To be clear, he wakes up cold; wakes up clinging to his blanket, teeth chattering, wings twitching. He blinks his eyes open. It feels rather like he’s come down with a sudden, slapdash fever; the world blurs.
A chirp pops out of his mouth. He blinks at himself.

He’s nesting.
