Summary
For Hoseok's 17th birthday, Taehyung wanted to give him his first kiss. He was buzzing with excitement, nervous like it was his turn to spin the bottle, but when he was at the door, ready to leave, the phone rang. It was Hoseok's mother. He wasn't feeling well and their little celebration was cancelled.
It was only later that Taehyung found out that Hoseok wasn't sick. He died. His heart stopped beating, his blood turned cold and his parents drove him not to the hospital but the morgue where he had his first meal as a vampire.
But Taehyung kept his gift, just like he kept in touch with Hoseok through messages and video calls and funny pictures they sent each other when they run out of words.
Hoseok was still his friend and now, he will turn twenty in just a few hours and Taehyung is ready to give him the gift that he kept safe for years.
