That didn't stop the tiny beast in Hinata from craving validation, from wanting Kageyama to acknowledge his victory.
"I won." Hinata whispered, lips brushing against the side of Tobio's throat.
Hinata felt Tobio shudder, then a quiet, "Yeah," escaped the setters mouth, once again. Like he didn't quite have the words to express anything more yet.
Hinata leaned back to look at Kageyama's face and was happy to see that Kageyama was already looking back, sporting a smile. Large and shaky, and the most beautiful thing in the world.
"You won." Kageyama said, looking at Shouyou. "You were amazing."

Tobio Kageyama, V. Leagues at the young age of 18, Olympian at 19, and currently Japan’s #1 setter, was undoubtedly one of the hottest 'alleged' bachelors in Japan. As per many celebrities, Kageyama is subject to many dating allegations and victim to various fan shippings. Fans go crazy as a certain 'Ninja Shouyou' makes his debut on the Japan stage and more ships are created.
Unbeknownst to the public, this particular ship has been sailing for a while - journeying together to reach the top of the world.

In the semi-final game of the Spring Prefecture Qualifiers, Karasuno is playing Aoba Johsai, and nothing about that is weird. So why does Kageyama feel so off?
Well, because this one tennis-ball-lookin-ass dude has it out for Hinata, as it turns out, and decides to act on that at the end of the match. Karasuno -- and especially one Kageyama Tobio -- is decidedly not happy about anyone messing with their feral tangerine child.

Hinata looks up startled and blinks rapidly. After a few more seconds of silence, those eyes narrow and he huffs. “Funny, Kindaichi-kun, but I’m not allowed to remember? And where would I sleep anyway?”
That’s right, there are only enough beds for the trainees… or so Washijo said. Kindaichi knows, without doubt, they could find another but he doesn’t want to risk being caught. “Stay with me,” he says, tone light, as if sleeping in the same bed isn't a big deal. And it wouldn’t be, except for the fact Kindaichi really, really, really likes Hinata and oh god this is going to be a disaster but the offer is out and he can’t take it back.
