Summary
When Geralt and Yennifer are captured Ciri is left by herself in the woods. But then Geralt's estranged Barker saves them and proves that you don't mess with his Witcher. Geralt finally gets the chance to put things right after the mountain and gains what he was sure he had lost.

Summary
“Ciri, hurry sweetie! You’re going to miss the bus!” Jaskier called as he finished packing Ciri’s lunch. Ham sandwich with swiss cheese, lettuce, and ranch dressing. Fruit pouch, juice box, a chocolate chip cookie from the batch they made last night, and a sticky note with an inspirational song lyric, a heart, and Jaskier’s name.
He closed up her Wonder Woman lunch box as she came clomping down the stairs. He zipped up her lunch box in her backpack and handed it to her as the bus honked.
“Here you go, honey, you have a great day at school,” he said, smiling at her and bending down to hug her. She smiled and hugged him back as she took her bag.
“Thanks, Mom,” she said as she ran down the hallway and out the front door to the bus. Jaskier had frozen and watched her go. She left the front door open and turned to wave as she got on the bus. He mentally shook himself and waved back. Once the bus had driven away he walked down the hallway and closed the door and then leaned against it.
He was in shock. Ciri had called him ‘Mom’.

But even after weeks of eye-stalking Geralt, he cannot summon the courage to go up to the physicist and introduce himself, much less confess his feelings. That's when a desperate Jaskier decides he will start leaving anonymous gifts for his crush ...
Until, that is, he learns that Geralt has a boyfriend. Angst ensues ...

Summary
When Geralt of Rivia made an ill-advised wish to save Yennefer of Vengerberg's life by binding her to him, he didn't think about the repercussions.
A few years later, shortly after the Fall of Cintra and finally claiming his Child Surprise, the Witch finds a way to undo the Wish, and Geralt remembers. Turns out, that love he felt for Yenn was transferred from what he felt for another - another, whom he has treated terribly in the years since then, and who finally had enough.
But will Jaskier ever forgive him? Will Geralt ever manage to apologise? He has a child now, and the Continent is at War.
