Summary
Dick knew he was acting strange but he couldn’t find it in himself to care. Carefully turning over the blade in his hands, Dick felt his heart stop when he saw it. There in the hilt of the handle was a beautiful engraving of the face of an owl in the delicate metal. It looked exactly like the ones he remembered, and the ones that still haunt his dreams.
Over a decade after he escaped, Dick has to face the Court once more only this time he has more than himself to protect.

Then he felt it; the familiar sense of being watched. Soon enough the hairs on the back of his neck stood up, but he knew who it was.
Bruce opened his eyes.
Seconds later, a bright pair of yellow eyes appeared from the darkness, staring at him with unnerving intensity.
“Tim,” he said, through heavy lidded eyes. This time he didn’t cover the yawn that escaped from his mouth.
The small clock in his nightstand said it was close to 7 A.M, meaning Alfred would soon come here to wake the kids up for breakfast.
“What happened?” Bruce asked him softly, when his youngest remained silent.
