FAQ:
*Does my story have to be about the Wraith?
While we like to focus on all things 'Wraith', we also welcome stories of other kinds too - ones that we refer to as 'Wraith-related'. That may be a bug!fic or transformation-fic, something quirky involving xenobiology, inter-species relations... let your imagination run wild!*Does my story need a Wraith as the focus of the story?
A wraith may be your central character (antagonist or protagonist), or your story could follow a human's adventures where the Wraith pop up somewhere along the way.*What about ratings, pairings, and slash?
We welcome stories of any rating, as well as any relationships/pairings etc. (and Gen fics too), provided they are tagged appropriately.

Rules:
*Wraith:
All we ask is that any wraith character or inclusion of wraith culture is treated respectfully. We don't expect them to always be the 'good guys', we just love stories where time and thought has gone into the treatment of this fascinating alien society.*Kudos and feedback:
If you like it, say so! Show the author some love; click that 'kudos' button and leave a comment. We all know how wonderful it is to receive positive responses to our work and how motivating it is to keep on writing.*Conduct:
Please be respectful of all works and authors. Feedback is encouraged and constructive criticism can be very helpful for writers. BUT. And it's a BIG BUT. There is a BIG difference between being constructive and being downright negative. Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion. BUT. We are all here because we love fanfiction, whether reading it or writing it (or both!), and nothing scares away a wonderful fellow writer faster than a nasty comment on their story. There is always a way to express your opinion while still being considerate. Just think of it like this; if your best friend/ mum/ uncle/ friendly neighbour wrote the fic (and they happened to know it's your pseudo attached to your comment), how would you word your feedback? ;)*Tags and ratings:
Please ensure that your story has been rated and tagged appropriately. This is to make it easy for readers to ensure they know what they're going to be reading and to avoid anything that might be upsetting.
An Explicit rating isn't just for stories involving explicit sex or rape/non-con. This can also be used in regards to other topics, e.g. graphic violence, torture, etc. If in doubt, please ask! :)
If you are worried about giving away spoilers by using specific tags, one idea is to choose the appropriate rating (e.g. Mature) and some general tags (e.g. Torture) and then add a note tag (e.g. Please read notes for more mature content info) as well as more detailed information in the notes. For example, in the notes at the beginning of your story, you could include the line: 'If you are concerned about the mature content, please read the end notes. Be warned - there are spoilers'. In the end notes, you can then list the specific acts or descriptions that might be upsetting for some readers.
If in doubt, just ask!
