John Constantine told them not to do the thing. They did it anyway.Or, Danny gets summoned by the League, and he actually kind of adopts them in the process. Because these big city heroes don't know anything about ghosts and who is he if he doesn't help them out? Besides, the Watchtower is in space. Danny's always wanted to go to space...

The new long-distance lens for his camera came just in time, he finally managed to find a pair of comfortable sneakers that wouldn’t fall apart after an hour of roof-crawling and it was still early enough that he could reach the school’s administration ahead of time.
As it happens, he hadn’t prepared for stumbling across an amateurish occult summoning that nonetheless appeared to be working.

Especially not when the bats get involved with their trashy next door neighbor whose behavior seems more and more contradictory.
Tim had saved them all more times than he could count, maybe this time they could return the favor.
