“Kacchan? Why the hell are you wearing socks with my face on them?”
They were custom-made and bought off of Etsy for fifty dollars. Katsuki may or may not have originally purchased them as a gag gift for their class’s annual White Elephant last year, but then liked them too much and decided to keep them for himself. He also may or may not have been waiting for the best opportunity to show them off.
“So I can crush you every day, idiot.”
OR
Five years after graduation, sometimes Izuku wakes up in the middle of the night, the image of Kacchan lying dead in a pool of own blood burning through his memory, and cannot fall back asleep.
Five years after graduation, Katsuki is still waiting for Izuku to stop trying to do everything by himself.

Summary
His hand is tugged up, and moved so that it covers Deku’s mouth like a gag. He feels the other boy’s lips move, slowly. Repeating the same words over and over again.
Dread spreads through his chest.
Katsuki copies the movements with his own mouth, exhaling sound around them.
“I...can’t—” Katsuki stops. He is staring, but he knows he is not staring at Deku’s face. Who knows what he's staring at. He doesn’t know either.
“You can’t speak,” he says for Deku, and feels the other boy’s head move in an exaggerated nod.
This, Katsuki thinks, is pretty fucking bad.
Katsuki is blinded. Izuku is muted. Both of them are kidnapped. Things get worse.

"I'm on my way," he clenches his hand around the radio. "Describe him to me again."
"Uhh," the officer mutters. "It's dark and half the bridge lights are out so we can't see really well, but he's got dark hair, kinda a green tinge to it? Real thin, too. Looks malnourished. Late teens to early twenties age range? It's hard to tell from our view and how sick he looks. We think he's on something, too. Keeps muttering to himself and sounds real out of it."
Katsuki cursed to himself. "Fucking hell. I'm two minutes out. Keep him fucking occupied 'til I get there, got it? You let him jump, I'm coming for every single one of your goddamn careers. Capische?"
katsuki and his hero partners are stuck in the office catching up on paperwork in the middle of the night, and katsuki overhears a call on the radio about a possible suicide jumper with a description extremely close to the man he's been trying to track down for several years

Summary
Years after Katsuki left Izuku in the dust as a kid he's reminded of the gesture of affection that had his palms sweating and heart pounding when Izuku used to do it for him when they'd get scuffed up on the playground: kissing his band aids after patching him up.
Fast forward to the present and the dumb nerd is just going around offering up kisses to any old extra in their class except Katsuki and it's driving him insane. Despite him pushing these feelings within himself as deep as possible, it stings more than he could've ever imagined.
