Summary
There was plenty of instances in PIDW where a really, really cool concept was just completely wasted for a quick "fun" papapa device. This bracelet, which would allow the one bonded to it to take on a transformation of their 'heart animal' was one such instance. Well, Shen Yuan wasn't about to waste such an opportunity just to give himself cute ears and a tail, especially because the creature he transforms into is one with the power to shake the very foundations, enough power to actually go get his precious Luo Binghe.

But staying at Luo Binghe's side will be easier said than done, even if his mysterious heritage lands him in the good graces of the Scum Villain, Shen Yuan is still a demon. One living in the middle of a cultivation sect. Not to mention that something—something darker and stronger than Shen Yuan—seems to be messing with the plot, and not changing things for the better. Summary
The only thing standing in Shen Jiu's way to becoming a peak lord is a stupid bonded beast. After countless failed attempts, his luck seems to take a turn for the better as he meets a nearly extinct species of beast and manages to bond with it.
It's only... The beast doesn't appear as mindless as expected, and Shen Qingqiu quickly finds himself growing fond of it regardless of the circumstances of their bonding nor his previous attitude towards beasts. Still, no matter how close they grow, he can't shake the feeling of his unlikely companion keeping some secret from him.
