Wednesday has only spent a few weeks at Nevermore, but she sure has made herself a reputation. Known to never show the slightest weakness, most students fear her. But Enid sees her in a way that no other student does, and she can’t shake an alarming suspicion:
There’s something wrong with Wednesday’s health.
Wednesday is about to go through the biggest challenge she’s faced, both physically and emotionally. In order to make it out the other end, she will need to learn how to lean on her family and friends.

If the stalker is to believe I’ve had a sudden personality shift, you are a much more believable option. Not to mention the social capital you already wield would be more than enough to bolster the investigation. Plus you are...my best friend. I have never had one of those before, so it is not unbelievable that we could end up together.”
Enid swallowed thickly. With her feelings for her roommate, this was probably a bad idea. She should definitely say no.
