Summary
A year before Will Byers disappears, when Steve is 16 years old, he dreams of the Upside Down. The dream, a warning, means that high school plays out differently. Steve learns ahead of time who he actually wants to be, what to care about, and that he can be brave about a lot of things he wouldn’t expect--including Eddie Munson.

This is my excuse to rewrite Steve Harrington at Hawkins High, who deserves to feel true friendship and to play Dungeons and Dragons. And, of course, a nice love story with Hawkins’ hottest. -

“Rules. Like, there’ll be no eating in my car. You’re not driving my car. No heavy metal,” Steve keeps listing, “you’re not picking up women and fucking them in m-”
“I'll try to control myself,” Eddie interrupts with a quip, a smirk. Fucking girls in Steve’s car, or anywhere else for that matter, isn’t going to be an issue, unless something pretty fundamental shifts in him.
Steve continues, completely ignoring Eddie, “You’ll wipe your feet. You’re not dragging dirt all over my car. No hitchhikers. No cutesy road games. No smoking in the car. I’m not paying for all the gas.”
“Ass, gas or grass, got it,” Eddie says, like he's taking this very seriously. He is not taking this seriously.
Or: Road trip!

Summary
“This is us, huh?” Steve asks her, reaching out to lay a hand between her ears. His face aches, and she has a bit of blood matted in the fur around her left eye; matching wounds. There’s black ichor and gore coated up her muzzle and down her ruff, and when she opens her mouth her teeth are large and wicked looking.
“Do you even have to ask?” she mutters, leaning her full weight against him.

Summary
When the suits came round and forced a thick stack of papers under Wayne’s hands to sign his silence away, along with his trailer for “study,” promising that they were lining up a new place for him as they spoke (and didn’t that raise more questions than it answered, he thought), it was a tall woman in a severe suit who had told him that Eddie was in the hospital. She led, of course, with how they had cleared his name of any wrong doing — the Carver boy, a psychotic break, details Wayne didn’t care to remember in the least — and that he was a hero, and it would be a hard road ahead of him but he would live —
“Live?” Wayne had asked hoarsely.
The woman had grimaced. “Yes. I’m sorry. He and a few other children were injured saving the — Carver’s last victim. Your nephew was the worst of them. But the doctors are optimistic about his recovery, said Harrington and the others got him to the hospital just in time.”
Or, a snapshot from a universe where Eddie Munson lives, Stephanie “Stevie” Harrington has always been the babysitter, and Wayne Munson is Hawinks High’s Women’s Basketball’s number one supporter.Series

Summary
Steve jerks awake, sitting up so quickly that Robin almost topples over and staring wildly around the room. When his gaze lands on Eddie, he blanches visibly.
“Oh, shit,” he mutters. “Come on, no. Come on. Not again.”
“Harrington?” Eddie asks slowly. He does not love the way that Steve is staring at him right now. He really doesn’t. Steve looks like he’s staring at a ghost, a bloodied monster, like Eddie is something that should not exist in the light of day. “You good, dude?”
