The fridge was packed with pouch-packaged jelly—new from WayneTech, designed to quickly replenish nutrients and water while reducing mess. Jason had heard Dick and Tim argue over which flavor was better, but had never tried them himself—after all, he’d never really been part of the pack. Why was Bruce asking? Was this his way of extending a pack invitation? With food? Just like Batman had done the first time they met, taking Jason out for burgers?
Bruce should know Jason had always had trouble refusing anything that could fill his stomach and ease that constant, twisting hunger.
“…Strawberry,” Jason murmured.
