MHA X Hunter

Summary:

Gathered together, both heroes and villains alike are offered a glimpse into a world unlike their own.

(my summaries suck, alr?)

Notes:

Hey, glad to see you were interested enough to click on this. I decided to do a 'MHA reacts to Hunter X Hunter' because I've run across many reaction fics of stuff outside MHA so why not. This was a specific thing that's been bothering me for a while so.

Disclaimer: I am NOT the perfect writer out there, nor do I expect myself to be. A pet peeve of mine is bad grammar, so I do my best to catch my own mistakes and correct them. That being said, if you notice something horribly spelled let me know? But I'm not really looking for writing advice besides grammar, I'm just here to have fun.

Chapter Text

Sounds of falling and startled yelps filled a once empty theater room as 20 or so teenagers fell into a messy pile of limbs.

A familiar gruff and angry voice yelled out, “The hell!” The first few to stand on their feet were disoriented for a few moments, before immediately tensing up realizing that something abnormal had happened. They were just in their dorms a few moments, gearing up to spend the rest of the night in their beds sleeping. As the rest of the class managed to get up, they came to the same realization.

“Could this be a villain isolating us for an attack?” The calm yet tense voice of the usually composed Yaoyorozu Momo rang out silently. The rest of the class murmured nervously. Before anyone could decide what to do, a flash took place, and another group that wasn’t there, tumbled in. They were much quicker to their feet, and immediately analyzed their surroundings from years of combat and training.

Pro Hero Eraserhead’s eyes widened at the sight of his class. “Class?” The students felt hopeful at seeing their teachers here, more assured that whatever was happening wouldn’t go on for much longer. More flashes appeared, as groups of people began to fall into the space that was quickly getting crowded. Faces such as Endeavor, Gran Torino, and “Is that Sir NightEye?” appeared. A noticeable tension filled the air, as people began to notice everyone who was in the room.

“It’s the League!” “How did All For One escape?!” Cries and shouts, as the villains who also noticed the presence of heroes instantly were ready to attack.

Stop.

Rather than the voice being spoken out loud, it had resonated through the minds of everyone present, immediately halting their movements. “What the hell is going on”, the scratchy and irritated voice of Shigaraki seethed. He knew the heroes were definitely up to this. 'I won’t go down without killing at least one of those stubborn hero brats.'

“Whoever it is, reveal yourself immediately,” Endeavor shouted, fists clenched at the thought of a villain being able to pull a surprise attack of this level. Noticing his presence, Dabi’s eyes hardened.

Let me set this now, any fighting won’t be tolerated, unless you want to spend the rest of your time here paralyzed. Won’t mean much to me.

All For One’s head tilted slightly, thoughts racing at all the possible suggestions and meanings of them being here, and the mysterious voice that they were able to hear. 'I haven’t heard of any teleportation quirk of this level, in the hero industry or villain underground. If it even is teleportation.'

A young frightened girl, weakened by blood loss and covered in bandages whimpered, having found herself in the midst of intimidating figures, heroes and villains alike.

“Who are you? And what do you want?” A hard edge filled the voice of Toogata Mirio. His friends and a classful of his kohai had been put in an already dangerous situation, amplified even more by the subtle threat of whoever was speaking.

Have you ever wondered, in a world such as your own divided by the class of “hero” and “villain” what it would be like to be free?

Confusion filled the expression of most there, as they struggled to grasp what the question meant for them being here. However a gleam appeared in the eyes of a few, such as Toga Himiko, who immediately was able to understand what they were conveying. Due to her bloodlusting quirk and the strict caste system that classified people as either hero or villain, she longed for a world where she didn’t have to be forced into either. Where she could simply live.

“What the hell type of question is that? ''growled Bakugou. “Get us the fuck out of here, and maybe when we find you, I won’t blow your ass into bits and peices and smear you on the pavement.”

Gran Torino scowled at the boy’s statement. “Fool, you do realize we don’t necessarily have the upperhand in this situation for you to be making such threats?”

A chuckle. You certainly don’t. My reason for bringing you all here is to step outside of your own world for a moment, and while I can’t necessarily bring you to another, you can most certainly view one.

A ripple of shock and confusion once hit the crowd of people again. “What are you suggesting? ''asked Midoriya, timid yet filled with curiosity and caution. Stain, having been carefully following along the moment he arrived, could feel his anger steadily rising, feeling slighted at the jab being made towards heroes and villains. With the dawn of quirks there had always been the forces of good and evil constantly pushing and tugging in order for a better world.

It was his duty to ensure that good would keep winning, by purging the evil that had snaked in. There was no other way for society to work, without the bold and clear labels that maintained law and order.

You all may not know who I am, nor ever come to know, but I am here to provide a glimpse into a world that has its similarities to yours, yet without heroes and villains.

All For One came to a conclusion. 'Most likely a world with quirks, or something similar, yet… free of heroes.' He grinned, his interest level having spiked enormously.

All Might felt hesitation and a wave of uncertainty come upon him. Ever since arrival, he had been a heartbeat away from a stroke, realizing that he was only a few feet away from his lifelong nemesis, despite having defeated him and resorting to the pitiful state that he was. Now listening to the words of… who or whatever brought them here, he contemplated over the idea of a world that didn’t contain heroes.

There was no question to him that there were villains, despite what the voice had said. There were always people doing evil. A lack of people stopping them had what was left of his gut churning. 'I can’t even begin to fathom what that must be like.'

Scratching his neck intensely, Shigaraki wanted to grasp everything in his immediate radius into dust. He didn’t care about any of this. He felt a little envious of the idea of living in a world without those damned heroes prancing around, lying about being the good, as they condemned everyone else.

“And whose to tell that you're not lying” drawled the voice of Dabi, hands stuffed in his pockets, gazing listlessly ahead.

Well, nothing much! You simply have to trust me. Or don’t, you can’t leave here anyways.

Several more questions popped in the heads of various people around the room, but before any of them could speak up, they were cut off.

Alright, this is taking a little too long for my liking. I do not like people questioning what I do or know. You all will now be viewing the world of Hunter X Hunter, a world where people can obtain a hunter license, and hunt whatever they wish. Whether it be gems, land, or even other people.

“Hunting people?” Kaminari could feel his head starting to spin a little at the thought of the last bit.

Now, please be seated, with a row between heroes and villains to prevent any… accidents from happening.

Realizing there was not much choice in the matter, the heroes and students alike decided to take the first few rows for themselves, while the villains seated themselves in the back. Stain allowed a hefty distance between himself and the League to prevent from lashing out at them.

Soon, there was only one person standing, the small young girl, who was neither a hero nor a villain. She teetered on unsteady feet, a small whine building up at the back of her throat as people noticed there was also a young child among them.

“Why would you bring a kid here” Eraserhead asked darkly, realizing the young girl could not have been older than six.

Ah, Eri. Yes, she can be here as well, and since you’ve taken it upon yourself to say something, she can sit next to you, Eraser.

Eri felt a little awe, at the voice knowing her name despite her having not spoken once since arrival, let alone to say her name. She nervously shuffled over to the empty seat next to the tired looking pro hero, who sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

Panic filled her, thinking she had messed up again, like she had been doing all her life, before the man patted the seat, looking at her with a firm but gentle expression.

“Sit, it’s fine.” Climbing up on the seat, she folded her hands into her worn dress, head tucked to her chest. Eraserhead eyed the young girl carefully, taking note of the poor state she was in. He’d have to look into it once they had gotten out of this place.

With everyone seated, the screen lit brightly, and every eye intently watched for their first look at another world.

Notes:

Yes, I'm already trying to establish a father daughter relationship between Aizawa and Eri.

Sue me.

Anyways, I decided to post this now because I've already completed the first episode! That, is most likely getting posted tomorrow, or later today, depending on how far I get through the second episode. As for regular updates... I can't tell you. Summer classes are ending in about a week for me, so therefore I will be using all of my spare time on this, since like I said, this is something I really want to do. But it is a lot really for me to write out what's happening in every episode, then go in and write detailed reactions. I can't promise you I'll follow a regular update schedule. But expect them to be frequent. Thank you all for reading this, see you the first episode!!
