of-ten-perfection enough for you guys? Hehehe.)
Jack Napier (The Classic / Original Joker): "Carousel".
(He'd probably wait for some kind of craziness to ensue, but even when that doesn't happen, he probably ends up realizing that he still enjoyed watching it with his right-hand little henchwench.)
The Joker (Nolanverse): "Repo! The Genetic Opera".
(Yes, there's a musical called "Repo Men". Correction: OOPS. It's called "Repo! The Genetic Opera"! I fixed it.)
Richard "Dick" Grayson (Robin / Nightwing): "Moulin Rouge".
(I kind of feel like Ewan McGregor and Chris O'Donnell have some kind of similarity right now ... but I think that I'm just sensing some kind of other similarity between two different movies. Ugh.)
Strictly Platonic:
Harleen "Harley" Frances Quinzel (Harley Quinn): "Hairspray".
(She'd probably also get a "kick" out of "Singin' in the Rain" due to the funny accents part.)

Chapter 5: In Which There Are Names In Cellular Phones.
Summary:
In which there are silly nicknames in cellular phones.
A NOTE FOR WANDA'S VERSION OF THIS PREFERENCE: I can't really stop people from reading Wanda's part as "My Forever Other-Brother" / "My Forever Other-Sibling", but it might not make a lot of sense, since Wanda already has a real / twin brother, but she doesn't have a real-blood-sister, so whether the female character is Pietro's girlfriend or a close friend to the Maximoff twins, she'd be close like a sister to Wanda. I guess that people can read it as being about a person that is just really good friends with both of them, though.
A basic summary: I'm writing in a female P.O.V., but if you're a male that's reading the platonic parts, just imagine that the platonic friend isn't the girlfriend character.

Summary:
In which there are favourite colours that the characters like to see you wear.
A NOTE FOR THE STRICTLY PLATONIC CHARACTERS: I'm personally writing from and / or in a female perspective / point of view, but I guess that anyone could be friends with the strictly platonic characters. (The Nolanverse is kind of supposed to be a darker version of the franchise compared to the other ones.)

Chapter 7: In Which There Are Best Friends.
Summary:
In which there are people that you are best friends with.
NOTE: I included some people that I don't really have plans to actually write about. I still feel kind of a little bit "eh" about including them, but whatever.

Wanda Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch).
James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes (The Winter Soldier)!

Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto)!
Charles Xavier (Professor X).
Strictly Platonic:
Wanda Elizabeth Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch!
Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver).
(COMMENTARY: I considered including The Vision in this one... but that's more like Wanda's thing ... being close to him and all. She needed someone else to turn to when she thought that her twin brother, Pietro, was "dead" / when Pietro TEMPORARILY "died" and then [eventually?] came back to life somehow. *Cough.* The cradle. *Cough.* So ... that's where The Vision came along and got close to her, and she got close to him, too.)

Chapter 8: In Which There Are Mental Health Issues.
Summary:
In which the characters find out about your mental health issues and do their best to help you.
Chapter Text
MARVEL COMICS:
Pietro Django Maximoff (Quicksilver)!
When Pietro finds out about your mental health issues, he is heartbroken for you, and he holds you in his arms while you cry, and he stays up all night with you, just listening to you telling him everything about what you're going through. He promises you that he and Wanda will do their best to always be there for you and help you when and / or where they can. He does his best to take care of you when you really need it, and he'll do whatever it takes to cheer you up and to get you to smile again, but if what you really need is just to cry it out (or to fight it out in the training room), he'll be there with you, too, the whole time. He'll probably run around like crazy trying to make sure that you have everything that you need and to try to find out if there's anything else that he could do for you. He'd probably help to keep you accountable about your self-care (but in a loving way, and not in a pushy way).
James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes (The Winter Soldier)!
Bucky is no stranger to mental health issues. He'd really be able to understand where you're coming from (and not just in some "cliche" way) even if he hasn't personally gone through exactly the same thing and / or experience as you. He'd try to reassure you that things could get better. He probably wouldn't want to feel like he was lying if he said that it would *for sure* get better if things might really be just be kind of hard for a while. He'd know that you'd need to be allowed to experience your feelings and not just hold them in to make other people feel better. He'd make the two of you hot chocolate and put on one of your guys' favourite movies to watch while you cuddled on the couch during one of the night when you just couldn't sleep, and he'd let you cry in his arms with your own arms wrapped around his waist, clinging to him. He'd try to distract you when you get really down on yourself, and he'd encourage you when your self-esteem became kind of low (he'd never let it get to the point of where you would begin to hate yourself, though, because he'd always make sure that you saw / knew just how special you were ... for your *own* sake!).
Steven "Steve" Grant Rogers (Captain America)!
Oh, sweet cinnamon rolls. Steve would just do the cutest things to cheer you up when that was what you needed. He'd leave you sweet little notes (maybe even "anonymously", but of course you'd know who they were from!), he'd create little scavenger hunts for the two of you, he'd pick up whatever you needed from the pharmacy, he'd make sure that you were eating enough (and healthily), he'd cuddle you, he'd listen to you, he'd silently (or verbally) signal for the team to give you a little bit of a break if you really needed it, he'd also lovingly challenge you and encourage you to fight what you were going through, etc. He'd respect your privacy when you'd ask him not to let anyone know some of the things that you'd told him, and he'd also get the team in on cheering you up. They didn't need to know exactly what was wrong, but they could still try to help, whether it was by never leaving you too alone to brood in your troubles ... or giving you quiet time to yourself to work on yourself.
Wade Winston Wilson (Deadpool)!
Okay, so ... Wade would honestly know how it feels to feel crazy. Heck, he *is* actually pretty "crazy" (in some ways), and he'd always remind you that - no matter what - you weren't the crazy one. He didn't do it in a one-upping way at all. He did it because he knew that it's what you needed to hear. You needed to know that you *were not* crazy, no matter how crazy some of the things that you were going through may get and / or seem. Wade heard freaking voices, but he was sane enough to keep you sane, too. He'd cuddle you when you couldn't sleep, and he'd stay cuddling you even when you did fall asleep. He'd bring home food for the two of you (he secretly - but maybe not-so-secretly - really wanted to make sure that you were eating well enough), he'd take you out for walks (because that makes puppies feel better, right?!), he'd be silly, he'd be serious, he'd sing to you rather well and also rather not well, he'd remind you if you neglected your self-care, and he'd loving scold you just a little bit if you started to act like you were giving up. He wasn't just scolding you to be selfish, though. Well, not 100%, at the least. He didn't want you to give up, and it was for the both of you. It was a little bit selfish, because he loved you, but it was mostly selfless, because he loved you. He even let you help beat up Francis. When you're really down, you guys watch "Beauty and the Beast" together ... on repeat. (It might just drive the people in the neighbouring apartments crazy if they could hear it, but neither of you would care. Well, okay ... Wade wouldn't care. You'd care a little bit. But what was that?! There are vegan chimichangas?! It's time to be little piggies and go down to the shopping center! Neighbour (banging on the wall): "Turn down the surround sound, guys!" Wade: *Leaves the movie playing with the surround sound while you guys go shopping for these *magical* vegan chimichanga ingredients.)
Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto)!
Erik knows what loss feels like. He'd do whatever it took to help you to feel better (and just to help you in general). His attempts were both selfish and selfish. He didn't want to lose you, but he also only ever wanted the best for you, and whatever you needed, he'd darn well do his best to acquire it for you. If someone hurt you, justice. If you needed a break from life, solitude. If you were under a lot of stress, assistance. If you felt alone, comfort. If you were dealing with shame, encouragement. If you had self-doubt, reassurance. And if you felt empty, he'd fill your soul, your life, your existence, with love. He'd be gentle with you, but he'd also push you when you really needed it [and when you and he both *knew* that you really needed it].
Strictly Platonic:
Wanda Elizabeth Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch)!
Wanda would cry with you when you finally opened up completely to her. She could already sense some of what you were going through and see snippets of things, but she didn't pry any further out of a great respect for you (she promised herself that she wouldn't do that unless - one day - the situation was so dire that it really called for that). She would be heartbroken even further when you allowed her to see into your mind and read your thoughts and experiences. She almost couldn't believe that someone as wonderful as you could even be allowed to go through such horrible things. She'd use her powers to comfort you when you'd allow her to do so. She'd take away the bad thoughts and replace them with good thoughts. She'd give you sweet, pleasant dreams. She'd let you experience all of the wonderful thoughts that people had about you. She'd make sure that you didn't hurt yourself (as would everyone else, by the way). She'd take care of you and almost never leave your side when you were really sick. She'd make sure to bring you tissues and water and pain medication (for headaches?) for after a night of crying and / or a mental breakdown. She'd hug you and stay by your side. She'd make sure to be with you every step of the way if you were dealing with a lot of anxiety. She'd hide out in your room in the tower with you, making pillow forts and watching movies for hours (movie marathons!) and eat vegan marshmallows with you. Sometimes you guys would roast them over candles or a contained fire in some kind of a pot or sturdy metal trashcan, and sometimes she'd use her powers to "cheat" and / or make it "easier" (basically, if you guys were feeling of lazy to be bothered). Pietro would be along for a lot of things, too. He and Wanda would always consult each other about you and / or what to do for you, which you didn't mind (as you were close to both of them). And they'd both be so happy and so proud of you whenever you were feeling better and happier.
DETECTIVE COMICS:
Edward Nygma (The Riddler)!
Edward would be as understanding as he could be. He dealt with his own mental health issues as well, and he knows what it's like to feel trapped within your own brain, like your own brain was attacking you. He'd research so much about what you were going through, but he wouldn't try to force advice on you before asking you first. But he would try to implement some of his research into your guys's lifestyle without making too much of a big deal out of it or making it too obvious. You knew what he was doing, though, and you loved and appreciated it (and him for going to all of that trouble for you). He'd encourage you to take time when you needed it (instead of pushing yourself way too hard). He'd make you PBJs (and any other kinds of sandwiches that you liked). He'd make sure that you take your vitamins and / or supplements, but if you were taking medication, he wouldn't be too pushy about that, though. He figured that tells medication was a personal thing, and that it could even be kind of a touchy subject. You wouldn't freak out if he did bring it up, but he didn't question you very much about it, because he respected you. He'd mostly wait for you to bring it up with him if *you* wanted to talk about it. Other than that, he'd just always make sure to have time for you no matter what, to be there when you needed him, and to love you unconditionally. And if you had sessions with a psychologist and / or a doctor, he'd go *way* out of his way to get you there on time, never late. On, on / in the middle of a heist? "Oh, would you look at the time?! It's time for [your name]'s appointment. (Very discreet!) "I've got to run. I'll see ya later, boys!" (Jerome would likely do the same thing, too!) There was one time when you guys were *almost late*, but that's a whole other story. Hehehe. *Shifty eyes.*
Jerome Valeska!
Jerome might react a little bit insensitively at first, but when he realizes that you're being completely seriously, he'd immediately cut the boy-scout and have a very mature (and concerned) conversation about your mental health with you. He'd be sure to have you outline everything that you needed ... what you'd need from him and just in general. He'd make sure that you knew that he'd do his best to be there for you and with you when you needed him, and he'd do whatever it took to follow through on that.
Jack Napier (The Classic / Original Joker)!
The Joker was a man that wasn't very close and personal, but he'd care for you in his own very special way. He wasn't big on having a showdown of feelings or a parade of sentimentality, but he'd do what he could to make sure that your physical health didn't suffer along with your mental health. You'd even caught him reading about the problems that you were facing, just so that he could know how to help if things ever got really severe. Seeing The Joker do such a caring and thoughtful thing was really moving. He'd quietly cuddle you when he could feel that you were hanging by an emotional thread, and - eventually - he'd give you the speech about how much he cares about you and hates to see you in pain (not that he'd want you to cover it up if you were in pain). He'd do his best to have negative stimuli out of sight and out of mind ... until you felt ready to be exposed to them and to finally overcome them. (To be honest, he'd probably be like the Dad in "Peter Pan". Emotionally standoffish ... until he realizes just how much he cares about you and doesn't want to lose you. And then he'd cease to be as hard on you as he previously might have been.)
The Joker (Nolanverse)!
Four words. He'd kill for you. (He'd go on a quick, sick rampage for you. Bonus points if you get the reference.) Not that you'd want him to do so, though. He'd keep you close by his side, protect you from anything and / or anything that might hurt you. And he'd also be surprisingly gentle, caring, and sweet. He even started to actually wait in line at the pharmacy or store when your needed things (thanks to your pleading for him to do it the right way, and very much so to his chagrin). He'd never leave you alone around his goons, and he'd never leave you alone in general if he could help it (but he also didn't constantly hover over you like a sick little animal or a sick little baby that needed 24/7 superision). If things started getting out of hand for you, he'd hold you and rock back and forth with you while singing you some kind of "lullaby" (so much for not being a sick little baby, but your his little baby). He can be menacing in the streets, but comforting in the sheet / blanket forts. (Don't tell me that you thought that I was going to say something dirty? Hehehe.)
Richard "Dick" Grayson (Robin / Nightwing)!
When Dick learned about what you were going through, he went out of his way - above and beyond - to do whatever he could to help you. He even decided to let you go on runs with him outside of Wayne Manor (on the expansive grounds). He took it upon himself to help you train well enough to become a well-practice runner (and to be able to keep up with him without collapsing a lung or two). He frequently brought you breakfast in bed ... and lunch ... and dinner ... and "snacks" ... on days when you wouldn't even leave your room, let alone the mansion. He'd bring you books, and he'd even read them to you, although he'd jokingly make you promise not to tell Bruce or Alfred ... or anyone else for that matter. Not that they didn't already know or - at the least - find out. They'd thought that they'd heard someone (Dick) reading aloud on a few different occasions, and then they eventually realized that the voices (yours and his) were coming from your room (or, rather, your exemplary suite). One time they'd even managed to catch you both asleep after one of your mutual reading sessions. Dick would cover for you when you needed a break from the outside world, but he'd give you a gentle push sometimes to make sure that you didn't become a hermetical little shut-in. He worried about you sometimes, he really did. But you'd reassure him whenever you felt like you were getting better, and you'd thank him for all of his attentiveness and help. He knew what it was like to be alone. Heck, he lost his whole family, but he'd gained a new one (which he was thankful for), and he wanted to extend the same thing to you and make sure that you knew that you'd never have to be alone again.
Strictly Platonic:
Harleen "Harley" Frances Quinzel (Harley Quinn)!
Harley would just go crazy with protectiveness over her best friend. She'd never let anyone hurt you or put you down. She'd sort of force herself into your little bubble when she felt you shutting yourself away. You were thankful for that. It was almost like you couldn't help shutting down and isolating yourself, but now there was finally someone that saw through all of that and wouldn't just leave you alone when you'd put up the act of pushing them away. Harley just knew you. She knew the look in your eyes when you'd say to leave you alone, but you really meant to [please] stay. She'd beat up anyone that made her best friend cry, and she'd comfort you when the stress and anxiety became too much. She'd make sure to tell you just how much you were worth [so very, very much and a lot and a ton] even when you didn't always believe it and even denied it, and she'd say that you were "loo-hoo-hoo-hoony" (a term that she picked up from The Joker ... but it's actually "loo-oo-oo-oony") if you couldn't see it for yourself. She would try to distract you, but - ultimately - she knew and felt that the real, true progress had to come from you. But she'd be there basically every step of the way if she had anything to say about it and / or anything to do with it.
