Whistleblower and known troublemaker April O'Neil strikes a deal with the Pan-Atlantic Defense Corps- she's allowed inside the New York Shatterdome if she stops reporting about a sudden wave of new Kaiju attacks being covered up by the media. The world isn't ready for the Shatterdome's greatest secret: two Jaegers that aren't supposed to exist, corruption running deep in the PADC, and a team of four young pilots who can Drift in any pair combination between them named Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.
